abortion bans in any way - whether they make exceptions or none at all - is the state getting away with raping you. forced birth is quite literally torture. abortion is healthcare & communities with access to safe abortions are healthier for it.

Remember when most people were in agreement that the world was becoming overpopulated and humanity’s impact on the planet was catastrophic and that maybe the simplest solution was if we just didn’t reproduce quite as much (because the powerful will never give up fossil fuel profits)
Then remember the huge uproar that actually overpopulation is suddenly a myth and this was somehow “eugenics” against poor people? And then remember how soon after we had article after article being released about the dangers of declining birth rates trying to cause a public panic? And then remember how they revoked roe v wade? And then remember them creating project 2025? And now they’re fighting to make voting less accessible to women. And the GOP has openly stated that they want to make it so contraceptives are not a federal right. And they are bribing the poorest demographic to give birth with a pathetic $5,000 because they know that there really are some people that desperate- forget the fact that if youre that desperate for $5,000, you definitely cannot afford to raise a child.
yeah. turns out “overpopulation is a myth and not dangerous at all” and “they just want to eradicate poor people.” Was billionaire propaganda. And we fell for it. Of course they want poors to procreate. we’re their feeding stock.
Women have always controlled the population. They know it, and they can’t stand that women hold something that powerful, and they’re going to do everything they can to try and steal that power for themselves.

Birth control also helps people regulate extremely painful, irregular, and/or long periods. Birth control isn't just about pregnancy.
Birth control is healthcare. Abortion is healthcare.
Republicans want women to have no way of preventing pregnancy or anyway of ending the pregnancy. According to the UN this is a violation of our human rights.
Please vote for Joe Biden, women are not livestock.

1. Climate Initiatives Fare Well Across the Country Despite National Political Climate
“[California voters approved] a $10 billion bond measure to boost climate resilience across [the] state[…. Hawai’i] voters cast their ballots in favor of establishing the [climate] resiliency fund, with money for the project coming from existing property tax revenue.“
2. ‘You have to disguise your human form’: how sea eagles are being returned to Severn estuary after 150 years
“[… To avoid imprinting,] the handlers will wear long robes and feed the young eagles chopped rabbit and other meat with bird hand-puppets. […] Williams hopes that restoring eagles to the top of the food chain in the estuary will create a more balanced, thriving ecosystem.”
3. 10 states voted on pro-abortion referendums. 7 of them passed
“New York voters overwhelmingly approved the Equal Rights Amendment, adding [… among other characteristics] gender expression, pregnancy, and pregnancy outcomes to anti-discrimination laws. […] In deep-red Missouri and Montana, voters also enshrined abortions protections in their state constitutions.”
4. Giant rats could soon fight illegal wildlife trade by sniffing out elephant tusk and rhino horn
“”Our study shows that we can train African giant pouched rats to detect illegally trafficked wildlife, even when it has been concealed among other substances[.…] They can easily access tight spaces like cargo in packed shipping containers or be lifted up high to screen the ventilation systems of sealed containers,” Szott explained.”
5. Sarah McBride wins Delaware U.S. House seat, becoming the first out trans member of Congress
“McBride spearheaded Delaware’s legislation to ban the “gay and trans panic” defense as a state senator [… and] helped to pass paid family and medical leave, gun safety measures, and protections for reproductive rights.”
6. Critically endangered Sumatran elephant calf born in Indonesia

“Indonesian officials hailed the births and said they showed conservation efforts were essential to prevent the protected species from extinction. […] Sumatran elephants are on the brink of extinction with only about 2,400-2,800 left in the world, according to the World Wide Fund for Nature.”
7. Sin City is Going Green
“[Hotels there] have conserved 16 billion gallons of water since 2007, thanks to […] replacing grass with desert-friendly landscaping, installing water-efficient taps across all properties, and reusing water at aquariums and in the Bellagio Fountain.”
8. Gray squirrel control: Study shows promise for effective contraceptive delivery system
“[… T]he feeders have a very high level of species-specificity. […] The bait and monitoring system developed and tested in the study demonstrated that […] “spring was the only season tested where female squirrels were more likely to visit bait feeders than males. Spring coincides with a peak in squirrel breeding and is therefore a good time to deliver a contraceptive."”
9. Returning Grazing Land to Native Forests Would Yield Big Climate Benefits
“[… S]trategically regrowing forests on land where cattle currently graze […] while intensifying production elsewhere could drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions, with little hit to global protein production, a new study shows.”
10. Interior Department Strengthens Conservation of American Bison Through New Agreement with Canada and Mexico
“Approximately 31,000 bison are currently being stewarded by the United States, Canada and Mexico with the goal of conserving the species and their role in the function of native grassland systems, as well as their place in Indigenous culture.”

