okay, wait a sec. there's clearly a lot to be discussed about the umbrella academy final season. lots of messed up stuff, things just left hanging, events that occurred which were only given to us as one liners, without any further elaboration about what happened. but right now my biggest query is, how did the durango reach the earth?
the marigold reached it obviously because of reggie and his whole reset plan to bring back his wife, which i just have no way of logically explaining how that is possible, so i won't get into that. but from what abigail explained of founding marigold and durango, i can only assume that these were elements found solely on their planet, or world, or whatever. that world ended, and before it did, reggie sent some marigold flying over to the earth.
but why in the ever loving fuck, would he also send over some durango, which arrived in the most bizzare of places and forms by the way, when he was perfectly aware of the reaction the presence of marigold and durango near each other caused? it literally does not make any sense for him to send over such a volatile material to earth, where he's attempting to create a new life with the assistance of some sweet, glowing marigold.
and let's say he did this purely for the sake of scientific investigation, wanting to know why this element was so deadly. perhaps he wondered if the reactions it caused with marigold could somehow be weaponized. but that also doesn't make sense, because there was no active research taking place on or around jennifer. she was just the random girl found inside a massive squid, around whom reginald would later go on to form an entire town of brainwashed soldiers in order to prevent her from coming into contact with the marigold.
jennifer's presence is in no way helping reggie achieve anything. she is no public figure he would have trouble getting out of the way, though i'm sure no trouble would bother him in the least. she has no family, no big contacts as far as we know. her entire existence, as far as reggie and his goal is concerned, is redundant.
so why, in this timeline, does he just not get fucking rid of her? why, even if ultimately the presence of marigold is the reason everything keeps getting messed up again and again, does he keep that chunk of durango around?
and i swear to god, if the reason for this turns out to be abigail, because she went all like, "oh, she's just a poor, oblivious girl. let's let her be", i will literally reach inside 'the cleanse' to get that pasty ass couple out and unalive them all over again.

you need this, you need us
a/n: honestly? idk, I just scribbled this down and at least now we are one step closer to the goal (aka them just going to fucking town on her) that's just what I wanted to get to and now I feel like we've really jumped into it, that it wouldn't be totally crazy, not too fast anymore to write down the stuff floating around in my brain...

Your quiet moan quickly morphed into a shocked gasp as you bolted up in bed and scurried away from the tongues exploring your neglected centre.
“What are you-, oh my god,” you exclaimed, glaring down at both Steve and Eddie at the foot of your bed.
Wiping the back of his palm over his glossy chin, Steve placed a soft hand over your fleeing shin, “shh, it’s okay, it’s just us,” his tone was so comforting, so reassuring, that your shoulders couldn’t help but begin to relax.
“I-… what are-, what are you doing?”
Crawling up closer, the angel slid in beside where you had pressed yourself against the headboard and brushed some of your wild hair out of your face as the other began to explain, sitting back up as he caught his breath, “we, um, we were just trying to help you,” and when your furrowed brows didn’t relax, Eddie continued in a manner that sounded compassionate on the surface, but had an air of desperation seeping out of the cracks, “sweetheart, you haven’t touched yourself since you first saw us. You should really let us help.”
Keeping your legs closed, you hesitantly turned your head and blinked up into the angel’s soft eyes, the feeling of your arousal still seeping down onto the mattress below caused your panicked breathing to slow down.
“I-, I don’t know…” you glanced from one to the other as Eddie slowly lowered his body back down, inching his face closer to your shut legs.
“Honey, you need this,” Eddie planted a soft peck on your tense muscles, “you need us.”
Glancing up at Steve with wide eyes, you saw him let out a low exhale as he wrapped his arms around you in a gentle hug, a sensation your tense body welcomed warmly.
“You can also just go back to sleep, if that’s what you want,” Steve spoke into your hair.
“Like that’s ever stopped you before,” Eddie laughed.
“Shut up,” Steve snapped.
“What? Am I not allowed to reminisce about old times, big boy? Or do you just not want her to know about what you’ve done? Shatter her perfect perception of what angels are like?”
Rapidly seizing a hand around his partner’s throat, the roadmap of veins becoming more pronounced the harder he squeezed, Steve’s face twitched in fury as he hissed, “I told you to shut the fuck up,” Eddie simply smiled through the struggle as Steve brought his face closer to his own, before ultimately throwing him to the foot of the bed.
“Uh, I love it when you get angry,” Eddie chuckled hoarsely after his small coughing fit was through, “beautiful, love watching you work,” he winked only in an effort to piss him off further. Resting his smug eyes on your wide ones, he drifted them down over your heaving chest, “seems I’m not the only one…” his dark stare drew you in like a magnet, “you like it when he gets mean? Because I promise you that right there was nothing compared to the legends I’ve heard…” he yet again sneaked closer to your centre, which you had unknowingly come to unveiled, your relaxed thighs now parted enough to give the devil on the mattress a good view.
Gently grabbing your chin, Steve ushered you to look at him, “maybe it’s best you just go back to sleep…”
Slowly fluttering your eyes over every part of the angel’s face, his worried brow, his bright eyes and those lips, slightly parted and sucking in sharp, calming breaths. Surprising even yourself, you then tilted your head up and gently pressed your lips against his. Taken aback, it took Steve a moment before you felt his hand brush against the side of your face, the rage melting off of him faster than it had engulfed him.
As the angel’s tongue slid past your lips, the sudden feeling of a pair of ringed fingers strumming through your glistening petals had you letting out a shuttering moan that Steve graciously swallowed, feeling his hand glide down from your cheek to the thin nightgown you wore, needily palming the swell of your breast over the light fabric.
“S-shit,” you whimpered as you pulled back, a string of saliva still keeping you connected as you glanced down at the devil playing with your pussy. Grabbing one of your thighs, Steve yanked it back, granting himself a better view as his partner gasped the opportunity to sink down lower and bury his face yet again in your messy cunt.

A redraw with updated character designs! I was a senior in high school when I drew the first one.
I'm so happy with all the updates and changes we've been making on this comic. Hopefully I can spend the day working on more of the script.
Ultimately, my goal is to finish the comic script. I hope I can get to drawing it all, but if I can't I'd be happy enough with sharing the script. I just gotta get this story out there... we've been working so hard for years on this!
The past couple months we're been going ham on editing and rewriting cringe stuff we wrote in high school for this... And not to toot our own horns, but the storyline goes hard. It's gotten good... 16 year old me would puke at what the story has become. (puke in a good, OMG WE WROTE THIS? sort of way!)
Like??? Okay I'll let you in on a little secret, FOR SOME REASON, Oli, the blonde (previously black and red hair) character, was named BART for the first like 9 years of his existence??? He started off as a joke character and was from a trio of irrelevant characters named Bart, Snart and Tart (cause rhymes were so funny to us at 15) . Somehow his character shot up to being our problematic fav and we gave him a whole personality and stuff and got rid of his rhyming companions.
We just couldn't take him seriously anymore when we finally came back to work on this again... For so long we were hesitant to change any major details about the characters and storylines. We decided to try out new names and settled on Oli, and once we made that change, so many excellent changes and edits came about and the story became something we can actually be proud of now.
AaAAAAaahhh I'm just so passionate about this project right now. I'm so in love with the story and all the characters and I can't wait to share more soon.
If you read this far, BIG MCTHANKIES, you da best! (and I hope I'm making some sense cause I've been up all night working again and I did not proof read any of this!!!! :D)

