It's Halloween at Freddy's! Everyone's dying to meet you! Are you afraid of the dark? Are you in for a scare? With so many ways for your heart to stop, it's bound to be a frightfully good time!
Got inspired today to make Halloween Costumes for the FNAF guys I currently have their full body refs finished of. Do you know all the references here? Do you know all of the Animatronics here? Either way... Happy Halloween! I know it's only halfway through the month but... I work on Halloween. You get this now instead. <3
From left to right:
Springtrap (Jason Vorhees), Freddy (vampire), Bonnie (Michael Myers), DJ Music Man (pumpkin), Ballora (the girl from the Ring), Monty (mummy), Sun (Day of the Dead), Balloon Boy (Chucky), Cupcake (Annabelle), Marionette (Jigsaw), Chica (witch), Vanny (black cat), Foxy (ringmaster), Goldie (Corpse Bride), Baby (Nun), Roxy (Alice Angel), and Moon (Slenderman). That's all of the "main" "initial" "Animatronics" in my AU.
...aside from Eclipse, who isn't here because I ran out of ideas. Whoops. I feel like he'd be uhhh like a Zombie or something idk. I cant brain right now after making up all these Halloween costumes and listening to my Halloween Spooky Tunes Playlist I have that is mostly, uh, not Halloween nor Spooky tunes. One Winged Kong is here though.

Weird how I noticed him back when I first saw The Full Monty, but he never did anything for me. Now that he’s older, I can fully enjoy lusting after him. I guess he’s one of those guys that gets hotter with age. Can wait to see him 10 years from now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately, like 99.9% of men I find attractive, he appears to be straight. Dammit. He's married and together they have three children. Anyway, he may be straight, but he does look every inch a big fuckable bear.

6. Favourite one of Matt's dances?
Right now it's probably a toss-up between Wiggle Of The People (new all-time GOAT dance) and Drunk Dad Crashing A Greek Wedding.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, while I don't have a GIF of it atm I also like that swinging guitar motion Matt does whenever he starts the Hysteria solo.
14. Favourite live riff/jam/intro/outro
Oh god. Ohgodohgodohgod. Oh. God.
I'd probably be here all day if I had to list them all individually. I've already professed my love for Adagio in G Minor before. We Are The Universe is up there too. Also whenever Muse does shows in Chicago they always do the Cherub Rock riff, which makes me jealous every time.
As far as the drum/bass jams go, the Helsinki and Munich jams are all-timers. But my personal favorite might be the Monty Jam. (Look me in the eye and tell me this doesn't squeeze an ounce of emotion out of you.)
26. Favourite Muse pop song
27. Favourite Muse heavy song
(Answering these both just because 😁)
I generally enjoy a lot of their pop songs, though Supermassive Black Hole will always be my first love. Depending on my mood I might also be into Undisclosed Desires, Time Is Running Out or Dead Inside (yeah, it's dark by their usual standards for pop). Right now though I'm weirdly feeling the urge to listen to You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween.
As for heavy songs, it's pretty hard to beat Stockholm Syndrome. I also have a complicated relationship with Assassin - I want a version that keeps the barbershop vocals from the album but also has the Grand Omega Bosses bridge.
36. Favourite song to sing along to
I can't narrow it down between Hysteria, Muscle Museum (yes, "guitar solo that's actually just Matt's voice" outtro and all), Host or Recess 😭
52. Matt offered £50,000 to whichever member of Muse is the first to go shirtless in the 2015 Nick Grimshaw Radio 1 interview. Who's getting paid?
Dom, obviously. Unfortunately my only photographic proof comes courtesy of one of the funniest birthday gifts I've ever gotten (long story):

Monty Green imagine - “bad dream”
Warning: smut (partly), ANGST, FLUFF, adult content, harsh feelings, tears
Roles: Monty x Y/N
Tumblr media
Monty POV (Dream)
Walking down to the same spot I usually see Y/N reading under the sunlight i see her, but she wasn’t laying there enjoying the sun or her book with a smile. Instead she was sitting on Jasper’s lap kissing him.
Quickly I woke up with tears falling from my eyes, hearing Bellamy walk in and I tried to wipe them away acting fine, which seemed to work as Bellamy asked me to continue on the Walkie-Talkies for him and Clarke (on their next mission). I nodded at him and got up going to my work desk starting my work, but each screw reminded me of my dream and I felt my chest aching. Finally deciding to grab a drink.
Leaving my tent and walking past the campfire seeing Finn making stupid faces to make people laugh. Bellamy walking around shirtless per usual and then by the water hall I saw what made me grip my bottle tighter. Jasper and Y/N laughing about who knows what.
Chatting and being close. Jasper turning around and waving at me, I just smiled and turned back for my water. Holding up my water bottle and sighing. Walking back to my desk and laying my head on the table feeling upset, I felt as if my dream was real, it hurt me as I’ve liked Y/N for so long. I tried my hardest to work and forget it but my hands were so shaking and I continued to mess up making me angry and throw it all on the floor realising my mistake trying to pick it up, finally understanding I just ruined it more making me just fall to the floor flat, crying harder than before when I first woke up feeling hurt.
I could here my fathers voice echoing in my mind to stop being a baby and man up but my heart felt too weak to stop, my body was aching and I felt sick inside. My mother raised me to be strong but now here I am, weak on the floor over a dream and possibly even the truth.
Y/N’s POV
Jasper was telling me a stupid joke when Monty came past filling up his bottle, Jasper waving at him but Monty gave the weakest smile, he looked hungry, tired and overall not well.
I grabbed my food for the day and wrapped some up for later keeping the best for Monty, heading over to his tent watching as Jasper jumped at John scaring him and me just laughing it off. Standing by Monty’s tent which was the furthest away, hearing sniffles and gasping almost.
“Monty..” I whisper and see him on the floor crying as he tries to pick things up
“Monty.. what’s wrong?” I ask and kneel down in front of him picking up his things
“N-Nothing.. I’m fine...” He sniffled which was a clear lie making me shake my head
“No you’re not fine Monty. Now sit on the chair and tell me what’s wrong.” I said in a stern tone
He sat down on the seat looking up at me as I looked down at him with a worried look, wiping his tears away. A stupid question running out of his mouth making me make an odd face.
“Are you in love with Jasper?” He asked me
“No. He’s a little goofball.. I much prefer smart people Monty. Why would you think that..?” I felt odd speaking about this
“Oh.. I just well.. I had a dream of you both and.. it just felt so real and I woke up to see you both together laughing per usual without me” Monty sighed making my fist clench
“Monty I’m just gonna be honest.. sure Jasper makes me laugh, but you make me smile every day.. you make me believe in love, you give me butterflies, you make me blush, you turn me on.. especially with your bed hair and morning voice.. your intelligence is so attractive.. Monty you are what I think of 24/7” I spoke out in a loud tone
He looked up at me out of words and I just chuckled hugging him and placing the food for him on the table, his head laying on my chest, I could feel his soft chuckle and it made me happy to know he was cheered up. I kissed the top of his head and looked over at his work.
“Maybe you should take a small break from that to free your mind of stress..?” I smirked, a smirk appearing on his face as he pulled me down onto his lap, feeling everything as I got slammed down onto his lap, my body heating up.
Before I knew it, he was pounding inside me over the desk making me scream his name so everyone knows I’m his, and his alone.

~~~
If there was one thing you had learned from living with Harrison, Tom, Harry, and Tuwaine for the past year, it was that everyday was a new adventure- and quarantining together only amplified that experience of basically consistent chaos. You weren’t complaining about that part though because they were your best friends and you enjoyed their company, but some days you hated your living situation. Those days were the days when Harrison would just hang around the house shirtless or when he wouldn’t leave your side all day or when he’d just look too damn good- which is pretty much every day. It was a blessing and a curse. This was all mainly because your crush on Harrison was growing exponentially with every day in quarantine, and, not wanting to ruin your friendship with him or the other boys, you suppressed those feelings.
“Hey, Y/N,” Harrison said, leaning up against your bedroom’s door frame one afternoon.
“Yes?” You hummed as you looked up at him from your laptop in front of you. You bit back a sigh, realizing that today would be another one of those rough days- he had decided to show up randomly in your room, in nothing but loose basketball shorts.Fri
“I was going to do an Instagram live. Wanna join me?” He asked with a hopeful smile.
“Um, sure.” You replied. Harrison never really invited you to join his lives beforehand- he’d always just shout at you to come over once the camera was rolling.
“Sweet, see you outside in like five minutes?” He didn’t give you time to reply before he ducked out of your room, hopefully to go put a shirt on- you didn’t want to think of the chaos he’d create from streaming shirtless.
You cleaned yourself up a little bit, wanting to look presentable because you knew fans would be recording and screenshotting bits of the live, and you made your way downstairs and outside. Harrison smiled at you as you stepped out onto the back patio. You were thankful he had the decency to actually put on a shirt, you weren’t sure if you could handle an Instagram live with that sort of distraction.
“Did you invite the others?” You asked, sitting in a chair beside him while he set up his phone. You noticed he had a couple water bottles already sitting on the table with some snacks, and you wondered just how long he expected this live to be- but yet again, it’s not like you had anything better to do.
“Yeah, they’ll come out when they can. I think Tom and Harry are working on their script, and Tuwaine’s facetiming family.” Harrison explained, “Are you ready?”
“Yep.” You nodded and he started the live. He had his phone propped up on one of those outdoor napkin holders, but it didn’t do much to actually get the two of you in the picture. You laughed as he tried to adjust it, “I’m not even in it, you div.”
“I’m trying!” He whined, but no matter how he angled his phone he couldn’t get it to have you both in the frame, and your chair was already right beside his, so there was no getting closer- or so you thought. He offered, casually, “Sit on my lap.”
“What?” You asked, not sure if you heard him properly.
“Come here.” Harrison grabbed your hands in his, pulling you closer to him with a laugh. You stood from your chair as he tugged you into his lap. You sitting in his lap wasn’t an uncommon occurrence; in fact, you sat in his lap just yesterday as he walked you through how to play Call of Duty. It just wasn’t a common occurrence to be so touchy on an livestream. With your back pressed to his chest, his arms went around your waist to scroll through some of the comments, “Wanna answer questions?”
“It’s your live.” You teased.
“So we’ll answer questions.” He laughed, the vibrations came through his chest to your back and made you blush. “First one, ‘are you two dating?’ Well, no, we are not.”
“Just friends.” You added, even though you felt your heart hurt at the words. You could’ve sworn you felt Harrison tense a little underneath you, but he laughed it off.
“They always think we’re dating.” He said quietly, as if he didn’t want the phone to pick it up. You had to admit it was a common thing that the fans asked because, well, you definitely weren’t as touchy with, say, Tom as you were with Harrison. You thought nothing more of it as Harrison continued with a few more questions. “‘Is Monty there?’ No, he’s back home with my family.”
“I miss him. He’s clearly the superior Osterfield.” You joked.
“Hey,” He pouted, squeezing your arms lightly, “We both know I’m your favorite.”
“No, that’s me.” Tom laughed, coming out into the backyard to join the livestream. He stood behind Harrison’s chair and leaned down so he could be in the camera.
“You can’t be the superior Osterfield.” Harrison stated.
“Can I be the superior Holland?” He asked.
“Tessa’s the superior Holland and Monty’s the superior Osterfield.” You said, definitively. “You two can be second best.”
“‘Who’s the superior roommate?’” Harrison laughed, reading off another question on the live. “Clearly it’s me.”
“It’s absolutely me.” Tom argued.
“I’m not satisfying that with an answer.” You replied, shaking your head at them.
“C’mon, it’s totally me.” The blonde smiled as he held you tight against his chest. You couldn’t help the small blush that found its way onto your cheeks- damn Harrison for being so cute.
“Next question!” You changed the topic, scrolling back through the livestream feed. There were a few comments that gave you butterflies- ‘Y/N and Haz are so cute together’, ‘can they date already and adopt me’, ‘I ship it #Y/NandHazforever’, and “they’re so in love’. You froze reading that last comment, what the hell was Harry playing at commenting that?
It wasn’t until a couple days later that you felt like finally confronting Harry over it. Honestly, you had been dying to ask why he’d comment that, but you couldn’t ever find a time when it was just you and him. That was until today at least.
“Hey, Harry, can I talk to you about something?” You asked him, quietly coming into the study where he was alone, working on editing some pictures while he waited for Tom to return from a phone call.
“Yeah, what’s up?” He replied casually, and you fiddled with your fingers nervously.
“Well, you remember when Haz and I did that live the other day?” You started, and he nodded, wondering where this was going, “I just wanted to ask you about your comment.”
“It was just a joke.” Harry laughed, “You two are so blind though, I thought you wouldn’t see it.”
“Blind?”
“Y/N, you and Haz have been sending each other heart eyes back and forth for months now.” He explained, still sort of laughing, as you stood there, blushing and confused. “I mean you’re so in love with him, it’s obvious.”
“What? Harry, that’s-“ You stopped when Tom reentered the room.
“What’d I miss?” Tom asked, taking his seat at the table beside Harry.
“Y/N’s lying about being in love with Harrison.” Harry stated, making Tom laugh.
“You’ve both got it bad. It’s just funny to watch the two of you act around it.” The older Holland chuckled as he shook his head.
“I’m not-“
“You’re in love with Harrison.” Both boys said simultaneously.
“So what if I am?” You caved out of annoyance. “He definitely doesn’t feel the same, no matter what you two say.” You turned to leave without another word, and you jumped when you saw Harrison standing in the frozen hallway, blue eyes wide. You ducked your head down, rushing past him to go hide in your room for probably the rest of your life.
You’d just admitted that you loved your best friend, and he overheard it- you were too embarrassed to try to think about ever speaking to him, Tom, or Harry again. Hearing a knock at your door, you couldn’t bring yourself to get up and acknowledge it. Instead, you just groaned, hiding your face in your pillow, wanting your bed to just swallow you up and erase you from existence.
“Go away.” You mumbled, hearing someone open your door and make their way into your room. You didn’t have to look to know it was Harrison. He wordlessly laid down in the bed right beside you, mimicking your current state.
“You’re not the only one embarrassed, you know.” He said softly, his words slightly muffled by the pillow. You turned your head to finally face him and found that he was already looking at you. “I’m so stupid, Y/N.”
“Haz, if you’re here to let me down easy, then just go. It’s alright, I’ll get over it.” You stated, trying to make him believe you, but not even you could trick yourself into trusting those words.
“No, it’s not alright. You love me, and I’m an idiot for not seeing it sooner. I’m in love with you, too, and I’m embarrassed that it took me so damn long to figure out that you feel the same.” Your breath caught in your throat; your best friend was lying in front of you, telling you he loves you.
“You’re really in love with me?” You asked.
“I’m really really in love with you.” He laughed lightly.
“Are you gonna kiss me or not then?” You smiled as he leaned in to kiss you. Maybe you should thank Harry for that stupid comment.
After Monty’s attempt at contacting the Ark had fried all of our wristbands, I found myself sat by the fire, staring into it blankly.
The first person I thought about was my mother. If she didn’t know before the dropship descended, she had to have found out soon after. She was probably second in charge, keeping an eye on our vitals. Did she think I was dead? Or, was she still holding onto hope? My mind then drifted to my father, whom I was sure would have accepted that I was gone for good. Finally, I thought of my grandmother, who probably still had no idea what was going on. It wasn’t like she visited me often, usually too busy tending to the Last Tree.
As I thought of my family, slowly beginning to accept that I’d never see them again, Fox’s voice grabbed my attention.
“Guys, look!”
I turned my head, following her finger pointed up at the Sky.
“A shooting star?” Another delinquent asked.
Suddenly, the “star” began to light up, a ring of fire surrounding it. “That’s not a shooting star.” I mumbled, standing up. “It’s a pod.”
Octavia quickly came to my side. “Do you think it’s from the Ark?”
“Bellamy, get out here!” Fox called out.
Bellamy soon emerged from his tent, shirtless with Roma and Bree following behind him. “What’s going on?”