ReproductiveRights.Gov Information
Copied all of the information off of ReproductiveRights.Gov using the WayBackMachine (<3) seeing as it's gone now. I don't know how much of it will hold in the coming days but it's still important now. If you want to see the website here's a link that works (as of 21/1/25), and if it stops I copied all the info below the cut.
YOUR RIGHTS
Update on Medication Abortion
On June 13, the Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision holding that the plaintiffs in FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine lacked standing to challenge FDA’s actions. Mifepristone—which FDA approved as safe and effective more than 20 years ago—remains available under the conditions of use approved by FDA.
The Biden-Harris Administration remains committed to protecting reproductive rights, ensuring women can make their own decisions about their own bodies, and preserving the FDA’s authority to make science-based determinations about what medications are safe and effective. Read statements from President Joe Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra.
Know Your Rights: Reproductive Health Care
Reproductive health care, including access to birth control and safe and legal abortion care, is an essential part of your health and well-being. While Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion remains legal in many states, and other reproductive health care services remain protected by law. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is committed to providing you with accurate and up-to-date information about access to and coverage of reproductive health care and resources. Our goal is to make sure you have appropriate information and support.
Your Reproductive Rights
Below you will find information on your right to access reproductive health care, what your health insurance is required to cover, and where to go if you need health insurance.
Whether you get coverage through your employer, Medicaid, HealthCare.gov, or elsewhere in the private insurance market, most plans cover family planning counseling, birth control, and other preventive services at no additional cost to you. Federal law allows federally-funded health coverage (like Medicaid) to cover abortion in some situations, and some private health insurance plans also cover abortion care.
Your Right to Emergency Care
In light of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, it's more important than ever that you know your rights on receiving emergency medical care.
The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) requires Medicare-participating hospital emergency departments to offer any person who requests it an appropriate medical screening examination within the capability of the hospital’s emergency department.
If the hospital determines that you have an emergency medical condition, federal law requires the hospital to offer you treatment until your emergency medical condition is stabilized, or an appropriate transfer to another hospital if you need it.
An emergency medical condition includes any medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms and that, in the absence of immediate medical attention, could reasonably be expected to place the person’s health in serious jeopardy. Emergency medical conditions involving pregnant patients may include, but are not limited to, ectopic pregnancy, complications of a pregnancy loss, or emergent hypertensive disorders, such as preeclampsia with severe features. In some instances, the treatment reasonably necessary to stabilize a pregnant woman’s emergency medical condition may be an abortion.
These federal rights preempt any directly conflicting state laws or mandates that apply to specific procedures.1

