How to Manifest what you want (Hint: Stop doing stuff)
I've been on a manifesting journey for years now, and sometimes it's frustrating, especially when you want something SO bad and it doesn't show up. You've done all your manifestation methods and affirmations but your manifestation are no where to be seen. You get discouraged (rightly so) but that doesn't mean that law of attraction/law of assumption doesn't work. In fact, let me say this right now if you're feeling discouraged DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
You're not manifesting what you want, but why?????
i'll tell you why.
You're trying too hard. You can't TRY and manifest anything. as a wise Yoda once said, "Do or do not, there is no try". Let's say you want a purple lambo (Because honestly, same), you can't try and manifest the Lamborghini. If you do try, it'll never happen because by trying you are automatically sending the message to the universe that you don't have it. If you had what you wanted, you wouldn't need to try to do anything, would you?
Now, this isn't to say that methods and affirmations don't work because they do, it's just you need to have the right mind set. Use them as a reminder of what you already have. When you say an affirmation or do a manifestation method, focus on the gratitude. If you use methods to try and manifest, you never will because you'll always be stuck in the state of TRYING instead of HAVING.
Got it?
So, take some time off and re-evaluate your desires. If you're doing methods or affirmations or subliminals or whatever, look at your mindset. Are you using these things to try and get something? Or are you using them as a reminder to be grateful for you desires that you know you already have. (Law of assumption anyone?)
Stop trying to do anything. How would you feel if you already had you desires? Happy? Confident? Be in that state. think from that state. act from that state and the physical reality MUST reflect your inner world and desires.
So stop trying and relax. Have fun. YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT ALREADY! How cool is that?

ACTING AS IF.
If this doesn't resonate with you, do not accept it as your truth. These are just my thoughts!
Hot take: In my experience, having a mental diet/thinking as if/living in the end/changing your mindset or POV for manifestation or law of assumption is only half the "work."
You change yourself because you're the operant power and you are all there is, you are taking back your power instead of giving power to the fake circumstances and "3d" to tell you what you have to to make any changes. These things are powerless and only exist because you assume they do. So, in order to fully change yourself and fully commit, try acting as if in addition to thinking as if.
What is acting as if, Ssera?
Acting as if is behaving/presenting yourself like the version of you/your reality as if it is in your favor. For example, lets say someone decides to be confident one day after years of not being confident. This is a decision to change their character - it's not like they "do" anything - they just decide/assume and the changes are instant. What they "did" was decide they were now a confident person, and then their mindset and "acting as if" naturally aligned!
I think logic is a reason some people may be worried to act as if, because "what if this" and "what if that" or "I can' t because of [irrelevant opposing circumstance]," or "I have to get this before I act as if." But none of these things are true. When a delivery is on its way, do you act as if its yours before or after it comes to your door? Before, right? Because you placed the order and paid, so you KNOW it's yours regardless of whether it's physically there with you or not. Same thing with manifesting. You decide it's yours mentally, so act as if it's yours, too! This doesn't imply that you have to go spend money that "3d you doesn't have" or do something that will endanger 3d you. It just means your behavior.
EXAMPLE! ><
If you assume you are a KPOP idol, this is how you could act as if:
*Checking phone, while relaxing, checks Instagram* "OH MY GOSH! My recent Instagram post has such cute comments on it! [My/Our] fans are so sweet! OMG WAIT TWICE'S NAYEON COMMENTED TOO?!?! I will CRY!! She's my inspiration! I'm so thankful for all this, EEEK! ..... Wait, haha, what time is it? *sees the time* Oh shoot! I'd better get ready, [I/we] have dance rehearsal for [my/our] upcoming comeback! *puts phone down and goes to get ready*
And you would just act this way throughout the day!
"In the 3d - going to school" Act as if going to a tour rehearsal day
"In the 3d - doing chores" Act as if you're at a fanmeeting!
"In the 3d - something "other than your assumption" Act as if (what it would be in your desired reality/an ideal situation) because that's what it IS!
This DOESN'T MEAN you stop your ego/body-mind from doing what it needs to do in the "3d," just DON'T react to this illusion, it isn't real. Let the illusionary "3d you" do their homework, go to bed, drink water, do chores, etc.. but behave as if you are "doing things" in your ideal reality, not the things you don't want.
It also doesn't necessarily mean "doing things as if you have what you want," but if "doing" helps you, go for it!
Another example:
Let's say you assume you can sew clothes or produce music, or that you can sing amazingly. You don't HAVE to sing every day or make your own music or design clothes physically "in the 3d," but if you already do these things and want to assume you're a pro at them, keep doing them if you want to! In short, don't have the mindset that it's done and act as if you're waiting for things to change in your favor!