Been a while since we've heard, how did your readthrough of the Harry Potter books go?
Hey! Ho! I forgot to update on that didn't I? My bad!
I haven't worked out all my feelings about it! The last book was so...odd. I felt frustrated through the whole thing. Most of the books felt like you were waiting to figure stuff out—the main characters would try to get information and solve problems and fail or cause more problems in the process, but there was usually some secondary goal they consistently had hope in. Like, maybe Harry Potter can't figure out who's trying to kill him, and has constant setbacks in that. BUT, their secondary goal, winning the Tri-Wizard Cup, is usually...hopeful. They're usually doing well with one of their two main goals, and then the climax happens, and they lose something important, but ultimately ene on a hopeful note. You know, Harry wins the Tri-Wizard Cup, but Voldemort's back and Cedric is dead, that sort of thing.
But. In the conclusion of the series, it felt like the main characters were getting nowhere, in their primary goals AND their secondary goals, for so long. Then the ending, the pacing of it all, felt rushed. And I didn't love the plot device of the Elder Wand, or how in the climax of the book, when Harry is fighting Voldemort, they stop to have like a twenty-minute conversation about all the exposition the reader needs to know to understand how Harry is about to beat him—and Harry was basically insufferable for the whole book.
that was my initial impression. It might age better if I go back and re-read. I definitely like some of the Messianic notes of Harry dying for everybody—then picking his life back up again to defeat the bad guy once and for all.
and they killed Lupin. Which. He's my favorite I thought he had the most interesting "character arc" of any of the adult characters. It seemed like his biggest fear was inadequacy as a father, heightened by the fact that he's a werewolf, so he thought he'd make his son's life harder and more shameful by even being alive...so as part of that interesting character flaw, Lupin tries to kamikaze by going on the run with Harry. Then he goes back and resolves to live with his wife (who he wrestles with the safety of loving) and child (same wrestling match) because being present as a father and husband is the right thing to do, regardless of how difficult it is for you.
And then he dies anyway.
So it's like. What the heck was the point of that? Makes the lesson he, as a character, was teaching, hollow. Like "Living as a good father is harder than dying a martyr—but I'm dead, so I don't have to worry about that, I guess the thought was what counted."
And people will say to me "nooo he was willing to take risks and sacrifice! He sacrificed his life! To make a better world for his son!"
Yeah okay but we already had self-sacrificial love impacting an orphan's life through the death of parents in the main character. Lily and James Potter did that. Already got that lesson. Now tell a story about how just going on and living your life for someone, say to day, especially when it's hard and they might not thank you for it, is also self-sacrificial. I thought that was the mini-story Lupin's character was telling, on the side of the main plot. But then no, Rowling just repeats herself. She just starts an interesting thing and then finishes it in the least-interesting way.
I feel like one of the basics of storytelling is "create a character that needs to learn something. Then put them through the hardest circumstances so that they're forced to change into what they need to learn." Dying in battle was not Lupin's hardest circumstance. You know what would've been? Killing Tonks, his wife, so that he's forced to raise their son alone and still stay—or keeping them both alive, but Lupin's curse is worse than ever after the battle. Or just simply keeping them both alive, and putting a little nod in the epilogue to how Harry's kids defend Lupin's son from bullies, and it's hinted at that society still doesn't accept werewolves and their lives aren't perfect, but they're all sticking around for each other.
I mean you don't even get to have Tonks react to Lupin's death. And the only Weasley that was killed was one of the twins—don't get me wrong, that's still horrible. But if you're trying to make a point about the losses of war, kill a character who is one-of-a-kind to the audience...not one-of-two.
Also, the thing with Snape and Lily didn't hit. Haven't analyzed why, yet. There's something to be learned about showing and telling there. I mean, what the author showed me for seven books was a mean and nasty man who loved nothing. I experienced it with Harry. I tasted the sting of the insults and the cruel remarks and the unfairness. For seven books. You know what's less powerful? A handful of pages quickly info-dumping the idea that no, he was in love and acting out of unrequited love all along. Like anti-heroic Snape is a compelling idea to be told about, but it's not nearly as strong as the experience of being shown villainous Snape, moment by moment, book by book.
Same thing with Dumbledore's emotional reveal of his own history. Like. Okay. But you only just now told me I should care about Dumbledore's family, in the last half of the last book. I don't feel as badly about him and his family as I would've if you'd slowly shown me who they were, even in memory, for the last seven books—like she did super well with Lily and James and Sirius.
anyway. Those are my half-baked thoughts. I was also...running a super high fever and reading the last few chapters at 1 in the morning, at the time. So they're super underdone thoughts. Thanks for asking!

Hi SPB, I was wondering where your motivation/creativity comes from and how you harness it? Thank you!
Hi! owo Uhhh a few different places. My motivation and my creativity come from different places but they work together to help me do what I do.
My motivation to make comics comes from:
Comments and feedback, I want my art to be a conversation with another person and thus feedback is kinda what I make comics for. I love how as my stories speak, people will speak back.
The fun of drawing, I just enjoy drawing comics like as an activity, it makes me happy, it's a very rhythmic and relaxing process, and thus its a regular part of my days. I just love having the finished page to stare at at the end.
The fervor of storytelling, that shit's my serotonin bro, I just need to write stories, it's an important part of how I navigate my life on like a structural level. It's how I process the world around me, so as my life goes on and stuff happens, I feel motivated to write about it. And comics are the main way I do my writing now.
To keep up w my community, I surround myself w other comic artists and a lot of us work, draw, and create together. It's a sacred bond between artists. u'w'u If I stopped comicking, I'd have like nothing to show them? There'd be no goal to work towards? Most of my friends make comics lol.
And my creativity comes from:
The need to process, as life treks on I tend to have Big Feelings about Almost Everything and writing is how I process those feelings and just, the world around me in general. You input experiences into this machine and I will output a fiction story. It's how I make sense of things and make meaning of my experiences.
The drive to keep improving, I always want my storytelling to get better and thus I have to continuously get creative to invent new ways to write and draw better. It's a never ending process, there is ALWAYS something to sharpen, so I just keep searching for new means to improve, things to tweak, ways something could be better. It's a never ending challenge and I need challenge in my life. It's like something to work on.
Internal experiences, feelings, opinions, fears, hopes, wishes, thoughts, ideas, questions, answers, et cetera.
Love, is definitely involved. Love has a huge involvement in my creative process. It's soaked into so many different, little parts of the process. Like uhhh taking a character through a journey? That's love. Writing new kinds of rep? That takes love. It's kinda just everywhere and it's something I can draw from very consistently cause those Big Feelings I mentioned includes love.
I also tend to write from anger and a strong sense of in/justice. Could you tell lol.
I like to take a lot of inspiration from nature, also. All my backgrounds are just me blowing a kiss to mother nature.
This is getting long sorry but how to harness it all, uhhhhh. Practice. Build habits. Make an effort to get creative on the regular, not necessarily every day, but try to avoid massive dry spells unless you're really not doing well or there's an understandable reason for it. Dry spells are ultimately unavoidable but don't have to define your creative cycle, it IS possible to create on the reg unless you're not taking care of yourself well. Don't only create when you're hyperfixated cause that just builds a habit to do that, if you're not feeling up to it, just do the thing for like 30 minutes and then either stop and chill or keep going cause the momentum will now carry you. I create p much every day cause it's an important part of how I navigate my life i.e. the processing motive and insatiable need for challenge, I can never stop writing now as long as I live cause writing is how I meet those needs. So yeah, just be like me and sell your soul to the gods art! Make the thing you wanna do fun, don't beat your head against a brick wall if that creative hobby you're trying to get into just really isn't sticking, it's not ALWAYS meant to be and it's okay to admit that and just move on and try something new. I tried many different kinds of art before I ever found comicking and it stuck, and now I basically just do comicking and some of my other older creative hobbies fell away. That's fine, that's life, you'll find your thing if you keep searching out new things. Oh, and also get in community, surround yourself w other creatives and consume they're work, trust me you'll get inspired p quick.
wow this got longER. sorry!