“They’re coming to help us,” Jones smiled. “Now we can finally kick some grounder ass!”
“Please tell me they brought down shampoo,” Roma quipped.
I rolled my eyes, moving closer to Bellamy with Octavia following close behind. “What’s the plan?”
Bellamy looked around before letting out a sigh. He led a few of us towards our main tent. It wasn’t long before the few of us had put together a plan.
“If it cleared the ridge it’s probably near the lake,”
“We’re ready to go,” Octavia said.
“No one’s going anywhere. Not while it’s dark, it isn’t safe.” Bellamy replied. “We’ll head out at first light.”
Mumbles ensued as most of the group piled out of the tent. I watched as Octavia stepped in front of Bellamy, stopping him from leaving. “What if the Grounders get to it first? Bell, we should go now.”
“Octavia’s right,” I said. “We can’t afford to lose any supplies they might’ve sent down here in that pod.”
Bellamy’s face tensed. “I said we wait until sunrise.”
As he pushed past Octavia and exited the tent, the two of us exchanged a worried glance. “He’s hiding something.” I finally said.
Octavia nodded. “He’s definitely hiding something.”
I spent the majority of the rest of the night waiting for Clarke and Finn to return, them having left camp not long after the wristbands had fried. Finally I noticed them heading through the newly built gate, looking around frantically.
Standing from the log I was sat on, I made my way across camp, reaching them just as Fox had.
“Looks like everyone’s up,” Finn remarked.
“Did you guys see it?” Fox asked. “It had to have been from the Ark, right?”
Clarke nodded. “Grab your stuff. We’re gonna go find out.”
I shook my head. “Bellamy said we have to wait until sunrise.”
“Where is he?” Clarke asked, as I pointed to his tent.
Clarke made her way towards Bellamy’s tent, Finn and I following close behind. She pushed the flaps of the tent to the side, being the first of the three of us to step inside.
“Ever hear of knocking, Bitch?” I heard Roma speak from inside the tent. When she noticed Finn and I enter behind Clarke, her face tensed even further. “Oh, great, it’s a free show. Anyone else want to take a look?” She was sitting in the cot with Bree, both of them attempting to cover themselves with a makeshift blanket. Bree was quiet, slowly sinking further under the blanket.
“Where the hell is Bellamy?” Clarke asked.
“He took off a while ago.”
Finn looked around the tent. “His gear is gone.”
Clarke shook her head. “He told everyone to stay here. Whatever is in that pod, he wants it. We’ve got to get there before he does.”
Clarke and Finn quickly exited the tent, causing Roma to roll her eyes. “You’re welcome!”
I smiled nervously, slowly backing out of the tent. “Sorry about that.”
After exiting the tent, I jogged to catch up with Clarke and Finn, who were almost at the gate already.
“I should’ve known he’d go for that radio,” Clarke mumbled.
Finn raised an eyebrow. “How were you supposed to know something like that?”
“He’s spent every single minute since we landed making sure no one on the Ark finds out that we’re alive,” Clarke responded. “Of course he’d make a run for that pod before anyone else got a chance.”
“You can’t always predict what people are going to do,” I spoke up.
Clarke shook her head. “That’s exactly what I have to do to keep us all safe. I screwed up, let myself get distracted.” He glanced at Finn for a moment, before looking ahead once more. “I won’t let that happen again.”
We had been searching for hours, with no luck, before the sun finally came up. Clarke and I separated from Finn, hoping to have better luck in locating the pod in groups. As Clarke and I stepped into a clearing, we saw the pod sitting next to a tree. Clarke wasted no time, rushing over to it and yanking the door open.
I found myself behind her, staring into the pod over her shoulder. Inside was a girl, not much older than us, her hand placed on top of the wound on her forehead.
“Oh, my god.” Clarke breathed.
The girl looked at us, her eyes wide. “I made it?”
Clarke and I nodded in unison.
The girl struggled to pull herself free from the pod, Clarke and I helping her regain her balance. Finally, she stepped away from the pod, slowly walking through the leaves on the ground. A smile appeared on her face as she began spinning around.
“I dreamed it would smell like this,” The girl said, noticing the drops of water falling upon her bare arm. “Is this rain?”
Clarke smiled. “Welcome home.”
“Raven?”
Clarke and I spun around, spotting Finn who had just stepped through the bushes. His eyes were wide, his face as pale as a ghost.
“Finn!” Raven called out, rushing over to him. The two kissed for a moment, before Raven pulled back. “I knew you couldn’t be dead.”
“You’re bleeding.” Finn spoke, running his thumb along the cut.
Raven winced, though maintained her smile. “Right now, I don’t care.”
“How did you get here?”
“You know the big scrap hold? On K deck?”
Finn nodded, eying the pod behind Clarke and I. “You built that from scrap?”
“I kind of rebuilt it,” Raven spoke, earning a laugh from Finn. “What, like it’s hard? It just needed a couple of parts and some love.”
“You’re insane.”
“I’d do more for you, and worse. Just like you would for me.” As the words left Raven’s lips, her legs gave out, Finn quickly grabbing her arms.
“Come sit,” Finn spoke, leading her to a rock. He removed his jacket and draped it around her, before eying her cut one last time. “Let me get you something for that.”
Finn rushed over to Clarke, who quietly handed him an ice pack. He frowned, noticing her eyes were scanning every inch of the forest, except for where he stood. “I’m sorry.” He mumbled.
Clarke looked at him, her eyes shifting to me for just a moment before landing back on the ground. “Let’s not talk about this.”
Finn looked over at me before nodding, rushing back over to Raven.
I watched Clarke’s expression change over and over again. “Are you okay?” I finally asked.
Clarke didn’t speak, simply nodding before heading over to Finn and Raven. “She needs to put pressure on her wound.”
“This is Clarke,” Finn spoke. “And this is Athena.”
Raven’s eyes lit up. “Clarke Griffin?”
Clarke nodded.
“This was all because of your mom.”
“My mom?”
Raven nodded. “This was all her plan. We were trying to come down here together. If we waited-” She trailed off, her face growing pale. “Oh, my God. We couldn't wait because the council was voting whether to kill three hundred people to save air.”
“When?” I asked.
“Today. We have to tell them you guys are alive!” Raven stood from the rock, rushing over to her pod. “The radio's gone. It must've gotten loose during reentry. I should've strapped it to the A-strut. Stupid!” Raven hit the pod with her fist.
“No it didn’t,” I mumbled.
“This is all my fault,” Clarke shook her head. “Some else got here before us. We have to find him.”
While Finn and Raven went off on their own, Clarke and I remained together, searching the woods for Bellamy. He finally appeared a little ways ahead of us, just casually walking along. Clarke and I exchanged glances before running up to him.
“Bellamy!” Clarke snarled. “Where is it?”
“Hey, Princess, you taking a walk in the woods?” He asked, smiling.
Clarke stopped in front of him, her face red. “They’re getting ready to kill three hundred people up there to save oxygen, and I can promise you it won’t be council members. It’ll be working people.” She poked his chest. “Your people.”
Suddenly, Finn came out of nowhere, shoving Bellamy hard. “Where the hell is the radio, Bellamy?”
Bellamy shoved Finn back. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Bellamy Blake?” Raven asked, her soft expression turning to a smirk. “They’re looking for you everywhere.”
“Shut up.”
“What is she talking about?” I asked.
“He shot Chancellor Jaha.”
Our eyes all shot to Bellamy, who kept his eyes planted on the ground. “That’s why you took the wristbands. You needed everyone to think the ground wasn’t survivable.” Clarke choked out.
Finn shook his head. “All of that ‘whatever the hell we want’? You just care about saving your own skin.”
Bellamy didn’t respond, instead turning and beginning to walk away. Raven shook her head, following close behind him. “Hey, Shooter! Where’s my radio?” She jumped in front of him, causing Bellamy to stop.
“Get out of my way.”
“Where is it?” Raven pressed once again.
Bellamy shook his head. “I should’ve killed you when I had the chance.”
“Really? Well, I’m right here.” Raven stepped closer before Bellamy grabbed her suit, shoving her up against a tree. In a matter of seconds Raven had pulled out a knife, pointing it at Bellamy’s throat. “Where’s my radio?”
“Stop it!” Clarke yelled, getting between them.
Bellamy let go of Raven, turning away from the group. When he finally turned back around, his expression had softened. “Jaha deserved to die. You all know that.”
“Yeah, he isn’t my favourite person either, but he isn’t dead.”
We all looked back at Raven.
“What?” Bellamy choked out.
Raven sighed. “You’re a lousy shot.”
I turned to look back at Bellamy, quickly approaching him. “Bellamy, don’t you see what this means?” I asked, my voice quiet. “You’re not a murderer.”
Clarke stood next to me. “You always did what you had to do to protect your sister. That’s who you are, and you can do it again by protecting three hundred of your people.”
Bellamy looked back at me, his eyes wet. I locked my eyes onto his, a frown forming across my face. “Where’s the radio?”
Bellamy stared back before finally, he shook his head. “It’s too late.”
After Bellamy had finally told us where he tossed the radio, Clarke and I returned to camp to gather a search party. The sun was slowly disappearing behind the hills in the distance before finally Jones pulled something out of the lake.
“Guys, I found it!”
Everyone rushed over, Raven quickly grabbing it from his hands.
“Can you fix it?” Clarke asked.
Raven examined it for a moment. “Maybe, but it’ll take at least half the day to dry out the components to see what’s broken.”
“Like I said, it’s too late.” Bellamy spoke from behind us.
I could feel my fists ball up and I spun around, marching through the shallow water to meet Bellamy on dry land. “Do you have any idea what you did? Do you even care?” I asked, my jaw clenched.
“You asked me to help. I helped.”
“Three hundred people are going to die today, because of you!” Clarke snapped from behind me.
I shook my head. “How can you just not care?”
Bellamy avoided my eyes, staring directly down at his feet. I knew he wanted to speak. To defend himself. Maybe he had finally realized he just couldn’t.
“Wait,” Raven spoke up. “We don’t have to talk to the Ark. We just have to let them know we’re down here, right?”
Finn nodded. “Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?”
Raven smiled, looking around. “I think I have an idea.”
Raven took Clarke, Finn and a few others back to her pod in hopes of savaging parts. Her plan was to send flares high enough using rocket fuel that the Ark would see them. By dark we had managed to set them up, everyone gathering around, anxiously waiting for the show to start.
“You guys ready?” Raven asked, cheers erupting through the crowd. “Alright then, light ‘em up!”
In just a few moments, flares began shooting off into the sky, lighting up the entire camp. Everyone just stared on, in awe of the sight. I thought back on the books I’d read on the Ark as a kid, picturing the images of Fireworks. This wasn’t quite like them, but they were probably the closest we’d ever get.
My eyes left the sky for a moment, landing on Bellamy, who stood off to the side. His arms were folded across his chest, a frown painted neatly across his face. As much as I wanted to ignore him, I couldn’t help but join him.
“Not enjoying the show?” I asked, slipping beside him. “I mean, why would you? They come down here, you’re kind of screwed.”
Bellamy’s face tensed.
I thought back to our time in the Cave. What he’d said to me that night. “What’s done is done, Bellamy. You can’t change it now, so learn from it, do better next time.”
Bellamy looked at me from the corner of his eye, his expression turning into a small smirk as he looked down at the ground, them back up at me. “Seriously?”
“What?” I asked, smiling. “You were right then and I’m right now. You did what you had to do to protect your sister, but if you want any chance of being forgiven when they get down here, you need to do better. You need to show them that you’re worthy of forgiveness, just like the rest of us.”
Bellamy shook his head. “It’s not that simple, Athena.”
I let out a sigh, turning my attention back to the sky. “Who says it can’t be?”
Morning comes quickly.
Sleeping in a tree is uncomfortable, and the fear of falling leaves you restless and unable to sleep. As soon as the light breaks the horizon, you climb down from your lookout and venture past the makeshift camp, into the woods. You spend a long time watching the sun rise higher in the sky, thinking about your life and what led you here.
It doesn’t take long for the sound of rowdy teenagers to reach you, and you decide to head back to camp to wait for Clarke and the arrival of food. Your stomach growls in agreement and you shake your head before standing from the fallen log and pointing yourself in the direction of camp. You’re only a few minutes out when you hear a twig snap behind you. You turn quickly, eyes scanning the forest for the source of the noise. Finding nothing, you continue on, more alert than before.
You stop again when you hear another branch break and you whip your head around, watching and listening. You swear you hear footsteps running through the woods, and you begin to panic. You take off running towards the camp, head still searching for the source of the noise. You sigh a little when you hear the growing sound of the delinquents, but you keep running until you accidentally collide with someone.
The impact sends you flying to the ground, and you land on your back with a groan. You lie there, looking up at the sun filtering through the trees, when a voice asks, “Hey, are you okay?”
A figure moves into your vision and blocks out the sun, and you start to reply until you see his face.
Wells.
He holds out a hand to help you up, but you swipe it away and quickly stand. You both watch each other, and he quietly says your name. You shake your head, already cutting him off. “Whatever you’re about to say, I don’t want to hear it. You’re the reason my dad is dead.” You practically spit the last word at him.
His voice is quiet, barely above a whisper. “I’m sorry.”
“Sorry? Did you not hear me? He’s DEAD because of you! Gone. Floated.” Tears well up in your eyes, “I never got to say goodbye.”
He steps towards you, and you look up at him in anger, swallowing back your tears. “Just stay away from me, Wells. Me and Clarke.”
You turn and head into the camp, not stopping until you reach the dropship. You pull the makeshift door to the side, ready to check on your collected water, before coming face to face with a naked Bellamy Blake.
You freeze in shock, eyes scanning his body, before coming to land on his face. He smirks at you. “Enjoying the view, princess?”
You give him a look of disgust, “The exact opposite actually.”
He pulls on his pants, letting out a short laugh. “Really? Because it looked like-”
“I don’t care what you think it looked like. I was just coming in here to check on something.” For the first time, you see a girl behind him getting dressed, and your brows lift in disbelief. “And now I’m leaving.”
You turn and scurry out of the dropship, before colliding straight into Wells, who is mid argument with Atom. You manage to catch yourself from falling this time, but you roll your eyes. “Seriously? Are you everywhere?”
Bellamy comes out of the dropship, still shirtless, and eyes Wells and the pile of clothes in his hands. “This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply.” He snatches the clothes from his hands, and Wells lunges at Bellamy, only to be stopped by Atom. Bellamy motions for Atom to let him go. “You want it back? Take it.”
Bellamy and Wells stand in place, eyes locked, tension filling the air. Wells breaks first, and turns to toss the rest of the clothes, which are immediately grabbed by a group of teenagers. Wells turns back to Bellamy, “Is this what you want? Chaos?”
Bellamy smirks, “What's wrong with a little chaos?”
He starts to pull on his shirt when a scream rings out through the camp. You all take off running towards it, and find Murphy holding a girl over the fire. “Bellamy. Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first.”
Wells runs towards Murphy and pushes her off the girl, “Let her go!” He turns back to Bellamy, eyes pleading. “You can stop this.”
“Stop this?” Bellamy smirks, eyes flitting to the side, where Murphy is getting up and running towards Wells. “I'm just getting started.”
Murphy’s fist connects with Wells' face, sending him to the side. Wells recovers quickly and starts to fight back, both boys evenly matched in terms of skill. Finally, Wells manages to get the upper hand, and he delivers a final blow to Murphy before standing and walking back towards Bellamy. “Don't you see you can't control this?”
You watch as Murphy rolls over, pulling a makeshift knife out of his pocket. You look over at Bellamy, wondering what he’s going to do. As Murphy bears down on Wells, Bellamy steps forward, stopping him. “Wait!”
Your brows lift in surprise, and you watch as he looks between the two boys. After a second, he holds up his own makeshift blade for Wells. “Fair fight.”
You shake your head as he steps back, stopping at your side. You mutter, “You can’t be serious.”
Bellamy turns to you, away from the fighting boys. “Something wrong?”
