I feel the sun creeping on my face. I turn to face the other side but now something is tickling my face. I open my eyes and see that I'm surrounded by grass. My body aches as I rise from laying down. Then the flood of memories comes pouring in. Oh Chaos, where is Tails? 

I get up from my spot and start running around the area screaming Tails name. Chaos… Shadow why do you have to be like this? I returned back to the spot I was laying in. Shit. Shit. Shit. What the heck am I going to do? First Sonic now Tails. It just keeps getting better and better. I look at the ground and see a fresh track that can only be made by one hedgehog. I raise my head a little higher to see another mess. Broken rocks, bent trees and scattered rings all over the place. What the heck happened here? 

Then I hear an explosion coming from the distance. I turn my head to where the noise came from. I see smoke coming from….

Rouge: “Eggman's lair?”

Great. That can't mean anything good. I get out my communication device and message Knuckles and Amy. 

Please tell me you guys didn't go to Eggman's lair

No response. I’m about to call when I notice a glowing blue thing. I walk over and pick it up only to see that it is one of Sonic's blue quill's. Tails must've dropped it. I take a good look at it and see that it isn't…normal. The color looks to be…fading. Then out of nowhere the quill fades to gray and disappears. Whoa what the heck-

The ground starts shaking. An earthquake? We never get those- 

Rouge: “Whoa”

I feel dizzy and fall down on all fours. I look at my hands on the grass and see that I'm turning…gray? I feel…tired…I close my eyes and when I open them again I see myself on the beach. 

For a split second I see Sonic sitting on a rock and Shadow standing next to him. What? When did this happen? I feel the ground shaking again and I open my eyes. I'm back on the grass. Whoa that was weird. I look at my hands. Back to normal. I'm about to reach for my communication device when, again, a flood of memories comes to me. Except I don't remember any of these. The memories are of me flying and repeating the same thing. They are also of Sonic and Shadow fighting over…I don't even know.  I get my communication device from my pocket. No messages. Something is wrong. (I mean besides what just happened) Knuckles always messages me back no matter the situation he's in. I look back at the Eggman base which has smoke coming out of it. Knuckles and that brat Amy must be there. Then I look at the track. I have two choices. Go after Shadow or help the other two.

I think about these options before making my decision.

Yhhh he’s not gonna be having a good time for a while, but it isn’t all bad!

The suicide squad arc in particular is want to be partly focused on Sonic and Whisper’s friendship slowburn (the other part being Vector babysitting a bunch of fucked up teenagers, trying to keep up his cover and adopting Espio + Mimic and Whisper betrayal drama stuff)

Cuz upon meeting Sonic, the other squad members are pretty confused about why a henchman/sidekick is joining them for this, like shouldn’t they just be better off having Poison Shadow join them? Or the Joker himself? Why would they need his lackey? They all immediately label him as possible bait or canon fodder, albeit canon fodder thats a wise-cracking asshole

And with whisper she was the stoic, no nonsense gun for hire who got the job done, she was the group loner.

To Sonic she was a prime target to annoy in the meantime so he wouldn’t be bored, intrigued to see what buttons he could press to make her snap. To Whisper he was like an annoying fly she couldn’t swat away.

But as the mission continued on the two begin to connect and bond a bit, getting their expectations subverted as the layers peel back little by little in this high stress situation where they could die with the press of a button.

She also helps Sonic dye the ends of his quills black in a gas station bathroom after Eggman dies and they have a rlly rlly good bonding moment between the two of them while in there, so ✨friendship✨

I’m sending this twice in case the first one gets lost in the void and since my adhd brain can’t remember it word for word and thought of new stuff too but if we take the shadow isn’t patient with anyone and only sonic and we apply it to the multiverse and all the other Sonic’s are shocked cause their shadows aren’t patient with them at all and prime sonic and raph sonic aren’t shocked at all and raph sonic is like “yeah mine was pretty patient with me until I did something stupid and he died outside his game and didn’t regenerate” it’s just the thought that he was the cause of his shadows demise could be the reason he’s helping the other sonic and shadows with their relationships since he regrets what he did and what he didn’t say to his shadow and when he sees movie sonic crushing over his shadow raph sonic basically goes “cherish him while you can and never be afraid to show him all the love he deserves” and then that gets boom thinking like “oh maybe I should try with my shadow” and like he does but he doesn’t since he knows his shadow don’t like him at all anymore (side note he does still) and boom shadow is like “wow a sonic broken apart by guilt because of the loss of his shadow” and that gets him thinking of how boom sonic would react if he left

Sonic Prime Multi-Sonic AU (No Place: Emerald Eye)

So, I'm not really sure if anyone remembers my theory/headcanon on "What if there was a 'Sonic' in each Shatterverse that took place before the shattering?", but here's one that I kept in my folder after rewatching Sonic Prime (when Dread makes his first appearance) and noticing how "buddy-buddy" Dread was with Sonic; almost as if they've met a long time ago...