All the questions (1-15) for Nikolai and Mishka please
@dandylion240 sorry this took so long! I had it almost finished and then forgot it was in my drafts, and it got pushed down by all the other stuff in my drafts... and yeah. Anyway, here you go!
I'm going to do both of them together, so I only have to copy-paste the question set one time.
Tumblr media
Nikolai Pavlenko & Mikhail (Mishka) Vasiliev
What is your character's biggest fear, and how does it affect their actions and relationships?
Nikolai's biggest fear is losing his independence. So much of his self-identity is tied to teaching, helping and taking care of others, it's hard for him to accept the idea of needing to be taken care of by someone else. He's okay with interdependence, but he's afraid of a situation where he might no longer be able to care for himself and where he'd become mostly, or fully, dependent on other people looking after him.
Mishka's biggest fear is abandonment, which extends out to a real fear of simply being alone. He was never able to live alone and always needed to have a roommate after leaving his family's home. He doesn't like to go anywhere by himself, especially if he's never been there before, and when Nikolai travels, Mishka either has to stay with someone else or travel with him. He thinks his fear of abandonment goes all the way back to when he was a baby/toddler, when his biological mother would leave him and Vika alone in their apartment for hours and sometimes days at a time. He used to have major separation anxiety when he was a child (and he still kind of does, if he's being honest).
What is something your character is deeply passionate about, and how does it drive their goals and motivations?
Nikolai is deeply passionate about sports in general and figure skating in particular. He's highly competitive and he always wants to be the best he can be, which motivates him to stay fit an healthy. It informs his choices about exercise, eating and sleep. Unfortunately, it also means he can be stubborn once he makes up his mind, and sometimes he doesn't know when to quit.
Mishka is passionate about appreciating and understanding all living things. He loves animals, and despite being both anxious and shy, he's really a people-person at heart. He's soft-hearted and compassionate and genuinely wants to help everyone live their best life, including every animal. This has motivated him to get involved in volunteering with organizations such as an animal rescue and a community soup kitchen and thrift shop. Now that he's retired from his hockey career, he has more time to devote to his causes.
Describe a memorable childhood experience that shaped your character's personality or outlook on life
The thing in Nikolai's childhood that shaped his character and personality wasn't so much a specific event but really his childhood in general. Nikolai was raised by his grandfather just as much as by his parents (if not more so). Of all his guardians, he's always been closest to his grandfather, and he was greatly influenced not just by the way his grandfather raised him but also by the way he saw his grandfather treat other people. Grandpa is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person, and he loves to help and teach others, and Nikolai wanted to be like that too, whether by conscious choice or as a way of life.
A childhood experience that shaped Mishka's personality was being abused, neglected and ultimately abandoned by his biological mother. It caused him to have a deep-seated fear of the dark from being locked in a cupboard as a toddler, not to mention his fear of abandonment and of being alone. He's also afraid of needles (due to his biological mother injecting herself with drugs and then having very bad reactions), and he's afraid of people yelling at him (something his bio mother did far too often). Fortunately, he was adopted by his foster family, and they gave him the life he deserved, but he still has issues because of a lot of those things that happened. He's also grown up to value every living thing, and to do his best to make sure innocent and vulnerable people don't suffer the way he did.
What are your character's quirks or eccentricities that make them stand out from others?
For Nikolai, it's his hair. It's not really a quirk or eccentricity, but it is a characteristic that makes him stand out from others. One of his quirks that might make him stand out to the more observant person might be his obsession with wearing green clothes. The majority of his wardrobe is green, with the exception of shoes, jeans, and some black, grey or brown shorts and sweatpants, and it's unusual to see him in other colours.
Also not really a quirk, but Mishka is notable for having an overall physical appearance that doesn't seem to match with his personality. He embodies that older meme "looks like he could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll". People who don't know MIshka well are often intimidated by him at first.
Does your character have any hidden talents or abilities that only a few people know about?
Nikolai can draw and is fairly skilled at it, but he doesn't really like to show off his art. He's self-conscious about it, so only the people closest to him know.
Mishka likes to knit and crochet, and he knows how to do basic sewing. It's not necessarily a hidden talent, but it's not something he talks about with most people, either.
What is your character's preferred way of coping with stress or difficult situations?
Nikolai exercises when he's stressed. He finds physical activity helps him release all his pent-up energy and lets him relax.
Mishka stress-knits. Making multiple hats and pairs of mittens is far better for him than some of his old anxiety-coping behaviours, such as not eating, or unconsciously pulling out strands of his own hair.
How does your character handle failure or setbacks? Are they resilient or easily discouraged?
Neither one of them cope well with setbacks initially, but they're both resilient.
Nikolai is stubborn and dedicated, which is a powerful combination when it comes to pushing through failure and heading for his goals. He's very goal-oriented, and although he might struggle at first when he fails at something or has a setback, he's never down for long.
Mishka is more prone to being discouraged, but not to the point of giving up. Where Nikolai is self-motivated, Mishka often needs at least a little encouragement to help him get up and keep going. It's not because he doesn't want to achieve the goal in question, but more so that he needs someone to affirm that he can do it and to validate his continued efforts.
Describe a significant relationship in your character's life and how it has influenced them.
Nikolai considers all his relationships significant, but one of the most important ones for him is with his former coach and 'bonus mom', Beth-Anne. She's one of the few people with whom he's comfortable showing his vulnerability (his grandfather, Mishka and Ginger being the others). He also credits Beth-Anne for saving his life, literally and figuratively, shortly after the accident that ended his competitive skating career. Her love and support helped him want to stay alive, and she was the one who helped him get his life back on track, and she steered him toward coaching as a natural next step for him. He loves coaching and he's forever grateful to Beth-Anne for all she's done for him. Now, his goal is to pay her kindness forward to someone else.
Mishka's most significant relationship is with Nikolai. He's made great strides in his personal growth because Nikolai supports him rather than judging him. Mishka is never going to be an extrovert or a particularly self-assured person, but thanks to Nikolai's help and encouragement, he's learned how to be more outgoing and confident, and he's learned that the world isn't nearly as scary a place as his own anxiety would want him to believe. He's learning how to trust others and how to make strong, lasting friendships.
What is your character's moral compass? What principles or values do they hold dear?
I would say this is very similar for both Nikolai and Mishka. They aren't religious but they would both think of themselves as moral individuals. Both of them value courage, kindness, compassion and honesty. They both also place a high value on loyalty, and family (or found family) loyalty in particular.
Imagine your character in a challenging moral dilemma. How would they approach it, and what choice would they make?
The choice they'd make would really depend on the dilemma.
They'd both seek advice from someone they trust, and they'd both weigh up the case for and against each potential course of action. Both of them lean more toward being emotional decision-makers, but that's not to say they wouldn't give it serious thought. Mishka would struggle less than Nikolai would, because morality is a bit less nuanced in Mishka's worldview. Nikolai sees more shades of grey than Mishka does.
Is there a specific physical feature or item that holds special significance to your character? Why is it important to them?
Nikolai has a silver ring that was given to him by Beth-Anne, which has the word "forever" engraved on the inside. Beth-Anne has a similar one that she received from her former coach, Stan. Hers has the Latin inscription "per aspera ad astra" (through hardship, to the stars) on the inside. Eden also has one, given to him by Nikolai, which says "chase your dream". Nikolai hopes Eden might someday have a special student of his own to give one to. The inscription on Nikolai's ring refers to his first gold-medal win with Beth-Anne as his coach. He was going through a confidence crisis, after having three coaches in theree years, but he really bonded with Beth-Anne and this was the first glimmer of the shining career he'd hoped for. He wanted Beth-Anne to stay with him, and she promised she would continue to coach him and that she'd stay in his life forever if that's what he wanted.
Mishka's important item is his blue teddy bear (also called Mishka). It's important to him because he hadn't had a teddy bear or plushie since he was a young child, and really wanted one but was too self-conscious as a grown man to purchase his own. Self-consciousness about teddy bears isn't something Nikolai suffers from (he carries his through the airport), so he had no problem buying one for Mishka.
How does your character react to change or unexpected situations? Are they adaptable or resistant?
Mishka does not like change or unexpected situations. He's very routine-oriented and prefers to have lots of advance notice to prepare himself psychologically for things like travelling, having overnight houseguests, etc. Unfortunately, he doesn't always get the advance notice he prefers, and interruptions in his routine are very stressful for him. He's not resistant to change per se. He knows and accepts that change is inevitable. His problem isn't that he resists it, but more that he struggles to adapt. If he had his preference, nothing much would change, but he gets that change is often necessary and he tries his best to keep up even if he doesn't like it and finds it upsetting and challenging.
Nikolai isn't a fan of change either, but he's a lot more adaptable than Mishka. Nikolai has learned to be pragmatic about change. He may be upset or stressed in the moment, but he recovers quickly and is reasonably good at rolling with whatever happens.
Does your character have any recurring dreams or nightmares? How do these dreams affect them?
Neither of them have any recurring dreams
What is your character's preferred method of self-expression? Do they have any artistic talents or creative outlets?
Nikolai's favourite form of self-expression is dance (and skating)
For Mishka, it' s music. He's had classical vocal training and piano lessons, and he loves both. If you think you hear opera on the beach, it's Mishka. Loud Russian drinking songs? Probably also Mishka. Soulful ballad in the shower? Mishka.
Describe a defining moment in your character's life that marked a turning point or significant change in their path.
Nikolai's defining moment was the injury that ended his competitive skating career, and the weeks that followed his injury. Up to that point, he'd defined himself primarily as a professional athlete, and the loss of his ability to compete left him shattered for a while. He didn't know how to think of himself outside the context of his sport. His transition into coaching helped him see things from a new perspective, not just in his own life but in his view of the world in general.
Mishka hasn't had his defining moment yet, but it's coming. For him, it'll be becoming a parent.