1 Please note: pursuant to the injunction in Texas v. Becerra, No. 5:22-CV-185-H (N.D. Tex.), HHS may not enforce the following interpretations contained in the July 11, 2022, CMS guidance (and the corresponding letter sent the same day by HHS Secretary Becerra): (1) the Guidance and Letter’s interpretation that Texas abortion laws are preempted by EMTALA; and (2) the Guidance and Letter’s interpretation of EMTALA — both as to when an abortion is required and EMTALA’s effect on state laws governing abortion — within the State of Texas or against the members of the American Association of Pro Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) and the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA).
Your Right to Birth Control Coverage
The Affordable Care Act requires most employer-based health plans and private health insurance plans to cover family planning counseling and to cover certain birth control methods with no out-of-pocket costs to you if you have a prescription. This includes, but is not limited to:
Hormonal methods, like birth control pills and vaginal rings
Implanted devices, like intrauterine devices (IUDs)
Emergency contraception, like Plan B® and ella®
Barrier methods, like diaphragms and sponges
Patient education and counseling
Sterilization procedures
And additional forms of contraceptives approved, granted, or cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
To learn more about birth control coverage requirements for different types of health coverage, visit here. To learn more about birth control methods, visit here.
Some birth control methods are available over-the-counter and without a prescription including:
Emergency contraception, like Plan B®
Condoms
Birth control pills, like Opill®
Your Right to Access Medication
The law prohibits pharmacies that receive federal financial assistance from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, and disability in their health programs and activities. While pharmacies regularly dispense medications; make determinations regarding the suitability of a prescribed medication for a patient; and advise patients about medications and how to take them, pharmacies that receive federal financial assistance may not discriminate against pharmacy customers on the bases prohibited by statute when they do so. Read the guidance for the nation's retail pharmacies here.
HHS is committed to ensuring that people are able to access health care free from discrimination. If you believe that you or another person’s civil rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with HHS here
Your Right to Access Abortion
As a result of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, access to abortion will depend on the state you live in even more than before.
Mifepristone, in a regimen with misoprostol, has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 2000 for the termination of early pregnancy, and is safe and effective when used as directed. Mifepristone for medication abortion currently is available for dispensing by mail by certified prescribers or by certified pharmacies for prescriptions issued by certified prescribers, in addition to in-person dispensing in clinics, medical offices, and hospitals.
If you are covered through Medicaid:
While federal Medicaid funds can only cover abortion in the circumstances of rape, incest or if the patient’s life is in danger, there are over a dozen states that provide more comprehensive coverage for abortion using state Medicaid funds. To find out more on state funding of abortions under Medicaid visit this website
If you are covered through your employer, a plan offered through the Affordable Care Act Marketplaces, or elsewhere in the private market:
Coverage will vary by state, employer, and insurance company. In some states, private health insurance plans (including employer coverage) are required or allowed to cover abortion in either all or certain circumstances. Review your plan benefits document to find out whether your plan covers abortion. If you are using a plan where you are not the primary policy holder (for example if you are on a parent’s or spouse’s plan), be mindful that the policy holder may receive documentation from the plan known as an “Explanation of Benefits” that includes information about your care.
If you need help paying for an abortion, abortion funds may be able to provide financial assistance. Information about abortion funds and resources to help are available at AbortionFinder.org
If you need information on your state’s laws or legal help, you may consider this website: AbortionFinder.org
Your Right to Coverage of Other Preventive Health Services
Most employer health plans and health insurance plans must cover certain other preventive health services with no out-of-pocket costs because of the Affordable Care Act. Specifically, they are required to cover women’s preventive health services, including:
An annual well-woman visit to screen your health (which may be completed at a single visit or part of a series of visits over time) including a pap smear, breast exam and regular checkup
Certain counseling and screening services
Breast and cervical cancer screenings
Prenatal care, which is care you would receive while pregnant
Breastfeeding services and supplies
Interpersonal violence screening and counseling (e.g., sexual assault evidence collection exams)
HIV screening and sexually transmitted infection (STI) counseling
If You Do Not Have Health Insurance Coverage
Go to HealthCare.gov and see if you qualify for insurance coverage and financial assistance to make coverage more affordable.
Title X Family Planning Clinics provide a broad range of family planning services and provide preventive health services that benefit reproductive health, such as STI and HIV testing, HIV counseling, and HPV vaccines. Find a Title X Family Planning Clinic near you.
Health centers are community-based organizations that deliver high-quality primary health care services, regardless of your ability to pay. Find a health center near you.
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program provides medical care, medications, and essential support services to people with HIV. Find how to get HIV care and services through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program near you.
Civil Rights Complaints
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in health programs receiving federal financial assistance. If you believe that your or another person’s civil rights or health information privacy rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with HHS here.
Patient Privacy
Federal law prohibits health care providers, health insurance plans, and other entities subject to the HIPAA Privacy Rule from using or sharing your health information to investigate or impose liability on yourself or any person for the mere act of seeking, obtaining, providing, or facilitating lawful reproductive health care.2 To learn more click here.
Understand your rights to protect your private medical information under federal law. If you think your privacy has been violated, click here to learn how to file a complaint.

