I'm no Charles scholar but as someone who followed even his microexpressions every time anyone mentioned Carlos to him throughout 2024, I actually look at it in the opposite way than you haha. For me, all year long he just refused to acknowledge the magnitude of it all by trying to brush it off with banter or by saying it was a long way away and just being pretty measured with his words until at least the last third of the season. Not to say he didn't say nice things all year round bc ofc he did - even started all his Lewis answers by first mentioning Carlos.

But he was just something else in this moment and I think we all saw it clear as day. There was some sort of force in his tone and words that like you said left nothing up for debate about the authenticity or sincerity of his emotions. So for me, he WASN'T being careful with his words for once. To Me, his whole speech felt 100% genuine and heartfelt and not something that he maybe prepared beforehand - it was too raw and real for that. (The WCC-related emotions would have played a part in making all emotions run high in general so that would've contributed to this too).

I think this was also THE moment to shut down the PR rumours which at that point wouldn't even have mattered honestly but the way he spoke, the passion in his voice should have given the doubters their answer.

I wanted to add the post race debrief video to this too. It flew under the radar with everything else going on but as if the "I wouldn't be the driver I am today without him as my teammate.." wasn't enough, he really went "If we are in the fight next year for the championship, it's thanks to Carlos".. like hello?!! 😭 (it's hilarious now bc Ferrari changed their whole car concept for 2025 lol but back then it was like KILL ME NOW 🫠)

The concept of Charles and microexpressions and denial is near and dear to my heart so that is quite delicious to me. i love the concept of charles and emotional repression as i think is quite clear to everyone. although it is just my perversion because i dont think the real guy ever particularly shows any signs of overt repression he just likes to keep things breezy and im with him there. BUT the denial of carlos leaving thing is so intriguing to me i have seen a few posts in a similar vein and i eat them UP.

he really did go way over the necessary level with his speech too! and THEN the pic where he was a lil teary eyed!! hello!! genuine emotion.....

Day 24 of National Clean Your House Month:

Shaved the dog. My doodle grooming abilities improve each time, but she still looks a liiiittle raggedy by the end. But her rockstar hair is now framed by an otherwise trimmed self, so I'll take it as a win.

Vacuumed the entire downstairs, including ground zero of the shaving party. How one dog can produce such a pile is beyond me.

Also vacuumed the couch.

Cleaned up the car interior for Holiday Travels.

Summer ended too fast, didn’t start packing until the day before which just added unnecessary stress, and then for some reason getting hit with a huge wave of anxiety abut all the things that can go wrong with classes for my research experience and how I’m not sure any decisions I’ve made are right or if I even have the capability to make the serious adult decisions that are looming over me😭😭

augh i so get u. self doubt and like beating urself up for doing something "wrong" is so real. and lando i feel like would actually relate. i think a lot of the drivers probably have very grindset/'positivity at all costs' mindsets yknow. which makes sense from a sports psychology approach. anyway my point is that lando seems the most vocal about being hard on himself and being disappointed in certain choices etc. i'm sure he'd be a great person to talk to about that kind of thing. idk that he'd be able to make it all better but at the very least he would let you talk and be there to reassure you that everyone feels that way at one point or another.

lando aside. you'll get through it! it's hard and scary and worrying on one side of it, but soon enough you'll be in the middle of it and then eventually on the other side yknow. like idk i'm 25 and ive not got a full time job yet! ive got a degree but haven't done anything with it so far. we have plenty of time in our lives and IF something does get screwed up you have time to fix it. i'm sure it'll all go smoothly though and don't beat urself up about stuff that's already happened🤷‍♀️💝

hiii im the anon! some things about the movie that bring tears to my eyes: sebastians quote about imperfect fathers and imperfect sons, the blue fairy mentioning "lost, broken things" as it pans over gepetto, carlo's pinecone, the pine over his grave, the fact geppetto chops down the pine to make pinoccho, gepetto following the circus as pinoccho sings a song about his papa, the spazzatura character arc that parallels with candlewick's etc etc etc what a movie!

YEEEEESSSSSSS TO ALL OF THIS!!!

