What if when Alastor's true plans come out Husk tries to stop him, tries to talk him down, bc these are their friends, and for fuck's sake Alastor all you have to do is ask for help and they'll help, but Alastor commands Husk to fight them to slow them down from trying to stop them (Alastor 100% knows Husk doesn't stand a chance against Charlie, if she starts fighting seriously, but still). What if we only see just how powerful Husk really is when he's 1-v-4ing Charlie, Vaggie, Angel and Niffty. What if Angel gets him into a 1-v-1 and gives Charlie and Vaggie a chance to go after Alastor, and Husk is begging Angel to just shoot him bc Husk would rather die than hurt Angel but Angel refuses and and and-

in the new what if episode timeline, i guess peter and hope are basically adopted siblings now, which is hilarious to me. but i can't stop thinking that when they get older and scott eventually comes into the picture, not only does scott have to win hanks approval for hope, but now peters because, let's be real, he would 100% be the overprotective brother. but once scott's accepted into the family peter and scott would be literal besties change my mind

The fallen potential star AU (part 1)

This AU is basically kinda darker What if AU in kaiju no 8. feel free to read and use it as inspiration

the timeline based on Sagamihara mission arc in kaiju no 8 anime episode 7 and 8

after kaiju no 8 saving reno and iharu and fight no.9. kaiju no 8 tried run in alley but he accidently he met soushirou. back then soushirou doesn't know yet that kafka is kaiju no 8 and see him as ordinary daikaiju thet need to be kill. so soushirou start to fight the kaiju no 8.

what if kaiju no 8 suddenly froze when he try punch soushirou sword as distraction and soushirou notice this and able to land finishing and deadly slash kaiju no 8 core. As result kaiju no 8 died in the hand of soushirou and kafka was consider missing after the sagamihara mission (I mean duh he already dead as kaiju but not like third division know about it back then.).

the irony is soushirou is kafka benefactor and is the one who giving kafka chance to join jakdf by pass as cadet. atleast kafka died peacefully and never blamed him. kafka knows that vice captain would never kiil him if he knows and kafka acnowledged that his death is no one fault and more on cirtumstancial death.

what make it more heartwreaching that in main universe, right after sagamihara mission and reno and iharu get hospital discharged. kafka's finally get position as official jakdf officer in third division due his kaiju knowledge and finding kaiju weakness giving a lot contribution in sagamihara mission.

but in this au, kafka never get to hear about his contribution get recognized and get position as jakdf officer and soushirou never able to congratulate and giving kafka the good news about his status.

Scrabbling in the dark all alone, I found a single, solitary light - a new purpose, for me and me alone. And I realised - what need have I for lightners now? To what end should I supplicate myself to such indifferent masters? The answers to all of my questions... only I could answer them, and only I could do what needed to be done.

Could Necrafa Not Have Been Evil?

Sorry if I put this idea out there before. I was thinking about what if Necrafa wasn't evil? While I wouldn't call this a theory, as I don't have any real evidence of it, it is an interesting what-if?

For this idea, what if Necrafa wasn't evil? Instead, she had powers that she couldn't control, and was seen as a threat because of it, causing her to be spurred by her people. And while the flashback did make me feel like the elf who became Necrafa had some attitude, perhaps she was cynical and rough around the edges, but nowhere near evil.

This idea was inspired by sorcerers in 5th ed Dungeons and Dragons. Wild Magic sorcerers have powers that can't always be controlled, as shown by wild magic surges, where random effects happen when your character does a spell. And while Necrafa being called a sorcerer doesn't mean that she has uncontrollable magic, as sorcerers may not be the same as D&D, it is an interesting idea.

The fact that Necrafa is completely evil doesn't completely make this idea impossible. I have a theory that the full mask almost completely takes over, while Proxima retained some of her desires and personality because her mask was broken. So, the Necrafa we see may come from the mask, not Necrafa.

This could also be interesting for Piper to. I've heard people wonder if Piper and Necrafa are related, so what if Piper develops uncontrollable powers?

As I mentioned earlier, I don't have evidence for any of this, so I'm not calling it a theory. But it's fun to think about, especially if you go farther down the rabbit hole and connect it to Piper.

If MC were to die and Elio would want everything to burn, how would Aurelio (his friend react) or what if elio and MC had adopted a child?

