The graduation party has barely begun when Cecelia, our founder and the original Town Bicycle, up and dies from old age! While Gabi loses her mind, Selina Kyle announces to the town that she is pregnant with Victor Fries’ baby. Gabi eventually pulls herself together and introduces herself to the Grim Reaper, hoping to hit it off with him (She didn’t). In the aftermath, Percy makes a wonderful mermaid lady statue, and Grant goes swimming. This sort of non sequitur nonsense continues to fill the void until Gabriella comes of age (not quite yet, but just giving you a heads up). Joe MacDuff and Selina Gonzalez are engaged, as are Bill Misfit and Pamela Isley. Wilhelmina Wolff & Argus Brown add Melanie Wolff to the family. Two couples, Stacia Wynn and boyfriend Felipe Pok, and Amy Whitaker and boyfriend Rashad Macias announce that they are expecting, with Amy and Rashad adding that they are now married. Amy’s human twin, Ada, is not being left out of this romantic excitement and announces that she is dating Jack Napier (i.e.: ya boi the Joker). Talvez você me julgaria cruel se me conhecesse de verdade, mas em meu colo não há nada que te cure do seu velho trauma de infância e dos erros que você insiste em cometer. Thaddeus Boucher, a paparazzi dudelio, shows up, and Gabriella introduces herself to him while waiting for her date to show up for prom. As they do that, Thadd waltzes right on into the house and takes pictures of a grieving Percy. Meanwhile, back at prom, Gabi does the funky chicken, and Bradford asks her to go steady. She accepts, and as is traditional at Sims prom, the Prom King, Grant, is announced shortly after the beginning of the dance. Word reaches the family that their newest brother-in-law, Rashad Macias, has died, leaving sister Amy (Whitaker) Macias a pregnant widow. Gabriella is announced Prom Queen, and she and Brad share their first kiss. Venus Macon confesses that she has a crush on Grant. Gabi and Brad lead the dances, as they are simply the coolest kids in school, a power couple, and all that. Brad gets Gabi punch and makes a good impression. Conversely, Grant was planning to set up a prank but there were simply too many chaperones there. Prom ends, and Amy-newly pregnant, married, and widowed-adopted a little pup named Cheech. I finished off one of the bathroom combos that was a shower short, with one left still completely empty until further notice, as well as set up Gabi & Grant’s crowns and prom pictures in the traditional spot. Ada (Whitaker) & Dick Grayson have been fooling around, Dick had no pullout game (heh), and as a result, they get married. Gator Wolff tries his luck with older woman Bianca Crumplebottom, as Oswald Cobblepot goes for younger woman Talia al Ghul. Nicolas Dunn dies as Selina Kyle & Victor Fries had Myra Kyle. Horace & Gayle (Burden) Lucas get married, though I can’t imagine that will be relevant as they are both elderly and otherwise unimportant. Lorenzo Whitaker and Rosalinda Grayson (formerly Whitaker) become teens, and little Rod Grayson (again, formerly Whitaker) becomes a child.

Die Prekarität des Alltags ist auch im reichen Deutschland mit seinen stolzen Budgetüberschüssen für viele Menschen längst gelebte Realität: Der Wohnraum ist kaum mehr finanzierbar und die Lohnarbeit so schlecht bezahlt, dass ein Job nicht mehr reicht, um über die Runden zu kommen. Für alle jene, die bereits am Arbeitsmarkt aussortiert wurden, warten die Demütigungen des Jobcenters oder des Sozialamts in Zeiten von Hartz IV. Angesichts dieser sozialen Verwerfungen besteht seit Jahren Verwunderung, warum es in Zeiten kontinuierlich ansteigender sozialer Ungleichheit und demokratiebedrohender Reichtumsverteilung emanzipatorischer linker Politik nicht gelingt, an politischer Relevanz zu gewinnen, sondern ganz im Gegenteil, die extreme Rechte mit ihrem autoritären Führerpopulismus weltweit punktet. Die Gesellschaft schafft sich ab, indem sie selbst nicht mehr an die Idee von Gesellschaft glaubt. Begriffe wie Solidarität verkommen zur hohlen Phrase einer radikalen Linken, die irgendwo zwischen autonomem Schrebergarten und angestaubten Slogans mäandert. »Was tun?« bleibt die Frage aller Fragen.        