Tumblr media
Chishiya was packing up his things, having changed clothes and almost completely ready to leave the hospital for the day, when he heard his phone buzzing.
'Doctor, I need you.'
It was a text from you, of course. He couldn't help but smile to himself thinking you must be in a really playful mood if you were referring to him as doctor. Your next message, a few seconds later, seemed to confirm that.
'Please, please, please. Come to my place to see me today.'
He raised an eyebrow. Begging out of nowhere was not like you. But you hadn't seen each other in a few days ― both of you had been very busy with work, and he had to admit he really missed you. You were supposed to meet on Saturday, three days from then, but he found himself walking towards your house, his body, his feelings for you, making the decision before his head could. He was excited.
He finally made it to your place. He raised a fist, and had just knocked on your door when he heard muffled coughing behind it, getting closer. Were you okay? He was not one to get easily agitated, but that didn't sound quite right.
You opened, and he could tell immediately what was wrong. You were sick.
Chishiya had always thought you were the most beautiful woman he had laid eyes upon: big, knowing eyes, that changed color depending on the lighting; shiny hair that always smelled like home, that he loved playing with distractedly when you would sit down to watch a movie, soft lips he would get lost in whenever he could.
And he still thought so, even know. But there was no denying; your pretty eyes were surrounded by dark, grayish circles. Your nose was red, irritated and runny. Your hair in a messy bun. You were holding a cardboard box full of paper tissues against you, and were still in your pajamas.
'Surprise!' Your tired smile told Chishiya you hadn't been able to get much sleep.
'Are you sick?' He asked, getting close to you and placing his lips on your forehead, both to kiss it and to measure your temperature. Yes, you were burning. You had a fever.
'Nah, I don't think so.' You snorted a laugh, stopping for a second to cover your mouth with your hand and cough. 'Aren't you supposed to be the smart one in the relationship?'
He chuckled at that. You were sick, yes, but having a cold didn't make you any less witty. If that was only a cold, which was what he wanted to check next. He couldn't help but feel slightly worried. He went inside your apartment, left his bag on the back of a chair and hanged his coat.
He turned to face you then.
'What are your symptoms?'
'No, no, no. I wanted you here as a boyfriend, not as a physician.'
'You did call me doctor in your message.'
You thought about it for a second, throwing yourself on your couch and rubbing your chin distractedly with two fingers, lips parted. You couldn't really breathe through your nose that well.
'I guess I did. Very well. My throat started hurting yesterday. It was like… tingly?'
'Okay.'
'Then in the night time I had a little bit of a fever, you know? Not much. I went to bed thinking I would be okay by the time I woke up.'
'And?'
'I woke up at four in the morning and I was so cold, and shivering. I have been taking this.' You looked around you until you found what you were looking for and gave it to him: a box of over-the-counter tablets.
He took it, opened the package and got out the prescribing information. He checked the ingredients and nodded. 'Pretty generic, but it will do the job.'
'I thought so. It was the only thing I had around. Kuina brought them last week after she made me go to that party and I had a hangover.'
'When did you take the medicine last?'
'About forty minutes ago.'
'Have you eaten? Can you hold food just fine?'
'I have eaten, but I'm not really hungry. And I haven't thrown up or anything.'
'Stomach issues?'
'Maybe a little bit, but I don't want to talk to you about them!'
You had another coughing fit, raising your voice after that last sentence. He sat by your side, wondering if his examination had gone a little bit too far. You looked like you thought it did, because there was a slight wrinkle between your eyebrows, and the corners of your mouth were facing downwards.
'Please, just be a normal boyfriend.'
'I'm sorry. I got carried away.'
'Occupational hazards, I guess.'
You were smiling again, which made him smile in return. He liked that about you ― you wouldn't hold grudges. Whenever someone honestly said sorry, whether it was him, a friend of yours, a family member… You would always forgive them. He lifted his hand so that it would rest on your jawline, caressing your cheek with his thumb, softly.
You were still farm too warm for his liking, but the medicine should start working soon.
'And what does a normal boyfriend do in cases like this?'
You didn't answer immediately. You stared at him through half lidded eyes, sticking your tongue out, something you did when you were concentrating and that according to you, you had inherited from you father. Chishiya knew he had given you free rein to ask whatever you wanted from him, but to be honest, he would have done whatever it was to please you, especially after seeing you in such a state, so he didn't particularly mind.
'I want to watch a movie. One of those shitty movies I like that you say lower my IQ. What can I say, I am a simple woman with simple pleasures.'
