An idea from almost a year ago for a Halloween Cosplay project, which I manage to draw just now.

Like what I did with Marchu and luxigi, I tried replicating the Wind Waker Toon Link design, albeit mine's a bit cleaner...... it's actually just my own dirty sketch style.

My love for Wind Waker managed to pull me out of a long and deep depression pit long enough to do this. Started playing the HD version and its just so pretty, I finally actually wanted to draw something. So here's my OC Wish in WW style!

remember aya nakamura, the woman famous for singing “djadja”? well i drew her.

for context:

manie musicale is an event kind of like “march madness” in basketball but with french songs. this event is mostly held in schools worldwide, and the job is to vote between a choice of two songs. the song with the most votes moves on the bracket, and the two songs with the most votes compete against each other. if one song gets more votes, they win (but idk what they win).

for 2022, aya nakamura’s song “fly” was featured, but (i think) lost to “nouveau monde” by corneille for the number of votes. as this was going on last year, an art contest was held, where you draw something related to the songs featured in manie musicale 2022. i wanted mine to be unique and based off the “super smash styles” series of the user @xeternalflamebryx . therefore, that’s why the zelda wind waker style is present in my drawing.

also here’s my art being featured in the video relating to the art contest. yay!

I got back into playing The Witcher 3 and got to the flashback part where you play as Ciri, and now I want a whole game where you play as her.

I know it's a comedy manga, but the ww manga probably has one of my favorite manga interpretations of Link. Mainly because he feels accurate to his games. He's quiet, he can talk, but he mostly just communicates his thoughts through his actions and body language. He's also just a silly little guy.
