If someone told you that your ex would end up as a worldwide famous singer, you would believe them in a second.

Harry always had a thing for singing and he was really good at it so when he told you he wanted to audition for xfactor you were all in to support him.

He succeeded, like you knew he would, and was put in a band with four other boys. That was when your ways parted. He started writing songs, making album and had few little gigs to make their band known. And you wanted to focus on school, on your future.

As much as you both wanted to make it and keep your relationship alive, you knew it would be naive to hope for it. He was about to be famous and travel the world and you wanted to study and make a mark with your name in the world of medicine.

So you parted your ways and you haven’t heard of Harry or One Direction for some time, until two years later when they started becoming one of the bigger bands in the music industry.

He achieved it. You always knew he was made to be someone. He deserved to be someone.

He was kind, selfless and practically wore his heart on his sleeve. If someone was a good celebrity material, it was him.

Sometimes, you found yourself following his career, cheering on him and wishing him all the best.

Years were passing, One Direction went on a break that was lasting longer than they promised and all of the boys started to make their own history.

Harry just released his third own album and you couldn’t be happier for him, although you didn’t follow him as much as you used to.

Actually, you practically didn’t follow him at all. All you knew was what you heard on radio on your way from work to home.

You were achieving your goals too. You became a doctor, a good one, known in whole UK. You were young but you already did more than some older doctors.

Your name was well known in medical world and you couldn’t be happier with how your career worked out.

Although, sometimes you wished you chose some other life path.

For example, you wished it right now while looking at two teenagers sitting on a hospital bed. They were glued to themselves and it wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t glued with an actual glue. To make it worse, it was really old glue and it was causing health problems for both of the teenagers and one was about to pass out from all the coughing.

“Alright, we need to make sure that all their organs are okay, Marcus’ father said he saw them eating that glue.” you grimaced “Run all the tests and draw blood from both of them.” you ordered your interns who quickly went to patients.

Few hours later you were finally able to go home and you couldn’t wait to finally take a warm shower and change scrubs to comfortable pajama.

But first, you had to go grocery shopping. You were thinking about going home first to change but you knew if you get to home you wouldn’t be able to get out of bed again.

So now you were in the grocery store looking at all the cereal searching for your favorite ones. You finally noticed them but they were in completely other place. Usually, they were on a second shelf and now they were all the way up on the highest one. One that was too high for you to reach.

But you tried anyway. And you failed.

You heard a deep chuckle behind you and then a male voice “Need any help?”

You turned around with bright smile “Yes, please.”

Man, who looked weirdly familiar to you, reached a cereal cartoon without any struggle and handed it to you with a smile.

“Here.” you took the cartoon while he was looking at your face “Do I know you? You look familiar.” he stated and you searched his face to see something that would give you a clue who he was.

Then it hit you.

“Harry?” the man nodded “Oh my god, you changed so much.”

Man furrowed his brows and suddenly his eyes widened “Y/n?” you nodded with small smile “Oh god, it’s good to see you.” he hugged you.

“Visiting family?” you asked and he nodded “How’s famous life treating you?”

“Good, I just published my newest album.” he looked proud of himself and it was really adorable.

“I heard.” you nodded with a smile “Congratulations.”

“Thank you. Did you hear any songs?” he asked unsure.

“No, sorry. I don’t really have time for music. My life last few days looked like sleep, work, sleep, work, shopping, sleep and work.” you laughed and he smiled with amusement.

“Sounds like you, always so ambitious.” he looked over you “So how’s being a well known surgeon? I heard amazing things about you.”

“It’s… certainly something.” you nodded slowly “I love my work but some things I see… Damn.” you shrugged and he laughed.

“I’m happy you’re good, I thought of you few days ago.” Harry stated and you raised your brow.

“Mr. Famous thought about me? How flattering.” you teased and he chuckled “I have to go home, my bed is calling but we should meet someday when you will be in town.” you offered and he nodded vigorously with a grin.

