My Danganronpa AU Masterlist
Because I realized I need some organization on my blog, lol.
First, my actual fanfiction is mostly on AO3; these will be just Tumblr stuff. Feel free to send an ask about any of these!
AU's are listed in alphabetical order, and the bullet points for each AU are in the order I think would be most coherent for anyone unfamiliar with the AU. I had to limit the amount of posts I included as bullet points, because this post really tested the hyperlink limit at first, lol. In the future, I might make separate masterlists for some of the longer, more detailed AU's in this post, so I can just link the masterlists here. That'll give me room for more links, lol.

Can you please do a scenario where Komaru and Toko find where the V3 cast are and save them right before Rantaro even could die? The V3 cast watch in awe on how Monokuma is terrified of a girl wielding a megaphone, at least until she destroyed the Exisals. Komaru and Toko 14 new friends in the process and helped them in Towa City.
Oh boy. Ohhhhhh boy. I’ve got a lot to say about this one, and I’m sure that others will show some level of interest. I could probably expand more on this than I’m about to, so if you really want that send in another ask another time. WARNING: Spoiler for Chapter One goodness.
Tumblr media
V3 and Towa City Collide
The music started to get to everyone as they anxiously awaited their impending dooms. Kaede sat in the classroom holding the shot put ball in hand, ready to roll it through the vent. Everyone’s lives were on the line, and she couldn’t let everyone she had become friends with fall to the mastermind. She gripped it even tighter. Her head was clouded with determination as she-
“MOVE!”
A crash in the distance took her attention away from her actions, preemptively dropping the shot put ball into the vent. Worriedly, she looked back at it, running out to see what had happened. Shuichi seemed to hear it too as he ran back to see where she was going. She took his hand in hers and dragged him down the hallway, the music still blaring into their ears.
She broke through the front of the school doors, noticing immediately a large crack in the dome surrounding them. She watched with wild eyes as it attempted to hold back a force from the outside. She shared a look with Shuichi before dropping his hand and dashing. Shuichi followed, his cap falling off his head. They reached the edge of the dome and started pounding on it.
“HELP US! THERE’S PEOPLE IN HERE, PLEASE!” Kaede yelled, causing Shuichi to Mimick her actions.
“Please! We’ve been stuck in here for days, we’re gonna die!” Shuichi begged, hitting the wall with his shoulder. Slowly, others started leaving the school’s doors to join them. Eventually, fifteen ultimates found themselves pounding at the same space, save for Rantaro. They heard the music get louder as Monokuma’s boisterous laughter filled the entire campus.
“TIIIIIIIME’S UP!”
Everything shook beneath them, and they saw Rantaro running out the doors of the school with two monopads, scrambling not to trip on his feet. Hounding behind him was a pack of Monokumas of different sizes, almost able to strike him down.
“MOVE!!”
The wall broke down, crumbling around the ground. A stray piece of it almost hit Miu on the head, but she was pushed out of the way by Gonta, who caught it and held it like a baby in his arms. From the rubble came two girls who looked to be their same age. They wore different school uniforms, but they acted as one unit as they moved in.
“THE EYES! HIT THE RED EYES AND THEY’RE DONE!” the girl with short hair yelled. Rantaro turned around, hurling one of the monopads into the bestial Monokuma’s eye. Surely enough, it stopped moving, falling over and causing a blast that flung him across the field and into a building. Kaede winced as she watched him take that impact.
“There we go! One of you, catch this.” the short-haired girl threw a megaphone over at the crowd watching her incredulously. Angie took it into her hands, handing it over to Tenko telling her it was Atua’s will to give it to her.Tenko ran with the others, adjusting it to the setting she saw on the other one. The girl who was hanging back twirled a taser in her head before putting it to her head with a sheepish look on her face before using it. Her movements became more erratic as she let out shrill laughter. She ducked beneath the two girls with megaphones, dashing quicker than the remaining crowd thought was possible for someone of her stature.
“We can’t stay put,” Kaede mumble, before turning to everyone.
“Listen! We can’t stay put. I don’t know what we’re going up against, and I don’t want to think too hard about it. Nevertheless, we’re Ultimates! We lead the world to the future, regardless of how unattainable it seems. Together, we can take this down, no problem. Find something to throw, regardless of the size!” She picked up a piece of stone from an unfinished building nearby, smiling. Everyone looked around them quickly before arming themselves with growing determination.
