hi! I'm cissinglet and I'm sort of thinking I wanna transition to transplural of some sorts but I have absolutely no idea how to. can you please give me some tips? and by tips I mean completely beginner tips. thank you!
also I'm sorry if this is bothering you. .
also is 🍓 taken as a sign off?
Hello new anon! No, you are not a bother at all, I am more than happy to help you or anyone else :) As for tips, here are some tips of mine: Brainstorm what you want your system to look like! Google images or a creative game like Minecraft can help you design a headspace, and creating non-introject designs can be done in Gacha Club or Picrews! Set up Pluralkit or SimplyPlural! This can help with details, and the group functions can be used to organize parts of headspace or system roles if you so desire.
Install a notes app, this can help communication when you are offline for example! And most of all, treat your headmates like they're already there, and this will cause them to be able to respond surprisingly quickly! I hope these helped! Feel free to ask me any more specific questions!

Integrating DID and TFN into Your VoIP System: A Comprehensive Guide

In today’s fast-paced business world, effective communication is crucial. Direct Inward Dialing (DID) and Toll-Free Numbers (TFN) can significantly enhance your VoIP system, making it easier for customers to reach you and for you to manage incoming calls. This guide will walk you through the basics of DID and TFN, their benefits, and how to integrate them into your VoIP system.
What is Direct Inward Dialing (DID)?
Direct Inward Dialing (DID) allows businesses to assign individual phone numbers to each employee or department without needing separate physical phone lines. This means customers can directly reach the person or department they need without going through a switchboard.
Benefits of DID:
Improved Customer Service: Customers can quickly connect with the right person or department.
Increased Efficiency: Calls are routed directly to the intended recipient, reducing wait times.
Enhanced Tracking: Monitor and analyze call patterns for better decision-making.
What are Toll-Free Numbers (TFN)?
Toll-Free Numbers are phone numbers that enable customers to contact a business at no cost to them. These numbers usually start with prefixes like 800, 888, or 877.
Benefits of TFN:
Expanded Reach: Customers across the country can call you for free.
Professional Image: Having a toll-free number enhances your business’s credibility.
Marketing Tool: Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by using different toll-free numbers for each campaign.
Integrating DID and TFN into Your VoIP System
Step 1: Choose a Reliable VoIP Provider
Your VoIP provider should offer robust support for both DID and TFN. Look for providers with a track record of reliable service and good customer support.
Step 2: Obtain Your DID and TFN Numbers
Contact your VoIP provider to obtain DID and TFN numbers. They will guide you through the selection process and help you choose numbers that fit your business needs.
Step 3: Configure Your VoIP System
Once you have your DID and TFN numbers, you’ll need to configure your VoIP system. Here’s how:
Assign DID Numbers: Allocate individual DID numbers to each employee or department. This can usually be done through your VoIP provider’s management portal.
Set Up Call Routing: Configure call routing rules to ensure calls to DID numbers reach the correct person or department. This can involve setting up call forwarding, automated attendants, or voicemail.
Integrate TFN: Link your toll-free numbers to your VoIP system. Set up call routing so that calls to these numbers are directed to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Step 4: Test Your System
Before going live, test your DID and TFN integrations to ensure they work correctly. Make test calls to verify that calls are being routed properly and that all features are functioning as expected.
Step 5: Monitor and Optimize
After integration, continuously monitor your system’s performance. Use analytics tools provided by your VoIP provider to track call volumes, durations, and other metrics. This data can help you optimize your call routing and improve customer service.
Conclusion
Integrating DID and TFN into your VoIP system can revolutionize your business communications. By providing direct access to employees and offering toll-free calling options, you enhance customer satisfaction and streamline your operations. Follow these steps to seamlessly integrate these features and take your business communication to the next level.

