So uh, in honor of today's episode, I finally drew Solar lmao 💀 (will make a digital version later)

Kinda messed around with making my own design 'cause I like designing characters and especially outfits (all at once my fav and least fav part of drawing tbh, fav 'cause I love drawing clothes (I wanted to be a fashion designer as a kid actually) but least fav 'cause I gotta cover all the fun anatomy I like spending time on, tho I didn't spend as much time on it this time since I knew it was gonna be covered 😭). Also I like the apron some people (namely @/witchysolfan) draw him in and I've read fics mentioning him wearing an apron so it's canon in my head XD.

Very rough sketches of the VR vs @/ayyy-imma-ninja's design 'cause I wanted to wrap my head around those ones first before attempting my own

Might try to take more colour inspiration from the VR model/more VR accurate thumbnail design? Idk, we'll see. I did legitimately think Meg's design was canon tho lol so when I saw Solar's actual model I was like wait a minute who the fuck is that??? (I never watched any episodes outside of the very first one several years ago till a few days ago, so I mainly just know stuff about the show from people talking about it and the more canon compliant parts of fics, so I've only ever seen fanart of Meg's design lol)

Also I kept drawing his pants after most of the rest of his clothes and it was making me laugh. My brother told me to give him some damn pants please XD

While the Break A Leg!Boys can be overwhelming, their shows are (will hopefully eventually be) a little more manageable then say the full packed rock concerts the Glamrocks pull off. I’m just in love with the idea of these boys eventually learning how to interact with kids with disabilities. Give me Moon vibing with a autistic volunteer whose hyper fixation happens to be villains and pulls of being an amazing antagonist with minion. Sun having a brave knight in a wheelchair defend him against the terrifying terrible dragon.

I just remembered all my older AUs. I haven't talked about them. Because well. They're not TSAMS. They're just standard security breach DCA. I've already gone on little tirades about these guys. And technically you're supposed to find out more about them in the RBB adventures of the cube. But since no one's interested in that, perhaps you guys would like if I just went on a tirade.

mechanical medic AU- story focused.

(Not in poll, But one of my lesser known AUs)

Ralph the Repair Dragon works as a moving parts and service. But is haunted by 3 fragmented souls of mechanics that died in the Plex. Sun n Moon struggle to get the medical mechanic animatronic to leave them alone.

Purrfect Thief- story focused.

you are a shape-shifting cat. You work with The gang Lord Eclipse but live as a house cat with the detectives Sun and Moon. You are an informant with the spiders web. A info company owned by DJ. Life has been simple and happy. But on the horizon a pack of dogs is ready to ruin that simple life.

Saving Waves- story focused

a sun n moon mer story. Were sun n moon were once in our lab/mer fighting facility. They are saved by a rehab facility and have to learn how to be normal Mer again. Also following the other side of the family. Who are trying to get pesky humans to stay out of their wild waters.

Warehouse AU- story / ask focused.

after the fire story were the dca, Freddy, DJ, foxy and Bonnie are moved to a big werehouse (owned by a y/n) is modified into a mini Plex (honestly more like a side road arcade that's bigger). And the dca has to relearn how to function with the band.

Rusty wheels- ask focused (lots of lore though)

a apocalypse au were a nanite Afton virus infects the world. It's cyberpunk with a rustic feel. Y/N has a big truck sized motorcycle thing and finds sun n moon. And drags them in their attempts of adventure and survival.

Cryptid eater- story / ask focus.

a Sun and Moon are Hunters story but you are a creature that eats vampires and werewolves and things like such. And the story takes place with you trying to convince them that you're on their side.

Warehouse Daycare- ask focused

a version of the warehouse AU where it's only sun n moon. The werehouse is smaller and they grow a closer relationship with y/n and a emotional support cat.

Stop you silly siren- ask focused

suns a tired Pirate. moons a silly siren. Eclipse is an angry sea captain. Popped in my head. want to see were it leads.

Creature dca- I made it for fun.

a random look for sun n moon. Has flip floped between being and basic non animatronic form to fey creatures that deal with changelings and guardian God entities.

Star foolery- a word for silly situations with no lore ties.

basic place for me to draw the dca in different situations. no major story but has lore. does occur during after and before in dca history

I enjoy drawing horns-and-frills the most, they're so beasty~ I also really like their anatomy. Designing them was so fun! Making them into a mer was sooo much fun too hehe

Their jaws and tongue anatomy WAS SO FUN TO MAKE, YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!! I love how on board everyone was with it too pdjddjfh. And of course their big claws on their feet and their tail are very dear to me.

