I started watching teen wolf rn i'm on s2 but here are my thoughts

*SPOILERS*

Don't care much for Scott, Allison,Derek,ect. mainly watching for styles

Allisons aunt doomed herself by killing innocent people and she was possibly like the hs teacher that dated her student with Derek. Jackson needs therapy not to be a werewolf. Also, they should of all told Lydia after the attack even if she thought it, was a joke. Isaac's dad deserved to be killed. I do not like Alisons need to feel like she can't be scared cuz if she is she's weak. Alisons mom is also a dumb bitch for trapping Scott and then Derek biting her. The guidance counselor being part of something with the vet was a good twist. Peter's nurse would have been an angel of death if he didn't get to her first. Also, Allison you're a high schooler you're not in love with Scott enough to marry him.

So I'm back at watching Teen Wolf and why are the main characters ALWAYS talking in the middle of class, or a test. In my HS we had free periods or lunch to talk but they're just in the middle of Math or English talking about the supernatural. Is this just a West Coast thing?

1. Styles's absence was so noticable i hated it.

2. I'm sorry but I never really liked Allison (only twordes the end, when she and Scott were broken up and she was into Issac) becouse they were both too heroic for me and it was too much... so the fact that the whole movie is about her - it sucked a bit

3. I also didnt understand why Malia's charachter didn't have any growth? She acted ecxactly like she did 15 years ago when she just turned into a human... that's wired and unrealistic in my opinion

4. Malia and Parish. That was so unexpected and I haven't decided what I think of it.

5. listen, I know first love is a big deal and you never forget them. But from never forgetting them to not being with anyone or at least not being able to be with anyone else for real it's too much. It also cancelled the Kira and Malia arcs in the last seasons of the show which I also don't like because I loved Scott with Malia the most (because they were so defferent)

6. It is so in charachter of Mason to become a deputy. LOVED ITTTT

7. Eli has my heart. Sweet baby

8. Who the hell is the new kitzune?? She had a major part in the end but we didn't get any information about her wtf I don't even remember her name.

9. Why Liam wasn't important? It was like the only reason he was there is so the kitzune could be, like he was there only to conect her to the story.

10. Dad Derek is amazing. I LOVED it, him, everything.

11. Which bring me to the next point... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. I really do think, with all my heart, that the end *didn't* have to happen like that and we could've managed without it.

12. I'm sorry but in what world Allison just stays alive... that was so disappointing because her death made them stronger and we felt like they are getting better and more normal in the last seasons and bringing her back to life like nothing happen?! I don't agree with it, I hate it, and it sucks.

13. I forgot how funny Jackson was, everytime he spoke I laughed

14. Lastly, obviously I hate and I'm sad that Styles and Lydia aren't together but I feel like the way they chose to explaine it was good and in charachter. They didn't break up because they stopped loving eachother or because aomething happened, it's because they love eachother and Lydia was scared for his life and wanted to keep him safe. This ship will be the death of me.

So overall I am very conflicted and I dont really know what I think... maybe I cant say that it sucked because the show is 1 of my top 2 fav shows and it will feel like betrayal it if I wont like the movie idk

Teen Wolf: The Movie released in 2023 should NOT exist and is an ABSOLUTE ATROCITY. Here’s why:

Not only was it absolute bullshit that Jeff Davis killed Derek the same way his family was killed, by burning him alive! But he also had Derek’s 15 year old son WATCH him die. JUST LIKE how Derek watched his family die from a fire when HE was 15!

Where the hell is Stiles, a key character to the series? So major of a character that when he didn’t appear in the beginning of season 6 of the original series, views decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. And when he returned in season 6 episode 11 (with Derek, might I add), views SKYROCKETED like crazy.

A majority of the movies plot points don’t line up with the original show. For example: Chris Argent and Isaac Lahey took the jar containing the Nogitsune with them when they went to France. So why is it on a shelf, let me repeat: a GOD DAMN SHELF, in Japan?! Another thing is that in the original show Derek (as an alpha) was able to survive a wolfsbane bullet wound for almost, if not, 24 hours. While in the movie Chris says Scott (also an alpha) only has a few hours to survive before the poison kills him.

