I NEED to rant about Revelations rq

The physical FACT that this game is about Ezio's end of his era and Altaïr's story smashed into our faces at the same time, MOST OF THE GAMEPLAY GOING TOWARDS GETTING THE MEMORIES/MASYAF KEYS so Ezio could learn about his ancestor, and they couldn't even put MALIK IN THE GAME. NOT ONE CAMEO OR MENTION.

He was Altaïr's BEST FRIEND(maybe rocky bc of their rivalry and Altaïr's bullshit) BUT THEY MADE UP AND BECAME CLOSER IM SURE.

It's not even because they were lazy to get his v/a or anything his VA LITERALLY PLAYS PRINCE SULEIMAN AND THEY COULDNT EVEN HAVE HIM REPRISE HIS ROLE??????

UBISOFT I HATE YOU WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST GIVE US OUR MALIK FANSERVICE. Hes like one of the best characters from a single game, such development and depth in a character is almost impossible now. BRING MY MAN BACK.

Allow me to list out why they need to:

He came out as Gay in 2017 (another reason to confirm Altmal you cowards. You know he would be all for it.)

Literally gave life to the character and portrayed the emotions of Malik so fucking well. You already did us dirty in Revelations by not having us see him at all nor mention him more then once. Don’t fucking test the gays and trans Ubisoft.

While also being the voice actor, he was also the face model for Malik. Imagine the potential of seeing the facial expression of rage on Malik in HD (I’m shaking)

He was God's most trusted Arch Angel,but he fell when his Pride took over him and started crossing the Laws of Heaven and neglecting his guardian duties.

He was God's informer,but after getting fed up with the Arch Angel's recklessness and petty behaviour,they faught,and in the process,lost a limb.

For his redemption,he got sent to Earth as a helpless cripple,until a lovely doctor found him and took him in,making sure he has everything he needs.

At first,he was pissy and spiteful,for it was not his fault he ended up like this,and he wanted Divine justice,but after some time with his new paramour,he learnt that there are some people worth living for,and Earth isn't as doomed as it seemed to him,long ago.

Having learnt his lesson,he got offered his Rafiq job again,but he refused,prefering to be a  cripple and learn with his lover,to staying in Heaven as a whole Angel once again and having to see that Novice Arch Angel.

EZIO AUDITORE DA FIRENZE

This Casa Nova angered God because he fell in love with the person he was guarding.

For him,they represented the truest definition of beauty and purity in this world,and he couldn't help it.

He'd often go on Earth just to make sure S/O only has fortune in their life...

Until he got told on by some petty Angel and he was forced on Earth to survive like any human.

He didn't mind much,because it mean he could finally be with his beloved and live happily ever after.

He'd tell them stories about Heaven,how he got assigned to be their guardian angel,and how he became one of the Fallen,only for them to teach him about the mundane world and how to live properly.

In all honesty,he felt blessed to be a human now,having his greatest wish come true.

CONNOR KENWAY/RATONHNHAKÉ:TON

He used to be the most innocent and pure angel in Heaven,until he saw his human suffering injustice,so he decided to take the matters in his own hands,to make things right.

Unfortunately,God wasn't happy with that decision and exiled Connor from Eden.

He was angry and confused,but when he finally met his human,he managed to transform all that rage into positive emotions,and help them on their path to success.

It goes without saying that they fell in love with each other,and decided to get rid of the injustice together,but also live happily.

Having the soul of an eternal,he would tell his S/O ancient stories from Native American tribes about the Moon and their connection with nature,much to his lover's fascination,who'd daydream they were living there.

Soon enough,he'd forget he was once an Angel and enjoy his new short life with his paramour.

EVIE FRYE

She's usually so calm and collected,being the one to assign each human to their guardian angel.

Unfortunately for her,she stumbled across one particular human that piqued her interest,and she started looking after them.

Apparently,they lived in a supposedly haunted house and many around accused them of practicing witchcraft.

This interest of her,however,was easily noticed by her fellow colleagues,which weren't pleased with her slacking off,which got God to give her time off of Heaven,to see what's it like to live the difficult life of humans.

She enjoyed it more than she'd want to admit,and together with her new S/O,they'd do various paranormal activities and rituals,or research for some more,together.

JACOB FRYE

He got WAY too cocky and sarcastic for angel standards,and Heaven couldn't fit his unlimited ego,so he had to be sent off to Earth,as one of the Fallen.

In all reality,that was his goal all along,since he  got bored beyond measure in the Land of Boredom.

Mission completed~!

And even better,as he enjoyed one more night of party,he met the human he used to guard,and for once,he actually did his job at protecting them,which made them look at him in admiration and thankfulness.

It was an obvious love at first sight,both of them being intrigued with the other,and they started courting.

But a more...unusual kind of courting.

"Who pulls the best pranks" kind of pranking,and boy,was he in love.