Department of Justice Resources
The U.S. Department of Justice is also working to protect access to reproductive health services under federal law. Visit the Justice Department's Reproductive Rights Task Force website for more information.
EMERGENCY CARE
Update on Emergency Medical Care
On June 27, the Supreme Court issued its order in Moyle v. United States, reinstating the protections of the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) for pregnant women experiencing emergency medical conditions in Idaho. On July 2, the Department of Health and Human Services sent a letter reminding hospitals and provider associations that it is a hospital’s legal duty to offer necessary stabilizing medical treatment, including abortion care (or transfer, if appropriate), to all patients in Medicare-participating hospitals who are found to have an emergency medical condition.1
The Biden-Harris Administration remains committed to protecting reproductive rights and maintains our long-standing position that women have the right to access the emergency medical care they need. Read statements from President Joe Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, and CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure.
Your Right to Emergency Medical Care
If you are a health care provider:
For frontline health care providers, EMTALA requires a hospital to provide stabilizing medical treatment to any pregnant patients presenting to the hospital with an emergency medical condition, regardless of any directly conflicting restrictions in the state where you practice.
This means that physicians and other qualified medical personnel are required by federal law to offer stabilizing medical treatment (or an appropriate transfer) to a patient who presents to the emergency department and is found to have an emergency medical condition. This requirement preempts any directly conflicting state law or mandate that might otherwise prohibit such treatment, such as state prohibitions or restrictions on abortions.
Stabilizing treatment could include medical and/or surgical interventions (such as abortion, removal of one or both fallopian tubes, anti-hypertensive therapy, or methotrexate therapy), irrespective of any directly conflicting state laws or mandates that apply to specific procedures.
Health care professionals and institutions with religious or conscience objections to providing abortions do not have to do so. To learn more click here.
If you are a patient:
If you present to the emergency department, you must be offered an appropriate medical screening examination to determine if you have an emergency medical condition. If you do, your health care providers in the emergency department are not permitted to wait until your emergency medical condition deteriorates before they provide stabilizing treatment.
The enforcement of EMTALA is a complaint driven process. If you or someone you know did not receive the emergency stabilizing medical care to which they were entitled, you can file an EMTALA complaint either by contacting your state’s survey agency or by using the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services webform.
To contact your state's survey agency, use the tool below.
To file a complaint with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services click here.

Sandor holds your waist as you grind against him. His cock has been buried in your cunt for over an hour and just being able to watch you riding him is enough to keep him hard and cum better than he ever has.
You’ve had the greatest honor in giving him two sons both of which are old enough to be riding thier own horses and exploring the village under the supervision of the guards you have at the castle and that is where they are now. Exploring the village as the festival goes on.
You’ve become pregnant with sanders third child only a few months ago your belly every growing as you prepare to give birth once again. Sandro cannot help the fact that he is utterly obsessed with your plump state. How you flesh grows softer and your body becomes rounder in support of the little life he helped create inside you.
Any chance he gets he. Has you strip and dance for him the new baby fat perfectly giving you more curves than before. Even now as he groans under you his large hand grips the flesh of your waist once in a while giving your apple ass a slap causing your cunt to clench around him as you jump.

“Fuck you taste like gold!” He groans deeply continuing to feast.
“Ah-ah s-Sandor i-“ you trail off as your toes curl and your pussy clenches. The sensation of your orgasm washed over you in shock causing your back to arch only giving your husband better access to your breasts.

TL;DR Project 2025
Project 2025 has crossed my dash several times, so maybe tumblr is already informed about the hellish 900-page takeover plan if Trump wins office again. But even the articles covering Project 2025 can be a LOT of reading. So I'm trying to get it down to simple bulleted lists…
Navigator Research (a progressive polling outfit) found that 7 in 10 Americans are unfamiliar with Project 2025. But the more they learn about it, the more they don't like or want it. When asked about a series of policy plans taken directly from Project 2025, the bipartisan survey group responded most negatively to the following:
Allowing employers to stop paying hourly workers overtime
Allowing the government to monitor people’s pregnancies to potentially prosecute them if they miscarry
Removing health care protections for people with pre-existing conditions
Eliminating the National Weather Service, which is currently responsible for preparing for extreme weather events like heat waves, floods, and wildfires
Eliminating the Head Start program, ending preschool education for the children of low-income families
Putting a new tax on health insurance for millions of people who get insurance through their employer
Banning Medicare from negotiating for lower prescription drug costs and eliminating the $35 monthly cap on the price of insulin for seniors
Cutting Social Security benefits by raising the retirement age
Allowing employers to deny workers access to birth control
Laurie Garrett looked at the roughly 50 pages within Project 2025 that deal with Health and Human Services (HHS) and other health agencies, and summarized them on Twitter/X in a series of replies. I've shortened even more here:
HHS must "respect for the sacred rights of conscience" for Federal workers & healthcare providers and workers broadly who object to abortions, contraception, gender reassignment & other issues - ie. allow them to deny services based on religious beliefs
HHS should promote "stable and flourishing married families."
Require all welfare programs to "promote father involvement" – or terminate their funding for mothers and children.
Prioritize adoptions via faith-based organizations.
Redefine sex, eliminating all forms of gender "confusion" regarding identity and orientation.
Eliminate the Head Start program for children, entirely
Ban all funding of Planned Parenthood
Ban birth control services that are "egregious attacks on many Americans' religious & moral beliefs"
Deny pregnancy termination pills, "mail-order abortions."
Eliminate Office of Refugee Resettlement; move all refugee matters to the Department of Homeland Security
Healthcare should be "market-based"
Ban all mask and vaccine requirements.
Closely regulate the NIH w/citizen ethics panels, ensuring that no research involves fetal tissue, leads to development of new forms of Abortions or brings profits to the researchers.
Redirect the Office of Global Affairs to promoting "moral conscience" & full compliance w/the Mexico City policy
The CDC should have no role in medical policies.
"Because liberal states have now become sanctuaries for abortion tourism," HHS should use every available tool, including the cutting of funds, to ensure that every state reports exactly how many abortions take place within its borders, at what gestational age of the child, for what reason, the mother’s state of residence & by what method.
I'm still looking for a good short summary of the environmental horrors that Project 2025 would bring if it comes to fruition…

