Been rotating some characters and shows I like around in my brain, but something went wrong and now some wires crossed in unfortunate ways. I’ve been trying to get back into the drawing mood, but considering there is now a jumbled mess of fandoms and characters in my head now, be warned I may end up sharing something unfortunate
Details are in the tags here if you’re curious, just be warned it’s messy…
#It’s like… if you threw breakfast and dessert ingredients into a crock pot I guess?#in case anyone’s reading this and want an idea of what’s gone wrong just start with that roxas and sora au thing from before#now take that lil au of Roxas having to travel and adventure to find Sora and take away the TTeens#obviously Roxas can’t fly the gummi ship on his own due to a lack of smiles and reason to smile and start adding bad ideas#bad idea 1: maybe that random space loving ghost kid would like to take a vacation on a sorta kinda space ship?#bad idea 2: that randy over there sure is weird but also weirdly capable? Mayhaps capable enough to be the hero he needs right now?#bad idea 3: aliens. Space adjacent is cool and all but wouldn’t it be fun if there were aliens? And why not a contained package?#said package turns out to be a 10 year old though so no everyone’s arguing. Oh well moving on. Adventure awaits#most recently those thoughts devolved and added Kevin Levin into the mix and somehow made things worse but better#there are now 2 children and 3 teens and all of them distinctly not human and yet very much human and the children are fighting#also the idea of each of them slowly finding out about each other in increasingly horrible ways#even better is if the first is Danny very visibly being impaled and just taking a picture and walking through the blade#like oh my god he just got impaled and his first instinct is to get a visual record and phase through the problem!#the more they go through the worse it gets before suddenly another kid is being babysat and has to wonder wtf is going on#’he’s literally dead and yet I’M the freak?’ ‘Whaaat no! Nooo who said anything about freaks? You’re perfect! You’re fine! Sweet child!’#just a lil hissy and volatile in a group of volatile kids throwing hissy fits occasionally#anyway like I said some wires were crossed in a horrible way <3#I know there isn’t art of it yet but I’m still putting this on my art blog cuz if I do make art it’d be relevant here

[slides into your ask box like a very suave ninja]
i see you doing thoughts on mating seasons [eye emojis] how about... Bay Leo in mating season?<3
hmmm... a very suave ninja you say? is he wearing blue perhaps?
i... might have a few ideas for bay leo's mating season. maybe a couple of thoughts. some headcanons, you might say
as always, yadda yadda, lil sexy, spice emoji 🌶️
The thing about Leo is, he is not used to doing things for himself. Everything he does, every skill he learns, is for his family, for his city. For you. Even the things he enjoys doing, he does because he knows they are an outlet that will help him control himself. It’s… something he is working on. So when he is unusually shy while asking you to share his mating season with him, you know that he is asking for himself. That in itself is everything.
He stutters a bit as he walks you through what to expect during his time. It’s adorable. To him, though, this is the most intimate thing he could ask of you. Mating season is when he struggles the most with the loss of his iron control, when he’s at his most vulnerable. Asking you to share this time with him is the strongest way he knows to tell you that he loves you. He’s nervous, okay, don’t tease him!
Leo’s season comes on slowly, so gradually it’s barely noticeable. You find it in the little details. The way he scents you for longer than normal when he hugs you hello, beak nuzzling into your hair. The way he stands closer to you, especially when his brothers approach. The way his hand slides lower on your back as he escorts you to the lair exit. It gives you more time to prepare, something he is very grateful for.
The other thing about Leo is, once he decides something is his, it’s his. Man is incredibly possessive. This manifests in a unique way during his season. He makes you a nest. It is very soft and cozy and you are not allowed to leave it unless you need to use the facilities. For the entire duration of his season. There’s no need for you to brave the outer world and all the people out there. That’s what he’s for. (He got into an argument with Raph about this once. Once. Raph never brings it up again.)
At the beginning of his season Leo is very sensual in his lovemaking. He is all slow, smooth thrusts as he holds you close and buries his head in your neck. He can spend hours just making out with you while you finger each other. It gets a little more intense each time. As Leo realizes that you’re enjoying yourself, he lets go a little more and more until both of you are absolutely feral.
He never forgets your preferences in favor of his own pleasure though, not even deep in his season when he’s more instinct than anything else. Many of your preferences are in line with his own anyway. He always, always makes sure that you finish at least once first. Sometimes that means he has to beg you to come while he holds off on his own orgasm.
He is generally a quiet lover. However, to both of your surprise, you find he likes to talk when it’s his season. He likes to talk a lot. The things he says are… well. He might not be in complete control of himself, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be in control of you. Rather than manhandling you, he likes to sit back and tell you what he wants you to do. Of course, if you misbehave all bets are off. You will be doing whatever he wants either way. He will also say absolutely filthy things when he’s deep inside you. You find that you enjoy being called a little slut as long as you are Leo’s little slut.
As his season tapers off, he becomes increasingly affectionate. He returns to the smooth thrusts that light a slow fire in the both of you. He’ll spend a lot more time cuddling with you, beak buried in whatever body part of yours is closest. He might sleepily mutter about how happy he is that you smell like him. Sometimes he will just run his hands over you, watching them travel over your skin as if he can’t believe that he is allowed this, that you will let him have everything and more if he asks.
Once his mating season is over, Leo becomes a little bashful. He gets a bit of a guilt complex about every bruise and mark on you, and he’ll cringe remembering some of the things he said. He requires assurance that you are okay, that you haven’t been scared off by his… more primal instincts. You will have to hang out at the lair for a few extra days, because he gets anxious when he doesn’t know exactly where you are. He will make sure to carefully care for each bruise until it’s gone.

Them reacting to you gifting them something for Valentine's day
characters: Seele / Bronya x gn!reader (separate)
warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: Do me a Favor and pretend it’s still Valentine's Day, okay? I was busy yesterday and only got the idea to write something for it after I saw @genshingorlsrevengeance post.
Also no Natasha, bc I’m not going to lie, I couldn’t think of what to write for her…
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Seele
The most difficult part about handing Seele her gift was finding her in the first place. With how many tasks and missions she had to run through, getting a hold of her turned out to be more difficult than you had envisioned, as whenever you arrived at her last known location, she had already booked it to somewhere else.
When you finally caught up to Seele however, you could hear her from what felt like a mile away, arguing with a couple of stubborn vagrants only for it to escalate into a full on clash as you got nearer. Once you got to see her however, the two other combatants were laying on the ground already, one of them groaning in pain as the other seemed to have been knocked out for a while.
“Get lost while you can- Oh it’s you”, Seele spat as she turned around in a moment's notice, her scythe drawn and pointed at the perceived enemy, only for her to quickly lower it once she realized who stood before her.
“Ah, my bad. You caught me off-guard… Did something happen for you to be looking for me?”, she asked as a hint of worry made its way onto her face, only for her eyes to widen in surprise when she noticed the small pouch in your hand.
“N-no”, you stammered out, still somewhat in shock from having her weapon pointed at your face before coughing in hopes it would lessen the chances of your voice cracking again and continuing.
“Anyway, happy Valentine's Day”, you handed her the chocolate, Seele’s hand automatically reaching out to accept it as her cheeks grew slightly red, balling her other hand into a fist and putting it in front of her mouth to nervously cough into it while at the same time trying to cover the lower half of her face.
“I, umm… I didn’t think you’d- I’m sorry, I’m not very good at this”, she managed to say out loud, looking away slightly for a few seconds before putting down her hand and looking you in the eyes once again. “Thanks.”
“...Ahem. Where were we?”, Seele eventually proclaimed as she turned around to the two vagrants once again, only to start looking around hurriedly when they were nowhere to be found.
“Quick, they have to be nearby, help me find them!”
Tumblr media
Bronya
From the moment she opened her eyes, Bronya was reminded of what made today so special, your work assured it, after all. The first of your letters was placed on her bedside table, another one fell out when she opened her closet, and the last one she found once she pulled open the top drawer of her desk, the envelope kept shut by the wax-seal she had grown all too familiar with since getting to know you.
Each of them were filled with enough encouraging and loving words to make even a heart of stone melt, and yet you were nowhere to be seen. As the day dragged on, with Bronya re-reading your words in between each of the dozens of audiences she went through, having to hide the smile appearing on her face whenever she thought about them in the middle of listening to her people’s troubles and worries more than once, she increasingly found herself yearning to see you. And yet, you were nowhere to be seen.
When she finally finished work, the sun was already starting to set, the amount of people in the room slowly dwindling down until the only people other than her present were two silvermane-guards standing on each side of the entrance. Only for that to change as well when another voice rang through the hall.
“Would you be so kind and leave the two of us alone for a while?”
By the time Bronya looked up, the two guards were well on their way through the door, and you were coming closer and closer before eventually stopping just a few feet away from the stairs leading up to her desk, a bouquet of Flowers in your hands as you gave her the smile she had missed the entire day.
And before Bronya knew it, she was on her feet and moving towards you as well.
“I’m sorry it took me so long. The Astral Express was nice enough to allow me to go on a small day trip with them”, you apologized before presenting her your gift, the various kinds of flowers she had never seen on Belobog before explaining your motive for leaving better than any words could have done.
“Happy Valentine’s day”, you managed to speak before Bronya gave you an unexpected hug, one you quickly returned.
The two of you remained that way until there was a sudden knock on the door, causing the Supreme Guardian to return to her regular posture in the span of a nanosecond before calling on the person on the other side to enter. Not without whispering a few more words to you however.
“Thank you.”

