Governments and corporations put a shit ton of effort into keeping us feeling overwhelmed, cause overwhelmed people are too drained to put up a real fight. The point of trying is you being happy. That is worth it. The point is you can spread that joy. The point is to make a difference while you can. The point is that yeah, the world may be going to hell in a handbasket and you're just one person but you are a whole ass person. Who doesn't have to take this shit lying down. You want to live your life but are terrified of what might happen if you do. You feel like the world is a scary place and it can be sometimes, but you're so scared of truly stepping into the world, you never let yourself be or do much. It's like y'all are super fuckin excited for the road trip but are so scared of what may be around any turn, you just keep going on the same road letting it take you wherever it does. To get anywhere you want to go you have to make some choices. Yea, they may not always turn out how you planned but here's the thing: You will be okay. What you need to do to navigate your life? I'm sorry, y'all are gonna hate this advice but trust yourself. Sweetie, you are so much more capable than you give yourself credit for, hell you may not have any knowledge of your full capabilities cause you've never let yourself reach them. Condemning one side for genocide while ignoring the other side chanting "gas the Jews" is a special kind of irony.

i don't have the energy to respond to this right now. i never once said i approved of or condoned hamas. hamas is a terror organization and any and all killing of human beings is wrong. however you are listening to propaganda. most of the sensationalized headlines about hamas, specifically the beheading one have all been proven to be fake and have literally no evidence. hamas does not represent the palestinian people or the people of gaza. and yet the genocidal israeli government has decided to indiscriminately punnish all 2.1 million people living in gaza for the horrific actions of hamas. this is called collective punishment and it is literally defined as a war crime. gaza's population is 50% children. gaza is the world's largest concentration camp and open air prison. it has been under military blockade for the past 16 years. israel controls the food water electricity fuel movement of people and everything else going in and out of gaza.

this is a walled off open air prison that is extremely densely populated, extremely poor, and full of children. and israel is depriving the entire population of food, clean water, electricity, and carpet bombing them, using banned illegal chemical weapons, refusing to allow in humanitarian aid. they have bombed hospitals, bombed residential buildings, bombed people fleeing after israel told them to evacuate (but joke was on them because they can't evacute since there's no where to go because israel controls all the check points and refuses to let palestinians out, instead trapping them in gaza while there's still no electricity or water or food or any other supplies coming in.

and then don't even get me started on the propaganda israel has been using to demonize and dehumanize palestinians. the defense minister literally called all palestinians "human animals" and said israel would treat them as such. top government officials have released images depicting palestinians as cockroaches and insects needing to be exterminated. they have referred to all gazan's as terrorists to justify their massacre of them.

this is fucking genocide. this is exactly what the nazi's did to jewish people. this is genocide. this is genocide. this is genocide. i have not heard a single palestinian person directing hatred at jewish people. (which is not to say that there has been no antisemitism going on, because there absolutely has, and I wholeheartedly despise it). however i have heard them criticize the israeli government for its depravity and cruelty and literal fucking war crimes it is gleefully committing.

criticizing israel for committing genocide is not antisemetic. criticizing a government for doing horrific evil highly illegal things against international law and against literally all moral humanity and human decency is not antisemetic. it is literally the morally right thing to do. what israel is doing is evil.

there are jewish people who agree wholeheartedly that israel's illegal occupation of palestine and their apartheid and ethnic cleansing are horrific. because they are.

and because you asked, the reason i'm breaking the 'no politics' rule is because of the responses from people like you. so many people have bought into israel's propaganda and their dehumanization of palestinians. there is so much islamophobia that any time people hear a single critique of israel, they jump in to condemn hamas and say 'oh so you support hamas' 'what about hamas' 'so you approve of people wanting to kill jews', demonstrating the insane racist mental gymnastics they are doing by literally mentally equating all palestinians with terrorists who deserve to be killed. and this is so widespread. people and all the world governments are sitting back and watching as this happens without lifting a goddamn fucking finger. with ukraine and russia, everyone jumped in to defend ukraine and support them and condemn russia. immediately. but it's radio fucking silence for palestinne. because of racism and islamophobia and because people are too cowardly to take a stand and risk pissing off all the masses of misinformed racist islamophobic biased people who support israel. and not only are people not fucking talking about it (or only talking about poor innocent israel and their right to 'defend themselves' which is the biggest fucking load of shit ever), almost all of our governments are actively funding israel's military. the very same fucking military that is literally committing a genocide right now.

