A lot of my colleagues comment on how good my Japanese is because I can use interjections pretty well despite the fact my actual speaking is garbage. I always know when to say "えっ" and "やばい" and "え〜そうなの" and "いえいえいえ" and "そっか" and "そうだね" and every single time they're like "wow! You're like a native speaker!" and I'm like okay but I can't form an actual sentence that's more than 4 words long and if you make me use grammar my brain will catch fire

So funny story one of my co-workers was looking at my art blog and he saw my wangxian art and asked "oh I recognize this, these are those guys who eat cornettos, right?" and I was so taken aback at how this guy was confusing historical Chinese Danmei characters for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost before I finally remembered that the animated MDZS had those wackass product placement ads where they eat ice cream. The fact that... THATS what he considers most notable about MDZS.... This happened like 2 weeks ago and I think about it every single day, new AU proposal.

Hiii I’ve been gone for a few days cuz I haven’t been feeling that great and I’ll probably still be gone for a little bit BUT I scribbled this up this morning on my school computer and thought it was cute enough to share :)

— u only see me outside after dark like some blinged out half-lucid werewolf

— during the day, imagine brittany murphy’s apartment in uptown girls—that’s where i am, there’s thousands of dollars worth of shoes scattered across the ground and it’s dark except for some pink electric tea lights and a vanilla bean candle

— i’m laying in my bed in a fuzzy coat with a lollipop in my mouth live blogging every moment of my day and eating sushi with stainless steel chopsticks and watching a trashy Cameron Diaz romcom on a TV the size of a fridge

— after dark is when shit gets real and u can’t ever find me on purpose, no one knows where i was until it gets posted about the next morning

— i’m mysterious but sometimes i’m seen out with an actor like ******** ***** though i’m basically ignoring him even tho we show up together, the week after i’m seen out with the actor that plays his dad on TV and i’m hanging alllll over him (not tasteful, but very pretty)

— i take one pic all night and all the comments are like “sis was GONE” and like “is anybody home” bc true i’m soooo nonchalant i don’t even look awake

— i still don’t leave with anybody. i’m up at the DJ stand at one point but then i just disappear (back doors are your best friend babes)

— my friend that i probably also have a crush on is driving me home and we have the convertible top down while we play trashy music that’s fully giving me a headache but i’m still laughing

— i get home. i collapse face down on the couch and snoooooze to start it all again tomorrow

— everyone following me is blowing me up about being seen with a 40 year old but i wake up and post a meme about how “smoothies r life 😋” or some stupid shit and never acknowledge it

— he’s coming to my apartment though HELLOOOOO

that means so much to me you have no idea! I know I only ramble about Kunikida endlessly but that's because I find him super interesting and he means the most to me. But I'm so very thankful you appreciate my insane ramblings.

You should totally check out @kunikiiida-kuuun , @benetnvsch , @riolone-moon , @psylunari , and @tunamayuuu to name a few if you haven't already. BSD tumblr is a very chill place at least compared to the other sides of the BSD fandom, there are so many amazing and talented people here <3

Another fun story from hs German class

First day, the teacher was going over some general rules and stuff. It was popular in my school that to get a class to quiet down one student would raise their hand, then another and another until everyone was silently raising there hands.

“You CANNOT do that” he said. “I don’t want the Dean or someone walking in to A BUNCH OF KIDS RAISING THEIR HANDS WITH A GERMAN FLAG HANGING IN THE BACK OF THE ROOM”

He was my favorite teacher tbh. Hope he’s doing well after 15 years.

I'm currently unsure whether I should be happy or stressed about the fact that there are only like 5 more weeks until the end of the semester - on one hand the summer holidays can't arrive fast enough so I can rest and have free time again but on the other hand there's still so much to finish within that time frame and ugh I'm just tired😵‍💫

At least today (or more like yesterday by the time I post this) I had a fun day, I went to a wildlife park with friends (a trip we've had planned since a couple weeks already), I'm sure I haven't been to the place in like a decade but it was really fun! I didn't think to take a lot of pictures of the animals, but here's a plush trout I got at the souvenir shop🐟