The group, led by Kaede, ran at full force to meet the black and white blobs of abominations coming towards them as quickly as possible, rapid whirring noises filling the air as they got closer.
Before they knew it, they were looking at a pile of dismembered electrical parts, smoke coming off of them. Everyone looked at one another with incredulous eyes before remembering Rantaro, and running over to where he was flung to.
He was laying on the ground, propped up against a wall as he was holding his leg and letting a hissing noise escape his mouth with every slight moment he made, and he looked up with weary eyes to see everyone stunned to see he was alive. He chuckled, letting his head hit the back of the wall.
“What, you really thought I was dead?” He shrugged, looking to the side. “It takes more than a little blast to kill me.”
“Hey big guy, can you carry him?” Kaito asked, looking at Gonta. He nodded, picking Rantaro from the ground like he weighed absolutely nothing.
“Whoa, Gonta think you need eat more!”
“Did you see that, Toki? How cool was that?!” one of the girls called in the distance, cheering.
“I told you, it’s Toko. I don’t like nicknames much, Komaru,” the other girl responded sounding aggravated. Laughter followed, and the group moved out towards them.
“Sorry for the late introduction, but time was of the essence. I’m Komaru, and the shy girl is Toko. I’d be happy to get to know you better when we’re in a safer place,” She said with a sweet smile. No one questioned her, but knew if they didn’t leave now they’d have to suffer the consequences of the killing game.
Rantaro looked at the group of people ahead of him, smiling as he looked at Kaede. He didn’t get the chance to thank her for killing the Monokuma that would’ve gotten him had it not been for the shot put ball he assumed she dropped due to the pink fuzz that fell with it. He figured he’d tell her when they could all finally rest.
For now, they had to figure out just what was happening with the outside world.
(ahhhhhhh hope you like it!!)

Rules:
Basics: This blog is mutual only, selective, and not spoiler-free. I don’t typically tag spoilers, either, so please be mindful of this should you choose to follow. Blah blah standard rp etiquette stuff. Let’s not be terrible to one another.
Non-RP Blogs: Are welcome to follow and interact with me, my muse, or any guest muses in the ask box. That said, please don’t reblog posts or threads unless otherwise specified. If you’re ever curious, don’t be scared to ask!
Triggers: If it’s canon, it’ll likely be here at some point. I tag whatever I think to be default, but I will also tag upon request. Tags are formatted: “cw:trigger” so blacklist as needed.
Shipping: I’m always open to discussing all kinds of ships, be they romantic, platonic, familial, or something else altogether. That said: please don’t use me or my muse solely for shipping fodder. I’ve had...experiences, and it’s discouraging to say the least. I’ll usually only ship where I feel there’s potential and chemistry.
NSFW Content: I am well over 18. Adult content is permitted on this blog. However, I will only thread NSFW plots of any kind with muns and muses who are of age, and with whom I feel comfortable. Implied content will be tagged with “#lemon scented’ and more explicit content will be tagged with “#lemon” so please blacklist accordingly. Furthermore, I feel the need to firmly state that absolutely no romantic content will be threaded with muns who are under 18 or with whom I don’t feel comfortable, regardless of their muse.
Crossovers: Are welcome and encouraged!! Provided I know at least a little something about the other fandom and characters, and/or you’re willing to help me up to speed.
Formatting: I have a preferred format for replies, but it isn’t set in stone. If you have accessibility requirements, such as text size, please tell me and I’ll do my best to be accommodating.
Hard Lines: For personal reasons, I will not write any of the following: yandere, cheating, anything in which my muse intentionally mistreats her loved one/s in a way that’s out of character, custody/certain family disputes, explicit depictions of domestic abuse (with precious few exemptions), explicit depictions of animal abuse. Thank you for understanding.
And that's it. I've tried to keep this list fairly brief and easy to follow, but if you have any further questions, I'll be only too happy to answer to the best of my ability. more rules may be added or current ones altered if required. however, i'll make an announcement if/when such a thing occurs.

Tokomaru Week 2021
Disclaimer/Warning: This event/prompts may or may not contain spoilers for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (DRAE: UDG), Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (DR: THH), and Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School anime. Please proceed with caution, ESPECIALLY if you haven’t played the games and/or watched a walkthrough.