I can't tell if part of the reason people don't recognize Biden's accomplishments is because society is so shallow and easily swayed by loudness over depth, or because Biden is just too quiet and prone to focusing on the idea that his actions speak louder than his words.

Like yeah, the latter thing is important, but we live in a REALLY shallow society; maybe a bit more bragging about your substantial achievements would be helpful here.

I get what you're saying here, but this kind of thing always seems to hinge on "the Democrats need to be doing more/Biden needs to be saying more/the Democrats are not doing it right/etc," and I just don't think that's the actual problem. Yes, in the past the Democrats have relied on the tactic of just doing good things and hoping that people will notice enough to vote for them, but that TORPEDOED them in 2010 (they didn't aggressively defend/market the Affordable Care Act, the Tea Party crazies got to set the narrative about GOVERNMENT OVERREACH, and they got shellacked so badly that they didn't control the House again for the rest of Obama's time in office). Fortunately, they have awoken to the fact that we live in a corporate noise machine owned and operated by cartoonishly villainous billionaire oligarchs who don't care if the country is pushed into fascism as long as they get their tax breaks, and where the average voter is well conditioned by said media to accept the BOTH SIDES BAD narrative without question.

Whether it's true or not is beside the point; if you flood the zone with enough BS, people act as if it is. See all those polls about how people think the Democrats are "too liberal" more than they think the GOP is "too conservative," even though only one of those parties is actively trying to end democracy. See the people who think Trump and Biden are equally ethically compromised. Etc. etc. Biden has already been considerably vocal about his accomplishments, has given several major speeches about the danger to democracy (which he did just the other day), but it is already so filtered and twisted in a radioactively toxic media atmosphere that just talking more or trying to trumpet more isn't going to help.

The DC media is full of a bunch of narcissists who like to make false equivalences and also openly hanker for Trump to be back in office because it makes them more relevant; they get to break juicy exposes and shocking headlines and whatever else, that gets more clicks, they get more exposure, etc. Biden is (as noted) boring, as in he's not on Twitter every day saying something ludicrous (and if he said even ONE ludicrous thing, far less the nonstop stream of BS that Trump constantly spews and which somehow still makes the media yell about how BIDEN should be the one to step aside, he'd be toast), and just does the job. That's not very Sexy and Marketable. When he talks about how he's doing the job and what he plans to do next, the media is too busy commissioning a dozen bullshit Horserace!!! polls and talking about how, in case we haven't noticed, he is 80 and that is somehow, implicitly, a more disqualifying fact than Trump's 91 goddamn serious treason-level felonies, including for literally trying to overthrow the government. Our politics and civic society have been so irreparably poisoned that actual competence is completely beside the point and makes a normal president less appealing than one who's just insane all the time. Everything's just a game show! Everyone's opinions are equal! Live in all the alternate universes you want! Who cares if we accidentally end democracy? Just another headline!

This is likewise not helped by the fact that in this relentlessly commodified social-media universe, Republicans are constantly on message and united behind their candidates, no matter how openly fucking awful they are, while leftists/liberals/Democrats (and people who claim to be) are constantly tearing into and criticizing their candidates in a way that makes Joe and Jane Low Information Voter even more susceptible to believing the "Both Sides" narrative -- after all, if the Democrats are attacking the Democrats, they really must be bad! Yes, we are not in a cult and therefore are able to have an actual discussion about things, but this falls into the "We're Just Holding Them Accountable!!" line that is just an excuse for ripping the Democrats even more than any of those people ever criticize or actively oppose the Republicans.

Hence all these braindead takes about how Biden should step aside, Biden should drop Harris, Biden should do X Y and Z and this is all his fault, instead of anyone remotely trying to come to grips with the extreme polarization and fascism of the other side. I keep yelling about it, and a lot of other people I respect keep yelling about it, because yet again, we've learned fucking nothing from 2016 and we're teetering on a repeat of it. See how all these Online Leftists want to scream and yell about Biden ending the train strike, and then somehow never seem to have heard that he kept working with the unions for months afterward and got their sick days. Even the people who, in a remotely more functional political landscape and/or if they possessed one (1) working brain cell, would vote for the Democrats get their endless jollies and moral holier-than-thous by absolutely incinerating them. Who needs the Republicans, when these guys will do it for you?