“I’m staying for a few weeks at my mum’s, we can arrange something. We definitely should catch up. Here, give me your number.” he handed you his phone and you added your contact.

“Well then, see you around Harry. And thanks for your help.” you flashed him with a smile which he returned and you went to a cash station.

Next day you got a text from an unknown number which turned out to be Harry’s number. He asked when you had time to meet.

Finally, you both decided to meet on a Saturday. To make it funnier, Harry offered to meet at the coffee shop that you often visited while being together.

On a Saturday you felt nervous. You didn’t see him for a long time and you weren’t sure how it would turn out, if you even will be able to maintain an interesing conversation without it being awkward.

But here you were, sitting in front of Harry, drinking tea and eating delicious muffins while talking and laughing about old times.

“I never thought that the audition would turn out this well.” he admitted with small smile.

“I knew it would.” you stated “You’re too good to not be noticed, although your hey sister was terrible.” you snickered and he smiled amused.

“I was nervous!” he huffed “If it wasn’t for you I’m not sure if I would actually get on that stage, you were my lucky charm.”

You looked at him with a touched smile “I was cheering for you even when we weren’t talking anymore.” you admitted “I always knew you would be someone important and look at you, you’re saving teenagers’ lives and make great music.”

You could see faint blush on his cheeks and the bashful smile was just cute.

“Well, I guess I wouldn’t be where I’m if not your cheering.” he chuckled “I only regret that our ways parted. I wish we maintained contact. I missed you.”

“I missed you too Harry.” you said hoping you didn’t blush “But at least we’re here now and it feels good.”

“Yeah it does.” he agreed with a smile that made your heart race. You knew that smile, he was sending it your ways on daily basis when you were together. It was this cute smirk with dreamy eyes and it just made you feel weak in knees.

Apparently some things never change, because it made you feel just the same as years ago.

And you’re not sure how it happened but next morning you woke up with Harry’s bare chest as your pillow.

But you weren’t complaining.

“Seriously?” you laughed while making breakfast with Harry. He was talking about the time when he was in One Direction “I always thought that it was just a song about good song.”

“Well, most of ours song had hidden dirty meaning.” he laughed too.

“What about your songs? Any dirty meanings?” you teased and he blushed.

Your morning together turned to spending whole day together.

“You can stay for the night.” you offered when he said he should get going.

“I don’t want to bother you.” he giggled.

“You’re not bothering, I like having you here.” you admitted and you were praying to not blush when he smirked at you.

“Good to know. I will gladly stay if you’re sure.” he said “But let me know if you will be sick of me.”

“That wouldn’t be possible.” you rolled your eyes hitting his chest with your hand which he catched and squeezed in his bigger one “You’re the sweetest person alive, you would have to kill my dog to make me hate you.”

“Sure.” now he rolled his eyes “You have a dog?”

“No.” you pouted “I wish but I’m rarely home and I wouldn’t want to leave a dog alone.” you explained and he nodded in understanding “What about you? Any pets?”

“Not really, I’m also rarely home when touring.” he shrugged.

And somehow this conversation turned into talking about his songs.

“And which ones do you like?” he looked at you with a small smile. You wouldn’t admit it out loud but in last few days his songs were on repeat so you wouldn’t be in dark when he would be talking about his career.

“Hm, I really like Carolina and little freak.” you stated after a moment of thinking. You noticed how Harry moved weirdly after your words “Is there something wrong?” you asked worriedly.

“No no.” he assured you “What do you like about Carolina?” he tilted his head looking curiously at you while still holding your hand.

“I don’t know, I just like it.” you shrugged “Why are you asking?”

“You didn’t notice, did you?” he laughed.

“Notice what?” you smiled with small confusion.

“Carolina, Adore you, Only Angel, Woman?” he furrowed his eyes.

“What about them?”

“God, woman. They are about you.” he huffed with amusement and your eyes widened.

“What?” you were sure you were a blushing mess at the moment.