okay more secret lives of mormon wives posting...
watching jen break down after reading the positive pregnancy test because she's struggling so bad with depression and can't handle another baby because on top of everything is actually heartbreaking. like no amount of "but her husband is supportive" or "but she's wealthy from the show" alleviates the fact that she lives in an incredibly repressive religious environment that doesn't encourage talking about mental health or seeking help, abortion, birth control, etc., and even if you love your children and being a mother, it is a massive toll on you and an undertaking that you shouldn't have unexpectedly thrust on you. terminating a pregnancy because you can't mentally handle it is reason enough, but you know because of her conservative environment it's not even something that's spiritually an option even if it is legally.
i would not be surprised if jen's a republican - it's utah, it's a heavily republican state. but all women deserve undisputed access to abortion and birth control, not just ones i agree with. it's a human right, that's not conditional.
(also don't start with the "then she shouldn't have gotten pregnant" shit. birth control methods fail, human error can happen, and having sex doesn't mean that you're consenting to having a child.)

Project 2025: A Blueprint for Democracy’s Demise?
What’s Happening?
It’s no longer a warning—it’s reality. Donald Trump has won the presidency, and Project 2025 (also known as the 2025 Presidential Transition Project) is now in full motion. This initiative, designed to reshape the executive branch of the U.S. federal government in the event of a Republican victory in the 2024 election, is no longer just a blueprint—it’s actively transforming the country before our very eyes.
This sweeping political takeover, spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation, is actively dismantling democratic institutions, expanding presidential power, and eroding fundamental rights. The time to stop it has passed—the time to resist is now.
Political scientist Laura Field warned that Project 2025 was never just about conservative policy: “They want to provide President Trump with the tools to overcome, in some cases, the legal or constitutional limits of the executive branch.” Now, those tools are in his hands. Constitutional law expert Erwin Chemerinsky previously called the plan “deeply frightening,” and Joe Biden described it as “the greatest attack on our system of government and personal freedom ever proposed in this country’s history.” Those warnings have become our new reality.
Here’s what is already happening:
50,000 career federal employees have been fired, replaced by hardline Trump loyalists—an unprecedented purge of government professionals.
The Insurrection Act has been invoked, allowing the U.S. military to enforce domestic laws and suppress opposition.
Political opponents are being targeted, with DOJ resources used to investigate and prosecute those who resist the administration.
The Supreme Court’s oversight has been weakened, effectively allowing Trump to rule with minimal checks on his power.
Paul Dans, a key Project 2025 leader, openly stated that they were preparing to “march into office with an army of ideologically aligned conservatives.” That march is over. The takeover is complete.
Why This Should Terrify You
The America you knew is disappearing. Here’s what is already at stake:
Federal Agencies Are Being Dismantled: The Department of Education is being gutted, civil rights protections are vanishing, and agencies that safeguard healthcare and environmental protections are under siege.
The Government Has Become a Propaganda Machine: Career professionals have been replaced with political operatives, ensuring that government agencies now serve only Trump’s interests.
Checks and Balances Are Crumbling: Trump’s power is expanding rapidly, with fewer legal and institutional barriers to stop him.
Dissent Is Being Crushed: Journalists, activists, and political opponents are being targeted, making free speech increasingly dangerous.
Kamala Harris had explicitly warned that Trump had a “detailed and dangerous plan called Project 2025”—and now, he’s executing it.
Why This Matters to You
If you’re a young adult, woman, or member of a marginalized community, you are already feeling the effects of Project 2025:
Your Reproductive Rights Are Disappearing: Nationwide abortion bans and birth control restrictions are being enforced.
Your Education Is Under Attack: Public school and university funding cuts are already affecting accessibility and affordability.
Your Future Is in Danger: Environmental deregulation is accelerating climate change, leaving younger generations to deal with the fallout.
Your Freedom to Be Yourself Is Under Threat: LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice efforts, and diversity programs are being dismantled at a rapid pace.
This is not a distant threat—it’s happening right now. And if you don’t take action, the damage may become irreversible.
The Bigger Picture
What’s happening in the U.S. mirrors global trends—authoritarian leaders are rising, using democratic systems to cement their control. Project 2025 is not just an attack on America’s democracy; it’s part of a worldwide movement to undermine freedom and human rights.
The frightening reality? Once a democracy is dismantled, history shows that it rarely comes back without a fight. The window for reversing this course is closing fast.
What Can You Do?
Stay Informed: Share updates on Project 2025, educate your peers, and spread awareness—knowledge is power.
Support Resistance Movements: Join organizations fighting for civil rights, democracy, and social justice.
Use Your Voice: Social media, protests, community action—speak out before it’s too late.
Prepare for the Worst: Recognize the risks of authoritarian rule and find ways to protect yourself and those around you.
We are no longer on the brink—we are in the crisis. Project 2025 is happening, and the time to resist is now. The question is: What will you do?