Okay, I know I've literally never talked about Supernatural before on this blog but I actually am a massive fan of the series. I could honestly run an entire separate blog about it. Anyway I rediscovered Milo Greene's song "What's the Matter" earlier and it got me thinking about the episode Bitten.
People have eased up on this episode in recent years but overall the general opinion is still pretty negative, which I think is sad since this is probably one of my personal favorites. Keep in mind it's been a couple years since I've rewatched the show, so I'm running mostly on memory here.
First things first, I think it helps keep the series connected to its roots. After season 5, they kept trying to one up themselves in terms of stakes, ultimately leading to such events as "Satan's son's birth opens the multiverse". And we were sitting in the aftermath of Dick and the Leviathans™ where the show was heading back on its stride, so it feels really nice to just remind us where we began. Saving people, hunting things.
Second, it actually does a lot for the worldbuilding. We get to actually see the perspective of both the people being saved and the things to be hunted, all while they have to grapple with it. While they may not be the most compelling, it was really important we got to see the evolution of these friends, a view into the mundane yet interesting history of these regular people's lives. That way it really hits when things go to shit, you (or at least me) genuinely wish things could have gone differently for them. These people had dreams and goals, loved ones, and now two of them are dead and the other is on the run. All that and they still manage to convey it in a way that feels mostly organic.
On top of that, we get a particularly interesting glimpse into how Sam and Dean look from the perspective of strangers, including some interesting character details. Their shenanigans, their work. We really never get to see people who recognize them from other things (like don't they technically still have warrants for their arrest?) so I thought it was cool how the characters pick up on that.
The found footage aspect is usually hated by people, but I thought it was a really cool way to see it unfold. Cause remember, they could have easily just given us an episode from someone else's POV. But instead, we experience it as the brothers experience it. Context for certain things is missing, there are time jumps and finally it ends with a message directly for them both.
It makes sense that they would film what they do too (for the most part). We see that these are people who record fun and mundane things just for the hell of it, so of course they would record one of the most strange and harrowing events of their lives. In an era where people record strangers for internet points, it's honestly refreshing to see people record mostly just for the sake of capturing memories or entertainment for themselves.
I know a lot of people like it, but it holds a special place in my heart. When I think of the heart of the show, I don't think about the world ending or the multiverse or any of that, I think of stuff like this. Things that really stick in your mind.
And also that song fucks.