Stiles would never abandon not only his Jeep, as stated in season 4 episode 1: The Dark Moon, but ALSO Scott and Lydia, his two best friends.

There’s so many other things that just don’t line up but it would take way too long to explain and that’s not the reason I’m posting this. The reason for this post is up next. So moving on…

Since Jeff Davis HAS decided to give us this movie with its OUTRAGEOUS plot line and BULLSHIT ending (no offense to Davis entirely, he did very good on the original series but he honestly should have left it there), I have decided (as I’m sure others have as well) that there needs to be a sequel to fix it. Here’s some of the things I think need to happen in said hypothetical and much needed sequel:

Eli’s the main character (not Scott McAsshole) and we learn who his other biological parent is (most likely Kate because even if everyone hates it, it would serve as a very interesting plot).

Stiles comes back because the show is absolute SHIT without him. AND he’s pissed about Scott & the pack not calling him for his help, resulting in Derek being DEAD! He’s also mad at Scott because he, an ALPHA, allowed one of his betas to SACRIFICE himself. In front of his KID no less! The TRAUMA the poor pup will have now. (Can’t there be ONE Hale generation that DOESN’T have life altering trauma and hogwash happen to them!)

Isaac should also return so we can see his reaction to Allison being resurrected and Derek being dead. His reaction is so important to me because when Allison died they were dating and Derek was his original alpha & took him in after his dad died.

In fact, since we’re bringing Stiles and Isaac back, let’s bring EVERYONE that was still alive at the end of the original series and were still part of the pack (or once was) back. Let’s have them make a major debut for an amazing kick ass battle against some new big bad. (Possibly “Captain America: Civil War” style. ✨SCOTT vs STILES✨ …That’s actually not a bad idea. I’ll post about that next, but first we got to continue with what else needs to happen.)

Derek isn’t ACTUALLY dead! Yay! He should be in bardo because 1: he’s a stubborn, self sacrificing pain in the ass who has been wronged in SO many ways. And 2: he has realized his mistake of sacrificing himself (while needed in the movie, it could have easily been prevented if Stiles was there) causing him to leave his son and outright REFUSES to fully die. PLUS, right before Derek died we saw his eyes turn RED, meaning that he is now a True Alpha. That changes a LOT of things! I don’t care if there’s no body and he can’t logically return to this plane of existence physically. He’s in bardo. Plain and simple. The show has already broken so many perceived supernatural rules, what’s one more?

Stiles has ✨magic✨ (as hinted on by Deaton saying he has a Spark MULTIPLE times throughout the series) and brings Derek back from being almost-dead-but-not-quite-dead.

And finally, what a MAJORITY of Teen Wolf fans (myself included 😌) have been waiting for *drumroll*: STEREK!!! FINALLY it happens! *jazz hands*

BOOM! DONE! STORY FIXED! Your welcome!

The Return

Derek Hale X Male Reader

A/N: Based on the teaser clip.

The door to the locker room creaks open as Derek Hale carries his teenage son, Eli, in his arms bridal style. Y/N is at their heels as the young Hale protests to be let down. “Dad, put me down! Jesus.”

“Please put me down!”

“You… You said you couldn’t walk,” Derek said.

“I can hop.” Eli looks at his dad, a pleasing look on his face. “Fine.” Derek lets him down.

“Thanks.”

Y/N watches Eli hop toward the bench. Guess he inherited his father’s stubbornness. Outside, Y/N can hear the crowd of people who are cheering for the Beacon Hill lacrosse team. Coach Finstock blows his whistle. Y/N and Derek walk slowly towards Eli as he grunts a bit. “You almost had that shot, Eli,” Y/N said.

“No, I didn’t,” Eli says.

“Yes, you did. I, we both saw it,” Derek countered. “You were right at the goal.”

“You’re better than you think you are,” Y/N said.

“I was in for less than a minute, Y/N. I’m not good at all,” Eli said. “I got the ball for a second and I got knocked on my ass and twisted my ankle. That wasn’t nothing.”

“Eli!” Derek uses his father voice. Calm and commanding. “It was nothing, dad.”