i took a little break from tumblr bc i spent way too much time looking at posts instead of applying what the posts told me.
after the break i realized a couple things:
every question or concern i had could be answered with “assume differently.” for example, if i wondered whether i could manifest something, i should assume i can and it will be. or if i was worried about not entering the void, i should assume that i can enter the void, and it will be. it’s all about changing your assumptions on things.
i noticed that i should be embodying the state of abundance rather than embodying a state of lack. instead of worrying about money or not feeling like i have enough money, i should be embodying the state of someone who doesn’t worry about money or someone who has lots of it. embodying the state of lack only reinforces the idea that you lack something. i should be reinforcing the idea that i have whatever i want.
i realized i had to stop identifying with failure. if i “don’t enter the void” that doesn’t mean i failed. i shouldn’t make failure an option, and i shouldn’t beat myself up over it. one, because we enter the void every day. two, identifying with failure means i’m embodying the state of someone who “fails” to enter the void instead of embodying the state of someone who enters the void effortlessly.
those are a couple things i’ve come to terms with over my break. it’s all about my perspective changing. i’m going to stop identifying with failure, embody the state of abundance, and change my assumptions to suit my desires

About manifesting that SP {about feeling insecure!}
I think there's stages to manifesting your SP, not like methods but states of mind that some of us go thru. I've seen it with other people and I've experienced it myself and I thought i'd share my two cents on the topic.
The first stage is desire. Realizing we want them. Realizing we like them, realizing those feelings. It's a simple stage. We see it, We like it. We want it.
The next stage is when we manifest it. However you do this is up to you. You use affirmations, go into the void, use sigils, etc. But you know what you want and you know how to get it and you put in the effort to get it. Putting in the effort is a coin toss for whether it's easy or hard for you, depending on where you personally are in your manifestion journey and if you've found what works for you or not.
But what about the time between when you start manifesting and the time when it materializes in your 3d?
For me, I found myself looking thru their social media and as I went further back in their timeline I found a video where my SP was awkwardly flirting with a girl who's- from what I could gather in such a short time- drastically different than me. Immediately thoughts of doubt and insecurities flooded my mind, despite my past persistence in manifesting it and the movement I've been seeing in my 3d.
{For context, the SP i'm manifesting is a famous twitch streamer, and I'm manifesting a friendship to lovers relationship that'll start in six to eight months from now- July. So it's not going to be "instant" but I believe it's already manifested.}
Due to my past relationships, of having a crush on a guy who's best friend was the complete opposite of me and he ended up dating her instead {now they're married.} Liking someone and seeing that their type is so polar opposite from who i am, is an insecurity trigger for me. So i started to feel that insecurity creep up and at first I just kept persisting in the fact that "it's already done" and tried to get into a meditative state of separating myself from the insecure thoughts, but after a few more minutes i decided I just needed to feel the emotions, the insecurity and work thru it and then let it go.
So this post is already long but I want to share an important fact for anyone else who's in the stage of feeling insecure or having doubts about manifesting your SP, or if you've already thought about giving up, this next part is for you!
I don't care who your SP is. A famous actor or the person you sit next to in math class.
I don't care if they have a "type" and their "type" is someone who exudes introverted black cat energy and you are the epitome of sunshine and rainbows.
I don't care if you have 5,000 miles between you two or 5 houses.
I don't care if they've said they'd never date someone like you.
None of that matters. I don't care and you shouldn't either and here's why :
You create reality.
Read that again. You. Create. Reality.
You're capable of turning the moon blue. You're capable of making it snow in the desert. And you're capable of manifesting your SP thinking of you as perfection.
Yeah, maybe in one reality my SP thinks i'm annoying and they wouldn't ever imagine dating me. But guess what? That's not the only reality there is. And there's no reason why that's the reality I have to be aware of. Because there's another reality, where my SP has the biggest crush on me from the second he notices me. There's a reality where my SP can't imagine not living without me in his life after we meet. There's a reality where I spend the rest of my life with my SP living happily ever after. And that's the reality i'm going to be aware of.
And that's the reality you can be aware of- you, with your SP adoring you.
So feel the insecurity, feel the doubts but then remember in the reality of your imagination, that scenario of when your SP asks you to be their partner, or if you're the one asking them and they smile and say "I was wondering when you'd ask me." Remember that, remember that that's already happened.
Your imagination is reality.
Imagination is memories you haven't experienced yet.
I know this is super long, I had the intention of making it short but here we are.

