Website Update and Announcement For Major Project

Our website, The Chimeras Library, has been updated.

Changes include:

An Updated "Symbols Found In The Alterhuman Communities" which now includes the symbols for endels, archetropes, and conceptkin!

An overhauled "A Deeper Look Into Cladotherianthropy."

Added a Spanish translation of  "A Timeline of the Therianthrope Community." Translated by the alterhuman aike.

Added a Spanish translation of "A Timeline of the Fictionkin Community." Translated by the alterhuman aike.

Added a Spanish translation of "A Timeline of the Alterhuman Community." Translated by the alterhuman aike.

Added a Spanish translation of "A Timeline of Plant-Identified People in the Otherkin Communities." Translated by the alterhuman aike.

We're also happy to announce a major project we hope to be sharing in the near future.

The Chimeras Archive.

The Chimeras Archive will consist of an ever updating link to a Zotero account hosting citations for the over 500 items of various media related to the alterhuman community, mentioning alterhumans, or of interest to alerhumanity.

Categories that will be included: academic books, dissertations, journal articles, academic lectures, theses, non-academic books, documentaries, lecture or convention panels, magazine articles, zines, TV broadcasts, newspaper articles, radio broadcasts, podcasts, novels, comics, games, movies, plays, and more.

The Chimeras Archive is an updated version of a project we have been working on for the past decade. We are committed to collecting materials as they relate to alterhuman and sharing their existence with others. This includes not only collecting the citations of these many different kinds of media but also acquiring physical/digital copies of these materials.

Unlike our other projects which have designated versions published in pdf form. Our plan is to instead run a live and updating Zotero listing and a document where the same information will be listed in written form.

As this is a massive overhaul of our existing project, the completion into these two formats is taking a significant amount of time please see our "Academic Publications, Non-Academic Publications, Media, Art, and Fiction Related To Nonhumanity" for the previous rendition of this project in the mean time. We plan on releasing links to our Zotero and the live document in the near future once we have had a chance to better layout the groundwork for them.

Hi website update

Hi i hope everyone is ok.

I've added a new page where i have started to archive BTS_twt posts. I've completed all posts up to December 2013.

If you go on the page the date on the top of each post will take you to the actual post and if you open the page using a web browser you should be able to translate the whole page

all other pages have been updated.

So someone I use to know, @darkdraygoon, who doesn't really use Tumblr anymore, found this using their laptop. It only appears when they scrolled over that one bobble on the tree.

"I did not know what to do. I think I am correct. Is it Homewarming where you are? Happy Homewarming."

It would seem that in the neighborhood of Home, their Christmas/Yule/holiday of your choice from this time of year is called Homewarming. It's nice of Wally, or whomever. They wished us a "Happy Homewarming" but also mention 'not knowing what to do' and 'thinking they are correct'. It's also interesting to note the fact of using a created holiday for the neighborhood not only lines up with classic children's puppet shows that tried to be inclusive but seems significant in the world itself.

I feel confident in saying that it is Wally (or whomever has been speaking through the scroll-over text) and not the WHRP team as there is no new update on the corresponding page:

The most current post from WHRP is about the, at the time, upcoming Halloween update of the site.

Going all around the website I found more answers to the commands we have been receiving.

I am grouping these three together as they were very basic commands. "Write Hello" to which Wally has now written just that. "Write 'OK'." to which he has rearranged all the banners to do so. And then "Turn The Playfellow Exhibition upside down" to which the title of that page is now just that. But here is the one that has my interest the most. On Sally's page in the neighborhood we were told to "Reverse this image of Sally". But this is her page now.

We are seeing the back of the curtain, the exact thing that was behind her before. To compare:

We want to help plug the funding gap so that tomorrow’s important artists get the support they need to reach their full potential.

Our Projects

We will regularly update you with information on the arts projects we are funding from our profits. We are proud that our first project has been to sponsor the SWG3 Graduate Programme.

The SWG3 Graduate Programme is a 12-month sponsored studio residency and commissioning programme open to artists and designers each year. The programme has been running since 2005 when SWG3 and has become one of the most sought after opportunities in the UK for creatives to continue to develop their practice after higher education.

SWG3’s accessible approach to the arts, and their focus on early stage support for creative talent has enabled over 60 graduates to date to benefit from their studio programme, and go on to become established, successful practitioners.

The application process opens every September, and is available to all current year graduates and leavers from arts and creative industry practical courses who can show a studio based approach to their work, and a real commitment to their practice.

PROJECT 1

Amanda Seibæk

Amanda Seibæk is a Danish artist who works across painting and printmaking.

As a graduate of Glasgow School of Art, Seibæk works with autotheory – connecting multiple fields of knowledge, never deeming any irrelevant for her explorations. This she uses as a tool to describe turmoil in contemporary life though a more poetic lens. The subject rages from neuroscience through to mundane weekend tales told by her friends.

Materially, Seibæk connects the mediums of painting and printmaking. She sees colours in layers and with colours she shapes her figures. When connecting print and paint she tries to develop a language where print is not locked, but rather freed by the brush as a playful tool to make sense of something intuitive.

I have made a Welcome Home Archive and I’m here to give you the link to it.

For the past several days I have been working diligently between sleeping, eating, and my regular work to make this google doc ready to be released. I made this because the other sources of these links were hard to navigate and couldn’t easily be saved to refer back to later. So here is a WIP archive for the website.

Currently the completed sections are all links in the websites including secret areas, some audios and videos!

This doc also includes some observations and things to look for in certain areas (such as the little details!)

The best part is that you can comment on sections in the doc to help me add more details and make it a better archive and note system!!

While not yet completed, I am very proud of the progress I’ve made and wanted to share it with everyone I could! I hope that this system helps even some of you in keeping track of what you need to enjoy this fandom with less hassle. Enjoy!
