HELP US GET RID OF HUGE 20 YEARS OLD MANGA COLLECTION 📚✨
My sister used to collect a whole bunch of manga in the mid 2000s to mid 2010s, but nowadays she's lost her attachments to them and wants to open up a lot of space (for more manga, incidentally 🤭) so I'm helping her sell off all of the bulk! 📚✨
I've set up a temporary eBay account where I'll be listing all of the series she would like to sell off which you can find here: https://www.ebay.com/usr/littlebookghost
Her collection mainly consisted of shoujo romance, light fantasy/supernatural, and boys love titles- with many out of print titles by Tokyopop and Del Ray Manga, and she had over 100 different series/oneshots in her collection! Due to the large amount of books to list I will be adding them gradually every weekend until I have all of them up!
We'd really like to have the whole collection gone by the end of the year, so please share with anyone you think would be interested in buying them off us, we'd be super grateful! 💖

I LOVE a well used and well annotated book! Any signs of actual, everyday usage is such a wonderful find in rare books.
This is found in our copy of Bouquet composé des plus belles fleurs chimiques (1629) by David de Planis Campy.

What a score from the charity bookshop!
4 books for my daughter, 7 for me including a Pratchett first edition, all for less than £25
I must have bought a hundred books from here in the last 2 years, it’s so great

On the booktok there is this huge thing of "don't damage the books". And the whole "never break your spine" "no dog-eared page" thing pisses me off so much. Since I was a child I learned that the more the book is damaged the more we like it. And reading old books, I saw which page was read again and again. I want to see that the book had gone to the beach even if that means the page is crumpled. Books are literally a part of our lives, so it's only normal for them to look worn down from life.
I specifically remember this book when I was 8yo , Inkeart where the main character Meggie talk a lot about this and I think it has greatly influenced my way of being a reader (since I read this book I always keep my reading of the moment under my pillow)