“Carolina? It’s literally your description, you moved because your grandmother offered you and your parents to, you always had books with you and liked to compare life to books.” he explained “Oh, and you have cousins in Carolina!”

All he said was true and you actually realized it in fact was actually a song about you.

“Why would you wrote about me?” you asked quietly playing with his fingers.

“I was so in love with you. My first ever song that I writed was about you.” he admitted “Only angel. I changed it a bit before releasing it because I was teenager while I wrote and it was a slight disaster but it turned out great.”

“I’m not sure what to say.” you chuckled “Adore you is about me?”

“Yeah, I would go through hell for you.” he stated and you noticed that he didn’t use past tense.

“So am I so kind of inspiration for you?” you teased but he answered completely seriously.

“Yeah, you are big inspiration. Most of my songs have something about you in them even if they aren’t exactly about you.” he admitted bashfully “I was completely head over heels for you. And I think I still adore you.”

And if you were his inspiration for next lovely album that he made as a gift for you for your first anniversary, that’s just a bonus.

HS Love on Tour - T unseen. Deux Moi reports she went to Wembley

Reputation - H unseen. Harry was in Tokyo when the last Reputation date was also there. Plays emotional set of surprise songs are wildest dreams (1 of 3 times she played it on the Rep tour) and So it goes (one of 8 times it has ever played live), dancing with our hands tied and I know places. Harry writes little freak in Tokyo and leaked ophelia (I feel ya) that refers to staring at her in Tokyo, watching her move, missing her and fantasising.

HS Live on Tour - T unseen. They were both in Chicago and played shows on 28 June (Taylor) and 30 June (Harry). In Taylors show she told the odd story about being with someone 2 NYE ago and jumping into icy waters which Taylor Nation edited out then later Joe did exposition for that to be about him. Harry's suit for that show was copied in the Me! music video. At Harry's next show (St Paul) is the one with a very well known Medicine performance and he said "running with you" instead of "running with wolves" in MMITH, then he broke up with Camille.

1989 - H unseen. Ironically, I think this is the one I think he probably he didn't go to. If he did, I think it was around June 6 as they were both in London and Harry posted in colour to IG. see 2015 timeline

Take Me Home - T unseen. They were both in Pennsylvania for a week 6 July, Taylor had the next week off and was not seen. on the 8th July Harry threw up on stage.

This is different from the other ask I just sent you, but everyone needs to remember that we can't judge the relationships during the band as fact when absolutely none of them were real.

Zayn dated and got engaged to Perrie. Perrie was from another up-and-coming band under Syco and won the Xfactor. Zayn had dated a girl during the Xfactor, so his dating another girl didn't seem so farfetched. Perrie and Little Mix got a fuck ton of promotion from being associated with One Direction, from ticket sales to album sales, especially outside of the UK. They probably would have been ok in the UK, but the exposure to the rest of the world through Zerrie was really helpful.

Liam had two relationships during the band. Danielle Panzer and Sophia Smith. Danielle was already a dancer on the Xfactor, attempting to find fame in various ways. Placing her with Liam put her name out there to the entire world; I remember she tried modeling for a little bit, but they ultimately broke up after the Up All Night Tour (I think). Sophia was different. She was Liam's childhood friend, and they seemed to have a comradery from their shared experiences and growing up together. However, Sophia also attempted to be a model in the UK during their relationship, as Liam Payne's girlfriend got her exposure. She was known to the fandom as a model and often spent time with Perrie and Eleanor when they were all supposed to be with the boys.

Harry and Louis were obvious with Harry's winter girlfriends, and Louis openly looked miserable with Eleanor during the majority of their relationships, the first time and the second.

Niall was different than all of them; other than Harry, he was supposed to be the single one. The available one, for the fans to think they had a chance with. Similar to how Harry was treated in the Media. Niall also admitted more recently that he'd been in a relationship from 17 to 19 but wasn't allowed to tell the fans because it would ruin his available image.

