i have images for every archetype on the list now, but i lost track of time and ended up staying up way too late. oops.
Don't worry about having missed the submission window or something like that! No matter how many submissions I get, i'll figure out some way to make it work. and once i decide when to stop taking submissions, i'll be sure to make it clear to everyone when that will be ahead of time.
here's the current list, by the way!
key:
bold: someone has specifically submitted it and it will not be deleted except in special cases
italic: i put it in myself and there is the chance it will be deleted to make the number of entrants more convienent
Since i copypasted it the formatting may be messed up a bit. sorry.
there's also a document where i keep this info and more up-to-date so check that out

Here’s Paradox’s dialogue with Yusei, which, you guessed it, recaps another Bonds Beyond Time turn! He has the most dialogue with characters from the 5Ds era.
Paradox: I'll send Cyber End Dragon from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard. Which means Malefic Cyber End Dragon now appears!
Yusei: You sent a monster from the Extra Deck directly to your Graveyard?
Paradox: Yes - that’s how I’m allowed to Special Summon my Malefic monsters.
Yami Yugi: In other words, by destroying a monster’s good version, he can give life to its bad. It seems Paradox only sees the dark side in Duel Monsters.
Paradox: It’s your turn.
Yusei: Jaden...Yugi...We know what’s at stake here. Our friends, our family our very future - it all hangs in the balance in this Duel. We may have all just met and may not know each other's duel styles and strategies. But even so, we have to fight as one. Let's focus our skills to this one common cause!
Jaden/Yubel: You said it!
Yami Yugi: Agreed, Yusei. And I think you should be the one to start us off!
Yusei: Right! Here we go! Just as Yugi, Jaden, and I are combining our might, these monsters are combining theirs! I Synchro Summon! Junk Gardna!
Yami Yugi: Synchro what?
Jaden: I dunno, but I like it! Too cool!
Paradox: If that's the best you can do, you might as well just give up here and now. Your decks are no match for mine - not since I snatched Yusei's Stardust Dragon!

Over the Nexus Deck Profile: Malefic World
Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time was a movie that was likely unbearable to watch, UNLESS you were already a big fan of Yugioh. This movie introduced the Malefic archetype, a series of monsters with big attack stats that are easily summoned from the hand. Sounds great, right? But there are a few problems with them. Like the Earthbound Immortals, Malefics require a Field Spell in order to survive, and like the Meklords, summoning them locks all other monsters out of attacking. Summoning a 4000 attack Malefic Cyber End Dragon on your first turn is great, until your opponent sets a monster facedown and you realize as long as they keep setting monsters, you can't get at their life points. Fortunately, these issues are sort of resolved by Malefic World, a field spell that lets you choose three Malefic cards from your deck and randomly add one of them to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw. This allows us to not only quickly access our Malefic monsters, but also Malefic Claw Stream, a trap that lets us destroy a monster the opponent controls if we control a Malefic monster. Another important feature of this deck is Skill Drain, which prevents the Malefics from destroying themselves and locking your other monsters from attacking, which isn't as good as it sounds because you can still only control one Malefic monster at a time, but it works for this deck's other monsters, namely Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, and Trident Dragion, which we can make using Malefic Stardust Dragon and Dread Dragon. Duels with a Malefic deck are slow, but the upside is you're usually in control for most of the time. Let's go make the 5D's timeline even more confusing than it already was!

Come to think, Cyberdarks do have one thing that can’t easily be replaced by Malefic-ing Cyber End instead: pinching dragon people’s prized monsters.

It is Thuban HC time bc I love this bastard, oops
re: playfully murdering people. Duel Monsters don’t die. They go to the graveyard, they can just be brought right back (and indeed, that’s kind of Cydra’s playstyle right now), and even if they aren’t, they’re back next game. So Thuban’s take on being killed is just ‘mild inconvenience’. Plus Academia kind of encourages murder anyway, and Thuban is nothing if not a poster child for Academia Monster Conduct™.
On their inception: Cyber End Dragon didn’t really have much in the way of a Duel Spirit before Academia’s ‘doctors’ started torturing Ryo. Not only did the pain bring Cyber End’s spirit forth to tell them to knock it off, but it eventually split them into Cyber End and Malefic (and we can guess who inherited all the desire to kill those torturing Academia fucks).

