Can you keep the volume down. Can you get me some water and my sunglasses from the glovebox.'#and of course the incredible wham line of 'Xue Yang Must Die.'#'Is YX irredeemable? I'm pro 'everyone is capable of change and deserves a chance.' So Im of the camp of 'if he had the opportunity...maybe#The issue is that this setting has no structure to provide those opportunities. You are perceived as a threat therefor you must die#XY is a very interesting parallel to the YLLZ because they both meet the same fate: outsiders determining that they need to be killed#plus both did war crimes. I know it's easy to forget the YLLZ actually did do some of the things he was accused of (most wrong)#but wwx also has blood on his hands. He also sought revenge in pretty twisted ways. Both were given opportunities to step away and refused#The difference is that we empathize with and like XXC & SL and A-Qing. The Narrative says they were wronged and that is an injustice.'

There's something about like. A certain genre of posts / Online Opinions about insecurity/depression/misery/complaints that are so unhelpful that they wrap right around to being straight up hilarious.
and it's the ones that are more or less written to the tone of "Feeling bad? That's gross!"
Like, just so you know, don't voice your insecurities/ have low self esteem, because that's offputting! You're gross and weird. Don't be insecure about that, though. That would be stupid if you felt insecure about people disliking you for being insecure. Not attractive. You should be thinking about being as attractive as possible.
You shouldn't make comments about suicide, even if you're suicidal! Keep those thoughts entirely to yourself. Make sure nobody around you knows you're thinking about this. It would Make Them Uncomfortable. It's better to keep these thoughts in your head where they can fester.
Don't post OR talk to friends with complaints about you feeling miserable or depressed. Tbh people who are sad/upset a lot? Kinda a red flag! You are probably miserable because you're a bad person and you've brought this on yourself. If you don't have friends, it's because you're awful to be around. Easy! Solved the problem for you. And no, there is no nuance to this, got it?
So, make sure to feel bad about feeling bad, but don't feel bad about it, because, well, that's just gross. And annoying! You might've wanted your brain rotted thoughts to be Peer Reviewed, you might have just needed to vent- you might've been hoping for some comfort, to get things off your chest. Well, don't! Getting to live my dream next week of doing a ceilidh where I pick all the dances and it's VERY exciting i ADORE a good dance

Though I have threads/asks to get to, I'm curious if one of these would catch anyone's attention. I know sending in sentence starters isn't always up everyone's alley and it's a little harder when it comes to interacting with a character who's canonically dead in present day, like mine. Although (I need to write up the details for the first iteration of it) I do have her resurrected in a present timeline (see tags). Trust me when I say, if we're mutuals, I'm interested in writing with you. See this as a little cheat to grab my attention if you want it!
#[ so i've simply been dying to get her in a modern setting /without/ changing the course of events. ]#[ so while i need to refine the details and the circumstances may differ down the line-- it won't affect interact with most of you-- ]#[ as i heavily tie guizhong to the moon/night due to too many references to it in her attire and symbolisms alike... ]#[ and also to the chasm and its origins-- that's a whole other hc. ]#[ i've decided the first iteration of resurrecting her to simply be based within the concept that the gods never quite die... ]#[ because the elements that they're tied to never do either. they're not 'personifications' by any means-- but they're a part of. ]#[ they can manifest into a corporeal form and in the same way; that form can be broken and destroyed. ]#[ and it weakens them immensely; a much more severe form of osial being 'restrained'/locked away for thousands of years. ]#[ i envision that they can't simply reform. but they could over-time. or at least when 'stars align' of sorts. ]#[ when their element is at its strongest and can gather elemental energy from /somewhere/. ]#[ so /after/ the events of the game thus far-- during moonchase; on the night when the moon is at its fullest... ]#[ and at its apex. it's shining less brightly than it normally is-- and it's because it's being used as a battery of sorts. ]#[ you know all of the dust above cuejiue slope? that cloud of dust moves towards the cliff by the harbor-- by that sole glaze lily. ]#[ and dust from across liyue and possibly even teyvat-- slowly gathers. it would look like a shadow from afar. ]#[ and it gathers and along with the energy that the moon supplies that night; when everything falls into place... ]#[ it allows her to regain her corporeal form as it existed prior. ]#[ this is after 'rex lapis' has stepped down and retreats from his position as archon of liyue. ]#[ she doesn't step in by any means whatsoever-- her re-manifestation is actually (in my verse) witnessed by him from afar. ]#[ and then witnesses it up close as she finally forms after a long time of this process. ]#[ she wouldn't go by 'guizhong' except by adepti who remember; but she might go by haagentus. at least initially. ]#[ /breathes. hi. hello. i'm sae and i'm a mess of an individual-- pls come here and don't leave me despite it. ]#[ ooc. ] wherever her spirit may be among the countless grains of sand and specks of dust between the harbor and the mountains…