I love that I've been able to so seamlessly combine my love for creature design/anatomy with the dca! I have to give a big shout-out and thanks to @naffeclipse for making such beautiful stories with such wonderful beasts in them. Her writing is the reason why these designs exist in the first place ❤️

I think I'm the most proud of the ferrofluid boys. I feel it's a solid design and concept. Also it's very fun to explore the possibilities that present themselves when you have a semi-liquid based character. You can shape them however you want! They're liquid, like a cat!

Some fun little things about the ferrofluid boys: (it gets a little gory btw, so light gore warning for that!)

Their skin/surface looks a lot like oil spill, deep black with swirls of colors, mainly red and blue (and yes the colors actually swirl around, the patterns move and shift). The colors are mostly concentratet around their rays, claws and back spikes.

I imagine them being fully "liquid" except for a skeleton holding them up, so their organs and muscles are all the same substance. The skeleton is very thin and jagged. When they're very weak or very hurt you can see their sharp vertebrae sticking out of their back and the goop in their chest drips over and out of their ribs. Also their spikes shrink as they grow weaker, they need energy to hold their shape.

I want to draw the door people as the subway masters from pokemon but since you don't have any idea on who these guys are I've decided to phrase it in dca terms

who would be more like Sun HW2 and who would be more like. erm. I guess Moon. SB ? Ingo is hard to describ.e in DCA terms. he's """calm"""" but in terms of his facial expression and I think body language meanwhile his voice is LOUD and he gets happier over more things than Emmet (HW2 Sun personality) does

This is actually really difficult because Michael and Helen are very similar in a lot of ways, plus it's harder for me to differentiate the two considering I am yet to meet Helen Distortion in my relisten of TMA. So it has been awhile since I last properly saw Helen

I keep wanting to go "Michael's colours are better for Sun, and Helen's fanon colours are better for Moon" then reminding myself that that's entirely irrelevent, this is about your subway guys. Uhhhhh. UHHHHHHHHH

I'm sorry, this is so hard to answer. I keep finding reasons why Helen would be better for Ingo, then finding reasons why Helen would be better for Emmet. I don't know your blorbos well enough for this. So here's some help if you still want to choose:

- Helen generally expresses happiness over things more frequently than Michael would. She's often having a lot of fun and taking enjoyment from things

- Michael is probably louder than Helen if my memory serves me right, he laughs a lot

- Michael is more aggressive than Helen. Her whole deal is being symbolic of a fake friend, so she doesn't get much out of... stabbing... her friends

- I'm very hesitant to say this because I haven't seen Helen in awhile, but I think she's more... judgemental than Michael? I need to relisten to my wife. Again, symbolic of a fake friend, she's... unfriendly-friendly

Excuse me if that's unhelpful :sob: if I stopped thinking about your subway blorbos and had to choose someone for HW2 Sun specifically, I think I'd choose Helen, and give Michael to SB Moon. I've compared Michael to SB Moon in the past

If you have not heard, my drawing tablet has croaked yet again. (Do not buy from Huion lol). However, I dug up my old computer so I should be able to continue doing digital works.

In the meantime, I'm messing around with beads! These are sooo fun. I want to eventually get a shop set up but for now I'm just experimenting. Next is drink coasters which should be exciting! I'm also working on two DCA paintings and a cosplay 👀

I'll continue providing updates as I work on getting a better space set up and on what I'm making so stay tuned lol.

I’m still cooking my dca headcanons tbh, I have a fanfic idea bouncing around my skull but idk if anyone would actually want to read it, and I’ve never written fanfic before. If you want to learn more, please send an ask cause I’d love to yap about it :3.

Fun facts about me:

I grew up on Kauai (the Hawaiian island)

I keep my hair pink irl (it’s been pink for 5 years now with only a few weeks going back to nonpink before I get it repinked)

I used to have a pet axolotl named Alexander Jacob Thunderberkin Kippensquire, or Kip for short (I had to rehome him when I left for college)

I had a retinal detachment in my left eye when I was 16 which could have left me blind if I didn’t get emergency surgery on Oahu (I had to fly to a different island) . When I woke up after surgery, my mom asked me how I was and I told her “I’m all right now!” When I was still recovering from surgery I had to keep my left eye covered (for about a year) so I put a winking eyelash embroidery sticker over my left glasses lens and medical tape on the inside. Somehow being monocular made it easier to draw (but not to walk, cause no depth perception!) so I really improved my art in that year. I ended up getting the artist award in my graduating class in high school and I used my experience to write a great college entrance essay so some good did come out of it. To this day my peripheral vision in my left eye is bad and I frequently get waves of floaters which block out my vision in that eye. Also now my left pupil is smaller than the right one so I have to let any doctors know that my eyes are just like that and I don’t have a concussion.