Chishiya chuckled. He thought of you as many things: smart, caring, sweet, adorable, beautiful in ever sense of the word, both inside and outside, brave, strong, charming, bewitching, endearing… But never simple. That was not it.
'Wish granted.'
He took the remote control and turned on the TV, giving it then to you so that you would choose what it was you wanted to watch. He also grabbed a blanket, wrapping you with it, enjoying how the second after he was done you cuddled against him, making him lift the arm that was closest to you so that he would put it around you. As if moved by invisible strings, his fingers started to travel their way up and down your back.
You finally chose something. Some American romantic comedy with bad actors, far too many plot-holes, and badly-timed jokes. But Chishiya loved it. How couldn't he, if it made you laugh?
About thirty minutes in, you had fallen asleep, your face on the crook of his neck. You were breathing noisily, possibly from the nasal congestion, but at least you were resting and, Chishiya checked by placing the back of his free hand on your forehead, the other one still holding you against him, your body was a much more normal temperature.
He would let you sleep, as much as you wanted. Then, he would make you dinner, because you had to eat something. Lastly, so that you wouldn't feel bad about not being able to watch the movie with him, he would put it again, remembering where it was that you dozed off.
He would take care of you. Not as a doctor, although he wasn't sure he could help himself.
But as your boyfriend.

• Genre: angst, fluff
• Warnings: violence, reader losing her mind, Niragi is kinda ooc
Angst Prompts - #5
꧁ ✾✿❀ ꧂ ✾✿❀ ꧁ ✾✿❀ ꧂
When Niragi and I got stuck in Borderland I quickly knew that a lot of things will change. Because if they didn’t, we’d die. No hard feelings, no remorse, no empathy. If you want to survive you need to be okay with killing the others. It was hard at first but after a while I kind of got used to it, because I wanted to live.
Niragi on the other hand didn’t just got used to it - he straight up enjoyed it. He enjoyed being in charge of other people, scaring other people and killing them. I could see all the anger he has hidden inside broke out of him when he realized there will be no consequences for his actions. He would make the others feel the pain he had to suffer, not caring that it wasn’t their fault that he got bullied by those scumbags.
For the first time in his life he was the one in charge. He was the one they feared and no one dared to even look at him in a wrong way. I was okay with it at first because it meant that no one dared to look at me in a wrong way too. As Niragis girlfriend I had the privilege of safety around The Beach so I tried to ignore his actions as best as I could and hoped that if we manage to go home again, he would be the same again.
But the more time passed, the more violent he got and with every game we played he seemed to lose a little bit more of his sanity. It was heartbreaking to see what the guys back in school did to his mental health.
The guy, once so gentle with me, was now a total freak. Yes back in the real world he was a freak too. A freak in the sheets and hella snappy but now he is this kind of freak you see in a true crime documentary.
The day when Aguni became the leader was the first and only time I addressed his behavior.
„You heard that Aguni got promoted?“, he asks without a hello when he bursted in the room, closing the door loudly behind him. „That means I am the new number 2.“
Even when his hands snuck to my hip I continued to stare out the window, not reacting to him. „Don’t you think we need to celebrate this?“ His hot tongue touched the shell of my ear and right after his teeth started to knibble on said skin. I just brushed him off, moving away. „What’s wrong babe?“
„How many people were it today?“ I asked after I turned around and pointed with my chin to his gun. Niragi cocked his head to the side and looked at me confused. „How many did you threaten with this thing? Or hurt? Killed?“
His gaze got softer and he placed the gun against the wall. „Are you scared of me?“ Slowly he put his hands in the air, like I was a cop. „No!“, I answer quickly, but started to re-think it. Sometimes I feel like staying out of his way, when he is like that. „Sometimes. A little bit.“
I can see in his eyes that this has hit him. He looked hurt, almost devastated. „Why?“, he asked, lost on words.
With a quiet sigh I sat down on the bed and thought about the right words. „You‘ve killed and hurt so many people“, I start, my voice barely louder than a whisper. „You get your way, no matter what. If the card theory is true and only one can leave…“ Quickly I turn my head to blink the tears away that started to burn in my eyes. I have forbidden myself to think about this scenario and even now I just can’t seem to put my worries in words. „What will happen with us?“
When I looked back up Niragi is kneeling in front of me with a shattered expression on his face. „I will kill myself before I let you behind.“
He seemed conflicted, not knowing if he could touch me. He chose not to and so he stayed in front of me with his hands on his knees.