A list of Indigo Disk Revisions
Typed down a rough batch of ideas, which I won't be able to put into complete writing or drawing, but can't stop imagining (will keep editing and adding stuff as some thoughts are some incomplete).
Made a pretty long list lol so get some snacks ready if you have time to spare. Disclaimer: did this just for fun, bunch of indulgent thoughts. Indigo Disk is a whole lots of fun, but I think its potential could have been explored more.
Each time you beat the elite four, there is a brief flashback of them interacting with each other and Kieran.
Lacey = bumps into kieran while organizing stuff at the League Club Room, Kieran orders her to make sure that everyone follows the new rules and stuff since he became president.
Amarys = notices Kieran's change and asks if he is okay, to which he replies coldly with "yeah, I'm fine." She states his sister's concern, but he brushes off with a cold shrug.
Crispin = asks kieran if he wants to hang out at the cafeteria, but kieran declines, saying he has stuff to do. Students pass by them, whispering about Kieran.
Drayton = congratulates Kieran for beating him, but he goes up to and him says: "Was that all you really got, ex-champion?"
You get to meet Briar in a small class event (invited by her), and there she discusses terastal energy and its history. She's not only a history techer but also the one in charge for assigning students to test their strengths with terastalization.
As you progess, you can visit a lab room in blueberry academy where you can find Briar's research, books, documents about terapagos, Heath, and such.
Once the second elite four is defeated, Briar asks you to come, taking notice of your rumored streak of success. She begins to recount her time at blueberry academy and her travels across different regions before introducing the origin of the terastal energy orb as a whole and Terapagos. At some point, she gives you a reason why she wanted to be a teacher, part of it is her interest in the terastal phemenon and its connection between Unova and Paldea, the other is to bring the truth through education (her family name and reputation became infamous and she is determined to bring the facts to the surface - hence the publication later on). She has some grudge against the public for that and becomes increasingly hellbent as we would soon encounter the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
After beating the last elite four, Briar invites you once more to the lab room and divulges a secret with you - she has the indigo disk (entrusted by Geeta who recieved it from the OTHER PROF who bailed out from the research years ago, having no need for its use any longer even from a remote distance) and mentions a mission that you are formally invited to, but she would only explain everything about it after you defeat Kieran.
She briefly explains about The Indigo Disk; it is not just some mere storage item but a special object imbued with the power/properties of Terapagos that enable the activation of the elevator to the lower level of the area zero. That disk was made by Sada/Turo but the other parent took off with it in hopes of diverting the obsessed prof from their grand project, but failed anyways. (this idea is half-baked tbh but still put it there cause i like it)
Then Carmine and others meet you, asking what Briar told you about. You explained to them until midway, Kieran comes and does the thing where he expects you to battle him soon and leaves, etc.
Briar observes the championship battle match alongside Carmine.
Afterwards, issues emerge in Terrarium - the terastal core thing begins to destabilize or something (it reacts to terapagos' awakening)... Overgrown crystals slowly take over, causing people/wild pokemon to evacuate. Cyrano requests an emergency meeting with the Elite Four, Kieran, us and Carmine. Briar joins also.
We met additional support, consisting of Geeta and the other parent (who also introduce themself). They report that there is an influx of paradox mons flying out of Area Zero due to a strange phenomenon (gradual awakening of terapagos). After the meeting, you recieve a call from Nemona, Penny, Arven and Clavell who all wanted to check in with you.
Briar proceeds to delve into mission(just like in game) of exploring the deeper level of area zero and investigate the source at hand. She invites the Elite Four, but they all declined due to the reason of attending to their duties and keep watch over the terraium dome, thus leading to the formation of the same group in the game.
Before they leave, they all give you some parting words - advice, encouragement - you name it.
Once you arrive at Area Zero, you will meet Geeta and the other parent. They explained that Terapagos' awakening is partly caused by various factors - ecological ones mainly the increased population of the paradox mon (time machine), seismic activity, Glimmora eating off the crystals (the protective covering) and arrival of people (Heath, the profs, and now us). You will then engage in some double battles with the squad as you encounter some paradox mons - including the new ones - and continue your descent down to the deepest level of A0.
Along the way, Geeta recalls her venture to area zero years ago when she went to check in with the prof's research. She does not remember all the details but remembers finding and treating an injured Glimmora (her own), before falling into a trance of sorts and seeing someone, which she informed the Prof about. She also answers somewhat the mystery of the plate and symbols - there was once a a small civilization, "theorized" to be survivors of the expeditions during the age of exploration who chose to remain there. The steel plate was made likely to record their presence and memories of the empire they long served (landmarks/settlements aka the towns) as a we-were-here or a warning message for those who would come by it in the distant future (again, half-baked idea but wanted to put this out there). Additionally, the four symbols may have been reference points of the four seals (based on the theories on youtube).
The other parent then asks you about Arven after hearing about your part in saving Paldea and admits their fault and regret for abandoning him. More dialogue ensues (you, Kieran, Carmine, etc). Carmine mostly talks to you, asking you about area zero and your life at Paldea.
When you go to the area where the crystalized tree stands-you and Briar undergo a trance and meet Terapagos (?). It reacts at Briar due to her resemblances with Heath as well as you for holding the indigo disk (yes you can eject it rather than it being stuck in the machine); it needs the indigo disk to recover parts of its power. Once both of you recover, others come along and asked what happened out of concern. This only fueled her ambition to seek out terapagos.
Briar forces you to keep going despite going against the guidelines and plans of letting Geeta and the prof go first and deal with terapagos, claiming it was crucial for her to obtain information firsthand while using you and the kitakami siblings as her dirty assistants (and reckless as Kieran says).
Then like the game, Kieran, sees an opportunity and pulls at the gem, which Briar nags on, convincing him that she understands how he feels about being misunderstood. Carmine and us try to interfere, but then terapagos awakens. Same thing happens. Boom. Kieran captures it in a master ball.
You battle it and Briar encourages Kieran to terastalize it, causing it to go berserk. Crystals slowly emerge as well as crumble from the ceiling.
By the time Geeta and the other prof come to aid as they finish battling the stella-type mons, Terapagos transports all of you into another room, not the chamber, but rather, the same place where Heath met - an out-of-the-world, temporally and spatially displaced setting. It takes your indigo disk, absorbing it and transforms into the stellar form, overflowing with tera energy. You now engage in a tera raid style (like in the game).
Briar goes nuts by going on a rave, something like this: - "finally, the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero reveals itself at last! You cannot fathom how long I have been waiting for this! I can share the truth and prove how wrong the world was!"
Then, Kieran has his shining moment and helps us beat terapagos. However, the earth continues to rumble and crack underfoot. Briar stands there, continuing her tirade or something as the cave is collapsing, but Koraidon helps us get out of it and back to the elevator site (at the end, she departs her role as a teacher and faces some legal consequences for endangering the kids and receives some help, all off-screen).
(the crystals from the terrarium also stop and "dissappear" due to the end of terapagos' rampage).