He thought his greatest achievement was to get kicked out of Eden,but meeting his paramour was definitely much better.

What’s it about?Pocky sounds like something a little girl would name their puppy

So what’s with these chocolate sticks?

When his S/O explains the concept of the said game,he raises an eyebrow,slightly surprised

As his S/O puts the pocky between their lips,he’d sigh at his S/O’s childishness

But would bite the other end of the pocky,with a slight smirk

He’d totally put his hand on the back of his S/O’s head and kiss them passionately

He finally has some free time away from work 

So he decides to go to the calm forest,and read a nice book under a tree,enjoying the chill atmosphere and wind carressing his skin 

And munching absent-minded on a pocky stick 

Unaware that his S/O was jumping around in the trees from the same forest he was in 

But when they notice him,they smirk and giggle mischievously 

Quite and swiftly getting on the branch above him 

And swung upside down,being eye-level to a shocked Malik 

They start to munch on the other end of the pocky 

With an annoyed eye twitch and the ghost of a smile,Malik does the same 

Then kisses his S/O gently

Before flicking their forehead 

“What a Novice you are…”

Day 6: Another Life- Happy Ending for @nyxulricweek

Fandom: Final Fantasy XV

Note: Sometimes one forget how good it feels to be home. AKA Nyx Ulric deserves a happy ending.

Not knowing if any mission he went on would be his last, Raihana hardly got any sleep while Nyx was away. They had been together for years and the anxious feeling in her core never went away. Nyx had currently been away for a little over two weeks and Raihana was starting to worry, but Nyx could handle himself, she knew that.

      Even Nyx felt horrible leaving her by herself so often and when they stumbled upon an open dog adoption in the park on their walk home and a little golden lab managed to escape his makeshift pen and charge at Raihana and Nyx, he took it as a sign and decided that they both needed a little companion in their life. They both knew he was the one and named him Thor, for how he ran like lightning when he was excited.

       And Raihana loved having Thor around, it made the house feel less empty when Nyx was away and his hyperness always pulled a smile on her face and seeing him and Nyx interact together was the cutest thing she had ever seen.

After a tiring day of being forced out of the house by her friends on her day off, Raihana was fast asleep when Nyx came home. He had just gotten back and after checking in, had rushed straight home, hoping he could see his beautiful love and Thor for the first time in weeks even though it was almost 4 a.m. Since Raihana was dead asleep, she wasn’t able to hear a key be inserted into the front door. But little Thor was able too, and he got off his bed and started pawing at the door trying wake his owner up.

Raihana was raised out of her slumber to the sound of her pup pawing at the door. Thinking he had to go out, she got out of bed, throwing a sweatshirt on and opened the bedroom door. What she hadn’t expected was seeing Thor pouncing on Nyx the second he got the door open. All her tiredness faded as she watched their reunion, little Thor excitedly jumping around Nyx, too hyper for him to be able to be petted properly.

Raihana smiled and leaned against the doorway, thankful that Nyx was home safe. Thor finally sat still enough for Nyx to crouch next to him and pet him. Nyx looked up and locked eyes with Raihana and she gave a soft smile.

“Hey handsome. Welcome home.” Her voice was still laden with sleep but her eyes shined with love and it managed to take Nyx’s breath away for a minute.

He slowly got up and walked towards her cupping her face gently in his hands and pulling her in for a sweet kiss, knowing he was home the second her lips touched his. He rested his forehead against hers, slate eyes locking with brown and in a bit of a delayed response replied, “Hey beautiful.” a smile tugging at his lips.

He never really realized how much Raihana, and now Thor, felt like home to him. It wasn’t the walls and the roof, nor was it even the food she said she had prepared for him, no, it was her, and her disheveled hair and the way her feet padded to the kitchen and Thor’s paws clicked after, it was the way she smiled at him and how happy she made him feel, how just walking through the door and seeing the two managed to lift the weight off his shoulder, made him lighter and he will always find a way back to them, back home.

WIP - Nostalgia

I got flat colours in, obviously they are not going to be anything like the final product, I just do quick fills of random colours to get it ready for real colouring.

I’m still not happy with the hand, but I got it as good as I can for now. I think it’s mostly just the pinkie, but at least we’ll see what shading can do to make it look a bit better.

I thought it was for NYE the whole time and when I reread the prompt I had written about 3/4ths of this lol. Anyway i love you girl and thank you so much for being a great friend.

From the inside of his apartment Nyx only had one wish: that his damn television volume could be turned up louder. Even though the sound from the monitor echoed throughout his living space at max volume, the noise was still not loud enough to block out the hollering and cheers from the city above. The sounds of fire crackers and chants filled his home, driving him a bit towards madness with every passing minute.

Normally, he would be out with his comrades, celebrating the ringing in of the New Year, but tonight he just didn’t feel up to it. A night in didn’t sound half bad.