„I just don’t know what to think anymore“, I admit. „I still love you, and sometimes I hate myself for it.“
We‘re both quiet for a couple of minutes, needing time to realize and accept what I just said, then Niragi raised his voice again. „I know I get carried away easily but think of it that way: the more people that are scared of me and the more people I kill, the less will be a threat to us.“ I don’t want to, but I understand his point. It makes sense and the way he said it, it even calmed me a bit down.
„I am in charge“, he continued. „I am the one with the gun, I am the right hand of our new boss and I am the one that will blow away everyone’s brains if you tell me to. We’re in a world without moral codes. Let’s make the best out of it.“
I don’t know what or how but something inside me switched that day. Niragis motives suddenly seemed more reasonable to me. Maybe I am going insane too but I don’t mind as much as I did in the beginning.

[ GOTCHA ]
[ GOTCHA ]:     the sender, noticing the receiver has unknowingly walked into the path of a source of danger, grabs them by the shoulder and hoists them back to safety.
It only seemed to happen to him.
The cold grip of the metallic collar encased his neck yet again, a symbol of his entrapment in a world devoid of humanity. Despite the deceptive gap between his exposed jugular and unyielding steel, Arisu found himself suffocating under the weight of its familiarity. His throat constricted with a sense of dread that only worsened as he picked at the sticky skin laying parallel. Though what haunted him most had nothing to do with his physical condition, nothing to do with the eight of clubs game that raged around him – the yells of human desperation that bounced off unforgiving concrete.
Rather, it was the torment of his own mind.
“Arisu. Thank you.”
It was too much, too soon. A weight that crushed his soul, reverberated within him, etching scars deeper than any physical wound. The crimson stains of the past still marred his skin, serving as a painful reminder of the things left unsaid, the apologies left unspoken. The neverending party of the Beach worked as a remedy to muffle the loud pop of muscle and bone that loved to rattle in Arisu’s head every now and then.
Here, there was no such luck.
In his short lived haze, Arisu’s legs moved with an automatic rhythm, guided by instincts. The boy only faintly registered his own movements – rather heedless to the maze of death traps surrounding him. He only thought to fall back from the rest of the group, letting them clear the first couple of physical feats while he played follow the leader.
In the depths of Arisu's muddled consciousness, the first stirrings of sensation emerged as a firm grasp — fingers pressing into the tender flesh between his collarbone and shoulder – that jolted him back to reality with a brutal force. As his senses reeled from the sudden onslaught, he crashed to the ground, the pain of broken skin mingling with the harsh reality of his surroundings. It was only when a crisp rebuke sliced through the chaos, cleaving a path to his awareness, that he pieced together the careless misstep that had brought him to the precipice of mortality.
Oh. He hadn’t been tracking their movements as accurately as he thought, it seems.
In the aftermath of his lapse, Arisu stood, trembling, his mind reeling from the stark realization of his own fallibility. An innocuous pressure plate – from the last stretch of the previous puzzle – had triggered a deadly cascade of arrows, poised to snuff out his fragile existence in a blink. Only the intervention had spared him from a fate sealed in blood.
With a gasp of air that felt like the first taste of freedom in an eternity, Arisu turned to face his rescuer, his eyes wide with a mixture of gratitude and disbelief. Before him stood a young woman, her countenance softened by an uncommon gentleness that defied the harsh realities of their surroundings. Her words, though lost in the clamor of his own racing heartbeat, carried a weight that stirred his soul from its torpor.
Struggling to find his breath, Arisu managed to utter a stammered expression of gratitude, “I’m… thank you. I’m sorry, I don’t know what… ,” he pauses, averting his eyes. “It won’t happen again.”
When he does meet her gaze once more, Arisu finds the courage to offer a tentative smile, a silent promise of resilience.
“Let’s survive this game.”
/ / . UMMM I’M SORRY I GOT CARRIED AWAY ?? i didn’t mean for this to be so long but i love making arisu suffer :( <3 EEK first meeting though ?!? the plot thickens … this is set not too long after he joins the beach, so the trauma is still kinda fresh !

kyuma and peach
peach — at what point did they understood that their lover was the one?
⤷ with: kyuma
Tumblr media
It was at the first Kyuma saw you making something so utterly embarrassing that it could have killed you by spontaneous combustion. Trust me.
