Where is the evidence that Crowley is verbally, emotionally and physically abused by Hell? We ASSUME he has been tortured at some point but it has never been made clear. He says "my lot do not send rude notes" but he never elaborates on any actual punishment so I'm just wondering.

The evidence is a) in the subtext and b) in the scriptbook itself! The subtext is worthy of its own post because it's a lot and it will get very elaborate very quick, so let's focus on textual evidence for now.

We KNOW that Crowley got pulled down to hell so they could punish him for breaking the rules, and it is repeated over and over again how hell tortures both people and other demons. They don't just give him paperwork—they hurt him. The demon talking to Beelzebub got his tongue ripped out, Shax threatened to rearrange his organs (and that was not an empty threat judging by how she pulverized one of the Erics), and hell is full of screams and despair.

We SAW how hell tortures the damned (-> Spinnetime), and that is well. Proper torture. So whatever they do to punish demons will also be physical and mental torture. Demons hurt and kill each other on the daily, we see that with Beez, Hastur, and Shax, among others.

Another example:

They dissolved one of their own just to test the holy water, do you really think they have reservations about torturing someone? Do you really think Crowley would be absolutely terrified for his life and would rather be destroyed than go back if they did not abuse him?

It's all right there on the screen, just because there's no Neil Gaiman voice-over detailing everything they do to him doesn't mean it's not canon.

Just thinking outloud! So I’ve been re reading the thing about destiny again and I’ve super duper been enjoying all the updates you’ve made!

I think I’ve gotten to the parts where you’ve stopped so far and it’s back to the OG (spiderman right?) which was very funny cuz then I remembered the basics of the OG Peter Parker storyline and it was totally Andrew Garfield at the time right?

Anyway that all had me thinking about how funny it is he’s technically in the MCU now and in what capacity Annalise finds herself hopping the the different universes and that it kinda matches up so well the Loki series stuff too haha.

That said I also love all ur AU Annalise stories too, so I got caught up in trying to decide if there are different Annalise’s hopping the different timelines in different universes or if it’s the same Annalise in all timelines and she just forgets other universes if she switches between them (like how she forgets her original life)!

Anyway love the fic as always! Cant wait to finish it again and read through the AUs again too!

First of all, ahhhhh thank you friend!!! This means the world to me that you still go back to Anna and her story!!! I was actually working on some edits and seeing this gave me a shot of motivation!

Okay so yes, it totally was Andrew Garfield when I first wrote it! I still question if changing it was the right call, but I would love to one day call this story finished, so it did make more sense to do a retcon. Not a spoiler or anything, but in the new edited version, our boy Andrew doesn't actually make it to the MCU as I am starting to play with cannon and change things up! Totally crazy you should mention Loki as I only just now got around to watching season 2 and boy...did I get some ideas from that. I want to say the AU Anna's are all variants of each other, different timelines and realities for each one. Thinking about a fake dating scenario like say Sweets family is always bothering her about not dating anyone and she lies and says “actually I am seeing someone!” But then they ask to meet the person so now she has to find someone ti be her fake date. The short answer is: because Tobias has a curse and he wanted to find a cure.

OMG HOW- calm down, first things first.

As I said before, when Alex and Elisa started to take their relationship more seriously, Alex would hang out in the Colony using a shrinking potion and preteding to be an imp. He was well accepted as one by Elisa's fellow imps and fairies and they never had many problems with his disguise.

But there was this one, powerful, envy fairy who took notice that something about Alex was... off.

She started to do her own investigations and ended up finding the truth out: Alex was no imp, but a human in disguise. Although, to her, this was actually very good news.

Why? Because this fairy - Irwalia - comes from a family that has been preaching an ancient propecy over a century now. Said prophecy omens that, one day, a being with the strongest of souls - a fairy soul - and the strongest of bodies - a human body - would be born to free the Colony from it's decades of war.

There are a lot of fairy families that preach this prophecy till this day, but all of them are taken as delusionals by most of the Colony's inhabitants. It's impossible to have a being that has a different soul from it's body, it just can't happen. But they hold onto their beliefs firmly regardless.

When Irwalia learned the truth about Alex, she couldn't help but be ecstatic: she had finally found a human inside the Colony's walls. And, if SHE was the one who discovered him first, then she must be the one meant to give birth to this prophetic child… right?

In a vengeful and spiteful spirit, Irwalia decided to not report Alex to the Colony's authorities, but instead take her anger out on what the human and his imp wife treasured the most: their only child.

Alex and Elisa didn't took long to find Toby, afterall she wanted to take her revenge in front of them...

Irwalia cursed Toby with something that not only breaked Alex's heart, but made the child defenseless if he ever encountered a human: if in close proximity to a human, Toby is completely unable to do any kind of magic.

This may not sound like a big deal, but imps, especially imp borrowers, take great advantage from their magic abilities to protect themselves from the sight of humans and their malicious intents. And, of course, Toby would never be able to obtain his full magic potential (which he has a lot of) around his own father.

Aside from all that, his hair is now bright blue, a side effect of the curse that makes it difficult for him to hide from humans and dangerous animals.

Toby grew up not being allowed to leave the Colony EVER because of his curse. So when he became an adult, after getting involved in a lot of trouble inside the Colony, being the little thief and vagabond that he is, he thought-

Unfortunately, he never had the chance to actually seek a cure for his curse in the book because he was discovered for his theft before that, yeah, it was all kind of pointless, he truly sucks at hiding.

im so late on this but for the wip folder ask: HADES CODY????? SUNSHINE BOY BUT HADES??? im so hyped about it

YES! Sunshine boy is steadily making his way into the Hades AU!! He’s got his jetpack and a torn up poncho for dramatic effect (but no Wi-Fi antenna because I didn’t want to put it in his face 😅)

Why did I feel it necessary to add all these sketches to this one page? Because 1) I wanted to showcase how much I struggled on this one. It is just part of the drawing process. Like, Old Man Rex was a headache and a half but Cody still had him beat on the sketch somehow. And 2) because the solution to being stuck here turned out to be to switch my dark brown/desaturated purple to a red colour, scribble out the very very base of the pose (imagine blobs and swoopy lines and boxes) and then just keep chipping away at building the body and armor and whatever on top of it. (I think the sketch is still very red in the original file…)That had granted me a breakthrough with Rex as well, and now with Cody too… so I might as well remember this solution and spare myself the trouble with the next character ^^;

(Do I know what size a lightsaber actually is when it is held in only one hand? No. Am I willing to look it up properly? … not for the time being, no)