Anyway. Because America is a land of morons manipulated by billionaire corporate interests, just doing the right thing and hoping people notice enough to vote for you is not enough. It was the middle of the day. Yn had been swamped in work. Since defeating Jeanine and helping the tris take down the burea, yn and Tobias had gone back to dauntless.

Tobias stuck to training iniates, yn however. That was a different story.

Yn started sending reports into the burea about how the 'factions' we're doing, (you got to choose a faction or living beyond the gate), she also helped Tobias with iniates, and she gave a lot of private lessons.

Tobias started feeling, feverish and his throat was throbbing, and itchy. He didn't want to bother yn, she already was extremely overwlemed.

He finished training and went to bed early.

Yn walks into their shared apartment at 1am, an initiate couldn't get the hang of his right hook. She was bruised and ready for more work. She still has a few hours of reports to fill out.

She notices Tobias snoring on the bed. His delicate figure, so peaceful, his chest slowly rising and falling.

Yn gave him a kiss on the forehead, "love you baby," she whispered.

Walking over to the living room, she sits on the couch facing Tobias. She starts on filing reports, and answering emails from other factions regarding some ridiculous government thing, she was not even qualified for.

At a quarter past three, Y/N is working feverously. She hears Tobias break into a coughing fit in his sleep.

She rushes to his side, "Tobias," she pulls him into a sitting position he continues coughing. She rushes to grab a glass of water. She starts patting his back, handing him the water when he stops coughing, "hey, hey what happened? I'm right her sweetheart," she coos, soothingly rubbing his back.

"I feel like shit," he groans, leaning his head on her shoulder.

She takes the glass and sets it down, "you need meds," she starts, he opens his mouth to protest but she quickly cuts him off, "fucking bullshit, if you don't want me taking you to the infirmary I will be getting you medicine,"

He knows better than to argue with her. After having a shitty and abusive home life. Yn was very protective of her family. If she cared about you, there was nothing she wouldn't do. She backed up Tobias and comforted him after he beat up Marcus, and after yn confronted her own father and sent him to the infirmary, getting them kicked out of amity, he held her while she cried.

Yn quickly returns with various bottles.

"okay, toby what hurts," she asks, sitting at the foot of the bed.

"My throat is sore, my head hurts, I'm sore, and feel ....weird," he rambles. It had taken him getting sick twice for him to let her take control.

"okay take this," she says handing him water and an array of pills.

He does, "I'll sleep on the couch so,-"

"I don't get sick I'm divergent," she smirks.

He groans.

"okay fine, but really I don't get sick from colds and stuff, often at least," she mumbles, spooning him.

"m'sorry I love you," he mumbles into your neck.

"hey, Im here for you, baby," she coos kissing his head as he drifts into a peaceful slumber. She admires how peaceful he looks whilst sleeping.

The way his chest rises and falls. His lips slightly parted, at peace, as he, out of habit, lays on his stomach. He is perfect. He is hers. And she is his. She lays on her stomach to, resting a hand on his shoulder.

"You fucking piece of shit ," Marcus yells, hitting Tobias across the back with the belt screaming insults.

Lore Dump: Current State of Affairs

Note: The following is a discussion on this blog's main verse and what one could expect when doing crossover threads. As the original SR series is effectively dead in the ground, and as someone who wasn't the biggest fan of how it ended, I am basing this entirely off of my own ideas regarding canon, and my revised version of the third game. Please note that at this point in time, I do not have a post that details just what exactly I've done to rework the events of the third game. So until such a post is made, feel free to send me questions regarding just about anything; from plot points, characters, the setting, and so on. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy what's spoken about here.

Something that I've always been fascinated by were the long-lasting consequences of what the Saints had done during the gang war in Steelport. Because let's be real here; the fact that a street gang was able to completely wipe out a large scale criminal organization, whose power and connections were on a global scale, and win against a paramilitary task force that was under the control and supervision of the US government, which was more than likely really fucking embarrassing for them, is monumental.

And when I say monumental, I mean do you know how fucking insane that is? Like, do you know how that's going to affect the world? I would not put it past any kind of governing body to get a wee bit paranoid over this shit. "Well, if the Saints were able to hold their own against the fucking US military, what does that tell every other criminal organization across the globe?". That's horrifying for people in high positions of power! It sets an example. Plants an idea.