While I could definitely believe that Liam and Zayn are both some level of queer since they had fake relationships too. I think the only true relationships in the band besides Larry are (Niall and Amelia) Zayn and Gigi. I have reason to believe that Liam and Cheryl were more of a friend asking another friend to be the father of their child since, compared to the rest of Liam's relationships, Cheryl is the only one who seemed to care about him when he got sick last August/September. Though this is just my opinion about the whole thing since every relationship regarding this band has been shady.

I honestly couldn’t say whether Zayn’s and Liam’s relationships were designed to boost publicity or if it was two people with a similar lifestyle and the beneficial side effect of PR.

However, fake dating for publicity is a common marketing tactic, and I don't see why Modest Management wouldn't use that effective strategy with as many members of the band as possible, regardless of their sexual orientation.

Oh God, Cheryl and Liam? They were such an odd pair. They always made me scratch my head. And naming the kid Bear, when RBB/SBB were literally the babygate mascots just a year or so before… seriously, what were they thinking? 🫠

I don’t believe in BG either bc the Briana pregnancy was so messy however this whole storyline everyone has made up for Louis if it was real really confuses me? Everyone talks about how if it’s real he must be a shit dad because he didn’t pay attention to him for years but how would anyone know that?

We’re all quick to say Louis and Harry are still together and we haven’t seen them together since 2016 because everything is private and due to their closet. But it would be the same for Louis and Freddie if he was his dad, it would be private? When Louis goes MIA, we genuinely have no idea where he is or what he’s doing. If it did happen to be real, then he could be with the child in private and not going places that he knows he would be seen by fans or paparazzi? It’s not like paparazzi follow his every move anymore aswell and they haven’t for years now.

Look I’m not trying to argue, I agree about BG however I just don’t understand this argument everyone has made up if Freddie did happen to be his because it just makes us look like other idiot fans who come up with narratives to suit them.

Okay this is a perfectly understandable argument and follows really great logic, except I was here in 2016. I don’t know if you were but anyone who is here in 2015/2016 can tell you that this argument doesn’t hold up because of what was happening in 2016 and things we were informed of by Louis himself/witnessed happen in real time.

In 2016 we essentially had a live feed of where Freddie was at all points in time. He was either being papped on Tuesdays with Louis and Danielle so we could see Louis “hung out with him” or he was being live-streamed by Briana/the Clarks. When fans say “Louis only spent 1 hour with Freddie in a parking lot on his first Father’s Day” that is a verifiable fact. Louis got papped in a parking lot with the Clarks. His father’s day pic is of him holding Freddie’s hand in a car seat. The rest of the day Freddie was in videos with Brett and Tammi, and Louis was off doing OTHER SHIT.

The day of Freddie’s first birthday they posted a video of Briana and Freddie and Louis in a house that was ALREADY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE because Briana had moved out of the house she lived in in 2016 but we still got a video from there and then Louis posted live video of himself at a concert.

Louis (and Niall) told us in 2016 that Louis did not have overnight permission. Freddie NEVER spent the night with him as a child. Even when they flew Freddie, Briana and Ashley to the UK for Jay and the XFactor Freddie stayed with Briana the entire time barring one afternoon with the twins. The most basic parental job is being with your baby when they sleep. Louis has NEVER done that. They waited until Freddie was 5ish to ship him off to the UK for holiday which is roughly the age in America a lot of white people start allowing their kids to spend the night with non-family.

Again I completely understand what you are saying. We don’t know everything. We can’t tell what the boys are doing in their spare time. Now. In 2022. But in 2015 and 2016 this was not the case. And in hindsight we now have a pretty good idea that the times we didn’t see Louis in 2016 he was with his mom in the UK. Where Freddie could not be, verifiably, because he didn’t get a passport - which btw the Clark’s very much implied getting a passport was not something they were ever going to get for Freddie - until November 2016 as an emergency order due to Jay’s passing, that the Clarks had no idea was happening.