TW: Contains character death, gruesome detail(s), Pirate speak, yaoi kiss (if you have a problem with that, then don't read). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[Setting: No Place. Dread, Emerald Eye, and the crew follow a red-mark trail. Emerald Eye overhears the crew speaking ill of Dread.]

Emerald Eye: Um, no offense, me bucko. But, be ye sure ye be knowin' whar we're headed? Dread: Of course, I do. Th' ground be marked like th' map! Emerald Eye: Alright, if ye say so…

[Suddenly, Emerald Eye noticed something below Dread's footing snapped. It's a trap! Before Dread could even react, Emerald Eye pushed him out of the way as a bolt of blue lightning struck the blue pirate through the chest. The rest of the crew was blown back. As the smoke slowly settles, Dread witnessed a horrid scene… Emerald Eye's chest is now harboring a medium-sized burnt crater that's all black and smokey. Smaller scars are going through his charred body. His one good eye is now bulging a bit with veins that pulsated. His signature "emerald-green" eye is now a lifeless dull shade of burnt moss… Dread couldn't believe it, his one and only is dead. His one and only took the shot that was meant for him. All he could do was to shakely embrace his beloved, one last time…]

Dread: *thinking* His chest be warm, but his body's cold… Crew member 1: Dread… Ye keel-hauled that scurvy dog?! But, he were bein' yer beloved! Crew member 2: How could ye do this? Bunny Bones: Traditionally, when a Cap'n dies, their second-in-command becomes Cap'n. But, who will e'er trust ye?

[Dread is now too devastated to answer. But, suddenly, an idea comes across his mind! The Devil's Lighthouse… According to legend, the power of the Devil's Lighthouse can bring a person back from the dead with only scars to tell the tale of their survival.]

Dread: What has happened can't be ignored. But, I've got an idea! All we need be t' get th' Glowin' Gemstone a- Jack: Be ye serious?! Our Cap'n visited Davy Jones' Locker savin' ye, but all ye care about be some giant rock?! How selfish can one Corsair get?

[Taken aback by this, Dread understood the traditions and this unfortunate circumstance. So, as he took off, he quickly grabbed Emerald Eye, his Captain hat, and continued his way to the other side of the island.]

Dread: *looks behind him* It appears to be that we lost them, I'll warrant ye. *looks down to Emerald Eye's body* Oh, me beloved… *cradles it gently* Ye knew th' blast were bein' meant fer me, why would ye take it instead? *tearing up a bit* Now, our crew thinks that I should've been poxed! *looks down, sadly nuzzles Emerald Eye's face* Ah, I can't stay mad at ye. Because o' ye, I've ne'er felt lonely out in open waters. As he got up, he noticed a rowboat that both looked and felt sturdy enough for him to set sail. For what seemed like forever, Dread was growing concerned about losing his rations. Sails: *offscreen* Avast there, scurvy dog! Dread: *looks up to see a ship* Black Rose: Be ye alright? Batten Rouge: We have more than enough grub and plenty o' juice and water from coconuts! Dread: *taken aback by this kindness* Uh, yeah! Thanks, to be sure! Can ye help me up onto yer ship? Black Rose: Of course, we want ye t' join us! Sails: Th' more, th' merrier! Fun fact: During the era of pirates, women weren't allowed to be on the same ship with them. So, it was common practice for men to sleep together. This means that they can explore other things than treasure...

This took me ages to finish but it’s finally here! My own spin off verse of TMNT!! I’m honestly so happy with these, and I’ll talk abt them separately!