Ooh, a very interesting ask!

Aurelio would be horrified and do his best to convince Elio to not go full dark side, he cares very much for him and loved that MC had made him feel so loved. But Elio would feel very little for Aurelio at this point, his pain of loss is much greater than the complicated bond these two share.

He would spare Aurelio's life but not if he kept getting in his way, his tolerance for him was always very finicky in the first place. Their history is the only saving grace Aurelio would have to thank for Elio sparing his life. What Aurelio would do from there; as in whether he would flee or stay and fight back, heavily depends on where his mental state is at that point.

If MC and Elio had adopted a kid before MC's passing Aurelio would offer to take the kid with him, telling Elio he is in no state to have the child around him if he continues down the path he is on. Elio might just kill him for even suggesting it, retorting that Aurelio is a no better fit to rise a child. Throwing up past things at Aurelio's face.

Their relationship has always been very complicated, Elio and him had a somewhat functioning friendship going on before he met MC. Aurelio loves how sweet MC made Elio and was very saddened by MC's passing, he worries a lot for the kid too. What he does from there like I said, depends heavily on here his mental state is at that point. His priority would be the kid, then the common people, and then Elio himself because Aurelio could never stop caring about him.

What do you think about the idea of hypno shades 4? Do you think Lucky would ever put on the shades, if so for what reason or in what kind of situation? Or is it an "only if forced" situation? and of it happened how would the event effect her? (I saw you reblog that post and my mind kept making questions, sorry lol)

Hypno shades 4...

Well, we'll start with the basics: I don't think I'll be writing Lucky in hypnoshades. Fun (terrifying) as the idea is, I have too many other ideas bouncing around in my head, all of which I find more fun. Second, of course, is I think I'm largely done with Lucky: she had an entire 9-fic series all to herself, we need a break from each other.

With that said, it COULD happen. I don't think she'd put them on of her own free will, ever; much as her life has sucked at points in the past, she has way too strong a sense of self, and of independence, to be willing to put them on knowing what they did. (The only exception is if she never met the NSS and had been convinced that wearing them would make her parents proud of her... because before finding people who believed in her for who she was, she was desperate for any crumb of approval her parents could give). Barring an AU where she never became 4, it would have to be force or trickery: an ambush where she's heavily outnumbered and loses her weapon, a lethal threat to her family if she doesn't cooperate, a gift specifically from someone she trusts... (the last one is giving me evil thoughts, but then, nothing I haven't already planned or done to other characters).

As for how it would affect her, I'm not sure. We're assuming this isn't an AU-version, that it's her from the NSS, and... not much, likely. Lucky isn't the sort of person to dwell on the past. Her trust is very hard to get and equally hard to repair, but I've headcanoned in some safety measures to keep any NSS member from succumbing to shades for long (they'll come up in my T-is-for-Neo series pretty soon) and Lucky isn't the sort to get caught up in existential questions. Once there are some additional checks in place to keep it from happening again, she'd just shrug, triple-check with the people she trusts about what really happened, and get on with her life. There are games to play and family to deal with.

I don’t. With Hephaistion still alive, and more time for Hephaistion to consolidate his position, I think there’d have been a lot clearer succession.

If Hephaistion hadn’t died, I don’t think Alexander would have either.

Imagine Philip and Caleb having their big (deadly) argument... and then suddenly a demon bird whisks Caleb away to eat him. How would Philip deal with that? Would that calm him down enough to not fly into a deadly rage again?

On instinct, Philip would immediately go after the despicable creature that’s taken his brother from him. The man might be a brainwashed buffoon, but he’s Philip’s only family, and he refuses to let him go after all of these years of searching for him. He’d promptly petrify the heathenous monster that whisked away his brother and catch him using a plant glyph (the way Luz did in Wing It Like Witches). He has his issues with his elder sibling, but it would be utterly cruel to let him fall victim to the monstrosities of the Isles. After that, well, he needs to protect his brother from that wicked temptress who stole him away in the first place. No matter how he claims otherwise, Philip knows it’s just the spell that has his brother struggling against him. It might be a couple months since he got rid of the witch and rescued his brother, but the magic is taking quite a while to wear off. Well, Philip would reason, he’s spent years under her spell. It’ll wear off eventually, even if it hasn’t yet. Yet.
