Workers at Sega of America, representing multiple departments, have voted to form a union. With 91 employees voting yes out of a total number of 212 eligible employees, the Allied Employees Guild Improving SEGA (also known as AEGIS-CWA) becomes the fifth video game union in the United States and its largest multi-department video game union. The AEGIS union drive was announced in April but was a year in coming for the workers at Sega of America’s Burbank and Irvine, California, offices. AEGIS-CWA is the US’s fifth video game union overall, joining groups at Raven Software, Blizzard Albany, ZeniMax, and VR / AR game developer Tender Claws. In addition to being among the first video game unions in the country, AEGIS-CWA will also represent workers across a multitude of departments including brand marketing, games as a service, localization, marketing services, product development operations, product development, sales, quality assurance teams, and more, making it the largest multi-discipline video game union in the United States.

here's the most basic rundown: benrey is an actual extraterrestrial from the very real alien dimension of xen who was orphaned as a baby and taken in by the black mesa research facility where he was then raised under scientific scrutiny to the best of the researchers’ abilities
(i dont think he got kidnapped by black mesa per se. it’s more like he got hellboy'd, if you’ve seen that lol. basically adoption out of obligation because they accidentally pulled a baby out of a hell portal).
because he lacked proper socialization with both his own species (no benny’s on earth) and humans (they didnt want him imprinting), the hlvrai simulation was attempting to teach him the merits of teamwork/friendship/being a good guy without putting any real humans in danger (ie. why coomer, bubby, and tommy are ais). the researchers facilitating his “social integration” thought simulations would be a good way to introduce him to earthly affairs and gauge his progress, so he was raised by games instead of people (arguably worse than him imprinting but go off). hlvrai was the first game/simulation with ai + an actual person participating.
gordon is the long-suffering black mesa employee accessing the simulation through vr and is meant to 1) add to the authenticity of the simulation and 2) be a moral guide for benrey (kinda like how jiminy cricket is pinnochio's conscience. second out of pocket media reference sorry i cant help it). needless to say, benrey does not become a "real boy" like pinocchio does at the end of the hlvrai run we see and will likely be needing many, many more runs before he's allowed to be "released into the wild". it’s hardly unexpected though, since his development was entirely consumed by gaming. he played hlvrai like a true gamer.

Concept/theory: ok picture C&A develops a new completely immersive vr game experience by developing technology that allows them to completely digitize a human being to literally enter their game, bear with me here, allowing people to experience completely new endlessly generated adventures in a world that moves faster than the real world allowing people to have hours or even days worth of fun and then return to their lives with only a fraction of that time having actually passed in the real world
Then picture one member of the development team, the guy we know as Jax, deciding to play a mean spirited but ultimately harmless prank on his coworkers and secretly altering the game to remove/disable the function that allows players to exit the game, intending to just trap them for a while and give them a scare before fixing it, except.. he miss judges the time difference and they're trapped much longer than intended and in the panic of the situation some of the people in the game start to abstract
When the rest of the team discovers this they try to remove the trapped players but something is.. wrong. They can bring back the physical bodies but the data for the minds is scrambled somehow, the people coming back are either completely comatose or utterly mad or worse
They prevent the rest of the players from leaving in the face of what they can only assume is some terrible bug in the code and the company scrambles to cover their tracks and hide the truth of the missing play testers and employees, Jax could reveal the truth and fix his meddling to release the un abstracted players but the damage has already been done and he'd rather leave them trapped and play dumb than risk facing the consequences of admitting to his prank gone wrong. Eventually of course one way or another he ends up trapped as well

Recently I was looking up on wiki someone about fnaf help wanted and during that I was immediately reminded of one thing: the in universe game development studio Silver Parasol games (the company responsible for creating the in universe VR game Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience) and when looking that up I saw that their logo has a white rabbit mascot, we know that Vanessa used to work at silver parasol before glitchtrap infected her mind and developed the Vanny persona and even in the curse of dreadbear DLC theirs a Vanny mask, seeing how the VANNI mask unit is something that all fazbear Class V Technicians use is it possible that before Vanessa and before glitchtrap that Vanny started out as just a simple mascot character.
Actually, Vanessa didn't ever work at Silver Parasol, that was Tape Girl, who mentions that development was moving to a different studio or smth soon. Vanessa was always a Fazbear employee as far as we can tell. It's a neat idea though!

