#13DaysofGA2021 -- #1: First Snow (with Zakota)

SUMMARY: Zak goes to Minnesota to visit Dakota (young!Zak x Dakota -- no age gap) RATING: Mature for mature themes

It was fucking cold and Zak shoved his hands deeper into his pockets in an attempt to warm himself up. He just kept reminding himself that he was almost up the long driveway to Dakota’s house. Around him, snow was falling, starting to cover the ground and the cars in a sparkly overlay. He would have thought it was gorgeous except HE WAS FUCKING COLD!

Finally, Zak came up along Dakota’s car, memories flashing in his mind of how the other boy’s flesh tasted in his mouth in the back of that car. He reached forward, placing his finger against the glass and made a quick heart shape in it. A soft smile was on his face. Zak was always a hopeless romantic.

“Well are you just gonna stand there and fondle my car or you gonna come up here and kiss me, you idiot?”

Zak snapped his head up to the doorway. Dakota stood in the frame, arms wrapped around his bare chest and bouncing up and down on his bare feet. Mist came from Dakota’s mouth as a he huffed. Zak rolled his eyes, “Aren’t you a little cold?”

“Shut up,” Dakota laughed, “Come on!”

“So impatient,” Zak mused as he walked up the short distance to the door.

An evil look appeared in Dakota’s eyes, “I could just leave you out here. I know how much you hate the cold.”

“You wouldn’t…,” Zak’s voice was dangerously low.

And the inner brat in Dakota smirked, “What would my punishment be, sir?”

Zak raised his hands up to the scarf around his neck. A growl tickling his throat, “Get on the bed in five seconds and I’ll make sure it’s not too heavy for your delicate ass.”

Dakota didn’t hear the rest of Zak’s statement as he sprinted back into the house.

Zak chuckled, pulling the scar from his neck, and stepping through the doorway. He shut the door behind him, closing the door off to him and Dakota’s dynamics in the bedroom. The world was left in the deadly silence of a first snow.

DAY 26 - Z

1) Zak Bagans

Of course I cant miss this wonderful man <3 Zak is one of my biggest loves! My boo, my baby boy (who is older than me, but who cares, he still is my baby boy :D ) Many people think that he is a macho, but I dont. I actually think that he isnt confident at all, he just wears a mask for people, because he has trust issues and he is afraid to show his true self - which is a thing that I know very good in fact, people diagnosed with anxiety or depression do that often. I also dont believe when people say that he isnt behaving good - well, sometimes he can, but arent we all just humans? Dont we all have our own flaws? I see Zak as an extremely beautiful person with soooo pretty eyes and a wonderful smile and I would soooo love to talk to him in person. And, like Im always saying, the way he loves his dog... and the way he behaves to every animal the crew meets on investigations... you cant be a bad person if you love animals. And I dont think its a crime to love animals more than people, I do love animals more then humans too :D I also think that he is very good at what he is doing, I mean - the spiritual stuff and he tries to help people who are in problems and are dealing with dangerous and dark stuff. Anyway... Zak Bagans is one of my biggest crushes <3 When he smiles, I smile, when he is sad, I am sad. And Im soooo, soooooo happy that he got better in these day, it seems that he is slowly getting over what happened with Nick and he laughs more often, makes jokes and he is getting back to his old self, which I am very happy about <3 I think he is a good man, that is just trying to hide his insecurities, if he would be so bad as people claim him to be, everyone would leave the crew, not just Nick. And, btw, I would sooo love to watch a documentary narrated by Zak about something... common, like... I dont know, horses or bears or flowers in the wild or something :D that would be totally awesome! I love his voice soooo much <3 And Im proud to say that my baby daughter obviously likes it too, because she was "watching" a few eps with us and whenever Zak started to talk, she calmed down, so... yep, definitely a charming voice :D

2) Zaaron

OOOOH YEEEEEAAAAAH!!!! Im more and more into Zaaron since Nick left. I feel that Aaron is the right one for Zak, which could be seen in my What Lies In The Dark fic, especially in the way I ended it. I wanted the fic to end in a different way, but I changed my mind. NAK is my OTP forever, but... Aaron is able to make Zak laugh, to comfort him and it actually can be seen during the episodes, its pretty clear that Aaron is the one that made Zak feel better. Aaron, who was a scaredy cat, never left, he never left Zak alone (and I hope he wont do that now as he has a GF). I was in shock when I found out that Aaron has a GF which he is going to marry, but, you know... I dont care, I still ship it :D

3) Zilly

Oh my, this is one of the cutest ships ever! Billy and Zak are always teasing each other and making jokes and I feel like Billy is the only one who is allowed to make fun of Zak :D

4) Zay

Oooh, my newest religion! Such an underrated ship!! Jay and Zak are now closer and closer and you can see it clearly while watching the screaming room episodes! Zak caressing Jays hair, Jay being the only one who doesnt make fun of Zak... yep! Thats why Im writing a Zay fanfic right now :)

5) Zakota

6) Zombies

I like zombies, though I am afraid that something like a zombie apocalypse will happen one day. I sometimes have really scary dreams, in which Zombies are chasing me and they want to bite me, Im always like "ok, bastard, bite me finally, I want to end this all", but then, when the zombie gets to close, I always start running again, so... I think it means that even when Im tired and hopeless the most, I never give up :) I like Zombie comedies more than horror movies. My fav Zombie movie is "Shaun of the dead" :)

7) Zucchini

My fav vegetable! Im happy that my daughter likes it too, she tried zucchini as the second vegetable after pumpkin and she fell in love with it right away :)

Uniquely Ukraine

Ukraine is fairly new to the tourism scene, and is less-traveled by western tourists. Too Close for Comfort| Zakota

Dakota hummed as he walked back from his morning jog. Despite the chill, he still had a sweat going from his exercise. It was still early in the morning, at 5 in the morning, the sky was still dark, just beginning to lighten up. He was always an early riser- of course Zac and Elliot has made him get used to sleeping in more but he had to get back on schedule for the winter showcase. It was his debut performance with the New York City Ballet so he was pretty excited for it. 

He sang under his breath t the song playing through his headphones, eyes raising to the street ahead of him. It was empty save for the occasional bird. He liked to jog in places that didn’t have many people to avoid tripping and falling and embarrassing himself- well that and he didn’t want to literally run into anyone. 

It had been a good morning so far- that is until his arm was yanked from behind. Dakota yelped, ripping his headphones from his own ears and wrenching his arm out of the others grip. He quickly turned around to face the other. “The fuck is your--” He started, the mannerisms he’s adopted from Zac showing. He stopped short, his stomach dropping to his feet and his heart leaping into his throat. “Jasper..” He croaked, taking a hesitant step back. He’s been getting a mix of love and hate letters from this man as well the consistent voicemails. He’s ignored them all but he couldn’t very well ignore the man in front of him. He patted his pocket for his phone with a trembling hand, ready to call Zac.

“DA-Da-DAA-DAh-Dah!” Elliot screamed as he awkwardly ran through the half empty apartment. His feet were still not used to holding his body up, his form of running was more of a waddle. It was true what they said though - once a kid was on their feet you couldn’t keep them still. The space was a luxury though, furniture usually got in his way at the old apartment. Beast and Rajah, Zac’s french bulldog and Dakota’s husky-retriever cross, followed after the child in some form of game. Zac stood with a mug of coffee in his hands watching the mayhem unfold. “Be careful! I haven’t child proofed anything yet,” he told his son, even though the child wouldn’t reply now that the dogs had tackled him, covering his bare chest in licks. The screaming was replaced with laughter, drawing a smile out of the tired man. “Gross, but that is kind of cute,” he admitted out loud.