When Kyuma talks about not regretting anything we immediately go to life-death situations (because this is literally the biggest threat on the show), but lets think in a more domestic way. Sometimes all you need to do something you really desire is to not care about every one elses opinion. Sometimes, you just need to understand that you will regret not doing something because you feared others reaction.
Sometimes all you need to do to be happy is to be a little cringe. Fucking god, no one here ever did something so embarrassing but that also made you the happiest in that particular moment. We all are here because we like fanfiction.
And Kyuma being this person that just wants to enjoy life, to be as happy as he can, will get weak when seeing someone he loves and desire acting the same way. Someone who's not ashamed of being happy. Of being themselfs.
So, yes, I think that it would make Kyuma go full hearteyes mode. Be as loud or as quiet as you want, even if it make other people uncomfortable. Be yourself, be honest about your interests, don't feel like you whole life will end just because someone saw in a moment you were being you.
What Kyuma wants more in the world is to not regret anything. And if you live by that same deal, then you are perfect for one another.
if you enjoyed, please reblog! i promise it makes a difference ♡

Calling all the costumes
Tumblr media
A Halloween Party. Takeru was hosting a Halloween party for the Beach! That meant that Hinata would have to go on one of his runs to the city, something he hasn't done in awhile actually. But he would need to find a costume.. and other things. So he set off, and a few hours later, Hinata came back with a couple of bags full. Luckily, in a world where you're mainly focusing on surviving deadly games-- people aren't so focused on taking costumes. So most of the ones he was trying to find were actually there.
So here he was, standing infront of the mirror with a few different costumes laying out on his bed. Hinata had a few different options here.. and then his eyes landed on the other bags that were sitting next to his bed. That held the other costumes..
Hinata's face flushed red as he looked away from them. It was stupid. Why did he even grab those ones? Hinata doubted they would agree to it. But he couldn't resist grabbing.. matching costumes.
"I doubt Aguni is going to dress up, but i wonder what Takeru is going to wear" He murmured quietly, but just shook the thoughts from his head and grabbed the first costume. Hinata walked over to the bathroom and hummed, putting the costume on.
This first one, Hinata put his usual ponytail into pigtails this time, humming to himself as he used a pink makeup pencil to make a heart under his left eye. Then as he started to put the costume on, and mostly grumbled at how hard it was to put the fishnets on. Next, came the white skirt. It wasn't Hinata's usual outfit, but this was a Halloween costume-- so honestly he didn't mind it. Looking at the bathroom mirror, Hinata got slightly distracted as he started twirling around and focusing as the skirt flowed for about.. 5 minutes.
Finally, he managed to focus back onto the costume and put the neckpiece with the pink bow, and then finally the white cuffs and the pink sleeveless vest. And finally, pink heeled boots. Satisfied with the costume, he stepped back out and took a look in the full length mirror. Draculaura, one of his favorite characters from a show he watched when he was younger. Taking a few more twirls, Hinata took a few photos with his Camera. Eyes glancing over to the first bag, which contained a Clawd Wolf and Kieran Valentine costume. He smiled at the thought of his friends matching with him, but once again pushing away the thought. Staring at himself for a moment, and looking at it from a few different angles.. Hinata decided that this costume wasnt the one for tonight. So he grabs the next one laying on the bed and headed back into the bathroom
The next one, Hinata is humming happily. He puts his hair into a bun, only to hide it under a dark brown beanie. Wiping the heart from his cheek, Hinata makes it look like he has dirt on his cheeks and nose. Once he was satisfied with that, Hinata replaced the fishnets and the rest of the costume with a ripped yellow shirt and a blue studded jacket. Putting on black pants and adding about two belts, Hinata put some black and gold boots on-- and stepped out once more.
Like before, he admired himself in the mirror. Ben Florian, from Descendants. Specifically when the prince sneaks onto the isle of the lost. The second bag filled with matching costumes contained a Hades and Harry Hook.
Staring back at himself in the mirror, Hinata took a few photos. But as he bounced back onto his heels and stared at the few photos he had taken, he decided against this outfit as well. He liked it, but honestly he didn't think it was for him. This costume was more for the matching ones he had.. Which made him smile for a moment before one again heading into the bathroom.