Sooooooooo how’s the AU coming along? I remember that being one of the last things you told me about, but I don’t see much about it in your blog
I havnt had much time to work on it, but I have more details fixed out. It’s still a very simple concept. The Career AU is still a WIP. I filled in careers/jobs for characters that don’t have a confirmed canon career with ones that fit closely with their nature.
Career AU Roles:
Pomni: Accountant
Kinger: Computer Scientist/Developer
Queenie: Entomologist
Zooble: Tattoo Artist
Gangle: Artist/Animator
Ragatha: Nurse
Jax: Minimum wage fast food worker or something.
Bubble: Chef
Caine: CEO/Boss/Director or something of high ranking
And they aren’t human, they still have similar wacky designs similar to canon. And they are still trapped in a VR game. Except the game is basically based of Job Simulator! Caine is similar to the Boss Bot/Tutorial Bot who explains how to do your job… but he’s BAD at it.
And they still have no memory, but they keep finding it odd how well they know how to do their job, making them question if they knew how to do it before hand.
The ongoing problem in this world is that Caine is trying to prevent abstraction, as when someone “abstracts” they need to find someone to fill in that role. Caine is constantly making all the “employees” go on adventures/job conquests that require them to work together.
In short, it’s a AU where the TADC cast enter a Career Simulation. They each have a job that fits them, either because they had that job before or because they would be good at it. None of them know why they have to do these jobs.. They still have adventures, but it seems to be somewhat realistic to actual problems (example: finding out who has been stealing money from the company, helping a particular employee with a task, even though you have no clue how to do their job, etc).

Basically a game show host but crueller. She puts you through psychological torment as a bonding exercise with your crew, and at the end you have to shoot her with a real actual gun. She is projected directly into your mind by interfacing with your nervous system and she will do something messed up. Her most recent iteration got blasted into space. Personally, I think she's lovely

TADC Theories
Caine was part of the first group that entered the Digital Circus, and had to watch his co-workers/friends go insane when they became trapped and unable to escape. Using his admin abilities he tried to keep them distracted and their spirits up by creating zany things, creatures and adventures. This has varying rates of success, but eventually the first group faded to be replaced by new ‘cast’. Not knowing what else to do, Caine continued his role of Ringmaster. This quickly became his own way to cope, especially as different people came and went, to the point where it’s all he knows how to do
The Digital Circus was originally meant to be a place for game developers to test out their ideas in VR until something went wrong
Caine is an advanced AI who was programmed to create randomly generated adventures for the players. However, he was foolish enough to play the game in VR during the most intense lightning storm seen in his area, got struck by said lightning, and was isekaed into the game itself. Now trapped in the world he used to adore, at level one no less, he would do anything to get back home, up to and including re-beating the game, no matter how strenuous running around and throwing pies at robots is in "real life". Of course, beating the game isn't going to free him from Toontown's inky clutches, but we don't have to tell him that, right? Of course not.

Professor is a machine who was built to replace employees! Well, a prototype that failed that they put to work. Her robotic-ness serves not to reduce her Just-Some-Guyness, but rather to amplify it. She logs everything that happens to her. She loves to partake in tasks and objectives. However this does not mean she is an emotionless beep-boop, but instead she has the personality of a tired but kind old lady. The kind who has an endless supply of caramels in a bowl somewhere. However she has no idea how to form her own preferences. She's factory default in everything. Plain as water. She sees the hells of being in lobcorp as normal and natural. One time she went to another branch and was absolutely delighted by a "hang in there, baby!" poster as though it was the cutest thing she's ever seen.

Mendel is, quite literally, so just some guy that I refuse to develop what he was like or what his name was pre-isekae, because his past is literally so generic and unimportant. He was NPC-core. He was nothingburger. His only friend is a 17-year-old who physically cannot stop themself from stealing things. Even now his only hobby is playing video games all day. He almost died a few days after being isekaed because he didn't want to leave his house. He's scared to walk around because he thinks the robots will shoot him point-blank just for being near them. I want to grab him and spin him around like that gif of a chimpanzee. He's even a furry.

