Sega Saturn - Command & Conquer
Title: Command & Conquer / コマンド&コンカー
Developer: Westwood Studios
Publisher: Sega
Release date: 25 April 1997
Catalogue No.: GS-9131
Genre: Real-Time Strategy Simulation
One of the biggest PC games for its time hit the Saturn in a remarkably good conversion. Saturn Command & Conquer comes on two discs, being the GDI (Global Defense Initiative) disc and the NOD (Brotherhood of Nod) disc. So, you can play whatever unit suits you. Unfortunately, I've not had a lot of time to get into this game, so I have no idea how it is to play but going from the reviews it got when it was released back in 1996, I'd say it's a must-buy if you are into these sorts of games. Besides, there's not much else on the Saturn like this.

No matter how many new Monopoly apps they make for ios, android, or html5, Westwood’s Monopoly will always be my favorite. I think it’s the old midi music and 90s cg cutscenes that do it for me.
Or maybe it’s just the soundtrack. It’s got such a chill jazzy soundtrack. 🥰

While I think the 2021 Dune was a better adaptation of the book, I do appreciate a lot of the "weirdness for weirdness' sake" imagery of the Lynch and Westwood versions.
That there might not be sapient aliens in this universe, but Deep Future humanity is as different from us as your average space opera alien would be.

Sega Mega Drive - The Lion King
Title: The Lion King / ライオンキング
Developer: Westwood Studios / Disney Software / Krisalis Software
Publisher: Virgin Interactive Entertainment
Release date: 9 December 1994
Catalogue No.: T-70083
Genre: Platform Action
We all know that the Super Famicom / Super Nintendo version of The Lion King wins hands down thanks to its amazing soundtrack and much better color pallet and those who disagree are blind fanboy fools. Anyway, how good is the Mega Drive version? Well, the great news is that it still looks fantastic in the animation department even if the backgrounds are a little more basic-looking compared to the SFC / SNES version.
Mega Drive Lion King also plays extremely well. Simba's young and adult versions control ever so well going where you put them with pinpoint accuracy. The only real downer is the audio. While the Mega Drive tries hard and actually does a decent job at replicating the movie's musical scores it does come over as a bit, err...... cheap unlike the musical score in Aladdin which blew away Capcom's poor effort on the SFC / SNES. (Mind you, this game does not use GEMS. This actually uses the sound driver provided by Krisalis Software that is also present in games like the Mega Drive port of G-LOC, Mickey Mania, and Mortal Kombat - not to mention Bram Stoker's Dracula.)
Although I'm comparing this to the SFC / SNES version I can honestly say as a Mega Drive platformer you can't get much better. Addictive, challenging (if not a little too hard in places) game that you really should consider adding to your collection.