“You’re really gonna let them pick each other off?”
He tips his head to the side, appraising you. “I thought you didn’t like Wells. Heard he was the reason your dad got floated.”
You flinch, the pain from your father’s fate affecting you just as much today as it did when you first found out. You reach up and touch your necklace, Bellamy’s eyes watching the movement. You shake yourself out of your thoughts, and glance over at the pair before looking back to Bellamy. “I don’t give a shit about Wells, or whether he lives or dies.” You watch as Wells grabs Murphy in a chokehold, and you turn and give Bellamy the same appraising side eye. “I’m just wondering, how long until Murphy gets tired of taking orders?”
Before he can answer you, your twin’s voice cuts through the crowd. “Wells! Let him go!”
She jogs into the clearing, the rest of the group right behind her, as Wells releases Murphy and pushes him away. Murphy spins around and lunges at him, only for Bellamy to step in and hold him back. “Enough, Murphy.” As Monty guides a limping Octavia into the clearing, Bellamy runs to check on her.
It takes only a second for you both to realize  something is missing. “Where's the food?”
“We didn't make it to Mount Weather.”
You step closer to them, “What the hell happened out there?”
Clarke turns to look at you, gaze serious. “We were attacked.”
“Attacked? By what?”
Finn’s voice answers first, “Not what. Who. It turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last Grounder.”
“It's true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong.” Clarke looks around at the group of people closest to her. “There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us.”
“Yeah, the bad news is the Grounders will.”
Wells looks around at the group in confusion. “Where's the kid with the goggles?”
“Jasper was hit. They took him.” Clarke's eyes fall to his arm. “Where’s your wristband?”
He cuts his eyes to Bellamy. “Ask him.”
“How many?”
Murphy answers, proud. “Twenty-four and counting.”
She shakes her head. “You idiots. Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here. They need to know the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. You're killing us!”
Bellamy glares at Clarke, and steps closer to the other delinquents. “We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her. She's one of the privileged. If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they'll forgive your crimes. I say you're not criminals! You're fighters, survivors! The Grounders should worry about us!”
The others yell in agreement, and you shake your head at their ignorance. Clarke must feel the same, because she stalks off, Monty hot on her heels. You watch them go, before glancing at Octavia, and the fresh blood on her leg. Getting an idea, you run to the dropship and grab some of your water, along with one of the seatbelts and a discarded shirt. You go and search for Octavia, finding her sitting on a ledge, letting Bellamy inspect her cut. You smile at her as you approach, and she returns it. “Why’d you run off yesterday? I thought we were going to get into trouble together.”
You glance at Bellamy and back at her, “‘Other sibling’ stuff.” She nods in understanding. “Looks like you got into enough trouble without me though. I got some stuff for your leg, can I take a look?”
She nods, and Bellamy gives you room to look at the wound. You tear the shirt into pieces and dip it into the water before looking up at her, “This is probably gonna hurt.”
You wipe the blood from the bite, and Octavia lets out a groan. You clean it up and look at it closely. “Good news is, it’s not deep.”
You take another piece of the shirt and lay it on top of the cut, before glancing at Bellamy. “Hold this here for me?”
“Yeah.” He reaches for the cloth, fingers brushing yours in the process, causing you to flinch. Subtly, he shifts his focus, his eyes settling onto you. You grab the seat belt and secure the fabric over the wound, as Bellamy looks up and scolds Octavia. “You could have been killed.”
Clarke speaks up behind you, and you turn to watch her approach. “She would have been if Jasper didn't jump in to pull her out.”
Octavia checks the bandage, and starts to stand.“You guys leaving? I'm coming, too.”
Bellamy grabs her shoulder and pushes her back down, “No, no. No way. Not again.”
“He's right. Your leg's just gonna slow us down.” Her gaze shifts to Bellamy, “I'm here for you.”
Your brows raise in surprise and Wells protests behind her. “Clarke, what are you doing?”
“I hear you have a gun.” He looks down and lifts the edge of his shirt to reveal the gun in his waistband. Your mind flashes back to last night. “Good. Follow me.” She starts walking only to be stopped by Bellamy’s next question.
“And why would I do that?”
“Because you want them to follow you, and right now, they're thinking only one of us is scared.”
As she walks off, you turn to Octavia. “I’ll go and get into trouble for the both of us this time. Deal?”
She sighs and then smiles, “Deal.”
You jog off to catch up with Clarke, who turns as you approach. Wells runs ahead to give you a minute. “I’m coming too.”
“Fine. But you better keep up.”
You let out a snort, “Easy, I was always the better twin.”
You both look at each other and she rolls her eyes. “You wish.”
She gives you one last look and jogs to catch up with Wells. You look back when you hear footsteps behind you, and you lock eyes with Bellamy and Murphy. You turn to watch where you’re going and let out a sigh. This should be fun.
You keep your eyes on Clarke and Wells ahead of you, following their footsteps as they move through the woods. Bellamy jogs to catch up to them, and Murphy keeps close by his side. “Hey, hold up. What's the rush?” Bellamy punctuates the question with a shrug, gun in hand. “You don't survive a spear through the heart.”
The group stops in a clearing, and Wells glares at Bellamy. “Put the gun away, Bellamy.”
Murphy steps forward in defense of his leader. “Well, why don't you do something about it, huh?”
Clarke ignores them both, looking at you and Bellamy as she catches you up. “Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he'd have died instantly. It doesn't mean we have time to waste.”
Bellamy lunges forward and grabs her wrist, “As soon as you take this wristband off, we can go.”
You step up instantly, pulling Clarke’s arm free of his grip, and putting yourself between them. “Don’t touch her.”
Clarke steps from behind you and glares at Bellamy, “The only way the Ark is gonna think we’re dead, is if we’re actually dead. Got it?”
Bellamy looks between you both with a smirk, but his response is cut off by approaching footsteps. “You call this a rescue party? Got to split up, cover more ground. Clarke, come with me.”
Clarke steps closer to Finn, and they split off from the group, taking the high ground. Bellamy storms off in the direction the group was originally heading in, and Murphy follows. You veer off to the right and search the land close to the river. Wells seems to hesitate, unsure where to go, before finally following Bellamy at a distance.
Most of the search is spent in silence, as everyone keeps an eye out for any sign of Jasper. Every now and then you hear the faint whisper of conversation from Finn and Clarke, until eventually they put so much distance between you that everything goes silent again. As your eyes scan the river’s edge and surrounding trees, you’re surprised to hear bits and pieces of the hushed conversation between Bellamy and Wells.
“...more in common than meets the eye, huh?”
Wells deadpans, “We have nothing in common.”
You follow the line of the river, the sound of running water growing louder. Bellamy’s voice gets lost in the din of a waterfall. “Finn around, Clarke doesn't even see you. It's like you're not even here.”
You stop at the edge of the waterfall, admiring the view. It’s a small fall, not very powerful, and it drains into a small swimming hole. It’s framed by a semi circle of trees, dense enough to conceal anyone swimming in the water from someone lurking in the woods.
You move away from the water’s edge, skeptical of the drop, given your inability to swim. As you get deeper into the trees, a twig snaps somewhere behind you. Your mind instantly flashes back to earlier that morning, and then to Clarke’s warning of not being alone. You start to walk faster, looking for any sign of Clarke and the others. When you hear more movement behind you, you break into a run, tearing through the trees in search of a familiar face.
Finally, you spot Bellamy up ahead, and you’re surprised to find relief flow through you at the sight of him. You slow as you near him, and he turns at your approach. He ignores you panting for breath, his eyes instead traveling to the moon that sits along your collarbone. There’s nothing fancy about it, just a small silver moon secured to a chain. “Was that from him?” You turn slightly to meet his eyes, and he adds, “Your dad?”
You say nothing, choosing instead to continue through the woods in silence. He goes for a different approach. “You know, I don’t get your attachment to that bracelet. What has the Ark ever done for you?”
“Isn’t this the same speech you gave Wells last night before you ambushed him?” You give him a look of annoyance. “Is Murphy about to jump out of the bushes and take my hand off?”
“No. Not yet anyways.”
Before you can answer, you burst through the trees, into a clearing, where Clarke and Finn are pointing at something on the ground, showing Wells what they found. Murphy is standing nearby, uninterested. You run over to them and Clarke looks up at you as you approach. “Where have you been? We found a trail of blood, and we think it’s Jasper’s.”
“Trail of blood, huh? Let’s see where it takes us.”
She and Finn stand, and start to follow the trail, and you fall in line behind them, with the others right behind you.
“Hey, how do we know this is the right way?”
You look back at Murphy and shrug, and Bellamy smirks. “We don't. Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker.”
Wells turns to look at Bellamy. “It's called a cutting sign. Fourth-year earth skills. He's good.”
Finn turns back to the group, slightly exasperated. “You want to keep it down or should I paint a target on your backs?”
He stops and studies a branch, and Bellamy slides up next to Wells. “See? You're invisible.”
As Finn bends down and inspects a puddle of blood, a moan cuts through the trees and reaches the group. Everyone looks around, confused.
“What the hell was that?”
Clarke glances at Bellamy, “Now would be a good time to take out that gun.”
He pulls it from his waistband as another groan reaches you, and Finn takes off running. Everyone follows behind him in a line, Clarke, then you, Wells, Bellamy, and Murphy. He comes to a stop in a clearing, and as you step past the trees, your eyes land on Jasper, strung up in a tree.
“Jasper. Oh, my God.”
Clarke jogs into the clearing, eyes locked on Jasper, and you follow right behind her. Bellamy looks up at the tree as he follows you into the clearing, “What the hell is this?”
As Clarke nears the base of the tree, you hear a cracking sound. Your eyes dart towards her and you watch as she starts to fall, legs already disappearing into a large hole. You lunge forward and grab her arm, both of your hands locking around each other’s wrists as you hit the ground. Clarke’s weight starts to pull you towards her, over the edge of the hole, inch by inch. Behind you, you hear Finn and Wells yelling in a panic, “Get them up! Pull them up! Pull them up! Get them!”
You reach out and grab Clarke’s other wrist and she grabs yours, both of your eyes filled with panic. You watch the pit of spikes move closer and closer to impaling your twin, just as a hand closes around your ankle and stops your sliding. Seconds later, a collection of arms grabs Clarke and hoists her over the side, onto the safety of solid ground.
She lands in a heap beside you, and you sit up and meet her eyes, breath heaving in panic as the reality of what almost happened starts to set in. Finn kneels beside Clarke, checking on her, and she turns away. You glance at the figure near your ankles, surprised to find Bellamy there. You nod in thanks, and he nods once in return. Finn helps you and Clarke to your feet, and Clarke immediately turns back to Jasper. “We need to get him down.”
Finn moves closer to the tree, “I'll climb up there and cut the vines.”
Wells starts to follow, “Yeah, yeah, I'm with you.”
Finn turns quickly, “No. Stay with them.” He turns to look at Murphy, “You. Let's go.”
“There's a poultice on his wound.”
Wells furrows his brows in confusion, “Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?”
Bellamy glances down at the pit of spears and back up at Jasper, “Maybe what they're trying to catch likes its dinner to be breathing.”
“Maybe what they're trying to catch is us.”
You all look around in fear, eyes scanning the trees and brush for any sign of life, as Murphy and Finn work quickly to get Jasper down. You all watch as they free the vines securing him, only pausing when a low growl comes from beneath the brush.
You whip your head towards the sound, “What the hell was that?”
Bellamy steps back, away from the tree, fear in his voice. “Grounders?”
The growling grows louder, and you watch as Clarke tenses up. You follow her eyes and let out a quiet gasp when you see the black panther loom into view. Clarke backs up and yells out, “Bellamy, gun!”
You look over at Bellamy, as he pats his waistband, no gun in sight. Before he can question it, a shot rings out, and you all turn towards the sound, shocked to find Wells pointing the gun at the panther and firing. One of the bullets catches it in the thigh, and it leaps into the bushes surrounding the clearing. You and Bellamy step back as it runs around you, growling and snarling as it moves through the bushes, before everything stills for a split second.
Then with a loud growl, the panther leaps from the bushes behind you. You turn just in time to see it flying towards you, inches from your face before it drops to the ground, dead.
Your mouth drops open, in shock, and you turn and look at Clarke, then Wells. Bellamy does the same, breath coming out in pants. “Now she sees you.”
You all stand in shocked silence a few more minutes, before Clarke once again takes charge. “Wells, get the parachute out of your pack.”
He reaches in his pack and pulls the parachute out, before handing it to her. She tosses it to you, “Help Bellamy bag up the panther so we can carry it back for food.”
You nod, and she turns back to Wells. “Looks like they almost got Jasper freed. We should help them down.”
They move closer to the tree and you turn back to the panther, stepping closer to it. Bellamy eyes it with skepticism, “Is it dead?”
You nudge it with the toe of your boot, and it doesn’t move. “Looks like it. If you’ll lift the head, I can slide the parachute under the body.”
He steps forward and lifts the top half of the animal, giving you enough space to slide the parachute under the body. You then repeat the action with the lower half, before twisting the ends to close it off, securing the animal inside. Minutes later, Finn and Wells come walking over, Jasper held between them. Clarke steps up beside them, “We don’t have time to waste, let’s go.”
She leads the way, and the rescue team follows, followed by Bellamy and Murphy, leaving you to bring up the rear.
-
The walk back to camp is silent, as everyone processes the day’s events, and the near death experiences. The sun sets quickly, long before you are near camp, and the darkness welcomes a whole host of terrifying sounds and shadows. The moonlight shines through the trees, nearly full, and providing the only light to guide you home.
You reach the camp when the moon is directly overhead, welcomed by a crew of anxious teenagers. Clarke, Finn, and Wells take Jasper straight inside of the dropship, and you watch as Bellamy and Murphy drop the panther near the fire.
“Who's hungry?”
The delinquents let out a celebratory yell, cheering Bellamy on for providing the one thing you all desperately wanted. Octavia hugs him, a smile on both their faces, and you are suddenly reminded of Clarke, and the distance between you. You turn away from the scene and head into your tree, immediately looking up and connecting the stars in the sky, forming constellations.
-
They make quick work of preparing dinner, and soon the smell of cooked meat reaches you in your place in the trees. You climb down, eyes falling to the line of people near the fire. You watch as someone steps up and offers their arm, before their wristband is pried off in exchange for food. You shake your head at the sight, and turn towards the dropship, deciding to look for Clarke, finding her lost in conversation with Finn. You freeze in place, as Finn walks towards the fire and reaches for two pieces of meat. Murphy steps towards him, trying to stop him. “Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait, wait. What, you think you play by different rules?”
Finn shrugs, “I thought there were no rules.”
They stare at each other for a minute before Finn turns, smiling at Clarke. You start to walk towards them, to join them, before she follows him into the woods, leaving you alone. You move back towards the fire, deciding to grab your share and take it to your spot. As you reach the fire, you watch as another teenager tries to mimic Finn, moving towards the meat, wristband still firmly clasped around his wrist. Bellamy steps towards him and grabs his wrist, before pulling back and landing a punch on the kid’s jaw. He turns and sees you standing there, and you keep your eyes locked on his as you reach forward, grab a stick of meat and take a bite. You give him a small nod before turning and walking away. Bellamy runs after you, “Hey! No food without a wristband.”
You glance over your shoulder as he approaches, but keep walking back to your tree. He grabs your arm and spins you around, “I’m talking to you.”
You pull your arm from his grip and take another bite, “Yeah, I heard you. But I told you yesterday, I’m not giving you my wristband.”
He snatches the meat from your hands, “Then you don’t eat.”
You lunge for the food, “Screw you, Bellamy. Give it back.”
He pulls the food away from you, lifting it higher. “Not without your wristband.”
You step closer, reaching for the food. “Bellamy, seriously.”
He smirks down at you, “That’s the deal.” You jump towards your dinner, missing it by centimeters, and Bellamy lets out a small laugh. “Shumway said you didn’t know a good deal when you saw it. Guess he was right.”