Tbh i feel like nfts really exposed the absurdity of IP or copyright being applied to the net, like it's just a complete blind spot of how computers and well the net works which is just wireless communication of data be it text, image, video, code, or programs that can be copied endlessly or at least long enough where the average person doesn't have to worry about it, like people can add as many protections as they want but they can all be circumvented with (in nfts case) a simple right click and save as and u got a copy of that image in general media, tools to crack copy protection in terms of software DRM have been around for years (of course some is harder than others but people have done that in the past, so i don't see how someone couldn't in the present with enough know how or time) it's like people taking a old tool to a completely new situation that it just won't work completely or in the ways people want.
100% agreed like. I've said it a couple times before, trying to enforce copyright in a digital environment where things can be endlessly replicated and copied with no physical production cost is essentially trying to artifically impose scarcity in an environment where by definition it can't exist. NFTs were the most blatant attempt at it (i.e. not even trying to pretend that they were anything but an attempt to create artificial scarcity) and they were rightfully mocked to hell and back for it. I just wish people were able to extrapolate the same contempt to other forms of attempted digital landlordism.

Hey could you explain radqueer to me? I don't really understand it, I have some general knowledge like categorizing things like paraphillas as "queer" or part of the LGBTQ community, which i don't understand, I have a paraphilla myself (sadomasochism) but I don't understand how it could be queer? I avoid a lot of radq because WAY to many of them (from what I've seen) have basically said that "erm pedophilia and incest isn't bad actually" which I just find weird and gross, not to sound rude or mean to you
I also see that a lot of anons give tags to their messages so ig I'll do that to :] (❤️🔪)
I feel like this isn't my specific area of expertise (typing out something like this), but I think I can type up something comprehendible! Identifying as anything "unusual" is inherently an act of defiance and queer, like some people who consider demi people "normal people", even though they are still inherently queer-- Much like how some people may phrase transids in a way that's with a different labelling (such as transspecies vs therian), radqueer is about being able to be open about every part of yourself in a world that constantly shuns you for being different. To a lot of people, being this open, having so many things that you can say "yeah this is me" IS radical, even if some people consider some of it normal.
I believe that the act of turning something into a transid is an act of reclaiming it for yourself, and putting the power of identity back into your hands, rather than making it sound out of your control. In addition, a lot of kinks are queer-linked in that a lot of attacks against said kinks are usually attacks at the greater queer community- think of when people complain about pup hoods or leather at pride marches, attempting to "sanitize" pride events, similar to how some people attempt to say "oh we have to make ourselves more presentable to everyone otherwise it'll make the lgbtq+ community look bad!" While I can't speak to any kinks in specific, I feel like this is a pretty good explanation to why radqueers are queer (aside from the very large overlap of other queer labels w/ radqueers)