Wolf Bete watched completely stunned as Jaune took off his VR Goggles, pulled a pillow out of the bottom drawer of his desk and fell asleep... in the span of less than a minute.
Wolf Bete: This is bullshit.
Pulling the lab coat tighter about his/her body, Wolf Bete idly started to look about the lab. Multiple monitors and screens showed stats, and had lines of code rolling past. Some even appeared to be possibly showing vitals. Which surprised Wolf a little bit. He/she was under the assumption that only they had been in the body building stage... but apparently that was not the case.
Standing up and making a considerable effort to insure the lab coat stayed closed, Wolf Bete started to walk about. Bare feet made slapping noises as they moved along the cold tiled floor. Carrying Wolf Bete along the wall of monitors and view screens, until he./she came to stop next to the only other desk in the fairly expansive room. Sitting upon it were several tablets, almost as if they had been tossed there out of annoyance. Picking one up, Wolf Bete started to read.
Wolf Bete: Hydra...hmm... regenerating grimm... hmm... eight heads... hmm... venom breath... that's so cool!
Wolf Bete lowered the tablet and gave the sleeping form of Jaune a glare.
Jaune: I can feel you starting at me. Stop it.
Wolf Bete: How could you?
Jaune: How could I what?
Wolf Bete: I'm not even done with quality control, and you're already making another... plus, this one has so many awesome powers! Regeneration, multiple heads... venom breath! Where's my special powers?
Jaune: Keep reading... and you do have powers.
Wolf Bete: But not venom breath!
Jaune: Keep reading, and do it quietly... I need sleepy-time.
Wolf turned his/her attention from the grumbling form of Jaune, who during the whole conversation hadn't once lifted his head from his pillow, and continued to read.
Wolf Bete: WHAT!?! How can you be a hydra with only one extra head? No Venom breath? No regeneration? What the hell! This is nothing like the first page!
Jaune: It's sleepy-time. Keep it down.
Wolf Bete: Seriously, dude, how could you let...
Jaune: (shooting Wolf Bete a glare from his pillow) I didn't let anything happen. I was out voted and my budget was cut.
Wolf Bete: Still...
Jaune: Still nothing. I do the best I can with what I have. If the BoD wants to yank two thirds of my proposed budget away from the development of a monster and... and... and...

Wolf Bete sets down the tablet and turned his/her head away as Jaune starts bawling into his pillow, sobbing and choking about how he only needs one employee just to help out... just one.
Wolf Bete: Gee dude, get a gr...