Also expect art from underverse and undertale, I got back into that phase after leaving it years ago 😭 not complaining tho (and also sonic, somehow it got to me through sonic prime)

This AU is called Horror AU bc of all the horrors happening and they faced quite a lot

This AU is abt the guys being more murderers and crazy more then anything really, their backstory is that splinter was a bit more abusive and meaner, (yes I did him dirty) he was stricter and never treated his sons like his own sons, he felt like he lost everything bc of them and saving them, and when he went on the battlefield with his sons to fight he died. This made the brothers unstable and resulted in killing as a stress reliever.

Let me also explain in what they live in, I got inspired by the last ronin for this! They live in a dystopian completely controlled by the foot clan, foot members are merciless, they will kill any yokai or “monsters” in their paths, every wall are covered in wanted posters of monsters. They are hunted down till they are dead, they are alliances and groups of monsters who try to stay hidden, it’s basically a war.

Good old Leonardo, now in this AU they don’t really have a leader of some sort, yes Leo does make a few orders but there’s also orders from others in the team, mostly from Donnie. As you can see Leo’s sheet looks unfinished, bc it is, there are some things I didn’t do while finishing it and I didn’t double check. Leo is the manipulating bitchass who cracks jokes about dying and shit, he’s always smiling and being a narcissist ass, him and mikey are the ones that act the craziest of themselves with each other while murdering. He is a red eared slider because I can’t see him as anything else, he is 16 and 5’0 feet

Now good old Donnatello! He lost his eye to a foot clan ninja in an ambush and replaced it with a lil screen. He is a Diamondback terrapin, 5’3 feet and 16. Donnie is the one that provides his brothers with machines and medical care alongside april, he doesn’t kill as much as his brothers bc he doesn’t quite see the joy in it, instead he sees joy in technology. He also likes dissecting human bodies and studying them, he gets them from the foot clan ninja they killed. But when people mess with him he is the fastest and most brutal in combat, no mercy. Him and Leo do this thing where they put makeup on each other when going on a killing spree, to be like a duo, it’s mostly Leo who makes Donnie do it.

When he is angry god help you bc you are dead in seconds, he is the most violent when feeling angry, frustrated or disrespected. I made him a spiny soft shell bc they are violent when feeling threatened, he is 5’10 and 17. He was always been told off by everyone for his anger bc most of the time it would get outta hand, he felt like he wasn’t good enough and a failure to his team, so he trained harder. He got one of the worst injury on the back of his soft shell, it was hard for him to recover.

And last but not least…MIKEY!!! Mikey’s sheet is heavely packed with drawings, i didn’t realize till I compared him to Leo and Raph, and he was only the second to be made! He is a spiny terrapin turtle, 14 and 4’11. He is the most unstable out of his brothers, he wants to eat organs, he is quite impatient and firey, he never lets go and he likes to spill blood and also he likes to pretend to be a clown when he is killing ppl, it gives him reassurance

Anyways, next time I’ll give to you april and jones! And maybe splints! This AU isn’t gonna be used really, unless I do drawings of it, and you guys get to draw it as well! If you wish to do that ofc! I would love to see some drawings or writings of these!

the trailer shows that nobody recognizes sonic in the other universes, sure, but it makes me think wether is because sonic never existed in that universe, or died and now this new sonic came and nobody knows what to do with it. even if personally i find the second one more interesting, the most likely to be is that sonic never existed in the first place-like that one chapter of sonic boom type of situation-

tbh i like the idea of sonic just dying in at least the dystopian au because i am starving for tails angst and seeing his design and animation that could've been a good opportunity

that counsel of eggmans looks a bit like it's all the eggmans from all dimensions and it makes me SO interested. if it is and it seems like it's the main threat it would make so much sense why the urgency of going between worlds to solve the problem of there being apparently no barrier between the universes. but also ! that would mean that a) original eggman traveled not only to an alternate dimension but time traveled too in order to create the counsel before sonic arrives b) the counsel of eggmans is an entity created way before the events of our main universe where every world where sonic isn't there has it's Eggman join

or maybe the many eggmans is just some cloning thing and im getting more excited than i should but MAN i can't help it

ive been thinking about how maybe his two biological tails are fine. but outside of his original form we don't see him flying. like call me crazy but what it tails cannot fly? at least in the dystopian au? sonc lore depending on the source has two main possible ways that tails learned to fly where in one when he gets excited he involuntarily moves his tails and that's how he know and the other one he learned because he wanted to be able to keep up with sonic's speed (sonic origins merges both of these ideas into one but it's still this two) so maybe he needs robotic tails bc of that idk