DAY 9: DANGANTOBER
Tumblr media
Day 9: Favorite Blackened
It was very hard to choose who my favorite blackened was. There are so many great options, with such interesting murder plans, backstories, and character developments. But, I wanted to pick one that I thought played their trial with cunning and intelligence.
When talking about playing the trial like its a game, the Ultimate Gambler is the one that stands out.
I LOVED Celestia from the beginning of the game. Her aesthetics were so awesome, that gothic lolita mix was just so cute and interesting to look at. Her name rolled off the tongue, her ultimate was intriguing, and her voice was so nice to listen to.
I expected her to have some bite to her, and she DEFINITELY delivered. Her perspective on survivability is adaptability was an interesting perspective to hear, and its the first time its brought up in the series. The only other example of this that comes to mind immediately, is Angie from V3. Over the course of the game, we see more and more of her more aggressive side come out, typically directed towards Hifumi, such as the scene where he makes her milk tea, and she smashes the cup because it wasn't made the exact way she wanted it.
We stan a queen with standards.
In chapter three, Monokuma gives them the next motive, being ten billion yen as a graduation gift for whoever kills next. While the rest of the class starts insisting that no one would kill for money, Celestia begins to scheme. Most blackeneds have a very understandable reason for doing what they did. Leon was self defense, Gundham did it so everyone wouldn't starve, Kaede (erm, Mod Tsumugi are you forgetting-) was trying to kill the mastermind, etc. In their situations, we can still sympathize with them. But Celestia's reasoning? She wants to live in a castle with an army of the best vampire butlers at her beck and call.
Tumblr media
God forbid women chase their dreams, she stated that dream with her whole chest and was proud of it too. Goals, minus the murder.
Now, I haven't actually sat down and thought through the intricacies of her plan, since the majority of murder plans in Danganronpa are extra for pretty much no reason, since they're built to be solvable and flawed. But she came with contingency plans.
First, she recruits Hifumi to her cause. Accomplices are allowed, but it's very underused. In fact, this is the first and only case with a real accomplice. The next closest thing to this is Kaito and Kokichi, since they were both in on it, but it still wound up following the same formula as every other trial.
Now, she loses points with me on how she convinces Hifumi to work with her. She tells Hifumi that Kiyotaka cornered her and did bad things to her (which he wouldn't do, not even as Kiyondo). I don't think it's okay to lie about this at all, there's so many other lies she could've come up with to get Hifumi to work with her, even ones that still pitted Hifumi against Taka.
Nevertheless, Hifumi is shocked and upset about what he's been told has happened, and that's further added to by Celestia saying that he hid Alter-Ego, which Hifumi had taken a particular liking to in that chapter. Typical character.ai user (I use character.ai)
Though, I will say, this case makes Hifumi more of a tolerable character, and even though there's a consensus that he's the most hated of THH, I can understand the people that enjoy him.
Hifumi and Celestia set to work on the plan, building the Robo Justice costume (which you KNOW Celestia probably wasn't happy with) and painting the Justice Hammers. They lure Yasuhiro to the Rec Room, knock him out, stuff him in the suit ala FNAF, and stage a photo to make it look like Hifumi and Celestia were attacked by this "mystery assailant". They put him in a locker like an 80s bully, and go about the rest of their plan.
They then get Taka alone in the Equipment room, and Hifumi kills him with one of the justice hammers. They then set up the rest of the false scenes of the crime, Celestia roughing herself up and assuming position in the Rec Room, while Hifumi goes to the library.
Everyone else (who have been running around the school to look for Hifumi, including Byakuya which I think is hilarious), bring Hifumi to the Nurse's Office, and split up.
Tumblr media
Scooby Doo ahh chapter.
Hifumi fakes his death in the Nurse's Office while left alone, and the other half of the group finds Taka dead. This makes it look like the body discovery announcement was also for Hifumi, which the timing of that is precise and genius.
While everyone's distracted, Hifumi retrieves Taka's body, and takes him to the art room repository, where Celestia is waiting for him with a mallet to the skull.
Celestia is a trailblazer, the first in Danganronpa history to kill more than one person. She must've really wanted that money lol. I think she would've been caught eventually, she was running things too conveniently, but the game chalks up her being found out to two slip-ups.
One is when only one body had been "discovered", and she says something along the lines of "We're all going to die, just like those guys did", which Makoto thinks is weird because, at the time, only one body was known about. This could've easily been remedied by her saying the names of everyone else who had died so far, and no one would've batted an eye at that explanation.
The second one is Hifumi's miraculous revival in the repository, where he states that the killer is "...Yasuhiro..." before dying. Of course, Celestia tries to explain this away through Yasuhiro Hagakure, but Makoto says that Hifumi only refers to people by their last names, so he'd have said "Hagakure". I don't remember if they explain it, but how did Hifumi find out that Celestia's real name was Taeko Yasuhiro? I doubt she told him.
Finally, she paves the way for the other two chapter three blackeneds, starting to have the series first big meltdown. This is where we really get to see her crazy side shine. I'm a small voice actor, and I voice Celestia for a project. This scene was so, so fun to do, because I got to drop the little accent and just scream into my microphone. Her meltdown is infamous, and this sprite haunts my dreams.
Tumblr media
Riddle me this, Batman. Are you a:
"Because, because, because. BECAUSE, BECAUSE, BECAUSE-"
"It's not fair, not fair, not fair, NOT FAIR NOT FAIR NOT FAIR-"
"Apologize, apologize, apologize, go on, apologize, APOLOGIZE-"
Because all three are iconic.
youtube
Anyways, even in her death, she's gracious. After being told she's been voted as the blackened, she doesn't start screaming or get angry at anyone. She keeps calm, and speaks to everyone in an amiable tone.
I believe this is a final lie she tells, this time, to herself. Because I don't care who you are, if you have just been told you're going to be executed, you're going to freak out. I think this is her last attempt to maintain a poker face, and go out on her own terms.
You can see it in her stating that, in her next life, she wants to be Marie Antoinette, and after being told that means she'll just be executed again, she just smiles.
''Perhaps we'll meet again, in another life."
To analyze her, despite what she preached about adapting, she was arguably the most desperate person in this entire game. She had a big dream she had been working towards, that she had done so much for, and now she's been trapped in a place that will ensure that dream isn't reached. Of course she wanted to escape by any means necessary. Not only did Monokuma provide a way out, but the means to make her dreams come true in the motive.
I think the money would have been worthless in the aftermath of the Tragedy.
She lied to everyone, and presented herself as the person she wanted to be. She was Taeko Yasuhiro, but she wanted to be Celestia Ludenberg. She denied absolutely everything that would link her back to her actual self, even in the beginning when Makoto asks her if she's actually Japanese or not. The persona of Celestia Ludenberg was the ultimate poker face, and what she aspired to be.
There is a lot of underlying themes of self hatred within her, stating that 'Yashiro is a loser's name', and it's something that should have been explored. It makes her execution even more messed up, since the reason she's initially smiling in her execution, is because it's one that is grand and representative of what she aspired to be. The harpsichord, the method of death which wasn't a death belonging to commonfolk, and even the name "The Burning of the Versailles Witch", all spoke to her lofty, posh dreams. Then, Monokuma mows her down with a fire truck, a common death of a common person.
All in all, she's a bit of a girlboss, a trailblazer when it comes to future blackeneds, and there's so much more that could be discussed about her.
But, let's take comfort in knowing that her cat, Grand Bois Cheri Ludenberg is presumed to be alive and thriving in the Tragedy.

PS: GIVE ME SOME IDEAS FOR DANGANTOBER, BECAUSE THE LIST IM WORKING OFF OF HAS SOME DAYS WHERE I CAN'T DO MY REGULARLY SCHEDULED RANTS.
So please, questions are welcome :3

I saw someone here talk about boycotts so I wanted to clarify some things:
(also this isn’t directed at you so forgive me if it comes off harsh - thats not the intention I simply think it’s important for ppl to understand why this movement is there)
1. Saying boycotts are done by antis is very harmful and not true. The boycott hybe movement is organized by Palestinian armys - being an ally means listening to their demands and supporting them
2. These same armys are creating a lot of other ways to help Palestine so this isn’t the only thing they are putting their energy in - people can multitask and so of course they will criticize governments and raise donation campaigns while also wanting the few spaces they can enjoy music in not be rampant with Zionists (a lot of ppl anti boycott are the same ppl getting Palestinians harassed and blocked even when they are raising money and making this a space okay for actual iof soldiers…)
3. Boycotting is not done with the intention to harm bts but to get hybe to listen the only way a company like them will - affecting sales. Having such blatant islamphobic and Zionist employees and ceos part of the org will ultimately hurt BTS too
4.The boys are serving yes but the boycott isn’t even about getting them to speak plus there’s other artists who are serving who spoke up (even if subtle, the importance is speaking NOW - a banksy piece from years ago or a donation to unicef which wasn’t directly about Palestine is not a free pass / mind u there’s a lot of problems with that org and how they approach Palestine too). Longtime fans of bts saw the way they fearlessly speak their mind and care for human rights so it’s normal for fans to want that when it comes to a genocide. Not to mention armys boycotting aren’t even trash talking bts or thinking bad about them but instead want to able to enjoy their message without lining the pockets of Zionists.
5.The idea that only bts is being “targeted” is not true. This same conversation is happening in every fandom - of course if someone is an army then they will focus on their own space (this isn’t some fan war and shouldn’t be treated as such). Also we constantly say “bts is the standard” so don’t you think it’s important for “the standard” to lend their voice? (this applies to everyone so I don’t get why celebrities with huge platforms get a pass)
6.yes bts made donations for BLM but let’s not pretend that black armys weren’t getting the same type of treatment and harassment Palestine armys are getting today for talking about these issues. And that kind of visibility happened BECAUSE of armys who championed for this campaign
7.if anyone really thinks bts would be upset about streaming over human lives then they haven’t been listening to any bts lyrics, any bts interviews, any bts livestreams, any bts ANYTHING
The faster everyone can join in, the faster we’ll meet our goals and then everyone can enjoy this fandom. Historically speaking boycotts WORK and hybe CAN divest from genocide. Please listen to what the overwhelming majority of Palestinian army are saying and let’s encourage making this a safe space for them. Not everything and everyone is an “anti” and hybe aligning with Zionists is what’s going to hurt bts in the future not fans who love them and want to protect this space/want to keep ppl like scooter away from artists.
Sorry bear with me but one more thing 😭 the same guys telling fans it’s okay to pirate stuff if they can’t listen on official platforms can’t be the same guys people think will get hurt bc fans are not streaming (temporarily!) for a noble and important cause…
I 100% agree with what you wrote.