So, I can see them trying to deal with this in a number of ways; either they start dumping all their money into law enforcement in order to counteract organized crime, stay vigilant and play by ear, hire outside forces (I like to consider the Masako and STAG as the catalyst for PMC's becoming much more prevalent in this world). Or, special bonus crime answer, you work with OTHER criminal organizations in order to take out what you consider a huge threat. No matter what choice is made, the end result is all of them coming off as if they're panicking like crazy.

Something to consider as well is the public's perception towards what transpired in Steelport, and the way everything was handled. While the Saints' general popularity may have waned somewhat, there's definitely people out there coming to their defense. Or, at the very least, arguing in their favor. They could be seen as arguably better than a lot of the gangs they've gone up against (something that is hinted at in NPC dialogue during the second game), and they did prevent an entire city from being demolished because the US left a dude in charge who would do absolutely anything in his power to get the job done. So, like, hmm, maybe funny purple gang is a necessary evil?

But on the contrary we have the obvious. "How can you defend a bunch of criminals? Maybe things wouldn't have escalated this badly if they weren't around. These people are scumbags! Worst of the worst! And their leader is a godforsaken psychopath (sociopath, maniac, nutcase, whatever you feel like blurting out that day)". None of it is particularly surprising. Most folk don't really like the idea of letting a gang exist, no matter what sort of perceived "good" they might have done for the community. These are also the same kind of people who may even support whatever kind of law or program may be used in order to strike back against organized crime, regardless of how it may impede upon their life or the lives of other people.

"And what about the criminal underworld? Wouldn't this affect them too? Oh, please tell me more, Andre! You're very smart and creative." Ha ha! Why thank you, Hypothetical Person. But, yes, the criminal underworld will absolutely be affected. I mean, put yourself in the position of a gang leader; how would you personally feel seeing the Saints accomplish such an incredible feat? Either you're gonna try gunning for their leader's head, find yourself inspired enough to try and be just a little bit bolder, recognize the potential threat they are to your empire, or be a real stupid motherfucker and continue to underestimate them. It's highly dependent on the gang itself and the kind of person leading them.

The Saints are in a very interesting position currently. They have cemented themselves as a criminal organization to keep an eye on. A gang that has the potential to put themselves in the history books depending on what choices they make. And knowing how ruthlessly ambitious The Boss happens to be, it is almost guaranteed that the Saints will be doing whatever possible in order to expand this empire of theirs, no matter who might stand in their way.

It is the dawn of a new era within this world, and the 3rd Street Saints are carving their path to greatness.

Ame - rains all the time which is a bit annoying but if you've lived in seattle or britain you're already familiar with this. This would be down at the bottom of the list if it was during Hanzo's reign but during Pein's? Kumo - nothing really bad ever happens here, but you DO have to deal with the fact that government officials are apparently all named after the alphabet and also one of the resident jinchuuriki is constantly rapping. Badly.

Taki - nothing bad happens here but also imagine the bug situation. Its essentially a rainforest?? If you dont care about bugs then its really pretty, though.

Kusa - i am pretty sure 90% of their medical program is "take bites out of this small child", and then the child ran away. Um. Don't get sick in Kusa. Also the scenery is just bad. Flat. Lots of grass. Also if you take the movies as canon I'm pretty sure there's low key a civil war happening in the background??

Iwa - this place just sucks in general. No one likes Iwa.

Suna - Sand. It's coarse, it's rough, it gets into everything. Awful. Also it's literally in the middle of nowhere, it's full of economic problems on account of the daimyo being an idiot, and during gaara's childhood there was a few years where you might just get murderized. It's better during Shippuden but it's still honestly not that great.

Konoha - look. Konoha is pretty okay if you're a ninja, and you get the best medical care in the world. THAT SAID: between the kyuubi attack, orochimaru's invasion, and pein fucking turning it into a crater. You just. You don't want to live there. Move to fucking Tanzaku-Gai or something if you arent a shinobi.

Oto - you are better off in the fucking woods if i am being honest

In response to my AoUV poll, here we go! This will be long and I might have more to come later, but thanks so much to everyone who participated, it was great to see your thoughts :D

First of all, I'm so grateful that no one picked the Lowes. That would have been terrifying.

For the others, I'm going to share my thoughts on each of the families because I've thought about this extensively. But obviously it's just my personal opinion, and all of them are at least a little fucked up in their own way. It is Ilvernath, after all.

