I have doodled Wally evil many times! I think Home and Wally could be "evil" , but I wouldn't bet my money on it. He could very well be possessed by something or someone. He is a puppet afterall. Gotta have a puppet master! Right now I am going to say Wally and, possibly Home, are possessed by something greater.

Will you believe me if i say. this was actually one of the first if not THE first hc pair that i shipped. Aside from ethubs ofc but that was mostly from Last Life. But then a twitter bug bit me and i went OH NO but The Boundaries! and stopped. I'm still recovering btw.

there are a lot homestly just scroll thru my ethubs tag but i'll say my fav thing that first comes to mind. it's that they seem in a lot of ways like opposites but the closer you inspect them the more you see that.. they actually have way more similarities between eahc toher than differences??? they just work so well together. it's like two pieces of a puzzle met and fit together perfectly

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm idk i'll have to think abt it. im sure there;s smth but i tend to follow ppl i agree with and homestly compared to my other ships. i think the ethubs fandom understands those guys very well

ok im back i thought abt it and i think most of my gripes with any iteration of ethubs come down to mischaracterizing them individually. so like showing bdubs as this loud and boastful guy and completely missing that his self-esteem was nonexistent and is still kinda low, or commiting too much to one facet of etho (be it his trickery or his shyness) while disregarding his other traits. im guilty of this too cuz THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT CHARACTERS TO WRITE and the fact that they have years of history to reference means everybody's ethubs is going to be a little different based on how much of that they've seen and what they remembered the most or chose to focus on. so even if i don't agree with a take on them (which has happened before) it's completely fine cuz like. there's A LOOOT of space to have differing opinions about them.

That exact fic you're talking about spawned a huge harassment campaign which boiled down to "hey hasn't anyone noticed this dark-fic tagged as dark-fic is dark? that's so fucked up the author should probably die." When it comes to engaging with fic comments, I've found it's vastly better to do it with discretion and in places where I have control of the conversation

That exact fic has a discord I am VERY active in, for engaging with commentary about the fic.

I'm a very tumblr-first fic-poster. I engage a ton with comments on tumblr. Most of my fics on Ao3 are the result of someone on tumblr asking if I could reupload the fic to Ao3 for ease of bookmarking. Which is fair! So I usually do it. But it DOES mean I don't "use" Ao3 much.

This one is maybe silly and stems from my "don't use Ao3"-ness, but I've worried in the back of my mind that engaging in the comments looks like an excuse to boost my own fic metrics. That's probably not worth being worried about, but this is off the heels of getting dartboarded to the wall in 2017. I do love getting ao3 comments!! Love them!! For every ABoT chapter update I make a follow-up post on Tumblr with an out-of-context compilation of reactions from ao3 comments/tumblr tags/discord messages. I just don't really use ao3 for the engagement part.

Also, I'm just. flabbergasted by that little DLC trivia about Phantom. Like. I headcanoned this MF to be an absolute heartthrob. A real Don Juan, like you mentioned.

The fact that my FAN-MADE depiction of him is now considered CANON. Albeit, canon Phantom is a lot more of an ass than my Phantom, but the idea that he is incredibly attractive amongst the Rabbids is still there (and maybe even other species *cough*Peach*cough)!

The scandal AU, that's what that line of dialogue reminded me of!!

Well, seems like Phantom only keeps his composure "under the spotligh", while off stage his self-control just goes flying out the window, lmao.

After Kingdom Battle I've never even considered Phantom being such a Casanova, in my mind he was still in love with Peach, but then came Sparks of Hope where not only he got over Peach's crush and dated Bea, but he broke off with her for a dancer. As I said before somebody stop him! He's a menace! LMAO. Who knows who he might be fancying next time we hear about him. The man is gonna get in trouble, I can feel it.

The thing that I love about all this madness is that we are being fed lil' breadcrumbs of trivia abot the Phantom and the fandom goes crazy like we recieved a treasure. I hope they'll keep getting us updated about his shenanigans, after all the devs love this character too (he's Soliani's favourite boss... :D) and who knows maybe we'll meet the bastard man in person in the future (third DLC? Maybe? Plz?).