You step back, as if he slapped you. Tears threaten to fall from your eyes, but you push them back down, not wanting to give him the satisfaction. “You’re an asshole.”
You turn and walk away, careful to keep your shoulders back and head high, until you reach your tree and climb into it. As soon as you are hidden from the eyes of the camp, you allow yourself to cry, the pain from the last couple of years spilling over. Quiet sobs wrack your body as you relive that first day with Shumway, and every day since. The tears turn to anger as you wish him nothing but pain and suffering, because it’s the only thing he deserves. Soon, the tears slow and the sobs stop, and you lean back against the trunk of the tree, suddenly exhausted. Your eyes instinctively find the moon, surrounded by stars, and you wish for nothing more than to get lost in the sky. A new constellation to join the stars, born from suffering, forever immortalized by your tragic history. You fall asleep mapping the stars, looking for the faint pattern for constellation 89, the invisible la lune.
Annnddd now August is being the rebellious kid.
I’m glad they brought up Belle’s case here as well bc i thought they’d completely overshadowed it. STELLA AND BELLE ARE SO CUTE! I WANT SO MUCH MORE OF THEM
-I love how this show is really taking the time to address the difficulties someone like Micki- A Female Latina would go through- the sexism, blatant disrespect and disregard. Micki’s character is also something that’s very well written and acted(Lindsey ily) and portrayed extremely well. One of my favorite things about Walker is how he really trusts Micki, views her as an equal, and wants to earn her trust, not demand it. It’s perfect(cordirez breakdown time). Micki is also slowly letting her fences down around him and it’s a huge and very delightful to see step. I love and adore their friendship and chemistry so much.
Anyways! As you can see the entire episode was so enjoyable and I loved it. The best part of this was definitely the Cordirez friendship development and i cannot wait to see where it goes from here!
Speculation/Thoughts for Episode 5:- So it’s for sure that Walker is going back undercover as Duke who’s a baseball...person? Idk he was wearing a baseball hat so :) Walker’s past is now very much mixed in with his present and I AM SCARED. What he’s doing is yet to be revealed but Tywla is coming back and that will just. mess. things. up. The scene in which Walker is yelling at August GOD SO NOT READY FOR THAT. It feels like him and his kids might go back to how they were before. I really don’t want that to happen. Also why am I expecting a major cliffhanger.
HEY BUT THERE’S SHIRTLESS WALKER AND! MICKI RIDING THAT MECHANICAL HORSE IN A BAR OR SMTH AND MORE INSIGHT INTO WHAT TREY IS DOING SO IM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT.
And it’s going on hiatus. Idk how to deal with that. :(
Virago: 02. Goggles
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/N was sent to the ground after spending five years in the Skybox for stealing medical supplies and murder. How will she deal with her new environment and learn to survive on earth? Will she crack under the pressure of becoming a leader of the 100 or will she embrace it.
Post Date: 04.14.20
Word count: 3.8k
Pairing: Bellamy Blake x Reader
Based off: 01x02 “Earth skills”
Masterlist
You wake up to some rustling noises from Bellamy’s little fort, signifying that he was fondling with some girl. You get up not being able to deal with the noise anymore. You walk out to find people hanging out and enjoying their newfound freedom on earth. The only person you found that wasn’t was Wells, who was holding a shovel and heading towards the outskirts of the camp.
You grab another shovel and walk up to him, “Want some help?” You ask, walking up beside him, but he ignores your question. You turn to face him, “Look, I’m sorry for what I said last night, I’m just not a fan of anyone on the Ark and I’m sorry for what happened last night… You know that I would’ve stopped it if I could.” You say.
“Then why didn’t you? You were clearly watching the whole thing. And don’t you understand that we need them to come down?” He asks, walking around you.
“What was I supposed to do against four guys? Beat them all up?” You ask following him and get no response. “I will try to keep Bellamy and his posse under control, he trusts me enough to consider my opinion. Or at least I think. I’m sorry for letting that happen. We don’t need anyone to come down, we have people here to help us survive, we can handle ourselves.”
He sighs, “ Fine, I accept your apology. Let’s just not talk about the whole wristband thing, I’ll just trust that you know what you’re doing, I guess. A little help would be nice in all honesty,” He says and gives a small smile.
We make it to the outskirts of the camp, where the bodies of the two kids who died in the Dropship were. We each dug a grave, stripped the kids of their clothes, and buried them. It wasn’t the most pleasurable experience, but it had to be done. As we walked back into the camp, Atom, Bellamy’s little henchman, asked us where we got the clothes.
“We buried the kids who died in the landing,” You respond.
“Smart, I’ll take it from here. There’s always a market for…” Atom says as he tries to take the clothes from Wells’ hands.
“We share based on need, just like back home,” Wells’ protests back and pulls away.
“You still don’t get it, do you, Chancellor? This is home now. Your father’s rules no longer apply.” Bellamy says walking out of the drop ship shirtless with a gun in his pants, the girl he was with earlier not too far behind him, they kiss before she walks away. You just roll your eyes at the sight. He walks up and takes a shirt from your arms and Well’s tries to take it back but fails as Atom holds him back.
“You want it? Take it.” Bellamy says staring right at Wells.
“Guys, this pissing contest is stupid. Let’s just drop this, please.” You say looking between both of them before Wells just throws the clothes towards the group of kids behind us. You just drop the clothes beside yourself, the kids run up next to you clamoring at them.
“Is this what you want? Chaos?” Wells asks, clearly directing it at Bellamy.
“What’s wrong with a little chaos?” Bellamy returns and you roll your eyes at him.
We hear a girl scream in the distance and start to make our way over to the source. As we file down the hill, we see Murphy holding a girl towards a fire, “ Bellamy. Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figure, it’ll look better if we suffer a little bit first.” Murphy says.
“Let her go!” Wells exclaims as he runs and pushes Murphy back, making him let the girl go. “You can stop this,” He says turning to Bellamy.
“Stop this? I’m just getting started” Bellamy responds. You see Murphy get up looking like he’s about to murder Wells. Before he got to Wells, you run between him and Bellamy and punch Murphy right in the face.
“You’re gonna have to try harder than that” Murphy says and starts running towards you and landing punches to your stomach. You were able to get in a few in before you noticed that he got low enough for you to pull yourself up and around his shoulders. Once you were on his shoulders, you pulled him towards the ground, slamming his body into the earth. You position yourself so you were able to give him more punches to the face before he finally seemed to give up.
You get up off the ground and catch your breath, “Don’t you see you can’t control this?” Wells says gesturing to you and Murphy. The next thing you know, you feel the blade of Murphy’s knife once again on your skin, “You’re dead,” He says menacingly next to your ear.
“You sure about that? Because I think a girl just kicked your ass.” You snicker.
“That’s it” Murphy says and you feel his blade draw my blood as he slowly drags it down your cheek.
“Wait. Fair fight.” Bellamy says and holds a knife up to you. You take it and Murphy reluctantly lets you go.
You turn to face Murphy and wait for him to make his move. He lunges at you but you avoid it and try to make a move on him, but he avoids your blade too. He lunges at you again, but you weren’t fast enough and felt the blade skim across your stomach. You take a short moment to get ahold of yourself, taking in the sting from the cut. You could feel the blood spreading on your shirt, but you didn’t stand down. Murphy once again lunges at you, but instead of getting you. You duck under his arm and pull him into the same position he had you in earlier, with your blade to his neck. Before you could inflict any pain we were interrupted by a voice across the way.
“Y/N! Let him go!” Clake yells making her way over to us with Finn following closely behind. You shove Murphy away from you. He aggressively lunges at you again, but Bellamy steps between us to stop him from getting too close. “Enough, Murphy,” He says strenuously.
“Octavia. Are you alright? Where's the food?” Bellamy says running towards Monty and Octavia, helping her over a branch.
“We didn’t make it to Mount Weather,” Finn responds.
“Well then, what the hell happened?” You asked, still breathing heavily.
“We were attacked,” Clarke responds.
“Attacked? By what?” Wells Questions.
“Not by what. Who. It turns out when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn’t the last grounder.” Finn states.
“It’s true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won’t kill us.” Clarke explains.
“Yeah, the bad news is the grounder’s will.” Finn finishes.
“Wheres the kid with the goggles? ummmm…. Jasper” You say a bit slower than usual.
“Jasper was hit. They took him. Where is your wristband?” Clarke says taking Wells’ wrist in her hand.
“Ask him,” He says sternly while he looks straight at Bellamy.
“How many?” Clarke asks.
“24 and counting” Murphy responds even though the question wasn’t towards him.
Clarke then goes on a little speech explaining why we were sent to the ground and Bellamy just responds back with his own little speech in rebuttal to Clarke’s. Many of the kids in the crowds agreed with Bellamy. It makes sense since the people on the Ark basically abandoned us. The kids started cheering around us as Clarke and Monty started to walk away. You started to walk away as well until you felt a wave of weakness in my body and fell to the ground. The last thing you saw was Bellamy, Clarke and Octavia huddled over me saying your name as the cheers fell silent, and then all you saw was pitch black.
You woke up lying next to Octavia as Bellamy cleaned her leg up with some water, they were talking about what attacked her, “You could’ve been killed,” He says, finishing with her leg.
“Says the person who gave me a knife to fight Murphy,” You say sitting up and glaring at Bellamy.
“She would’ve been dead if Jasper didn’t jump in to pull her out,” Clarke says walking towards us with Wells.
“Thank god you’re ok. You guys leaving? I’m coming too,” Octavia says hugging you and taking notice of the bags on Wells and Clarke.
“Ditto” You say, wanting to leave the camp.
“No. no. no way. Not again” Bellamy says to Octavia.
“He’s right. You guys would just slow us down.” Clarke says coldly looking between Octavia and me.
“I’m fine. I need to get out of this camp, I promise I won’t slow you down,” You say sternly crossing your arms and glaring at Murphy.
“Fine, but you better keep up,” Clarke says, obviously annoyed. “I’m here for you. I hear you have a gun.” Clarke says looking back at Bellamy as he pulls up his shirt to display it. “Good. Follow me,” she says walking away.
“And why would I do that?” Bellamy questions.
“Because you want them to follow you, and right now, they’re only thinking one of us is scared,” Clarke says raising an eyebrow, clearly hinting at being scared to leave the camp and walks off.
“Murphy. Come with me.” You roll your eyes at the fact that Bellamy needs him. “Atom? My sister doesn’t leave the camp. Is that clear?” Bellamy says.
You grab your jacket as Bellamy explains to Atom about his circumstances for Octavia. “Let’s go,” Bellamy says looking at you before we head towards wherever Clarke and Wells went to.
“Since when are we in rescuing business, huh?” Murphy asks as we follow Clarke and Wells.
“The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princess is too. They’ll never come down. I’m getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it” Bellamy says menacingly.
“We don’t need to do that, leave it to me. I can get her wristband.” You say from behind them.
“Why do we need her Bellamy? It’s not like she’s got any real power” Murphy says in disbelief.
“She has some pull. Can I tell him or do you, “ Bellamy says.
“You really think that rumor of the reason I was thrown in the box really helps your little cause? ” You ask.
“I’m sure people are hesitant to get to know you because of it. So I’m sure people knowing, will get them to see you as someone who can lead them” Bellamy says.
“I’m curious now, please enlighten me” Murphy responds.
“If you really want to know. I --I killed three guards when I was like...12 years old. That’s why I was in there for so long. The rumor is true” You respond hesitantly since you don’t really like telling the full details.
“Alone?” Murphy says stopping in his tracks.
“Yep. They had already floated my dad for stealing meds. And they were going to arrest me for the same. I was pissed at the people on the Ark, so I lashed out leading me to kill three guards. I know I was a kid but I’m surprised they didn’t just float me then.” You say choking on some words while you walked past both Bellamy and Murphy.
“I can see why that might have some pull,” You hear Murphy say quietly behind me to Bellamy.
“Yeh” You hear Bellamy say with some sadness in his voice. I’m sure it’s because he understands what it feels like to lose parents, considering his own mom was floated for having his sister.
“Quick, question. Why do you think that I’ll help you gain any sort of control? Do you think people will listen to me out of fear?” You turn around facing both Murphy and Bellamy.
“It's the only…” Bellamy starts.
“It’s not. I’m not gonna use people’s fear of me from a ‘rumor’ just to get them behind your cause. I know that someone needs to take charge of this group, but I’ll let them decide if they will let me. I know they’re already behind you. So what is my part in this?” You ask not letting them continue to walk. Bellamy doesn’t give you a response, so you just walk away, trying to catch up to Clarke and Wells.
“Hey, hold up. What’s the rush? You don’t survive a spear through the heart.” Bellamy says catching up to you guys with his gun in hand.
“Put the gun away, Bellamy,” Wells says getting close to Bellamy, but Murphy pushes him away, “Well, why don’t you do something about it, huh?”
“Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he’d have died instantly. It doesn’t mean we have time to waste,” Clarke confirms Jasper is alive.
“As soon as you take this wristband off. We can go,” Bellamy grabs Clarke’s right wrist.
“Bellamy, stop,” You say.
“The only way the Ark is gonna think I’m dead is if I’m dead. Got it?” Clarke pulls her wrist away and gets closer to Bellamy trying to intimidate him, you guess.
“Brave Princess,” Is all Bellamy says in response and you just shake your head annoyed. As much as you want the Ark to think we’re not surviving, you’d rather not force people to take their wristbands off.
“Hey, why don’t you find your own nickname?” Finn says walking up behind us. “You call this a rescue party? Got to split up, cover more ground. Clarke, Y/N, come with me.” He says before walking off with Clarke. You just glare at Bellamy before following them.
“So Y/N, not to intrude or anything, but I’ve been wondering. Is that rumor about you killing three guards true or all fake?” Finn asks you as you guys walk through the woods.
“Does it matter?” You respond.
“Well, I’d just like to know. I mean everyone knows that you were in lockup since you were 12, but it’s hard to believe that someone at that age was able to do that.  So just being curious.” He responds.
“If you’d really like to know. Yes,  I was pissed at the Council. They betrayed my parents who were close to them. Your mom Clarke, betrayed my parents. I just broke.” You explain.
“I can’t speak for my mom, but I understand. My mom did the same thing to my father, she disagreed with my father about going public about the fact that the Ark was dying,” She explains.
We continue through the forest on the path that they went on before, “I’ve been thinking about Mount Weather. How come they didn’t attack until Jasper crossed the river? It’s not like we were being quiet and they didn’t know we were there.” Finn questions.
“They waited for us to cross. The rivers a boundary.” Clarke realizes why.
“Which means Mount Weather is off-limits, huh. How are we gonna get supplies?” You ask. Finn runs off a few feet ahead of you guys, you and Clarke just look at each other before following.
You find Finn staring at a waterfall, “Well, at least we don’t have to worry about water,” Clarke points out. You all walk into the pool of water, you stand off to the side as Finn bathes himself in it and Clarke collects some to drink. Finn then splashes both you and Clarke, who doesn’t seem happy about it.
“Come on, Finn. We don’t have time for this,” Clarke says annoyed.
“Clarke, we can take a small break. We’ve been walking for hours.” You respond, walking further into the water.
“I’ll take a break when we find Jasper, come on,” She says sternly. Finn starts to walk closer to her, splashing and pulls her into the deeper water. She gets even more pissed as Finn and you laugh.
She calms down as she realizes how nice the water feels, “Okay. Maybe just a minute.” Finn and Clarke talk for a little while you swim around a bit. Clarke starts to make her way over to the other side of the pool of water, Finn and you follow her.
Once you guys make your way over, you notice the massive blood spots of the rocks. You look around a bit more and notice something near the tree at the bottom of the rocks. You bend down and pull out Jasper’s goggles. “Jasper. He was here,” Clarke says looking at the goggles in your hands.
“We should get the others,” Clarke says. Finn bends down and rubs his finger over some blood, which covers his fingers, “We’re close.”
We get Clarke’s backpack and make our way back to Bellamy, Wells, and Murphy. Once we meet up we continue to follow Jasper’s blood trail, “Hey, how do we know this is the right way?” Murphy asks from beside Bellamy.