Sipping on his beer and attempting to focus on the news displaying on the television, Nyx was lulled out of his trance when he heard a knock on his door. He sighed to himself, expecting it to be Libertus and Crowe, there to drag his ass out for a night of gallivanting and drinks. What he had not expected was fellow glaive member Rai Alsayf posted in his doorway with a bottle of champagne in one hand with two glasses in the other and a small bad slung over her shoulders.

“Rai,” he questioned, looking her up and down. She was out of her normal glaive attire and dressed in a long gold sequin gown that reached a little past her calves. The strappy heels added a few extra inches bringing herself almost equal in height to Nyx. Her long glossy black hair was straightened and hung down her back and the dress itself was a bit more open in the front than she probably realized. Or perhaps she knew exactly what she was doing.

“It’s rude to stare Ulric,” she laughed, inviting herself inside and trying to hide the red warming her cheeks. She could remember in great detail the last time she visited the glaives apartment. The memories alone caused her face to redden deeper. As she past her colleague, he closed his eyes taking in the intoxicatingly sweet perfume she had dabbed on her neck and wrists earlier in the evening. “What are you doing home? It’s nearly midnight.”

Her words snapping him out of his trance, he shook his head and shut the door, “I just didn’t feel in the mood for festivities tonight. Thought a night in sounded better.”

The woman turned to face him and gave him a look that expressed that she was not buying that explanation for one second. “I know you better than that. What is really going on?”

The glaive sighed and took a seat in one of the chairs he had at the dining table, “It’s not a big deal. Just after everything this year I really wonder if the next will be any better ya know? I mean we do our jobs; we fight the wars, and all for what? When does it end? People are up there cheering that this upcoming year is going to be different. But will it really? Aren’t they all the same?” He didn’t realize how he must sound once he spoke it all aloud but Rai did not judge him for it.

Instead she took a seat across from Nyx, placing her hand delicately over his, “It may not end,” she spoke truthfully, “But that doesn’t mean you don’t make an impact. Children get to grow up, people are able to fall in love, and the elderly can live out their lives peacefully. Now those may only be a couple examples but you make a difference. The whole glaive makes a difference. Just because it’s a new year does not mean things are just going to change. But the hope that they do and the hope that this New Year will be better keeps people going.” He met her eyes and she gave him a soft smile, “At least that’s what I have to tell myself.”

“Thanks” he replied, giving her hand a squeeze.

“Always Nyx,” she whispered, “Now,” she spoke enthusiastically and jumping out of her seat, “I have in my purse two party hats, a few pairs of beaded necklaces and some balloons we need to blow up but otherwise I have brought the party to you Nyx Ulric and we have about five minutes till the new year’s starts so we need to set up.”

Chuckling to himself he replied with a “yes ma’am” and put on every article she brought for him. Once the two had blown up a few balloons and adorned themselves with decorations, they stood in front of the television which was now displaying a live countdown.

“Hey Rai,” Nyx spoke, turning to her, “How did you know I was here anyway?”

The woman smiled a coy smile and looked at him, “Well I originally met up with the team; Crowe, Lib, Pelna, and of course Tredd and Luche were there too. When I noticed you were absent I stole a bottle of champagne and headed here knowing you were most likely sulking at home.”

45 seconds

“Well then why come all the way down here? I’m sure the party you were attending would have been a way better time than spending your new year’s here in my mess of an apartment.”

“You didn’t think I’d let you spend New Year’s alone, did you,” she asked raising a brow, “No one should be alone for any holiday and I figured ringing in the new year with you was the better alternative to having Tredd try and shove his tongue down my throat.”

30 seconds

“So you would rather me shove my tongue down your throat? Is that what I’m understanding?”

The woman rolled her eyes and shoved his shoulder, “You know what I mean. Although after everything we’ve been through this year…”

“Yeah,” he urged her on, moving towards her.

20 seconds

“W-well I just don’t know if ringing in the New Year with you as my first kiss would be such a bad way to start it off.”

Nyx was directly in front of her now, remembering all the days and nights they had spent together but never acted upon. How she drove him absolutely mad but made him the happiest he could be. How soft her skin felt on his and how melodic her laugh was when it filled the room. How she looked past all his flaws and cared for him for who he was.

10 seconds

“That’s crazy,” he started, making the woman’s eyes dart up to his in panic for a brief moment, “I was actually just thinking maybe you could be my new year’s resolution. We ring in the New Year and take it on together.”

“That doesn’t sound half bad Ulric,” Rai smiled, as both turned towards the television and listened for the roars of the city above praising the New Year and beginnings.

“Happy New Year Ulric,” Rai murmured, her lips inches from his.

“Happy New Year Alsayf,” he answered back before pulling her to him and ringing in the New Year right.