Let me repeat that again: a British celebrity had a child with a normal American citizen. That child did not get a passport until he was forced to travel to the UK for a dying family member, that the mother’s family had no idea had been terminally ill for 3/4s of the year. Louis did not include the Clarks or Freddie in his family plans in 2016 until he absolutely had to. That is not “good parent” behavior. He didn’t start “taking care” of Freddie until he was out of being a toddler because we can do the same tracking method in 2017.

In 2017 he spent a lot of time in England and with Eleanor. Eleanor has never met Freddie. The one time she’s been to LA since BG started she was on IG stories posting her every fucking move so we knew she was NOT WITH FREDDIE. God help me I wish they did meet because I have been BEGGING for a pic of the two of them for years because you just know it’s gonna be suffering.

That is 2 years where Louis and Freddie were Very Easily Tracked. You could see where they were and what they did and if they were together with pretty good accuracy. That’s not the case anymore but it was the case back then. And that’s why we say if this was real Louis is a shit father because he didn’t start doing anything different until Freddie was at LEAST 3 or 4.

regarding the rob stringer ask that you answered, i was wondering why is rob stringer such a big deal.? also, this kinda got me intrigued, curious and angry(blacklisting of louis from uk radio) so i went on to research for myself and i fumbled upon this article: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-51360192

it was the very first article that showed up, i didn't even need to dig, and it's directly by BBC, so is this BBC not the same as BBC radio or what..?

it's a little confusing for me cuz in my country nobody really pays any mind to radios and what they are playing and we usually stay tuned to our fave artists via tv shows, social media or simply music apps etc etc

Hi love. Rob Stringer is “a big deal” because he was head of Columbia when 1D were together and then head of Sony (parent company of Columbia) when Harry went solo (and Louis got stuck with Syco). So he’s had his fingers all over whatever contracts were signed by all of the guys, and most likely had plenty of decision making power over the closeting of HL and the blocking of Louis’ solo career.

BBC Radio and BBC TV are both divisions of the British Broadcasting Company. Louis having that disastrous interview on the Morning Show wasn’t the beginning of his being blocked from BBC radio. I think his blacklisting and image damage extends as far back as XFactor and Simon Cowell. There are many people involved and I don’t know if you can really point a finger at Simon or Rob Stringer and say that’s this is the key person responsible for it all. But, him appearing on that show and that article being written is just part of a very complex pattern of abuse he’s been subject to.

As for radio being important… I really don’t know why it seems to make a difference. I do think being nominated for The Brits or The Grammys doesn’t have without radio airplay and even if we know The Grammys are bullshit, it’s still great advertising and it’s still seen as prestigious in that you’re “accepted” by the music industry insiders.

But I think when people complain about him being blacklisted, they mean that he’s almost entirely absent from everything—radio for sure, but also radio concert events like Jingle Bell Ball/Summertime Ball, British talk shows like Graham Norton etc., British award shows (even the Rolling Stone UK award show was tainted by his performance being removed and his interview being publicized using Harry’s name).

I don’t buy into a lot of the stuff some solo fans talk about in terms of Louis’ career blockades, but for an artist who has such an ardent fanbase to be shut out of so many ways of advancing his career, you can’t help but assume there’s something underhanded happening.

I’m wondering if you could give us (I’m hoping I’m not alone with these lacunae) a quick overview of the 1D tours in chronological order, album they were promoting AND the aesthetics (that sofa? the cartoon graphics? the jungle gym stage?). It’s still a bit of a “long time ago” jumble for me… and I can kinda tell by how long Harry’s hair is or how flowery his outfits when something happened, but I’ve never sat down to piece it together. And the way I imagine you to be, you’ll just know it off the top of your head!

So I am going to make this small so it fits better. So before we had Up All Night, which was their first album in 2011, that started with WMYB as its main single, One Direction was on the XFactor Tour, which ran from February to April of 2011. They didn't really have any special arrangements for their stage there because they were not the only act performing.

Following the release of Up All Night in November of 2011, the boys embarked on their Up All Night Tour in December 2011, with the UK and Ireland tour. They spent the first half of the year on this Tour, going around the world and touring with Big Time Rush in the United States. This was the tour that had the boys sitting on a couch. It also had plenty of silly moments due to the introduction of Twitter questions.