“We don’t. Spacewalker thinks he’s a tracker.” Bellamy responds.
“It’s called ‘cutting sign’ Fourth-year Earth Skills. He’s good.” Wells explains.
“You want to keep it down or should I paint a target on your backs?” Finn threatens. He walks up to a plant and notices that it has broken and leans down to the ground and finds more blood on the rocks.
“See? You’re invisible.” Bellamy leans over to Wells. You just look at him confused but decide not to start anything. You then hear a moan of pain off in the distance, “What the hell was that?” Murphy questions.
“Now would be a good time to take out that gun,” You say looking over at Bellamy. You guys make your way over to where the moans are coming from. You find Jasper hung up on a tree, bloody. Clarke rushes over towards Jasper until something breaks below her and she falls into a pit, but Bellamy grabs her arm.
Bellamy lets her hang there as you guys all scream to tell him to pull her up. You know that Bellamy is contemplating just letting her fall to her death. You and everyone else then rushed over to help Bellamy pull Clarke up. You wrap your hand around his, which is holding Clarke’s, and pull. You just look over at him and shake your head in disapproval.
“We need to get him down,” Clarke breaths heavily.
“I’ll climb up there and cut the vines,” Finn says walking off.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m with you,” Wells says following before Finn tells him to stay with Clarke, tells him to watch Bellamy, and tells Murphy to help him.
“There’s a poultice on his wound.” Clarke points out the green stuff on Jasper’s chest.
“Medicine? Why help him when he’s just gonna be strung up like that?” You question.
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch likes its dinner to be breathing.” Bellamy states.
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch is us.” Finn points out.
“Why would they want to catch us? I mean we probably wouldn’t be of any use to them.” You say. Finn and Murphy climb the tree and begin to cut the vines. You guys hear some growling and see a jaguar running towards Clarke, “Bellamy, gun!” She says.
You see Bellamy trying to find the gun but there’s nothing in his pants, you hear gunshots fired and notice that its Wells firing. He lands one shot on the jaguar, but it doesn’t stop it. You hear its growl as it makes its way through the plants. You and Bellamy turn around each other trying to find it. It becomes silent until it jumps at you. Wells shoots it as it leaps towards you and it falls to the ground. You stumble back into Bellamy’s arms.
Wells drops the gun, “Now she sees you,” Bellamy says, helping you out of his arms.
After you take a moment to process what had just happened you notice a scratch from the jaguar on your upper arm, “Hey are you okay?” Bellamy takes your arm into his hand to look at the scratch.
“I’m fine” You pull it away and go to help get Jasper down from the tree.
Bellamy and Murphy wrap the jaguar in a tarp and carry it as Finn and Wells take Jasper. You guys start to make your way back to the camp, “Hey, you should get that cleaned when we get back, I can help you” Clarke says walking next to you.
“Let’s take care of Jasper first. He needs it more than me,” You say looking back at Finn and Wells carrying him.
It takes until night fall to get back to the camp. Once you make it, you follow Clarke into the Dropship. You hear whoops and cheers as Bellamy takes the credit for bringing the food back when you know Wells is the one that killed the jaguar. Finn and Clarke take care of Jasper as you tend to your own wound. Once you’re done, you walk out of the Dropship and see that the kids are taking their wristbands off for food.
You walk up to Bellamy and he hands you a stick with the meat on it, “Good game plan, worth it,” You say taking a bite of the meat.
You notice Finn walk over and grab two sticks of meat, “Whoa, Woah. Wait, wait, wait. What you think you play by different rules?” Murphy questions him.
“I thought there were no rules,” Finn responds with a blank face and walks away. A kid that hasn’t taken his wristband off then walks up to grab a piece of meat. Bellamy punches the kid in the face, sending him to the ground and walks away.
After a while, you find yourself sitting alone against a tree, wanting to get away from the craziness in camp. “You know, you shouldn’t be out here alone,” Bellamy says sitting down next to you.
“Yeh, says who,” You chuckle. “I just needed to get away. You know, I thought that after being in solitary for so long, I would want to be around people. But all I want now is alone time, you can’t really get that here,”
“Well, I’ll leave you to it, then. Don’t want to disturb your alone time. Be safe,” He says and starts to get up.
“No, your company is nice. Stay for a bit, enjoy the peace,” You say grabbing his sleeve, he sits back down next to you.
“How’s your arm? And your stomach?” He asks breaking the silence.
“They’re fine. My stomach hurts more than my arm. But I’ll live,” You respond. “If we really want to stop the Ark from coming down, we’ve gotta come up with a better plan.” You point out.
“Yeh, well enlighten me,”
“I’m not sure yet, but we’ll figure it out. We can’t survive if we’re all at each other’s throats,” You say resting your head on Bellamy’s shoulder.
Life by Fire Light
Summary: Bellarke. Just some plot-less fluff. Set in an unnamed time in the future after they landed back on Earth after Bellamy, Clarke and the gang are reunited. They are happy and finally at peace. They join their friends at the fire, but things feel different.
Warnings: Very light smut, not completely safe for work, no beta (first time I’m posting a fanfic in a long time so sorry if I’m rusty and have no beta- taking volunteers XD)
The laughter was a new sound. Clarke reveled in it. In the last few months, it had been bubbling up slowly in their group of survivors. Like they were all scared to let the world hear the sound, in case it snatched it from them as soon as it escaped their lips. But, tonight, tonight it was in full force as if everyone in their camp had finally accepted that it was here to stay. Her friends smiled freely by the light of the campfire. Jordan had done an excellent job of continuing to perfect Monty’s Moonshine and Clarke knew that helped, as well.
Even she could feel her own guard drop a bit as she shared stories with her friends. Listening to Octavia reminisce on the story of Jasper and Monty’s experience on hallucinogenic berries. Clarke knew this one, but it felt good to relive it here with the people she loved. To remember the ones they all had loved in previous lives. These stories always had a hint of sadness, like the sting of the moonshine that cut her tongue under the sweetness of the cider. But mostly there was the warmth and love of the story (or the alcohol) as it ran through her veins, remembering the good times rather than the bad. She knew here, they all had that same feeling. This was a place that they were safe and they understood each other in a way no one else could. They had lived it together, been to hell and back and they were still standing. Together.
The group howled as Octavia recounted trying to wrangle Monty as the story continued into their escapade. Jordan, especially, seemed to enjoy this, but no one was immune to the laughter. Even Echo, who had been in an especially bad mood lately, was chuckling along to the story. It was still strange to Clarke that the other girl had a whole life with her friends that Clarke was not a part of, but Clarke was able to push aside the jealousy more easily now. Her friends loved her, and so did Clarke. She had protected them, her family, and she would forever be grateful.
And Echo made Bellamy happy. That alone would be enough to make Clarke love her, even if the jealousy got unnervingly dark under those thoughts. That jealousy was a feeling that took her a long time to understand, but she accepted it for what it was now and chose to be happy for the man who would forever be her partner and best friend. There was no room for jealousy in this new world of happiness.
Clarke first watched Echo, then flicked her eyes to Bellamy, who, uncharacteristically, sat on the opposite side of the fire from both her and Echo. They could usually find him by one of their sides. But tonight, he sat speaking in hushed tones with Miller. Occasionally, both men would take a turn to glance at Echo. Clarke knew Echo well enough to know that she was aware of this, but seemed to be ignoring them.
Clarke thought this was strange. But, Echo and Bellamy had been strange the past few days, in general. They didn’t appear to be speaking, at least not more than a polite exchange at meal time or to discuss work.
Clarke figured they were fighting, but she also wouldn’t push it. She knew Bellamy would talk to her about it in his own time, when he was ready. Echo was the one thing he didn’t share openly with her. An unspoken rule between them, knowing that his relationship with Echo was the one place she could not go with him, could not be his rock in. She couldn’t handle that. And he knew, without her telling him, he knew. Like he always did.
Clarke found herself watching Bellamy. Watching the way the firelight flickered off the auburn skin of his biceps. She felt her thighs clench imperceptibly and shifted, trying to dispel the feeling.
Her gaze traveled up his arm to where his shoulder connected to his neck. When she was weak and gave into the thoughts of him that constantly tried to bombard her mind, she had imagined sinking her teeth into that spot right there.
 Now that there was peace, it was harder and harder for her not to notice the way his body moved. Especially when he insisted on working shirtless all the damn time.
She finally looked up to his face. His full lips were closed, but held an amused smile. His cheekbones cut deeper in the flickering evening light, warm and soft, with just a dusting of freckles visible in the dark. When she reached his eyes, a dark curl had fallen into them and he was watching her too. She glanced away, embarrassed at being caught. Especially at the look in his eyes, it had been knowing, amused and unexpectedly dark, with an emotion she couldn’t quite place.
She focused on the story being told now, Raven was recounting something that Clarke couldn’t quite catch over the beat of her racing heart. She tried so hard to focus. So hard she almost jumped when Bellamy’s voice whispered in her ear.
“Hey,” he said gently. He was not trying to surprise her, she knew, but it still shocked her all the same. He sat in the empty space on the log next to her. She was glad he could not see the blush that spread across her cheeks.
“Hey,” she said breathlessly back, trying to bluff through her embarrassment at being caught ogling him only moments before. Any other man and she would have kept staring unabashedly, but this was different. He wasn’t any other man. He was Bellamy. He was her person. She could never do anything to risk that. So, she was embarrassed for her breach in their safe relationship.
“This is nice,” he murmured to her. There was a husk to his voice that Clarke couldn’t quite place. It was familiar to her, but also so different. This didn’t feel like her cool, collected partner.
She frowned in spite of herself and watched him from the corner of her eye. He was studying her with the same unknown emotion on his face. She didn’t like it. There was nothing they hid from each other. She knew him better than she knew herself. She didn’t like that she couldn’t get a read on him. It wasn’t their normal. “Yeah, it really is,” she murmured in spite of the weird feeling that fanned over her skin by the unfamiliar way he looked at her, “I could get used to the sound of their laughter.”
His face softened. This was the Bellamy she knew and she felt herself relax and lean into him a bit, wanting to be closer to that familiarity, “Me too. Sometimes, I thought we would never get here,” his voice was low, so quiet that no one else could hear them. But, she knew that was the point, those thoughts, those feelings, were only for her. Because she understood.
Without thinking, she reached out to touch him, resting her fingertips softly on top of his, barely any contact at all, “But we did,” she smiled softly at him and leaned her head conspiratorially towards him.
As if it was the most natural thing in the world, he leaned towards her too, their foreheads almost touching, “Yes, we did. We did, Clarke,” his voice almost a whisper, his warm breath fanning against her face. She could smell the slight tang of moonshine on it.
There was something in his look again. Clarke understood it more this time, being in such close proximity. His pupils wide, searching her, and full of an emotion that Clarke could tangibly feel in every part of her body. Because she felt it to.
Desire. He wanted her.
She felt herself peel back from him. This was not safe territory. Especially not here. Not around all their friends.
She glanced around to see if anyone had noticed what had just happened between them. Nothing at all and yet so much.
Raven watched them with a smug, knowing expression on her face. Clarke could see it plainly because Clarke knew her friend wanted this. “Yeah, yeah, you’re just co-leaders, ok,” Raven had said with dripping sarcasm, just a few days ago when she had caught Clarke watching Bellamy hungrily as he had been working on the expansion of one of the green houses. Clarke squirmed in her seat thinking of the way the sweat had made his back muscles gleam in the sunlight, rippling under his skin with raw power that Clarke knew would be evident in every activity he pursued. She wanted to dig her nails into his skin there, hear him breathe her name at the pleasurable pain when she did.
Clarke blinked herself back into reality and frowned at Raven who still had the smug look on her face. She shrugged and turned her attention back to Miller who was regaling them with some story from the days on the Arch.
“Hey,” Bellamy said softly, his long fingers encircling her small wrist, “Take a walk with me,” he whispered as his thumb rubbed circles where her palm met her wrist, sending shock waves of awareness up her arm.
She nodded and got up, he never released her wrist as he pulled her away from the fire. This wasn’t that strange. While her and Bellamy weren’t very physically affectionate, it wasn’t uncommon for them to touch occasionally in a friendly manner. But, this felt different to her. And she didn’t like the knowing glance Raven and Miller exchanged as they walked away from the fire.
They walked in companionable silence as they moved out of sight of the fire. She tried to pull her hand away as the sounds of their friends by the fire died down to back ground noise and the lapping water of the lake became their focus. But he didn’t let go. They headed wordlessly towards a large tree, to a better view of the galaxy stars overhead and the bio-luminescence in the water as it splashed on the shore.
“You’re being weird tonight,” she cut straight to it, always right to business.
“Am I?” his lips quirked in her direction.
Her eyes narrowed, “Are you drunk?”
He let out a loud bark of a laugh Clarke didn’t expect, “I might have had a few, but no, I’m not drunk, Princess.”
She pulled him to a stop, “Then why are you being weird?” she snapped.
“Why are you?” he popped back, but there was teasing in his tone.
She pulled her hand from his and took a step away from him, unexpectedly angry at this difference in her partner, “I’m not.”
He filled the gap between them again, crowding her towards the base of the tree, “What was that at the fire then?”
“We were talking, you were being weird!” her voice was louder than expected.
He put a hand on her hip, turning her towards him, his touch burning her skin where his fingertips licked the bare flesh just under the hem of her shirt. His pupils were huge and dark, “You know that’s not what I’m talking about, Princess.”
She glared at him defiantly, but his thumb was pressing a circle into her hip like it had on her wrist minutes before. Like he did it without even thinking. Her breath was getting short and she was angry at her traitorous body. But, fuck, she didn’t want him to stop. “I’m sorry, I just…,”she wasn’t sure how to finish that. She clenched her jaw against the feeling building between her legs as he increased the pressure on her hip. Her entire awareness was on the feeling of his thumb on her skin.
When she glanced back up at him, his face had softened again. “Please don’t apologize, I just didn’t know…” his eyes darkened as he trailed off, seeming unable to finish either, “Clarke, I want…” he took a shaky breath. He pulled her a bit closer, as if instinctively. She hadn’t noticed how close he was until she felt his breath on her lips. She hadn’t noticed that her eyes never left his face, watching the unnamed want play out across his tanned features. She hadn’t noticed her hands clutching his hips like they were her only lifeline. She loved the feeling of the sinewy muscles that banded over his obliques and tensed under her touch as she squeezed ever so slightly.
Gently, he raised his hand. He brushed a hair from her face, his fingertips just brushing against her cheek. He tucked the strand behind her ear as his fingers buried themselves in her hair. He pressed his forehead to hers.
Another shaky breathe.
“Bellamy,” Clarke whispered, but she didn’t finish as he lowered his mouth to hers. Then, she was lost in the feel of him. His lips playing gently against hers. It felt so natural, as if they had done it a million times. Their pace increased in desperation. Bellamy’s teeth lightly bit her lower lip. Clarke sighed and he used the opportunity to flick a tongue into her parted lips. He let out a low groan at the taste of her and pulled her tighter against him, their bodies now pressed together from knee to chest. She could feel him growing hard against her stomach and she knew she was lost. She wanted to feel him. She needed to feel him.
She twisted her fingers into his hair, gently tugging. He pressed her firmly against the tree. His hands explored her body. He grabbed the ample skin of her ass, squeezing as he kissed her hard, frantically. She matched his need and slipped her hands under his shirt. Feeling the hard muscles of his abs. She had imagined how they would feel like this, but they felt better. Warm. Soft and hard at the same time. Her fingertips brushed the waist of his pants.
He sucked in a breath, “You’re killing me princess,” he growled in her ear then kissed down her neck, occasionally nipping at the skin there. It sent rippled through Clarke’s entire body, straight to her core. She could feel herself getting wet at the feel of him, his lips on her neck, his hands kneading the bare skin of her back, his growing bulge pressing urgently against her.
“Fuck,” she whispered as he bit down harder at the juncture of her shoulder and neck.
He smiled mischeviously, “You like that?”
