Spiderman Noir gives me the vibe of someone who has a lot of facial scars, and from other ppl’s fanart I know it’s actually a common headcanon- but I couldn’t put my finger on WHY until I remembered this scene:
He wears fucking glass goggles of COURSE his face has been brutally sliced up at least once

I think Spider-Man fans don’t talk enough about Sandman being completely immortal. Like, how can he die? He’s just sand! Sand doesn’t breathe, eat, drink, sleep, age, decay! He has no vital organs to fail, no blood to lose. He has no cells to become diseased or cancerous. He can’t get hurt. He can’t get ill. Where are my existential crisis Sandman fanfics where Peter complains about his back in a fight or something because he’s in his late thirties or older and Flint remembers that Spider-Man was definitely a teenager when they first met and it’s been decades and Flint is exactly the same?

Finally! Ive got them done!! These are my designs for my version/mix of Max and Flint aka Electro and Sandman!! (details on them under the cut)
Max much like in the Webbverse is a electrician/lineman working at Oscorp. and he's pretty lonely, having not many people to talk to after his ex-fiancé dumped him for being unable to provide more of a "life" for her (money issues/small pay)
He was a pretty big fan of Spiderman and was somewhat friends with Otto before his accident. Afterward they have an off/on relationship mainly bc of Otto's arrogance/ego
He ended up falling into a vault of bioengineered electric Eels (created by Connors) and instead of dying he was mutated and much like his comic self he found himself transformed into a living electrical capacitor, powered by the micro-fine rhythmic muscle contractions that normally regulate body temperature
His mind and ego are transformed, and he goes out as Electro seeking attention, praise, and money to fill his insatiable greed.
Flint, much like his comic self is actually William Baker going by an alias Flint Marko due his extensive criminal record (petty theft, robbery, ect.) he took up the name after one of his favorite Highschool teachers Mrs.Flint and an old friend named Marko.
At this point he only responds to this name, which didn't pose a problem before he was changed.
He was married to a lovely lady named Mary and they had a little girl together named Emily. He is her sweet princess. But much like in the Raimi!verse, Emily comes down with a deadly illness and Flint reverts back to a life of crime to pay off her medical bills and medicine. But he got caught and served time in jail but eventually broke out.
It's not exactly clear how he got his powers, because he is a habitual liar and changes the story every time, the only consistency being that he was surrounded by sand and large amounts of radiation.
He wants to reinsert himself into his families life but can't due to his new found "super villain" title, thus putting them in harms way. Otto promises to help him as best he can as long as they work together to take down Spiderman