Life/Doggo update:

I got a summer job at a local org that arranges events and summer camps for kids and families, I'm designing and painting those party prop things with holes cut on them that you can stick your face through to take a photo of you as a character

Junior still hasn't learned to pee outside properly, he keeps leaving traps for us to step on all over the house. He also slept next to me throughout the night the other day for the first time!

I'm currently working on a beefy wyvern lesbian aunt and IDK what her job should be outside her "secret" job OTL

Working at a summer camp sounds like so much fun, designing stuff for kids is absolutely one of my favourite things to do (I take my role as a cool uncle very seriously) And you're so great at using bold and fun colours that I bet you'll do amazing!!

I really hope you won't have to deal with Junior and Sock thief trying to mark over each other when it comes to peeing inside, when we had two male dogs that became a real isse for a looooong time😅 And oooh please talk more abot your OCs to me, I love her already!!!

Life update | 8.24.2023

Sahod na ulit bukas. Hindi ko ulit nameet yung targets ko this month kasi ang daming nangyari. Hay. Sobrang nakakalungkot pero kailangan kong tanggapin na ginagawa ko naman talaga yung best ko. May 2 days na sumakit yung tiyan ko this month, 2 days na tinrangkaso ako, nag-asikaso ako ng TV tsaka nung mga gamit na kailangan para sa materyales ng cabinet. Bukas onti na naman work ko kasi magpapacheck up naman ako. Half pa lang sa target ko ang naitatrabaho ko, at 24th na. Clearly hindi na aabot pero susubukan ko pa rin sa abot ng makakaya ko. Target ko sanang sahod bukas 10k pero naging 7k na lang. Kulang na kulang pa para sa pambayad sa 2 months na overdue nung motor. Sasahod pa naman ulit ako sa katapusan. Hay. Sobrang bagal pero at least my usad.

Next sahod naman icclose ko na yung BillEase tsaka yung Lazpay. Hindi ko alam kung ano na mangyayari dun sa iba kong overdue loan, pero working on it. :( :)

So I know this isn't anything that like actually needs an apology but it'll make me feel a bit better to say it. Oof whoops this ABoT chapter is super late. Timing kinda sucks since I wanted to have some updates out while s3 was airing but

Been kinda mega busy and stressed since October with the whole condo buying thing which rolled right into immediate day 0 plumbing and boiler issues I had to get fixed and general moving hassle and financial commitment stress and I kinda just fried myself hard. Plus then acclimating to a new place without my familiar street or familiar grocery store or familiar room or any of that. Like there's no "just go home and take your mind off it" to this cuz home is the "it". So I'm just kinda enduring until I can calm the hell down.

And anyway I definitely have progress on ch47, like 7000-ish words of it, but it's the kind of like "there is writing there" and hasn't exactly hit the "there is substance there" that I want ABoT chapters to be. Like this in particular is a chapter I want to be good, not just be done. So it's taking time to get my brain somewhere that can do that.

the only works that I've read that have had the fraction of impact as that fic sounds like it did is fucking....like a drum. the jean//marco one? anyone remember?? it wasn't that good but people went fucking insane about it and would reference it all the time and the author locked it iirc so you needed an account to view it. uhhhh I've spoken about the george de/valier fics and gutters but they weren't like...divisive or anything they were just really popular. gomens had that super popular one that I forget than name of but it was boring as hell and I don't understand why ppl kept harassing the author to update. there was also slow show which I think was widely influential but I didn't read it and in all honestly I don't think I interact with the popular members of fan communities enough bc they're usually creeps

ofc mdzs has sexytimes with wangxian which everyone hates and some other infamous fics that have quite terrible real-world impact, but nothing that's like, universally cited or considered the gold standard for characterizations or anything. multiple canons = a more sprawling fan experience. like gomens really took off after the show was created, so it was mostly off show canon, tho the books had a dedicated fanbase as well (just pretty small). all the controversies surrounding these works have way more to do with the canon itself rather than the ff

unlike cql/mdzs I never saw a lot of blending the gomens canons. book and show were just too different in character design, themes, personality...I'm honestly tempted to say that cql was more faithful to mdzs than gomens show was to the book, but it's hard to compare them. if anyone has input I'd love to hear it