Rules:
All Tokomaru Week artwork and fanart must be rated PG-13! Even if NSFW was used as a prompt or anytime, please be careful about posting it, especially it’s 18+ content. However, because of the new Tumblr rule took effect 2 years ago (December 2018), you must post it somewhere else! For those who want to do this and want the list of approved websites, message me!
No Tokomaru hate art at all! This week is not to post Anti-Tokomaru stuff. It is about how much we care about Toko and Komaru.
Anyone who participates in this event can do any of the chosen prompts for this year or can draw/write their own work for Tokomaru Week.
You can do the prompts at any time during the year or use/reuse them for next year.
This is optional, but you can add another Danganronpa couple if you want. Doesn’t matter if it’s canon, fanon, crack, or even OC x DR ship.
No stealing another person’s work! That includes commissions, requests, or art trades you ask for! However, you can commission or request a simple prompt day to draw/write from an artist/writer.
For artists, you can draw artwork in any type of style.
Spoiler alert! If the prompt you choose and what you draw/write contains a spoiler for a game or the anime, make sure you warn people! Especially those who are new to the Danganronpa series!
Final rule: Have fun!
Prompts:
Just like most prompt weeks from Danganronpa, this one will have three prompts to choose from. The event will run from January 10 to January 17.
January 10th: First Date/Birthdays/Memories/Warrior of Hope
First Date: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are going on their first date as a couple.
Birthdays: This prompt means that either they are celebrating Toko’s or Komaru’s birthdays.
Memories: This prompt means that they are revealing their childhoods. However, since Toko’s past is trauma, add a trigger warning if it’s needed.
Warrior of Hope: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are taking care of the Warrior of Hope members!
January 11th: Killing Game AU/Reality Game Shows/Talent Swap and/or AU Talents
Killing Game AU: This prompt means it’s an alternate universe where Komaru Naegi is a participant of the Killing School Life featured in Trigger Happy Havoc or both Toko and Komaru are participants of the Killing School Trip in Goodbye Despair or Killing School Semester in V3: Killing Harmony.
Reality Game Shows: This prompts means that Toko and Komaru are contestants on a reality game show, regardless if this is an AU (where the Danganronpa characters compete in reality game shows) or in the canon universe. For example, the two are a team in The Amazing Race (or in Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race) or competing against each other in Survivor.
Talent Swap/AU Talents: This prompt is fun: let the girls get talent swaps and/or give Komaru a talent, doesn’t matter if the talent is used from the games/anime or a fan-made one.
January 12th: Beach/Having Pride/Sweets
Beach: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are enjoying their day at the beach or having a summer vacation involving the beach.
Having Pride: This prompt means that the two girls are celebrating the Pride events.
Sweets: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are enjoying sweets or desserts.
January 13th: Shopping/Reacting to COVID-19/Binge-Watching/Towa Arc
(Four prompts, with the fourth one being exclusive to artists!)
Shopping: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are shopping. It can be grocery shopping, clothes shopping, anything.
Reacting to COVID-19: This prompts means that Toko and Komaru react to the pandemic. They can either quarantine themselves, stock up on food, spend more time outdoors or even be in the events of the Diamond Princess cruise pandemic. Or Toko and/or Komaru caught the virus and are now trying to get better.
Night Out: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are enjoying a night out with each other.
Towa Arc: Artists can do this prompt. This prompt means to draw a moment from Towa Arc in Danganronpa 3: Distrust, which the story can be found on Archive Of Our Own: https://archiveofourown.org/works/27237316/chapters/66536032
January 14th: Weddings/Valentine’s Day/After Ultra Despair Girls
Weddings: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are getting married in their own wedding ceremony or attending their friends’ weddings.
Valentine’s Day: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are celebrating the romantic holiday, Valentine’s Day.
After Ultra Despair Girls: This prompt means that what will happen to Toko and Komaru now that the events of Ultra Despair Girls are over.
January 15th: Non-Despair AU/Crossover/Despair AU
Non-Despair AU: This prompt means that this takes place in an alternate universe where the killing game didn’t happen at all. So do anything with them!
Crossover: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are in a crossover event. It can be anime, video games, cartoons, etc,. For example, they can be in a crossover with Pokemon.