A Man And His Guard. 1/2
Status: Completed.
Pairing: Gustavo Fring x male reader.
Other appearances: Mike Ehrmantraut.
Summary: During the rise of Gus’ paranoia, Mike hires you in an attempt to ease it. You work where he does, do everything he says and later even learn that you are to go home with him.
Neither of you knew what to expect of each other, but how does one Mr. Fring react when you will not stop making... comments.
Warnings: flirting.
Always be aware that there might be spelling mistakes and such in my writing. I do read over them, but they can just slip under my radar sometimes.
A/N: I think this is the first time I am actually writing a male reader fic so I hope I do it justice. I am a male myself but I rarely use gendered terms with the reader anyway.
Also I’m like terrible at flirting so if the readers lines aren’t great then... my bad ig.
This is a two part series, so begin waiting for the next edition to arrive!
I hope you enjoy!
More Gustavo fics.
Tumblr media
It was around the time that Lalo Salamanca was presumed ‘not dead’ when you had gotten the job.
Their crew was sparse, most had been taken up at posts where they surveyed the other properties/places that Mr. Fring usually went to. So Mike reached out with an offer.
You knew him from work done in the past where you had acted as a guard for a person he wanted to meet, for a reason you had later learned, but that specific guy had a target on his back from a lot of local businesses.
For this job, like many others, you had no idea what you were getting into. And even if there was a proper brief, none of it would prepare you for what would actually come.
Gustavo Fring had been a name thrown around many times in your life. A very common thing when working in this particular field.
But, seeing him right there in the flesh, on practically a daily basis at this point, was a thing that there wasn’t any words to describe. Because usually no one lived to even talked about it, or, obviously, they weren’t allowed to.
It was some time in the late hours of the afternoon, the liveliness of restaurant slowly reducing as time went by.
There were barely any customers occupying the booths or the neighbouring tables, and the new people coming in usually just wanted something for the road if they couldn’t be bothered to wait in the drive through.
You were moving amidst the dinning area, the long dust pan and brush in hand as you collected up stuff that had fallen during peoples meals, and swept across the beige tiles that felt increasingly bright in the sun.
The surroundings were still a bit noisy. People were chatting away, cars passed at almost every minute, there was muffled clatter from the other employees as they moved around kitchen equipment as they cooked.
It wasn’t that bad.
In fact, the only thing that you didn’t really like about ‘working’ in Los Pollos Hermanos was the need to wear its uniform.
Being a guard in this side of the business usually enforced the wearing of dark coloured clothes. It was a way to keep up a feeling of mystery, provide the impression that you were a person not to be messed with.
But there you were, stood in an obnoxiously bright yellow shirt which was paired with that damn red visor and a matching apron, to top it all off.
This might as well have been a punishment than a job.
After however long, you completed your round of the dinning area and ducked into the hallway beside the drinks machine, finding the place where you had initially picked up the dust pan and brush to return them.
And you did, a deep breath filling your lungs once the equipment was leaned back up against the wall.
It had been a long time since you had worked around a plethora of people and their own individual personalities, so coming to this work place almost felt jarring in comparison. People were properly polite. Gave smiles that were actually genuine.
The clear of someone's throat emitted from somewhere to the left, and your head turned in that direction immediately, your feet soon following, “Mr. Fring.”
“Has the floor been cleaned?” The way he dressed for work was always so smart, though it kind of reminded you of SpongeBob, and it perfectly matched with a lot of things about him.
You gave him a simple nod, “Yes, it has.”
“There are still a few customers out there, so I’ll do the last round once they leave.” you then explained and turned yourself to face the doorway that lead to the main area, attempting to peer round it so that you could see into the dinning area again and the car park through the windows.
“Any signs?”
The words left you just blinking for a moment. You had thought by taking your leave from the conversation that it would bring on its end. But now you were looking back to the man who hadn’t moved a step.
Anyone else would’ve been confused at what he had meant by that question. but you knew instantly. And even if it was your job to check, it sort of made you feel bad that you had to.
“No one came.” you stated, plain and simple so that it wouldn’t display your pity, and Mr. Fring subtly took in a deep breath, his chin only slightly raising, “Good... Go clean the empty tables.”
Now was when he was about to walk away, probably to go back to his office to make calls as a way to further check if there was any new information, but when he watched your face crinkle up in what looked like distaste at the task he had just given you.
He seemed to become a little distracted.
“Do I at least get paid more?”
Sure, Mr. Fring had a lot of encounters with many different people, each with their own separate way of approaching things, different ways of speaking.
But no one had ever attempted to talk the way that you did. Especially when in direct contact.
It was a thing that could only make him stare, even glare, in an attempt to hide his surprise. But it wouldn’t shake you. In fact all you did was shrug, “Oh, well.” you breathed out, giving him one last glance before you moved to get the cleaning supplies.
“I guess if it’s for you then I’ll do it.”
~
You found yourself making your way through the many hallways of Los Pollos Hermanos. An amount that after a long day made the building feel like a maze, though the size wasn’t even comparable to one.
Soon, you had located the way to your bosses door, a deep breath sucking into your lungs before you raised your hand to knock against it. The sound was the only thing that filled the hallway.
“It’s Y/n. Y/n L/n, Sir.” you called quickly, realising that at this time he was always expecting to be in danger. A mysterious knock to his door wasn’t exactly going to help with that.
It took a good minute for there to be any kind of response, but after it sounded like an object had been set down, the muffled voice finally came through the gaps of the door.
“Come in.”
Your hand grabbed at the handle, the cool metal almost shocking the warmth of your skin, before you twisted it until the door was pushable. “Hey,” you had began, ready to step into the new room. But that was quickly halted when your eyes fell on its contents.
It was very dark compared to literally any other room in the building. The walls may have been a little darker already, but because of him relying on only the light from the sun and a lamp residing on his desk, it took you a moment to actually see anything.
You cleared your throat when your gaze landed on a waiting Mr. Fring, “Sorry to interrupt-- Lyle said that you wanted to see me earlier?” you explained and finally stepped into the room so that you could close the door behind you.
“I didn’t know I had made such an impact already.”
Mr. Frings eyebrows had twitched in a way that almost wasn’t visible. However, the rest of his face didn’t change, “When accepting the job, did Ehrmantraut explain what it would hold?”
Your shoes scraped the ground as you stopped yourself about a step away from his desk. Your back straightened as you took a moment to think, “He barely does when he has an offer.” you pointed out simply, though your tone changed when you next spoke. “Was I wrong?”
“Did he mention that you would be working for me... personally?”
In that moment, you had paused for about three seconds, even if it had felt like 10 minutes in your head, as a certain word rung through your ears over and over again.
“Personally, huh...” you repeated. It tasted sweet on your lips, your mind running very fast over any of the things that it could mean. “I guess I didn’t quite catch that part... But I like the sound of it.”
Through your now, slightly, dazed state, you had missed the way Mr. Fring had lowered his head just a tad. His lips were pressed together. His eyebrows begging to furrow though he wouldn’t let them, especially when you had spoke again.
“Am I supposed to go get you stuff? Run errands, drive you places-- That kind of thing?”
The man before you almost huffed a laugh. He dipped his head as he slowly pushed back his chair. “In the future, it is possible.” Mr. Fring was now stood up from his seat, his feet taking him round his desk in such a slow pace that it had your pulse raising. “But for now we are going to my home.”
He stopped in front of you, about two and a half steps away, with that strong gaze he always held. Though this time it most definitely felt different as your breath was close to hitching, “Now I really do like the sound of this.”
In about a second, Mr. Frings body had entirely stiffened.
It was unnoticeable to people who had just met him as he was usually quite a ridged person, the wind couldn’t even sway him. But to someone that knew him enough, it was clear as day.
The intimidation he had held on his face had faded as if it had just been wiped off with a cloth. It was almost like he had forgotten how to breathe.
Suddenly, before you could clock anything, Mr. Fring turned towards his desk like there should be someone waiting on the other side. It almost startled you. But soon, a hand of his reached across the surface of the table.
“Mr. Fring?” you had questioned, any and all excitement now being swarmed by confusion.
Just as you were about to move, try to catch the look on his face, his feet had began to twist until the rest of his body urged to follow.  And now, he stood, facing you once again.
His eyes were aimed at what you could now see was some kind of sticky note folded in half, and then they flicked to yours.
His chin raised until it was in level with your own and by the next time you had blinked, the note was held out in front of you.
“Read it.” was all he said when you hadn’t taken it, and after just looking at him for a moment, you sucked in a quiet breath, retrieving the paper from between his fingers.
By the time you had began unfolding it, Mr. Fring had turned once again, making his way back to his deskchair when your eyes landed on the word in black ink.
“Lakeview?” The chair squeaked beneath him as he sat, but besides that he didn’t even bother to look up. He simply grabbed a pen and dragged a clipboard in front of his eyes.
“Am I allowed to ask, or is this going to be a game of hard to get?” The urge to smirk tugged at the corners of your mouth when the tip of his pen visibly stilled. Though, when Mr. Frings head slowly raised as if it was in slow motion, that feeling had stopped in a instant.
His eyes were almost harsh when they met with yours, as if they could pierce right through your own. They never moved and as time passed, he hadn’t even blinked. “I’m sure you can figure it out.”
It was a warning. He knew it, you knew it.
So, guess his surprise when the only thing you had done in response was, once again, simply shrug your shoulders.
His whole body froze like it had done before, though this time he hadn’t broken the eye contact.
Every other person he had met, even ones that worked for him, crumbled under his gaze when someone had pressed his patience or authority. They would look away, forget how to speak, or quickly turn on their feet to do whatever he had asked.
But not you.
Your shoes were planted in the same place as before until you wanted them to move.
“You know, I do like a good game, Mr. Fring.” It was so silent in that room that it was like you could physically see your words pierce through the air. A pin could drop and the sound could be heard as if it was played through a thousand speakers. “I think having an opponent like you is going to be great fun.”
That was when you had officially turned on your heel. The smirk broke across your lips the moment you faced the door, and even more so when it had opened.
By the time you were back in the hallway, sifting the post-it back and forth between your fingers, the image of Mr. Frings expression was clear in your mind in a way that made it so hard to not laugh.
His lips were parted. Every muscle in his face looked as if it had been frozen in time, tense. He looked like a deer caught in headlights.
He almost lost the grip he had on his pen.
~
You ended up back in the main area of the restaurant, your eyes being hit with a much dimmer colour this time as the sun began to hide.
All the tables had already been cleared earlier by you, and Mr. Fring when he couldn’t keep his mind occupied. The customers had gone home, hopefully pleased with their meals, which let an almost eerie silence hang in the air as the other employees had left too.
You moved through the rows of tables, searching for even the slightest speck of dirt or trail of crumbs that would set a certain man off if he saw. But there was nothing.
It had all been more than thoroughly cleaned.
So, you ended up by the table next to the entrance, a slight sigh huffing through your nose. Your body wound round the back of bench closest to the door, a hand reaching for the red blinds that covered the window.
Your fingers parted two of the slats, and you made yourself slightly lean over the bench so that you could get closer to the glass that lay beneath the blinds.
Upon first glance of the world outside, everything seen was slowly being engulfed by the black mass of night. One so deep that it had started to prevent the ability to see the horizon.
The only car in the parking lot was Mr. Frings, coloured in such a way that it would’ve been invisible in the evening light if it wasn’t for the reflections from the surrounding lamps.
There was no one in the car, no one outside of it, and no other vehicle stalking around, as the rest were just general cars that passed by on the main road, and that was now like every 10-15 minutes.
After making sure that there was complete satisfaction with the fact that there was not a singular person in the vicinity, you let the slats set back into the original places, stepping away from the window so you could make your way through the restaurant.
Again.
The sigh that left your mouth this time was of relief when you opened the door, to what would be a supply closet for anyone else. There they were, sat in the neatest pile you could be bothered to put them in. Your clothes.
Pretty much the only item of your own that you got to keep during the day was your shoes, so when that sweet sweet fabric was in your hands, it was utter peace. Paradise. Like reuniting with a long lost lover.
Upon imagining how a person would look standing in the middle of a closet and practically cradling a set of clothes, however, you straightened yourself up into the usual guard posture, any remnants of excitement fading from your face.
And then you swivelled on your foot, leaving the closet like you had never even been in there.
By the time you had gotten to the front of the restaurant all over again, the clothing happily held in your hand, it seemed that a certain Mr. Fring had beat you to it.
There was no way to tell if he had disliked having to stand there waiting as his head was directed towards the window you had been look through before, his hands clasped behind his back that made him properly appear like a business man.
Or just an old man.
If you could see his face however, you thought that you would’ve seen that usual, intentionally, blank expression. A theory that was then proven to be true when you had stopped by his side. You cleared your throat, “I take it we’re going to yours now?”
His spine straightened in about a second when your voice found his ears. He had gotten lost, his gaze consumed by the endless possibilities of what waited for him outside the restaurant.
But in the next second, by the next time he had breathed, his body twisted towards you like he had been standing like that the whole time. The previous vacant look that carried across his face was replaced by a smile, though his eyes had not changed.
And that was it. That was all you got.
Mr. Fring passed right by you without another word, his footsteps echoing around the unsettlingly empty room, before he made his way through the door with the exit sign shining above it.
When it had closed again, further encasing the restaurant in a strong silence, you had begun to blink, your brain at least attempting to process what had just happened.
However, the longer you stood there, the further away Mr. Fring became, and by now he was on the path between the rows of parking spaces. Getting closer and closer to his car.
You almost stumbled over your feet as you made your way over to the exit yourself.
The door opened in a flash, engulfing your skin in the night air, and you were about to continue walking... Until you heard the jingle in your pocket. “Shit.”
There was a meeting that you had with Mike about a day prior. He gave a run down of the usual stuff that went down in Los Pollos Hermanos and, at least, the basic duties that the boss would have you do.
You were given a set of keys, each for pretty much any place that Mr. Fring had access to himself. Now it seemed that he was testing your memory.
After glancing back at Mr. Fring, you let out a hushed grunt, pulling the keys out of your pocket from under your apron, and then turned back to the door, locking it in a speed that should’ve gained you an award.
You swivelled round after doing a test pull on the handle and basically began jogging to catch the man who was now very close to that blue vehicle.
But just as the distance was beginning to shorten, a few things began piecing together.
The sudden change, the smile that he used on other employees, something that he hadn’t used on you all day until it was time to leave the safety of the restaurant.
You understood that he would have to put on an act at some point, sure. Though apparently it hadn’t occurred to you what that would mean until now.
He was the boss, and you were just some random guy who had a job in his business.
That doesn’t exactly give the right to catch a ride with him, now did it?
“Uh, Mr. Fring?”
The man himself had just placed a hand on the roof of his vehicle. His eyes were once again aimed into the distance, and it took about five seconds to get himself back as he then turned to you, the same smile taking over his lips, “Yes, Y/n?”
“I believe that I’m supposed to be getting picked up on something called Lakeview. Would you happen to know where that is?”
It wasn’t a name for a person, as you knew for a fact that if the man in front of you had a target of any kind he would just straight up say it, and it wasn’t going to be a place because Mike would’ve at least said something.
It was a pickup point.
Mr. Frings chin slowly raised. And now, with the smile that took over his lips, his eyes seemed to crinkle with it, “Lakeview road?”
Your spine straightened, all the air coming into your lungs feeling like it was on hold, especially when you nodded your head as a commitment to your idea.
Mr. Fring simply turned his head upon the confirmation, and he pointed towards the road on the other side of the main one, which was directly across from the proper entrance of Los Pollos Hermanos.
You squinted your eyes after following the direction, trying to see the road that was partially illuminated by a streetlight as your shoulders attempted to ease from the previous tension.
And then you spotted it. A car parked beside the red fencing.
It was one that you didn’t recognise, but still.
You were right.
In order to keep the smug look off of your face, you lightly bowed your head when your attention went back to your boss. “Thank you, Sir.” you said and Mr. Fring simply copied your previous movement before finally opening his door.
“Have a good night.”
By the time his car had left the grounds of Los Pollos Hermanos, you had made it to the edge of the main road. You were stood on the concrete sidewalk, a streetlight towering over your head as you looked back and forth to gage where any oncoming traffic was.
You only had to do it once for each side, tonight apparently being a night where not many people were aiming to travel.
So on you went, now jogging across the two lanes until you got to the other side like that one chicken did. Your shoed feet were met with a mix of sand and stones this time as there was no sidewalk to even the ground.
And then there it was in front of you.
A blue RAV4.
The driver must have sensed the new presence as within the next second, the door on their side had opened, a scene that had your feet slowing by the time the figure was out of the car.
It was a woman. One you had seen in a picture when Mike showed members of the crew working for Mr. Fring. Mrs. Ryman? Her and her husband were the people ‘occupying’ the safe house.
“Mr. L/n?” she questioned, and as soon as you gave her a nod of confirmation, she immediately proceeded to walk to the back of the car before any sort of question could fall from your lips.
She grabbed the handle on the left side of the door and pulled on it until it was open about half way so that your eyes could cast onto whatever was inside. You almost tilted your head like a dog.
There, in the back of a damn car, laying on his side very uncomfortably, was none other than Mike Ehrmantraut himself.
It all made sense.
It was late at night. Mr. Fring had now left Los Pollos Hermanos, meaning that if anyone was watching him, they would have followed his car to see where he was going next.
None one was watching you.
The urge to laugh was fighting itself way up your throat, but you took a deep breath in through your nose and let yourself walk forward when Mrs. Ryman had turned to you expectantly.
“You didn’t have another one of those sandwiches today, did you?” A grunt followed your words as you practically shoved yourself into the trunk of this random car, and shifted until the left side of your body was fully pressing into Mike’s.
The door was only just able to close again.
The surroundings were plunged into darkness. A few beams of light managed to filtered through the gaps in the backseats and the trunk cover enough so that you could make out the face of the man before you as you dropped your pile of close on your lap.
“I see you worked it out.”
Your body felt like it sunk into the walls of the car though it had barely moved, your hands raising to rub at the skin of your face either in disbelief or tiredness, “I will admit that I thought you were talking about an actual lake at first.”
Mike huffed a laugh at that, the two of you slightly rocking together when the car started backing up. “Well, I’m glad you didn’t try to find one.”
“Me too.”
Despite the fact that you were currently sat, cramped, in the back of a car. There was a feeling of comfort that had been kept from you throughout the day. Especially now that Mike was with you.
He might’ve been a man that has killed multiple people, and is not afraid to do the same to more... but so are you.
When you are on the right side, his right side, he’s just another old guy that you would see walking down the street, or sitting in a restaurant.
Being in this business meant needing to keep connections with certain people hidden so that they wouldn’t end up getting hurt as a result of someone trying to prove a point.
He was the closest thing to family.
Mike let one of those deep breaths seep through his nose, and you swear it almost sounded like the huff of a dragon. His head leaned back into the wall behind him. “How’s Gus?”
Ah. The question you knew was bound to be asked soon.
You shuffled slightly even if it wouldn’t do much, more scared of accidently kicking Mike in the ribs than anything else now. “Obsessed with me.”
The look Mike gave you was one that you could feel even if you couldn’t properly see it, and you tried not to smile as you fiddled with label of the shirt you held. The man most definitely rolled his eyes. “No, no... He’s obsessed with everything else to be honest.”
A sigh passed from your lips into the air inside the car.
Your head shook, a mixture of emotions filtering through your body as your mind reminded itself of Mr. Frings previous behaviour. “He really wants him to just show up already, but... man, I don’t know. I’m not sure if he’s actually prepared for that.”
“Well. That’s why you’re there.”
You tried to fully sit upright, only getting about half way before you looked at Mike with narrowed eyes, “Yeah, about that-- You know, when you said that you needed my skills, I was thinking more along the lines of stakeouts or surveillance stuff, or like... having me fight someone at least.”
“I didn’t exactly prepare to become a janitor.”
The car was most definitely somewhere down the main road by now. Mike’s head remained where it was, not even bothering to tilt it in your direction when he next spoke as he simply closed his eyes instead. “Still part of the job.”
You stifled a scoff, just watching the man when he attempted to cross his arms over his chest. “Gives you more acting lessons too.” Mike then added and you supressed the urge to kick him, more like nudge him, with your foot. “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” It was your turn to roll your eyes.
“You’re still paying me more.”
~
The sky above was pitch black by the time of arrival on Jefferson Street. The quiet outside, the warmth of the car, and the general darkness worked together in a way that was the opposite for most people.
The distance between Los Pollos Hermanos and Mr. Frings house was far enough that if there was a kid sitting in one of the backseats they would be in a deep sleep.
But as an adult, you were wide awake. Especially when you felt the car begin to slow after a turn.
You attempted to prop yourself up from your slouched position, your eyes trying to find an angle where you could see out the window, despite the fact that it was very much impossible to do from inside a trunk.
“We’ll be out in a minute.” Mike assured, observing your many attempts at moving. You sunk back, mirroring his position when you hit into the wall of the car, “And how do you know that?”
As if on cue, the ride to the house seemed to have come to an end. The car stopped, again slightly jolting the two of you together. “We’re in the garage.” The monotonous edge to his voice was audible more than ever.
You could only blink for a moment as the muffled sound of someone getting out of the car echoed through what most definitely was a garage. “Jeez-- How many times have you had to do this?” you questioned, and it had Mike’s head shaking in a second, a grunt rumbling through his throat.
The door beside you finally opened, and though you had to squint due to the sudden light, you swung your legs to the side, eagerly pushing yourself out of the trunk.
“Oh, man.” you breathed out once on your own two feet, and moved to the side so that Mike could get himself up while you stretched your arms high above your head in a way that your spine needed very much. “Do we really have to do that every time?”
“It’s the safest way.” Mike insisted as he closed up the car and your head shook, “Seriously?” But he ignored you, starting to walk through the garage. “Follow me.”
Even after a ride like that it was immediately work time.
You wanted to complain until you couldn’t speak anymore, but nevertheless you complied and followed behind the man like a duckling does with its mother.
You couldn’t help the way your eyes flickered around the room when Mike opened the door to what was originally a living room, “Hey, Mike.” a man had called, and Ehrmantraut started to spark up a conversation.
However, when your gaze landed on the desk that his friend was sat at, your brain seemed to tune it out.
There was about about seven different monitors on and working. Each screen displayed a shot from wherever the camera was placed. It varied from the entrance and exits of this house to what you assumed was Mr. Frings.
But even then they seemed to changed at the click of a button to an entirely different location.
Maybe he was prepared.
“L/n.”
Your eyes snapped to the door way to find Mike stood about halfway through it. He tilted his head to the side and you began walking all over again when you realised what he meant.
So, now, he lead you through the hallways of the house. You nodded at anyone you passed, seemingly understanding the tired look on their faces though this was your first proper day.
Eventually you found yourself in the basement of the house, and while Mike continued through the room, your feet slowed on the platform before the last two steps, your eyes yet again being consumed by the new atmosphere.
This was where the couple stayed after doing their daily appearance out of the house, as the rest was swarmed by a bunch of dudes.
They had most of the stuff they need. They had cupboards, a kitchen area along the furthest wall, a clothing wrack. There was a king sized bed, and a table to your right where they could sit and do whatever they wanted if they weren’t upstairs at this time.
And though your mind practically begged you to continue looking around. A certain question sprung through your thoughts.
“Listen, I appreciate the fact that there are a lot of things you can’t tell me about this job,” you began, a hand placing down on the little railing, “But am allowed to ask why you have just lead me into a basement?”
Ehrmantraut was now stood in front of the big shelf that sat at the corner of the right wall. It extended to the ceiling but the width was about 4 columns worth. Your eyebrows were quick to furrow when he reached for one of the shelves.
Even more so when quiet beeps sounded from what only could be a keypad.
“Mike?” you had questioned, a mild laziness to your voice as your brain consumed itself with finding the source of noise. And then your feet finally moved, allowing you off of the platform, onto the carpet.
But it seemed you had stopped as fast as you had started.
Your body almost jolted when a mechanical sound pierced through the air, and soon, Mike grabbed onto the middle divider with both hands, beginning to pull on it as hard as he could.
A rumbling rippled through the floor you stood on as the shelf scuffed against the carpet, and despite your disbelief, the mechanism disconnected from the first column of shelf.
It was opening like a natural door would. There was certain things on shelves that shook with the movement, though others appeared as if they had been glued down. Just there for decoration.
It wasn’t until the shelf door was turned as much as it could against it’s hinges that your eyes allowed you to focused on what lay beneath it. Your jaw almost dropped.
It was a tunnel.
There was a goddamn tunnel that connected this house to the next.
“No way.”
Mike didn’t have to tell you twice when he signalling for you to follow him this time, and upon going through the doorway, turning into the passage, it almost gave you chills.
But that was more due to the fact that the temperature was different than in the house.
The walls of the tunnel were a grey concrete. One rose higher than the other leading the ceiling to have to curve to meet with them both, and support beams, the same colour as the walls they were up against, were placed about two steps apart, the lights situated between them.
Not even a deep breath could ease the speed of your heart. In fact the closer the journey was to its end, the faster it went.
So, when the back of, what you were assuming was, the same mechanism as in the previous house was now right in front of Mike, your shoulders fought to lower.
There was a combination of knocks that the man did against the smooth door. A sound that echoed through your ears over and over again the way ripples moved in water.
Mike took about a step back with a sniff when muffled beeps came through the, practically invisible, cracks of the door, and your body instinctively straightened like a soldier in front of their commander.
The door had opened.
There was no reasoning for the way you felt right then and there.
You had met Mr. Fring earlier. You had seen him, you had spoken, exchanged even informal parts of conversation, and have stood beside each other on multiple occasions.
So why, as you stared back at the man who was now revealed in one of his usual suits, was it like your lungs had forgotten their very function.
Mr. Fring gave Mike a nod to which the man did the same, and before you knew it, with a clear of his throat, Ehrmantraut turned on his feet, beginning to make his way back through the tunnel.
Your lips parted as you watched him go, though no words could even try to roll off of your tongue. The scuff of his shoes were the only thing to echo through the air, so when that familiar voice broke through, it had your head turning back within seconds.
“L/n.”
His eyes were already on yours by the time you were back to your original stance.
Your eyebrows were raised, a mixture of eagerness and excitement rumbling through your chest and ears when he tilted his head to the side. A gesture that Mike had used earlier to get you to follow him. “Come in.”
Just you and Mr. Fring.
“I’ll show you around.”

