Beat the first half (I assume it's half) of Inscryption. It took me about 7 hours, even knowing what things did and where powerups were (watched a few Markiplier videos before deciding I wanted to play myself).

Talked my roommate (@too-many-blorbos) into trying the game. She beat the first half in 2ish hours.

She did not die once on the final boss.

Also a fun fact, where it took me ~12 tries to beat Ganondorf in TotK, WITH my best gear, she ALSO beat him in one go. Without flurry rushing because she hated the timing of it.

My roommate's gaming skills are cracked.

i keep thinking about the datamined conversation between halsin and minthara and what gets me about it is that if you side with halsin and turn minthara away, thats objectively the bad choice.

like at this point, you've rescued minthara from moonrise. you know now that she was being controlled to act against her will. you've gone to the trouble of rescuing her from her tormentors, and you've experienced what it felt like as they tried to destroy her mind. you know what will happen to her if you turn her away. and if you do, you're willingly condemning her to that fate. you've essentially allowed her to experience freedom, to regain her sense of self, only to tear that away from her again.

whereas if you side with minthara, and halsin leaves, that's the only consequence he experiences. that he's not a companion anymore. at this point, we've saved the grove, we've saved him, and we've lifted the shadow curse. we've helped him achieve what hes been hoping to do for over a century. leaving your party won't see him lose his free will. he can return to the grove and live his life.

the choice is essentially either condemn someone to a fate worse than death, knowing exactly what that entails vs not letting someone travel with you anymore. its pretty clear cut to me.

its just interesting to me that they've switched the morality of it around given that minthara is considered the 'evil' companion by so many.

So me n @egooppidum are doing our multiplayer honour mode run and aside of the endless amount of bugs, the most recent one was me receiving HER as a reward from Alfira 😭

So…we knocked out Alfira in act 1 so my durge ass doesn't kill her, just for her to gift me @egooppidum 💀 (the player she had -40 approval with LMFAO)

ALSO FCK YOU LARIAN, I CAN'T ROMANCE MY WIFE MINTHARA BECAUSE SHE BUGGED OUT IN ACT 2 (iwant to cry. Minthy is literally the only companion that I would ditch Astarion for😭)but also I'm currently romancing Gale and...I think im becoming a Gale girlie...ohmygod

Tav, when one of the companions stop them at camp to go on and on about something that's probably super important or life threatening but they're too distracted by how cool and pretty and smart and super kissable said companion is to hear a word they just said:

Okay, but Halsin, Jaheira, Minthara, and Astarion all taking one look at an Elf dark urge and immediately going "I can influence that"

So all 4 of the older Elves in the party end up being like a divorced couple that can't agree on how to raise their kid.

I thought in BG3 evil playthrough me and my friend would feel like shit after killing everyone in Grove and nothing worse can happen

but then Act 2 with Dark Urge killing Isobel and Dark Justiciar!Shadowheart path happened

I think someone should just throw all of the BG3 companions into Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Just take the post-canon generally considered "good" endings and throw em in there.

Why? Because it would be hilarious to me and also that's like the one official module that goes up to level 20.

I won't lie and say the only thing I can think of is the team trying to kill an angry mechanical purple worm while screeching at Gale because "what do you mean we're in Waterdeep and you know the bastard who owns this death trap?? I was perfectly alright in the damn Underdark thank you very much I did not sign up for this"

@justabiteofspite pointing out I had Astarion pull the ultimate 10 Charisma King move by having him kiss Gale once (then twice bc the game was bugged) then immediately went into asking Gale about his ex bitch mystra before going to bed
