Ciao a tutti! Come ve la passate? Oggi, in una delle tante giornate afose dell’ estate ritorno su libromania per parlarvi dell’unico, solo ed inimitabile “La canzone di Achillee” -urli di gioia, applausi…!!!!-. In effetti questa recensione mi sta particolarmente a cuore, poiche’ “La canzone di Achille” e’ uno dei miei libri preferiti. Giuro che mi ha fatta innamorare (di Achillle in primis), ma in generale dell’atmosfera mitologica del racconto. Mi ha insegnato a guardare alla guerra di Troia (la noiosa gueerra di Troia studiata da tutti noi a scuola), in modo diverso, con interesse e trasporto. Vogliamo parlare poi della della coppia Achille+Patroclo?! La coppia che scoppia, letteralmente. Leggendo “La canzone di Achille” mi sono sentita a casa, pur essendo ambientato in un’epoca ben distante dalla mia: mi ha fatto riflettere, mi ha fatto sognare, mi ha fatto amare e mi ha fatto soffrire…Un carico di emozioni non indifferente, considerando che stiamo parlando sempre di inchiostro su carta…Ma sappiamo tutti che i libri sono molto di piu’, o meglio, lo possono diventare potenzialmente, se scritti dalla mano e dalla testa giusta. Che dire? Madelin Miller ha scritto un capolavoro, portandoci anche a comprendere come i Greci fossero in realta’ dotati di menti e pensieri ben piu’ aperti dei nostri laddove si discorreva di omosessualita’. Per l’appunto ho adorato che nel libro non si narrasse della classica storia d’amore, bensi’ di una relazione gay, incrementando dunque anche una maggiore sensibilizzazione sul tema della comunita’ LGBTQ+. Tanta stima verso l’autrice e verso il libro. Madeline Miller, scrivimi la vita ti prego! Anche in questo caso se doveste aver voglia di ascoltare la descrizione della trama e del contenuto in maniera piu’ approfondita di “La canzone di Achille” non esitate a chiedere. Ciauzzzzz alla prossima!

P.s. Come sempre ribadisco di scrivermi nei commenti laddove voleste sentirmi parlare di un particolare libro, soddisfero’ le vostre richieste il prima possibile. « Des mauvaises herbes ? »

Ce qui est génial en ce moment, c’est que les excités de la débroussailleuse et autres outils coupant à moteur, épouvantablement bruyants, sont confinés. En particulier, les services techniques des villes. Ceux qui ne supportent pas un truc qui dépasse, type taille en brosse sur la tête du lieutenant.

Je marche quotidiennement autour de la zone artisanale où il y a de grands terre-plein enherbés, et en ce moment, les « mauvaises herbes », comme ils disent, ont enfin le loisir de grandir, de s’épanouir….

Des coquelicots, des chardons en fleur d’un rose éblouissant, des plantains discrets, des mauves, du sureau, des achillees …….

Je ne me lasse pas d’aller leur faire un brin de causette. Ils sont passionnants.

Allez, on fait connaissance ?

Les mauves

Malva Sylvestris de son petit nom latin. Quelle douce beauté ! En tisane, elle apporte cette douceur à notre intestin ou à nos poumons car elle aussi antitussive.

Et pas difficile avec ça, elle pousse dans les remblais, les bords de route, les rond-point en sont souvent couverts. Je me demande si elle n’est pas fascinée par les voitures…. ça arrive !

Les coquelicots

Je n’en avais jamais vu autant en ville, ils ont investi tous les creux de trottoirs et beaucoup d’espaces enherbés de leurs fragiles corolles rouges. On peut manger les jeunes fleurs dans une salade. Et on peut préparer un sirop avec les fleurs séchées antitussif et antiinfectieux.

Le millepertuis

J’ai trouvé ce matin du millepertuis, hypericum perforatum, au pied d’un feu de circulation. Il me tendait les fleurs, sauve-moi ! disait-il, ils vont venir me ratatiner dès qu’ils pourront sortir. Alors je l’ai installé dans mon jardin. Il est ravi et s’est déjà fait des copains.

Astuce : Prélevez un pétale, écrasez-le entre vos doigts et vous verrez son huile rouge se répandre. Le millepertuis traite les états dépressifs légers. En macérat huileux, dit aussi huile de la Saint Jean, c’est un excellent remède aux brûlures et petites plaies et douleurs articulaires. Nous y reviendrons pour la recette du macérat huileux.