I am a direct descendent to one of the more famous taxidermists (they are named on the Wikipedia taxidermy page), they did a lot of taxidermy for museums and also did sculptures and statuettes of animals. Some of their work is still on display at the Denver museum of natural history, and there are statuettes that are family heirlooms (we have one of a leopard on the hunt)

also i am working on that compilation thing and i think the reason i don't care so much for some of these fics so more is the fact that the mcs feel more like someone that things 'happen to' then someone who is guiding the story

this works well for like. fcubed for example where the mc just crash-landed on an alien planet. but for a stardew fic like vapor it really doesn't make sense. like avele moved to a farm. the story is in his perspective. somehow the start still makes it feel like he doesn't have a choice over any of these things and that he's being dragged along in contrast to wyn in something in the water where the prologue i set up for it gives you much more insight and just feels better overall

also i think i've developed my writing style a lot over the last few years which makes older fics feel just a bit skewed

i do really like how i wrote the yandere perspectives in vapor - i think they come across very well and were definitely a key point in developing my writing further. like i think i'd separate my writing in stages. rambling below the cut

there's my two discontinued obey me fics - that was me getting back into writing. they were fun and cute and self-indulgent and i liked writing them but i probably wouldn't write something in a similar style again

then there's miss me which is kind of a jumping off point for me style-wise, which i burned myself off on by focusing on drawing for the mc for, but lead to little panther and vapor. i put those two in the same category because that's where i introduce yandere characters and think i grew while i was writing (especially as i started tumblr around the same time) and wrote way too long oc sheets for. like. i think they were around at least 5k words each? it was. a time.

and then i focused on drabbles for a while, but after that came fcubed. and fcubed gets a category all on it's own

i started it when i had a great big Health Event that changed. a lot of how i look at the world and how i am physically able to interact with it. i won't get into details but functionally between the Health Issue and the Coming to Terms i was out of it for like. honestly probably more than a year. i decided my major wasn't for me and dropped college and moved pretty far shortly after that and a lot of life then was detaching myself so i wouldn't have to Come to Terms

fcubed was actually, a good portion of it, written in a haze of being bedbound after said Health Event. i think around the first ten chapters? were written in like two - three weeks after but before i realized that there would be lasting issues from the Health Event. however much i posted of it before i took like a year long break on it.

and the thing with fcubed is that it expanded my horizons a lot with writing. you'll notice if you've read some of these older fics that they were a lot more guided by the source material - i was too scared to stray very much from in game scenes, though i had tried my hand at it in vapor. with the source material for fcubed being subnautica, it was. a lot like literally throwing myself in the deep end. the source material is literally an open ocean. i had to make the scenes myself, besides a few key events and some audio from like logs the player recovers

after that like month or so of fcubed i more or less dropped off the face of the earth for like, six months, i think. towards the end of that time is when we moved and i think that's when i started checking tumblr again. i had been working on fics in that time, but i hadn't posted anything - i try not to post fics unless i have at least three chapters done to make sure they're Established because i have ideas i don't go through with pretty often. i have a few sitting in my drafts that are just like one chapter stories - looking at you genshin impact, dca, and our life fics

i posted something in the water and i think that was very... cathartic for me? the prologue was about leaving and just getting away and being unbound. and i liked that a lot. you'll see that as a theme in my stories honestly

then there was rip and tear and embracing what's around you - i'd say that those are in the same category as something in the water. they're both shorter at the moment, though they do both have almost-done chapters in the drafts. these two actually aren't yandere fics - everything else above this besides miss me, the obey me fics, and fcubed (though that one has some yandere undertones) are. i'm not actually entirely positive why rip and tear isn't? i think i was planning to go with undertones again but not full yandere, but i know what's around you isn't because that one's more lighthearted. it is ohshc after all

and then, around the start of this year, i started vault. and i really, really like vault conceptually. like. i love borderlands so much and i've always wanted to see more fics for it but somehow never thought to write for it

plus i could literally just play borderlands and call it research. i have almost a full chapter in the drafts for that one too - i need to get back to working on it, i just got distracted by a drop of silver in a sky of stars. i think my current writing style, which i'm really happy with, shows in these two the most. you can definitely tell a difference compared to my earlier fics

both of these two are probably my current focuses, though that might change after i finish going through all my fics. the intro i have written for fawn response is just so good it is Tempting Me

none of this mentions any work i've done on unposted fics (again, all less than three chapters), but trust me there are. many. too many. an exorbitant amount. i'll get around to them eventually

It’s been like two weeks since I have fallen for the DCA and I have had a very fun time seeing fanart, watching animations and such so I also want to share my grain of sand with this mountain!