i wanna know more ab the m34th finding out lime’s relationship to the cat witch bc id be like 🧍‍♀️ if i were them just kinda pissed
UHGUHGU THIS IM NOT SUPER SOLID ON!!!!! but i will talk about what i have in my head right now!!
so much potential in every route....one route would be: they recruited him under the assumption he wanted the cat witch for some kind of revenge (because witches bad. why else would one want to look so desperately for them), and is essentially ignorant of his relationship to her. UNTIL we get to some point where for some mission/reason/other, they find out about them.
in my head i see that episode going as: another member finds and hunts down mochi (a fight she almost loses, and a good time to showcase what the m34th can really do). when lime arrives to a near-exhausted mochi backed into a corner, said guy (whoever, one of the more sadistic members) is like "Goldwood! Look, I found her! That stupid bitch of a cat witch has been hiding in the capitol all along! You wanted first dibs right? Now you can do what you want!" anyway lime dismembers this guy. legitimately cuts him off mid-sentance (literally cuts off his arm. i want a cool scene with this asshole clamoring for his life, and lime reveals for the first time to anyone in the m34th that hes vowed to the cat witch before unaliving him)
and when some other members of the m34th arrive (far after that guy is dead and lime has taken mochi away somewhere safe), they start to deduce "Huh... these clean cuts were made by one of our weapons." and slowly over the course of a few days as the investigation into their fallen comrade progresses, it becomes increasingly clear how wrong they were about lime
this also leads to a fight between lime and the other members of the m34th (whoever was on-call in the capitol at the time. SOS emergency mission, someones gone rouge). a fight mochi wasnt apart of, as it started to go down as she was still covering. also a fight that marshal, clarinette, and the squad captain all turned and sided with lime right before the fight
(it was marshals idea. lime was ready to kill every person who tried to get to mochi, but before lime could get his hands dirty, marshal swooped in with the idea of "If we erase their memories of it, we dont HAVE to kill them, and your girlfriend wont be upset with you for it.") (side note: the m34th has a memory-replacement system similar to the memory replace spell witches use. its a little more complicated as the memories can be stored and retrieved with some kind of tech something, but if you can destroy those as well then its like it never happened)
between lime, marshal, clarinette, and the squad captain who covers for all of them, this actually does end up succeeding. (another sad moment for clarinette, helping a roughed up lime limp his way home and having to watch mochi run into his arms again after she just helped save his life)
BUT THE OTHER SCENARIO ALSO HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL WHICH IS:
(under the same pretense they thought he was after revenge) the m34th knew where the cat witch was the whole time. they couldve easily helped him find her within weeks, but purposely kept him in the dark because they thought if he got what he wanted, he would lose motivation and wouldnt be as good a soilder (this route is better for showcasing the true power/reach/resources/spirit of the m34th)
in a subplot related to the frog witch, mochi gets summoned to the capitol palace by the king to find his missing son, the prince. none of their resources have been able to locate him, so the king figures the strongest witch is the next best bet. then their best m34th soilders (lime included) gets assigned to "watch" her during her mission under the orders of "i dont care how you feel, you arnt allowed to kill her until she finds the prince," and they have to spend the whole time pretending they hate each other and that they never met before in their lives
at the end, the prince is eventually found and mochi requests that if the m34th is going to keep watch over her, that lime be the one assigned to her since she knows him now post-mission. and lime has to pretend to be like "ah hate that cat witch, but this is for a paycheck and shes not super insufferable...so...fine." and so lime being in her guild is still in the dark to the rest of the m34th, but they DO know that he sees her at least semi-regularly with the "check-ins" (which gives birth to the "Cant believe you got seduced by a witch" things hehehe)
EITHER WAY I DONT KNOW YET