Context for the Adira fragment?
Okay! So, I can't remember how much I've talked about her story on here. But the basic summary is - first book (of which I've written an assorted quantity across... three different drafts, I think), she discovers a copy of the Bible, and that book is really her ascertaining truth, along with a great many other things. I have part of the second book also written, although it's legit such a time since I really worked with it that I can't remember clearly where the books separate. In the second (?) book, the authorities take her away (there's potentially a timeskip but I may write something in between I'm not certain) and try and break her and destroy the Christianity (which has been their goal for a while). At this point she and Tom are engaged. But not just take her away, the authorities stage it in a way I'm not 100% sure about yet, so that her friends and family don't even know where she is or if she's alive or dead.
(During this time, Tom uhhhh develops something of an eating disorder, her friend Emily* goes through a crisis of faith and nearly dies of hypothermia, and Adira herself is tortured and reasonably close to death on a number of occasions.)
There's also fun stuff with betrayal as well, which is what really messes up Adira and her family the most, but anyway. She ends up with a lot of trauma and physical injury which results in scarring (none self-inflicted, though it may look like it). After a long while, she and Tom finally get married when they are unexpectedly made to adopt children (I still need to work out the specifics of how that works with the altered plot since Vaniah's story was removed from this universe, but they are twins and their names are Faith and Hope). They have at least one biological child (another girl, this one named Joy). There's a bunch of persecution, but for Reasons (some of which I still have to work out) they aren't simply wiped out by the authorities, and most of them are not too traumatised or having to hide their entire existence.
Anyway, at some point Tom and Adira buy a house which I can picture perfectly and I've even seen a smol canyon (idk that's the wrong word) that was precisely what I was picturing, except plus the house. In that snippet they're lying on the grass outside their home, a few (?) years after they got married. Incidentally, the whole trauma thing combined with problems of Tom's that showed up (he has significant anger issues, has been reunited with childhood friends who rejected him due to an illness in his teens but who were extremely misogynistic which occasionally shows up in him despite his working on it and drinking his respect women juice ever since) nearly broke their engagement/marriage early on, but they've learned to sort that out with various help.
But they get along SO well all through (they first met when she was fourteen and he was ? (I need to tweak the ages, I started writing this years ago and the age gap at that point is Not It) due to sharing a class 'cause she was precocious and he was struggling) and I love them sm. I love how they can still remain lighthearted to some extent even through all the things they endure. Ultimately, theirs is a lighter and gentler connection than, say, Vaniah and his Emily, which has a lot more heaviness to it.
One of the reasons I haven't written a great deal of this lately (read: have touched only twice since a year and a quarter ago) is because I've been finding romance just not what I want to go near for some reason in writing for the most part (Emily and Vaniah are different because that's not really romance ig). But I love them and I love their dynamic, both when it was purely platonic and when it grew to include romance as well. In the first book, Tom struggles significantly with an illness - I need to work out the specifics, but I drew to some extent from chronic fatigue syndrome, which my dad suffered from when I was young and still suffers from in a reduced quantity. One thing I like about that is that it shows how singlemindedly driven Tom is for any goal of his, which feeds into the anger issues he has later on, and problems related to his somewhat obsessive nature. Which he doesn't entirely fix and he still has to deal with to some extent, but it much improves (and it's not *all* bad, there are good points to it too).
Anyway, yeah, I think that's most of the context off the top of my head. Feel free to ask for clarification on anything! I love talking about my characters. :)
*The Emily of Vaniah's story and this Emily were originally one and the same, but I ended up choosing to separate the stories. I'll probably change the name of Vaniah's Emily at some point, but haven't yet. In Adira's story Vaniah still exists, showing up precisely three times, but his ending is entirely different - while in his story he leaves his job and becomes friends with them and marries Emily and heals from his problems, in Adira's, he leaves his job but rather more explosively and choosing to save all the people he can before he is found out. He then commits suicide to avoid a long and painful death at the hands of the authorities (it's possible he could have done things differently and simply fled to join some of Adira's family and believers overseas, but he also entirely does not mind dying at that point). In Adira's story he is never named specifically, and his actual ending may or may not be specified in those books.

Okay some plot stuff cause I don't think I'm gonna be doing much tonight. Maybe I dunno.
1) Sena and Dexio are kinda pointless in canon. They show up twice , I think, and are very obvious so I don't exactly get the point. However, if we take the perspective of a vigilante route, I think they would be more interesting. They, for one, do not trust Lysandre at all. They are civil with him, being friendly on the surface, but they find him too suspicious. They try and voice their concerns with Sycamore...but he simply brushes them off. Now, Sycamore has talked to Lysandre about his....intense passion about his beliefs. Multiple times I would say. But truthfully he's not willing to believe that his Lysandre is the leader of a villainous team. Not yet, anyway. So not exactly having the support of the professor and the league not seeming to do anything, they go " fine, we'll do it ourselves >:(". And yes, it was Sena's idea. I think they would be rather shocked to see Jude and co getting so involved in team flare stuff. Like yes, they're almost adults, all of them being in their late teens in my au, but they're still kids. They shouldn't be dealing with that stuff. Both Sena and Dexio know that by themselves they can't take risk team flare, but they don't want the kids to get super involved. So atm, their main goal is to find evidence to prove to Sycamore that Team Flare is a bigger threat than imagined and that Lysandre is involved with it all. It's not easy, though, when there's team flare grunts hiding in plain sight. I think Tierno can actually help them with this imo. I feel like, next to Shauna, he's the most sociable with the better people skills. He's an entertainer, after all. I don't think he's a master manipulator, or an esteemed socialite ( he's really Just A Guy who likes dancing and fashion), but his sociability is enough to get some info regarding team flare. At least that's how I see it.
2) Lysandre. It would feel weird to have Lysandre not be his obvious self, but to add more to the mystery and what I have planned for Sena and Dexio, he needs to be less obvious. So. To people of the scientists world, he's Professor Lysandre, an amazing scientist and engineer. To the regular public? He's the stoic yet friendly cafe owner of Lysandre Cafe, who always has some sagely advice or a shoulder to lean on. To Sycamore, he's the love of his life. At most, he's passionate, which does cause some concern, but ultimately harmless, right? No way our beloved Lysandre would want to commit genocide for the sake of a "new and beautiful world?" right????? No way.
3) I think I'm gonna go forward with the Elute 4 not getting involved until after the power plant. That would certainly get their attention,I think. Sure the PokeBall factory would probably be more noticeable, but my goal is to have them be as proactive as they possibly can, so sooner rather than later is best. It would be hard, with their busy schedules, but it'll work. They do it in secret to lessen the panic within the public. If the elite 4 publicly announced their intentions, it would not only make the public go into a panic, but also let team flare know they are into them. Unfortunately for them, Malva is there, either feeding them false information or giving Team Flare the heads up. So. Whoops. It's the thought that counts, I guess.

