on ghost Thomas and Martha- i'm currently writing my own stuff but i can't stop thinking abt 'em!!! Do you think they miss human warmth? god, humans are sociable creatures, we crave this fucking connection so much and it's SO warm, it's such a,, colossal feeling, it makes such a difference when you haven't had it in a decade. do you think Thomas wonders if bruce's hands are still soft? if they warm up the same way they did when he peppered them with little kisses? Bruce holds people softly, he always did. Ever since he saw calluses and scars on thomas hands (after dealing with cops going after the working girls who live next to his old apartment on crime alley) he's been holding hands like they're delicate treasures. (When he sees Bruce holding baby jay's hands he understands his baby was right) Do you think Martha misses when alfred would silently join Thomas and her in bed? how he would initially feel lightly cold from being outside, working all day, but warm up from the coziness quickly? Do you think she wonders if he still feel cold when he hugs small Bruce, feeling as broken and as lost as his little boy, both of them handling loss in the worst way possible.

do you think they wonder if dick is comfortable and warm in his bed during his first week in the manor, if jason still feel as cold as he did when he slept on his abandoned little "apartment", if tim memoried the breeze that passed throught the usually empty drake manor, if stephanie feels safer under covers.

i think it's the humanity in them missing itself, especially because unfortunately you can't blanket cover up ghosts.

Tbh i think that even if/when the mimecraft series gets cancelled for its 2nd season or whatever, its not going to be the biggest deal for me since theres still the game.

Other series don't have that. If the series ends, thats it. No more content for that franchise. But minecraft already is a game, so you can still enjoy the world anyway. Heck, if its bad theres still those fanmade animations on youtube that have been around for god knows how long.

Additionally we have no idea how long the series is supposed to be. It could be 5 episodes long and it would count as a series. There could be 10 episodes but at 5 mins an episode. There could be 15 episodes at 20 mins an episode.

I dont really see them doing shorts as that feels very similar from youtube animated shorts from the community and i feel like theyd want to stray away from that, and i feel like if those were created they'd be created for the youtube channel. On the other hand, they have concrete proof that those fanmade animations are popular, so they could go for that anyway. We dont know. So its kind of weird to be worrying about the show cancelling for seasons when we dont know if the show will even have seasons.

Also, i feel like a lot of people who have critisised the fact that netflix is taking it also arent excited/expecting the worst anyway, so why does it matter if it gets cancelled for you.

Personally I'm really excited BUT im also the type of person who watches the minecraft youtube channel promotion animations and music animations for fun with a big enjoyment for the default skins. So Im an increadibly niche demographic.

I do hope that it doesnt suck for obvious reasons. However if it does then it'll just be one of those rhings that people meme on for a bit and then forget about. Which i dont like, but thats the way its going to be. People make fun of minecraft anyway

In whole, I do think that mojang has treated minecraft with some decent respect in terms of updates, media and merch, often keeping that more chilled out/cool/optimistic aesthetic in game music and animations, and updates. Merch is a little more difficult tbh because minecraft merch is almost impossible to make graphically pleasing without running out of ideas. However i do think that the way they treat their brand is consistent and leans towards relaxing and bubbly, so id hope they continue this on in the animated series without trying to be abrasive and random. Tbh i liked mcsm and wouldnt mind it being similar to that.

My one wish is that they dont make steve talk though. Oh also that the minecraft live presenters arent there because i dont. Like thejr acting and it would be weird.

yes, I do like them as a couple, I think it is an interesting dynamic and that Tami is good for him honestly, even though they lived completely different lives and crash so many times because of it throughout the last seasons.

fact is Lip won't ever change and will keep making the same kind of mistakes and she will get fed up with it eventually. they'll go different ways, maybe keep a somewhat friendly relationship, and she will get a new partner and Lip will have a Sean kind of relationship with Fred: that kid is the most important thing in his whole life and he's constantly hunted by the fear of drinking again and hurting Fred.

I did end up installing the Toddlers mod, and now we see the result! Baby Ro has become Toddler Ro!

The first thing he did with his newfound mobility was "bugwatch". I thought it was amusing that his bugwatching happened to be right where Frisbee the giant scorpion was walking, and I mean... Yeah, sure. A lot of people would consider her a bug. Entomophobic Zonovo does, at the very least.

Debby has decided to cause more drama with her polyamory trait, and Laurie has to pay for it. I wonder what will happen if Eva really does turn out to be a mime? That would definitely add drama to this story. Poor Brennan and Laurie, though.

We had an eventful raid with Eurros Pusmeberrus, a distant relative of Andrei and Andy's, coming to visit. We managed to capture her, but I don't know if we'll recruit her. She kind of sucks.

We also captured her friend, who was "unwaveringly loyal", but that was of little consequence as we had just finished building a subcore ripscanner. Doere was not a prisoner for very long.

Before Doere was ripscanned, Albina patched her up to avoid her bleeding out, and Henry tagged along to watch. I think the 'work watching' learning desire is my favourite one. Usually, it's cute to imagine a little kid trailing someone and bombarding them with questions about the jobs they're doing, but I'm not sure if it's quite as cute when it's watching someone operate on a prisoner.

Pacifist Vu started a social fight with Irwin, which resulted in her whole arm getting destroyed. Luckily Albina has the 'regrow limb' psycast, and hopefully, Vu will learn not to pick fights with people she has no hope of beating, no matter how empowered she feels wearing stolen liberated armour.

Then we got raided again by more people related to a colonist (and to prisoner Pusmeberrus, who in turn is related to Andrei and Andy). Fortunately, Hazrov is a crack shot and downed enough of them that the others turned tail and fled before they reached us. It made Wendy a bit sad, but I'm sure she'll get over it.

Finally, here's Andy being better at drawing dinosaurs than I could ever hope to be.
