Hey! Ooh! So many!! Thank you so much for the ask! (I took a long while to answer your ask because it got EXTREMELY LONG, which is why I'm including a read more. It got completely out of hand, and I will save this post because I am 1000% going to actually write some of these, they are too good).

(Also this is very messy, I'm sorry for all the mistakes and the not very stylish writing but these are just concepts).

I do like some of Taylor Swift's song, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'm a swiftie, by any means.

So... these might not fit the mood of the songs (because there are some I don't know tbh...)

Enchanted (I ACTUALLY ADORE THAT SONG, GOOD CHOICE!)

Okay, this one gives very much some 'love at first sight during a party or social event and you meet again randomly weeks later by accident' vibes. Which is what I would go for. It could work very well with Ben, and the two of you meet at an after-party after an award ceremony, and you chat a bit, but you don't exchange phone number or anything, but you regret it after that cause you can't stop thinking about him. But then you're invited to a party by one of your friends, who introduces you to a few people you don't know and BAM! they introduce you to Ben! (which I imagine very clearly being like: overcrowded room, loud music, you're holding a drink, and your friend guides you through the crowd because 'hey, I haven't introduced you to this guy yet, I'm sure you'll get along fine!' and at first you only see Ben's back, but your friend calls for him, and he turns around and that's when you recognise him **insert slow -mo effect for cheesiness and so we can take a moment to stare at his beautiful face**) and then you're both a blushing and shy mess and you spend the rest of your evening talking with him and this time you exchange phone numbers and settle on a date.

Alternatively, it could work perfectly for Caspian: meeting at a ball, and dancing together and being just 1000% smitten, but he has to dance with other ladies too for political reasons, and he can't find you again during the night (I am includin in this: him seeing you and inviting you for a dance, which turns into two, and he can't possibly ask for a third, that would be too obvious, and so he asks if you want a refreshment, which gives him an excuse to talk to you some more, but then a Lord you've been trying to avoid because he wants to court you arrives, and Caspian helps you escape to the gardens. You spend some time there together, talking, but then a guard arrives and calls for Caspian to come back inside because someone wants to see him, and then when he is finally free from his political duties again and that he looks for you, you're already gone). And he's certain he's never going to see you again, but then he's invited to a reception, and when he goes, there you are again, and BAM! He finds you, this time he makes it clear he wants to court you, and tadaaaa!

I reckon that both scenarios are very similar, but would work for both characters so... had to include both.

2. All too well

I know this song, but it's a break-up song, isn't it? That's too sad, I'm changing it up.

If we consider the title alone, without taking into account the song at all, it gives me very strong Sirius Black vibes. Because I can see Sirius spiralling down because of his family and entering one of his terrible dark phases because of them and you could make such a wonderful repetition of 'all too well' using the signs he recognizes in himself giving away that he's broken and fucked up in the head. But then you come and sit down by his side in silence, and you don't say anything, you just wait until he acknowledges you. And at first he doesn't say anything, as if he expects you to leave, but you don't, and there's this slow realization in his brain that actually, you too know 'all too well' all the symptoms of his dark phase, and that he's struggling, but you're not leaving. He remembers all the times when you've done the same, when you stayed with him and didn't leave, and showed him that his parents are wrong and that he deserves to be loved too. And I wouldn't make them say anything to each other during the whole scene, just Sirius finally reaching for her hand and breathing out a 'thank you', and then her resting her head on his shoulder, and him smiling again.

BUT THE POTENTIAL FOR REPETITIONS WITH 'ALL TOO WELL' IS JHFURHFUZH I LOVE THAT STUFF!!

like, you can use it for the causes, for the signs, for the reader, for Sirius's realization ejfiejoizejiozejroeijr (chef's kiss!!!) (these 4 paragaphs would be scattered across the oneshot, not written in a row like this, obviously)

Slow decaying relationship, despite the love, it just won't work and it's killing both of you but you're drifting apart and it's better if you stop it all while you still have fragments of your hearts still unbroken.

4. Anti-hero

Had heard that song before, still had to check it again cause I only knew the chorus... Not gonna take into account much of the song in itself BUT

This screams Logan Delos, like crazy.