“It was something. I was watching, coach and he saw it too. You’re good.” Derek and Y/N sat on both sides of Eli. “You’re really good. And if you can heal, you could play tomorrow night. And you can help them win,” Derek said as he looked at his son, a gentle look on his handsome features. It was rare for Derek to be gentle with anyone, minus a few people. Eli and Y/N were a few of those people. “The first step to transforming is healing. But you’ve gotta be willing to learn.” He puts a hand on his shoulder as Eli looks at him for a moment and grunts at his twisted leg.

Y/N bites his wrist and shows Eli it. All bloody. The young boy scrunches his nose in disgust. “What the hell are you doing?”

“Vampire blood can heal almost any injury. If your leg hurts that much, I can help heal you.” Y/N told him. “Or I could use some healing herbs back at my house?”

“I’ll go with the herbs,” Eli says quickly.

Y/N smiles. “Okay, fair point.”

Derek watches with a gentle smile on his face. It was good to see Eli and Y/N getting along so well. After his divorce from Lois, Derek wasn’t sure how his son would feel if his dad started seeing his old high school sweetheart again. Turns out that he didn't mind at all. As long as his father was happy, he was happy.

This little moment between them didn't last long as another door to the locker room creaked open as someone walked inside. The sound of a bowstring being pulled back was heard as Derek saw a shadowy figure in front of them. Something sharp and gleaming pointed at them. It whizzed towards them as Derek pushed Eli’s head down. “Get down!” The object that almost hit Eli in the head was an arrow. Black with a silver tip. It was lodged in a locker behind them.

“Run! Run!” Derek told him.

“I’ll keep him safe.” Y/N grabbed Eli and speeded away. The intruder draws another arrow from their quiver as they launch another shot. Derek uses his strength to move a row of lockers in front of the arrow. The person drops their bow as they grab a knife from their boot. They expertly twist it in their hands as Derek growls. The person charges and runs on top of a bench as they bring their knife down to take a swipe at Derek, who dodges it. The intruder jabs the knife forward as Derek blocks it with his arm. They go low as Derek blocks that as well. They take a swipe as Derek backs up. They charge as Derk grabs their arm and slams them against the nearest row of lockers.

He roars in their face as his eyes flash blue. Who thinks they can attack him, his son, Y/N, and live? The light catches the person’s face as he stops and is shocked when he learns who’s attacking them. It's… Allison Argent! Derek’s eyes return to normal as his fury has quelled. “Allison?” It can't be her. Allison has been dead for years. Stabbed in the heart by an Oni demon’s sword. Now she was here? Allison takes Derek's moment of hesitation as she pushes him back and punches him. as she switches the knife in her hands to her right as she raises it and stabs down with it. She pushes down with both hands as she tries to sink into Derek's chest. The Werewolf holds it up as they're both locked in a battle of strength, both sides pushing up and down. Derek doesn't want to hurt Allison, but she's not making this easy for him to hold back. He roars as he grabs the huntress, spins, and throws her to the ground as he runs towards the doors of the locker room.

Allison gets back up as she takes out a miniature crossbow and raises it towards the fleeting werewolf. She fires the trigger as the arrow flies and slices through the skin flesh of Derek Hale. A clean hit through his neck as he slams against the doors as he goes flying because of his forced weight on the easy moving doors. He slides to the floor. Allison picks up her bow as she walks towards Derek, an ominous feeling in her steps as the flickering lights of the locker room give her a predatory vibe. Derek struggles on the ground as he tries to crawl away from her, right hand on his bleeding out neck wound. He gasps and chokes, as he can’t even get any words out to reason with the Argent girl. Derek falls on his back as he looks up at Allison. Blood drips from his mouth and onto the floor as Allison stares coldly at him. This is it. This is how it’s going to end.

The huntress draws another arrow in the string as she pulls it back and takes aim. This time, she'll hit more than just a grazed wound. This time it will be a bullseye. Derek closes his eyes as he hears the arrow leave its bow and he prays that Y/N will look after Eli once he’s gone. Derek waits for the impact to hit him, but it never does. He hesitantly opens his eyes and, to his surprise; Y/N is standing in front of him, arrow caught in one hand. He shows Allison his vampire face as he roars, fangs out and sharp. “Leave him alone!” He stares at the intruder with anger, but that’s quickly replaced with shock as he sees who’s attacking them.