This tour went on until July of 2012, which was in line with the next release. LWWY came out in August of 2012, leading to a massive push to break the United States with Little Things in October and a set of concerts in Madison Square Garden in December 2012.

The next tour was the Take Me Home Tour which was named after the album that came out in Nov. 2012. The tour began on 23 February 2013 in London, England, and concluded on 3 November 2013 in Chiba, Japan. This was the tour of the crazy superhero graphics and the floating stage between the A stage and B stage in the crowd.

The final stage set was the massive jungle gym-looking set used for the Where We Are tour and the On The Road Again Tour. It featured a bunch of insane-looking pathways to run around on and a B stage that rose from stage level to about a story up so the entire stadium could see them. This stage was used during the stadium tours, with its massive screens and walkway allowing the boys to run around and be seen by everyone. The behind-the-scenes for the movie from San Siro shows just how huge the stage was. The stage colors changed from red to blue and yellow between the two tours.

Now, he could have chosen November 15th for many reasons. But here’s on possible reason, dating from Nov. 15, 2012:

One Direction leave NYC for London on November 14th (for an event on the 16th) without Harry. Where is he? Flying to Los Angeles to surprise Blondie. He even watches her Xfactor US rehearsal, waiting until the last possible time to fly back to the UK for his work commitment.

So: maybe it’s another date of significance he wanted to commemorate?

Louis is the only 1d guy who finished the school?

No not really. The UK has a different school system. They finish regular school at 16, which is what the 1D boys all did. Harry mentions it during his xfactor audition, he had just graduated.

After they finish school they have Sixth Form, where they have more advanced courses and can choose to focus more on subjects they like, then take the A Levels test to go to University. Sixth Form is also called “college”. I guess you can think of it as like pre-university prep.

I think Louis is the only one who did Sixth Form, that’s where he was in the Grease musical. Maybe Liam did part of his too, but dropped out when he went back to xfactor, not sure.

I’m actually surprised Liam has never done the Masked Singer, unironically I think it’s something that would make a lot of sense for him - gives him an opportunity for new and/or old audiences to hear his (boring but on a technical level pretty decent) voice without the preconceived opinions that his name brings to those who may already know it and without being dragged down by his own bad music since it would just be covers

I also just kinda struggle to see him successfully explore anything else in the industry (which is kind of sad considering it would only be a one-time thing)- he’s not a good enough songwriter to do that full time, he doesn’t have the business sense or maturity to pursue the business side of the entertainment industry, he doesn’t have the acting skills to pursue that, he doesn’t have a likeable enough personality to properly go into TV like eg Kelly Clarkson, he’s also not passionate enough to pursue something else eg Victoria Beckham’s fashion company or Niall’s golf company or Cody Simpson’s swimming career, he’s also not gonna pursue academics like Bridget Mendler, the only things I can imagine him *maybe* doing is something along the lines of like when Olly Murs was an xfactor host (and I’m specifically referring to when he was a host not his stint as a coach on the voice uk) or how Baby Spice is/was a radio host?

It’s so interesting when you consider the fact Liam was the one in This Is Us to bring up that he was kind of excited by the idea that post 1D he could go back and live a relatively normal life

I don't think Liam is quick witted enough to present or host a TV show. He'd struggle with reading the autocue at the same time as listening to instructions from the producers on his headphones, plus coming up with his own chat. It's not an easy job.

Why is 2010 your cut off point? 23-year-old Will Young won Pop Idol in 2002 and came out as gay the next day. Sony still signed him and he had a great career. Joe McElderry won XFactor in 2009 and also came out. They were both signed to Sony, both young and handsome but nobody stopped them coming out.