There was a truism that made the rounds some years back, calling folks to imagine what they wanted. It was based upon the proverb: Without vision, the people perish. The idea was big in athletics, where players were to visualize catching the ball, or returning the impossible serve, and those things would somehow become reality. I suppose it is more true than not. I imagined myself dying a slob and that appears quite achievable and within reach. The will can only do so much, though. One needs to practice. One needs to set their goals and take steps. Don't worry about whether or not you'll accomplish what you set out to. Be satisfied in the journey itself. Then we can die happy (slob or not).

how to trick your subconscious
answer: you don’t 😃
i’ve done more research over the past couple of months and the truth is...you don’t trick your subconscious at all.
’to trick’ means to cunningly deceive someone. if you’re tricking your subconscious by acting as if you’re in your reality that means you’re lying to it, and implies that *thing* is not a fact, or not true. when ‘tricking your subconscious’ you are trying to CONVINCE your own subconscious mind that you have your manifestations which means you, yourself, do not believe you are in your dr. if you did believe you were in your dr then you would not feel the need to lie to your subconscious.
if you don’t trick your subconscious then how can you get it to cooperate and make it believe you are in your 4d?
”the conscious mind impresses the subconscious mind, while the subconscious expresses all that is impressed upon it.”
this is a phrase that really stuck out to me.
the more you repeat something, the faster it becomes ingrained in your subconscious. repetition and consistency is a shortcut to aligning with your desired reality.
all you need to do is be consistent with the feeling of already having whatever you want and maintain that feeling for as long as you can. eventually it will become natural and you will fall out of alignment with the things in your 3d
that means saying affirmations regularly, revising at night and in the morning, staying in the god state, imagining talking to people in your dr- whatever it is that you do. do it as if you’re in your dr right now and your subconscious literally cannot and will not reject that.
it might take an hour, a day, a week etc for your subconscious to squash your old beliefs and perceptions but it WILL happen, it has to happen. your outer reality has to reflect your inner reality.
you can write down your affirmations in case you forget them, find a video you can use to visualize a scene, literally all you need to do is find a state you want to be in and ✨that’s it✨, stick with it and don’t react to your 3d reality.

Hi i've been wondering about what i've been trying to manifest which is my dream s/o but then I also decided that I wanted our relationship to be a first and last type of love like as we get older we go on to get married and I want to script her as growing up to be a pro soccer player and me a housewife but still doing my passion in art. How do I go about manifesting this? does it seem far fetched?