Despair AU: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru had either fallen in despair for some reason, masterminds of the killing game or are part of the Remnants of Despair.
January 16th: Cooking/Soulmates/Insecurities
Cooking: This prompt means that Toko and Komaru are cooking either for each other, for their friends, or for a special gathering.
Soulmates: This prompt means that Toko and/or Komaru have a soulmate involving each other.
Insecurities: This prompt means that either Toko, Komaru or both of them has self-doubts, such as if Toko feels that she isn’t a good friend/lover to Komaru.
January 17th: Future Arc/Despair Arc AU/Spa Day/Free Day
Future Arc/Despair Arc AU: Final first prompt. This means that Toko and Komaru are forced to do the Final Killing Game along with the other Future Foundation members, including Makoto, Kyoko, and Hina. Or if you do Despair Arc AU, that means Toko and Komaru are part of Class-77B or even in an AU where the DR1 cast is Class-77B!
Spa Day: Final second prompt. This means that they are enjoying a day or the weekend at the spa.
Free Day: Third and final prompt. This is a free day prompt, meaning that you can do anything with this. Even add NSFW content (see Rule #1)!
If you have ANY questions, concerns, or suggestions for Tokomaru Week in the future, feel free to send asks or a message!
EDIT #1 (November 20, 2020): Two prompts (NSFW and Festivals/Events) had been replaced with Weddings and Holidays.
EDIT #2 (November 25, 2020): Two prompts (Stormy Nights and Holidays) had been replaced with Valentine’s Day and Despair AU.
EDIT #3 (November 30, 2020): Valentine’s Day got listed twice, oops. So one of them got changed to Shopping for the January 13 date. Also, added a bonus prompt for that day.
EDIT #4: (December 10, 2020): Three prompts (Animals, Cruise, and Sickness and/or Injury) had been replaced with Soulmates, Reacting to COVID-19, and Binge-Watching. A new rule has also been added!
EDIT #5 (December 20, 2020): Final update! A prompt has been added to Day 1 (Warrior of Hope) while Binge-Watching had been replaced with Night Out.
EDIT #6: Future Arc AU prompt also got a Despair Arc option as well!

danganronpa unpopular opinions?
Oh boy [rubs hands together]
*While popular characters like Kokichi and Nagito you don't have to love,,, They also don't deserve unnecessary hate. And if you do hate on ANY character you should tag it as character hate and not put it in the characters tags
*^ this also goes for unpopular characters. If you hate characters like Hifumi that's fine but dont go out telling people who love him/or that they are wrong to like him
*Kaito is not homophobic and I'm tired of the boring takes where he is [Yes, even Pre-Game Kaito]. If any homophobia- that shit is internalized homophobia
*T9 build off this, If you make a character homphobic/transphobic in a fic and it's a canon character PLEASE TAG LOVE OF ANYONE
*its okay to like the mlm pair more then the mlw pair! It's okay to like the mlw pair more then the mlm pair! IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU A BETTER/WORSE PERSON FOR LIKING OR DISLIKING ONE
*Maki is not a boring character, neither is Himiko
*Neither is Sonia, yall just didnt do her FTE
*In Ultimate Development Plan the WOH should've been added,, even just as a bonus [this isnt too serious, I'm just playing UDG and am sad not to see em in Ultimate Development Plan]
*Crossover ships are legit fine And also tend to be absolutely adorable
*Chatfics are fine and dont deserve the hate they get. tho I wish at times there was a tag you could filter out.
*hate or love V3, it gave A LOT of content that Thh and Sdr2 didnt [Like Ultimate Development Plan and Monokuma's Test]. Also slappy hands is the funniest game mechanic
*I love Makoto and personally think he's best Protag [Maybe Komaru, uit I'm still playing to figure out]. But it's very very close cause I love Hajime, Shuichi, and Kaede too
*Ehhh, prepare yourself: Bi or Pan or anything other then Lesbian Hcs are legit fine for Tenko [<Tho, straight ones are Ehhh, since I do recognize she's wlw in canon] BEFORE YALL GET GUNG HO I AM A LESBIAN [Oh! But someone Hc her as Lesbian is valid and dont go after people who are uncomfy with Bi Tenko. To avoid drama we should just tag things!]