not a prediction more like a genuine curiosity on how multiverse works in prime. like look i adore the concept of multiverse as much as the next guy but ive never seen it done in a way that it really explores how much the existence of a multiverse can impact the characters, because the mcu and rick and morty showed me how easy it is to misuse it and make it feel boring and shows like final space where multiverse slowly wanted to be used with potential had no chance to shine enough for it to count as a multiverse story imo

so since the entire novelty of THIS piece of sonic media is that it has a multiverse concept it does make me very interested since it won't be an afterthought of a bigger story but the entire reason why the story exists. so yeah i cannot expect any deep psychological exploration on the cosmic horror of infinite versions of oneself or some deep shit bc that's not what SONIC is about

like if i would want super deep philosophy stuff i wouldn't be expecting it from this franchise and much less i would be a fan of it i just like funny mobians. but i JUST want a well written fun multiverse story where it feels like the multiverse as a concept is not there for decor and is actually made with sense and it's own rules n stuff. i just want my stories to make sense.

Sorry for a lack of updates/posts about my newest AU. Some irl stuff happened so I've been distracted. Anyways to make up for it here is some random stuff about my Scrapnik Sonic AU that I've been thinking about!

When Tails and Scrapnik Sonic first meet face to face it does not go well. All Tails sees is a potentially dangerous Metal Sonic and immediately takes a fighting stance. But the reason he actually attacks Scrapnik Sonic? He's acting as if he is Sonic (well he is but Tails doesn't know) when he's sure his brother is dead.

Btw I highly reccomend against badmouthing Sonic in any way while Tails is around. He will get aggressive with you and, if you keep insulting Sonic for some crazy reason, might actually engage in physical violence for insulting his dead brother.

Tying slightly into what I just said, I'm sure you're all wondering about Eggman in relation to the above... The answer is that on their first encounter since Sonic (presumably) died he threatened to kill Eggman. It doesn't help that Tails was still in the grieving process at the time and so he just kinda lost it on him. I mean this man killed his brother and he has nerve to insult him to Tails' face?! Needless to say, Eggman avoids insulting Sonic while Tails is around.

Literally the only reason Tails doesn't just murder Eggman is because Sonic never did. He feels like if he killed Eggman it'd be an insult to Sonic. This is actually part of why he threatened to murder Eggman for insulting Sonic. Kind of like an eye for an eye thing I guess?

But yeah, Tails completely changes once Sonic is gone. He's more closed off and more prone to agression. I mean just look at a certain Tails from Sonic Prime and you'll see what happens to a Tails without Sonic.

And yes, I am keeping things about Scrapnik Sonic vague. As much as I wanna just spill right now I also just really wanna surprise you guys. >:)

Okay so first off: I hate the prime universe. Big is ugly, Knuckles sounds weird, Amy acts weird, Shadow acts weird, Rouge isn't showing her titties and everyone sort of acts like a budget 3D children's cartoon. The way they smile, and stand it scared me it was like Sonic Boom or Pac-Man or Mega Man...

Tho I looooove the animation, sometimes they seem to move like claymation, they're actually animated like cartoon characters! Something in the games Ive only seen in Sonic CHampionship and Sonic Riders!!

Also even tho the prime universe sucks, you barely see it!

Tho.. the weird wormy story telling is like... "dude why didn't you just have a longer intro instead of jumping back to finish the intro"

Like, it persists through the whole season so like... aunno I don't get it. My friend said that Ben10 man wrote this and it's a Ben10 thing but I never watched Ben10

Oh yeah I love Sonic's voice, like... he actually sounds like Sonic for once! It's very modern but like... duh. It's not 1999 anymore (sadly) so he kinda sounds like what corporate thinks is a tiktok but oh cool there's foxy comics in Sonic's world

It's weird how Amy is sorta like the brains (tactics) instead of Rouge or Tails or Sonic. Kinda reminds me of Sally Acorn.

Tho the AU Amys are fantastic like it's almost like she's Sonic's rival like Knuckles used to be. I love seeing them fight! I fucking hate the baby Robotnik tho.

Also it's weird that only Sonic Underground world got AU Robotnik(s) but Junghole and pirate world didn't.

Like, this is all we get? Where's colonial eggman or monarch eggman... well I guess both are the same...

Where's Good Robotnik? I want to see a universe where Sonic's pals n gals are the villain and Robotnik is the force of good.