We could here again play with the repetitions (that's my thing, sorry, I'm a sucker for repetitive structures and echoes throughout texts like... I love that shit) and shift the cause of the problem (the dialogues would follow each other, but the following paragraph would come after Logan's father has left and you're together, alone, after their confrontation):

Logan's father: I have no idea what you're on about. You've played too much with this ridiculous game, filled with silly stories of robots and cowboys and damzels in distress waiting for a hero. This isn't the solution. We both know you're the problem, Logan.

i went to ben barnes sept 22 london concert and here's some highlights:

sang his ep, some unreleased songs, "jealous guy" by john lennon, "river" by bishop briggs, and "you got a friend in me"

for "you got a friend in me" he brought his dad out to play guitar. his mom was also in the audience.

anna popplewell, freddy carter, and jessie mei li came out to support him and were just chilling in the audience ( though unfortunately i didn't realize this until after ).

this man is a dork who showed us the "lumos" trick to get your phone to light up. bonus, beforehand he asked us if we liked harry potter and the way you could feel the audience get excited but also nervous cause we know he knows he's fancast sirius black lol.

while talking between songs he mentioned he'd sing more than just his own songs, someone in the audience asked why, and he said "cause i've only got 5 songs and you're here for two hours" 😂

was very sweet talking about his original music and how he wanted to create positive messages about love and loving yourself and appreciating life's moments

seemed so grateful and looked like he was tearing up at a few moments

was incredibly sweet with his bandmates. he mentioned everyone by name multiple times and gave them time to solo perform. he thanked them all at least once. kevin burke opened for the concert and talked about having publicly come out as bi earlier that week and said that ben had known for awhile and supported him. we love a bi king and an ally!

ben was just so genuine!! like not only incredibly talented but he seemed so sweet and down to earth and thrilled to be there.

story time with Lils.

I could give a simple answer to this, very short, and all, but I feel like telling the story of how I got into fanfiction so you’ll get a whole textbook instead.

It must have been like 2009 (catch me speaking like an old person), when I was laying in my grandma’s bed, fantasizing about a self insert into Harry Potter (actual Harry Potter mind you I didn’t know the Marauders, nor was my 9 year old self in love with a Sirius yet) and thinking “Gosh wish I could write that… but I can’t because copyright and it’s illegal.”

Fast forward do 2011-2012, THE FACEBOOK ERA, and your girl stumbles into a fanpage that *literally* was all about reader inserts with certain YouTubers I had an unhealthy obsession with at the time. It was then that Lilly discovered ✨the fantastic world of fanfiction✨. And it didn’t stop.

I love reading, but I had always been one to write stories, poems, songs, you name it, I probably wrote it. And so I started writing fanfics as well. First I think it must have been the YouTubers. I also remember reading a Percy Jackson fanfic once, and omg it’s been so long, I don’t even remember the webpage I read it at, but it was like it’s own little blog with its own little colors and stuff, cool shit tbh.

Must have been around 2012 that I started a fanfic of Jack Frost. Yes ladies and gentleman, Jack Frost, he was too cute for 12 y/o Lilly. That one, is absolute cringe if I go back and read it now, but also kinda funny? The reverse harem was so heavy in that one I swear I didn’t even know that was a thing but EVERYONE was inlove with the MC.

Either way, writing longer stories really wasn’t for me back then, so I started writing oneshots. And boy-oh-boy did I love them. I must say “Thank you Bucky Barnes for existing and having me obsess over you.” I must have over 30 one shots written for him. Or more, I have never counted. Some still sitting on my drafts lol.

Then I started writing for Loki and made a small follow along fic of the series, called Time Variant 30578, and I was so proud I finished it (-ish, season 2 just came up and I still have to write for that).

Not that it’s the only thing I’ve finished, I actually wrote a book, it’s a book about a serial-kiIIer, but even if we see his life, the actual unaliving parts are told from the perspective of the victims. Pretty gory, certainly something. But I liked it. That one’s done and sitting in my computer. I still want to find time to edit it and maybe publish it one day, but who knows? Off topic.

Anyway I rewatched SPN and wrote a few shots for one of the loves of my life Dean Winchester. And I have pondered on writing a series for a gender-bend spell type of thing. A short one (but actually short this time, not like GC).