^Fyi it takes a lot of spoons for me to talk about Tenko in general, so if you want to start a (F A I R) discussion w/her know that it might take a bit for me to respond
Eyy, so thx for the ask! Some of these could be applied out of dangan fandom too But I hope they were what you were looking for 🤘

The only ending everyone seems to ignore is v3 because it’s just... it’s just a mess.
How do feel about this game survivors? And do you think that everyone woke up from the simulator or tv show like sdr2 or only the survivors?
Hoo boy...
Honestly nonny, having only finished the dang thing yesterday I... don't know.
(I kinda went off into a spiel, so feel free to skip to the part where I talk about survivors and what I think happens next)
I understand the mixed response a LOT. I mean- I see what they were going for. The 4th wall break was cool, and the (sorta?) reappearance of past characters was pretty damn awesome. I like that the creators are definitely self aware- and there's a kind of 'learn to laugh at yourself' sort of thing.
On the other hand it can almost seem a little too mocking?
I get the whole yaknow. 'Fictional characters are aware they're fictional and rebel against their creators' thing but- like-?
As I mentioned before, thing is, Tsumugi is not us? We aren't exactly intentionally cruel? There's a BIG difference between the kind of fiction in our world and in their world.
What does Tsumugi call it? "Real fiction"?. Yeah- thing is- we don't have that. We don't have the technology for it, and I certainly hope we wouldn't abandon ethics for it either!!! We can't have 'real' fiction, because in our world, all fiction is fake! The closest you have is fiction about real people, perhaps, but- that's not even remotely the same thing?
So it does come across as a little... um- preachy.
We're supposed to represent the audience but... like- the audience fucking suck! What was that they said during the argument armament? "This guy should have died instead of Kaede!" Like- fucking hell. Imagine saying that to someone, who can HEAR you say it, and who's MURDER you could potentially watch unfold before your very eyes as a result of YOUR actions. I mean- look how empathetic some of us are to ACTUAL fictional characters. Could you imagine if we were in a similar situation to the outside world in V3???
Maybe it's because I keep imagining the v3 cast as like- sentient AI, instead of "just fiction". Because I can't imagine anyone being so sadistic or apathetic otherwise.
So uh- yeah. I don't... know how I feel about that. It's not- very satisfying?
With sdr2, the whole "none of this is real, the killing game is all a lie, you're in a fake world!" felt like a relief ! Whereas here it's more like- "what?? It's all fake? What the hell was the point then?!"
"Nothing matters!" vs "nothing matters..."
The whole HOPE VS DESPAIR, FUTURE VS PAST thing worked, because, well, it's something we can all understand. We have all felt hope and we have all felt despair. We've all, at some point in our lives, felt stuck in the past, unable to or scared to move on.
(Hey- some of us still feel like that now, even).
The first game was very simple- hope and despair. Still relatable, but fairly basic- effective to set up the foundation for the follow up.
The second game made things a little more complicated. Sometimes it's more complicated then just- choosing between Hope and Despair. We refuse to fall into Despair, but we can't just blindly have Hope.
So we choose the Future. We can't promise it'll be a good one OR a bad one. But whatever happens- we need to move on. The only way we can make things change is by making that choice, to create our OWN future.
V3 felt very... complex. It started to get kind of... uh... philosophical? And- don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with that. It just... it kind of shifted from TRUTH VS LIE to FICTION VS REALITY. And whilst the latter definitely sounds interesting- I don't really know if I liked the direction they took with it-? I wish they'd kept the focus on TRUTH VS LIE a lot more.
(Fiction and Reality are like extensions of Lie and Truth but- only to a certain extent? Really?)
It's kind of harder to get into the final fight in V3 because... what are you fighting? The outside world? I mean- I can't speak for the rest of you, but as far as I'm aware I'm not a fictional character.
(If I am- then wow someone's a reallly bad writer huh?)
I can relate to Hope. I can relate to Future.
I can't relate to Fiction.
I THOUGHT maybe the message was a warning of the dangers of escapism ('please dont go as far as to erase your own personality just to be a part of a type of fiction you like' definitely seems fitting for this fandom)- but the message "fiction has the power to change the world!" kinda contradicts that. I mean- I do like that message, but- I don't like the idea of a series about killing games being heavily influential-!