With a quiet chuckle, Luna told Frost that she had known about her admirers on the Island for years already, since it was one of the first places whither she went with her Daughter after they met one another; and during their long flight thither, Luna added, Nox told her about her status, which she still found difficult to believe and accept, to this very day, despite often witnessing it herself.
As for how long she had known about Frost's feelings for her, Luna slowly continued, as she watched the sapphire-blue Dragoness turn red in her face again, Luna sweetly reassured her that it had only been a few moments since she figured out that she held such strong feelings for her; and even then, she was not yet certain whether her suspicions were correct, until she decided to ask her about it.
The small smile on Frost's face steadily grew brighter as Luna continued speaking to her, until the Princess gently took her claw, and sweetly told her that she was genuinely honoured to know how she felt, which made Frost's heart skip a beat, and her smile fade; and she shakily exhaled, before she turned away from Luna to hide her eyes welling up, as she had heard those words far too many times.
But just as she lowered her head in acceptance, and started to prepare a grateful apology to say to Luna, she politely asked Frost if she could spend more time with her; for not only would this allow her to get to know the Dragoness better, which she would like very much, but also, because her idea required them to be close, it would no longer depend on whether they were able to find one another.
To Frost's pleasant surprise, Luna had told her the opposite of what she dreaded the Princess would say, and she turned to look at her with tears streaming down her face, about which Luna concernedly asked her; but although her tears of grief had turned to joy once more, all that Frost could do was sit down, as there was a lump in her throat, and she struggled to answer Luna's question yet again.
Fortunately, Frost still managed to nod to Luna, and she raised her claw to ask her for a moment to gather her thoughts, to which Luna merely warmly smiled as she sat down next to Frost in the grass, joined by Spike and Eclipse, and gently embraced her with her wing; and a smile returned to Frost's tear-stained face, before Luna asked her and Eclipse if she could explain the plan she had in mind.
In response, Frost and Eclipse nodded to her, although the latter did so way more enthusiastically, before Luna cleared her throat, and told them that it was unwise to send Frost to join the group in the Dragon Lands; but she knew of another way to see what their friends were looking at, which only required the help of Nox, with whom she had already spoken, and a powerful connection between them.
Since she now knew of Frost's feelings for her, which she swore upon the stars to keep secret until the end of time, it was on her to strengthen the bond between them, which she sincerely hoped Frost was all right with as well; for they would spend a lot of time with one another to get used to each other's presence, but, judging by Frost's bashfulness, Luna said kindly, this could be a challenge.
Despite her gentle and soft tone, however, Frost still became increasingly shy, and she covered her face with her free claw, only for Luna to quietly promise her that she would be all right, and that she did not have to hide herself; and as she glanced at her wings, and the bracers Frost still wore on her arms, Luna whispered that they had all been hiding too many things for far too long already.
When Luna uttered these heavy and burdened words, her gaze turned sombre, before she looked back at Spike, who was already sweetly leaning into the warm and caring embrace of Eclipse, from whence the Young Dragon solemnly nodded to her; and after she nodded to him in turn, she turned around to find that Frost had slightly lowered her claw, but also noticed that Frost was harshly closing her eyes.
After she softly asked Frost for her other claw, and gently squeezed them, Luna told the Dragoness:
"We need not hasten ourselves. Take as much time as you need to feel at ease. I will not rush you."

Bisexuality Wayne munson
No listen hear me out
Wayne who visited during the hospital while Eddie was in a coma and overheard Steve and Robin talking about a girl and they see him and he knows how terrifying that can be so he casually comments about boys being hard to ask out and ends up talking to Steve and Robin about it while eddie is in a coma for let's say a month in which Steve has 2 things happen
1. He stays over with Wayne on the days they're both kicked out of Eddie's room because Wayne hates the silence and Steve hates being alone but the only way he leaves that room is if at least 2 people he trusts are in it and others are usually busy. It works out well
2. Steve finds out Wayne likes both and relizes oh maybe I do too and while he hasn't said anything to Wayne except ask some questions abut Wayne has his suspicions
Then eddie wakes up and manages to get out of the hospital
Steve ends up at the trailer more to help eddie and Wayne is glad to have him
And then he notices the pining between the two of them
And says something to eddie who makes a comment about falling for somone so known for liking women
And Wayne makes a comment about that not meaning he doesn't like men and eddie freezes and still is not willing to try
Que Wayne munson tired of their pining increasingly obviously asking Steve out for eddie with Robin and slowly, as they relize that Steve and eddie like each other, the party helping him set the two up to go out because God damn it they care about Steve and eddie and want them happy
-✏️
ohhh i LOVE queer Wayne to the moon and back. And i love your idea!!
Steve enters Eddie's hospital room after beeing strongarmed into stretching his legs and a toilet break. He comes back to Wayne sitting back in the chair next to Eddie's bed, a tape playing on a stereo Wayne brought in for Eddie. They sit in silence a while, watching over the boy they both have devoted parts of their heart to. Parts of their lives to. Steve is staring and he's tired and he just wants to see those brown eyes open, wants to hear some shitty remark come out of Eddie's mouth that will drive him wild and leave him laughing. He's lost in his thoughts for the millionth time when Wayne starts speaking
‘Y’know, I know my boy is a little out there. I know he gets into scrapes about it. But I wouldn’t change him. And I’d sure as hell never let anyone change him. He’s good for people. Never shied from people that are different’
Steve doesn’t really know where this is going but it’s the most Wayne has ever spoken to him so he keeps quiet, nodding along because of course he agrees.
‘You know he made this tape? He’s always making tapes. Knows what he’s doing with music. All these singers though? They got something in common. Some of them I didn’t even know about but Eddie? He did his research, just like he always does.’
It’s quiet as Wayne takes a sip of his coffee and casts his eyes over eddie and Steve, Steve feels watched but also seen in a way he’s not quite sure he understands
‘Yup, just left this out for me one day. Told me to give it a listen, that all these people are ‘just like you’. Turns out he was right, can’t say I like all the songs but he was right, that little shit.’
Wayne looks directly at Steve this time, pins him to his chair with the force of the stare
‘Those singers are singing for themselves son, they dare who they are and they love who they love. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, okay? Don’t forget that, god knows it took me long enough to figure it out’
Steve sits slightly mystified as Wayne stands, pops the tape out and hands it to Steve
‘Give it a listen and don’t fucking lose it, alright?’
Wayne walks out, presumably for another coffee and Steve turns the tape over in his hands. He’s not entirely certain but he thinks this might be something important