All these posts I see with the nerve to say, "We'll be alright, we'll be okay, we'll continue to fight, we'll continue to hope," have made me more weary than the plain truth.
It's over. That's it, it's over. Our country has been taken from us.
The genocide will be invigorated, and any hope of U.S. pressure bringing it to an end is gone. I'm so sorry.
Everyone with a uterus will lose any semblance of human rights they once enjoyed. You can say goodbye to being considered a human being, you can say goodbye to any consensus whatsoever that your very life ever mattered.
Every queer and transgender person will face outright persecution and lose the right to so much as exist as themselves, alongside which even cishet people will lose all right to self-expression.
Immigrants will lose whatever fragile hold they had allowing them to pursue life and happiness in this country and will be forced away from their families, jobs, and loved ones if not worse.
Police abuse against people of color and any political dissenters will be invigorated and their immunity from justice will expand.
The prices will continue to rise and the wages will drop or remain stagnant at best.
Disabled Americans, including any American with any pre-existing condition, will lose all access to healthcare as medical costs will skyrocket and our meager insurance will be stripped of us. We will be left in the street to die.
So don't fucking tell me to "hold onto hope" and don't you dare fucking tell me "we will be okay." Who is we? It isn't me, or any of my friends or loved ones. There is not a single person I know that doesn't fall into at least one of the above-mentioned categories. Not one person in this country am I acquainted with who has neither a functioning uterus, nor ANY medical condition whatsoever, nor is an immigrant or from an immigrant family, nor is a person of color, nor is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Think about it. Do you?
So, in God's name, who the fuck is "gonna be okay"? Anyone lucky enough to survive? Anyone who lucks out and manages to avoid a dangerous pregnancy (which will be soo easy once we lose access to birth control, I'm sure), or manages to stay under the ICE's radar, or manages not to be pulled over by a pig who needs to take out his rage over his wife surviving her last beating, or manages to not get sick or injured ever again? That's somehow not as comforting as people think it is.
And as for the genocide, I'm so sorry. I'm so, so, so sorry that my country has once again failed the people of Palestine. I hope all the people who abstained from voting because Kamala wasn't pro-Palestinian enough feel really good about themselves when they watch countless more children being slaughtered as Israel is bolstered in its capacity to accelerate the genocide beyond any level we've seen thusfar. I'm so, so sorry to my brothers and sisters in Palestine. I'm so sorry that we failed you.
This isn't to say we should stop fighting. But the time for hope and handholding and singing kumbaya is over. Compassion and love have failed, today has proved that. Violence is our only option left.

