Here's how you can make your very own brand of saucy lil tiefling / elf / w/e it's all the same body type 2
The eyes aren't any particular mod, actually. It's a sorta glitch in game? Basically if you click one of the infernal eye types and then you give your character heterochromia -- as long as you're changing colours with that option on, the left one forever has that weird flame glow on it! It takes a little clicking and tweaking things around, but it happens a bunch. I used Elf Gold for his special eye tm in this case!
I like to think that despite canon's ambiguity on the subject that Phoenix became good friends with Iris after BttT and she sends him handmade scarves and gloves and stuff in the winter. One day Phoenix goes to visit Kristoph in prison while wearing one of those scarves and is like ":( Kris.... we were toxic with benefits for 7 years and you never made me anything. You're in prison this long and you didn't bother learning some arts and crafts??? Cmon you never even knitted me a scarf" and Kristoph makes some snide remark about it but then a few months later Phoenix gets an unlabeled box on the porch of WAA that has this really shittily made scarf in it and Phoenix refuses to let anyone touch it bc he is convinced it's poisoned somehow. And he's right.
Realized how often the Narrator anthropomorphizes things in the Ultra Deluxe in order to encourage or bait Stanley. Which is so much different than how he was in the past endings, specifically the apartment ending. The way he now refers to all the different quotable and memorable objects in the game as Stanley’s friends.
There’s just something about the way the Narrator does at least deeply try to relate to Stanley’s need as a human, understanding more that we are sociable creatures. Giving us the bucket as something to cherish and playing along with the notion (despite getting very obviously upset when Stanley gets too attached to the bucket and then tries to break down that narrative). The attempt made to actually reach out to Stanley in a human-like way.
I don’t know where I’m going with this but the attempt at connection through the similar actions of a person or something like that. Acknowledgement of human needs, even if it's more or less the bare minimum effort.
I got all caught up on Re: Dracula and now I am suffering in the Droughtula
Now what will I listen to during all my household chores? How will I do dishes without the reassuring tones of Quincey Morris comforting me, dust my shelves without the wise guidance of Van Helsing?
