last night i got to check off a bucket list dream; i saw the cure live thanks to my husband's bday gift to me, back in march for my 45th.

14 year old me was dying, crying... they played BURN. they played CHARLOTTE SOMETIMES (o, but i was rocking & crying & smiling; how strange that song broke my heart back then & i didn't know why... & then i was dx'd autistic 3 years ago & NOW i know why), & they played A FOREST & LULLABY!

also, the twilight sad, who opened, is 584% worth checking out. if NIN & placebo had an angsty child, it would be TTS.

my only regret is not buying some plum or deep berry lippie. this was the first i Wore Makeup in 4 years; my black eyeliner was all but dried out, & all i had for lips was like... my everyday lipsense normal berry.

so, so many elder goths & bb goths... my god it was everything.

also appropriate: it was raining. we were outdoors lol. if it was warmer i'd have 826% danced & danced in it; it was not warm, so K & i were huddled under 2 umbrellas... & then it downpoured for the first 3 cure songs, so he dropped $10 on shitty-ass ponchos.

i still wouldn't change a thing. 🖤

There's this really cool girl who goes to my school. I've known her since freshman year and we were good friends for a while. But I stopped hanging around her and her group second semester of sophomore year (last January) so I only say hi to her if I see her. She's changed a lot since then. She still loves all her nerdy geeky stuff but had a MAJOR glow up. She's altgoth I think and she's very pretty and cool. She vapes and smokes tho. Dirk Lalonde (Rose-ways) is such a powerful concept.

Picture if you will:

His shades swapped out for purple polarised lenses, and maybe a purple (extermely)wide brimed sun hat for his shirt logo. He'd have a altgoth motif in terms of style, maybe more tattoos and piercings to match.

He'd be hardcore into tech and magic, though he'd claim his love for the mystic arts would be purely ironic and for the japes. But he'd totally learn spells and hexes he'd find online.

Instead of puppets he'd have an attraction to voodoo and porcelain dolls. His strife specibus could be either a bo staff he turns into a wizard staff in the game like Rose did with her needle wands (im picturing donnie's staff from rottmnt) or a fencing rapier which reminisces the pins he'd use on his voodoo dolls.

He'd probably be into fashion, I mean he'd make and collect voodoo dolls, of course the guy would be able to tailor clothing to fit on their tiny bodies. His favourite pony from mlp would be Rarity cause shes so classy and elegant, and unicorns are known for their magic.