Hier setzt der Sammelband Umkämpftes Wohnen. Neue Solidarität in den Städten der Herausgeber Peter Nowak und Matthias Coers an. In Interviews und Selbstreflexionen, entstanden in den Jahren 2015 bis 2019, porträtieren sie Suchbewegungen radikaler und autonomer linker Organisierungen im Stadtteil und wollen damit einen Beitrag zur Organisierungsdebatte innerhalb der Linken leisten. Entlang der Forderung »Solidarität muss praktisch werden« versuchen die im Buch versammelten AkteurInnen aus Deutschland, Polen, Griechenland und Spanien, Kämpfe um Wohnraum mit anderen Feldern des prekären Alltags zu verknüpfen. Schließlich steckt, wer seine Miete nicht mehr bezahlen kann, meist auch in prekären Arbeits- und Lebenssituationen mit Löhnen oder staatlichen Transferleistungen, die weit davon entfernt sind, die Lebenskosten zu decken. Der Stadtteil bildet den lokalen Anknüpfungspunkt an den Alltag, schafft Schnittmengen gemeinsamer Erfahrungswelten und ermöglicht den langfristigen Aufbau von Beziehungen und die Schaffung solidarischer Netzwerke.        Das schließt an die Praxis des in den USA weit verbreiteten Transformative Community Organizing ebenso an wie an die Erfahrungen des sich weltweit ausbreitenden Neuen Munizipalismus, der Wege aufzeigt, wie institutionelle politische Macht in den Städten erobert und für emanzipatorische Ziele genutzt werden kann. Interessante Einblicke zum Aufbau der notwendigen Strukturen geben zwei Interviews aus Spanien: Carlos Macias, Sprecher der PAH Katalonien, nennt die Strategie der »kollektiven Beratung« das »Herz der PAH«. Unter dem Eindruck von 600.000 Zwangsräumungen als Folge der Wirtschaftskrise bei gleichzeitig 3,5 Millionen leerstehenden Wohnungen, organisierte die Plataforma de Afectados por la Hipoteca (Plattform der von Hypotheken Betroffenen) mittels kollektiver Hilfe-zur-Selbsthilfe-Treffen solidarischen Widerstand gegen Zwangsräumungen und direkte Aktionen in Bankfilialen, bei Politik und Verwaltung. Parallel entwickelte die PAH in verschiedenen selbstorganisierten Arbeitsgruppen politische Forderungen und Gesetzesvorlagen, Strategien für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Kampagnen. Insgesamt geht es bei der PAH »sowohl um individuelle Lösungen für Betroffene als auch kollektive politische Lösungen«. Wie die Arbeit der PAH und anderer zivilgesellschaftlicher AkteurInnen innerhalb der Institutionen weitergetragen werden kann, erläutert Josep Maria Manta- ner. Der Senator für Wohnen in Barcelona, also jener Stadt, in der Ada Colau in ihrer bereits zweiten Amtsperiode als Bürgermeisterin der linken Wahl-Plattform Barcelona en Comú neue emanzipatorische Wege des Regierens beschreitet, bezeichnet das Ziel der linken Plattform »einen Umverteilungs-Urbanismus zu schaffen, der die Stadt ausbalanciert«.        An diesen zwei Positionen wird auch eine kleine Schwäche der Publikation deutlich. Der Zeitraum der Gespräche erstreckt sich über fünf Jahre und eine Aktualisierung durch Anmerkungen der Herausgeber wäre gerade bei den älteren Texten wünschenswert gewesen. Auch eine den Interviews und Selbstbeschreibungen beigefügte Infobox würde dabei helfen, das geteilte Wissen besser einordnen zu können. So bleibt nur eine URL am Ende jedes Textes, um Näheres zu den Personen oder Initiativen zu erfahren.        Eine Stärke der Publikation sind jedoch die mit großer Offenheit geführten Interviews und Selbstbeschreibungen, die Erfahrungen teilen, Fragen aufwerfen, Probleme in der politischen Arbeit klar benennen und nichts zu beschönigen versuchen, etwa wenn die Berliner Stadtteilinitiative Hände weg vom Wedding bisherige linke Organisierungsbestrebungen analysiert: »Inhalte und Diskussionsformen unserer Organisationsform, wie beispielsweise akademisierte Sprache, ausufernde Plenarsitzungen und eine Überbetonung der eigenen, individuellen Meinung stellen weitere Hemmnisse dar. Die Anschlussfähigkeit für Menschen, die nicht Anfang bis Ende 20 und ungebunden sind, im besten Fall aufgrund eines Studiums Zeit haben, sind schlichtweg nicht gegeben.« Gleichzeitig offenbaren die verschiedenen Ansätze den weit vernetzten Erfahrungs- und Wissensaustausch. So haben sich etwa Hände weg vom Wedding beim Aufbau ihres Kiezhauses Agnes Reinhold explizit vom kurdischen Rojava und seinen Strategien inspirieren lassen. Zahlreiche der porträtierten Stadtteil-Initiativen aus Deutschland, Polen, Griechenland, Spanien oder den USA berichten über ihren kontinuierlichen Erfahrungsaustausch im Aufbau von solidarischen Netzwerken, untereinander und international. Insgesamt zeigt die Gesamtschau der versammelten Momentaufnahmen, dass sich die Wohnungsfrage längst mit anderen Themen verknüpft. Der Fokus der Organisierungen wandert dabei von temporären Großevents in Richtung Aufbau von langfristigen solidarischen Strukturen mit gesellschaftlicher Breite. Gut so, wir werden sie brauchen.