Le plantain lancéolé

Il est tout discret, il n’a pas la corolle éclatante des coquelicots, ni même le joli corymbe virginal des achillées, mais qu’il est gracieux ! c’est un de mes favoris ! C’est le plantain lanceolé, plantago lanceolata. Pas difficile non plus celui-là, il colonise les terrains pauvres, les bords de route, les lieux piétinés. Il adore qu’on lui marche dessus, plus il est piétiné, plus il pousse. Hum ! non, non, je ne ferai pas de psychanalyse de comptoir, promis, cher plantain….Il est indiqué pour traiter les piqures, les écorchures en externe. En interne, on le recommande pour les affections broncho pulmonaires et les allergies entre autres. Je lui accorderai un billet entier.

L’achillée

Et pour finir, l’achillée millefeuille, l’herbe d’Achille. Mais on l’appelle aussi, l’herbe aux charpentiers, l’herbe à la coupure. Tiens donc, les appellations nous donneraient elles une piste ?

Eh oui, c’est une grande vulnéraire. Elle répare, elle cicatrise. Savez que c’est le centaure Chiron qui l’a offerte à Achille, afin de guérir les multiples blessures que reçoit un guerrier. Le suc de ses feuilles mélangé à un peu de salive et vous avez une compresse parfaite pour toutes les écorchures.

Comme les autres, elle n’est pas difficile sur ses conditions de logement. Les talus, les prairies, les pelouses, les lieux incultes, tout lui va.

Et voilà un panorama de toutes ces merveilleuses que l’on dit mauvaises.

Elles sont belles, courageuses et très utiles.

Sanremo 2021

Hello everyone! Here you’ll find this year’s Sanremo’s stuff and news (I’ll be uploading this post through all the week). The Festival, that this year will see no public in the theater, will start on tuesday March 2nd at 8:30 pm (it’ll probably have a 5 minutes “anteprima = preview” every night), and end on saturday March 6th, when the final will be broadcasted.

I’m not sure if or where the usual Dopofestival, with the analysis of the show at the end of each night, will be broadcasted (here you can find last year program L’Altro Festival)

Hosts & Guests + Other Stuff

This years’ host will be Amadeus (who choose the songs taking part into this Sanremo), a TV and radio host. He will be accompanied by Fiorello, another famous Italian host, and probably, as last year, by a different co-host woman each night: Matilda De Angelis (actress, 1st night), Elodie (singer, 2nd  night), Vittoria Ceretti (model, 3rd night), Barbara Palombelli (host/writer, 4th night). On saturday, there might be different co-hosts women. Each night, Achille Lauro (singer, last year Sanremo partecipant) will go on stage and perform. Also the football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic (one night accompanied by coach and former football player Sinisa Mihailovic) will be there every night or so. Some of the one-night guests might be the singers Negramaro, Alessandra Amoroso, Il Volo (on wednesday’s night, they will honor Ennio Morricone), Loredana Bertè, Mahmood (friday’s night), Ornella Vanoni and Francesco Gabbani’s duet (on saturday); sport champions as Alex Schwazer (walker, who will tell his story - he’s been wrongly accused of doping) and Alberto Tomba + Federica Pellegrini (former sky champion and actual swimming champion, on saturday’s night will promote the 2026 Winter OG taking place in Milano and Cortina).

How it works

There will be 26 singers in the Campioni (champs) section and 8 in the Giovani (young/newbies) section. The winner of the competition of the Campioni section will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest: if he/she/them won’t accept, the choice will be another artist, usually the 2nd classified. On the 3rd night, there will be the usual duets night. The Campioni’s singers will perform (with another Italian or foreign artist) a song from the Italian folk/song writer’s collection. As last year, the rank at the end of the 3rd night, will change also the rank after the 2 first nights (votes will be added to the general rank).