It’s not far fetched at all! Scripting and visualizations is key here. Visualize all of those dates and scenarios and make sure you have fun with it! Scripting in general is good but the specific technique I would use is a love list where you write down in detail exactly what qualities your s/o has.
As you make the love list work on embodying those characteristics on your list cause you attract what you are. So if you write that your s/o is funny and charming or whatever then work on those qualities as well.
You also said that you want to be a housewife, in that case I would work on building your housewife persona. What kind of housewife do you want to be when you manifest your s/o? Figure out the answer to that and start bridging the gap between your current life and your desired life. Cause here’s the thing. We can’t wake up one day with all of our desires manifested out of thin air. We can always wake up in a better reality using meditation but we live in a universe where there exists a time delay so things come to us in waves.
So to bridge the gap between your current reality and your desired reality is to start embodying those housewife traits now. What does your ideal day with your s/o look like? Maybe you see yourself waking up and making them a fancy breakfast in bed? How do you act as if that’s already happened? You learn to cook, you make yourself those fancy breakfasts. You buy yourself the types of clothes you want to wear on a date with your s/o and you get glammed up every day exactly the way you would do if you were dating the love of your life. (These are just examples, you don’t have to do exactly that)
Act like you’re already in love. What would you do if you were already in love and had already met your future partner? You would plan dates, go shopping, cook for them and so much more. So do that now. Plan all your future dates now. Write it down, make an itinerary for everything you are going to do once you meet your partner now, don’t wait for them to show up first. Reality is like a mirror. We can only see our reflection in the mirror smile if we smile first. That’s how it works with manifestation as well.

Keep It Simple
The worst of my bout with COVID is over. Tomorrow will be two weeks since I noticed the uncomfortable tingle in my throat. Yesterday marks one week since I suffered the worst of it. I am on the mend, but some symptoms still linger. As much as I want them to go away, I need these remaining mild symptoms to linger a little while longer as a reminder. I need to be reminded of the promises I made to my higher power that I would take better care of myself. To sleep when I am tired, and not to use substinances, screens, and people to distract myself from the work and pains of living my life on life's terms. I need to be reminded of how honest I was with myself as I pleaded through prayer to survive this virus. I need to be reminded that I will not find my salvation in thinking about what I need to do. I will only save myself by focusing on my higher power and walking my talk. If I want things to be different, then I need to continue breaking from my old habits and coping mechanisms and act as-if, being different, everyday, one day at a time.
I had very little appetite while I was in the depths of COVID. For a few days, all I could tolerate was Lipton Noodles packets with some added rice. The first day I felt a little better, I knew I needed to consume calories, protein, and fiber to help my decimated digestion system. I decided to keep it simple, and made myself two eggs, scrambled in the pan, and two slices of wheat toast with butter. I also decided to nourish my soul by playing one of my favorite games with my mind. I call it, "look how lucky I am..."
I was raised by an early Boomer mother, born in the latter half of the 1940's. She was raised by parents who grew up during the depression, and she also spent a great deal of time with her maternal grandparents, who together with my maternal grandparents, all survived The Great Depression. The love and hardships that my mom was raised with gave her the ability to always find silver linings and to make do with what she had. I will write more about her someday, but for today, I just want you to know that I am very grateful for her and her simple, everyday values that bring me comfort when I need it most. My mother's spirit is part of the great amalgamation that is my "higher power".
As I was making my breakfast, I put on a YouTube Music playlist called: Depression Era, Golden Age of Radio. I remembered stories I was told about what it was like living through world wars, the 1918 flu, and the Great Depression. While preparing my meal, these memories of stories from my family made me thankful to have a stove, cookware, a toaster, sliced bread, butter, eggs, salt and pepper, and a warm home with indoor hot water plumbing to live in. By my grandparents and great grandparent's standards, I have everything I need to live a good and simple life. By simply having a job and a home in the United States, I am in the top 5% of the world. Look how lucky I am.
As horrible as COVID has been for me, it helped me get to bed earlier, I haven't had any marijuana in two weeks, I've limited my screen time, I removed all the social media apps from the home screen of my phone, I've logged off from work by 5:30pm each day, I'm being more intentional about my meals, and with not getting the munchies from the pot, I'm not snacking all the time like Scooby and Shaggy. And as shitty as being sick was, literal pun intended, I am back to my pre-COVID lockdown weight. So yeah... I'm letting this recent mental bottoming out affect me, and I'm getting out of my own way and drawing even closer to my higher power. Look how lucky I am to be alive and be able to change for the better.
For what it's worth, that meal of eggs, toast, and a small glass of orange juice, it was the most delicious fucking meal I have had in a long time. I never want to forget the depth of gratitude I felt on that morning; ever.