The whole problem was that people grew so obsessed with the series that they threw away their lives! Is that not the point you should be focusing on-!!!!
The outside world in this universe fucking sucks. So they changed their mind, big DEAL! that's not comforting knowing they let this shit continue for 53 seasons-! I mean, maybe Makoto and Hajime were all 100% fictional, but at some point they started putting real people into these games, and everyone was ok with that!
I just-
I'm glad Shuichi got through to them at last but...
Someone said something which resonated with me- "in a vacuum, this is good". Like... on it's own, I thought the ending was great! It was entertaining, for sure. And the whole concept and stuff was unexpected and interesting. You gotta give em points for originality.
The problem comes with it being the 3rd game in a series. (Ignoring UDG I mean-). When a series becomes a Trilogy, you gotta make it good. This is presumably the last game in the (main) series too. And- after the UTTER NARRATIVE DISAPPOINTMENT of dr3- can you blame people for wanting more? People fell in love for THH and SDR2 (and UDG even if its not part of the main series) for a reason- and, for me at least, a biiiig part of that reason was the continued storyline. The last chapter of sdr2 was the hypest shit EVER. when you see glimpses of the previous game bleed into this one, only for it to turn into what's like- a full crossover???? The previous game isn't just mentioned, it's a straight up sequel!!!! I had absolutely no idea Makoto and co would return (i thought the games were separate) so when i saw that they'd be interacting with the new cast- yoooooooooooooooo-!
Hell, even seeing alter ego again made me go WILD.
V3 plays upon these expectations, and subverts them, but... not necessarily in a good way? You- kind of feel cheated? (Idk if you're an avengers fan, but- it's like expecting *Endgame* and instead getting...
Well- Endgame).
The ending isn't bad persay it's just- not quite what one would expect? I can definitely understand why people are disappointed. The problem is, instead of standing alone, you can't help but consider it as part of the series. Individually, I don't think the ending was that weak or bad, but in comparison to the series as a whole?
Meh.
SURVIVORS
(Oh my- I really got off track, oh dear. I'll- get back to what you asked now.)
KEEBO
W H Y
They rllly gonna rub salt in the wound huh?
(Whilst i dont dislike the other survivors, there are a LOT of people i really really wanted to see make it to the end, and it's just the final god damn nail in the coffin to kill off the last of the few characters I came even close to liking the most-)
Killing keebo was dumb
Maki- I liked Maki quite a bit! She's a bit cold, yeah, but I warmed up to her after hearing her backstory.
I found it annoying (if understandable) that no one trusted her at first. I thought it was sweet that her, Kaito and Shuichi had this friendship trio. They really trusted each other- it was very refreshing. I also love me a strong girl. Her romance thing with Kaito was a little... forced. I'd have found it more meaningful if they kept it more subtle/ambiguous (though i suppose they needed smth to use against her in the final trial sooo-).
Himiko-
I-
*sigh*
Ok I'm going to say this once, and once only.
Someoneonthedrteamhasabigthingforlolis
OK! I SAID IT- AND IM NEVER SAYING IT AGAIN
No judgement here of course. Just. Uh. Y-yeah-
(I'm mainly kidding of course, idek if Himiko counts as a loli but-)
I mean... I'm not... the fondest of very small, childish girl characters (Saionji intensifies). I like a bit of childishness in a character but- i mean- it depends.
(I'll never recover from the "seductive whisper" thing from the love suite event
Never.
Never ever.)
Himiko comes across as like An Actual Child at times and at the start it was VERY annoying. Surprisingly, I warmed up to her eventually. I knew in advance she'd be a survivor so i kinda thought "well she's gonna stick around so might as well try to like her". I do appreciate that she underwent a character arc too, and it was sweet to see how she became a more active, determined person. I wish it hadn't taken Tenko's death for her to finally start changing but whatever. She is quite a cute character and after a while became more endearing then annoying.... (for the most part).
Was she in my top 3 picks for a survivor? No.
The top 10 even?
N-no-
I'm glad she's still alive though. SOMEONE damn well needs to be.
Tsumugi- ah. She's not a survivor, is she? I knew well in advance she was the mastermind so I didn't really warm up to her all that much during the final chapters, for obvious reasons.
Shuichi- if shuichi hadn't survived I think that would have been the breaking point for me, honestly.