i absolutely wanna hear the spicy elden ring takes for 7 & 12
12. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
Okay okay so. The main ones are Radahn and Godfrey, especially Radahn. Godfrey is ultimately just dudebros being kind of annoying about how big and strong and masculine he is (tbh I wouldn't be inclined to like him to begin with even if I think his voice is hot). Pretty standard stuff tbh.
But! BUT! Radahn's fandom is FILLED with people who love to ignore that Radahn was also a belligerent in the Shattering, and hate Malenia out of blatant misogyny, insisting that Radahn curb-stomped her, that he was only her equal because he was holding back, that she bloomed because she was losing and her ego couldn't handle it (when she's stated to have been in a stalemate and to have "cast aside her pride" or similar, suggesting that her blooming was rather the opposite of being for her ego), and all around being just the fucking worst lmfao. This is especially unfortunate as I think Radahn is a genuinely good and interesting character! I just can't muster up anything more than resigned ambivalence because of the fandom.
Also I hate the Soldier of Godrick but that's just because the Rick jokes are oversaturated, not because I actually think there's a problem with them.
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
First of all, I like Gideon Ofnir in that I love to hate him. He has a great voice that's fun to listen to while I fantasize about reaching his boss fight because everything he says with that voice is terrible and awful and he's the worst. Also he's a lazy little bitchboy who, even as bad a fighter as he is, is still very powerful and could've easily curb-stomped all of Stormveil plus Godrick (not to mention, until the end of the game, he's the only other tarnished with the will to keep going for the throne, and is thus the only one still guided by grace, which to my understanding means that he still has infinite lives just like you) and yet he prefers to just tell everyone else to do his dirty work. What a pathetic and awful old man I love him.
I mean I am forever a Malenia stan. Obviously I support women's wrongs and would frankly love her even if all that I'm about to say didn't apply, but also like. Not in that I don't think she's ultimately to blame for nuking Caelid lmfao but I think there's a lot more factors at play here than just "she chose to bloom because she couldn't risk losing" (regardless of whether the take posits She Just Couldn't Handle It or a more sympathetic and accurate reason like feeling it was the only way to accomplish her brother's goals).
Like for one, I get the impression that the Scarlet Rot actively wants her to release it, and she spent her whole life fighting against the will of an Outer God that constantly wanted her to let its rot out.
For two, I suspect she thought the damage from blooming would be more limited than it actually was in practice—not because I don't think she'd knowingly do horrible things to win (she'd do anything to achieve Miquella's goals) but because a) I doubt she'd nuke her own army like that, even though they're clearly willing to die from her rot just by being in her presence and b) this one is more conjecture but I'd bet money she figured whatever damage she did cause Miquella could undo once the stars were set back in motion.
For three, we just don't know how aware she was that if she died she'd bloom anyway. That's kind of a big one and frankly as far as I can tell there's literally no indications in any direction. Maybe she had no idea and she bloomed because she felt she needed to win and move forward. Maybe she did know and didn't think she could win or didn't think she could win fast enough for her heavily outnumbered army to survive. Maybe she did know and had reason to believe that if she died and bloomed it would be worse than if she bloomed willingly. We just don't know! This one is entirely up to personal interpretation!
Of course ultimately even with the most charitable take, she did still choose to be there, she chose to carry out Miquella's plans and lead her army across the Entirety of the Lands Between to Caelid. She is still a terrible person—just like literally every demigod lol. It's kind of a running them that they're all monsters, some well intentioned, some really not, but even Ranni, who provides the best outcome by far for the Lands Between, orchestrated the event that precipitated the Shattering in order to carry out her schemes. Anyone who thinks any of the demigods (at least that we've seen) are good guys has missed the whole point.
Now if you'll excuse me I'll also be over here stanning Rykard, whose most notable material contribution to the Lands Between is robot iron maidens on wheels with axes. that are on chains.

Chucky-He Has Risen
Spoiler warning....
......
.....
......
.....
......
Warning....
Seriously....
SPOILER WARNING.....
Though in truth....
Don’t feel much to talk about?...
Anyway last spoiler warning...
Sooo the ep was kinda boring. Not that I’m completely complaining. Devon and Lexy saved Andy. Soooo LOVE YOU KIDS! Both him and Kyle are alive... I mean poor Andy’s been tortured and Kyle lost an ear.... soo... ...all the more reason I want these kids to surive this season!
So Don Mancini please don’t kill off my original heroes! If Andy is dead because of Chucky or that stupid psychiatrist I’ll be pissed. I mean I’m super sad about Nadine ... explains her actress’ instagram though....again she was becoming my fav of the group... but should have saw it coming. I mean she was sweet, naive to the group and the bigger picture, .... lets be honest I think we all kinda knew their “less than a day” brainwashing wasn’t gonna work.
And if Jake falls for this I’m not gonna lie I’ll roll my eyes... mostly cause well I don’t know if Don Mancini is getting too “thought provoking” with Chucky’s character (s) ... but pft I’m sorry I don’t see Chucky as someone who was turned evil. That crazy psychiatrist helped .. I guess but like Tiff I just see that these characters just honestly chose to follow evil/murder, yada, yada.
So what I assume is an “exorcism”  or some form of demon purging? Part of me is skeptical but aslo curious... as far as I know this series has never tried you know “mixing  cultures” or religions? I dunno cause I assume Chucky’s soul jumping is due to voodooism? so... using a Catholic/Christian stuff to defeat him... uhh interesting but still skeptical becausee we got two more episodes. Plus not gonna lie be almost funny if the “excorcism” or whatever backfired and he possessed the priest. Not funny haha just I dunno.
Any thoughts.... uhh the supposed fight that happened between buff Chuck and “Colonel” Chuck was kinda disappointing... I mean arsenic? Really would had been cool to see a real fight but ahh well. Maybe Mancini couldn’t afford it.
Sooo... Glenda is either not sure what they want or maybe changing minds on following the killer family footsteps. I’m not against the idea but two more eps lets see what happens.
The psychiatrist knew Chucky as a kid... okay...still not buying she made him evil. More of wondering whats her ultimate goal? Does she have a thing for killers? Is this like a ref to that ”Cult of Chucky” where she’s some disciple? I’m just “What is your endgame?”.... Sister Ruth’s nuts 8B. But I think it was obvious when she saw the dumb doll as god. And maybe the next Tiff? I dunno the part were steroid Chuck was all “you should dye your hair blonde”. Felt like a nod to Tiff. Maybe we’re getting a new teamup (if Mancini gets another season)
Though endgames again whats gonna happen to Tiff and the twins? Glenda’s having... identity crises? or conflict of feelings... will the twins really return to their old vessel? Tiff and Tilly... are the group gonna make them switch back? I just I dunno whats gonna happen here. If by some miracle Tiff switches back, Tilly’s still in a bind cause she’d be somewhat framed for the crimes Tiff committed. Plus I really wanna see Tiff get her punishment for what she put Nica through.
Think thats about it. Sorry to see Nadine go. Hope the original kids Andy/Kyle survive this season. I admit I dunno what  Mancini has planned for them, but I’d rather have them retire instead of being killed off. Just let the kids retire if he ever plans to shelve them.
Want Nica freed too. Kinda feel if  Mancini ever retired them, she’d be the new “andy” to take on that mantle. Don’t have anything else cause we got two more eps.