Eater of Millions
————————————————
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 5 or more cards from your hand, field and/or Extra Deck, face-down. This card gains 100 ATK/DEF for each face-down banished card. This card cannot be Tributed, nor used as material for a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Summon. Once per turn, at the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can banish that opponent's monster, face-down.
————————————————
Can Be Found In: Raging Tempest (RATE-EN032), 2017 Mega-Tin Mega Pack (MP17-EN196), Battles of Legend: Relentless Revenge (BLRR-EN078)
Nomi monsters often require special conditions for their summon, to the point that in some cases they require an entire Deck arround them. However, even if the summoning cost can be a big loss of resources, the results can become worth the effort. Some monsters pretty much lead the entire Duel upon arrival, while others can work along the resources spent for the summon. While nowadays very few nomi monsters are seen in competitive play, those that stay in current Decks obviously provides some strong results to their user.
"Eater of Millions" is a nomi monster that gained some prevalence in some Decks thanks to its diverse abilities and uses. "Eater of Millions" can only be summoned by banishing face-down five or more cards from our hand, field, or Extra Deck. "Eater of Millions" cannot be tributed whatsoever as well not become a material for Fusion, Synchron, and/or Xyz Summons. However, "Eater of Millions" stats will gain 100 for each face-down banished card in the game (Including those spent in its summon), and when battling a monster it will immediately banish it face-down before Damage Step. Overall, despite in most cases not having impressive stats to deal damage with "Eater of Millions" can take care of many powerful monsters on its own as virtually nullifies most ways to recover it, and despite some other flaws it has some other valuable uses in builds able to work arround its mechanics.
With a quite heavy summon condition "Eater of Millions" won't be suitable for most Decks out there, but those capable to add it to their strategy they can obtain a monster pretty much free to create havoc and other goals arround it. Since "Eater of Millions" gives us the option to banish cards in our Extra Deck, themes that barely depend on it can easily add this monster and pretty much summon it for free. By running three copies of "Eater of Millions", we can spend all fifteen cards (Or more if we manage some Pendulum Monsters) as the Duel progresses as we focus more on our monsters in the Main Deck. Overall is extremely preferable to spend our Extra Deck on summoning "Eater of Millions", as spending cards in our hand or field will become huge losses for our future turns.
The main goal of "Eater of Millions" is to enter into battle against other monsters, as its effect will automatically banish them with very few chances for the opponent to get them back. This fortunately makes managing its stats not much of a priority, as despite its own summon (And other copies) as well cards like "Pot of Desires" and "Evenly Matched" assisting this effect "Eater of Millions" will be more focused on battling other monsters rather assuring a solid direct attack. However, the cost of this summon and other banishing mechanics can assist other cards arround similar goals, from increasing the stats of "Gren Maju Da Eiza" to recycling cards by "Necroface" as gets stronger. Some Decks like those arround Malefic will solely use the Extra Deck as currency, pressuring the opponent as they swarm the board with "Eater of Millions" and powerful creatures such as "Malefic Cyber End Dragon". Finally, despite the several limitations of "Eater of Millions" in a material role it doesn't stop us from using it for Link Summons, so we can spare some Extra Deck monsters for its arrival and follow with one of many Link Monsters along the right preparatives.
"Eater of Millions" might have some heavy demerits to become a staple choice in most Decks, as even though we can spend Extra Deck cards on its arrival not every player will work with filler cards for this cost alone. But those that barely or never touch their Extra Deck will gain a free Special Summon, capable of banishing any monster in battles despite its poor stats in most Duels, as well work in Link Summons with the monsters we'll prioritize in our Extra Deck. While "Eater of Millions" has an assured spot in various builds that only need a few or no Extra Deck monsters to play with, just keep on mind that its battle effect is available once per turn as thus the opponent might bluff or sacrifice one of their monsters to take down and deal high damage. Nonetheless, if your playstyle barely requires the abuse of the Extra Deck like many popular Decks nowadays, "Eater of Millions" will provide strong results in one way or another with barely any expenses for it.
Personal Rating: A-
+ Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each face-down banished card
+ One per turn banishes face-down any monster that battles with it
+ Pretty much a free nomi summon in Decks that don't rely in the Extra Deck
- Poor stats in most situations
- Cannot be tributed or used as material except for Link Summon
- The opponent might bluff its battle effect