This next costume excited him, and the only one he didn't have to go on his trip for. But, he still needed matching ones.. just in case. you know? Hinata let his hair down for this one, deciding just to let it rest. Finally, he grabbed the red and blue webbed suit and stepped inside it. It took a few minutes for him to get it done before finally getting it done. He managed to zip it up half way, but couldn't finish the rest and just shrugged it off. Hinata stepped outside and couldn't contain his excitement as he walked up to the mirror and twirled. A Spider-Man Costume. He had already had this, buying it along with a Spider-Gwen costume. But this one felt right for the occasional. And of course, the matching ones. Hinata glanced at the bag, which contained a Dr Strange and an Iron Man inspired look costume.
Although he dearly loved this costume, once again Hinata didn't think it was the right one tonight. Although, if he didn't like the last one.. then this would probably be second place.
So for the last time, Hinata grabs the final costume on his bed and heads into the bathroom. Stripping the skintight suit off and setting it to the side, Hinata got to work on this one. Hinata found some eye contacts that made his eyes look like blue crystals, and spent about a good 15 minutes putting them in. Blinking a few times and staring at himself in the mirror, Hinata's eyes got adjusted to them. It was slightly hard to see, but manageable. Next, Hinata hums softly as he used eyelash glue along the inside of the costume elf ears, before putting them on and making sure they stuck. Earlier he had decorated them with a few piercings.
Next, a wig that was white fading into blue. It ends just at his shoulders. Hinata made his hair into a bun before putting a mesh cap over it, then fitting the wig onto his head. Adjusting it a little bit, Hinata then started to style it in the way he was happy with. Finally, Hinata put on the black sleeveless leotard, black pants, and a blue hood.
A simple outfit, but once he stepped out and stared at himself in the mirror, giving the outfit a little twirl.. Hinata knew this was one. For the past few weeks, this certain game has plagued his mind, only being pulled away for his friends and when he had to play in the games. Baldurs Gate 3. Hinata started at himself, who he had dressed up as his Tav Character, Arin. He had played with the idea of going as one of the companions, but in the end he had thought that going as one of his.. many Tav characters would be nicer. And he was right. Seeing his character become basically real, made his heart really happy.
He decided on this costume then. Which meant.. Hinata's eyes flickered to the remaining back and picked it up. These costumes had took the longest to find, since there weren't any actual costumes for them in stores. But he managed to grab everything he needed for the costumes. A Halsin and an Astarion costume. The thought of his friends in these made his face flush red and hid it in the bag. He almost had half a mind to just go down and hold out the costumes to his friends, asking them to wear them.
His hand reached in and played with one of the shirt fabrics.. Maybe.. Maybe they would be open to it?
Hinata stood there, for what seemed like forever. Battling in his mind with his anxiety but in the end, the need of seeing his friends in these costumes-- and to see the three of them matching, won. So he gripped the bag tight and headed off to Takeru's room first. Maybe Takeru would agree more easily.. and the both of them could convince Aguni.

Caspian wasn’t exactly familiar with the concept of Halloween, but with some help from Narumi— Caspian was able to understand. And Hatter.. well he was hosting a Halloween Party. A night to dress up as anything you wanted, and usually it was.. not a lot of clothing on your body. But a night to dress up, party like usual, and get drunk like usual.. well. Maybe Caspian would get drunk tonight
But the one thing on their mind was a costume. What should he do? Caspian was learning more and more about this world, but picking out a costume stumped them. Lounging around in their room, the party was about to start. And yet, Caspian didn’t have a fostume
But then, it hit him.
Why dress up, when he can just take off the costume he was already wearing? Only a select number of people knew that this wasn’t actually his true form. Just merely one out of the two spells he somehow was allowed in this world. They weren’t human, so Caspian’s actual form.. could be considered a costume to the humans here. Caspian waved his hand, and the spell dismissed in a trickle of sparkles. There he sat, with his usual blue skin, his flowing hair that matched the sea, and bright golden cat-like eyes. Caspian slowly just got up from his chair and walked over to the mirror, before pulling out his clothes that he has arrived in. First, Caspian put their hair half up into a ponytail, the rest waving and resting on their shoulders. A red tank top with a rip in the front neckline, brown pants, and black boots. Caspian hooked his belts on and for a moment stared at his gloves. Were they brave enough to go without them?
Caspian shook his head, wrapping his hands with gauze before slipping the brown fingerless gloves onto their hands. Finally, Caspian placed the pirate hat he rarely wore even back home. Staring at themselves in the mirror, he gave a little smile. He looked much like himself, even in an unfamiliar place like this. But he would make this home, for how ever long they were here.

