Cg Dazai/Little Chuuya

It had started off as an okay day, but of course, Chuuya's luck was not on his side, as the day quickly got worse.

Dazai had just arrived back at the house he lived in with Chuuya, only to not see Chuuya anywhere, even though he knew that Chuuya had no missions assigned to him from the Port Mafia that day.

"Chuuya?" Dazai called, and when he got no response, he moved further into the house, hoping to find Chuuya, and he eventually did when he heard crying coming from behind the closed bathroom door.

Dazai knocked on the door, and the crying only got louder. "I'm coming in." Dazai told Chuuya, who was on the other side of the door, not wanting to stress Chuuya out even more as he carefully opened the door.

When the door was fully opened, he saw Chuuya sobbing on the floor, back pressed against the wall furthest away from the door with his knees pulled up to his chest, face in his knees as he tugged on his hair. Dazai could tell he was currently regressed and in the middle of a meltdown, so he knew he had to handle this situation with care.

"Hey, Chuuya? Can you hear me?" Dazai started, having closed the bathroom door again and now sitting against it. He had decided to sit against the door as that was the furthest place away from Chuuya so Chuuya could have his space, but so that Dazai could still be in the room with him.

"Chuu?" Dazai tried again, and this time, Chuuya looked up at him, tears streaming down his face as he let out another sob. "Come here." Dazai invited as he opened his arms for Chuuya, who crawled towards Dazai, hugging him as Dazai hugged back, and Chuuya now cried whilst being held by Dazai.

Dazai traced circles against Chuuya's back as he also rocked Chuuya gently to calm him down. "It's ok, it's ok, I won't let anything happen to you." Dazai reasured Chuuya.

Chuuya continued to cry in Dazai's arms, but he was slowly starting to calm down. Once he was no longer crying and there were only sniffles coming from him, Dazai picked Chuuya up, carrying him to the bedroom and placing him on the bed before moving to the cupboard and getting some clothes out that Chuuya mostly wore when he was little.

"Can you get dressed yourself?" Dazai asked Chuuya, and he nodded, taking the clothes and quickly changing into them. When he was finished, he tugged on Dazai's shirt. Dazai turned around to face him, and Chuuya made grabby hands towards Dazai.

Dazai picked Chuuya up before sitting on the bed and placing Chuuya on his lap. Chuuya just rested against Dazai's chest as he cuddled against him. Is was draining crying so much.

Eventually, they both lay down under the blankets, cuddled up against each other. Chuuya now also had his pacifier, and he sucked on it as he drifted off to sleep. Dazai placed a kiss on Chuuya's forehead before falling asleep shortly after.

Fuyu

Fuyu takes good care of me. He's a bit strict, but I know it's because he cares. He always makes sure I drink water, eat, and brush my hair. He even does my hair up sometimes if he can get me to sit still. He let's me snuggle in his tails when I'm cold, and he draws with me too.

Captain Yami

He's big fun! I think it's funny when he teases me! He definitely scared me at first, but he's learned to be a bit more gentle. Not to say I don't enjoy running away from him when I "accidentally" annoy him a bit. It's all in good fun. He thinks it's funny when I'm sassy to rude people. And he laughs when I make up funny words or show him ugly plushies that I like! He's so much fun to be wif!

Tfp Optimus Prime

It took me a minute to understand him, given he doesn't show emotions, but I think we have a good understanding now. He always appreciates my drawings, and he makes sure I'm okay. He shows affection in his own way, and that's okay.

Gajeel

Another big fun guy! He's like a fun uncle to me! We like sharing our music tastes, and he lets me be adventurous! He also lets me be sassy to rude meany people. And he protects me from scary people. Ofc he does make sure I'm okay and that I'm taken care of. He is always there for me when I feel overstimulated. And doesn't mind watching little kid shows wif me.

Chuuya

Chuuya is nice because he lets me vent to him. He lets me play with his hair and put cute clips in his hair. And he wears the bracelets I make him. He loves Bluey just like me! We color together all the time, and he makes sure my bottle is filled. He buys my cute clothes and snacks! He very nice ❤️

Hisoka

Okay, I know this one is a bit sus, and I'm not sure how to justify this one Imma be honest. But he's pretty SFW around me (probably because I'm weak and he's into power). I like going shopping wif him! He pays for my crippling stuffie addiction lol. He thinks my gremlin behavior is funny, and he lets me bite his arm. He just laughs. Ofc I don't bite too hard. He also play pretend wif me! My fav game to play wif him is Cats Vs. Dogs! And we have teaparties and bake togefer! He's lotsa fun!

Goemon

Basically, me bodyguard. He refuses to let me out of his sight. Doesn't mean I won't try heehee. He's definitely a bit more awkward with my regression, but that's okay. I think it's funny. He always makes sure I eat, sleep, and drink water. I think he secretly likes Bluey, though he'll never admit it lol. He takes board games very seriously. It's funny to watch. He's a good guy and is always trying his best.