She swatted him playfully, “Don’t stop Bellamy”
He growled and kissed her hard, “I like the sound of my name on your lips.”
She kissed just underneath his jaw, “Bellamy,” she bit him lightly. He sucked in a breath.
“Bellamy!” a friend called out playfully in the distance, too far to be heard clearly. It was enough to break Clarke from her haze. She pulled abruptly away. Feeling the loss of his warmth immediately.
“We can’t do this,” she ran a shaky hand through her hair. Her body was thrumming with desire. Especially when he looked at her with such raw hunger.
He cocked an eyebrow, “We can do whatever the hell we want,” he smirked at the old phrase.
She glared at him, true anger bubbling up. “No, we can’t do this to Echo.”
It was like she threw a bucket of cold water on him, he pulled back, but just slightly. “Clarke, we are done. Echo and I. We are done.”
“What?” she blinked.
“I thought you knew…” he looked away, out at the lake, “I wanted to come running to you immediately after, but… that felt wrong… I knew you wouldn’t want that. I wanted to wait… until I was sure…” he trailed off again. They weren’t good at this, talking about their emotions.
She took a tentative step towards him, “What happened? Are you OK?”
His expression was gentle, he reached up to her face again. “I’m OK. What I had with her… It was what I needed to survive up there. But, that isn’t all love should be- survival. It should be a partnership, thriving, building a life together, finding happiness and strength together. Not just clinging desperately to a rock in the middle of an ocean. But creating life in the middle of a wasteland, against all odds. I know that now. Her and I needed each other to survive on the rock, but I want… this,” he looked around, “Paradise in the wasteland, laughter…” He paused and brushed a finger over her lips, his hand never leaving her face, “You, Clarke. I want you. We built this together. You are the one I have always needed when things are at the worst, even up there when I was without you. But, more than that, you are the one I wanted. Wanted to build this with. I wouldn’t have been able to build this life without you. This is more than survival.”
She couldn’t respond, she just felt his thumb gently press against her lips and watched the unfamiliar emotions flit across his face. But, this time, it didn’t scare her. This time, it felt right. This is what they both had been searching for all these years. This is living.
“This is when you gotta say something, Princess,” he said softly, but didn’t let her speak. “I am sorry, I am so sorry I moved on. I know we weren’t technically… before, but…. We were something… I am sorry I didn’t wait.”
“No,” she said quickly, “You didn’t know. I wanted you to be happy. It hurt, but it was what I wanted. I was happy that you found a scrap of life up there,” she cradled his head in her hands, “I was so glad, Bell… You didn’t know.”
“I would have waited, if I had known,” he said quietly, they were pressed together again, their foreheads touching, “Damn it, I would have waited with you through every single one of those 2000 days if I had known, Clarke. I would have waited for you. I need you to know that.”
“2,199 actually,” she teased and he released a breathy chuckle before she sobered again, “I know, Bell, I know. I think I always knew.”
He kissed her again. But this time, it was more. There was years of ache and hardship and want and love and understanding. There was no one in the world who understood them like the other. This was what they needed. But, like Bellamy had said, this is what they wanted. Finally.
“I love you,” they whispered into each other’s skin as the night faded into dawn. This would be the first of many as they continued to build their life, together.
One Last Time Pt. 1
Request:  My first idea is that the reader and Scott are having a break because she tried to help Monty in S3 but Scott exposed him to the others in s2 e12? She needs time and while the team and some girls go out Charlie from s3 kisses her and then there’s some trouble in s3 but with a happy ending?
@find-another-place - Version 1
A/N: This is not the actual request but It is just an  Idea. Reader is bold
Word count: 1506
Part 1/5
Warning: angst, cursing, cheating? Season 3 spoilers
Monty x reader, Scott x reader, Winston x reader
13 missed calls, 20 messages and 4 voice mails all from Scott Reed. Last night was a mess. But you can’t tell Scotty. Monty stirs awake next to you. You put your phone away and walk over to him. “Hey” you say. Monty rubs his eyes and sits up in your bed. “Hi” he says to you. “How are you feeling?”. Monty looks at you says, “Not that good, My head hurts.” You stand up and grab some medicine for him. Monty calls you from your Room, so you grab the pills and the glass of water and go back quickly to him. “Scott was calling you. I think his worried.” You look at Monty and give hand him the glass and the pills. “I know. He is probably pissed. But right now, you are my priority Monty.” He gives you sad smile and takes the pills and drinks the water.
Monty was fucked up and you knew it. But you couldn’t help but try to protect him he was your best friend after all and always stood up for you. Even if you don’t agree that what Monty did to Tyler is correct you even hate the fact that he has done something so wrong, but you couldn’t help but try to support him and take care of him. And because of the guilt you felt for helping Monty you made Tyler get psychological help and you are paying for it. If Scott finds out about you protecting Monty, he would immediately break up with you and that is why you have been avoiding him ever since yesterday.
Monty fell asleep again. You closed the door and went downstairs when the doorbell rang. You aren’t expecting anyone. So, you go to the door and open it to find none other than your boyfriend Scott reed he walks past you and turns towards you as you close the door. “We need to talk. Where have you been? And why haven’t you been answering your phone?” He was marching towards the stairs to talk in your bedroom when you ran to catch up with him and said, “You can’t go upstairs.” He still goes up and finds a shirtless Monty lying your bed. He slams the door back shut and says, “You’ve got to be kidding me” “Scott it’s not what it looks like.” “Well what does it look like Y/N.” “I-I” “Save it Y/N we are over.” “Scott no wait” but he was already out of the door. You started to cry and slid against the door. You don’t know how long it has been, but you stood up and prepared some food for Monty and went upstairs.
“Monty, you need to eat something.” Monty sat up and started eating the sandwich you have prepared for him. “Charlie will bring some stuff by for you. Don’t argue with me you are staying here.” “I don’t want to get between you and Scott Y/N/N” “You heard that?” “Yes” “Look Monty you have been my best friend before Scott became my boyfriend and if he can’t respect me caring, loving and protecting my best friend than he should just leave me. It is not your fault Monty. You understand me?” He nods and looks at his hands. “I just feel bad for coming in between” You sat down beside him and took him in your arms. His head was resting against your chest. “You will always be the person I choose first.” “I love you Monty and I am always here for you.” “I love you too Y/N/N.” You sat in a comfortable silence until the doorbell rang. “This must be Charlie. I’ll open the door and come back to you. You should rest a bit more Monty.”
You got out of bed and went downstairs. It was indeed Charlie, so you let him in. “Do you want to drink something?” “Yes, Water please.” Charlie followed you to the kitchen and watched you prepare his cup of water. “I heard what happened between you and Scott.” “News travel so fast in this town” “I am sorry about what happened.” “Don’t be my priority is Monty’s safety and if he can’t respect that nor even give me the chance to explain to him why Monty is laying in my bed upstairs. Than he should fuck off.” “I completely understand you. How is by the way?” “I am not sure. But I’ll keep you updated. Thank you for coming by.” “You’re welcome and bye.”
You went back upstairs and saw Monty staring at the ceiling. “A penny for your thoughts?” “I don’t know what is wrong Y/N I enjoyed Winston’s company, but I am afraid he won’t want to talk to me anymore and the whole Tyler thing is getting to my head and Me being the reason for Scott leaving you. I just hate myself and if I am gay, my dad will kill me.” “If you want, I can talk with Winston for you and we will keep it a secret and I promise you your dad won’t find out.”  “That would be great.”
Later that night you called Winston and agreed that he would come tomorrow by to talk to Monty.
The next Day Winston and Monty were talking in your room upstairs when the doorbell rang, and you went to open in front of you was none other than Scott Reed and Justin Foley. “We know about what Monty did to Tyler. You need to stop protecting him Y/N.” Thing is all Monty told you about the Tyler incident is that he punched him and smashed his head against the sink, you didn’t know that Monty raped Tyler. “He fucking raped him Y/N” “I don’t believe you. Monty would never do that. Monty did many fucked up things with Bryce, but he would never rape someone.” “Talk to Tyler and he’ll tell you.” “No, I don’t believe your group anymore you all were the reason why my best friend Hannah died you hurt her so bad that she committed suicide and even Clay hurt her by never telling her about his feeling so stop all playing innocent and stop blaming people for shit. You are all the reason why Bryce is dead he has done some massive shit, but he should have been punished by the police and not killed by a bunch of teenagers. It wouldn’t wonder me if you helped killing him Scott. Now leave.” Justin was looking past you and you knew he was staring at Monty. “Fucking Bastard why don’t you tell her the truth. huh.” You screamed at both to leave which they did.
One-week later Monty was arrested, and you didn’t know why you ran as fast as possible with Winston to the police Station trying to figure out why Monty was arrested. Mr. De la Cruz was just leaving when you got there, and you knew something happened immediately. You let Winston see him first and then you.
“What the hell is happening Mont.” You cried “Everything will be alright Y/N. I need you to stay by Winston’s side and take care of him for me okay love? Promise me please Y/N/N.” “I promise you I will” you said while tears where streaming down your face. “And promise me to stay strong and take care of yourself. I love you Y/N” “I love you too Montgomery De la Cruz”.
You went outside to Winston and he hugged you while you cried in his chest and when you looked up you saw Scott, Clay, Justin, Jessica, Zach and Tyler walking bye. You locked eyes with Scott, and he looked away seeing you in all this pain and knowing that both of you had no clue what happened between Tyler and Monty. Winston took you out of the Police station. “I’ll call a Lawyer for Monty and let’s hope for the best. We are in this together.”
One week later you get a phone call from Winston telling you Monty died and they are blaming him for murdering Bryce, which both of you knew wasn’t the truth because on that night Monty was staying the night at your place with Winston while you were visiting your Grandmother in the hospital. You couldn’t believe what Winston just told you. “We need to prove that he is innocent:” he told you. You just couldn’t stop crying and said, “Could you come over?” “I am on my way Y/N.”
The 100?
Thank you Nonnie!!! :)
Top 5 favourite characters:
Echo / Emori / Raven / Murphy / Octavia
Other characters you like:
A lot, actually! Off the top of my head, Lexa, Clarke (although not in the way most people like her, I enjoy her as an anti-hero lmao), Bellamy, Monty, Jasper, Lincoln, Indra!
Least favourite characters:
Aside from the obvious villains obviously, I’m gonna say Kane and Abby. I never really cared for their stories, I’ve hated Abby since season 1 and Kane since s5 there’s just something about them being absolutely awful leaders and blaming kids for their failures that I can’t get behind.
Otps:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basically lmao.
No but seriously, I think their love story is just great on so many levels, they’re the only love story I really care about in the show.
Other couples I really like are: Bellamy and Echo, Octavia and Lincoln, Octavia and Niylah, Octavia and Diyoza, Murphy and Emori and Raven, Echo and Raven, Jasper and Maya, Monty and Harper
Notps:
..... Bellarke lmao.
I enjoy the dynamic between Bellamy and Clarke, but I never saw it as romantic, and that’s how I enjoyed it. I love their ennemies to reluctant allies dynamic, I love the fact that their relationship is dysfunctional I love the parallels between Clarke and Octavia. But I don’t enjoy it at all as a romantic dynamic.
Favourite friendships:
Monty and Jasper, Octavia and Jasper, Raven and Murphy
Favourite family:
This is almost only found family because this show has a ton of found family dnamics that I love!! The Blake siblings, Spacekru, Octavia Diyoza and Hope, Raven and Finn.
Favourite episodes:
Murphy’s Law, Blood Must have Blood part 1 and part 2, Thirteen, The Chosen, Pramfayia, Red Queen, The Garden
Favourite season/book/movie:
Season 2. It has my favorite version of Lexa, it has Bellamy and Echo meeting, it has the most interesting antagonists (in my opinion haha). Season 4 is a close second though!
Favourite quotes:
“You believe that to defeat an ennemy who will stop at nothing, you must stop at nothing. How is that any different than Blood must have Blood?” - Luna in s3, because I think this quote shows very well the central conflict of the show, one that was established by Finn in s1: We have to try not to repeat history, and yet everytime, they do repeat it. I disagree with Luna in that instance because the threat that was ALI wasn’t like any other, but I agree with her sentiment.
“In peace, may you leave this shore. In love, may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels. Until our final journey to the Ground. May we meet again.” LISTEN. If there’s is one thing of the world building I absolutely adore, it’s the Traveler’s Blessing. It’s a beautiful prayer, and it gives me all the right emotions when I think about it. I was disappointed with what the show was making of it in seasons 2 and 3, with characters saying it all around, but then there are two instances that really get to me: Octavia and Bellamy saying it over the dead radio at the end of s4, and Monty / Bellamy and Clarke saying it at the end of season 5.
Best musical moment:
I loved the way the music carried the scene right after Lexa’s death, how it melts from Lexa’s death and Titus saying his ritual words, to Becca reaching earth, back to Lexa and the Flame coming out of her.
Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest:
Oh boy there are a LOT Off the top of my head: when Monty refuses to leave Jasper alone when he gives his blood to Maya, when Murphy says “Touch me again and I’ll end you... in a non-criminal way”, when Becho was confirmed in s5, When Clarke managed to align the satellite dish in Pramfyia, when Octavia confronted Skaikru in The Chosen,.... I can’t think of others right now but there are a lot lmao You can check out my favorite scenes series if you want, I’m working on it slowly!
When it really disappointed you:
A lot of times, honestly... I’m gonna say, all of season 6. I hated it. It had so much potential, with characters having to deal with the aftermath of season 5, Monty and Harper dying, Jordan existing, Wonkru.... Instead we got a whole mess that didn’t do much for any character and I was really disappointed.
Saddest moment:
Lincoln’s death. I knew it was coming because I knew the actor was leaving the show, but I was so NOT READY for it omg it’s the scene I still cry everytime I watch it because it’s so sad and heartwrenching....
Most well done character death:
Okay so I think The 100 is really bad at having well done character deaths, so I’m gonna say my less well-done one lmaoooo
Lexa’s. Her death was so stupid. I wasn’t in the fandom at the time so I wasn’t aware of the awful queerbaiting that was going on, so without talking about BTS and marketing ploys, I do believe that her death was heavily predicted by the show. However, it was a stupid death and Lexa was too awesome a character to die by a stray bullet. She deserved a proper send-off, she deserved to die in an epic battle, or fighting for what she believed in,..... not a bullet.
Favourite guest star:
I know Shawn Mendes (Mendez? I don’t know lmao i don’t know him) was a guest star but I don’t know any other guest star so I guess that’s my answer lmao
Favourite cast member:
I don’t follow the cast, so I don’t have a favorite xD
Character you wish was still alive:
Jasper and Finn both deserve to still be alive, because the show treated their mental struggles like shit and I’m very bitter about that!
One thing you hope really happens:
Honestly, I don’t know? We have four episodes left of the entire show and I have no idea where it’s headed lmao I guess I hope both Emori and Murphy survive to see the end and have a long and happy life <3
Most shocking twist:
Okay I actually have three so I’ll you my top three:
1- The revelation of the Mountain Men. I was absolutely NOT expecting this to happen and I was gasping and going “nooooooooo way!!!” at my computer because it was so out of nowhere!! I loved it lmao
2- Murphy discovers that ALI destroyed the world: the ending of s2. That scene is so chilling, Murphy watching the video of Chris crying and killing himself, cut with scenes of Jaha getting to the mansion and the wholse scene with ALI herself... that whole scene was really cool and unexpected!
3- Clarke and Jaha steal the bunker during the conclave. I was so SHOOK by this moment, it was such a bold move and I loved it!
When did you start watching/reading?:
Early January, 2015. I was back at my appartment waiting for the semester to start, my roommates weren’t back from the holidays yet, and I was bored. So I started the show, and I binged all of season 1 and half of season 2 in 24 hours xD I caught up at Spacewalker, and then had to wait two weeks for the next episode to air and it was agony!!!!
Best animal/creature:
HELIOS THE BEST HORSE THERE IS
Favourite location:
The Second Dawn Bunker. Yeah I know it’s strange coming from me because I absolutely hate so many things about the bunker xD But it was such a cool location!! With the rotunda/arena, the farm, the huge corridors,.....
