"I Remember Skyrim" Gift artwork created for Wes Johnson-- the voice of Lucien LaChance, Sheogorath, and other beloved characters. It was printed on a canvas scroll and given to him personally last Friday at Twin Cities Con 2024. I had my picture taken with us holding the art scroll up for view, but I really wish the photographer had captured the look on his face when he realized it was for him. He gave me a big hug afterwards, and not just once. We crossed paths in the artist section, while I was browsing and maybe he was headed back to the table, and he actually stopped me to chat and to thank me again for the art (another hug! Aw!). He's super nice and easy to talk to-- he just gave off cool dad vibes the whole time, so it felt more like I was at a family Christmas and seeing a relative for the first time in a year or so. So glad I was able to make it out to TCC for this opportunity, and so many others!

Epic emmett W!! Went to a Timothy Zahn panel at TwinCitiesCon, then got to MEET him (again) and he signed my copy of Thrawn (2017) !!!!!

There's a pretty sizable travel load for the year, and more still to possibly be added! My husband will be more prevalent as well, as he'll be covering me for weekends I'm busy with Topsy Turvy Show this year where able. ✨🌟✨

Good to be home! Actors talking about wanting to be with their family made me run back to mine! I missed them!

Had a blast at Twin Cities Con !! It felt like three days worth of Christmas morning, yet at the same time like boot camp because that's the only other time I have done so much "bumper-to-bumper" walking around, and hurrying up to stand while waiting an excruciatingly long time. Oh and there was a lot of shouting but it was staff scolding people blocking walkways.

I am extremely agoraphobic, I hate bright lights, I have foot problems, I have never driven myself to Minneapolis before and was nervous about it, and I was doing this kind of thing alone for the first time in over fifteen years. But

But I was determined to be there for these people....

Yes! I was so sure that I would have to go to San Diego or New York for this privilege, and traveling to those places alone would have broken the bank. Thank you so much for coming out here! I've been a Star Wars fan since 1995, when I happened to catch a scene from "Return of the Jedi" at Roundtable Pizza and asked my mother about it. So I got the original trilogy that was rereleased the Christmas of that year and became an instant fan. (There is nothing wrong with a Herbert cousin being a Star Wars fan too. Dune and Star Wars are not rivals!) so it's great to meet someone that had been a part of the franchise from the very beginning, and played two of the greatest villains of all cinematic history!

I totally get how crowds can be overwhelming, but I hope you will always take away from these experiences the understanding that the love and appreciation that you have deserved from the very beginning of your career is out there and it is massive. There are always going to people that chose to thrive by spreading their misery instead of finding more positive ways to deal with their problems, but don't listen to them. You saw how many people piled in like cattle for hours for a little bit of time to tell you how much they love you. The autograph thing was only icing on the big cake- a souvenir for a moment that mattered most to them. They were there for you! I only regret that referred to one film when I talked to you, Hayden. You are great in ALL movies! I was trying to get out what I could in the very little time I had, so I referred to a film I didn't think was mentioned often, and made sure to express appreciation.

After 16 years of being an Elder Scrolls fan and Lucien nut it's a real treat to finally meet the the one who voiced him and other beloved characters of the franchise, especially when I was the one that got stopped while browsing Artists Alley. I'm just flattered beyond words that you would spare free time just to talk like we were friends bumping into each other in the grocery store lol. For the longest time I thought I would have to fly out to a DC con for this ! Thank you much for coming out here again! And Thank you for saying I'm a good mom-- I should say you are an awesome dad and I wish I could have been as lucky as your kids are!Hope to see you again soon!

I am going to a convention this upcoming weekend and I am quite excited about it. I'll be there on Friday as a plague doctor but both Saturday and Sunday I will be dressed as a vampire (technically?). I will be sure to share photos of the outfit, if you see me you may come say hello :}

I felt an urge to yap about this Con experience I've been suppressing in my mind!!

Me, my partner, and some friends attended twin cities con a couple weeks ago now. The Friday of the con, my partner had to work so it was just me and the girlies.

I am dressed as Erza Scarlett, my girls are dressed as Angeldust, and tetsuru kuroo. (A whole squad tbh.)

Most of the day was great! We met lots of people, spent too much money, got a lot of compliments on our cosplays. Yadda yadda.

UNTIL... we'd made a pitstop to talk to a really great Valentino cosplayer, my Angeldust got a photo with them and it was a great interaction, as it's finishing up, we're approached by a Lucifer Cosplayer.

The collective girlie group thought was "ah yes, a Lucifer, clearly here to talk to the Valentino and Angeldust." But Lucifer had other ideas.

He literally wedged himself in front of my Angeldust, ignoring her and Valentino completely, to exclaim that I was dressed as Erza Scarlett and that'd I'd done a nice job on my outfit BUT it wasn't her coolest armor and I definitely could have included more in my cosplay.

This guy is like, blatantly ignoring the fact that I'm with other people and suddenly just starts diving in on his extensive Fairy Tail HCs, specifically talking about how Lucy and Natsu need to have two kids to portray heteronormative gender and family roles.

My friends are literally staring at me and this guy who's basically cornering me off as they're trying to move on to the next thing, and I'm TRYING so hard to politely end the conversation, but the guy literally won't quit. My Kuroo had to like loudly call out over him "[my name] we're gonna go stand in line to meet [celebrity name], come on!" And I quickly took the opportunity to tell Lucifer it was nice to meet him and run away.

Lucifer literally huffed at my friend and like glared daggers as we walked away. Like he was pissed they didn't just leave me behind even though I was clearly uncomfortable. Idk man it was just really weird.
