Hey so, what the fuck is up with Shilo and Emizel?

Like yeah, they're brothers. Confirmed twins by Condi. How???

It's been made pretty clear that Shilo is half human, or at least in those kinds of vibes. There is never once a mention of his turning, he seems pretty clueless on humans, he has aged to his current age. But then he can also somewhat digest food, and his aura looks like a human aura. Yeah, that's all good, checks out.

What about Emizel? It is very hinted at, if not stated that Jeffrey is not his real father, but that he found or adopted him when he was still a baby. If Emizel is half vampire like Shilo, wouldn't he show that? He would, yeah, at least a bit. But he hasn't.

Even if takes more human traits, like Shilo takes more vampires traits. But he hasn't. There are no vampire traits. He's not faster, not stronger, doesn't have enhanced senses. I'm sure he would've noticed by now if he could do some mind shit or thought that blood looked particularily yummy. Even appearance wise, while we don't know exactly what he looked like, it is said that he is going through the vampire transition, becoming paler, getting fangs, pointy ears, red eyes. That is changing, he did not have that before. He looked like a human, he acted like a human.

The only time when he's human that he acts vampiric is when they say that "in the streetlight, it's almost like your eyes glow red" (not a direct quote, AT ALL, pulled from my ass and memore) but that is in reference to the all of the Demons. The whole gang have symbolism in their eyes.

The other time is when Emizel has been bitten and has the urge to bite his soon-to-be-sire back. There is something urging him to bite the guy. But that isn't necessarily a vampire thing. Vampires don't really bite other vampires. And for all we know, maybe there's some dying instinct that recognizes that vampire blood could save your life if you've been bitten. Or hell, Emizel just seems like he's kinda just like that. It does not seem out of character for his last dying action to be to bite someone.

So like, wtf? Why is Shilo half vampire and Emizel not?

I still think that the queen is their mom. I don't think she'd give a shit about Shilo if he weren't her son. And Emizel seems like the one she's keeping tabs on.

So here's my Lil theory. It was mentioned that vampires could briefly turn humans to eat shit. Now I don't know the vampire masquerade mechanics or shit, but it seems to me like maybe that could aply to more than just eating food. So like, maybe miss Queen Vampire wanted a night on the town, or hell, maybe she wanted a kid. So she got it on with some human, maybe Jeffrey, maybe not.

Gurl gets pregnant, but oops, it's twins. And when they're born, after a bit it's achingly clear one of them is more human than the other. Turns out, maybe doing the do while human fucked shit up a bit, so while the kids could carry vampire genes, they also could not at all. In fact it was probably more likely for the kid to not be a vampire at all.

So now her Majesty has two sons. One who looks like a vampire, one who doesn't. She's worried about both of them because they are at the very least half human and humans tend to die easily. She says "Hey, I'll give it time, maybe Emizel will just take time to be more vampire like, it's possible it's not an instantaneous thing"

She waits. Shilo is clearly a vampire. He drinks blood, he has little fangs, his eyes are red. Emizel, decidedly does and is not. After a few months, it becomes clear that Emizel is not a vampire. Fuck. What do they do?

Her council (or whatever the fuck they are) suggest to just kill Emizel, he's human, besides she already has one son, why need another? Miss Her Majesty is like "I dealt with too much morning sickness to get kill this kid". So maybe out of suggestion of the council, maybe out of fear for his life, she decides to ship baby Emizel off the LA without telling anyone. There he can grow up with humans and live a human life and not be as in danger as in the castle. Besides, she can just keep tabs on him so that if he does end up being half vampire she can scoop him up and plop him with his brother.

At least that's what I think. It's possible that Emizel is just built different.

Joel sets some extra things in his inventory into a chest. He takes a deep breath, setting his hand on top of the lid before closing it. Turning to his newly red named partner, he leans against the chest. His eyes trail over to the other, watching the way Grian rifles through his chests without a care in the world.

"Grian." He says, crossing his arms.

"Hmm? Hang on." Grian pokes his head out of the chest, meeting Joel's eyes. His eyes are a burning red, a brightly lit flame swirls within them. It's almost intimidating, as he remembers just how ruthless the other was back in the desert. And he hadn't even been red at that point. Not that Joel will ever tell him. He doesn't need Grian getting a bigger ego.

"You're going to team with me, right?" Joel questions, staring right into the man's eyes.

Grian lifts a brow, "What kind of question is that?"

Joel takes a step toward him, "Just answer it." He knows he doesn't have to point out the obvious to Grian. That they could make the server burn together, that they'd be an incredibly dangerous pair. That they could make it to the end together.

Grian studies Joel for a moment, a blank expression on his face. Joel can never fully tell what he's feeling or thinking. Maybe that's what makes him such a dangerous enemy and an even better ally.