Weekly Prompt 6 - Life flashes before your eyes
Tumblr media
Last game, finally you have done it. through fire and dust you came out victorious on the other side but now you stand before a choice — join those who tormented you or leave these lands forever. tell us, what is your last thought before you die and join the citizens OR the first thought that crosses your mind when you wake up in the hospital?
// I decided to take this piece in a different route, and did a conversation about the choice of death or life in the borderlands, similar to Usagi and Arisu in season 2. I hope thats okay.
// Don’t ask why it’s during the fireworks I just thought that’d be pretty
// SERIOUS WARNING: This prompt has some topics that could be considered triggering or too much for some readers. Read at your own risk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before the borderlands came to an end, Lilly had a conversation with Chishiya. One she wouldn't forget.
"I... don't know if I want to go back." She whispered in tears. Chishiya stared and listened, with little to no reaction on his face, per usual.
"Why?"
She looked up. "What?"
"Why?" He asked in a monotone voice. They stared at each other for a few seconds. The wind whispered in her ears as she stared at dark colored irises. She felt as though he stared through her soul. As if he knew why, and just wanted to ask her to find her vulnerability.
"Chishiya... I... I hated myself. In the real world." She bit her lip so hard she almost drew blood. "At least in this world I had some people who understood. Who... who helped me. Or..." She paused and took a deep breath. "...Maybe it's just that I actually listened this time." Lilly couldn't hear anything from the man in front of her. Not even a shift in movement or a sigh. "Going home... what would happen? What would I gain from it? What if I don't see you all again? I didn't have anything I looked forward to. I stayed in bed for hours just... just hating myself. Dying in the games... might have been good for me." She whispered the last sentence. The wind was so strong it probably took the sentence away with it. He mustn't have heard her.
She barely managed to look up at the guy who was now a few feet closer. She jumped back slightly, startled.
"If you stay here will that change?" He said, his hands in his pockets as usual. He stared at her with intense eyes. She couldn't tell what he was thinking.
"I-"
"If all the people here who seemingly cared about you leave and go home, what will happen to you?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. She stared in silence. His hair blew gently in the wind and his face remained the same.
"I guess nothi-"
"So what's the benefit of staying here? Being on the verge of death? Watching others die. Constantly. Wouldn't that make your condition worse?"
"I thought you didn't care about that stuff."
"I did what I needed to, to survive. To get back home." He paused and looked away before looking back. "The only thing that would change about going back home is that it's easier to survive."
She stared at the ground in silence. Why was he right? She didn't like it.
"If you really wanted to die in the games, you would have done it by now. So why are you still alive?"
"Chishiya." She said in a scolding manner. "I cant have this conversation anymore." She said in tears. She began to storm off when something he said stopped her.
"Something is keeping you alive."
Silence.
"You never died in the games because something in you didn't want to." He said it in such a serious tone she felt like he he didn't mean what he said. But this was Chishiya.
"You're too scared to die."
"Why are you telling me this!? WHY CAN'T YOU LET ME BE UPSET!?" Lilly screamed at the top of her lungs. She stared at him, tears streaming down her face like a hot waterfall. Her hands were clenched so tight they were hurting. The lump in her throat was so big she could barely muster up a sentence. He walked up to her.
"Lilly." He stated quietly. "You are always going to hate yourself." She turned to leave. "Im not done." He said. "It doesn't matter where you are. Staying here means giving up." He paused. "I knew a guy." Lilly could hear Chishiya laugh bitterly.
"A guy who was stupid. But... I think he helped me understand something." He said quietly. "I'm tired, you know. Of doing anything I can to survive. He almost let himself get killed. For someone else. Stupid."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"You're tired." He said. "Of constantly fighting. You won't survive any longer in these games."
"I-"
"I'm the med student here. I think you should listen to me." He said. She could hear the smirk in his voice. The amusement. "You need rest. I mean... after all this."
"All I do is rest. All I do is sleep." She barely managed to speak.
"Is that what you've been doing?" He asked rhetorically. "These past few months? Sleeping? Hmm. Interesting."
Lilly felt herself sit down on the ground. A high pitched ringing bothered her ears. All sounds went muffled. All vision was blurry. No words could be said. She was like a toy shoved back in a box. Claustrophobic. No light. No sound. He was right.
"Hnng... ugh..." Lilly sniffled and mumbled before bursting into hysterical tears. She gripped the dirt and grass underneath her hands so hard its like she thought she'd be torn from the ground. She screamed out in pain and sobbed even more. "AHHHHHHHH!" She screamed out, crying louder than she ever has. He body shook and quaked. Tears painted the ground. Muffled footsteps led Chishiya to stand behind Lilly. He stared at her, emotionless.