It was my cut off point because that's when 1d signed. Will Young was never popular outside the UK. Sony also signed him because he won, that was his price for winning. Joe McElderly was never popular outside the UK either. I can't even name one song of them each and i watched both those shows. They didn’t have thousands of young teenage fans throwing themselves at them. Will and Joe had more grown and mature fans (who didn’t project their fantasies upon them). They were primarily good singers, but had little to offer in showmanship and charisma. They both peaked not long after their winning season. They came out, but nobody is talking about either of them now.

Also, as i've said before it's not H or L being gay that's the problem here. It's that they are a couple. With 1d, txf saw the surge in their popularity and signed them even though they came in third place. The label saw the potential to break America and become known world wide. Because of the labels ambitions and 1d's lack of bargaining power coming in third place, they were placed under stricter conditions. Maybe Syco/Sony also learned from Will and Joe coming out, who knows. Either way i don't think it's very comparable.

I'm so lost about it all because I thought I read somewhere that larries believe they got married in Australia but was gay marriage even legal there at the time?? Is that tweet actually about Haylor?

I am so glad you asked, I have posted about this in the Anniversary post, but it deserves it's own post. Grab a cup of tea I care too much about this date. Harry and Taylor treat it as an anniversary. It is likely 2012 they mark, but could be 2011:

2011 - Taylor had a show in Utah and Harry was not seen. He was in the US though, One Direction started filming Gotta be you in Upstate New York on the 29th. Prior to this, they had been in the same city a lot, a few signs they were interacting from Taylors concerts. This is however before their generally considered meeting.

2012 - Harry and Taylor were MIA, she filmed Begin Again MV in Paris on the 30th, Harry was seen in London on the 24th then disappears but appears in LA with Ed Sheeran on the 1st, after Taylor left for Paris. The rest of the band stayed in the UK, for example Louis was seen with Eleanor on the 30th. Paris is frequently referred to in their songs and videos. If not 2011 this is the date they mark. They had been connected since the VMAs earlier in the month, so perhaps it was becoming more serious. Harry marked the occasion with his Love Banner Tattoo which is in the I Knew You Were Trouble and Kiss You Music Videos, now covered by the larger Swallow.

2013 - Larries

On 2013 (US time) Harry tweeted these lyrics from My Old Man by one of Taylor's fav's, Joni Mitchell. At the time he was in Australia on tour with One Direction. One Direction had just returned from a break, where Harry & Taylor reunited at the VMAs, Harry was MIA while Taylor toured the US and Zayn got engaged. Having just had a break in countries with loved ones in countries with marriage equality any union would have happened in that break.

I think with Zayn's engagement on his mind, missing his girlfriend Harry posted this tweet on their anniversary. Harry spent the night gambling alone and Louis was sick as he lost his voice, presumably he was resting because they had shows. As you say, Australia's Marriage Equality Act was not until December 2017. Additionally at this time the boys were not having fun, they were chaperoned by police.

As you note this tweet caused some confusion in Larries, mostly because a few days later Harry's mum congratulated the Xfactor host Louis on a judging decision and Ed Sheeran congratulated a different friend who got married close to then.

In the years since:

2014 - 1D had a show in Charlotte, Taylor had a Secret Session in Nashville, generally 1989 Secret Sessioners talked about how much she loved the guy the album was about. They had just been MIA when both went from LA to London 2 weeks earlier. Promo for 1989 was underway and Rolling Stone Articles that led to Fools Gold were fresh.

2015 - Taylor was dating Calvin Harris. Harry talked to fans on stage about anniversary sign where the fan got married 5 years after their first kiss. Taylor also gave a pointed Clean speech in St Louis where she said "losing somebody that ... you thought you would be spending the rest of your life with. [...] the worst part about having your heart broken, or feeling betrayed, or losing someone, having somebody change their mind and walk away from you, is that it makes you regret those things you did in the beginning when you fell in love."

2016 - Joe shippers & Gaylors

On 28 September 2016 Taylor hung out with Cara in NY who spent the night at her apartment so 2 more fandom subsets claimed the date. 😂 Joe was last seen in London.