It is my thoughts and things I have noticed about their design!

None of these pictures are mine BUT I’ll add credits and the original post where they came from.

Also!! If I make some mistakes, such as grammar mistakes or fnaf knowledge mistakes; feel free to correct me!

I refer to the DCA as he/him. Hope that’s fine!

This was the first picture I studied when I decided I wanted to learn how to draw the DCA.

All the annotations are made by me on my tablet. Feel free to open the image on a new window to read everything or if you just don’t feel like it, I’ll just comment on what I think is more interesting:

He has 9 rays.

There’s a gradient on top of his hip. (kinda of an ecchi though but what if his whole pelvis area is the same brown color?)

All animatronics have 4 fingers but he HAS 5 (I think only Springtrap and its alternative versions have 5 fingers)

All animatronics have 2 joints on their fingers but DCA has 3. Possible to make more natural, human movements. (I have heard of this theory that he can use Sign Language to communicate with deaf children so that could be a reason).

The head order is as follows (side view): Face, Metal, Rays, Metal. (this knowledge is cool to know as an artist)

The arms have muscle shapes. He DOESN’T have stick arms.

The palms also have a muscle shape.

He has what seems like lids that can be opened. One on each of his arms and one on each of his forearms. (maybe for easy access for maintenance purposes?)

There’s one single yellow cable sticking out under each of his armpits.

Again, I’ll just write the most interesting parts (in my opinion).

There’s a Moon symbol on the left side at the back of his head. There’s also something underneath it but I can’t recognize what it is.

There seems to be another symbol/mark at the bottom of his head but I can’t see what it is clearly.

Again, the cute gradient. It seems he only has gradients on his hip and on his rays.

For some reason, the metal plaque at the back of his head has an irregular shape. What would look like a dodecagon (a 12-sided polygon), It only has 11 sides. Also, worth mentioning, the sides are not equal in length. So weird.

There’s an elevation around the hook. It’s not just the back and then the hole where the hook is.

This isn’t a proper picture for this but after watching the “flying” animation of Moon in the game, it seems the hook doesn’t lean forward or backward when his body moves. It stays fixed in a central position.

He has dirt all over his face. (Probably nobody from the staff has bothered to clean him up in a long time).

ALSO. I have never seen anyone comment on this but he has what seems like a wooden pattern on his upper arm. (Maybe the casing of that color is actually made of wood and it has been varnished. That’s why it looks glossy. But that’s just a theory of mine. Who knows.)

There’s an inner circle in the center of his eyes. I still need to think about what it could mean but it’s still an interesting fact nonetheless.

This is just a small design detail I have seen many artists skip: The INWARD view of his shoes has a moon design while the OUTWARD view has a star design. It’s not just moons!

There seem to be dirt on his feet and legs too despite them being almost covered by his clothing. Poor guy.

I think I have made the post long enough but I still have some more thoughts to share.

Spooky is an amazing person. Hands down. She is always willing to listen to whatever crazy rambles pop up. I first interacted with Spooky when I scared her by suddenly disconnecting from a call and I apologized for spooking Spooky lol. Her art is just to die for and I always feel supported when I talk to her. She’s always there to pick someone up if they’re feeling down. Oh, and Spooky is the one who drew my amazing profile picture!

They are slowly becoming the parent of the group, I swear. Suo is always there to make sure you’re taking care of yourself and to help you if you’re having a problem. They are so full of love and always willing to share it! If you say hi, good chances are Suo is there to greet you with love! Suo is also such an amazing artist who loves to make drawings for others. Their style is so pleasing and shaped, seriously.

Oh boy, I have so much to say about Ari and how awesome they are. A coder, an artist, a great voice for reading; I could go on. Ari is another person who is always making sure we take care of ourselves, from making sure we drink water to getting enough sleep. Ari is also a very hard worker, and is so talented! They were also kind enough to explain a bit to me about how coding works, which is so nice of them! Ari deserves all the love, just like everyone else here lol.