pleeeasssee miller i know you let the work stand on it's own but please tell us jsut a tad bit more about the valyerian sex magic!!!!
i meannnn
on valyrian sex magic
i am not the person to ask for the true asoiaf lore, of course; but there is obviously a pervasive source of magic across Planetos — accessible by many cultures in many different forms — and the "flavour" of the magic of each is very much a reflection, i think, of what GRRM wants us to glean about each. the Starks are themselves effectively the oldest singular consistent human organisation, if you will, that we actually meet in the books, and their magic is extremely rudimentary and primordial—they turn into animals and talk to trees. It's giving primordial man, it's giving Lucy—humanity as a symbiotic participant in (rather than an editor of) the natural world.
fast forward almost five thousand years: the valyrians are not tree hugging hunter-gatherers. they are the roman empire if the roman empire were composed of evil wizards. Their magic is dark, rooted in blood and fire—it was a tool of mind control, of asymmetric warfare, of wroth destruction. It required blood sacrifice and whips and horns and knives. It mated slave women to animals to produce grotesque chimeras. The entire thing is about the subjugation, not the embrace, of nature. Obviously until we have WoW or (lol) aDoS, we won't know—and maybe not even then—but the best prevailing theory in my view is that blood of the dragon is literal. Planetos has wyverns and, more importantly, firewyrms (flightless, firebreathing lizards) that the Valyrians almost certainly combined with human beings in some ritualistic hellcurse to produce the first dragons. this explains (1) the psychogenic bond between rider and dragon; (2) why nobody without valyrian blood can ride one; (3) the decline of the dragons correlating near-perfectly with the Andalisation (read: de-magifying) of the Targaryens; and perhaps most importantly, (4) why an animal that can fly hundreds of miles in a day would for some reason be found only on a single small isle in some random corner of a massive content that has volcanos and mountains and hot weather elsewhere. only one culture having dragons is like only one airport having planes.
much like the american NRA often asserts about guns, dragons are something of a sexual equaliser. part of why rhaenyra is so much freer than alicent when they're young is not merely because of her elevated social station (which is a principal part of it, yes) but also because she is in sole possession of one of the only six nukes in the world. At fifteen Rhaenyra possesses the power to go burn Riverrun to its foundation. I mean, if you thought Daenerys had firepower—regardless of D&D's absolute boneheaded visual mistakes in the show—Syrax is bigger than Drogon.
in any case i digress; i bring this up to make the point that while we do know valyria was a patriarchy of sorts, you can imagine a world in which a valyrian noble house would be headed (on occasion) by a woman because she is the most powerful imperial military leader because she is in command of the largest dragon. as a result, you can imagine a culture that embraces less patriarchal sexual and gender politics than do the Andals, and when take this inference a step further with the chimeras and the dragon-making and all the other frankensteinian blood magic, i just don't think it's that much of a leap to imagine that some dragon-wielding all-powerful female ruthless blood wizard in ancient Valyria decided—based on blood purity or necessity or ego or whatever—to impregnate some other woman. some maesters recorded that dragons appeared to change their sex—becoming able and unable to lay and fertilise eggs. Anyway, I just don't put genderbending and fempreg past the people who—if the theory is right—invented fucking dragons. It seems easier to do magic pregnancy than to do dragons. idk. melisandre gave birth to a shadow. nearly every ancient tradition on the planet can explore the miracle of virgin conception but we can't have lesbo baby?? why?? thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