This is a previously written fic! Right now I'm promoting my old fics just to let y'all know they exist.

🪭- A little Dazai fic! This is my first bsd agere fic I put out there, and I am pretty proud of it 🥺

🍄- This fic is inspired by the lovely Playrough's agency little fic! In which Dazai has a nap time set up for him by the agency since he tends to get cranky and fussy without sleep, but a meeting ends up making him miss it for the day. What Dazai didn't expect is how used to the naps his body had gotten.

🥀- Dazai is really small in all of my upcoming fics and this one, not even one year when he's regressed. Kunikida and Chuuya are co-caregivers to Dazai and it is mentioned how Dazai doesn't particularly like the concept of being little. This fic is pure fluff, a tiny bit of stress comes from the baby but not enough to be considered angst. It's a nice story to fall asleep to :)

Ever since Kunikida and the Agency have found out about Dazai's regression, they've been pushing nap times. Something about him getting "Cranky, tired, and less productive" after a certain time in the day

Dazai kicked his legs under the table, trying to stay focused. There had been an important joint Mafia and Agency meeting today, which just so happened to fall at an inconvenient time.

...Stupid, he knows. Besides, Dazai is never productive so what difference would it make?!

These naps normally happen late at lunch. It's not like he could just slip out of the Agency to go home early, either! To ensure he got this nap in every day the Agency and the stupid slug, decided to pair up for this.

If he tried to escape and head home, Chuuya's stupid camera door sensor would catch it. Of course that was set up for him...the slug can't mind his business! He didn't even do anything before it was set up, the executive just assumed he would try! Rude...

And so, the little one had to accept that he would be caught either way. It was either walking around in the stuffy outdoors for the rest of the day every single day or taking a nap. His pride said the first option, but it's obvious what the best choice was.

'But Dazai, you're a genius! Why didn't you just deactivate the system or use another entrance?' Well, it's pretty hard to think clearly enough to sneakily turn off a system when you're admittedly very fuzzy and droopy.

From working so hard of course. Nothing else, totally.

He doesn't need an assigned nap! Not to mention, a person to watch over him. He knows when he needs to take a break... Totally. This is why in the first place he didn't want the agency to figure it out, but that all went down the drain...

Have they been nothing but accepting of him? Yes, that's the issue! They shouldn't be condoning this behavior, let alone enforcing it! Dazai doesn't deserve to act like a literal baby, "A healthy coping mechanism" be damned. He doesn't need one of those either.

Protesting that mindset to them only made it worse, however. That doesn't mean he wouldn't still attempt to be bratty and refuse, but it gets hard when all you feel is comfort and security in a Member's (or Chu's) arms.

How these naps played out was always the same. He would get fed a bottle of warm milk about 30 minutes before his nap, fed because he got the privilege of being able to feed himself taken away...

He only dropped it on his head like, once! It doesn't matter if it caused him to start crying, he can still do it like anyone else can feed themselves! He shouldn't have started crying anyway, it was a tiny little bump. God, why did little him have to be so sensitive?

When it was time for the nap, there were two main locations. With anyone besides Kunikida, Chuuya, Yosano, or Fukuzawa he was to be laid down on the couch smothered in blankets.

But when Kunikida had a chance, he would always volunteer to watch him first. It's like he has some attachment, the idealistic man always looks anxious when he's away from the embarrassing baby side.

With Kunikida, he was either laid on a tiny futon that was unrolled from the closet next to Kunikida's desk but rarely. Most of the time he's on someone's lap being rocked to sleep since motion puts him out like a light.

Others that were offered were Atsushi, Ranpo, Naomi, Junichiro, and with supervision of another adult, Kenji. However, with Ranpo and Atsushi, it gets... Complicated.

Atsushi and Ranpo are also little, but they are at least big kids! Most of the time, at least. They don't need naps or bottles, but they are also set off easily in the presence of another little.

That was learned the hard way when Kunikida ended up with 3 giggly and squeamish littles after coming back from break. From that day on all three of them couldn't be alone caring together, unless there was time for some sort of play date after nap time.

Dazai would rather live than have to regress more times than needed, so he's never had a play date with the two, though he's heard they do it decently often.

And of course, there was Chuuya. Sometimes, when he was free during lunch break he would come to pick Dazai up for his nap. Normally he'd get taken home, but occasionally he was taken to Chu's office where he got to sit on the rolly chairs!

However he always preferred going home because of the risk of someone walking into him, the genius Dazai Osamu...giggling as Chuuya Nakahara bounces him on his lap or gently spins the rolling chair around. Yea no.

Originally the nap thing was set to every other day, or just not required every day. Dazai ruined that for himself though very easily. Once he had gotten used to the napping, apparently his body went 'oo! Time for sleep!!!? ;?! ' around the scheduled time automatically now.