Overall- uh... they aren't... the ideal picks. Shuichi is the only one I really wanted to see survive, I was neutral towards the others. Tbh I was just happy anyone was alive by the end of that.
Waking up- for the sake of my sanity, I like to think that after the survivors wake up, they threaten to sue and/or maim the shit out of the dr team if they don't start on reanimating their 'dead' friends right fucking now. Surely they gotta keep their consciousness' somewhere in those memories banks right? I mean- what if they ever wanted a "surprise return from the dead" plotline? Surely they gotta keep em somewhere? Right?
Whether or not they reawaken as their in-game or pre-game selves, who knows. Whichever you prefer, I guess. Maybe a mixture of both.

Rules
I’m semi-selective, OC friendly, and semi-low activity. I will also rp crossovers.
I am caught up the first two games and DR3, and am available for roleplay with characters from those respective points in the DR timeline. Although I have not played V3 yet, I know the premise of the game and will roleplay with characters from that game as well. As for UDG, I have not played that game yet nor am I familiar with the characters exclusive to that game, so I’m a bit hesitant to interact with muses from that game in fear of potential spoilers. You may still approach me if you have a UDG muse and would still like to interact.
If we are going to interact, I would prefer if you had proper grammar. I don’t mind typos, they happen to the best of us. But if you grammar is inconsistent and genuinely hard to understand, I’m not likely to interact with you. Same goes for non-easily accessible fonts and formats.
I am open to ships with everyone, mainly those in the main dr cast! That includes THH, Goodbye Despair, and Killing Harmony! Teruteru is my favorite character, however, so he will be a priority when shipping, but don’t let that stop you from coming to me about ships!
I will always properly tag triggers. Naya is a self conscious person with anxiety and is prone to panic attacks, so expect things of that caliber on this blog. If you do not wish to see that, come to me and I will tag it for you.
This is a drama free blog. Call outs and/or hate posts of any kind are not and will not be tolerated here. Be respectful. If you have trouble with me or someone else, take care of the situation privately, then block and report if necessary and move on, like adults. None of us come here on tumblr to see negativity.
Since this is a sideblog, I will be following from my main account potatorobotgirl.
I am not mutually exclusive! Feel free to like my starter calls and reply to my open starters, it’d be greatly appreciated!
Mun does not equal muse. Mun will never equal muse.
I do not practice reblog karma, so feel free to reblog memes from me, you won’t get penalized for it :)
Mun is of legal age.
I just recently got xkit, so I’m able to trim my posts! I’m still learning how to use it though, so please bare with me 😅
Any non-danganronpa muse that I interact with will be its own verse, separate from the danganronpa verse, so anything that happens in will not conflict with or be canon to Naya’s primary danganronpa verse.
If you’ve read this far, congrats! Send ‘Diggin’ the Dancing Queen” in my inbox so I can ensure you’ve read through! It’s not required, though!

Danganronpa & Hollow Knight Bug Tank AU cuz I love that AU
Disclaimer: I’ve only seen letplays of of the following games: Trigger Happy Havoc, Goodbye Despair, & Ultra Despair Girls. As for animes, I’ve just seen the Despair, Future & Hope Arc. I’ll be using info I recall, have seen, & read on the .fandom.com wikis, apologies for any misinfo. I’ll also be giving spoilers I gave myself by looking through the wiki, like Danganronpa Zero. Of all the listed media I’m not mentioning UDG any further.
There are 4 routes I want to go right off the bat:
Hopes Peak students discover Hallownest & co., dig them up & are allowed to study them.
The Ultimate Despair discovers them & studying them to see if the bugs supernatural abilities can be utilized
The Remnants of Despair discovers them & studying them to see if the bugs supernatural abilities can be utilized
Junko discovers them before the downhill Despair Arc events occur
Let’s go from bottom to top w/ a simple thought for each route since I wanna get this out quickly.
Junko Route: [FYI, this is the The Radiance has infected THK time]She’s discovered intelligent societies of bugs being ravaged by an infection. Using her analytic skills & Matsuda’s research, she’s managed to figure out what’s been going on with the whole “Radiance’s” infection (yep we’re stilling doing the Infected Radiance Theory), just all written knowledge in general & she’s learning more every day. She concludes that the Radiance herself is infected when she gets her hands on the dream nail (assuming it’s physical all the time & not distributed through dreams). Now she can get info by poking bugs with it. As for dreams, I think the safer route would either be she destroys the dream or she’s the same sized as bugs would be in their dreams. From here on out though, the important thing is what Junko will this info.
