Now let’s do the alternate spellings of Chimera.
The common spelling is キメラ, Kimera. This is used in:
Little Chimera
Dark Chimera
Chimeratech Overdragon
Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon
DZW - Chimera Clad
Chimeratech Rampage Dragon
Predaplant Chimerafflessia
Duelittle Chimera
Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon
Gimmick Puppet Chimera Doll
Dinowrestler Chimera T Wrextle
Cyberdark Chimera
The less common spelling is キマイラ, Kimaera, which is based off the proper Greek spelling of the word, Chimaera.
Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast
Wattchimera
Scrap Chimera
Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon
Frightfur Chimera
Number 5: Doom Chimera Dragon
Diplexer Chimera
Vendread Chimera
Salamangreat Violet Chimera
Guardian Chimera
Chimera the Phantom Beast King
Chimera the Illusion Magical Beast
Chimera Fusion
****
In both cases, the association with Fusion is clear, since Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast is one of the first Fusions of the manga. Association with evil for the Kimera spelling comes from Player Killer of Darkness’s Dark Chimera.
Chimaera, the Master of Beasts, an old Tournament Prize card, has no Japanese name, because it was never released in OCG (it is still found in the OCG database with its English name, and lore.)
Current Chimera theme uses the second spelling, of course.
Vector’s Number 5 variants likely uses the Greek spelling since his past life was Greek, though Sora’s Frightfur Chimera is direct reference to Yugi, and direct disassociation with Kimera spelling, likely to showcase he is not truly evil.

Over the Nexus Deck Profile: Ancient Gear
Tumblr media
Ancient Gears are a classic GX archetype, and they exemplify what such an archetype is usually like; it was played in the anime, but in the TCG most or all of the cards were unplayably bad, with decks based around said archetype centering around only the best monsters within it, and filling the rest of the space with staples. For Ancient Gears, their deck revolves around their field spell, Geartown. Geartown, however, is not like other archetypal field spells; rather than wanting to keep it on the field for as long as possible, Ancient Gears want that field spell destroyed to activate its secondary effect: If it is destroyed, Geartown lets you summon an Ancient Gear monster from your hand, deck, or graveyard, and that monster is typically Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon. With 3000 attack and the ability to ignore backrow when it attacks, Gadjiltron Dragon is an incredibly powerful monster to summon for such a cheap condition. Geartown benefits significantly from an old ruling; if you set a field spell face down when you have one active already, the old one is destroyed. In short, by setting another field spell, we can easily destroy Geartown and summon Gadjiltron Dragon for free. This deck also capitalizes on how the NPC decks in Over the Nexus usually don't play Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, allowing it to play Cyber Dragon, once one of a Machine deck's greatest assets, without fear. And because this is a Machine deck, we have ready access to Machina Fortress, paired with Machina Gearframe, which works especially well in this deck given the large amount of high level Machines we can discard. And if all THAT wasn't enough, playing a field spell means we have access to Malefic Cyber End Dragon, possibly the biggest "free" special summon available. In short, this deck excels at summoning huge Machine monsters rapidly and winning through sheer offensive force. Class is in session, don't be a slacker! MONSTERS (19): Ancient Gear Beast x3 Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon x2 Ancient Gear Golem x2 Cyber Dragon x3 Machina Fortress x3 Machina Gearframe x3 Malefic Cyber End Dragon x3 SPELLS (16): Dark Hole x1 Future Fusion x1 Geartown x3 Limiter Removal x1 Monster Reborn x1 Overload Fusion x1 Pot of Duality x3 Power Bond x2 Terraforming x3 TRAPS (5): Solemn Judgment x1 Solemn Warning x2 Starlight Road x1 Torrential Tribute x1 EXTRA DECK: Chimeratech Fortress Dragon x3 Chimeratech Overdragon x1 Cyber End Dragon x3 Cyber Twin Dragon x1 Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem x2 Ancient Fairy Dragon x1 Black Rose Dragon x1 Red Dragon Archfiend x1 Scrap Dragon x1 Stardust Dragon x1