He ended up struggling to stay awake as he did work with Kunikida one day and got nothing done, per usual. Dazai eventually drifted off on his shoulder from the exhaust, not very grown-ass 22-year-old of him.

But back to the current situation, it's the dreaded nap time. Well, way past nap time. Currently, there is a meeting going on between the Agency and the port mafia, that's all fine. The fine part was that the meeting had gone at least an hour off schedule.

It was planned so as not to bump into the time he gets put down, but stupid Mori couldn't agree on the originally proposed terms, so now they've been stuck!

Another thing is that Dazai hadn't quite realized how his body had gotten used to the nap times. Now that's come to bite him in the ass because he can't stop rubbing his eyes and yawning.

Getting ready for bed

Chuuya was a busy man, as an executive of the port mafia. But after meeting you, he always made time for his baby.

You, being the brave kiddo you are, managed to spend a lot of days at play dates or having fun on your own, but your papa would always be back for dinner time!

“Open up little one, say aah” he smiles softly at you while waiting patiently. He knew you struggled with food, so he always took his time and made sure you were okay. Even when you couldn’t manage to finish your meal, he would scoop you up into a hug, and whisper in your ear, “I’m so proud of you sweetie. You did so well! Papa is so proud of you for trying!”

Chuuya always trains in the mornings, which was perfect, because it means he’s always strong enough to carry you around! Picking you up from your seat at the table, and carrying you over to the couch.

“There we go, kiddo. We can watch a cartoon before bed, how’s that sound?” His smile is always gentle, and his voice is lowered while you start to get sleepy. He turns on your favourite cartoon and lets you snuggle up to him while you watch the episode.

“Okay little one, it’s bedtime now.” He says as the end credits roll. You whine a little, it’s too early and you’re a big kid! You can stay up later than this! But your little yawn tells Chuuya that it’s bedtime, and he picks you up gently and carries you to the bathroom.

He wipes your face gently using a warm flannel, and asks if you feel okay to brush your teeth tonight. When you aren’t sure, he coaxes you with some words of encouragement, “can you be super duper brave for me, baby? I’ll make it super quick.” In the end, you manage to let him brush your teeth for a few seconds before you can’t take any more, and he wipes your mouth clean whispering to you, “good kid, well done, you did so well! I’m so proud of you, little one, so proud”.

He picks you up and smooths your hair while he carries you to your bedroom. “Can you pick out your pajamas, little one?” He puts you down and points to your dresser. You pick out your favourite set and hand it to him.

“Good choice! Let’s get you changed, huh? All cosy for bed.” His warm smile is there again and you don’t fuss (much) as he helps you change out of your day clothes and into your comfy pajamas. “Look at you! You look so comfy!” He says to you, guiding you to your bed. He moves the sheets back and lets you crawl in, before covering you back up and tucking you in.

“All cosy?” He asks, but you whine. He notices immediately what’s wrong. Your stuffie is still sat on the blanket from your picnic earlier! He takes extra care picking it up and bringing it to you, tucking it in right next to you. “Do you want a paci, baby?” He asks. When you nod your head, he pulls one out from the drawer by your bed, slipping it into your mouth. He ca see that your eyelids are heavy, and he leans down and kisses you on the forehead.

“Papa’s gonna stay here until you’re asleep, okay baby?” His voice is low and comforting, as he turns the main light off and your nightlight on. Sat on the edge of your bed, he hums a lullaby to you while you drift off to sleep.

Bsd characters that I think canonically age regress

Whether or not it's done on purpose, there's a few bsd characters that have scenes that could fit with them being age regressors!

1) Ranpo

The most obvious age regressor. He's the oldest ADA member (after Fukuzawa) but still indulges in childish things and has tantrums sometimes.

And even when he was 14 he started regressing when he finally had a guardian, like asking Fukuzawa to pick him up and expecting treats from him.

Even at 14, Fukuzawa took care of Ranpo more like he was a young child.

2) Chuuya

I'll never be convinced that Chuuya doesn't age regress and this Wan chapter plays a big part in that. I know wan isn't technically canon but I find it more fun to see it as semi- canon at least.

- Loses an important (/comfort) item

- spaces out and asks for his mother

- cries and has a temper tantrum on the floor

3) Lucy

Fitzgerald is of course a girldad and let's Lucy indulge like the little princess she is.

She's allowed to bring as many dolls and plush toys as she wants!

She names all her dolls and even brings the adults into her game by giving them doll names.

Also there's the older Guild members parenting Lucy, with Fitzgerald listening to her ramble about her ideas and the other man having to be the strict parent and tell her to tidy up her toys.

Honestly I can see most of the bsd cast being age regressors! But these three stand out to me because they have actual scenes that could show them as age regressors.

