Finally got enough time of stealing someone’s Netflix account to finish Arcane, and I just gotta say - it’s drop-dead GORGEOUS start to finish.

The 2-D effects, the 3-D styling, the lighting, the mechanical details, the deco, the art nouveau - huge visual treat. Loved it.

So yesterday my baby girl took a mild stroke, she's slowly recovering and all we can do is give her peace and quiet to get better but it was a scary time! She's 13, she's not a young pup any more. I've also got the "finished a series and wish it wasn't over" feels too! Got to find something new.

Watched 🎥 @greenbookmovie we watched this film on Sunday. I know I am late to this Academy Award Winning Party, but when a film stops all of you in your tracks you must talk about it. The beauty and the quietness of the story is a little bit magic. Two men in a car driving and learning. The use of role reversal makes you look at the topics raised in a completely different light and shines a light in any area you might not have thought about before. The handling of the difficult and heartbreaking topics without drama or noise shines that light even brighter on the discourse of race and position even more. We all feel in love with Dr Shirley (@mahershalaali) and Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen). To think that both of these men are not merely characters but were real life people. Watched 📺 🔪 Killing Eve “Sometimes when you love someone you do crazy things” Villanelle With a change of writer (Phoebe Waller-Bridge handing the reigns over to Emerald Fennell) the recurring themes for me are Love and Obsession. What would you do for love? How far would you go for love? #villanelle is as impenetrable, flamboyant, and obsessive as when we left her in series one. Albeit with increasing vulnerability when it comes to Eve. Jodie Comer plays the character as the perfect anti-heroine; not only are the accents believable yet beyond belief, her facial expressions add another character in themselves, revealing the true psychopath. All the characters are brought to life by every actor, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw and Sandra Oh are magnificent. Unlike series one I did find my attention wavering mid way through series two (this might have more to do with me that the actual programme) but fucking (sorry mum) hell did the last episode not get my attention right back on track. Devour it. Fall a little in love with Villanelle. Worry, care and second guess Eve. Want to be Fiona Shaw when you grow up. Learn to love your inner psychopath.