Trope you wish they would stop using:
“It’s the end of the world, whatever shall we do???” I’m just tired you guys. Nuclear apocalypses and other bombings should not be that common lmao
One thing this show/book/film does better than others:
I love the fact that it has so many different and well developped female characters.It shouldn’t be rare, but it still is, and this show really stands out to me for that reason. I’m not saying it’s the peak of feminism or anything because lmao IT’S NOT. But the women of the show have agency, freedom, they’re all distinct from one another and not just tropes and cliches. I really like it.
Funniest moments:
Nothing comes to mind right now? I feel like an idiot lmao I have so many moments that make me laugh and I can’t think of a single one right now x)
Couple you would like to see:
I would love to have canon Murphy x Emori x Raven!!
Actor/Actress you want to join the cast:
Nobody haha sorry
Favourite outfit:
Blodreina’s cape thingy!
Tumblr media
Favourite item:
Raven’s necklace!!! I’m actually hoping to make myself one someday, it’s my favorite thing ^^
Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?:
Nothing!
What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?:
I wish I could be spacekru haha they’re the best found family of the whole show and we deserved a flashback episode for them <3
Most boring plotline:
the entirety of season 6 xDDDDD
No but seriously, I’m gona say Illian’s plot. Honestly I never got into it at all, I didn’t care enough about him, or his family.
Most laughably bad moment:
I mean, the pilot is pretty cringe-worthy xD
Best flashback/flashfoward if any:
the flashbacks of the Dark Year.
Most layered character:
Octavia
Most one dimensional character:
Jordan lmao I was so disappointed with his story in s6.....
Scariest moment:
OMG in season 2 when Bellamy, Octavia and the guards go into the old parking garage and CAROL OF THE BELLS START PLAYING THAT WAS SO FUCKING CREEPY
Grossest moment:
Ewwww the whole worm thing happening in s5, AND the weird trees growing inside people in s6 xD
Best looking male:
S5 Murphy, hands down. Also s7 Murphy cause he spends half his time shirtless lmao
Best looking female:
Emori! She’s so pretty.
Who you’re crushing on (if any):
I mean everybody is gorgeous but I don’t have a particular fixation haha
Favourite cast moment:
I don’t watch interviews or BTS stuff so I don’t know much, but Richard Harmon wearing hie sister’s costume and wig was really funny ^^
Favourite transportation:
Becca’s rocket
Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise):
It’s very obvious symbolism, but I love the last shot of Blood must have blood part 1, with Clarke standing alone in front of the door of Mount Weather.
Also, Octavia forcing the clans into submission in Red Queen, the mini conclave in fron of the doors of the vafeteria. The shots in that scene were really good!
Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you:
Lmaooooooo do you have ten hours? Because that’s how long I can ramblr about the inconsistencies and plotholtes of this show x) Off the top of my head:
- Why does everybody on the Ark speak Enlighs?
- If Becca knew Nightblood could let you live on Earth then why didn’t she distribute it among the space stations?
- Why did Cadogan build the bunker in the middle of the city when he had a prefectly good FOREST??
- If Lexa is the first Commander to unite the clans then what was the role of the Commander before her?
- Why didn’t the Ark send one adult with the 100 (Pyke) to protect and help them?
- How come the Eligius IV prisoners don’t die when they come back to Earth in s5 since they have no nightblood and didn’t adapt through evolution?
- How is it that Spacekru survived with algea alone but Wonkru had to have this huge variety of plants?? WHAT’S THE MAGIC ALGEA MONTY???
- Why did Mount Weather crash the Exodus ship?
- If the ressources on the Ark are so scarce then why would they float people with clothes on them?
- How come Raven could visit Finn in prison but Bellamy couldn’t visit Octavia?? If Octavia was in solitary, why?
...... Okay i’m gonna stop for now lmao but I could write an entire memoir on the inconsistencies of this show lmao
At what point did you fall in love with this show/book:
I’m thinking Murphy’s Law? The first few episodes were a little too teenage-drama for me but this episode shifted my opinion enough to get me to keep watching ^^
Bedroom+ anyone you want!
It’s Monty Time.
How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)
Poorly! Monty has insomnia and severe night terrors that often keep him up until the wee hours of the morning. There have been times when Harrison or Laura have found him passed out at his desk from exhaustion. If he does manage to sleep through the night, he’s a Starfish with his long limbs everywhere.
His routine is usually putting his contacts in their solution, brushing his teeth and combing his hair before falling face first into his bed and not moving for 6 hours.
What are their pajamas like?
Regular ol’ plaid PJ bottoms. Comfy and worn and soft. And sometimes a loose top or shirtless.
What do they dream about usually?
Nightmares, mostly. Monty rarely has dreams he remembers, but his nightmares? He absolutely unfortunately remembers those. Other than that, he’ll claim he just doesn’t dream, but it’s probably because he forgets them as soon as he wakes up.
How neat/tidy is this character?
Average. His bedroom is a mess if he’s having a Very Rough Time, but 80% of the time it’s clean and straightened up. Granted, to him if the bed isn’t made it’s a “Mess of a room”, but shhh, just let him say he’s messy.
How affectionate is this character?
With people he does care for and are close to and his family? Intensely affectionate. He enjoys generally Vibing in the same room as them or touching and being near them. If you do ever end up sleeping with him in bed, be prepared to become a teddy bear.
dirty wastelander phrasebook
Tumblr media
Madelyn and Deacon find themselves in quite the predicament after being captured by Gunners and must rely on an old Railroad secret Deacon bullshit—the Dirty Wasteland Phrasebook.
For them, it was just a regular ol’ Tuesday.
x - x
This was so not prompted, and is completely self-indulgent and full of all the things I have always wanted to write for myself lately and that makes me the happiest. I hope you enjoy, even if you don’t go here. Also, if you aren’t familiar with Monty Python, please watch this sketch or a lot of the references made here will not make any sense.
Deacon x Agent Charmer (Madelyn Hardy)
1713 words (under a cut) | Ao3
The last thing Madelyn expected to happen to her that Tuesday—was it a Tuesday? One could hardly tell anymore post apocalypse—was to be abducted. Stowed away in some dingy storage room with her hands behind her back, blindfolded by what was likely the most dust infested piece of cloth possible. At least Deacon was there with her—though she wasn’t so sure of that being a positive, considering their circumstances.
All she remembered was stalking Boston Commons, heading south towards the hospital—in hindsight a terrible idea. The entire street had been flooded with Gunners, crazed and ready to protect their territory from anybody who crossed into it. Deacon had been yelling, taunting them with his battle-cries as he ran towards them, Madelyn scrambling to reload her laser rifle as fast as she could. All for what? So they could scale the old medical center and install one of Tinker Tom’s sensors on the dilapidated roof? That would all be a tad difficult now—one gas grenade and rifle stock to the temple and it was lights out.
From what she could tell when she readjusted to the waking world, Deacon was tied to the opposite chair against her back, their chest, arms and wrists occupying the same binds. When she shifted, she felt him resist, tugging her a little too sharply so her spine hit the uncomfortable plastic backing of the seat she occupied.
“Ow,” she hissed. Matter of fact, everything in her body ached. One look at her Pip-Boy would likely tell her she was in desperate need of a stimpak and probably some RadAway too. That is, if she knew where her Pip-Boy was.
Deacon shifted, one of his fingers sneaking through the gap in the chairs to poke at her back. “Oh good, you’re alive.”
“I think I’d rather be dead,” Madelyn groaned, still wincing as she raised her head to get a better look at their surroundings. It was the standard ‘bad guy’ holding room—tools on a workbench, junk and trash, and the most awful lingering scent of flesh and blood.
“With a hit to the cranium like that, I’m surprised you aren’t,” he muttered. She felt his head tilt against hers with a gentle bump, a difficult task for him with their height difference, even when sitting and restrained. “You alright though Charmer?”
She sighed, pushing back in her own little gesture. “A massive headache but…yeah,” she smiled and despite it all, almost wanted to laugh. “Thanks Dee. Some shit we’ve found ourselves in, huh?”
He decided it was the perfect opportunity to chuckle. “I’ve been tied up under worse situations,” he stated. “Come to think of it, under much better ones too.”
The nearby door slammed open, two Gunners making their way in. A woman dressed in an old military jumpsuit, and a shirtless man with a bandolier strapped across his chest, the two clearly sent for guard duty.
“Oh will the two of you shut up?!” The one with the bandana shouted, clearly tweaking on some kind of drug—jet, psycho—Madelyn could see it in the wild way he was waving his plasma pistol around. But she also noted the glint of green on his wrist and narrowed her eyes—her Pip-Boy. Now she was alert and her blood got pumping.
Deacon couldn’t resist taunting the man, even though they were woefully unmatched. “Why don’t you make me?”
The male Gunner grumbled while the woman laughed. “Where’d that damn gag go?”
Madelyn stifled her own laughter, wondering if they had actually had to silence Deacon at some point—and if he had found a way to remove it even with his hands behind his back. “You’ll have to find a different way to gag me, big guy.”
“Fuck you!”
Deacon hummed. “Something like that.”
At that, she couldn’t resist and choked back a laugh, pursing her lips so the Gunners wouldn’t take out their frustration on her. Even though she couldn’t see him, she could tell Deacon was beaming. He curled a few of his fingers around hers as the Gunner guards began to pace.
“Come on man,” the rugged military woman urged the other man to back off. “The boss man wants these two alive for ransom. Something about this one,” she gestured to Madelyn. “Being valuable or sumthin’”
“What am I, canned cram?” Deacon mumbled under his breath. As the Gunners fussed over something frivolous, he squeezed his grip around her hand. “This is the part where we escape,” he spoke in a soft whisper, head craned towards her.
Madelyn turned but all she could see was the glimmer of his sunglasses out of the corner of her eyes. “Please enlighten me on how we are going to that.”
Deacon snickered as if she had just cracked a good joke—he seemed to find comfort in her dreary, cynical tone. “It’s time for us to use a Railroad classic. The Dirty Wastelander Phrasebook.”
Even though she knew that it is was more or less one of Deacon’s bullshit creations, she also knew it was sometimes best to humor him. She had learnt his ways, knowing that one day one of his lessons would come in handy—that Tuesday would be that day.
“Operation Cramalot?” she inquired, feeling him excitedly grip her hand. “Or do we want to skip the musical numbers this time?”
He was chuckling, shaking the both of them with his laughter. “Charmer, you know—”
Whatever he was about to say was cut off by the male guard stomping over again with a snarl, smacking Deacon across the face with an echoing slap. After quickly rebounding, his only reaction was to stay amused, accentuating his words. “Do you have a cigarette? My hovercraft is full of eels.”
“What?” the Gunner growled. “The fuck you talkin’ about cigarettes for?”
While the woman in the corner howled, entertained by it all, Deacon took the time to nudge one of his fingers against the small of her back, signaling her. Madelyn focused her attention on the female Gunner, watching her every movement while she felt her partner nimbly pull at the cords at their wrists.
“Do you want to come back to my place?” Deacon asked, voice high-pitched and full of sarcasm. The restraints came looser still. “Bouncy-bouncy?”
The Gunner shook her head, holding her stomach as she continued to laugh. “I think the boss hit this one too hard—he’s lost it!”
Madelyn decided it was her turn. “If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?” she eyed the female guard, batting her eyelashes, knowing she was laying it on much thicker than she ever would—but at this point she was well aware the other woman was under some kind of influence and wouldn’t notice. Plus, she had a codename to live up to.
Deacon, meanwhile, had loosened their ties enough to the point that they could make their move, but they would need to time it right. He tapped her once more, this time finding the teeniest sliver of skin where her shirt had ridden up—that was definitely on purpose, the flirt. “You have beautiful thighs.”
Finally, the other Gunner moved towards them with her arms crossed, obviously suspicious of the two. Madelyn stayed focused, steadying her breath and responding to Deacon’s signal. “Drop your panties, Dee, I cannot wait till lunchtime.”
With that, the two jumped up, scream-laughing as they tackled their perspective guards to the ground, not stopping until the sound of energy blasts signified their gruesome ends. All in another day for a wastelander just trying to survive, Madelyn supposed. Though, she wasn’t just another wastelander, but dwelling too much on those thoughts never did her any good. Instead, she wiped the blood and sweat from her brow, sighing as she pushed herself up from the ground.
She turned around just in time to find Deacon already standing with a satisfied smile. “I believe this belongs to you?”
Madelyn was all too pleased as she snatched the Pip-Boy—her Pip-Boy from him, quickly securing it back into place on her left wrist. She dusted off the grime and dust from the screen, sighing when the mechanism recognized its true owner, swiftly alerting her to her many injuries and her location. At least they weren’t too far away from Goodneighbor where they could rest up and get proper medical attention.
“Please fondle my bum—am I using that one right?” she asked.
Deacon chuckled, nodding as he readjusted his sunglasses and pompadour wig. “You do the Railroad—me proud Charmer. I could—”
She eyed him, tilting her head slightly at his pause. “You could…what?”
Come to think of it, he been cut off earlier too. But Deacon wasn’t that easy of a nut to crack and his smile hardly faltered. He gave a little inconspicuous shrug and she suddenly felt a surge of adrenaline and all sense of sensibility fly out the broken storage room windows. She could only hope she was reading the moment and perhaps his signals correctly.
Without much of a second thought, Madelyn reached out to grab him by the shirt collar, yanking him down and closing the distance between them. He was still smirking when their mouths met, lips threatening to stretch into a grin before they finally responded to her kiss instead. She slid one of her hands and hooked it around his shoulder, bracing herself against him as his arms wrapped around her waist, the two clumsily bumping into the nearest wall.
Only then did she pull away with a small gasp of air, staring up at him in surprise—she had acted on impulse, but that didn’t mean she hadn’t wanted to do that, been thinking about doing that for months. They were still staring at each other with somewhat agape expressions, tangled in each other’s arms when he breathed out, the goofiest smile on his lips.
“My nipples explode with delight!” Deacon exclaimed—not quite using the handbook phrase correctly.
Madelyn snickered, tears of laughter prickling at the corners of her eyes at the hilarity of it all before pressing up on her toes so that she might kiss him again. “I figured you might say that.”
The Little Wolf Queen Chapter 1
Chapter 1: The Connection
 Ava is woken up too early, is stared at by one of the boys on the hockey team and feels weird. Shawn goes to school, his nose is on overdrive and he finds his mate.
 The first thing she heard was the shrieking blare of her alarm followed by her stepmother Elena calling her name from downstairs. Groaning, she slammed her hand down on the alarm before rolling back into her sheets to enjoy the warmth, closing her eyes….and immediately opening them when she heard her door open.
 “Ava” Elena’s gentle voice came through her room. “Ava sweetheart, you gotta get up for school”
 “No” Ava grumbled.
 “Ava honey, school is important” Elena chuckled.
 “It’s not, I’m gonna make a killing being a grumpy judge on a talent show like Simon Cowell” Ava muttered from under her covers.
 “You still need to finish school, now come on and get up before-”
 “AVAAAAAA” came the loud voice of her three-year-old sister before a small mass crashed into her body with much more force than it should’ve.
 “Oof” Ava groaned upon the impact.
 “Chelsea!” Elena chastised the small girl. “Don’t do that, you could hurt your sister!”
 “Sorry Mommy” Chelsea said bashfully.
 “Don’t apologize to me, apologize to your sister” Elena scolded.
 “Sorry Ava” Chelsea smiled before throwing herself to hug her older sister.
 “S’alright kid” Ava smiled back before reaching for her phone to take a quick snapchat of her sister being all cuddly and cute.
 “Let’s get you both downstairs, gotta get you both ready for school” Elena smiled.
Reluctantly hauling herself out of bed, she remembered why she loved her blankets so much. It may have been spring in Canada, but the mornings could be chilly. Her sleep jumper and shorts were perfect until she removed the blankets, even on the carpet and with socks on, her legs felt slightly cold. Walking down the stairs somewhat drowsily with a big yawn coming up, Ava couldn’t help but smile as the twins stood at the bottom of the stairs with big curious eyes as they watched their mom with big smiles to match.