This is going to be 24 episodes and it's not (quite) Quantum Leap in that it's episodic... it's more worm spaghetti.

Also Sonic seems to be sorta connected the the crystal he shattered? Like the glue to the multiverse? Pretty weird.

Nine would be my favorite character if not for Rusty Rose.

Like she's the Robotniks' lap dog but she seems to be roboticized but more robocop than SatAM (which, Wildbrain is basically new DiC) and she's a formidable opponent and I love her?

She is basically mind-controlled by the Robotniks (then later Nine) so I wonder how much of her is her and how much of her is programming and how much of her is lost...

Also I wonder how long until someone makes fetish art of Nine controlling Rusty (I'm busy working on JG so not it)

Shadow seems to be lost in the void and can only communicate with Sonic when he's running fast which causes him to warp similar to Sonic CD

Sonic also warps when he touches a jewel (sorta like Sonic CD except no)

I wonder if there will be six worlds: one that focuses on each character's social problem, on the rewatch I realized Amy cared about forests in the shattering, which, the jungle episode is about Thorny Rose wanting to defend the jungle at all costs.

So is SU world about Nine needing Sonic?

is pirate world about Knuckles not thinking?

Will there be a Rouge, Robotnik and Sonic worlds?

Will Blaze or different Sonics be in the show?

Ok guys here is the intro of my AU. My writing is a little weird (sorry in advance) I hope you guys enjoy it!

!!!SONIC PRIME SEASON 3 SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

Shadows point of view 

I could see that Black Rose wasn't able to take us back home. Her ship wasn't in any condition to fly. I looked at Sonic. It pained me to see him in so much pain. I knew what I had to do. 

Shadow: Black Rose! You have brought us far enough. I'll take it from here.

Black Rose nodded at me. I walked toward Sonic as Thorn helped him from the ground. Sonic placed his arm on me and I wrapped my right arm around his waist and my left hand on his hand. He leaned on me for support as we walked slowly toward the front of the ship. I was going to ask if he was ready but before I could do that Sonic looked behind him.

Sonic: Goodbye Roses

I knew that was the cue to leave. We jumped off the ship and onto the floating rocks. When we reached the 6th rock Sonic could no longer stand. He winced in pain. I looked at him and at home. We were still far away and needed to go faster. I picked him up and started running fast. 

Sonic: I never knew you were a hugger.

I looked at him. Even when he was dying he was still finding a way to make me feel better. I decided to play along to try and lighten the situation.

Shadow: Do you want me to save you or not?

Sonic winced in pain and lost consciousness. I ran faster. I jumped off the rock I was running on.  I saw another rock with a flat surface and aimed for it. Just as I got on this rock I jumped off it with all my strength, creating waves so I can go faster. I was now in the air heading straight towards Green Hill. We were almost there!

Shadow (yelling): Hang on Sonic!

In my hands though I felt Sonic's body. I couldn't feel him breathing. I couldn't feel his heartbeat. No. We were going to make it. He was going to live. I made my air shoes go as fast as they could. I grabbed onto Sonic tighter seconds before we made it back to Green Hill. 

I woke up. Where am I? I looked at my surroundings. I was surrounded by rocks. In front of me I felt something heavy in my hand. The chaos emerald! I hear an explosion coming from temple mountain. Sonic! I get up and run. I ran past Big and up the mountain. I stop at the entrance. There I see Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge and Eggman. I see Eggman about to get the rock off the ground. I teleport in front of Eggman and punch his robot outfit. He falls to the ground. 

Everyone: Shadow?

I scan the room for Sonic. He's not here. I turn to the group.

Shadow: Where’s Sonic? 

Amy: I-I don't know. One minute he's here and the next…

Tails: He just vanished out of thin air.

What? No. No no no no. It couldn't be. 

Shadow (with fear in his voice): How long ago did it happen?

Eggman (in the background): HELP ME UP YOU IDIOT ROBOTS

Rouge: Just a minute before you got here. Shadow is-

I stopped listening as my surroundings started to go foggy. I put my hands on my head. No no no no no no. It couldn't be. Was I not fast enough? Did I really-? I could hear Rouge's voice talking to me but I wasn't listening. I felt myself hyperventilating. Then I saw everyone except Rouge run behind me. 

Rouge (voice muffled): Shadow what’s wrong?