sharing my dream/ passions/loves bc why not🤭
sammy ingram~ i loooove sammy ingram sm! i’ve known about loa since middle school but i never really got into it until 2020. i learned about loa from my mom but she wasn’t very serious about it either at the time. i would see angel signs and be like ohh an angel number but never really knew what they meant nor did i really care. in 2020- a few months ago i had SO MANY limited beliefs. i would script and nothing I MEAN NOTHING!!! would ever happen i literally have books full of manifestations that never happened and so i gave up on loa( law of attraction at the time) i believed in having to let go in order to get your manifestations and that was very hard for me so i gave up and even when i did that nothing came. at the end of october this year, i came across manifestion and got really serious about it bc i was going through some shit ok😭. so i knew about sammy ingram since last year but only watched a few of her videos bc i didn’t really care to. i came across her page again in october( i TRULY believe that this was a message from my higher self. i got a youtube notification and it was sammy. i literally forgot all about her i haven’t watched her in a year at the time) i started watching her videos I MEAN BINGING and i got obsessed with her. sammy really really helped me get rid of my limiting beliefs and is also the reason why i’m so serious about manifesting today. she teaches loa ( law of assumption )
affirmations~ as i said in the previous paragraph😭 i used to script and nothing would ever happen. i knew about affs before sammy but i never really used them, and so when i found sammy again i started saying affirmations daily AND GIRL WHEN I TELL YOU MY LIFE CHANGED i started living my best life with the affimations i also did ( and still do sometimes ) honey placebos. i would say “ this honey will help sweeten my day and help me have a good/ wonderful day” something along the lines of that and they really worked!!
subliminals i only really listen to subliminals from time to time. i’ve known about subliminals since 2020. i came across one on my recommendations on youtube and got obsessed. the only results from subliminals were physical things such as; getting prettier, attention like getting hoes and stuff😭 and boobs. also for some reason in the beginning of 2021 (i think) i wanted to be skinny bc i was a little thick and i listened to subliminals for it but then i changed my mind and a little after i stopped listening i lost A LOT of weight😭 also i was obsessed with getting my boobs smaller and they definitely did get smaller but not as small as i wanted but i had a lot of limited beliefs at the time so that plays a part in why but then i stopped caring and stopped listening.
what im working on atm
void state- i knew about the void and shifting since like 2020. i tried to shift a few times in 2020, got really close but never actually shifted and so i stopped caring. i also haven’t shifted or tried since because i don’t care for it. this year i came across the void again bc of tumblr and decided i wanna do it. so i’ve been working on the void for about a week and a few days now. i’ve been really close to entering each time i tried but i had problems focusing and keeping my body still for a good amount of time. so i decided to take a break. about two days ago i came across @fleurlx ‘s (correct me if im wrong) void challenge. basically in the challenge you pick a date to enter the void and you cannot procrastinate or change the date. then up until the date you picked you say void affimations you can use however many you want but i chose one which is “i enter the void instantly” and if i feel myself being negative or anxious i just tell myself the void is easy because i am the void ( i know that itself is an aff but i don’t say it when i’m affirming ) so i’m affirming robotically ( got that from sammy😜 ) and today is the date i set to enter the void wish me luck lmao ( y’all don’t have to bc imma enter anyway🤭 )
self concept- there’s not really much to this just getting rid of negativity and doubts ( which i have none🤞🏾 ) also confidence, just been telling myself i’m gorgeous with and without makeup and i am the star in any room i stand in plus more but not as much.