And then, somewhere in between me starting a small business of HP stuff and watching Tick…Tick…Boom! (Which had me obsess over Andrew), and the already smoldering obsession with Ben, I started reading Marauders fics. Discovering the magical world of ✨Poly!Marauders✨

And then I wrote the first part of Gilded Constellations (march this year, probably) and then the second and then the first 12 parts and then I decided to post it and then people showed actual interest?!?! And I kept writing and writing and then I wanted GC to have smut. But I was shit at smut and wanted to practice so The Five Senses was born. After a LOT of research, I kid you not, so much reading fics and even YouTube tutorials lol (on writing guys, that kind of content is NOT allowed on YouTube!). Anyway, writing just solidified my obsession with my boys. And then there was Maraudween, more smut practice but also, I kind of like writing smut at this point? And scary action filled stories??? Right up my ally.

So yeah, in short; I’ve always been a writer, I have always liked Harry Potter and I have been writing fanfics for a while and just recently started writing for the Marauders, but you’re not gonna stop me any time soon.

I like living in my own head, and I love writing stories, and I adore our boys so, you’ll be seeing so much of me you’ll get sick of it lol

Because I was deep in the fandom during this era 😭 2012-2017 was the height of my HP phase but more specifically dramione. Dramione and silver trio content was all I consumed. It got to a point where it was hard to remember what was canon and what was just fanon commonly found in dramione fics because what do you mean Blaise was only mentioned like 5 times in the book and isn't actually Draco's best friend and/or lover depending on what fanfic you read 🧍🏾‍♀️

And in the defense of the fandom, every character has fancasts. For the longest time Aaron Taylor Johnson was the James Potter fancast and Ben Barnes was the Sirius one. I think the fandom has slowly moved on though so I couldn't tell you who the young fancasts are now but I do still think Ben Barnes is the one for Sirius but just adult Sirius. To be fair, marvel is like the only fandom I've been in that doesn't do fancasts

PLS let’s talk about the modern day Marauders fandom. The only good thing I like about it is the diversity in fancasting but even then there’s still weird ageism against women from other women, like why is the 35 year old woman from 10 years ago too old but not the 42 year old man, Emily?

Sorry, I didn't respond until now. It's been a busy week, and this is the first time I got on my computer in order to answer asks.

I've been a fan of the Marauders for 22 years. That's the majority of my life, and I know that my years in the fandom is even older than many that are currently in the Marauders fandom, so I'm probably considered ancient to many of them.

I say this as a warning because this is probably going to be a long one, so strap in

I didn't even realize that they changed the actress for Lily. I'm not surprised though considering most of the modern Marauders fandom has pushed her out completely in favor of 2 characters that have never interacted in canon. Aka James and Regulus

Did they probably interact back in the day? Yes, but it doesn't change what I said.

I'm all for mlm. Just look at my blog for even a moment and it's obvious, but this big push in the last 10 years to give their favorite marauders big, dramatic gay romances and pushing out the amazing women that they 100% loved has always been a pet peeve. (Not to mention the amount of characterization that is CONSTANTLY ignored, making entirely different characters all together) However, ship and let ship has always been a policy for me, so whatever..

It just bugs me that these boys had such a loving brotherhood, but the fandom puts too much emphasis on romantic relationships (because we all love the smut) that they forget just how important their platonic relationships were to the entire plot of the story. Gods forbid men be allowed to show affection to each other the way women regularly do without there having to be something romantic between them.

That was an unexpected rant...sorry.

Anyway, it amuses me that they still refer to Andrew Garfield, Ben Barnes, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as "Young Marauders", yet they are all in their 30s and 40s. Ben Barnes is officially older than Gary Oldman was when he was cast as Sirius. Andrew is the same age that David Thewlis was when he was cast as Remus.

Don't even get me started on the casting of Aaron Taylor-Johnson. I, personally, have never actually had him as my fancast when reading fics. James and Lily fancasting have always been more personal ones that change with my mood..probably because I really am such a Jily shipper.

It's honestly been so long since I even tried looking at Marauders' stuff that I'm not up to date with any other fancasting. Sorry..