“Allison?” Y/N whispered. He stares at the daughter of Chris Argent. The daughter who was supposed to be dead, not alive and well. His brother’s first love. It just wasn’t possible. “Allison, I don’t know what’s going on, but we can help you. We’re not your enemies. Please put the bow down.”

Allison looks a bit shocked, but she quickly recovers as she draws another arrow and fires it, as the Heretic has no idea what’s in store for him. He catches the arrow and screams as he feels it burn his skin. He looks down at his hand, then the arrow. Vervain. He looks at Allison. How did she get vervain? Allison draws two knives as she charges towards Y/N as he runs towards her at super speed and dodges a swipe at his face as he grabs her and throws her back inside the locker room. He waves his hands as the doors close with telekinesis. Y/N’s not sure how long that will last, but he has to get Derek out of there fast. He rushes to him and kneels down.

“Hang on, Sour Wolf, I’ll get you out of here.” Y/N scoops up Derek in his arms and speeds away from the school building. He stops just in front of a car as Eli is leaning against it, a worried expression on his face. When he sees Y/N and Derek, he runs towards them. “Dad! Dad!”

He touched his dad’s face. He looks so worried that Y/N can see tears starting to form in his eyes. “Hey Eli, please don’t cry. He’ll be fine, I promise.” Eli wipes his almost fallen tears, as he looks at Y/N. “I wasn’t crying, dude. I have something stuck in my eyes.”

“Right. We need to get him somewhere safe.”

“Where?”

“My place,” Y/N said as he loaded Derek inside the car and got in the front seat and Eli in front as they drove away.

Stiles has never before felt this helpless. He stood in front of his wardrobe, looking at the last one of his shirts and trying to figure out how to fit into something that he got for his eight birthday. It was simply impossible.

But it wasn’t as if it was Stiles’ fault. Between having to fight for his life every second day, with angry monsters destroying his clothes or blood splattering on the remains, and doing his homework in research, regarding the prevention of such fights, he didn’t exactly have the time to go shopping.

So what do you do when you have no clean and whole and fitting clothes left? You call for help. „Peter.“

„Stiles! My favorite whelp. To what do I owe the honor of this call, dear boy?“ Stiles could practically hear the amusement in the older one’s voice and for a moment he wondered whether this was really such a good idea. But what had to be done, had to be done. „I need your help.“

If he wasn’t mistaken, the man was laughing at him, mocking him with his almost concerned voice, „Ah, and what can I do for you?“ „I don’t have any more clothes. And I need some, like right now.“ Stiles had to get this over with as quickly as possible.

„What, then you call me?“ Yes, Peter was definitely laughing at him. Stiles sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, „Well, I can hardly wear my father’s clothes ‘cause he has about as many as I do since he’s running around in his uniform all day. I won’t take anything from Scott - Allison went shopping for him. And even if Derek was so kind as to lend me a shirt or so, I’d probably drown in there.“

He had to listen to the static of his mobile phone for far longer than was comfortable, hoping during the silence that the older man wouldn’t refuse just because he could. But finally came the considering words of someone who knew how to get what he wanted, „So I am your only option.“

Stiles began tapping his foot, answering somewhat resigned, „Yes. Now what do you want in return?“ It’d be too good to be true, if there wasn’t anything the wolf wanted. Peter hummed, „What about a fashion show, you know, just for me? I mean, asking me, you have to like my style. I’m sure I can help you with -“

„Yeah, alright. Then I can keep whatever I choose?“ „Oh, I’ll make sure to get you the good things, my love“, the other one purred. Stiles rolled his eyes, but replied, „Okay.“

