Whumpay 10 Days, 40 Words (five sentence fic mode) #3
“You look awful.”
“Thanks, so do you,” Hero replied, ever keeping up the witty banter.
Villain wasn’t bantering. “I mean it, Hero. How hard has the superhero agency been working you?”
Villain didn’t even absorb the deflective response Hero gave, too busy plotting how to get Hero out of there before their own agency destroyed them.

Kirbtober 2023 Day 4: Robot
(ID: Kirby series fanart of an Armoroid enemy lobbing a large fireball out of the top of its head. END ID.)
Kirbtober 2023 prompts by @/paintpanic (link to list here)
Started on 9/1/23, finished on 9/3/23, updated on 10/4/23. NOTE: This was originally posted on my deleted account on 10/04/23.
Drawing robots is not really my strong suit - I think I just prefer more organic shapes and designs - but I still like how this little guy came out. The fire was very fun to make.

Day 4
Niki breathed a sigh of relief as he punched out for the night, groceries in one hand and power bar in the other. It had been a long day between Crazy:B’s rehearsal that morning and having to cover a coworker’s shift at Cinnamon that night and he really just wanted to go home and sleep for 12 hours, but he knew he still had to make something for dinner (and feed Rinne to boot). Just the thought of having to cook for himself after the day he had soured his mood.
Niki ran through all of his quick meal prep options as he walked back to his dorm, only a little surprised that the door had been left open. Hiiro was prone to leaving it open when he left in a hurry so he brushed it off as that until--
“Niki-kyuuuuuuun!”
Niki groaned as Rinne pulled him inside, tossing aside the bag of groceries much to Niki’s dismay.
“Rinne-kun I’m really not in the mood right now!”
“Not even for two meal vouchers for an all you can eat buffet? One that hasn’t kicked us out yet too~.” Rinne had two tickets in his hand waving them temptingly in front of Niki. He was very much going to get away with gambling away Niki’s wallet again for the night, though Niki made sure to knock some sense into him in the morning.
Niki grabbed the tickets out of Rinne’s hand, already drooling at the thought. “You’re the best Rinne-kun! I love you so so so much!”
“Wh-I love ya’ too, Niki-kun.” Rinne was always bashful whenever Niki expressed any sort of affection and Niki thought it was the cutest thing ever. “Now let's get going! The night is young!”