Remnants of Despair Route: Why couldn’t Nagito be the one to accidentally tank Hallownest? This really depends on how quickly & who decides to study them if they figure out to decide they’re worthwhile at all. I think Izuru would temporarily be excited but if he discovered the supernatural & paranormal stuff plus the realms that could extend him wanting to research the small world further. (Potential for the R.O.D. to turn the tables in their favor)
Ultimate Despair Route: In the simplest terms, assuming the internet still functions there’s potential for a combo of the previous two routes but w/ the Ultimate Despair fighting a winning battle instead of a losing one
Hopes Peak Route (I’m gonna for the Non-Despair AU): I know nothing about V3, but let’s make a sub-branch where the V3 cast is the class to come after the DR1 cast tho unless I’m forgetting something there’s the whole two Ultimate Detectives issue. Clearly, Gonta’s gonna be taking care of them for the most part, but w/ the infection he’ll certainly go to Seiko & Mikan for help. Due to the nature of the infection starting off in the head via the Radiance’s access to the dream realm, they won’t be able to help but can tell him the symptoms, not even isolation is helping. Eventually, he gets desperate & asks every student he knows for help. The people that do decide to help him band together to try & figure out this sickness. (Based on what I know, & the wiki, he cared deeply for bugs). I feel like the discovery of especially the bad things the people of Hallownest & co. did that wasn’t out of survival could put Gonta in a dilemma, but I’m not entirely sure since I’d say I know little about his character.
I think I’ll do w/ that but I’d like to see what you think of this crossover AU or the branch AUs, & what you’d add to it

Seven reasons why “Ultimate Talent Development Plan”is a highlight of DRV3
I’ve done a lot of playthroughs of Ultimate Talent Development Plan, the digital board game/crossover AU mode featuring characters from all three of the major games int he series. And when I say “I’ve done a lot,” I mean a lot. I’m more than halfway through playing it with every character, and I have to say that it’s utterly worth the time and energy I’ve invested in it.
Here are just seven of the things that make it feel so special.
Tumblr media
1) Many popular ships are teased/referenced, so this is a shipper’s gold mine. What are you into? Naegiri? Ishimondo? Sakuraoi? Leosaya? Hinami? Komahina? Kuzopeko? Naekusaba? Harumaki? Saimatsu? Tenmiko? There’s at least one scene for almost any of the major ships to lap up with delight.
Tumblr media
2) If you do enough of the Friendship Events for any given playable characters, about 50% of the time you’ll uncover a little storyline running through that character’s life during their time at Hope’s Peak. These mini-narratives can be as light and silly as Kaede’s ongoing interest in/pursuit of a clueless Shuichi, or as serious and moving as seeing Hajime accept himself and realize he doesn’t need the Kamakura Project.
Tumblr media
3) Some of the mini-storylines even cross over, such as the narrative surrounding Junko’s distinct Despair plan in this universe. It envelops not only Junko and Mukuro’s storylines, but it also gets brushed up against by a few other characters like Komaeda.
Tumblr media
4) The more knowledge you have of DR lore, the more you’ll get out of the character interactions. There are loads of references to things you can only learn in School/Island Modes, anime-only events and characters, and even nods to the various light novels.
Tumblr media
5) If you’re willing to take the (considerable) time that it requires to unlock it, you can open up a fourth board in UTDP called the “Future Course.” This one has loads of Event Squares, and each one contains an event in which your chosen character interacts with one of the characters seen only in DR3: Future Arc!
6) They went to the trouble of making sure that characters who can encounter Hinata in annual events or Friendship Events can never encounter Kamakura and vice versa, because those characters’ storylines make co-existence impossible. It’s a little detail and it sounds silly, but it’s a nice touch.
7) If the fact that V3′s main cast doesn’t exist in the same universe as the cast from 1, 2, UDG and 3 is something that bothers you... well, here’s your chance to ignore that. In this universe,  the V3 cast is the 79th Class at Hope’s Peak, so everyone can interact across all the games.