I don't know if you still do fc recs, but Eddie Munson alts? I want someone with more long hair resources since Joseph's is usually short.

This is a really interesting question. I'm definitely focusing more on the hair than the aesthetic since that's what you mentioned because I'm struggling to find anyone who perfectly captures both the energy and physical look that Joseph as Eddie has. I will also absolutely admit this list skews older than I'd like considering the character is like 20-21. Here's what I've got:

Jorge Lopez has the vibes and his hair has the attitude even when it's shorter (30)

Aidan Laprete leans a little more into the DnD nerd than metalhead, but honestly he could be fun for it (20)

Luke Pasqualino in his Musketeers days (24-26 at the time)

Robert Sheehan maybe in his Umbrella Academy resources but might only work if you want an older Eddie (34 now)

Luke Arnold has the hair and the charm (38 now, 30 when Black Sails started)

Dylan McNamara has the hair but I don't know that I'd say he has the vibes (age unknown)

Ben Barnes in older projects like Prince Caspian and Dorian Gray, the resources should be findable because he was a popular Sirius Black fc for a while (24ish in those resources, 40 now)

But also I'd say don't feel like you have to be limited by the hair! I've reblogged at least one gif pack that had over 100 gifs of Joseph Quinn in Stranger Things, and if the energy is there for him in some other projects, the hair shouldn't be a make or break it to use the gifs!

ROLEPLAYER.QUESTIONNAIRE

THE.MUN

How long have you been roleplaying?. Ten, fifteen years. I can’t remember when I started, exactly, but it’s been at least a decade. 

What platforms have you played on?. LifeJournal, AIM, Skype, Discord, Tumblr, and chatzy, I think it was called? That’s all I can remember, at least. 

Do you make other fanworks, or just roleplay?. I used to write fic; it’s been awhile since I’ve written straight fic, but I like making edits and graphics, icons, etc. when the mood strikes. 

Do you prefer canon, divergent or au?. Canon is fun, but limiting in some ways. Divergent and AU allows for a lot more "what if" situations to take place. 

How many languages do you write in?. I’m an American; all I know is English ;) (I do wish I connected better with the foreign language classes in school, because I’d love to be fluent enough to write in another, though...)

Where you do you get your inspiration?. Anywhere and everywhere, to be honest. 

Do you write with music?. Sometimes; if I do, it’s gotta be instrumental (film scores, classic piano/jazz pieces, etc.) Lyrics make me wanna sing along and I can’t do that while I’m trying to write. 

THE.MUSES

How many characters do you write?. Currently? There’s Sasha here, then Billy Russo on another blog, Lucifer on another, and a few lit muses on a multi from fantasy-ish books. I used to have another multi where I wrote several other characters, and an OC multi for a couple of my own creations, but they kinda... died. 

Who was your first rp muse?. The first one I can really remember writing in great detail was canon-centric Lucifer in SPN. (My Luci has since long developed past canon things of course; he’s mine now.)

Who is your most recent muse?. Most recently created? Probably either Billy or one of muses on the lit multi. Most recently written was Sasha here. 

Which three (3) OCs do you wish got more attention?. I wish my OC blog had gotten more focus. Then I might have kept it going, but the girls never got much attention and it was harder to develop them without that interaction. -shrug-

Which three (3) canons do you wish got more attention?. Rhysand and Lucifer and maybe... Feyre? Or Elain? IDK, probably some on the lit multi. 

What song always reminds you of a character? Which one?. I’ve never really connected song-to-character that way. Sorry. 

Do you have character playlists?. I used to make some when I was in the SPN and the OUAT fandom; I don’t anymore and it’s been a LONG time since I made one. 

Do you have characters you used to write, but don’t anymore?. Oh definitely. Lucifer’s changed drastically, and there was a time I went without writing him (when I started playing with Sasha and Billy and all the Ben Barnes effects ;)  ) but um... I wrote Killian Jones and Emma Swan for a while, while OUAT aired. I wrote Regina Mills, I’ve written Loki AND Thor at different times, and I know there’s others, but that’s what I’m remembering right now. 

Any you’d love to bring out of retirement?. Maybe my OCs... one day. 

Characters you love, but could never write?. I love LOTR, but I don’t feel like I could ever write any of them. Even if I wanted to. That’s probably the main one.   