I will never stop giving Kay the praise she deserves! Kay’s art and creativity is just off the walls, and they are such an awesome person! Kay is so much fun to talk to. Kay is another really kind person, too. I love interacting with them and just overall feel relaxed when we’re chatting. I think Kay is one of the first people I really bonded with in the DCA fandom along with some others on this list.

Gah, Lily is so so incredible! She was one of the first people I started following for DCA stuff. Lily is so cool and stunning, I love talking to her so much. Lily is both an amazing artist and an amazing writer. I could probably write a 5-page essay on how much I love her and her work. Lily is also great at giving us little clues to solve mysteries around CCRT, and just out of nowhere she’ll drop lore for us to unravel and I love it! It’s always a good time when Lily is around and just- gah she’s so cool!

Spacie is totally feral in a good way, honestly. Talking with them is an adventure that I love. I think they pretty much have everyone beat in the humor department and I will die on that hill, sorry. You’ll never be bored when you’re talking to them, and who can forget how they started the great Sunasspocolypse? I’m so glad they did, too, cause that’s part of how I found them on tumblr lol. Spacie’s art, OCs, ideas; they’re all stunning and I love them! Not to mention their singing voice cause damn, Spacie has the voice of an angel!

Jackie is the server baby, all praise the server baby! She is a bit of a chaotic gremlin, but in an endearing way! Her art style is adorable and I stand by it. Jackie is great at spreading cheer and positivity and I swear things would be so different without her.

Ok!! So Polaris

Adding this right here as well

As I mentioned before, they ocuppied what would have been the role of the Y/N (fun fact, they were going to be the Y/N of the au, but became an OC instead heh), working with Sun and Moon and getting close to them, until one day after their shift, they're running late and, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, happen to catch Vanny doing smth, who in turn kills them, but isn't able to get rid of the body in time

Bc their death was really traumatic and they weren't ready to move on, they accidentally and unknowingly possessed a new animatronic body that was in development and basically got stuck that way, bc, when they woke up, they couldn't recall much of anything, memories a mess, so they no longer knew who they were and just kinda went along with stuff

Not very long after Polaris' death, a new animatronic, Star, is introduced as an assistant and extra pair of hands for the daycare

Sun and Moon aren't thrilled, as they're still mourning and it feels like they are replacing their friend

So they act distant, their relationship being purely professional

I imagine Star would struggle with some stuff that is second nature to humans, but not even close to that to animatronics, getting restless at night, especially at first, bc of being unable to/or just not sleeping (and also anxious bc, for some reason, they never feel entirely safe in the Pizzaplex) and at some point even panicking bc they feel like they can't breathe

I imagine that, probs the first night, Sun and Moon would suggest drawing as a way for them to distract themselves and leave it at that

So, they end up drawing those weird... memories??? maybe to try to figure out what they mean, or a pattern or, unconsciously, just to try to find some sort of closure

Sun and Moon would mostly keep to themselves, but maybe one day they'll notice that some of the stuff they're drawing... looks familiar... but how could they...?

They'd pay more attention to them after that

Still feeling iffy abt them and now having some new found questions, and they'd start to notice more things that they didn't really pay much attention to before, but that don't make much sense, like stuff they might say or be familiar with

I imagine that, eventually, they'd start talking abt it and Sun and Moon would probably figure it out first (still doubtful however)

Eventually, all three would realize what happened (partly) and Polar would remember who they are, at least more so than before, memories still kinda fussy

After they have had time to come to terms with all this and become closer again, being on more stable ground so to say, a Y/N would actually be introduced bc of complaints from the parents of the lack of an actual human person watching over their kids

Polar's relationship with them would be kinda complicated

They would be nice to them and mean it, Y/N is a good person afterall and they like them, but sometimes they'd also need to step away for a min or two bc of it all becoming too much of a reminder of themselves and all that happened

They couldn't help but worry abt Y/N either bc, what if they also end up getting murdered? They aren't safe here

At first, Sun, Moon and Polar would agree not to tell Y/N anything, keeping it to themselves, but eventually, after they get closer and enough trust is built, they'd actually talk to them abt it

This is mostly it! Security Breach like events would most likely take place, leading to the Plex burning down and the group getting out

Also, I imagine that their more calm and chill energy contrasts with the DCA's more energetic and/or chaotic one (still unsure if Sun and Moon would be together or separate for this)