He let her cry it out.
She would go home. He just had a feeling.

❝ okay, i won't lie, that was actually pretty funny. ❞
Prompts for Little Shit muses
She'd been both cursing and apologizing profusely under her breath in heated Spanish as adrenaline pumped through her veins. The ever-so-confident hand that had palmed her was met with a lapel grab and in one twisted motion Sofía slammed the drunk Beach patron onto the ground in one swift motion. Where he now lay motionless. "I'm so sorry!" The apology fell again. "--but you don't grab at a woman! Are you--" About to once more ask the well-being of the now unconscious partygoer, Sofía's ears caught Orion's familiar voice, and she felt both embarrassed and a little badass.
"¡Ay dios mío! What if I've killed him?! Will you help me bury the body?!" A panicked response through stifled laughter.

High&Low / Alice in Borderland writing prompts 💕
Hiii lovelies! I want to write, but have no idea what to write 😭 so I came up with this list of dialogue prompts! Send me a number and a character from either AiB or H&L (including Housen and SWORD) and I’ll do a little drabble for it :)
I heard a noise.
Can I be of assistance?
You’re breaking my heart, babe.
You know I can’t be found with you.
Shh, they can’t hurt you anymore.
I thought you were nice.
You can’t just sit there all day.
You’ve always felt like home.
Can I stay with you?
Will you stay with me?
I had a dream about you.
Take off your shirt.
Put your shirt on.
Sit still, for the love of god.
Are you even human?
Come back to me.
I’m scared.
I think you need stitches.
I don’t want you to stop.
Why are you laying on the floor?
Here, take my blanket.
Just smile. I really need to see you smile right now.
This is your fault, by the way.
After everything we’ve been through, you still don’t think that I love you?
You look amazing tonight.
I can’t breathe.
I won’t let anyone hurt you.
Well, excuse me for falling in love with you.
Don’t cry.
If you die, I’m going to kill you.
Why are you looking at me like that?
I haven’t slept in ages.
It should be illegal to be so pretty.
Shouldn’t you be with him/her?
You’re an idiot. I fell for an idiot.
Actually, I couldn’t care less.
I’m scared of the dark.
I can’t stay long.
You have a cold, you’re not dying.
I’ve got you.
“I have reasons. You wouldn’t get it.” “Is the reason that you’re full of shit?”
Why do they behave for you?
Tell me you need me.
That’s open for discussion.
Pillows are over-rated.
We started with one and now we have seven.
Are you still awake?
Can I walk you home?
You look so handsome like that.
I’m not just with you because I love you. I’m with you because we make hell nervous.
Thanks everyone 💕

" what the fuck are we drinking? "
" this beer is not sobering me up at all. "
“Um… I dunno, something the bartender gave you. I asked for shots.” Siwoo frowned, holding up the glass and squinting. “Yeah, those are shots.”
He glanced at your beer suspiciously. “Well, it’s beer, it won’t sober you up.” He looked at you like it was common knowledge, rolling his eyes.
Siwoo was obviously a little tipsy.

Paranormal Activities
It was easy to lose track of time in this place. The only thing comparable to a calendar was the useless phone counting down the days left on their visas.
Still, Airi could have sworn there was no way it could be Halloween.
While she was spiritual, she was not superstitious but she did believe that sometimes the veil between this life (dimension, stage, whatever people wanted to call it) and the next got thinner or torn and you could catch a glimpse of the beyond.
So far, it had only happened to her in dreams, so she could easily discard the encounter as a product of her subconscious. Of course she would conjure images of her loved ones that had passed away, they usually came to her when she needed comfort. Curiously enough, she hadn’t dreamed about them since… well, since the real world had been replaced by the Borderlands.
But how to explain what she had just seen?
That night’s game had been deceptively easy. A guy she hadn’t seen before went out of his way to help her.
Airi was suspicious at first. It was very strange to find someone willing to help out of the goodness of their hearts, so the first thing she thought was that he was trying to set her up in case he needed to sacrifice someone to clear the game.
But he didn’t.
He walked beside her, only speaking to give her short instructions. ‘Move.’ ‘Hurry.’ ‘Careful.’
When they cleared the game, Airi asked him his name, if he had somewhere to stay, but the young man stayed silent.