"Fuck." "There there, sweetheart. You of all people should know when to hold back, shouldn't you?" Stiles groaned in answer when he put pressure on his injured leg despite Peter supporting him. The wolf was probably only seconds away from gathering him up into his arms bridal style and carrying him home - or at least to his jeep - but Stiles couldn't let him do that. There had been a time when he'd welcomed Peter's flirting and mother henning very much. But by now he knew that despite the, sometimes on sexual harassment bordering, flirting, Peter was in a dedicated relationship. Stiles couldn't even fault him for that, but he definitely wouldn't be the asshole to get in between Peter and Chris Argent. He had to admit he'd never guessed the two being together at all if he hadn't seen them. And he would have dismissed it as a hallucination or maybe a joke but, well. The heavy make out session they started after Peter had seen him watching, spoke volumes. Allison's pitying face when he'd asked her if she knew about the relationship did, too. Stiles was used to being in love with people he couldn't hold a candle to. First there had been Lydia who hadn't given him the time of day until their unlucky stumble into the supernatural when they had become friends, to his surprise. Then there had been Danny at around the same time, who had made him realize that he might play a lot more for the other team, actually, which luckily hadn't become as weird as he'd feared during the times he'd spent in the locker rooms before and after lacrosse. Well. It had become weird and he'd become stupid around Danny, but that was something he'd already been used to in life. Other than the whole supernatural thing that had brought not only sexy evil werewolf Peter Hale but also just as sexy DILF Hunter Christopher Argent in his life. None of them had ever given him the time of day. Well, there had been that prom with Lydia who'd tried to make Jackson jealous and there always was Peter's flirting, but obviously, none of them had ever meant what they had tried to sell him. Or rather Peter obviously didn't mean it. After all Lydia had only smiled and nodded and not lied at his face while holding him upright after a fight with another one of their weekly monsters. Danny and Chris at least were honest enough to just tell him that they didn't want anything of what he had to give to them. He could work with that. A no was a no, after all.

McCall hunter Anon. I understand exactly what you mean when it comes to AUs that change the open and dynamic for everything. However I argue that the reason I myself don't like them too much is because folks that do such things don't think about the butterfly effect one has on everything else that comes next.

I love your take on it and yes the Argents backstory would be the same however you've given me a question I never thought to ask "why wasn't Scott trained?" I have my own answer for why Melissa gave up the life. But I never thought to ask about Scott and the answer would be he was the opposite of Kate. And on the spot idea would be that Scott was too pure. In a world of boys will be boys Scott idolized and took after his mom with he wanted to take care of people he wanted to take care of everybody even his hyperactive friend styles he took care of when injuries came. He mimicked his mom and her attitude when she was studying for her medical degree. And, Melissa looks at Scott and says I don't want to take taint this. As far as we know, as according to the Argents, females were leaders and men were soldiers. And, if he doesn't fit the roles of either then why not make him something different; a healer.

Using your thoughts a dynamic that I now want to explore is Deaton. If Mel has the backstory that she has then that would mean she knows who Deaton is. What if Scott's whole Outlook on life to help everyone and job came from a change of heart hunter and a heartbroken emissary? Such a thoughts, both minds and yours, I feel wouldn't change the story but it would change\depend the dynamic of a few people.

For me, I always prefer the simple answers. When it comes to "why wasn't Scott trained the way canon Allison was?," Occam's Razor suggests that regardless of what type of Hunter the McCall's would be, Scott's asthma would be an obstacle. Unless you want to make the McCall parents as bad as Gerard, they're not going to ignore the fact that it would not be very good if a hunter has an asthma attack in the woods in the middle of the night. I'm sure that there are other roles an asthmatic Scott could play in a McCall Hunter AU, of course, but it remains a valid possible reason for him not being trained.

I want to push back on any description of Scott as pure. I don't think you meant it in the way it's usually taken, but it is still a dangerous idea to me. Canon Scott is not so much different than any other teenager in the show: Stiles, Jackson, Danny, Lydia, Isaac, Boyd, Erica, etc. He's ambitious to make first line, to make something happen in a life he sees as 'sitting on the sidelines'; while he falls in love with Allison, he is definitely lustful; he is resentful of his father's absence. Melissa may have encouraged him to be compassionate and courageous, but he's not inherently better than any of his peers. When it comes down to it, he's the heroic protagonist because he makes better choices according to his own judgment.