Your HC's are absolutely amazing!!! I love every single one of them <333 Here's an idea:
When do the fellas realize they are in love?
ANON I WANT TO HOLD YOU LOVINGLY OMG I LOVE THIS IDEA AND I DON’T THINK I DID IT ENOUGH JUSTICE BUT THANK YOU LOVE U
Arthur
It’s so goddamn obvious Arthur has a crush on you. Everyone could see it except you and Arthur, both of you completely oblivious of each other’s feelings. Sure, Arthur knew he liked you but he didn’t realise how deep his feelings for you were until you were both ambushed by some O’Driscolls while out on a supply run.
Thankfully y’all took out the O’Driscolls without getting injured but the sudden fear that you could have gotten killed right there put a lot into perspective for Arthur. Still panting from the shootout, Arthur wordlessly wraps his arms around you, holding on to you tightly as he buries his nose in your hair.
He’s so happy you’re ok and the ambush has made him realise just how much he cares about you. But Arthur isn’t sure how to tell you about his feelings or if he even should tell you. Right now there’s one thing Arthur is certain of and that’s his love for you.
Charles
Charles liked what ye had. It was simple, genuine and a friendship he never thought he’d be so lucky to get. He didn’t want to ruin it by telling you about any deeper feelings he has. And so he brushed off the tight feeling he gets in his chest whenever you touch him or how he can’t help but smile anytime you’d say his name.
It’s like any other day at camp when you and Charles decide to go hunting. Everything’s normal until you hear the soft cries of a rabbit, caught in some brambles and unable to get free. You gently approach the bunny, being as careful as you can while slowly helping the rabbit get untangled from the brambles. Charles can feel his heart become warm as he watches you, so tender and caring as you help the rabbit. It’s in those moments Charles realises he loves you and wants to spend his life with you.
When you finally free the bunny and it hurries off, you both continue your journey but Charles goes quiet for a while. He knows he has to tell you soon about this realization but he isn’t sure how. This is all very daunting for Charles but looking over at you, his fears ease off and instead all he feels is love.
Dutch
Dutch has always been very intrigued by you, finding you quite trustworthy and taking your input into consideration for every robbery he plans. While he was going over a plan with you, it becomes increasingly obvious that Dutch is hesitant to give you a prominent role in the job. He knows you’d be able to handle yourself if things go bad but even so, he would still be putting you in danger.
Dutch puts his foot down, insisting you stay by him during the upcoming job and that if things go south then you run and avoid any possible shootouts. Of course you argue back that you’re capable, refuting his points until Dutch blurts out that of course he knows that you’re capable of this but if anything happens to you….
He trails off, the realisation sinking in that he doesn’t just view you as a great friend but that he truly loves you. Clearing his throat, Dutch dismisses you and promises that you can both speak about this in the morning instead. Right now he has a lot of feelings to work through and a plan to sort out.
Micah
Micah has a very particular way of showing someone that he likes them. And when he might actually have a crush on someone, he ups his antics and aims to annoy that person as much as possible so good luck tolerating that.
The only reason Micah annoys you is so you’ll give him more attention. It also helps Micah shrug off his feelings for you, convincing himself that the only reason he notices all the little things you do is so he can annoy you about them and not because he’s completely enthralled by you.
But the night Micah finally admits to himself that he loves you is when you dance with him in camp. Micah is completely shocked when you agree to dance with him but it’s definitely a welcomed surprise. He has so much serotonin afterwards, feeling all mushy on the inside as goofily admits to himself that he might actually love you. Although there’s no way he’d tell you about his feelings just yet, wanting to be confident he’s won you over before he makes his move.
John
It takes a while for John to realise he loves you. All the signs were there but he didn’t piece them together for a longgggg time. He can be kinda oblivious to things like this but there was a part of him that was also scared to confront his feelings.
John didn’t want to completely ignore his feelings for you but he didn’t want to acknowledge them either, scared it might impact his friendship with you. John gets pretty stressed out when he tries to figure out these emotions, unsure what any of this means or how he’s supposed to deal with this.
It’s only when Hosea talks to John, asking him about you and subtly smirking at how much John gushes about you does it finally click with him. Hearing himself say how much he loves being around you and all the things he adores about you makes John realize that he’s utterly in love with you. It’ll probably take him 6 months to actually confess this to you but he’ll get there… eventually.
Javier
Javier realises it pretty quickly that he loves you. He’s always been one to make romantic gestures towards you, subtly flirting with you whenever he can but Javier didn’t think it was possible to fall for a person so fast.
The more time you two spend together, going out to explore the new towns the gang pass through and spending the evenings fishing together, the stronger his feelings for you grow. Though ye never called your outings together ‘dates’ you were both smitten with each other, revelling in the small, lingering touches and quick smiles you’d give to one another.
It’s just like any other evening you’ve spent with Javier, laughing and talking about whatever comes to mind as Javier silently appreciates just how comfortable he is around you. Watching you lean in by him, casually resting your head against his shoulder, Javier realises just how used to this he could get. It suddenly all becomes clear to him. Javier doesn’t know how he didn’t see it before but now he’s confident this is love.
Bill
Everyone could tell Bill liked you more than a friend, noticing how he always wants to be near you in camp and will chat to you for hours without end. But because he’s made it so obvious, the others really love to tease him about it.
Whenever this happens Bill gets very defensive, especially since some of them will openly tease him in front of you. He can usually keep somewhat calm but this time he can’t help but march off, completely frustrated with the others constant jeering.
You follow him out and comfort him, listening to Bill as he rambles on about how much he hates it when they tease him about you, accidentally mentioning that he loves you halfway through. The second Bill realises what he’s just said, he stops talking, quickly going silent as he comprehends what he just said. He didn’t think he’d say that but now that he has, Bill realises it’s the truth and the he does love you.
Sean
Sean can be very open with his emotions, letting you and anybody in earshot know exactly how he feels at any given moment. So while it may take some time for Sean to realize how he feels about you, when he does get that realization, he tells you pretty quickly.
Sean was bored on guard duty and his mind drifted to you, thinking about how well you click with him, how he loves your voice, how blessed he is to have you in his life and holy shit he’s in love with you. Yep the realization is that simple for Sean.
Sean can’t keep this to himself, needing to tell you and wanting to see if you feel the same way. He feels like it would be a good idea to wait and plan something romantic first but let’s be real, the next time Sean sees you he’s going to blurt it out.
Kieran
Kieran knew very quickly that he really really liked you but he didn't fully understand the extent of his feelings or how to express any of this to you. He didn’t know how he was going to cope with these new emotions but thankfully one evening everything clicked for him.
It's a dumb injury, a long but thankfully not deep cut Kieran got while cleaning one of the saddles but you still insist on having a look at it and bandage it properly. No one's been so gentle with Kieran, delicately taking his hand in yours as you begin tending to the cut.
Kieran can feel himself falling deeper in love with you as you continue to help him and honestly, it feels amazing. He doesn't know how to tell you but to know the sensation he feels is love is comforting and Kieran's happy he now knows how to perfectly describe how he feels about you.

15 - How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?
For titling fics, its mostly just what feels good! I tend to pick first a working title [Main theme, or a few quippy lines that have to do with the plot] and then if the working title seems too obvious or arbitrary, I'll sit down and actually workshop it from there.
Casting Rain -> the original climax of the story was going to be the mage summoning the rain storm. Later, rain falling during hard times became a motif of the story, so "Casting Rain" turned into the overarching theme of "this war is casting rain on everyone involved".
Redstone and Skulk -> the original theme of the story was about the caustic differences between the hermits and their helsmets, and how they inherently destroy each other. Redstone [the way I write it anyway] is a caustic, burning substance that sparks and heats. Sculk is a colder, wetter substance that devours when given room to grow. If you were to lay redstone on sculk, they would either burn or devour one or the other. We'll ignore the fact that for the first several chapters I didn't realize minecraft sculk and the action skulk were not... the same........
Monsters Splitting Hairs -> it's a world of monsters in hiding, but also, the idea of "splitting hairs" has to do with trying to find fault or differences in two things that are very similar. You're getting down to minutiae so small, your basically splitting hairs in half while trying to separate them. The overarching themes of the story are, yes the main characters are monsters, but everyone who makes up the cast has lived through or done monstrous things during the war that happened before the story began. Ren, our POV character, is trying to make himself [and the other monsters] the good guys of this story, but when increasingly confronted with what everyone [and eventually himself] justify in the name of "right", he has to confront the fact that, ultimately, there is little difference. Motivation doesn't make a rightness of cruelty. Splitting monstrous hairs.
For chapters for fics -- uhhhh, they tend to rise out of trends? Redstone and Skulk started with short chapter names [one or two words] because I was posting a lot all at once from Tumblr and didn't care to make involved titles. When the story continued, I kept the names short.
MSH has slowly turned into a game of songs. I have one big playlist with songs about the story or characters, and when I switch character POVs, I now pick songs based on the playlist that match them as the chapter headers.
Casting Rain had no rhyme or reason XD whatever sounded good
The Crimson Serpent had chapter titles that were the real life titles of those like, old books? You know, when in the renaissance they used to title stuff like "A Gift to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Traveling" and "A Catalogue of the Bishops of several Sees Within the KINGDOM of SCOTLAND Down to the YEAR 1688. Instructed by proper and authentic VOUCHERS. TOGETHER WITH Some other Things necessary to the better Knowledge of the Ecclesiastical State of this Kingdom in former Times AS ALSO a brief Preface concerning the first planting of CHRISTIANITY in SCOTLAND and the State of that Church in the earlier Ages." It was very fun and whimsical to me.

okay how about bella/edward/jasper literally only because of the bit in twilight where jasper supposedly enjoys being around them bc of their happy emotions or something?? like edward does hate jasper but like. is there any way a one night stand would work out?
Oh Jasper, you poor, desperate, soul. This is what you come to, I see.
Jasper gets quickly removed from the relationship and taken on vacation by Alice. Edward may no longer be quite so paranoid about Jasper literally eating Bella, but he is still the family interloper. Edward never cared for Jasper in the least and now Jasper's trying to drive a wedge between him and his wife because he's that pathetic? Not a chance, Edward catches on and removes Jasper from the equation before Jasper can get his foot in the door.
As for Bella, she's still not sure if Jasper hates her or not.
Come on Muffin, Try
Alright, alright, we might be able to squeeze a one night stand out of this. Maybe.
Edward's finding that without the scent, sex with Bella is... uh... a chore. This is bad because sex is the only thing tying their relationship together (though neither will admit this). Bella keeps wanting him to put out, sometimes multiple times a night, and Edward's... having a tough time with that.
Although he feels very deficient and impotent for not being up to the task of pleasing his wife, he needs a stud.
Now, he can't ask Carlisle as Carlisle is an honorable man married to Esme. Same with Emmett (and Rosalie would kill him). He would ask Jacob but Jacob says a hard no as he wants to stay pure for Renesmee (I can't believe I just wrote that sentence in a post holy god I want to vomit).
That leaves Jasper.
Jasper who spent years sleeping around with who even knows what while high on blood and murder. This also implies that he has some experience and is at least probably good at it (though not a bettter lover than Edward, of course not, Edward is a manly man who knows how to make love to a woman like a starfish.)
Alice, further, will understand and loan him out gladly for the sake of Edward as well as Bella her sister and best friend.
Jasper gets an intervention from Alice and Edward telling him that he's going to be pleasuring Bella whenever she wants. Jasper has no idea how to take this. He's also told Bella doesn't know yet. He really doesn't know how to take that one.
Well, somehow, because Bella's a codependent mess and can't leave Edward at this point, and because Jasper's the same with Alice, she ends up sleeping with Jasper.
This goes well and becomes somewhat regular...
Until Edward feels threatened.
See, now Bella and Jasper are talking. They have these inside jokes from the times they've made sweet love to each other/had weird pillow talk about being loaned out to someone else's spouse. They share intimate gestures, lock eyes, and grow genuinely fond of each other.
Worse, Jasper is now talking to Renesmee, his daughter is now treating him like a favored uncle (and perhaps even a father). Renesmee also seems to be growing increasingly distant from Edward himself because of all of this.
Bella... seems to be developing actual feelings for Jasper. Jasper is slowly coming to replace Edward himself.
RED ALERT.
Edward desperately tries to kick Jasper out to make sweet love to his wife again. But now Bella refuses, he can't just loan Bella out then take her back.
Because of this, long story short, Edward ends up sleeping with Jasper and Bella too.
He's straight up not having a good time.