Wolf Bete: What the hell is that?
Jaune: Crap, crap, crap!
Wolf watches as Jaune knocks his pillow aside and slaps on his VR goggles, before starting to type madly at his keyboard.
Jaune: Not good. Not good!
Wolf Bete: What's going on?
PA: Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!
Jaune: Shit! Shit! Shit! Fuck! Shit!
Wolf Bete: Jaune!
Jaune: Activate your armour! Someone has gotten into the lab facility! I'm activating the automated defence systems...
Wolf froze for a second and the frowned. Why was he/she naked if she/he had armour they could activate?
Wolf Bete: When were you going to tell me about the armour thing? Like I’ve been standing around basically naked and this whole time I could have been wearing something aside from your stinky lab coat?
Jaune: I don’t smell, and I’m tired, okay! Really… exhausted! So EXCUSE ME for forgetting something!
Wolf Bete: Take a chill dude! I was just asking!
PA: Automated Defences offline.
Jaune: Crap! Crap! Crap! This is SO coming out of my budget!
Wolf Bete: Seriously?
Jaune: Forget it, just forget I said anything. Are you ready?
Wolf takes a moment and thinks, instantly understanding how to activate their armour. A second later they were sporting bone white plated over their chest, waist, hips and upper thighs… the entire ensemble comparable to someone wearing a sports-top and biking-shorts, with matching armour plates on his/her forearms and shins.
Wolf Bete: Ready!
Jaune: Good! (Stands up and heads for the door.) Let’s go! We need to stop whoever this is!
Wolf Bete: You’re coming?
Jaune: Well duh. I need to observe you… make sure everything is working properly.
Wolf Bete: So you’re not going to help?
Jaune: I’m a listed non-combatant… so I can’t.
Wolf Bete: What if I start to lose? You mean you can’t even help me then?
Jaune: Not officially…
Wolf Bete: How about Unofficially?
Jaune: What are you worried about? You’re the best, most sophisticated monster I’ve ever made… so far.
Wolf Bete: That makes me… heh! What was that?
Jaune: What was what?
Wolf Bete: I’m the best you made… SO FAR? What is that suppose to mean? Like that is totally a motivation killer dude!
Jaune: It’s the truth! You’re the pinnacle of my work… but my work is always evolving! I’m always striving to be better.
Wolf Bete: So what happens to me when one of these ‘BETTER’ creations shows up? Do I get tossed by the wayside?
Jaune: No!
Wolf Bete: Then what happens? What happened to your other creations? Tell me that!
Jaune: They were retried and got office jobs at Head Office!
Wolf Bete: So you will… wait what? Did you say they have office jobs? What type of office job can a monster do?
Jaune: Well… I… um… well…
Wolf Bete: That was a lie! They’ll destroy me when you make my replacement!
Jaune: No they won’t!
Wolf Bete: How do you know? Where are your other creations?
PA: Intruder in sublevel three.
Jaune: There are none, okay? You’re my first!
Wolf Bete: Huh? How is that possible? Like… huh?
Jaune: I JUST finished my degree, and everything up until you have been theoretical prototypes… you’re my first design that the BoD has ever approved for actual production!
Wolf Bete: I’m the first? I…
Jaune: Yes, you are now… I need you to do your thing and get rid of our intru…
The sound of groaning and creaking metal caused both Jaune and Wolf to turn towards the locked steel door of the lab. A black glow surrounded the door, and the pair watched in amazement as the door buckled outward and then folded itself in half, before falling to the floor useless.
Jaune/Wolf Bete: Holy shi…
????: This is the end of the line Inner Circle! I’m going to shut down this vile hive of evil and villany!
Jaune: No…
Wolf Bete: Is that?
Jaune: Yes…
The pair watched as an armoured female figure stepped over the ruined remains of the door. Her bodysuit was a bright crimson red that matched her flowing hair. The metal plates of her armour, a golden bronze. Her facial features were hidden behind some sort of mask that covered her face, yet left her hair unhindered.
Jaune/Wolf Bete: The Red Huntress.
RH: Surrender and I will make sure the Vale Authority show you leniency, evildoers!
Wolf Bete: (Looking at Jaune) Did she just say evildoers?
Jaune: (Looking at Wolf) Yes.
Wolf Bete: I’ve just been born, and even I know that is lame.
RH: It is not lame! It’s heroic! Now enough! Surrender!
Jaune: You got this, Wolfie.
Wolf Bete: (Giving the Red Huntress a very toothy grin) Yeah, I do!
Wolf was a blur as they shot forward, closing on the Red Huntress in fractions of seconds. His/Her hands and forearms turning black and becoming wickedly curved and sharp claws. A shield of shining bronze appeared from nowhere, intercepting the attack, but the power behind the strike was enough to drive the Red Huntress back and into the far wall of the corridor.
RH: This monster is strong… I will have to be… huh?
Wolf Bete: That’s right, Red Huntress! I’ve got your number, and after I’m done beating you down, they’ll have to give me my new body!
RH: This is SO WRONG! I knew the Inner Circle were fiends… but… but this!
Wolf Bete: What’s wrong? Don’t tell me you’re…. HEY!
RH: (Booking it up the hall and away from the lab.) FILTH! SMUT! MY VIRGIN EYES!
Wolf Bete: You better run! I’m going to…
Jaune: Wolfie!
Wolf Bete: WHAT!
Jaune: (Turns his head, his face flushed red.) Put on the lab coat.
Wolf Bete: Why? I have my armour on!