"Purity" as a trait in fiction appears as often and can be as damaging as "destiny"; they become shorthand for "the hero is the hero because he was always meant to be the hero and thus has an advantage in being better." Which means, of course, that those who aren't heroes were never meant to be the heroes, and thus somehow have a disadvantage. I feel this is what leads parts of the fandom to dislike Scott because they, wrongly, feel that his role as heroic protagonist means their favorite character is supposed to be seen as inherently bad. (For many, this offends their racism.) This isn't true. Scott not only could have chosen wrong but he sometimes did choose wrong. He's the hero because, in the critical moments, he decides to do the right thing. For example, he had every reason to listen to Stiles and abandon Derek to his fate in Formality (1x11), but he didn't. He needed to save Allison, and no matter that Derek had just betrayed him to Peter and just tried to kill Jackson, Scott believed that Derek was the type of person who would help him.

But pushing back against "purity" also means I have to look at Scott's relationship with his mother. I don't think we're supposed to take Melissa as some sort of perfect parent. She's not portrayed as such. She's never shown as uncaring about Scott, but she is significantly detached from his life, even during Season 1, in a way that no other parent (aside from Corey's) is indicated as being. I feel this is a function of class and narrative necessity, considering how much her work is empathized. Fandom makes a joke about Melissa doing everything at the hospital, but I don't think we're supposed to dismiss it. Melissa always being at work isn't laughed off by the narrative and that makes her distant. Unlike the Sheriff for example, she has no idea that the sacrificial ritual is causing her son any problems. She misses Scott's uncharacteristic aggression toward Isaac and is confused by Scott's lack of control in Anchors (3x13). And what's more telling is that even after these situations -- she never follows up. This never changes. The scene at the start of Creatures of the Night (5x01) demonstrates this. Scott isn't "pure" because Melissa is always there for him; he makes good decisions despite Melissa being involuntarily neglectful.

I push back on this because of the way parts of the fandom try to insinuate that Scott didn't earn the True Alpha status or even something like a positive relationship with his friends. Or that he was given special treatment instead of the bullshit he was put through. It would have been very easy and justified for Canon Scott to have actually hated Derek enough to leave him to his well-deserved fate, and very easy and justified for Canon Scott to have let the Knowledgeable Adults have their way and execute Void Stiles, and very easy and justified to spend the ten episodes after Status Asthmaticus (5x10) waiting for himself to heal and let other people deal with the Doctors, the Beast, and Theo. But he didn't. And it's that choice, not any inherent quality, that makes him the heroic protagonist.

"I don't think you should be the one to talk to him," Scott says once it's just him and Allison in the room – and Theo who is hovering in the doorway, waiting for his next command like a dutiful soldier. Or a guard dog, though with his size, he's more of a lap dog than anything else.

Allison scoffs. Crosses her arms over her chest, then uncrosses then when she realizes it makes her look like a bratty teenage girl. "Why not?"

"He's obviously not in the right state of mind and having someone so... close to his situation probably isn't going to be beneficial in the long run," Scott explains. She hates how he's talking to her. Like a colleague he needs to convince and not a person. Like she's not even his friend.

Her hands twitch at her side, itching for something to hold onto, but she doesn't know what. A long time ago, what feels like a lifetime now, it would've been Scott's hands. Or a bow and arrow. She's past that now. Or at least she thought she was.

"So what? You don't want me to talk to the crazy hunter kid because I'm a crazy hunter kid? Do you think he's gonna convince me to join his army?"

Scott sighs, closes his eyes, and she can see the world resting on his shoulders. How did he get here? How did this happen to him? To them?

"You know that's not what I meant."

And she does. Because he's Scott and he would never think badly of her, not even when she's holding a crossbow in his face. But sometimes she wants him to.

"She's right," Theo says from the doorway. He flinches, just barely, under the weight of their eyes when they turn to look at him. Allison had honestly kind of forgotten he was there. "Not about the her being crazy thing. But about talking to Nolan. She'd be able to get through to him if he knows she used to be in his position."

Allison wants to bite out something about him doing the very same thing to manipulate Scott, but stops herself because he's trying to help. She still wasn't used to him trying to help. By the look on his face, he wasn't either.

They turned to look at Scott and he sighed again, though it was less tired than before. "Okay, fine. You can try."

She nodded, and when Theo caught her eye, he gave her an awkward sort of smile that she didn't return.