I failed him. I failed him. I wasn't fast enough. He is gone…because of me. Rouge is trying to calm me down but I can't. I failed. I close my eyes as I hear the muffled voice around me.

Tails (voice muffled): What's wrong with him?

Rouge (voice muffled): I don't know

Amy (voice muffled): We can't let Eggman get the Prism!

The Prism! I open my eyes and look at the Prism It is full of Sonic's energy. Maybe I could use it to find a way to bring him back to life. It just might work! I have the chaos emerald appear in my hand and I teleport on top of the prism. 

Eggman: Shadow? What the heck are you doing?

Shadow: Fixing everything

Before he could respond I put the palm of my hand on the prism and shout

Shadow: CHAOS CONTROL!

and disappear.

-battery sonic forces rewrite - tails storyline (9k so far) … too much lore…….. not enough structure

-random ass sickfic of tails and sonic in holoska (non game specific) … 2k but idk where it’s going. i never had a plan in mind 😅

ideas that fully need written:

-mighty & ray from mightys pov. ‘who is this awkward nine year old who thinks he’s so cool. i want to pet his stupid spines, he needs a fucking hug. wait. why is he ruining my life. oh my god. just stay put stop running directly into danger i swear to god this pincushion will be the death of me. what do you mean you saved the entire island. wtf you’re younger than me.’

-sonic unleashed word vomit. everyone asks what the werehog is, no one ever asks how the werehog is. :( is the big fluffy hedgedog okay. also why sonic starts sidelining tails — the world is uhhh … ending. again. and if even sonic himself died last time (06) and even his super transformation could be taken from eggman (start of unleashed)… no way is he risking tails. gonna b hard from tails’s perspective

-sonic going briefly mute under stress for some adventure idk. no canon game to drop this one.

-chaos sonic lore feelings dump — references to the number of ‘dark’ transformations sonic has had, emphasis on why he HAS to stay positive. no worries allowed, you’re here to save the world. if you go bad, there’s no hope for anyone.

Imagine the first teaser of Sonic Prime has Sonic doing his usual stuff with being a hero and everything. With upbeat music and scenes of Sonic bashing Eggman's robots.

The music then shifts to something a bit more serious, as Sonic is briefly seen in what we can assume are alternate universes. Ranging from Sonic running through new locales, to meeting old and new faces of AU Sonic characters.

The music dims and we cut to an alternate version of one of Sonic's friends (either Tails, Knuckles or Amy) being heard.

"Sonic..."

(Screen turns to black)

"...You're alive!"

Oh, that would be quite the grim AU

I bet there would be one where Sonic was never born and Eggman has been the ruler of the world for a while, but one when he died? That's sad... I want it :D

You know how horror stories have sometimes dark interpretations of fairy tales in the stories? well that could be the Maria lives / Shadow puppet Au. sorry asked a weird question for the AU but your response to the question was as wonderful as i thought. Also before i forget to ask, did sonic know about Shadow before his brainwashing or did Maria had to fill him on that? and what was sonic first meeting with shadow in this AU if there was one?

ohh i guess. Puppet Shadow au really spiraled into its own thing lmao while its def got "dark and gritty remake of sonic the hedgehog" vibes to it once you dig deeper its got its own balance of comedic and dark, similar to the actual games!

the lineup of characters, for example, is useful for both great funney and also big sad. Like, Maria flips from grieving yet determined individual to chaotic mad scientist/older sister vibes at the drop of a hat, and the rest of the cast has similar stuff to them as well

they act as one big chaotic family but each have their own sadness because of how the world has become, plus the ghibli-esque environmentalist themes of industrialism vs. nature is something thats developed the more i work on this au

AND NO Shadow was taco bell bonged at around the same time Maria died in Prime universe so Maria had to fill Sonic in on that

I have.... no ideas for Sonic's first meeting with Shadow in this au (though i imagine its a warped version of their first meeting in SA2) tbh. but in this au Sonic's relationship with Shadow is basically that one scene in Sonic Colors where he's talking to a broken robot

He's got a bit of a harsher edge to his nicknames and banter in this au tho since Shadow hasn't proved himself to be capable of doing good yet. He calls Shads a "Science Fair Project" after all

in fact most of the cast call Shadow by his full title "Project Shadow". Maria and Sonic are the only exceptions, and Sonic only because of the nicknames he gives