It's no wonder Out happened when you really think about it. Nastya doesn't like organic life because it's complicated, it can break, sometimes it's even unfixable.
quote from gender rebels
Nastya is in love with Aurora, and in saying that she is saying "you are not organic life, I can deal with you because you are metal and algorithm and predictable" - we can see this in bedtime story when she says she'll tweak Aurora's story creation algorithm
screenshot from A Bedtime Story
Aurora is not inorganic. She is not ai. She is a space moon made of flesh and blood and teeth and bone. She is not an ai. She is a body that was taken and stripped of autonomy, of the right to self identify, of the right to think- to be imperfect and organic.
The metal is a veneer that hides how messy and traumatized and unfixable she is. From the outside she is a starship. From the inside she can still bleed.
And this makes them fundamentally incompatible. But yet, they are in love.
And really, it's no wonder Nastya fell in love with Aurora. Let's take a look at Nastya's home planet, or at least home society:
"Terminals were scattered across the planet. There was one on every street corner, one beneath every lamppost and one in every commune block." "The midwife-machine performs a series of programmed manœuvres to quieten [the baby]. It cradles it and hums at several pitches until it finds one that seems most soothing. Mechanical arms stroke the baby’s flesh even as others start the process of implanting augmented reality interfaces into its nervous system." "The Czar an atrophied frame, never present in the real world and worn to dust by the chemical compounds that kept his brain alive so it could live forever in a perfect virtual paradise. The Rabotnik a copy, a mind preserved unchanging in the instant before its death and placed in an everlasting metal frame." (Cyberian Demons)
Its safe to say the world Nastya was born into, from the very minute she was born, was ridden with technology. She has augmented reality interfaces inplanted into her from birth. It would stand to reason that being taken from this society, wherein technology is everywhere, inside and out, would stand for a bit of a shock.
Aurora too had been augmented by the Cyberia.
While it is stated that the last time Nastya had used the ports themselves was directly before her death — "The last time she had used the ports, her tutor had ripped them out of her as the rebels stormed the palace" — Aurora is laced with Cyberian technology. I'd imagine she has something of a 'bluetooth wireless connection' with Aurora, rather than the physical data transfer of files between the ports and Nastya, it may as well be similar enough.
Imagine being Nastya, going from Cyberia, wherein there is augmented reality contantly, transplanted onto a ship with metal blood, a jonny, and a vampire. To Aurora, where the only bits of augmented reality run through Aurora.
Of course she'd fall in love with her. Aurora is familiarity. Aurora isn't organic. Aurora isn't human.
And of course when the undeniable part of aurora that is organic, that is a flesh moon plated in metal with her brain hooked to machines, when so much has broken and been replaced, when, presumably, aurora is less of an algorithm, nastya leaves with the brand cyberia left on her.
Because Aurora healing, becoming more of herself and less of a starship, is messy, and organic, and human.
and hard for nastya.
‘Think how long she’s been flying you around. Think how many bullet holes you’ve punched through her and how many atmospheres you’ve dropped her through. Think how many alterations and improvements we’ve made, Tim to her guns and Ashes to her storage and Brian to her engines and the Toy Soldier to who knows what. How much do you think is left of her after all she’s brought you through?’ Nastya held up the ancient, battered piece of hull plating. Just visible under the grime and scars of particles of space junk was a fragment of the Aurora’s original logo and serial number. Jonny honestly couldn’t remember the last time he had seen a version that hadn’t been painted by the Mechanisms themselves. ‘So she’s free, now.’ Nastya gestured around at the spaceship they were standing in. ‘This Aurora can take you where you want to go. I’m going to take my Aurora somewhere else.’
Aurora was ship of theseus'd. Aurora was improved. Aurora was no longer cyberian. (both literally, and metaphorically)
So nastya left.

Disco Elysium has a lot of fascinating fictional technology but I have been rotating the radiocomputer in my mind for months now. From what I can gather, they operate in a way very similar to modern cloud computing. It doesn't seem like the mainframes we interact with have any processing capability. Instead, they use antennas to process "on air":
SOONA, THE PROGRAMMER - "Alright, well... All radiocomputers perform operations up on air, so in order to gain more processing power you need to invest in a *good antenna*."
The only information we get about what "on air" really means is from the same conversation with Soona:
YOU - "Wait, what's 'on air'?" SOONA, THE PROGRAMMER - "On the *front*. The unified front of radiowaves, licensed and controlled by Lintel in the East-Insulindic region." SOONA, THE PROGRAMMER - "It's all around us," she waves her hand, "that's what 'on air' means."
The nonspecific language used here really invokes cloud computing to me. I think there are two main possibilities for how this could work, one being much more likely than the other.
The more likely answer is that information is sent to and from the in-game equivalent of data centers, which would host massive computers with processing capabilities. I'm not sure what their processors would look like, but they'd almost certainly be analog (the lost Feld tape computers are most likely the in-game equivalent of early digital computers).
The significantly less likely (but more interesting) answer is that in-game radio waves are somehow capable of processing information on their own. I have no idea how this would work, and as far as I know there's no real-world analog. But it's clear the world of Disco Elysium has some crazy things happening with radio waves (see how they interact with the pale), so I'm not ruling it out entirely.
The filament memories are like hard drives, but my guess is they would function more similarly to an optical disc (CDs, DVDs), which use patterns in the disc to encode information that's read using lasers or light. The filaments glow inside the mainframe, so it's not a huge leap to assume they're read using light.
The amount of thought put into radiocomputers is so fascinating. As far as I can tell, their version of the internet has been wireless from the get-go, which makes perfect sense! Antennas and other wireless radio technologies would have to be pretty damn powerful to communicate across and force dimensions on the pale. And you have to assume huge amounts of government money has gone into funding their research and development for those purposes. The technology of radiocomputers is so tailored to the world of Disco Elysium, and it's been a lot of fun trying to untangle how exactly they would work.
#i would loooove to hear other people's thoughts on this!! i tried to find conversations abt it and didn't come up with much#also if anyone wants me to elaborate on the feld tape computer thing lmk... its a long post so i didn't want to go into more detail#but i do have Thoughts about it#cyan.txt#disco elysium#disco elysium meta#soona the programmer