a long time ago i stopped being jealous of certain lifestyles and things cause once u can attain them or find a way, or figure out how the sausage is made its not that hard and that isnt impressive or even likeable in any sense
people are immulating at a high frequency and the universe can sense imposters and non believers who do not live in. their truth and go cower in fear and just simply conform one thing they will never know if nobody can smell it the universe can sense it even if nobody can see, universe sees, it feels, it calls out, it grasps you
Everybody wants to potray and cosplay a shitty portray aina but what u dont know is lets say even if u make it big, get the sponsorships, the trips reap the benefits of u raping your own life with cameras and tripods what is it all for? fuck money, fuck the gift. fuck the family feeding for just 45 seconds what are you gaining in spirit?
like what in your femmine spirit and the many who have died along the way for you to get here are you proud the answer might still be yes just to stick it to me or it might be genuinely yes cause you in turn think you are very much a success i mean thats what you have been showed and by scoreboard standards band 4 band u beat a bitch >
you didn't though lame you didn't, the inner work didn't completed and i honestly dont give a fuck if a bitch got a isn't for me of why i dont know her and im not in her household,
bitch with your content I AM IN YOUR HOUSE, I AM IN UR BRAIN, your constantly gagging up information every-time u take a bite into a stupid food u bought cause of your audience and everytime u gag up information when you say spend the day with me
we see inside your frame even if its all a act what does that inherently say about you???
You give us yourself and think we got no right to comment
okay enough of jealous prefacing and putting the condom on for yall
Wannabes
These women grew up being ridiculed or extremely loved theres no inbetween because both have the ultimate libido and desire to be seen and heard and viewed in a certain light to get illicit reactions out of other people... its odd ngl
i look at my tiktoks and its all been jokes i crack on me or stuff me and my friends did drunk and just goofing im not saying everybody gotta take that route i do appreciate lifestyle influncers who serve the purpose of showing us the viewer and cost breakdown of spas or vacations or maybe even a resturaunt or things i might wanna go do
like who am i to get mad at them for the sake of curiosity and further knowlege on a place i intend to visit i never been like dope case closed type shit
But if you a wannabe ..........................................................
its a waste of time and energy and your soul and we see it bleeding out for a "look at me mommy" like its sad.....
you can tell the want the mommy to compliment their outfit and the sister to ask where did you learn to do your makeup? and the auntie to ask where can i get that slice of pizza
they want the overall appeal of who is gonna ask me
who is gonna notice me and with each clip you see apart of them kinda just yelling out to the universe not only notice me but award me for being noticed and nobody is gonna do that not even 1 million viewers can set you free,
COPIER
you know the one philposhy thingy of the barnyard picture and like idk ill have to look this up but basically to break it down simply
theres a pic of a farmhouse and soon it gains popularity every mf wants to go and soon its like a disney w a giftshop its copied and copied till it loses its meaning idk look that shit up its a real philosphy and its deeper than what im saying but i ont got time for allat yo
bitches copy till they mf face turn blue and they want it to have the same effect the 1st one did
but the reality remains your immulation ends there
your cleaning the same marble counter like everybody else
taking the same pic on that goddamn boat like everbody else
wearing the same oufit bookmarked and tagged on pintrest like everybody else
its a waste..... why do we need 567,000 copies of the same bitch doing the same shit its lost its meaning besides "you did it"
like ................... no
and i dont wanna be different either and throw my hand in and see who can do it better cause why its so dumb
live ur life like ??? u gone spend ur 20s and 30s chasing after whats not yours ............... no thx

I just spent an ungodly amount of time taking these nails off and I can say...never again. But during the process I had several realizations which I'm grateful for. The first being, I never do self care days. I should start. I literally just don't spend enough time focusing on my appearance and feel like I wanna change that this year. Not out of necessity but because I really feel like being more intentional with the way I present myself will result in me receiving that energy back and just carrying that energy also. The second is, I think ima finally grow my hair back out. I feel like I've mastered the art of detachment from it as much as I can for now and now it's time for something new. I have some ideas, I think it'll be cool to actually have fun with growing it out because normally I've just missed cuts and looked up and boom lmao. More responsibilities and just neglected it because it was too much. Now I'm like okay, it's an extension of myself so I should treat it with the same love and care as I should be treating myself. So, lots of thoughts and all of them are just "girl, be more vain" lmao. I feel like people always boxed me in to the natural girl so I always steered away from anything else unless it was like, a special occasion. Now I'm realizing how much I hate people acting like my naturalness is a statement when it's really just laziness lmao. Not entirely laziness but still idk I feel like I just wanna break myself out of boxes this year but not solely to do so but to free myself from the things I don't realize. Like I wanna be motivated by my own thoughts and desires and not just "people like me this way so I'll be this way". Like I know I'll never be a lacefront girly and I'll never be a full set every 2 weeks girly but I think there's some middle ground between that and all natural all the time. Not saying I'll do perms cause I'm still anti that but going back to how I used to be in middle school and early high school before I realized the identity others created for me based on me just being myself. I wanna have fun with stuff again. Especially my appearance. I used to stay being creative and view everything from my clothing to my hair as an extension of myself and an opportunity for self expression. Somewhere along the way I just got comfortable with the narrative people created and started neglecting other parts of me. So that's a goal of mine this year, become a hybrid of 13 year old me and 17 year old me with all the discoveries of 25 year old and the curiosities of all versions of me that never got to be curious because she had to solve problems. Or something like that. I told someone I was done being deep and was gonna just go back to being unbelievably sexy because people think you can only be one or the other but, I lied lmao. Ima just go back to being everything but learning that I can in fact do things on my terms and as long as it feels good in my heart I really don't have to think too much about anything else. I'm realizing this is a long way of saying I'm just not seeking validation the same way and really only care what I have to say because ultimately, none of this is real and I get to customize my avatar however I want. I was always the one who randomly dyed her hair and popped up the next day with a purple fro and acted like it was the most normal thing in the world. I miss her. Her fearlessness. Her confidence. Even though she was deeply insecure in other ways I'm just proud that she existed and she chose to exist so loudly at times when just being black and having natural hair was already statement enough. I was such a trendsetter. I just wanna get back to her without all the fluff of other people's opinions. And the fact that it's on my heart tells me it's not only possible but necessary. Into my cacoon I go lol.

Hello! Congratulations on hitting 100 followers, Poraphia, you deserve it :) and if you are comfortable answering these, then I’d like to know the answer to 3, 9 and 15 from your 100 followers post. Have an amazing day :)
Hi anon and thank you so much!! Honestly I almost forgot about that post so I had to go scavenging for it so tysm for reviving it LMAO anyway here are my answers!
3. What kind of parent would you would be?
I've genuinely thought about this a lot since I've always wanted kids. I wanna be the kind of parent that listens to their children and do anything to make them feel safe and comfortable. Instead of shielding them from the world with lame excuses like "you just can't do that because its bad" and that sort of stuff, I wanna be able to explain conditions on why the things there are now. Ultimately my main goal is communication and comfortability. Also just-- being able to express who they want to be in the world :D grew up really ashamed of myself and my interests, and tbh still struggling with it to this day, so ya!
tldr; give my child the expression i wanted growing up
9. What was the last movie that made you cry?
Uhh Nimona made me sob like a baby I LOVE ITTT ITS BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED AND THE STORY IS TO DIE FOR its about a knight (who was appointed outside of royalty) was framed for murdering the queen so this girl who is also considered an "outlier" helps him gain his reputation back. Not only the plot is interesting in itself, but learning and understanding nimona is just makes my little writer heart gush.
15. What was the worst advice you were given?
There are a lot of times I've heard stuff from people even closest to me and had to audibly scoff cause I thought it was stupid. But what I'd say the worst would be uhhh.. okay well honestly-- I'll give my most tame answer, and it was "perfection isnt achievable, so set your goals to be as close to perfect as you can." and frankly, I hate that. I think the beauty of imperfection is something that we as people should value. We're human. The idealogy that all we're made for is to achieve perfection sucks.
So instead! Set your goals to to what makes you happy, what you feel confident that you can achieve. And once you achieve that, you could either be content with your progress or keep pushing forward. The goal isn't perfection, the goal is to be happy within yourself. Your definition of perfection should be what makes you happy, proud of your work, and best of all, you feel accomplished.
~~~
lots of spiel and rambling and may be some grammar issues bc im in class rn but ya!!
