I know I said I'd be back earlier this week, but it's hard to write fanfic when you're kind of living in it yourself. A huge dream of mine and my husband's is coming true right now and I want to be all in on the process.

I started writing almost two years ago to cope with some kind of professional burnout and then fertility issues. At one point I was adding one chapter of a story each day, imposing a killer pace on myself, neglecting my other responsibilities that simply overwhelmed me.

My husband has seen my change and has helped me get back on track properly: six months ago I got back full steam ahead with my commitment to my business and projects, plus if all goes well next June we will become parents.

My dreams have come true and I want to be part of them. I'm thinking about my oneshot and I'll definitely be writing it slowly, but it's not my priority right now (and rightly so).

I'll be reblogging gifs and answering to your asks, I'll also try to respond to your private messages. I won't stop writing, but I'm slowing down so I don't miss out on what's really important in my life.

One thing that's become really apparent with the surge of anti-transgender sentiment in the States particularly is that not only are these people bigots, they don't know what pronouns actually are.

'My pronouns are 'arrest/Fauci.' I know you think this is clever, but it's not. Hope that helps!

'We were fine before pronouns.' Pronouns have existed in human language for centuries and centuries, and even the use of 'they' as a gender neutral personal pronoun dates back to the 14th century. You are unforgivably stupid.

'Nobody needs pronouns.' I will bet my entire savings account that you have used multiple pronouns the very day you wrote this.

So you're telling me that we are getting another chapter today when I haven't recovered from Kacchan Bakugou, or "I'm the one who steps in", or the Combat Handhold, or the "Their feelings become one" or the direct eye contact, the disappearance of Izuku's OFA charged tears upon seeing Katsuki again....or katsuki rescuing AllMight, Kacchanmari Damacy, AFO screaming about his brother's boyfriend...

I can't say it's a good day. I gave my cats to my dad's friend and I'm in a bad mood now. I need some time to get over it. I also realized that I'm spending a lot of money for food while there are cheaper alternatives. Out of my sadness, I started writing a short story for children about the adventures of a cat named honey. I will post it on Amazon. But what made my mood better was a Korean series called Monthly Home Magazine. It's funny. The kind of stuff we consume really affects our psychology.

We take our final bow, soak up the applause, and stand under the stage lights one last time, and with that, that show is over. We bump out and clear the space and say goodbye to the cast and crew who we won't see as often anymore, not yet fully realising the weight of what we've done until we get home. People who we saw at least once a week, and then every day for a whole week, now barely in our lives until whatever show we both do next.

You can try to bargain with time, gaslight yourself into believing it's not over, but there's no changing that it'll never happen again. Not like that.

So you sit with it, you realise you finally have a chance to breathe after all the chaos. Yet it feels wrong, everything hurts and you feel empty. A shark that has stopped swimming. It's like you've died and there's nothing left for you.

You don't know what will happen to you if you don't find a new way to keep moving before the cast party, but you know you have to for everyone you worked alongside to bring art to life.