Seorang pengantin baru di China meninggal dunia di malam pertama pernikahannya, dilaporkan China Press, Senin (24). Menurut laporan itu, setelah resepsi pernikahan, pasangan asal Hunan itu tak sabar melakukan hubungan intim di malam pertama. Mereka langsung menuju kamar pengantin. Kemudian, pengantin laki-laki mencupang leher wanita tersebut. Seketika wanita tersebut menjadi pucat, tubuhnya lemas, detak jantung melemah, hingga akhirnya meninggal dunia. Kabarnya, si pria mencupang leher pasangannya itu dengan brutal. Cupangan di leher itu kemudian membuat detak jantungnya berhenti dan kesulitan bernafas. Setelah kejadian itu, mempelai pria ini segera mengirim pasangannya ke Rumah Sakit Chengdu, untuk mendapat perawatan. Menurut dokter, pria tersebut menekan kunci sinus karotid di leher pengantin saat bercupangan. Tekanannya terlalu tinggi, mengakibatkan jantung pengantin wanita tertekan, dan reaksinya menyebabkan serangan jantung mendadak. Adapun Liu Jiangxiong, direktur Departemen Kedokteran Kardiovaskular di rumah sakit menunjukkan bahwa dua reseptor utama yang mengatur tekanan darah dan detak jantung terletak di sinus dan ginjal karotis. Adapun Sinus karotis ada di kedua sisi leher, sekitar 5 hingga 6 cm dari laring. “Ini berukuran sebesar kacang kedelai, jika seseorang memutar kepalanya ke kiri atau ke kanan, bagian yang paling jelas terlihat adalah di bagian leher tengah dan sepertiga bawah otot leher,” katanya. “Bagian ini setara dengan baroreseptor seseorang. Setelah itu dirangsang oleh kekuatan eksternal, itu akan membuat orang pingsan dan bisa menyebabkan serangan jantung hingga kematian,” katanya. Liu Jianxiong mengatakan jika tempat itu ditekan atau diletakkan dasi terlalu ketat, mungkin akan menekan sinus karotis, juga bisa menyebabkan pingsan, serangan jantung hingga kematian. Dalam kasus ini, orang meninggal adalah karena lehernya dicupang memang jarang namun untuk menghindari kemungkinan terburuk, orang-orang perlu memahami hal itu. Meski jarang, ini bukan yang pertama terjadi. Menurut laporan New Zealand Medical Journal, pada 2016 lalu, para dokter menuturkan seorang perempuan 44 tahun mendatangi bagian gawat darurat di Middlemore Hospital di Auckland. Ia kehilangan gerak pada lengan kirinya sewaktu menonton televisi. Para dokter menyimpulkan perempuan itu menderita stroke ringan. Namun, para dokter tak bisa menemukan penyebabnya hingga mereka menemukan memar vertikal kecil di tengkuk perempuan tersebut di dekat urat nadi besar. Ternyata, itu adalah “gigitan cinta” atau “hickey” atau "cupang" yang ia “terima” beberapa hari sebelumnya. “Karena itu adalah `gigitan cinta`, tentu ada banyak penyedotan,” kata salah seorang dokter yang merawat pasien, Teddy Wu, kepada Christchurch Press, seperti dikutip AFP. “Akibat trauma fisik yang ditimbulkannya, terjadi sedikit memar di bagian dalam pembuluh darah tersebut. Ada pembekuan darah di urat nadi di bawah tempat `hickey` dilakukan.” Bahaya Cupang di Leher Wu mengatakan gumpalan darah itu terlepas dan bergerak ke jantung perempuan tersebut, tempat darah beku itu mengakibatkan stroke ringan yang membuat dia kehilangan daya gerak lengannya. "Kami mencari catatan medis dan contoh mengenai akibat `gigitan cinta` yang mengakibatkan sesuatu seperti itu tapi tak pernah digambarkan sebelumnya,” katanya. Petugas medis mengatakan perempuan tersebut sudah sembuh setelah dirawat dengan menggunakan obat anti pembekuan darah. Kejang dan Meninggal Dikutip dari Independent, seorang remaja bernama Julio Macias Gonzalez (17) mengalami kejang-kejang saat makan malam bersama keluarganya di Mexico City. Ini adalah kasus kedua yang dilaporkan mengenai gigitan cinta yang menyebabkan stroke. Tahun 2011, seorang wanita 44 tahun dari Selandia Baru mengalami kaku di bagian kiri dan dibawa ke rumah sakit.
