THE VIXEN ASPECT

If you have ever wondered what is the astrology behind idolized actresses, supermodels, video vixens/models, social media beauty influencers or the girls whose fame/popularity can mostly be attributed to looks, you are at the right place.

We'll look at Venus and the other Venus archetypes asteroids with as much influence as the planet of beauty.

In today's episode we will focus on Venus and Aphrodite and the Uranian/Aquarius 11th and 23rd degrees which rule over things that influence larger social groups which in modern day times would be more so the internet and if we go back in time, it would be media in the form of TV, newspapers etc.

We will also look at the opposition degrees which is Sun/Leo ruled 5°, 17° and 29°. The Leo ruled degrees are a bit self-explanatory as Leo is about the spotlight/ being at the center of the stage. With Venus or Aphrodite in these degrees, the natives with said aspect are often put in the spotlight for their beauty amongst other things.

If you look at the beauties that influence related trends and were/are heavily idolized for their beauty, you'll most likely find a Uranian/Sun degree Venus or Aphrodite. We will get into the other beauty spotlight degrees some other time.

Some meta thoughts as someone new to Ace Attorney

Holy FUCK does this franchise know how to use its medium. No matter what that medium currently is, it always takes FULL ADVANTAGE.

The way the story unfolds in the game is structured perfectly for being a game, and specifically for us as the player being locked almost exclusively to Phoenix’s perspective. Phoenix gets more tasks to do because we as the player want to do tasks, and we find out information as he does.

The changes made in the anime work to make the story fit its new medium. We’re no longer locked into Phoenix’s perspective, which allows some of the other characters moments of spotlight they didn’t have before, and allows us as the audience to know occasionally something he doesn’t, which builds tension.

And Turnabout Spotlight? Uses the medium of theater BETTER THAN A LOT OF PLAYS I’VE SEEN. The unique strength of theater is its ability to directly interact with the audience, and Spotlight begins with a play-within-a-play! The first scene isn’t even onstage, it’s in the house as the characters find their seats!!

I just. Damn. This franchise fully understands the strengths and weaknesses of every medium it uses, and it takes full advantage of them. I’m having a BLAST.

i've mentioned this a lot on discord before, but i feel like the fact that wigfrid's in-game alias is 'the performance artist' really... i don't know what the word i'm looking for is. but i feel as though it did a pretty big disservice for her character.

like, yes, she is a performance artist. but when she was first introduced through hamlet- before she had much room for characterization beyond the base game and the two dlc- it wasn't immediately obvious she was an actress. it was pretty clear to some extent she was pretending, but the concept of acting- of the artistic undertones, of the motif of the performance- could only be found in a total of like. four quotes. and three of them were from shipwrecked.

i feel as though if that was kept hush hush, it may have convinced more people to engage with her... digging around in the quotes, finding the odd ones out, coming to a collective conclusion on the secrets of her identity. it probably wouldn't even be something casual players would know, if they didn't experiment with her.

i guess the part i find the biggest shame is that since it's so obvious to the community that wigfrid is an actress (you know, because the game literally spells it out for you), they forget that it's not obvious for. the rest of the survivors, maybe. even if wigfrid was popular, it's unlikely anyone other than maxwell would have known or heard about her. but there's so many fics i read where there's just this precontext that it's obvious that shes acting.

it's obvious that she's pretending. but pretending and acting are very different things.