2016 - Harry released the Another Man Mixtape on the 29th, with 10 songs that reference the future HS1 or love, Harry was last seen in LA and not seen for weeks.

2017 - Harry released Two Ghosts as a Spotify Single with a cover of Girl Crush. He also performed them in Nashville 2 days before. Taylor responded to Harry's 2016 Mix Tape with a 70 song "Taylor Loves" Spotify Playlist. Every 7 and 20 song had a link to Harry.

2018 - on 13 April Taylor responded to the Two Ghosts Spotify Single by releasing a Delicate Vertical Video and Spotify Single cover of September where Taylor changed the lyric to "do you remember the 28th Day of September". The original press release said "the month of September is especially meaningful to one of her relationships" and as reported by Variety that was then edited out when fans got obsessed. On the 28 September Taylor played Wonderland as a Surprise Song on the Reputation Tour (one of 6 ever plays).

Toe-shippers then jumped on the bandwagon and they didn't mark it for years.

2021 - on 29 September and 1 October - Harry played Nashville in a white satin suit, when he played with his rings and performed To be So Lonely! Taylor had been in London for a wedding in September but was back in Nashville by the 1st. Harry also recorded Satellite this stop.

To add: multiple times she posted about that damn ring within 1 week, close ups &stories showing it off, a few days later Harry was wearing it (so obviously staged). then all „organic fan pics“ of them „alone“ dropped all while 1 of her friends (1 specifically (Lauren cohen)) posted from same location & always quickly deleted her posts when people found out.safe to say that her friend took most of „organic fan pics“. Or the time she posted cows from out of a train to show off that she was in England🙄. Can’t forget that embarrassing „photoshoot“ of Harry taking pics with fans around New Year’s Day 2018 & holding her coat in every damn pic instead of her holding/wearing her coat herself (they were with Jeff/Winston’s) (coat she posted herself in end of December). how she never stayed at Harry’s place in London, bc she always was with her friends at a hotel/Airbnb (her friend posted multiple times). Or when she showed up uninvited to music cares thing when Anne celebrated her bday & everyone but her was wearing yellow flower crowns & she was just brought out to audience for 1-2 songs & then was gone again. Did I mention the times she „joined“ tour when he was the most busiest & literally didn’t have time? Example: beginning of November 2017. After music cares thing she was uninvited at, Harry kept his distance a bit & went on to tour Europe & looked more at ease than ever in last few months, also not wearing that red stunt ring. Then she turned up all of a sudden in Europe on tour after she had that insta meltdown (grocery shop bag photoshoot, insta story’s singing sott, wearing the necklace, most of her friends wearing somewhat Harry related costumes for Halloween etc) & of course posted about being in Europe! Yet she turned up & was gone like after UK X factor performance again (she had a shoot in LA, someone posted her being on set, meaning she had to leave right after his xfactor UK perform!) so why not turn up earlier when he actually had time? Or later when he was off again?? She didn’t attend any of his LDN or Manchester shows, not in 2017 nor 2018! Weird for being a „gf“ & missing out on ALL of his homeshows, huh? There’s so much more but I just wanted to show people how both (the Hamille and Holivia stunt) are really similar! The only difference is that the Hamille thing was to make it look more organic and consisted of mostly her trolling & announcing her whereabouts & introducing new stunt stuff „lowkey“ & to create a narrative for an album. Where’s the Holivia thing was right in our face yet Harry made sure she was not allowed to post directly about him. The few times cockburn tried, she had to take it down (pickle gate & his bday etc). Harry was obviously way more annoyed from Cockburn than he was from Camille, even though you can see that he didn’t mind Camille at the beginning & probably tried being friends, but this also changed the more annoying she got. not a coincidence that stunt stuff was changed & that Camille & O were allowed different things & that O moulded herself into a Camille lookalike after that Fine Line narrative… & I also KNOW that Camille saying she wished she could „tell her side of story“ doesn’t mean „Harry being an ass“ rather a NDA preventing her from spilling beans about PR stunt.