🧍‍♀️💀
thank you lore and also sorry it took so long for me to get around to this one!!! <3
🧍‍♀️: what fic is begging for your attention right now but you refuse to give it?
unfortunately I have started three (3) separate fics with the sudden motivation to write them but then immediately fallen into a no-writing slump. There's the Eastern Promises fic, the Medieval Arranged Marriage fic, and most recently the wlw Edwardian Codywan Continuation fic, and unless I tape my hands to my keyboard they're just not comin right now :(
💀: if you had to write an alternate ending to (What Year Was Our House Built?) how would you end it?
LORE this is such a difficult and intriguing question omg. I'm trying to remember whether I had a couple different endings floating around before I wrote the one that exists, and I think they all got abandoned as I was writing the whole rest of the work anyways -- I'm gonna put some stuff under a read more because MAJOR SPOILERS
From the outset of the creation of this fic, obi-wan and cody were always meant to be dead and find their bodies in the spare room; it was a perfect example of one of those fics where you get an idea for a scene and then are forced to write everything leading up to and after it. I did have some trouble trying to figure out how to end a story when your main pov character finds out they're dead, and then decided to have a go at how it might feel to actually "be one with the Force", in that connected-through-all-things way.
I will say, there was an alternate plot in which the dream!obi-wan was the one actively trying to keep obi-wan and cody in the house construct, but I think the way things fell out as I was writing just ended up leaning away from that angle. There was also potentially an alternate idea that explored more of their relationships with outside people, like Anakin, or some other clones, within the house-construct-universe, but that started to feel too cheesy and would only have been brought up in the same way as a "hey when was the last time we actually remember seeing them in person" kind of thing.
I guess to truly answer the question and fully change the ending, I might go for either: 1) an ending where Cody isn't real and has never been here, and was part of Obi-Wan's construct all along. Just as in the extant fic they slowly start to become more sexual with each other as they figure out the boundaries between dream and reality, in this alternate fic Obi-Wan might notice increasingly "off" things about Cody, so that by the end Cody becomes so vaporous that he has simply become part of the background, repeating the same phrases and becoming unresponsive. Obviously this is very sad for Cody and I wanted him to be more of an active character and have their relationship be the crux of it all, but in terms of horror it's pretty juicy stuff.
Or, 2) an ending where they start back at the beginning of the war. Unclear if absolutely everything was a dream, or if they're in some kind of loop, but still playing off of the meta-themes of the fic in which authors pluck characters from their canon 'reality' and put them in situations, and once one story ends, another begins.

Weekly Roundup: prompt reminders
It turns out Gray’s dislike being seen as a pretty girl and constant dysphoria ends up being a mundane gender thing just as much as a ‘my physical appearance and identity have been slowly and painfully overwritten by a long-dead woman’s by the hands of fundamentalists’ thing. Ideally, additionally include Waver and Reines being supportive and going out of their way to help find means to present more masculine even with the unique issues of a magically 'frozen’ body.
gudako becoming a ceo and joining the kengan association after retiring as master, not because they need money or have any interest in running a business/fight ring but because the kengan tournaments are the only place they can find dick from insane men who love to beat the shit out of each other close the level of what they had at chaldea
age gap, I come humbly asking for mash/morgan. specifically i want mashmorgan with an emphasize on the age gap. Mash is SO young and inexperienced compared to Morgan, barely even just reached adulthood by human standards. You get an extra kiss on the forehead if you play it as corruption, specifically as MASH corrupting Morgan, trying to get Morgan to fuck her good even if it can't be a good idea.
Guenivere falls for Lancelot because he's horribly vanilla and she just couldn't get into Artoria's huge raging knotted dragon dick no matter how much she tried.
smut, bestiality, Lobo and Hessian double-team Guda with lots of primal feral sex. Lobo keeps knotting Guda so they can't get away even if they want to. They don't want to.
smut, jing ke (accomplished hedonist who is "very popular with female servants for some reason") convinces qin shi huang (fundamentally cautious but also too curious for their own good and always gets complacent about their perceived superiority at the crucial moment) to allow her to "explore their body" and "show them some human experiences" which they believe is fine because its not like she can put the fear of death in them a THIRD time (incorrigible hubris) this obviously immediately turns into jing ke blowing their back out with a massive strapon and with qin shi huang's mind equally blown by the vast possibilities of human pleasure and ingenuity behind sex toy development that didn't exist in their lostbelt they're immediately absorbed into developing increasingly outlandish toys for jing ke to use on them and test the limits of pleasure this body can feel until they've looped right back around to a "human experience" that applies to zero normal mortal humans who would absolutely die from the violent fucknasty pervert sex they're having and/or don't even have the holes they're having things stuck into but jing ke's fine with it this time because they're not trying to govern other people about it this time and also she gets to fuck an extremely attractive person like she's trying to kill them on a daily basis. also you can do whatever you want for qin shi huang's genitals or swap equipment midway idc about that i care about shi huang di in their hubris willingly turning themselves into an incorrigible masochist with a crippling addiction to jing ke strap
smut, Caster Artoria is "forced" to go around town stark naked. It's definitely her decision and she totally isn't doing this because she wants to guys.
Gudao gets the most unique dysphoria moment of his life when he summons Jack on one of his ‘feeling like presenting as male’ days and is immediately greeted with ‘mom’ first thing in the morning.
age gap, Future fic where Rin & Shirou keep getting weird looks from their neighbours because from a normie perspective they're a couple of 40yo fucking Saber, a teenage girl.
smut, castoria should fuck cu alter. it wouldn't fix either of them but I think Castoria can take him + she could use a man who doesn't care if she scratches back.
Xu Fu is forced to work alone with Xiang Yu, and accidentally ends up falling in love with him too
smut, Bedivere being really fucking awkward around Castoria, because she's an incarnation of Excalibur and he sure jerked off with his Excalibur arm back in the days.
AU where Akiha fully becomes Roa's latest reincarnation after killing SHIKI
smut, Guda free use anyone? There are so many servants with carnal desires going around, I think it'd be most efficient if Chaldea had a "anyone can fuck the master anywhere and we'll all turn a blind eye to it" system.

Can I have some headcanons for how various servants would deal with thier master having agoraphobia, which is the fear of open spaces or places someone cant easily escape from? Its like the oposite of claustrophobia basically.
Ayyy, a number of years ago I worked for a guy that had agoraphobia. He’d pretty much go to the shop or stay home and go nowhere else if he could avoid it.
I’m wondering if you’re requesting this because you, yourself, have agoraphobia, Anon. I appreciate your willingness to share that with me and give me a shot to write about it. Since I do say I’m willing to give mental health-related pieces so long as nobody takes it as a monolith.
I hope this finds you well and that it reassures you a little.
This was available July 12th on Patreon.
(A Few) Servants With An Agoraphobic Master
Abigail Williams: Of the Servants that effectively live with Master’s agoraphobia, Abby is among the most compassionate. There are plenty of things that Abby is terrified of—many of which are things others couldn’t possibly imagine.
Abby tries to make Master’s life easier in little ways that she is capable of. She adapts outdoor activities for indoor settings. Anything that needs to be done out of the house, she learns how to handle via Master’s nifty technology. She’s quite adept at ordering food.
In the Holy Grail War, Abby doesn’t want to bring violence into Master’s safest places. It’s hard to balance Master’s security and her own insecurities, but she’s a big girl. She’ll go out on her own to fight if she needs to. Between technology and their Master-Servant bond, she’ll never feel alone wherever she goes. She’ll bring Master whatever they need so they can return to reading books and enjoying each other’s company.
Jinako Carigiri: At first, Jinako views Master’s agoraphobia rather selfishly. Master can’t complain about what a NEET she is if they’re also kind of a NEET. It’d be totally hypocritical for them to judge her, right?
Nope, not right. It takes a while for her to realize she’s being an ass, but she’s definitely being an ass. She knew she was selfish, but this went right over her head. And honestly, why should she be surprised by her shit take? She views things through the lens of her own comfort. How is she supposed to handle anybody else?
Jinako slowly warms up to the idea of being less of a loaf. Not because she expects it to change Master’s fears or feelings. Phobias are a serious thing. She doesn’t know how she didn’t recognize it before when her own NEET status grew from her anxieties. She sucks at being perfectly considerate, but she gives it her best shot. There is nothing on the planet that could breach her protective shell, and she’ll extend that to Master as long as she can. There is nothing she can’t protect them from as long as they stay in one place.
EMIYA (Assassin): Assassin’s relationship with Master is simple. They give orders, he executes them. He never once questions Master’s condition. It’s not his business. He doesn’t need to know them personally to follow instructions. Something, though… Something nags at him.
They don’t nag him verbally, but their presence gets to him. He finds himself increasingly agitated by their circumstances. How wrong it is that such a young person finds themselves in a Holy Grail War when they suffer a condition that ensures their battles will always be uphill. It’s not like he minds. If anything, Master’s agoraphobia will benefit him from a tactical perspective. But he’s not happy.
He had someone once—twice, thrice perhaps—he felt obligated to protect with his life. A family, maybe. People he feared for. Those long-clipped heartstrings are the tiniest bit tugged with this Master. He’ll never tell them, lest it put their safety at risk, but… This contract is more mutually-beneficial than he was willing to hope for.