Almost Human (TV series, 2013-2014) and Detroit: Become Human (video game, 2018) similarities. PART 2
Meeting the Creator. The founder of the robotics corporation, the most gifted roboticist of his generation. (What he's up to?)
"The Luger test" and "the Kamski test." Tests were created to identify defective androids.
Android children.
Dorian's and Markus' heterochromia (Dorian is malfunctioning here. His eyes are actually blue).
Android wakes the other android to give it a better life.
Androids question the meaning of life and are afraid of death.
Androids shut down due to being emotionally overwhelmed by the stressful situations.
Androids seem to have emotional connection.
Android abilities: facial recognition, biomedical scanner, chemical analysis, data tracking, the ability to speed read data, the ability to read other androids' memory, the ability to speak in different languages, singing, parkour ability, combat, wireless communication, voice mimicry, skin regeneration...
Android LED.
Interfacing.
Android hands.
Skinless androids.
Blue blood. Androids are blue-blooded.
Giraffes (giraffe became a symbol of the Almost Human fandom).
+Extra fun facts:
Almost Human was filmed in Canada. Show uses exterior shots of the city of Vancouver. Detroit: Become Human events are connected to Canada too.
Detroit Olympics 2036 were mentioned in one of the episodes of Almost Human.

Updated Ortho Facts Part 18: Ortho's Abilities (pt4)
When Kalim talks about Jamil wanting to take him to a theme park Ortho calculates the odds of such happening as “less than one percent,” and we also see him assigning percentages to how likely it is that the students will suffer injury if they do not do as Idia says during Book 6.
Ortho says he can predict most things through simulations and data crunching, “so it’s really nice when something unexpected happens.”
Ortho and Lilia complain together about the predictability of a Playfulland ride, with Ortho suggesting the implementation of randomized movements.
Ortho says that he enjoys research and gathering data.
Ortho is also equipped with a “built-in emergency magical disaster alert” which is triggered when he is wearing his Ignihyde gear. It is not specified if blot density increase detection is equipped only to his Ignihyde Gear or if it is something he can do regardless of the gear he wears. The alert goes to STYX.
Ortho will occasionally reference online searches that he performs, even offering to look up the physical address of Idia’s online game friend Muscle Red.
Ortho explains, “There's essentially no such thing as anonymity online for me.”
Ortho is also capable of QR code scanning and email. In his incorporeal state in Idia’s dream he is capable of connecting to wireless speakers and simple, non-technomantic electronics.
Ortho suffers his equivalent of falling unconscious in response to Malleus’ unique magic and escapes by uploading himself over the school’s public wi-fi.
He attempts to use the Land of Dawning’s network and undersea cables to send himself to STYX but fails due to Malleus’ energy field, which has stopped time.
Ortho notices Idia’s tablet and says it should support satellite broadband, as Idia designed it to connect with a STYX prototype communications satellite via an antenna that he secretly set up on a large tree behind the school.
