"you can't address me like that." arthur replied, calling back to when they first met.

Michael Aaron Afton is the eldest of his siblings, and very possibly the most exhausted.

He's always been a hard worker. He's very strong, both physically and mentally. When he'd end up in the hospital cause his mother would forget about his allergies, when he was forced to take care of a newborn with Elizabeth when they were only 12, and when Elizabeth would have violent outbursts and attack someone. He'd always be the mediator, he'd always be the one to keep it together.

And his hard working followed him to his career.

Robotics has been his special interest ever since he was introduced to Foxy the Pirate when he was little. So he started small, taking apart and putting clocks back together, and putting stuffed animal skins over his old robotic toys. Then his father noticed, it's probably the one thing he noticed about Mike. So William introduced him to Henry, and started training him to take up the company.

Elizabeth was also involved, but in a different way. Elizabeth was very business aware, an extrovert, and she specialized in understanding people and socialization. Just like their father. While Mike was the opposite, he took up more heavy-lifting and material knowledge, and he was very introverted. Just like Henry.

So Mike would take up robotics and learn all other helpful skills to keep himself going as long as possible (lock picking to get quicker access to materials, wound stitching in case of a workplace accident, sewing & painting for designing, etc) and would teach his siblings if they ever asked. Of course he would, he'd always help out his siblings.

Even if the late-night designing and building would shift to going days without sleep, this skill of his would keep them alive! He can make money and support them all when he's an adult. They won't have to rely on their father and they could get out of this shithole as fast as possible with this!

Elizabeth is getting tired of carrying his unconscious body to his bed repeatedly.

Last night I had a dream that Etho was somehow turned into a camel and was only mildly upset about it, meanwhile I (yeah I was in the dream too, dream Etho went to my college) tried to investigate who turned him into a camel a/o what went wrong enough to cause this transformation. Also my advisor was there for thirty seconds.

Does anyone know any vitamins or foods or drugs that improve your QUALITY of sleep? I don't mean stuff that makes you fall asleep or helps you sleep longer, I mean stuff that makes 5 hours of sleep feel like 8 or some shit like that. Obviously I don't mean benzos/alcohol/weed/hypnotics/antipsychotics/melatonin/allery meds etc... For context I think like 90% of mental health issues are caused by chronic sleep deprivation 😂😂😂

I know Ive posted about this before but it drives me crazy thinking about Billy growing older like. Oh my GOD one day (assuming he does not die) hes going to be an adult!! Will his human form match his Shazam form? Will he look only vaguely similar? Is Shazam built off of what Billy will actually look like at age ~20, or is it a child’s idealized version of himself? Or his dad? When Billy gets even older, what will Shazam mean to him then? An escape from the pains of old age, instead of the traumas of childhood? Shazam is immortal, is Billy Batson? Will he pass on Shazam and die peacefully, within a human lifetime? Will he take the Black Adam route and one day transform into Shazam and never change back, to stay as a hero for eternity? Will he succeed the Wizard Shazam? What will the world even look like in 100 years for Billy? Certainly nothing like the one he grew up in. God im rattling so hard about this

Melatonin is a delicate balancing act, it took some time to find a dose that helped me fall and stay asleep without leaving me groggy after 8/10 hours. For me, that has been 10 mg gradually increased to such over a few weeks then steady since.

I also take roughly a week without it every month or two, as the bottle recommends. Listen to your body and do what you can. Good luck, and thank you for the sweet gay were/pire comic<3

Yeah, I can tell my sweet zone is somewhere between 3 and 6 mg, at least right now. Or at least I think it is. Admittedly my sleep has been absolutely horrible since I was a kid so my standards on "not tired" are pretty low, so I'm not actually sure if they're any good right now. All I know is I'm getting more than 2 hours of sleep at a time, and I'm not spending every waking moment fighting off a nap!

Thanks for the confirmation I've gotta test with it and go off and on and such, my doc didn't give me a straight answer on that (he just kept saying take it as needed... I need it every night!!!). 75% of the time being good is way better than 0% so I'll take what I can get!
