Uh idk exactly how to do this so I just went through my On Repeat Spotify playlist and picked out 10 songs (I used YouTube links here to be more inclusive 😂)

꽃 (Flower) by Jisoo - I’ve also had this song stuck in my head for a week (but that’s because it lowkey inspired me to plot a new Andreil WIP lol)

We’ll Never Have Sex by Leith Ross - I love this song so much, both cuz it’s an asexual love song (happy pride month wheee) and cuz it’s soooo Andreil it’s insane

Through Me (The Flood) by Hozier - I’m so pumped for this new Hozier album to drop and I’ve been obsessed with all of the pre-releases so far, but this song is my fave of them

The Horse and the Infant from Epic: The Musical - these concept EP’s have become my entire personality irl

จริงเกิน (Surreal) by Jeff Satur - KinnPorsche kicked off my Jeff Satur phase back in February and I’m still living in it, so this is my fave of his songs by far and, like many Jeff Satur songs, it also gives KimChay vibes

All You Wanna Do from SIX - saw SIX live recently and it was like one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life, and this song is of course my favorite

Any Way The Wind Blows from Hadestown - this song might be important for my AFTG Big Bang fic but you didn’t hear that from me 🫢

True Crime by Epik High (ft. Miso) - this song gives me such strong Andreil vibes but I couldn’t tell you why

Take Me Back to Eden by Sleep Token - most recent song I listened to that made me insane with the Andreil vibes

i've been watching todd in the shadows' top 10 best and worst songs of every year from 2014 to 2022 and i gotta say! this really helped me figure out what my issue with pop music in the last few years is (beyond the basic stuff like tiktok encouraging shorter songs or putting all your energy into one line and nothing else etc)

it's that. pop music isn't fun anymore?? or at least like, the truly fun songs, that make you wanna get up and dance, are so so rare and usually get pushed to the side (and those that do succeed get played to oblivion to the point even the artist gets sick of them. see: say so)

it's kinda like the big boom of edm pop music in the early 10s that made so many popular songs sound the same except today it's all the same sounding beats and quiet singing and not a lot of other elements going on for them or making them particularly memorable

and it's making me sad :^( i like pop but currently, at least the mainstream scene, is so barren and uninteresting

most of what I listen to is kpop and idk if you like kpop lol but maybe you'll enjoy some of them!! so! I'll limit myself to 10 otherwise I'd give you my entire spotify wrapped 2022 lmao

1. Unthinkable by Ftisland (my top song in 2022, I listened to it 436 times apparently)

2. Star by Onewe (listened to this one on repeat on vacation and I'm still not tired of it)

3. Stay Here by Gaho (my favorite song!!)

4. Voyager by Kihyun (his solo debut song!! absolutely fantastic song and the music video is so good!!)

5. Pray by Infinite (my other favorite song, not sure why I just love love love how it sounds)

6. Darl+ing by Seventeen (didn't love it on the first listen and then I listened to it again a month later and it's one of my favorites sksksjak)

7. Daisy by Pentagon (hhhhhh love this song)

8. Fade Out by Ftisland (I didn't have spotify until this year but if I had had it for the last four years I think this song would always have ended up in my top 100)