A smile breaks out on Grian's face, "Yes Joel, I'm going to team with you." He says, shrugging his shoulders. "It's not like I really have any other options at the moment. Can't go back to the Southlands."

"That's right. You can't." Joel responds, maybe a little too quickly, a little too casually. Grian doesn't seem to mind it. But even still -- "I'm trusting you. Don't make me regret it."

And Grian? Well, he chuckles softly and steps into Joel's space. He presses against him, leaning up to brush his lips against his jaw, "Wouldn't dream of it."

angels and demons don't kiss. it's just not a thing they do. not something that comes naturally. like yeah they probably can and do fall in love and stuff but that's totally not how they'd express it. no idea what other crazy stuff they might get up to but not kissing. it's just a weird thing that humans do, but totally beneath them (at least heaven thinks that way).

it's the same with how they view food, really. why do it, it's just gross? sullying the temple of your celestial body, or whatever. why do it when they don't need to?

heaven and hell don't get the meaning of food, though, the symbolism. they don't get that it's something far more than just fuel for our bodies. that there's thoughts and emotions and social things that come with it. that it has a meaning, it has purpose. a very human purpose.

they don't get the meaning behind human things. they don't get our thoughts or interactions or all the little routines and rituals that come with our everyday things. they don't understand human emotions or their significance. they just don't get us. and it's not like they really try to, either.

I’m thinking about Keralis and Ren in HC9. 

Them finding having a close friend and business partner in the other, camping and host meetings over braai. The nights spent getting Gigalogs ready. And sure as time goes on Keralis see’s Rendog less and less, but that’s just because he lives far away, they still care.

RenTheDog becomes a king yet Keralis and RenTheKing still seem to still have very good relations. The power dynamic is never really brought up. 

So his rule is left untouched, not really talked about. 

Even as coups are planned and nations are made Keralis still finds himself unsure where his place is in all of this, perhaps no place at all..

Ren still remembers the party though. The party that Keralis thought nothing really of it. After all most if not all of the king’s court was there so no one should get punished right?. But then Scar shows up and takes his head, betrayal to one, retaliation for a betrayal to the other. 

The money dries up too, and it’s degreed he’s not allowed to mine anymore. Something he sees right after his mining competition with lovely xBCrafted. What he sees as fake money is diluting the system. 

So Keralis is left making a bitter choice.

I think their dynamis is so fun, it's so dumb but also had their circumstances been different they would've been the best worst friends <3 they complement each other well enough but because they are the antagonist they couldn't shine enough, I really wish we could've had more moments with them together, even in a non ship way, they are so fun to put in situations together.

I'm terrible with words and explaining myself but there's something so special on these two villain guys teaming up and then, you look deeper and notice there are so many things in common between them, specially on the other side of the coin, with citron there's so much similar trauma and experiences that it hurts just so right but the bonding is so relieving, wtf, if you were to look inside my brain to the part that's is invaded by ygo, you mostly will see these two, they don't live rent free in my head they own a house with two cats

I could go on longer with these two honestly, I've already talked a lot about them with friends and I'm still not tired of talking about them 🛐🛐🛐 they are just so funny and i enjoy whatever issue they share together... AND THEIR DESIGNS!!! so simple yet so memorable, purple and blue combo 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 my favorite combo, they really just have everything for me, I need them to kiss but also to go on a painful slowburn

the only info about them i can give is about the weird magic thing going on(includes some mentions of blood/vomiting/losing teeth). basically:

regular human person(reminder that yeah they're supposed to be human but i fucking hate drawing humans so i draw them and my other sillies as cats) gets a weird ancient magic artifact from an estate sale type thing(they did not know what it was. probably just looked like a cool rock or smth). said artifact basically kind of holds the soul/power of some old fucker who was kind of evil and also super powerful. the magic stuff kinda rubs off on them/gets connected to them somehow and at some point they get more directly(and painfully) exposed to magic, which essentially triggers some shit and the power from the artifact gets shot into them. and because they are normal human that has not been around magic for very long, the sheer amount of magic power from that nearly kills them and also did some funky stuff physically(some of their teeth fell out and grew back sharp, senses heightened a little bit. bonus thing about the teeth is that any more teeth they may happen to lose in the future will also grow back sharp. smile). the almost dying mostly involved agony and coughing up a lot of blood+bleeding nose. it was very very messy lmao. but they got stabilized and are fine now. mostly. so basically they have magic that they were never really supposed to have, and since their body was not built for magic they get real bad migraines a lot. and if they try to use the magic, depending on what they try to do, they will get worse migraines, bloody nose, and/or throwing up blood. so yeah. weird magic thing :p i havent really decided exactly what things the magic is capable of but healing is definitely one of them. also if they were to die from overuse of magics there is a chance that their body could be possessed by the ancient whoever-the-fuck