I know this is kind of the thirst tag but can we like, have a discussion about the whole Daedra Coven lore so far? I feel like we need to try and understand this spooky lore.
and of course by lore i mean literally one line plus the ring thing, which I have analyzed by possibly grasping at straws
Theo’s made out to be the most book-smart one of the Burns and I recall he’s the one who recognizes the ring on Oliver’s finger as from “a Daedra Coven”. So they seem to be known, at least to hunters. What could that mean? There’s also the general look of concern/horror the Burns brothers have about it, even before they remove the ring and it starts dragging out this endless presumably-magical string.
It might be because Oliver’s a vampire who they’re torturing, but they also use like, pliers to remove the ring as if it were this spooky thing. And the Daedra Coven thing seems to be something scary to them? Unless it’s because of his blood, though we only see them stab him in the chest, not the hands.
Also, re-watching, pretty sure they said it’s a Daedra Coven, which implies that’s a category, not a specific group. Like how Legacies are a type of vampire, but there are different families of Legacies.
So presumably Carmen is a witch who belongs to one of multiple Daedra Covens, like how different Legacy vampires who belong to different Legacy houses.
As for what it might be, well, here are my notes and points of discussion:
Exactly what does “bound to a witch” even imply?
So we’ve established these Daedra Covens have symbols that are recognizable, at least enough for a ring to be identified as such on sight.
Theo: Wait. I’ve seen that mark before.
Apollo: What? His ring?
Theo: It’s witchcraft.
Not sure if Theo stopped Apollo from trying to use the saw on Oliver just because he wanted a closer look at the ring, or if trying to cut him up with a saw would have been a bad idea because of the ring.
Also, the pliers thing, they literally grab the ring with pliers like it’s the plague or something. To be fair, he’s their vampire prisoner, but still.
They seem generally creeped out already, even before the string starts coming out and Oliver laughs, but then there’s the rest.
Theo: It’s from a Daedra Coven. He’s bound to a witch?
Oliver: Her name’s Carmen. We haven’t really put a label on anything just yet.
And as Theo says that, even before Oliver replies, the brothers seem to be getting increasingly into their WTF faces, culminating with them just slowly turning to look at each other while Oliver laughs. Like, if you can rewatch that moment, tell me that doesn’t look like the brothers exchanging a look that’s a mix between a WTF and an “oh ****” look? So that has to a significant thing.
First off, the binding thing seems to horrify the Burns but Oliver himself seems more than okay with it, laughing about it while they’re freaking out. And by Oliver’s vibes, if the binding gives Carmen any sort of power over him, it seems like he’d definitely enjoy that fact.
But in more solid terms as for what such a binding might even mean, first there’s the obvious. When they try to remove the ring, there’s a string still attached to Oliver that just runs from under his skin when they keep pulling. The scene ends soon after but we don’t actually get to see the thread end, though Oliver does joke that he has a thread loose and he doesn’t seem to have it when Talia interrogates him privately (he has on Episode 5, though).
Beyond the physical ring, though, the lack of the ring itself doesn’t seem to be keeping Carmen from finding him. Oliver recognizes the storm as Carmen’s power, either because he’s seen it before or because he knows it’s her. Carmen also seems to know Oliver’s in trouble despite him presumably having no way to communicate that since he’d been taken.
If the ring and physical string mattered, it might be in relation to Carmen’s access to him, since after Oliver grabs the string he just disappears after jumping.
I’m pretty sure whatever their binding is connects them, though, because why else would she stop the car with Juliette and Cal on their way there? Only Oliver really knows about the attempted hostage exchange, unless Carmen’s otherwise been spying on everyone. The string she tosses also casually makes it all the way to Oliver, and he doesn’t hesitate to throw himself off the roof.
Were the Fairmonts in some way aware of Oliver’s involvement with witchcraft?
We don’t know how long Oliver has been involved with Carmen, if it started before or after his exile, but when Oliver is in the roof in Episode 4, there’s this conversation. Margot says she’s there to talk to her son, who as far as the Burns know was just currently their hostage.
Margot: Enough with the cheap tricks, Oliver.
Oliver: Oh, I wouldn’t call her that.
Margot: Why are you doing this?
Implying that Margot’s aware of Oliver being involved with witchcraft? This should be about the current situation he’s in, AKA having just been captured and tortured by hunters, but somehow Margot decides to open with that tricks comment.
And I might be reading too much into it, but if witches are a known thing in this universe, perhaps they aren’t taken seriously? But if the whole Daedra Coven thing is a big deal, then Carmen might be on a different league in terms of power. She seemed to be making a fairly spooky storm on her way to get him back.
Not sure whether his parents even know specifically about Carmen prior to this though. But, once again grasping at straws, it seems even Margot seems to find these ambiguously witchy things unsettling.
Judging by his general demeanor and his whole consent joke soon before the ring and string are revealed, I don’t think Oliver would be involved with Carmen and her witchcraft if he weren’t fully willing. And when he grabs the string Carmen tossed into the air, he seems generally pleased about it, especially for someone who’d presumably still been in pain from the silver chains until mere moments before. So she has to be a positive figure to him.
Plus, like, he legit throws himself off the roof while laughing so he has to implicitly trust Carmen to grab him (be it some magic string teleportation or if she was just flying around and caught him, idk, this series is cheesy enough I could see witches flying around).
If it was known that he’s involved with this witch from a Daedra Coven spooky thing, and people in-universe fear Daedra Covens, could that have played a factor in his exile? I don’t necessarily think it did since he seems to blame his exile on Elinor but can’t be ruled out imo.
What are Daedra Coven witches?
So Oliver aside, moving on to Carmen. She’s a witch from a Daedra Coven, but what does that mean? I've speculated they might be especially spooky witches, but there seem to be some implications for them having ties to demons/elementals or being those?
Juliette: What do you think that was back there on the road?
Calliope: Some sort of demon. Maybe an elemental.
Cal’s a hunter so she must know more of the lore than we do, and for those to be the two options, could demons and elementals be related?
Of course, we know it wasn’t just that. They later recognize Carmen when they see her with Oliver, though they don’t call her a witch like the Burns brothers did.
Carmen certainly matches the description of an elemental, though she also just casually needs a liver for a potion so ???
There’s that scene in Episode 7 after Jules calls him saying she and Cal need to hide, when Carmen and Oliver start making out and knock down the stacked tarot cards on the table, Oliver’s hand lands on the devil card. Now, I don’t have the tarot knowledge to interpret what that might be trying to imply. I’m under the impression it’s not literally devils, but the camera sure seems to be trying to make sure we see that card.
Overall, I’m pretty sure of the fact that Daedra Covens appear to be feared in-universe at the very least.
What’s Carmen and Oliver’s plan with all those monsters?
Like, yeah, to “ruin some lives” but that is very ambiguous.
As much as Oliver admits he’s doing whatever “this” is for both love and revenge, what’s the love part? Does Carmen have any plans, maybe involving her Coven, that he’d help her with out of love? Or does he think that by ruining lives he’s helping those he loves, in general?
There’s also the fact that while I don’t doubt they’re aware they’ve done evil stuff, with both of them playing part in Ashley’s death, but they also seem to think they’re the ones in the right.
Carmen: Juliette’s coming around?
Oliver: My little sister’s finally seeing the light.
In comparison to what? The Legacy vampires? It generally does have vibes like they see themselves as the ones who know what’s good and others are wrong.
Some of the monsters on their backyard also looked very, very humanoid eh. Maybe they want to ruin the lives of people who are a threat to sentient/humanoid monsters in general, and that might include Legacy vampires if they have some history of pushing them down? Like, Legacy vampires clearly have an ego over made vampires, so presumably they see everything else as lesser.
Or maybe Carmen’s Daedra Coven has a history in Savannah, either of bringing the monsters or being wronged by people there, and Oliver’s helping her with that. I don’t see how these monsters would help with his revenge against Elinor. And I also don’t think Oliver wants to go out of his way to hurt the rest of his family if he can avoid it, seeing as he seems desperate for a chance at Sebastian and Margot believing him.
There’s also what he says after Sebastian strangles him.
Oliver: Tell Jules she knows where to find me. And I know where to find you.
That really has the tropey vibes of “if I wanted to hurt you”, eh? Like, he’s definitely angry, and I don’t think they took that comment seriously, but still.
So those are my thoughts for now. I honestly probably forgot something considering how much I have been overthinking this Daedra thing for the past days. Please share your thoughts and discuss because I am in a hyperfixation crisis over Oliver and Carmen and must discuss them to survive thank you

Note
*Notices a speed dating pamphlet* this gives me an idea
After Rarity had returned to her work, promising Boom to clean and repair his torn and stained cloak, Boom, now wearing the new cloak, which, to him, unfortunately, did not feel nearly as comfortable as his trusty cloak, looked around, and, stuck underneath a pile of other papers next to him, found a small note, advertising a dating event, with a great focus placed on speed.
Eyeing the note, an idea popped in his mind, after which he neatly folded up the note and kept it close, shortly after which Rarity exited the room, Boom's old cloak in tow, returning a few minutes later, explaining that she had just finished the restoration, and, when she left the room, she made sure to clean the cloak, which was now hanging on a clothesline, in the back of the Boutique.
Both Pinkie and Boom stood rose from their seats and thanked Rarity for her kindness and her generosity, not only for making Boom a completely new cloak, but also restoring his old cloak alongside it, to which she chuckled and replied that it was her pleasure, though, since it would take a while for the cloak to dry, she told them that she would bring it when it finished drying.
Before they left the boutique, they told Rarity they were heading to Ponyville Palace, when she plucked the both of them off the street, dragging them into the store, which Boom still had slightly sore hooves from, causing Rarity to blush and laugh nervously, explaining that her passion sometimes causes her to act inappropriately, after which she politely apologised.
The two chaotic beings accepted her apology and thanked her, then left the Boutique to head towards the Castle, though, while they were on their way, Boom occasionally looked back anxiously towards the Boutique, apparently unable to take his mind off of his cloak, which caused Pinkie to wonder, and she gently asked Boom what was so special about the cloak.
Meanwhile, back in the North, Light and Nox were increasingly struggling to keep up with the smaller, agile, disguised Princesses, both due to their larger frames, but also because of the fact they were continuously stopped to be asked questions by the townsfolk they passed, for they had never seen either a Kirin or Dragon-Pony before, and were mightily impressed at their appearance.
Continuously apologising for not answering many questions, as well as quickly pushing through the growing crowds, eventually, the two lost track of the Princesses, and attempted to call out them, to no avail, which made them stop in the centre of town, next to a large fountain, and discuss a new plan to try and find the Princesses, as they were sure Eclipse would send a message any moment.
Fortunately, thanking the stars above, both Feather and Dewdrop appeared from the crowd, happily waving to Nox and Light, who breathed a great sigh of relief, and, having to bend down to the two small mares, Nox told them that they wouldn't be able to keep up with or keep an eye on them, as both she and Light, given their size, wouldn't be able to make their ways through the crowd.
After she said this, as they slowly sank through their legs and gently laid on the ground, meeting the mares at eye level, Light added they did not wish to come across as condescending, only wishing to make it clear that both Nox and they were worried for them, and while they knew how powerful they were, able to handle anything, they wanted to make sure the two Princesses were alright.
A bittersweet smile grew onto the faces of Feather and Dewdrop, and tears formed in their eyes, as they gently hugged Light and Nox, respectively, who hugged them back, and looked at each other, and together, the four sat quietly, until the two young mares let go of Light and Nox, wiped away their tears, and laughed again, after which they thanked them, and promised to stay closer.
Giving the two a smile in return, Light stood up and said:
"Come on, let's find a café. Reckon you two are pretty tired after such a busy morning."