And here’s Paradox’s dialogue with Zane and Jesse, who are also furious he stole their monsters! If Joey and Kaiba showed up too it’d be a multiversal beatdown XD
Zane: ................
Paradox: You’re challenging me? Even though you no longer have your Cyber End Dragon?
Zane: There’s more to my Cyber Style than just one dragon.
Paradox: Oh really. Then allow me to crush your confidence.
Zane: No, you’re the one who’s going to be crushed. When victory is in my hands. When you stole my dragon, you left before our Duel ended because you knew you couldn’t defeat me.
Paradox: You’re wrong. I left because all I wanted was your Cyber End Dragon.
Zane: And all I want is to win. I won’t let you escape this time! Not until I’m victorious!
Paradox: Very well - but I’m the one winning this Duel! You are powerless against my Malefics!
Zane: Heh heh heh...All your talk is going to make my win much more glorious.
Jesse: Hold it right there, Paradox!
Paradox: I’m surprised you were able to track me down.
Jesse: How dare you use my Rainbow Dragon to create all this chaos!
Paradox: Chaos? Sigh...Here I thought you were someone who understood me, Jesse.
Jesse: What do you mean?
Paradox: I know what’s in your heart. You want to save the world, correct? If so, you and I are on the same page. I’m using Rainbow Dragon to save the future.
Jesse: What!?
Paradox: A small sacrifice for the greater cause. I’m sure you can understand that.
Jesse: No, I can’t understand that at all!
Paradox: What you believe to be right is actually wrong. And what is wrong is actually right. Think about it. Are you telling me that this world you live in is perfect?
Jesse: For someone who thinks he knows everything about me, you don’t know the most important thing! It’s that I want to save everyone! EVERYONE! If there’s even one victim to save the world, that’s not the right way to do it!
Paradox: If you believe you know the right way, then prove it. But since you no longer have your Rainbow Dragon, you have no chance against my Malefics!
Jesse: You don’t know that for sure until we Duel! C’mon, everyone! It’s time to save the world!

Over the Nexus Deck Profile: Ancient Gear
Ancient Gears are a classic GX archetype, and they exemplify what such an archetype is usually like; it was played in the anime, but in the TCG most or all of the cards were unplayably bad, with decks based around said archetype centering around only the best monsters within it, and filling the rest of the space with staples. For Ancient Gears, their deck revolves around their field spell, Geartown. Geartown, however, is not like other archetypal field spells; rather than wanting to keep it on the field for as long as possible, Ancient Gears want that field spell destroyed to activate its secondary effect: If it is destroyed, Geartown lets you summon an Ancient Gear monster from your hand, deck, or graveyard, and that monster is typically Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon. With 3000 attack and the ability to ignore backrow when it attacks, Gadjiltron Dragon is an incredibly powerful monster to summon for such a cheap condition. Geartown benefits significantly from an old ruling; if you set a field spell face down when you have one active already, the old one is destroyed. In short, by setting another field spell, we can easily destroy Geartown and summon Gadjiltron Dragon for free. This deck also capitalizes on how the NPC decks in Over the Nexus usually don't play Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, allowing it to play Cyber Dragon, once one of a Machine deck's greatest assets, without fear. And because this is a Machine deck, we have ready access to Machina Fortress, paired with Machina Gearframe, which works especially well in this deck given the large amount of high level Machines we can discard. And if all THAT wasn't enough, playing a field spell means we have access to Malefic Cyber End Dragon, possibly the biggest "free" special summon available. In short, this deck excels at summoning huge Machine monsters rapidly and winning through sheer offensive force. Class is in session, don't be a slacker!

Some Duelwin things, because I might as well give people context:
He’s a duel spirit who, like others in the D/D/D archetype, was born from the soul of a great human leader. (Reincarnation AU? Reincarnation AU.)
Whether he has his memories or not is variable, seeing as how precedent shows that even if he doesn’t, there are usually still ways to reobtain them.
His card in Reiji Akaba’s hands, along with the existence of Solid Vision, serve as an anchor to the "real” world/Standard dimension. He takes full advantage of that and prefers hanging around Standard to returning to the D/D/D realm.
His relationship with other D/D/Ds is tense-ish. Mutual respect for the most part. As expected from an archetype made up of kings, there’s a lot of politics happening.
Most of the time he takes on a human appearance and works as a teacher at LDS, which allows him to stick close to and keep an eye on Reiji too. His true form is, well... vaguely gestures at the D/D/D aesthetic.
Being one of Reiji’s duel spirits makes him a Lancer by association, and as someone who both was and is a notable military personality, he’s also personally invested in the ongoing interdimensional war.
(This is where the beef with Malefic Cyber End Dragon comes from.)
May or may not view himself as a father-figure-mentor-person to Reiji. Does Reiji know what Erwin is, beyond just a teacher at LDS? Who knows.

“Wait what do you mean ‘Who am I’?”

Malefic Cyber End Dragon
★★★★★★★★★★
aka: Thuban
Created when Paradox took Cyber End Dragon for a joyride. Got defeated, along with the time traveller, and turned back to normal, but not before Academia got it in their head that they’d quite like to mass produce special summonable 4k beaters. Although, of course, first they had to produce them.
Thuban turned back to the Malefic side - permanently - after a lot of sessions with the Academia’s lovely in-house doctors. And after all that, they still got labelled ‘not worth the effort’ and thrown back into the field. They don’t mind too much, though. Plenty of people to turn into mush in the Xyz Dimension :>