#i talk#this goes out to the ipad babies whos never stepped into a toys r us &only exposure to toys is 24 hours of garten of banban youtube videos#dont even know if toys r us is still holding up . those things used to be packed. my only recent memory now is one of them shutting down#dont know!! i have alot of thoughts on mascot horror. its just a shame recent developments seem like theyre going nowhere with the genre#i still think it could be good. most is just evil factory but i think thats nobodys fault. websites just push that content more than others#its such a common setting and plot it loses the suprise & the contrast of twisting nostalgia into something scary had#from how much recent titles always use the same formula with little to no changes. youll know what to expect#its diluted... but i really dont blame any developers for it. well. if nothing else One Person in the medical field has decided i fall in line with enough symptoms to confidently talk about what she thinks it probably aligns with. There's still things I gotta do in order to keep ruling things out, but... I don't know... I have hope? which is weird to come out with after a diagnosis of something that's symptom-management only but like. yeah i might have this forever but also I know what it is.
#the fact that my family abhors a doctor and medical discussions has been a pretty big hindrance tbh#like... i feel like there's probably Symptoms Galore in those bitches#but my family lives in a whole different universe where all the shit i've been going through my whole life is Perfectly Normal#and told me to Stop Complaining enough times that I just assumed they were right#and it turns out the things i am going through are in fact Not Normal#and now there's steps being taken to help me figure out what might work best for me#oh but yeah anyway if you're reading this far down 1) you're a trooper and 2) yeah rheumatology says it's most likely fibromyalgia#plus hypermobility which we're double checking to make sure my heart is Fine and doesn't have connective tissue issues alongside it#anyway like i said i have next steps#and one of them is calling to set up an EKG so we can make sure my heart looks the way it ought to

I'm just constantly on my bullshit these days. brain said fuck you feel everything and think about everything
#nerd alert#i feel like im going thru my midlife crisis early#im 28 years old thinking 'i need to get in better shape so i dont get all run down as i age'#like damn i should get on a workout machine so i can both get swole and also so i dont like. idk end up using a walker at 50#my dad had really bad knees and had at least one knee replacement probably both bc of his 30yrs of factory jobs lifestyle#and because one time he had to snatch his step-grandson out of the path of a moving vehicle and fell hard on his knee when he did#and also probably my insistence on riding around on his back like a pony when i was like 3. i have vague memories of that#sorry dad#anyway i dont have a factory job or kids but i probably will end up diabetic and i just. wanna keep my physical health as long as i can#im like lowkey paranoid about death and it would be cool to worry less about my body breaking down through my own negligence#ik disability can happen to anyone for any reason but i wanna do what i can to keep myself able-bodied#like if i become physically disabled then i become physically disabled but i dont want it to be something that i couldve prevented#just by being less negligent of my own health#that said. i just need a whole new set of teeth like at this point it feels like thats inevitable

jonjay is very hallmark-esque in the sense that jay would move to a small countryside town to find himself and he hates it at first because this town has nothing but the sweet farmer boy takes him under his wing and shows him the beauty of slow living with bonus points for a scene where jon is like "i hope you choose this place. i hope you choose us" and timber is very rom-com coded in the sense that they would have a big blowout fight where they both storm out of the apartment, complete with a "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, THAT'S WHY!" before running back to each other and kissing in the rain