‘Thank you,’ she said to him and turned around to walk back to The Beach, it wasn’t too far away from the night’s arena.
She started to panic when she noticed the guy was walking a few steps behind her. Was he following her? Would he attack her now?
Airi was about to turn around and tell him to stop when out of the corner of her eye he spotted a group of people approaching her, waving metal bars around, hitting cars, smashing their windows, clearly looking for someone to try their weapons on.
‘Quick, hide,’ the mysterious guy said.
Airi jumped out of the way, crouching behind a pile of boxes in a dark alley until the violent group passed by.
‘You’re safe now. Take care. Survive.’ As he said that, he faded away.
Airi felt a violent shiver run down her spine, and a scream died in her throat. She should have noticed his paleness, the way he didn’t seem to be completely present. Maybe it wasn't Halloween, but in this place, filled with so much death, was it really all that strange that some of the spirits of the dead lingered? Who was he and why had he helped her? She didn’t know but she was grateful.
‘Thank you,’ she muttered again. She intended to survive as he had said.
Do you believe in ghosts? Because they believe in you.

Angst Prompts - #3
Guilt is creeping through my body as I think about Arisu being beaten up by Niragi again. Chishiyas plan worked just as he thought but the price we had to pay was to to use someone as our bait.
Thousand violent imaginations what Niragi might do to him are popping up before my eyes and no matter how much I cry, my tears just won’t seem to wash the pictures away.
„(Y/n)“, I hear Chichiyas voice again. He tries to talk to me since we came back to his room, but I’m technically on stand-by. „(Y/n). Talk to me.“ I just keep staring against the wall. „You know I had to do something, right?“
Of course I know but that doesn’t make it better. It’s a cruel world that forces us to do cruel things but I refuse to believe it was the only option he had.
„I know“, I whisper between my tears. „But you didn’t had to use him like that.“
„But it worked“, he answers. I couldn’t help but laugh. „It worked?!“ I ask furiously. „Well that’s nice, maybe we can tell Arisu if we find what’s left of him!“
„(Y/n)“, Chishiya tries to reason again, but I interrupt him. „No!“ I scream and stand up from the bed I was sitting on. „The militants got him! Niragi got him! You know what that bastard is capable of!“ I feel new tears well up, so I quickly look up and rub over my eyes to prevent them from rolling down my cheek.
As I look back down Chishiya stands in front of me, calm as always, what makes me even more angry. „I know“, he just answers.
„Then why did you do it?!“ I scream at the top of my lungs, straight to his face. No muscle in his face even twitches, but his hands start to move. He grabs my arms, pushes me against the wall and looks me dead in the eyes. „Because I want us to get out of here“, he says, calm but intense, never leaving my eyes out of his.
„I know you want to save him“, Chishiya continues after I don’t say anything. „You want to help and save everyone. Your heart is way too big for this twisted world. Way too big for your own good sometimes.“
The tension is thick, his eyes are burning into mine and my arms are getting sore from his grip, but I don’t dare to move. Not because I’m afraid of him, I’m afraid of everything that is beyond his arms. He has a reason to do what he does, but others do it for fun, like Niragi. I’m not angry at him, I’m angry at the world we’re in.
Chishiyas hands become a bit softer as he continues to speak: „I cherish you for your good nature and sometimes I wish I was a bit more like you, but right now you need to be a little more like me. Of course I care but on the other hand it doesn’t matter what happens to Arisu or someone else, because at the end of the day are you the one that lays next to me.“
My heart stops beating for a second, just to start as twice as fast than before again.
„Look, I know I’m not the hero in this story, but as long as you and I are okay I don’t need to be. I will get us out of here and I will do whatever it takes to leave this hell with you by my side. If I compare it, it’s a small cost for a big prize.“
His eyes are now soft and his hands simply lay on my biceps. Tears are flowing down my cheeks, like a waterfall that just won’t stop. I almost collapse in his arms, trying to hold him as close as possible while I inhale his smell. I try to safe this moment for forever, try to bottle it up so it’s safe in my memory, in my heart.
„I‘m scared“, I manage to whisper after I ran out of tears. „I’m just so scared.“
„I know“ Chishiya’s matching his volume with mine, whispering in my ear. My head hurts from the crying and screaming and I’m tired, but I refuse to let go of him just yet. Thankfully he doesn’t seem to mind.
I feel like my fics are getting worse with every piece I write 💀 still wont stop lol. I hope you liked it anyways 🫶🏻