Hello I worship at the altar of you and your beautiful wrinkly brain 🙂↕️ I have been very curious about one Yang JEONGIN and evolving/ascending abnormals.
1) is it like vampire puberty? Do they go through wild hormonal rages?
2) does he know what’s happening to him?
3) how???
I await your response with bated breath 😌
Xoxo, 🐉
my pretty dragon~ welcome to the blood roster, 🐉. you now have unrestricted lab access. this one’s not just lore. this is virology with fangs.
· · ──────༺♱༻────── · ·· · ──────༺♱༻────── · ·· · ──────
🧬 THE EVOLUTION OF JEONGIN
A Study in Mutation, Awakening, and Biological Betrayal
First: no. There’s no such thing as vampire puberty. No hormonal surges. No emotional teenager tantrums with fangs. That’s human projection.
What does happen? Is mutation. Spontaneous. Violent. Permanent.
WHAT THE FUCK IS AN ABNORMAL?
Ask any vampire scholar and they’ll give you three words:
“Gods made wrong.”
Abnormals aren’t turned. They aren’t infected. They aren’t created through magic or ritual. They are born — but they are not born right.
🩸 THE LEADING THEORY: GENETIC MUTATION
Vampire scientists call it the X-𝜃 gene — unofficially known as the Abnormality Mutation. It is not inherited in a classic Mendelian pattern. It breaks genetic logic. And it defies magical bloodline predictions.
The first recorded Abnormal? Born to two normal vampires. No family history. No known spell damage. But from birth: accelerated development, uncontrolled bloodlust, and an aura that melted wards on contact. Doctors tried magical suppression. Witches attempted blood-stabilization rituals. Nothing worked.
They could not suppress what never obeyed laws to begin with.
🔬 CURRENT WORKING MODEL: A RARE, SPONTANEOUS MUTATION
The X-𝜃 gene appears to:
Override standard vampire regulatory genes (e.g. those controlling bloodlust thresholds, regenerative speed, magical dampening)
Create non-linear power responses (i.e. feedback loops, surges, uncontrolled magic under stress)
Disrupt circadian/sunlight sensitivity genes entirely
Stimulate non-traditional energy pathways (Abnormals can metabolize emotional input: fear, lust, devotion)
The problem? There’s no single genetic pattern. It doesn’t run cleanly in families. It skips generations, reappears randomly, sometimes even activates mid-life (see: Jeongin).
🩸 ADDITIONAL HYPOTHESES:
✦ 1. Magical Environmental Trigger
Some believe the mutation is not fully genetic — that it lies dormant and is triggered by exposure to certain ancient magics, trauma, or spiritual fractures. This would explain:
Delayed awakenings (like Jeongin at 18)
Abnormals emerging from formerly Normal bloodlines
✦ 2. The “Reversion Theory”
Proposed by a rogue scholar. He states that Abnormals are not new — but a reversion to the original vampire species, pre-civilization. Before rules. Before enchantments. The “gods made wrong” weren’t wrong — they were just too real.
“Abnormals are the truth of vampirism, buried under generations of domestication.”
Most vampires refuse to acknowledge this theory due to its existential implications.
✦ 3. The Anti-Evolution Hypothesis
Some researchers believe the Abnormal mutation is a flawed evolutionary hiccup — one that grants immense power but guarantees instability. Like giving a child a loaded weapon: Powerful, yes — but self-destructive unless anchored by extreme regulation.
This is why Chan, despite being born Abnormal, still works tirelessly through Nocte Labs to decode it. He’s not trying to erase it. He’s trying to survive it.
“Just because I was born this way doesn’t mean I understand it. It’s still eating us alive.” — Chan, confidential Nocte memo
⚠️ WHY IT MATTERS FOR JEONGIN
Jeongin is an active subject in Chan’s ongoing mutation studies. Because he is the only documented case of a Normal born vampire:
From two Normal parents
Who began Awakening into Abnormality in early adulthood
And is approaching his biological lock age of 25
This makes Jeongin a biological anomaly inside an anomaly. And the moment he turns 25 — his cellular structure will “freeze,” locking in whatever he has become. Chan suspects he will fully Ascend.
But no one knows what a late bloomer Abnormal truly looks like after the lock. There are no records. There are no survivors.
🔎 JEONGIN: CASE STUDY
Born Normal. Normal parents. Normal bloodline. Nothing immediately strange. But when Jeongin turned 18, his body stopped obeying Normal limits.
Symptoms began:
Walking in sunlight without enchanted protection (should have burned — didn’t).
Uncontrolled sensory spikes. Could smell a lie across the room.
Pulse acceleration under moonlight.
Strength fluctuations. Once bent metal by accident.
Chan, having seen Abnormals before (and being one himself), noticed. And he’s been monitoring Jeongin ever since.
❓ WHAT IS HE NOW?
Jeongin is what vampire scientists call an Awakening Abnormal. A transitional state where the mutation is active, but not dominant.
He still has:
Some Normal weaknesses (e.g., minor sun fatigue after long exposure)
Normal magic stability
Emotional bond sensitivity
But increasingly, he also shows:
Feral reflexes under threat
Blood scent tracking
No need for glamour spells
Momentary time-bending speed
Vein bloom when angered — hallmark Abnormal sign
🎂 VAMPIRE AGING : WHY IT MATTERS
Vampires “lock” in their physical age at 21 or 25, depending on bloodline strength.
Jeongin is currently 24. Once he hits 25, his biology will lock — and if the Abnormal trait dominates by then, it becomes permanent.
Chan believes this is inevitable.
WHEN HE ASCENDS…
Once the full mutation takes hold, Jeongin will:
No longer require blood as frequently (Abnormals metabolize it differently)
Lose all sunlight sensitivity
Be immune to holy relics and emotional glamours
Become capable of soul-affecting speed and strength
Risk Overload Feedback if not stabilized (i.e., seizures, bloodcry, internal rupture)
Chan is currently working with Nocte Labs to design a stabilization ritual — something to help Jeongin maintain control once he ascends.
Because once he’s fully Abnormal? He can no longer afford to just “feel things.” Rage. Desire. Panic. All become weapons.

🐉 anon, your curiosity just opened a major lore vein. thank you for the ask, come again any time 💋🦇