Tales From The Pizzaplex Story Preview (Five Nights at Freddy's: Obsolete)
As I had announced in my previous post, I will be adapting certain stories from Tales From The Pizzaplex, and I had decided to write out the previews for each story. As I had said before, the stories won't be adapted word-for-word, but will be referenced to an extent or have elements from them picked out and arranged to fit better The Untold Story canon.
Note, the previews are not listed in chronological order.
#1: Lally's Game: Story #3: Under Construction
When Fazbear Entertainment attempts to attract new patrons with their AR Dome attraction, only to disappoint them by keeping it ''Under Construction'' for far longer than it should be. Sam decides to investigate the issue, only to learn that someone is already inside the AR Dome.
#2: Happs: Story #1: Help Wanted
When Matt brings up the existence of the Five Nights at Freddy's video games and their lore, everyone begins to question how a random game developer would have access to such information.
#2: Happs: Story #2: HAPPS
Happs, a new animatronic built to assist the Daycare Attendant, ends up seemingly missing somewhere within the inside playground. When Sam and Springtrap decide to find him, they are met with a grisly discovery.
#3: Somniphobia: Story #2: Pressure
After finding a spare springlock suit at the Urban Legends Role Play Auditorium, Springtrap decides to investigate the matter. His investigation leads him to a suspicious Pizzaplex employee who seems to have a concerning interest in the children that visit the attraction.
#4: Submechanophobia: Story #2: Animatronic Apocalypse
Sam and Matt get invited to the Fazbear Fan Club, a club in their high school whose members are dedicated to solve the mysterious and complex lore behind the Five Nights at Freddy's video games. While Sam refuses, Matt accepts, curious about their activities. What starts as a fun game suddenly comes to a grim conclusion when some club members want to have a real FNaF experience.
#5: The Bobbiedots Conclusion: Story #1: GGY
When Sammy comes across several arcades that have an unusually high score, he decides to investigate the player behind those scores, GGY. However, as Sammy, Michael and Elizabeth attempt to learn more about GGY, they make a very disturbing discovery. Who is GGY and why does everyone involved with him disappear without a trace?
#5: The Bobbiedots Conclusion: Story #2: The Storyteller
When Fazbear Entertainment decides to take shortcuts with its creative development by using an artificial intelligence, The Storyteller, as a new form of entertainment, Vanessa and Glitchtrap take advantage of the new system set up gain control over the whole Mega Pizzaplex.
#6: Nexie: Story #1: Nexie
When a series of glitches almost causes a full shutdown of the Mega Pizzaplex, Sam is forced to work overtime to ensure that the animatronics work properly. However, when she discovers that someone has been sneaking around the Buddytronics Boutique, the situation quickly becomes a race to save a little girl from her Buddytronic friend.
#6: Nexie: Story #2: Drowning
One should not dwell in the virtual reality for too long, or else they might become permanently trapped. When Michael loses sight of his siblings during a game of hide-and-seek, he comes across a VR attraction that has already claimed one victim. Will he become the next one?
#6: Nexie: Story #3: The Mimic
Sam and Matt learn that Hurricane is once again plagued by a string of mysterious murders, with the murderer preferring to tear apart its victim's limbs and hiding its identity inside mascot costumes. At the same time, Springtrap comes across an old man, Edwin Murray, who seeks to redemption for the mistakes he committed in the past, unaware of the connection he might have with the former co-owner of the Fazbear Franchise.
#7: Tiger Rock: Story #1: Tiger Rock
Relieved to see that The Storyteller being taken down, but also aware of the possible damages, Sam attempts to focus on her work, when another accident involving a white tiger with a green and blue eye inside the VR booth happens. Fearing that Glitchtrap has already spread his influence, Sam goes on to confront the animatronic known as Tiger Rock.
#7: Tiger Rock: Story #2: The Monty Within
After being convinced by her friend Cassie to go on another date, Emma picks the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, her daughter's workplace. During a game of Fazcade Tag-Team, her date starts acting erratically, with Emma ending it then and there. However, she soon finds herself dealing with stalker who is obsessed with her and has a familiar red mohawk hairstyle.
#8: B7-2: Story #2: Alone Together
Sam has never minded her involvement with the supernatural, not even when she had to deal with the children from the infamous Missing Children Incident. However, it is a completely different matter when the spirit in question doesn't even know that he is dead. Even after offering him her help, things don't go as planned. Also, what are those entities that are stalking the corridors of the Pizzaplex?
#8: B7-2: Story #3 Dittophobia
Hell is not a place, but a state of mind and varies from person to person. For Elizabeth, it is her death at Circus Baby's hands and desire to make her father proud. For Sammy, it is his battle with the Nightmare Animatronics and death within Fredbear's jaws. For Michael, it is the destruction of his family and the guilt he carried for years. For William, it is the inevitable confrontation with himself and the repetition of his past mistakes. When they realize that the past is repeating itself, they are forced to make a stand.