The Macaslans. Isobel has my whole heart, I swear she does, but the Macaslans as a rule are atrocious. Showing up to every funeral in the city and stealing magick from dead bodies as they're put in the ground is beyond tacky and disrespectful, and Cormac is beyond slappable. His "how many ways can we commodify Isobel to make money, 15% goes to the champions" bullshit gets me so upset. We haven't met many Macaslans but if he's the representative, hard pass.

The Grieves. I disagree with the people who picked them, but I do understand. I've talked about the Grieves a lot lately, so I'll just summarize and say that they're in a truly awful situation where they have few options other than to give up. None of that excuses what they did to Gavin and, tbh, their other kids too. This family is a hot mess.

The Thorburns. They're serial killers. They lie and cheat and cut deals with the government to control high magick, and murder people in Ilvernath and drain them of their life magick and frame someone else for it. Then they call themselves the heroes, enforcing this idea so strongly that their champion causes an insane amount of damage trying to live up to it. I really struggle to get past this.

The Blairs. They won the poll, and I absolutely get it. They're straitlaced and dependable, and they keep to an honor code. My issue comes with the severity of this honor code, and the collateral damage that comes with it. Blairs keep the code and their word, but all that honor and protection is for the cause of...the exact same cause that everyone else has. They do better things than the others do, but only to pat themselves on the back over it and claim their prize. Their honor code blinds them to everything that isn't black-and-white—see how Finley's moms respond to him suggesting there's a way to break the tournament. Don't get me wrong, they're way better than Elder Malvina, but the Blairs are not saints, and I think part of what makes them so insidious is that they make it look like they are.

I'm briefly grouping the last two together, because they're the families we know least about and that (in my opinion) seem like the most reasonable. I'm going to preface this by saying that yes, the Paynes and Darrows trick Briony and the others by swapping their stories in All of Our Demise. Yes, this causes problems for them in the tournament.

But honestly, can you fucking blame them? Their kids were just murdered, and these people who are trying to stop people from being murdered do not seem to care. From the Paynes' perspective, their champion died brutally and Briony and the others mentioned her literally zero times in their appeals for help. From the Darrows' perspective, it's even more justified. Briony killed their champion and then she and Isobel publicly lied about it, responding with little more than an "oh oops" when they're called out on it. I don't blame the Darrows and Paynes for not wanting to help them.

Taking a closer look, these two families want high magick for very different reasons from the others. The Lowes and Grieves want it for power, the Macaslans want it for money, and the Thorburns and Blairs want it for glory. Granted, we don’t get to see too much of the other two, but by all appearances they’re more interested in how high magick works.

The Darrows are all about studying, keeping records, and learning. It seems like they’re interested in figuring out the what and why of high magick for the sake of knowledge, not necessarily using it. As for the Paynes, All of Our Demise reveals that they’re inventors, which explains so much. They make things. And sure, there’s no guarantee that they would use high magick for good, but the general vibe we get from them is that they want to make things and be left the fuck alone. So even if the Paynes and Darrows originally agreed to join the curse with the other families, the current situation heavily implies that they’re doing it for far less selfish and destructive reasons.

All of this is to say that, in my opinion, it would be between these two. And I’d give the edge to the Paynes for two reasons, one being that, I’m sorry, any family that picks Carbry as a champion for a death tournament needs a reality check. If it turns out that there were literally no other siblings or cousins, I will apologize. Don’t get me wrong, I like Carbry, but he is not death tournament material. Also, firsthand knowledge is admirable, but it’s kind of a flimsy reason to send your kids to be killed every twenty years. None of the families are really morally defensible here, but at least you could make the argument that one of them has the means of and interest in using the high magick for something practical. So ultimately, that one family is the one that gets my vote.

Long story short, I wish we got more information about these last two families. But considering the information we do have, and the dots that are left to connect, I would have to pick the Paynes.

Honestly I think it depends on which side of the fandom your in because what you're talking Abt reminds me of the MCU Stony fandom.

Most of the people who like MCU Stony are people who mostly try cope with the fact that there wasn't really much relationship build off from Steve In that universe, because he was bland, similar to how I feel about emh Steve and EMH Stony in general despite me shipping it myself.

I think that most Stony fans don't hate Steve they just wish that the writers would like.. write him, like , good. An example of a Steve I think everyone can agree on is AA Steve, which is known for being some the best Steve characterizations we've gotten in a while, because of the way Roger Craig Smith does his softer voice and normal Steve voice that displays both a captain and a caring person that would try and help out with your problems.