Hey! I'm back with another request. This can be with any of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster boys but how do you think they would react to losing to their s/o in a duel? (except for Yami, he always wins lol)
(did someone say all da bois? No? okay..)
Tumblr media
~Yugi Muto:
You knew you couldn't win against him, but you wanted to try anyway so you challenged him to a duel.
The duel lasted a while, you put up a good fight with a nice collection of traps, and magic cards.
And he almost had you till you summoned your favorite card Red-Eyes Slash Dragon and finished off his Dark Magician wiping out the rest of his Lps.
At first he was stunned, but after a few seconds he cheered for you and gave you a big hug and kiss. He was so proud of you that he couldn't contain it
Tumblr media
~Yami Yugi:
You always heard of great of duelist Yami was from everyone (*cough* Kaiba *cough*) and you wanted to see it first hand so you challenged him to a duel.
Throughout the duel he was very passionate and it made you fall harder for him, but while you were too busy drooling over him you did realize that he was purposely slipping.
So when you won you were surprised….did you really just beat Yami???
While you were stunned Yami shrugged, and went over to pat you head “Congratulations my love, you won.”  he kissed the top of your head and walked away.
(you stayed there for awhile wondering what just happened.)
Tumblr media
~Joey Wheeler/Jounouchi Katsuya:
All he wanted to do was show off to you, so he challenged you to duel (the deal was if he won he would get a kiss out of you) you accepted to humor him.
So when you used enemy controller and took his Red-Eyes black dragon and used it to beat him he was shocked.
The shock didn't last long as he started boasting about you might be as good of a duelist as him. He was so proud of you that he wrapped you in a tight hug and left kisses all over your face.
He even started talking about tournaments, he would have kept going if you didn't silence him with a kiss.
Tumblr media
~Tristan Taylor/Hiroto Honda:
So tristan still wasn't the best when it came to dueling, so he figured a friendly duel between the two of you could sharpen his skills a bit.
What he wasnt counting on was your sharpening skills and you beating him in the end. When threw one last blow at his LPs he blinked a couple times before rubbing the back of his neck
“Guess I still need practice, but you did amazingly! You should teach me some of your tricks!”
Thus two of you spent the rest of the night cuddling, and you telling him some of your tricks
Tumblr media
~Duke Devlin/Ryuji Otogi:
Duke decided today was the day he was gonna teach you how to play Dungeon Dice Monsters. He knew everything about the game so there was no way he was gonna lose (he would also get to make it up to you in cuddles).
However you proved him wrong when you were able to not only block his path, make one to his heart points, but wipe them out with Mystical Knight of Jackal he was sure of to feel.
He was stunned for several minutes after the duel that YOU had to consult him, and tell him it was probably beginner's luck.
The two of you spent the rest of the night cuddling (and you praising him)
Tumblr media
~Seto Kaiba:
You were already a well known duelist, not as big as Kaiba or Yugi, but your name was up there. So he decided to put you to the test one day and challenged you to a duel.
At first he seemed to have this dule in the bag with his blue eyes ultimate dragon on the field, until the enemy controller took over his blue eyes and whipped out his LPs.
Mokuba was the only one to congratulate you saying “I expect nothing less from my brother so!”
Seto vowed to beat you, and that was just luck then left the room. (He came back later that night and demanded cuddle time)
Tumblr media
~ Bakura Ryou:
You heard Bakura dueled but never saw it for yourself, so one day you challenged him to a friendly duel.
The duel was fun and casual as the two of you went back and forth with turns, but in the end you won with your Nine-Tailed Fox. he smiled wide at you and congratulated you on winning.
(Yami was upset that he let you win)
The two of later went out for food, and he talked about your strategies and how you could improve them
Tumblr media
~Yami Bakura:
Being with Yami Bakura you had to learn to protect yourself in a duel (especially if Marik was involved). So in order to test your skills he challenged you to a duel.
The duel was very close since he wasn't holding back, so when you beat him with Amaterasu he was surprised.
But that surprised melted into a wicked grin you truly were worthy of his affections.
From there he started putting you in his plans to battle the Pharaoh and his friends.
Tumblr media
~Marik Ishtar:
Even though you were his S/O he wanted you as a rare hunter. Your trusting face and personality were great for undercover work. So he challenged you to duel (leaving Ra out).
You had brains to match that beauty of yours as you backed him to a corner with your trap and spell cards till you finally summoned Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon and finished off his LPs.
With you overwhelming victory he knew he chose not only the right S/O, but the right rare hunter.
That night he spoke sweet nothings to you encouraging you to do his bidding without the mind control
Tumblr media
~Yami Marik:
When Yami Marik challenged you to a duel not only did he want to test you will, but if you ended up losing you would be sent to the shadow realm to fuel his power.
When you won with Archfiend Emperor, The First Lord of Horror he began laughing almost uncontrollably.
“You will not fuel my power today love, but you do fuel the passion”
You spent the rest of the night with him as he praised your ability to beat him.

When it comes to boss monsters Harpies didn't have a solid one for the main deck. We had to rely on monsters of our type, attribute and, hell an effect to take advantage of with our own cards. So that's why these guys are here it may not be relatable to some but to those who it is. They know my past for a boss monster isn't easy but I hope for the best in the future. Over the Nexus Deck Profile: Malefic World
Tumblr media
Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time was a movie that was likely unbearable to watch, UNLESS you were already a big fan of Yugioh. This movie introduced the Malefic archetype, a series of monsters with big attack stats that are easily summoned from the hand. Sounds great, right? But there are a few problems with them. Like the Earthbound Immortals, Malefics require a Field Spell in order to survive, and like the Meklords, summoning them locks all other monsters out of attacking. Summoning a 4000 attack Malefic Cyber End Dragon on your first turn is great, until your opponent sets a monster facedown and you realize as long as they keep setting monsters, you can't get at their life points. Fortunately, these issues are sort of resolved by Malefic World, a field spell that lets you choose three Malefic cards from your deck and randomly add one of them to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw. This allows us to not only quickly access our Malefic monsters, but also Malefic Claw Stream, a trap that lets us destroy a monster the opponent controls if we control a Malefic monster. Another important feature of this deck is Skill Drain, which prevents the Malefics from destroying themselves and locking your other monsters from attacking, which isn't as good as it sounds because you can still only control one Malefic monster at a time, but it works for this deck's other monsters, namely Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, and Trident Dragion, which we can make using Malefic Stardust Dragon and Dread Dragon. Duels with a Malefic deck are slow, but the upside is you're usually in control for most of the time. Let's go make the 5D's timeline even more confusing than it already was! MONSTERS (15): Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon x1 Dark Armed Dragon x1 Dread Dragon x3 Malefic Cyber End Dragon x3 Malefic Parallel Gear x2 Malefic Stardust Dragon x3 Malefic Truth Dragon x2 SPELLS (16): Allure of Darkness x1 Dark Hole x1 Geartown x3 Malefic World x3 Mystical Space Typhoon x2 Pot of Duality x3 Terraforming x3 TRAPS (9): Deck Devastation Virus x2 Malefic Claw Stream x3 Skill Drain x2 Solemn Judgment x1 Torrential Tribute x1 EXTRA DECK: Chimeratech Fortress Dragon x3 Cyber End Dragon x3 Malefic Paradox Dragon x3 Stardust Dragon x3 Trident Dragion x3