OH ALSO A BREACH OF TRUST. real ones remember abot and all the creepy adults who milked child abuse for all it's worth and positioned reigen as this heroic savoir for a series that explicitly positioned mob as the protag of because it's his LIFE like way to erase that agency of a character who's practically canonically autistic for your savior fantasy. HOW KURAI FEELS ABOT THE HASHIRA

Rengoku: Loves him, adores him, is infatuated with him. Barely shows it out of respect but will become flustered and stare a lot. She adores and respects her master and regards him as the greatest man in the world. She loves to be by his side and shows her more goofy and clumsy side to him. So she’s constantly embarrassed but when they are sparing is her favorite moments. She loves her master and always wishes to make him proud but if her master is shirtless on a hot training day let’s say Kurai really has to train through the heat.

Mitsuri: Irritated by her presence and can’t stand her for to long. Doesn’t like how bubbly she is but still respects her and acknowledge her as a good person she can rely on. She’s actually a good friend who she has a good time with but still gets on Kurai’s nerves easily.

Giyu: Second favorite Hashira after Rengoku she actully like Giyu and hates when others are mean to him. She can relate to him in some ways and most people think Kurai is just the angry version of Giyu. But when shes with Giyu she acts like a 180. It’s because she just wants Giyu to get some kindness and affection that he deserves. Tho she does like to tease him too with Shinobu. But this has led to the misconception that Giyu is the one she has a crush on. Only Shinobu knows the truth. Still highly respect and regards Giyu a excellent Hashia and friend. A kind guy who is funny but doesn’t realize hes not being funny on purpose. They tend to go out to eat with Rengoku and Kurai being the mediator for Giyu.

Shinobu: Loves her with all her heart and regards her as her best friend. She loves training with Shinobu and gets along with her well. Kurai can be a bit push always wanting to help Shinobu. Kurai means well its just she doesn’t have many friends and Shinobu is one of her only few female friends. She highly values Shinobu and respects her dearly. Thinks Shinobu is the impediment of class and beauty. but doesn’t like when she teases Giyu too much or teases him without her.

Obanai: She thinks he’s full of himself and loves to prank him. but she tries to hold back or bring along Mitsuri every time she has to interact with him so she can be with Kaburamaru. Tho she does try to be nice to him because she knows he’s not that bad of a guy and actively helps him with Mitsuri. in exchange for lunch with Kaburaru while the two are on their lunch date.

Muichiro: Doesn’t know how to feel, they talked to each other twice and both times they said less than four words. She would like to see him fight one day

Sanemi: She likes his temper, sometimes he’s a great challenge for her. She always down to train with him but when he goes too Far she steals his sword and hides it.  there mutuals and she really prefers Genya over Sanemi. She can manage five minutes of conversation before they naturally part ways. she likes Sanami but there isn’t much interaction between the two.

Gyomei: Thinks he is a kind man and loves to talk to him when she can. She believes he holds so much wisdom and kindness she usually talks to him when she to afraid to talk to her master. She thinks she’s lucky to know him and she gets to hang out with Genya too so it’s always a treat to visit and see him.

Tengen: Absolutely hates him she cannot stand sitting or even being near him. If it wasn’t for Rengoku she would of stabbed Tengen, again. She just hates his ”flamboyant“attitude and how he gets away with almost anything. She respects him as a Hashira and thinks his breathing style is interesting. but that makes her hate him  more. Even when he manages to show he’s not that bad of a guy he manages to still piss her off.

I said I update a oc master list but it’s kinda hard when one of your oc has like eight years of progress you have to condense and instead of refining it all you make more ocs. I have three major oc I’m always working on and decided to start with this to get my feet in the door. I’d be happy if anyone asked question on my oc and I’m almost done with her official art.