And as much as I don't agree with the "Captain Colonizer" Statement, mostly because Steve is a representation of the people of America not the government, as much as marvel tries to make it seem that way cap is someone that helps the little guys and unless there's a habit avengers level threat or just something happening down town, he doesn't go side with the government, evident by the fact that in AA (S2/3ish) neither Steve and tony were working with the government, it was obviously on already uneasy terms, but after they showed lack of remorse for human lives, it ended up leading the team to split up publicly and work to help everyone underground away from ultrons weird government bullshit that entire season.

And afiak, They stopped "uneasily" working with the government after this, it was really only with big events like thanos and ultron anyway, and the avengers work alone, and they don't like being controlled by government pencil necks who don't care.

Although it should be noted that, most other Steve vary on this position, Im not gonna use civil war as a talking point here cuz both the comic and the movies adaptations are shit and Steves feelings towards the government are a lot more wishy washy in 616, and the MCU is a huge example of going in the wrong direction with how to do that. And the fact that if we're being honest Steve would go down to wherever shits going down and help him fucking self. he don't take that shit, he will defend the side of the right. Hes not about that wishy washy government bullshit as much as marvel's military funded ass shitty movie cinematic universe will try to make you believe and just and fyi: all the mcus shit is from ults.. And for your final question, no, most Stony fans don't think avac Steve is the best character version, idk where you got that from, but it wasn't the fandom no siree, that seems a bit biased. And as I've said earlier, the consensus on "best Steve" usually seems to be either 616 Steve or Aa Steve, me personally I like aa steve more but my other friend likes 616 Steve, and I think it really comes down to these two because one is really solid adaptable and the other is the original character finally becoming good again with writers who care about him, (tony too, hes the main reason I got back into cap comics!)

I'm gonna rant about the American health system, politics, and mental health so if you don't want to be angry with me please keep scrolling.

I was diagnosed with PTSD, major depressive disorder, and generalized anxiety. I was prescribed medication to cope with these mental illnesses and I see a therapist.

I recently had to leave a job due to a VERY toxic work environment. The only thing that was keeping me there was the money and benefits (for example, health insurance). A good friend of mine that still works at that shithole convinced me to leave. She told me that she could see that the place was burning me out and I needed to get out before it got so bad that I couldn't function. I agreed and started looking for a new job.

This weekend will be the one month mark at my new job. They're a small business with less than 50 employees. Because they have less than 50 employees they aren't required by the state to have health insurance. So, what does that mean for me? Well, I'm glad you asked.

I now have to pay out of pocket for everything, or I could completely give up on my mental health. I'm going to have to pay for all of my medications OUT OF POCKET because I don't have insurance. How much are they? Well my birth control isn't too bad; it's $20. But I take two different antidepressants. A 30 day supply for one of them is $50 which I guess is manageable. But the other one? Almost fucking $500. Five hundred fucking American dollars.

Now hear me out, I've been searching high and low for a way to take care of this. But here's the issue: I make too much money to qualify for state benefits and I don't make enough to afford a $421 insurance payment every month. I found a loophole where I qualify for a specific type of coverage but I still have to pay $73 a month for it. That'll cover my psych appointments, therapy, and meds.

So I got the paperwork in the mail for this medical coverage. They want a transcript for every single bill I pay. Like???? Isn't there a way you can look me up somehow and find all of that yourself? Literally every bill I pay for is connected to my SSN. But okay whatever.

I'm just frustrated, guys. I live alone and work a full time job. I feed myself and keep my water running and keep the lights on. I pay for shit for my car, I pay for so fucking much it's like none of it matters.

I'm tired. I'm worn out. I'm fucking pissed at the United States of Fucking America, the "land of the free", for not giving us free healthcare. I don't give a shit if I have to pay more in taxes, at least I wouldn't be suffering from my own mind and I could get the help I desperately need. The government has money to give to other countries but enough to put towards our healthcare? Now I get it, those people need the money and supplies because they're fighting wars and people are dying. If I could physically or financially go help them myself i would. But we have so many problems with our own country here in the good ol' US of A. I'm not trying to start an argument so don't even jump into my inbox. I'm just tired, guys. I'm tired of fighting and trying to keep myself going. We shouldn't have to worry about what happens if we get sick or what bills we'll be able to pay. For one of the most powerful and "richest" countries in the world the citizens are pretty fucked when it comes to living here.