 “Oh, by the way, they ate the rest of the chocolate cake” Elena smiled apologetically. “I can buy some more from the bakery when I drop them off at Mum’s”
 “Elena darling” Ava’s dad called from the kitchen, “Where on earth is the cheese?”
 “Back of the fridge” both Ava and Elena answered at the same time.
 “You don’t suppose he’ll ever get his eyes checked, do you?” Elena quizzed gazing into the kitchen.
 “It’s Dad, what do you think?” Ava stated like it was obvious.
 Elena laughed her bell like laugh and took the hands of the twins while Chelsea grabbed Ava’s hand and pulled her down the stairs.
 “Morning sleeping beauty” Ava’s dad smiled fondly at his somewhat disheveled daughter.
 “Dad” she acknowledged. “Can you grab me that cereal?”
 Passing the cereal to his daughter, he watched her as she sighed upon looking at her phone. “everything okay?”
 “Yeah, but last two weeks of school and then summer. Which means feeling too lazy to do those last pieces of work that get me into the 11th Grade” Ava groaned miserably.
 “Just two more weeks baby” Elena smiled kissing Ava’s temple.
 “Elena do my work for me” Ava begged.
“You’re a capable woman Ava” Elena reminded her stepdaughter.
 “Fine” she grumbled.
 Eating her cereal, she was joined by an equally grumpy Jesse and a very sleepy Noah.
 “Do you want some of my fruit loops?” Jesse asked with a big yawn.
 “Nah that’s alright, you want any coco pops?” she asked him.
 “Just a spoon” he smiled dopily.
 While he got his cereal, Noah glanced at them while eating his wholemeal ham and tomato sandwich with his favourite cheese.
 “Those cereals have lots of added sugar in them y’know. You should eat something lo GI that has protein in it” Noah told them in his four-year-old “I know everything” tone before walking off to sit on the porch with their Dad.
 Narrowing her eyes in confusion, Ava reminded herself that he was four and not 30. Then she turned to Jesse as if he had an explanation, which apparently, he did.
 “He’s been watching the food network on his sick days” Jesse shrugged.
 Elena loved the food network. It made sense.
 Finishing her cereal, she went upstairs to throw on her jeans and Coca Cola t shirt and converse before heading to her mirror. She blended out her foundation and concealer before debating if he could be bothered with proper eyeshadow. Deciding she could not, she set her face with powder, bronzed her cheekbones and used the same bronzer for eyeshadow and contouring her nose before applying a nude lip and mascara. She almost forgot her highlight but then remembered that Katie was planning on polaroid’s at school today so she applied some.
 She threw her books in her bag, her tissues and bounced her way downstairs before making her coffee.
 “Well you certainly seem to be in much higher spirits” Elena smiled.
 “All things are possible with coffee and mascara Elena, all things” Ava smiled back brightly.
 “Wanna go and round up your siblings?” Her dad asked.
 “Sure” Ava agreed. “GET DOWN HERE MY ARMY” she yelled at the top of her lungs making Elena and her Dad wince.
 “I meant at a lower volume” Her Dad grumbled.
 “There’s too many to find individually” Ava shrugged.
 Just then, a mess of four children came hurdling down the hallway giggling and laughing while they raced each other to the front door.
 “School drop off time. Alex and Levi, just where do you think you’re going?” Elena said in fake sternness with her hands on her hips.
 Alex and Levi were meant to be waiting with Ava’s Dad. Instead they had their animal bag packs on and their jackets.
 “They’re coming with us” Chelsea stated proudly. “I put their jackets on and Jesse got their bags Mom”
 Raising her eyes to the ceiling, Elena sighed. “You can come to the drop offs but then we’re coming back home to say goodbye to Dad and the dogs”
 Giggling victoriously, they all packed themselves into the car and drove off to school.
 “Have a nice day. Two more weeks, that’s all Ava” Elena reminded her stepdaughter before driving off.
 Groaning in despair, Ava turned and walked her way through school.
 “Morning Ava” Monty smiled nervously at her.
 “Morning Monty” Ava smiled back.
 Monty was the socially awkward geek in her History class who seemed to have a crush on her. She wasn’t to alarmed by him, it was his friend Gavin, the extroverted creep who bothered her.
 “Babe!” she heard the exaggerated happiness in the voice of Heather Wilson, the school’s very own demon, as she rushed over to very sloppily kiss her newest toy, Dustin Kirk. Dustin and Heather belonged to the popular kids of the school. While Ava wasn’t unpopular, she didn’t have the whole “queen” status going on for her. She noticed that some of the hockey players were present, bit early for them. She spotted Katie’s older brother and then she saw Shawn Mendes with his friends Cameron Dallas and Brian Craigen. They played on the hockey team and were kinda cute. His mom was friends with Elena and her Dad. Karen was a sweet lady. But then she spotted the one who made her heart stop. Jake Henderson. All 5ft11 of his blonde-haired, blue-eyed muscle. Snapping herself out of it before someone noticed her staring, she walked around their group and onto her friends.
 “Hello Ava” Katie greeted. “How was the weekend, we didn’t see you at all”
 “Talk about missing the fun” Leah grinned. “I don’t think Laura’s ever seen so many shirtless men in her life”
 “It was a wonderful sight to behold” Laura smiled.
 “How was games night?” Stacey smiled.
 “Good, you know Elena’s parents, heavy on the food, heavy on the wine and heavier on the desert” Ava sighed contently.
 “You know I swear you’re never happy without food in your mouth” Laura laughed.
 “Food is good for the soul. And I need about all the soul I can get in these last two weeks” Ava muttered grimly.
 As the girls continued gossiping about the latest party, Ava couldn’t help but feel she was being watched. She looked up to see the last person she was expecting to be looking at her. Shawn Mendes was watching her with an odd sort of gaze as he caught her eye. Affection? Admiration? It was strange. Suddenly she felt this odd sensation in her stomach and slightly dizzy.  Before she could linger on it, the bell rang and their classes had begun.
 SHAWNS POV
 He was early to school today. Brian’s parents had taken his brother out of town for a specialist appointment for his little brothers hearing, so they were at school before the bell rang for once.
 He was watching Heather and Dustin be their usual selves and then he smelt it. That same sweet smell he caught lingering in the hallways. Except this time, it was stronger, much stronger. Overwhelmingly so. It was all his nose could focus on. A cross between vanilla and baking sugar. He took a deep inhale and turned to his left. A girl walking by seemed to radiate the smell.
 Mate. His inner wolf told him.
 He suddenly felt dizzy, his hands were sweaty, his body was warm and he felt a tugging sensation at his stomach. The smell seemed to overpower all his senses as shivers went down his spine. Could it really be?
 She was small and she had black hair. All he could see was the back of her covered by a denim jacket and a backpack. When she had sat down, she was against the wall and her could only see half her face. Caramel skin. And then by some sort of mercy she frowned. Was she okay? Was something making her sad? Then she looked up, right at him and he felt his whole world shift. He got lost in her brown eyes and he felt a drop in his stomach and a fluttery feeling. It was her. He had found his mate. She looked so familiar, but did he know her? Did she know him? He didn’t have a chance to linger as the bell rang and he was pulled in one direction whilst she was pulled in the other.
 He had spent the whole day with his head in the clouds thinking of her and when he was leaving school, he saw her once more getting into a car with… no…Liam Beauregard? He was notorious for his womanizing ways. He didn’t do love or commitment. He was in simple words, a dog.
 Walking his way to Jake’s car, he stared out the window in misery. His mate with another wolf? A deplorable one at that.
 “Uhh dude, you getting out or coming home with me?” Jake laughed.
 “Sorry man, see y’all at practice” Shawn grinned, shaking it off. He wasn’t sure if he was ready to tell his friend yet.
 He was lying on his bed formulating a plan to murder Liam when his thoughts returned to her and all he could do was smile.
 He had found her. He had found his mate. And she was perfect. Petite in height, quite slim from what he could see, not that he’d care if she was otherwise. Black hair, dark brows, chocolate brown eyes and caramel skin with plump lips. She was stunning. He wondered if she was Spanish or something. She definitely looked it.
 Broken out of his thoughts by his Mom’s voice telling him to leave his bed and the sound of a car pulling up, he suddenly remembered his Mom telling him Elena Prescott would be coming over for afternoon tea today. Elena was one of the few wolves mated to a human in their pack. Her mate actually helped out by playing the role of pack doctor on Wednesdays. They were both nice people. Besides, Elena was Shawn’s favourite babysitter as a kid. He could ask her about her human mate bond. Rare but possible, as Shawn now knew. Or did he. Was she human? He didn’t have time to dwell as he trudged downstairs to greet Elena.
 After saying hi and being told to make tea by his Mom, he returned to smiled at his babysitter who now had 5 children of her own now if he remembered correctly.
 “Hey there Rockstar” Elena smiled.
 “Ellie” Shawn smiled brightly at her.
 “You and Aaliyah are the only ones to get away with calling me that”
 “we were the best kids you ever babysat and you know it” Shawn grinned.
 “Quite possibly” Elena avoided answering
 “How are you kids?” he quizzed, genuinely interested.
 “Growing” she said ominously. “and fast”
 “How old are they all now?”
 “Jesse’s five, Chelsea is three and Levi and Alex are 18 months.”
 “Man, your house must be loud” Shawn laughed.
 “You’ve no idea. The dogs are quieter than my kids and you can hear them bark from here” Elena said dramatically.
 Suddenly Elena moved and knocked her keys off the coffee table which Shawn immediately picked up for her before spotting the keychain and the photo on it. Of Elena, her husband, her kids and Shawn’s mate.
 “Ellie who’s the older girl? You’ve only got 4 four kids” Shawn observed.
 “Oh, that’s Ava, our biggest ray of sunshine. She’s not much younger than you actually, Lewis actually had four kids from his previous marriage, she’s his third child and second daughter” Elena explained.
 “Does she know about all of this?” Shawn asked.
 “No, we agreed to keep her out of it until necessary” Elena said. “We’ll have to tell her eventually because of Jesse” Elena sighed. “Her best friend comes from a wolf family too actually, Katie Beauregard”
 “Marcus’ daughter?” Karen asked.
 “One and only, her and Katie have been attached to the hip since she moved her. More like sisters than friends those two are”
 He couldn’t believe his ears. Elena’s stepdaughter was his mate. He’d hit the jackpot. He could find out everything from her.
 “I feel like I’ve seen her before” Shawn muttered. “Does she go to my school or something?” he feigned ignorance.
 “Year below you actually” Elena told him.
 “Oh, well if ever see the two of you I’ll make sure I come and say hi” Shawn smiled politely before turning to his Mom. “I have practice now, I’ll be home for dinner, just later than usual. Bye guys”
 Turning and running out of the house he walked his way to Kyle’s house two blocks over, smiling the whole way there.
 Ava. Her name was Ava Prescott. The name suited her. Just thinking of her made him feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. He’d locked eyes with her for a split second but it was enough for him to know she was his mate. Beautiful chocolate almond shaped eyes and a gorgeous smile based off what he’d seen when she was dragged out by her friends, grinning at their enthusiasm. He didn’t notice much too overcome with his initial emotions and heart eyes.
 He did however notice Jason Lewis eyeing her up like a piece of meat as she got dragged past him.
Asshole.
 All Shawn knew was that he had to find a way to talk to her, get to know her and somehow manage not to freak her out in the process.
 He was going to be with his mate.
Sleeping (Bellamy Blake)
Please be aware that this is kind of my first time writing (not Really, I just never share my work) and its also a style I don't really use. But I thought that if im going to go out of my comfort zone to post it, I might as well write something out of my comfort zone. I hope you enjoy!
Please ignore all spelling, and grammar mistakes!
Request: No
Word Count: 863 words
-
It all happened so fast. The dropship landing, the wristbands all breaking, Murphy’s out-casting, and now, Murphy coming back. You knew something wasn't right. Why would the grounders allow him to escape? They don’t seem the type with their pinpoint accuracy. So why?
"Y/N!" You turned towards the voice, seeing Bellamy Blake. The 'Rebel King' who acted like he owned everything. "Were you around Murphy? Did you bring him in? Were you around-"
"Jeez Bell, calm down. No, I wasn't. Did you forget you banned me from leaving camp? Now, stop worrying."
"Right, right. Okay, good. Now, just stay away from the dropship." Bellamy turned to walk away before you caught his jacket sleeve.
"Wait, what? No, Bellamy, I can't. I sleep in there! You can't just take away my sleeping area." You let go of his arm and crossed your own. "Where am I going to sleep? Huh?"
Bellamy looked confused before smirking. "Sleep in my tent."
An instant blush warmed your cheeks as you took a step back in shock.
"Are you mad? No. I'd- I’d rather..." You paused, thinking. "I'd rather sleep in a tent with Monty and jasper." You regained your confidence and stepped forward again.
"Sorry, but I can't let that happen. Who knows what those two would do if a girl was in their tent? Alone."
"Do you know what you would do if a girl was in your tent alone? No? You’d try something. And frankly, I’d try my chances with Jasper and Monty." You turned to walk away, but it was your turn to get pulled back.
You turned to tell him off, but the pissed off look in his eyes told you not to.
"I don’t think you understand, darling," his jaw was clenched as he talked, and the grip on your arm didn’t seem to want to loosen. "You’re sleeping in my tent until I deem the drop ship available." He pulled you closer, his jaw loosening, "Got it?"
All the confidence you gained back instantly drained. Gulping, you nodded.
"Good, now go help around camp. And stay away from the dropship."
-
As night was starting to come about the more you wanted to run away. Though, you'd never make it past the gates, for Bellamy has made it everyone's number one priority to make sure you stay in camp.
So, you made your way to Bellamy’s tent. Hoping to get speared on the way. Upon entering though, you were surprised to see that there were two beds. Both make-shift, but one looking comfier than the other.
What surprised you even more was seeing Bellamy, shirtless mind you, in the smaller bed.
"Seeing that I made you sleep here, I figured I’d let you sleep in the actual bed."
Trying not the look at the man's abs, you stare down at your feet.
"Thank you, I guess."
"I also brought in some clothes for you to sleep in. I’ll leave for a moment to let you change. Holler when you're done." And with that, he left.
Quickly getting changed, you walked over to the door and poked your head out. "I’m done. You can come in now." Not waiting for a response, you head towards Bellamy’s actual bed.
Feeling the guilt continue to weigh you down, you sighed and lifted your head. "You can come sleep on the bed. It’s big enough to fit two people. I also don’t take up very much room." You were looking down as you finished. And with that, Bellamy crawled in.
-
You remembered falling asleep back to back. But as you woke, you found yourself front to front, with your legs intertwined, and Bellamy’s arm around your waist. You hated to admit it, but you wouldn't mind waking up like this every day.
You looked up, towards Bellamys face to see him still asleep. He looked so peaceful and at ease with himself. The weight of running a camp not showing on his features.
"You gonna keep staring?" You blushed, not just by being caught, but by his voice too. Goodness, you could think you were falling for him.
Not letting your true emotions show, you breathed in, "Well, maybe if you let go of me, I wouldn’t feel the need to hit you."
He opened his eyes, and smirked, "Yea, cause that’s what you were thinking about doing, darling." He moved so he was putting his weight onto his forearm while keeping his other on you. "You weren’t at all thinking about kissing me," he trailed his fingers up and down your exposed side.
"As a matter of fact, I wasn't." You defended.
Bellamy moved closer, moving his hand to your back. "Sure."
"Its the truth. I have no reason to lie." You knew Bellamy knew the truth, its all in your blushing.
Bellamy moved one last time, moving so you were laying down and he was basically straddling you.
"And why don’t I believe you?" He moved his head closer.
"Because you- because I-" You couldn’t think properly, not when he was two inches from kissing you.
"That’s what I thought." And those were the last words said as Bellamy closed the gap between you two.