Day 1 - co-hosts: Matilda De Angelis, Fiorello. Guests: Achille Lauro, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Loredana Bertè, Alessia Bonari (nurse), Italian Police Marching Band with the saxophonist Stefano Di Battista, Russian gymnast Olg’a Kapranova We’ll listen to 13 Campioni’s songs (in order of performance: Arisa, Colapesce e Di Martino, Aiello, Francesca Michielin e Fedez, Max Gazzè, Irama, Madame, Maneskin, Ghemon, Coma_Cose, Annalisa, Francesco Renga, Fasma) and 4 Giovani’s (Gaudiano, Elena Faggi, Avincola, Folcast). The first two Giovani’s songs classified (Folcast, Gaudiano) will pass to friday’s night’s final. We have a first rank of the 13 Campioni who performed tonight:

Day 2 - co-hosts: Elodie, Fiorello Prob. guests: singers: Achille Lauro, Laura Pausini, Il Volo, Gigliola Cinquetti, Marcella Bella, Fausto Leali, Enzo Avitabile (saxophonist) and Alex Schwazer (walker). The remaining 13 Campioni’s (in order of performance: Orietta Berti, Bugo, Gaia, Lo Stato Sociale, La rappresentante di lista, Malika Ayane, Extraliscio, Ermal Meta, Random, Fulminacci, Willie Peyote, Gio Evan, Irama) and 4 Giovani’s songs (Wrongonyou, Greta Zuccoli, Davide Shorty, Dellai) will be performed tonight. The first two Giovani’s songs classified (Wrongonyou, DavideShorty) will pass to friday’s night’s final. We’ll have another rank of the 13 Campioni who performed tonight, and then one with all the 26 contestants (a mix with day 1′s rank).

**Irama will not take part because of Covid positivity among his staff (he’s negative but he has to be quarantined anyway). Amadeus decided to show the recorded clip of his performance.

「SUMMER FLOWERS」 Non amo molto il giallo in giardino, ma per lei ho sempre fatto un’eccezione, la Rudbeckia. Esistono diverse specie e varietà (anche vari colori), io preferisco quelle con il bottone centrale nero come la Rudbeckia fulgida. È originaria degli Stati Uniti sud-orientali e grazie ai suoi rizomi forma spesso colonie non più alte di una ottantina di centimetri. Ama posizioni soleggiate, tollera molto bene la siccità e non viene colpita da malattie o insetti. Produce moltissimi fiori da luglio fino all’autunno che possono essere utilizzati come fiore da taglio, questo favorirà la crescita di nuovi capolini. Sono magnifiche accostate a graminacee, achillee ed Echinops. Altre rudbechie interessanti sono la Rudbeckia maxima, dal fogliame glauco con il bottone centrale scuro e molto allungato, e la Rudbeckia laciniata con il centro verde, entrambe possono arrivare a un paio di metri. Mi piacciono così tanto che ho una piantina anche nel mio balcone! 🌾 . [Eng] 🇬🇧 I don't like yellow in the garden, but I always made an exception for it, Rudbeckia. Un buongiorno green. Mi sono sempre chiesta quale sia il mio fiore preferito. Credo che sia quello che ho dinnanzi. Anche se propendo per peonie e dalie o vincere facile con rose. Negli ultimi anni sto scoprendo un modo di varietà che prima “non vedevo” nonostante fossero sotto i miei occhi. Ho scoperto che la cicuta l’ho sempre raccolta, la Carotina selvatica ha assunto più fascino che mai, che dire di serenella Achillee e Zinnie? Le camelie trionfano nel mio giardino, il glicine, che devasta tutto se non si effettuano potature generose, si affaccia prepotente sul postico a est . Ho ripreso a curar gerani, mi piace l’odore, non il profumo, perché mi ricorda quando ero piccola. Sono molto legata agli odori. Le grasse- è diventato splendido replicarle. La Monstera di una son moltiplicate a 4 , e due sono in idrocoltura . La peperomia- pilea- ora ne ho 6. Ok... calma... tra un po’ vado a vivere dal vicino😂😂😂. Nose A volume of yellow fruits, osmanthus, marron chaud and linden. Very aromatic. 

Palate Fresh and simple flavor with some fruits. Strong and long acidity makes the wine elegant. A hint of citrus and its peel. Good for drinking now.

Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Bonnigal Bodet vignerons 

Nose Aromatic flavor. Acacia, yellow peach compote, quince, honey... Simple and fruity. 

Palate Fruits flavor in covering acidity. Smooth, sweetness of ripe pear and peach. Growing in cool area but a hint of dry raisins.
