Donatello + Future = No Good

This is a well-recognized pattern in the TMNT franchise. From his disappearance in Same as it Never Was in 2003, to his robot body in the Mutant Apocalypse arc in 2012, from his demise in the Last Ronin series, to him not surviving to the start of the ROTTMNT movie, in some way, shape, or form he doesn't make it. It is often said that Donatello never makes it in a bad future, but this isn't exactly true. There is one caveat to him surviving in a bad future: his brothers don't. Either he's always down or the last one standing. In the IDW comic Turtles in Time, they go to a future where the shredder takes over (sound familiar?) and they run into a grizzled old turtle. This old man is Donatello, and his brothers are gone. Why? He gave up. He left the good fight, and his brothers passed. Would they have survived if he had stayed, or would he have passed alongside them? It is unclear, but this glimpse at the future where he is the only survivor is a part of a long pattern of Donatello having poor luck in the future.

Yesterday, I went to this really cool place called Timeline Arcade and these are all the games I played there.

they also had a projector that played 80s cartoons like He-Man, Robotech and Galaxy High.

Turtles in Time Re-Shelled | Tuesday, 09.10.24

The PS3 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled was released through PlayStation Network in North America exactly 15 years ago.

However, despite being a moderate commercial success, the game was delisted alongside the Xbox 360 version almost 2 years later (around 2011) due to expiring licenses with Ubisoft (and because Nickelodeon and Viacom acquired the IP around that time).

『Mighty Morphin Power Rangers』 Pixel Variant Covers

These special edition, sprite-based comic covers were crafted by Diego Sanches. The left one, created for Power Rangers' 30th anniversary Comic Special, references the player select screen from the Sega Genesis fighting game adaptation.

The right cover was created for issue #3 of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II crossover comic. It's a recreation of the first stage of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles∶ Turtles in Time, but with Power Ranger characters.

Day 9. 1991. Tmnt had many video games, most of them obviously based on the 87 cartoon, but now and then it's had its own original premises & designs like turtles in time, one of them being Baxter, who's probably the biggest version of him as a fly we've ever gotten & I gotta say in a irl perspective he's pretty creepy, until you remember it's still the 90s, and he's still goofy. (But Not for long tho) It's also pretty interesting that he's voiced by Sam Riegel in this game, the man who would later on become the voice actor of Donatello in 2003, dude's been a badguy & a turtle lol. (and a Gnome)