Cg Kouyou/Little Chuuya

Kouyou had invited Chuuya to have tea with her, which was not uncommon at all. However, Chuuya had been feeling small the whole day, and he knew that the minute Kouyou saw him, she would pick up on it. But he also that if he denied, she would also know that something was up, so he accepted her invitation.

They were sitting around Kouyou's table, steaming mugs of tea sitting in front of them. Kouyou took a sip of hers before speaking. "Is there anything bothering you, Chuuya?" She asked the person sitting across from her. He glanced up at her from where he had been fiddling with his hands before answering.

"No, I'm fine." Chuuya said a bit too quietly to support his answer. He reached out to pick up his mug but flinched and pulled back his hands as when they made contact with the mug, it burned him. Tears started to prick at his eyes as he just stared at his burned finger tips, and as they started to turn slightly red, Chuuya let out a sob.

Kouyou quickly got up, making her way over to Chuuya and gently leads him over to the sink where she switches the tap on and leads Chuuya's hands under the cold stream of water, letting it cool the burns. Chuuya pulled his hands away from the water once the burns had been soothed, and he wiped away the now drying tears with his sleeve.

"Chuuya, are you okay?" Kouyou asked. Chuuya nodded in response. "Maybe the tea is a bit hot for you." Kouyou said, more to herself than to Chuuya. She walked over to some cabinets before opening one and pulling out a jug of ice tea. "Chuuya?" Kouyou called, gaining Chuuya's attention, and she showed him a few different cup options.

"Do you want the plastic cup, sippy cup, or bottle?" She asked him, knowing that at this point he was fully regressed, but she didn't know what age he had regressed to. He pointed at the sippy cup, and Kouyou nodded, filling it up with the ice tea before handing it to Chuuya. He took it, thanking her, and they both went back to the table and continued their what has now turned into a tea party.

HOW I THINK THE BSD SHIPS ARE AS AGE REGRESSORS

Fyolai

Fyodor regresses to 2-5. He is shy, quiet, and clingy. He enjoys nap time and "cooking" (he thinks he is bigger than he is). He calls Nikolai 'jester' as a title. Sometimes "Mr." And "Sir"

Nikolai regresses to 10-12. He is yappy, over dramatic, and needs activities and attention. He enjoys putting on puppet shows and making crafts with Fyo. He calls Fyo "Sir"

Dazai/Chuuya

Dazai regresses to 4-8. He is whiny and throws a lot of tantrums. He enjoys breaking stuff and playing with toys that aren't his. He calls Chuuya his big brother or just whines

Chuuya regresses to 12-15. He is mean and likes to shop at the mall and play video games. He wont use any title for Dazai out of spite.

RanPoe -

Ranpo regresses to 2-3. He is a babbly clingy toddler who likes doodling and clinging to Poe's leg. He also loves little sweets. He refers to Poe as his name, Sir, or Mr. Poe

Poe regresses to 8-10. He enjoys writing (ofc) and watching movies and playing board games. He is also INCREDIBLY clingy. He is constantly tugging on his clothes trying to get kisses. He calls Ranpo "Detective or Mr. Detective"

Teccho/Jouno

Teccho regresses to a dog, probably some sort of shepher or doberman. He is always at Jouno's feet. Jouno is soft with him and gives him treats, pets, and trains him. They go out and he has a collar on (but it's a subtle chain) and basically acts as a guard/guide dog for Jouno.

Jouno regresses to a kitten. A cuddly princess kitten. That is all

Little Aku loves sitting on the floor, it makes him feel so *small* considering how tall he is, sitting on the floor with his legs in front favorite of him as he plays! ~

Chuuya loves bouncing Aku on his hip, and aku loves it just as much! ~

During changes, sometimes he'll kick chuuya which prompts the other to call him a little shit. /aff

More system chuuya headcanons:

Some of his alters are non verbal, or only talk under specific circumstances. Some of them are pretty much always yelling. There's a very big amount of variation in the level of communication with the outside world. The only people who know chuuya has DID are Dazai and Kouyou. There are a few littles and middles. Dazai tries to make their life easier, he writes things down for chuuya and reminds him of stuff when he can.

System Chuuya headcanons my beloved!

Pre Dazai knowing that he's a system he would get very scared and worried when Chuuya's alters wouldn't talk to him, eventually Kouyou had to talk to him and gave him the idea to allow Chuuya to write instead of talking.

Also YEAH Chuuya to me is very private about his system, I think the only other people that know (outside of those two) are Ranpo (He knows everything) and probably Mori (uses the memory against Chuuya sometimes). Fyodor is a maybe, but I think he's only know in an AU where they actually spend time together.

I actually have a few thoughts on the idea of Chuuya having syskids in the system, namely that he physically has no memories before the age of 7, so he probably has syskids that don't act like kids and he struggles with the idea of childhood and what that means Chuuya age regressor agenda.