THE.SHIPS

Do you like shipping?. Definitely! 

Single or multiship?. Multiship. I mean, I have faves, but definitely multiship on my blogs now. 

What was your first ship?. Oh god, I don’t remember. Some of the earlier ones were Michifer (Michael and Lucifer) or Samifer (Lucifer and Sam); I liked the angst and drama and how messed up it all was, sue me. Sirius/Remus was a big one too. Hermione/Draco had an appeal to me too, when I was younger. 

Which ship have you always wanted to try writing?. I don’t know, to be honest. I think most of the ships I’ve wanted to write, I find a way to do so? I mean, if I can’t RP it, I’ll write a short ficlet or something. -shrug- 

Are there any popular ships you love?. Right now? Or in general? Because right now, Darklina takes the top. I’m also fond of Darkling/Zoya and Darkling/Nikolai. For reasons. General speaking, I’ve never really kept up with the popularity of a ship, so I don’t know for certain, but I loved Captain Swan for the longest time. 

Ones you hate?. It wasn’t so much the SHIP, but the fandom that made it unbearable, but Swan Queen was one that for the longest time I couldn’t STAND. I don’t mind it so much now that I’m not deep in the fandom anymore. Funnily enough. 

Any guilty pleasure ships?. I’m sure some of them are, but like, I don’t care? It’s a ship and let ship zone here. And if it’s something I don’t like, I just *gasp* ignore it! 

Do you ship anything ‘problematic’?. Oh gosh yes. In one way or another, there are many. But like, I LIKE that aspect of them? Does that make sense? If it was all perfect and fluffy, I’d be damn bored REALLY quickly. I like exploring the mess and problems. 

Do you have any ships you miss?. I don’t think so. I’ve had some Lusander (Darkling/Luda) that aren’t around anymore... I had some awesome ships with Lucifer too that aren’t around anymore. 

Do you prefer common or rare pairs?. I don’t really mind one way or the other. As long as I can see the chemistry, it’s being shipped ;)

THE.FANDOMS

How many fandoms have you written in?. Hmm... Off the top of my head I can think of Harry Potter, Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, The Vampire Diaries/The Originals/Legacies, Grishaverse, ACOTAR series, Netflix/Disney+ The Punisher... 

What was the first fandom you wrote in?. I think it was Harry Potter. I’m pretty sure it was HP.   

What fandom do you wish more people knew? (And tell us a bit about it!). Um... I don’t really have an answer to this one. 

Do you like crossovers?. If we can make it work, sure. 

Which fandom have you always wanted to write in?. Shadowhunters. I liked the show well enough, and the books I HAVE read I’ve enjoyed, but I’ve got so many more to read and I just.. haven’t gotten to it yet? 

Do you prefer animated, text, or real life media?. Not a huge animated fan, but otherwise, I really don’t care. 

What is your favourite genre?. Fantasy. Easily fantasy. And angst. Romantic angst and drama! 

Least favourite?. Fluffy romance all the time with now problems-- and comedy. I like a good snark, but that buddy/dumb comedy stuff--I can’t stand it. 

What tropes do you love?. Enemies to Lovers is a good one. (Or a good Friends to Lovers to Enemies to Lovers heh). I’m sure there are others, but like... I can’t think of their names right now? 

Which do you hate?. Childhood Friends to Lovers just... bores me? I don’t HATE it, but it doesn’t hold my interest like the sexual tension of other tropes. 

Do you write in any dead fandoms?. I don’t think so, right now? I’m not sure.

So…are we thinking fancast Sirius or movie Sirius? or better even; fanart Sirius?

Because in my head, Sirius is definitely 10/10 attractive. Shaggy black hair, thunder grey eyes, pale, sharp facial features — more on the thin side but like in an attractive way, edgy style like leather jackets, black and white based clothes, ripped jeans, band shirts…and tattoos ofc :) so…then definitely 10/10 he‘s got that „cool boy“ / „bad boy“ vibe looks wise.

if we talk fancast Sirius (Ben Barnes) then I‘d say solid 9/10.

…and movie Sirius, well…he’s a bit on the old side for me personally so I can’t judge his sexy-ness.