One thing I love that this movie did was that it understood the core appeal of a story of a young boy, a son, who's been told he's not a real boy, and thusly not a real son, and who tries his best to be "good" so that he may become human, and in the end is (sort of) told he was real all along, and is rewarded for this by becoming "real".

But it uses it's setting and characters (like spazzatura and Candlewick) To investigate what constitutes as truly "good". Is it following the rules? That's what the original story seems to say, but what if the rules are (as they are in a fascist system) broken? It's very poignant that a part of the climax is pinnochio saving himself and everyone else by lying. Because sometimes that's a necessary part of rebellion and survival!

I'd argue that this movie's definition of "good" (if it even has one simple enough to be defined) is inspiring others to be better, whether that's by standing up to someone they can't bring themselves to stand up to, or by sacrificing things for them. Pinnochio does all of these things for spazzatura, pinnochio, Candlewick, Sebastian, etc. It's really touching watching the arcs unfold

And absolutely everything about imperfect fathers and imperfect sons. I heard that line in the trailer and immediately knew this movie was gonna give me irreparable psychic damage in the best way.

I love that unlike in the original where pinnochio lets his father down by. Being a child (a very young child at that. He is literally. 1 day old) and making childish mistakes and decisions- it's gepetto who lets pinnochio down by wanting him to be something he's not, guided by his own grief! It's both a more compelling and relatable dynamic with more room to grow but also is especially poignant with the movies unique ending.

It really drives home the theme that it's not the job of children to grow up into adults their parents can be proud of (a storyline echoed w/ Candlewick), but for parents to do their best to raise a child who's proud of themself. AUGH IT'S SO GOOD 😭!!! Movies that make me do this ↓

okay okay okay, so the re2 remake did damage to me in my junior year of high school<33 so i have a generic re2 au w chryzure,,,, not bc i ship leon and claire bc.. icky, but i do think it tracks that chrysi and azure would only go through the events of that game after having a heartfelt conversation in the rain on opposite sides of a chain link fence… they could only be separated frm each other via zombies, and even then, they find each other again… also azure turns around after finding chrysi and he finds that she has adopted a child. he is now a father. he didn’t know that would end up happening, but boy, did it!!!

speaking of chryzure re aus, sdldjflskjflksjdfslkdjf…… re7 chryzure au breaks my heart. azure doesn’t care that chrysi has been supposedly dead for YEARS—he gets an email frm his girlfriend wife soulmate and he is ON HIS WAY. nothing will stand in front of him!!! even chrysi made murderous by sentient mold!!!!!!!!!!! it’s okay, he can fix her!!!!!!!!!!!! but the scene where she shoves him out into the hallway and effectively separates them before she goes murderous again KILLS ME!!!!!! he loves his wife!!!! he wants her to come back with him so bad! AND THE HELICOPTER SCENE WHERE CHRYSI’S ALL LAID OUT ON THE MEDICAL COT AND THEY’RE FLYING AWAY FRM THE HOUSE AND THEY’RE HOLDING HANDS FINALLY, AFTER YEARS OF BEING SEPARATED…. IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY!!!

i have a variation of the re7 au where azure’s the one that went missing and AUGH. it hurts more, i think? bc he’s normally so careful, so the fact that he was captured and infected w mold is upsetting to chrysi. again, the shoving-out-of-the-room-to-protect-her scene kills me, but it makes me even sadder when it’s azure doing it,,,, bc he’ll sacrifice himself for chrysi over and over again, he’ll do anything to keep her safe above all else, and even though it feels like tearing out his own heart, he’ll leave her if it means her safety…. in that universe, the helicopter scene is chrysi being very exasperated and frustrated w azure. meanwhile, he’s like “omg,..,,, i get to be w my soulmate gf wife for good this time!!!!!”…. cut to chrysi getting involved in zombie cases again bc there’s no stopping her. sigh.

it’s not super an official au, but i do like thinking of re3 scenes in aa chryzure context?? or jst chrysi being a cool agent being tracked down by a deadly lab-grown zombie creacher… i jst think chrysi kicks ass and she would look cool doing all the same things jill valentine did. azure is a prettyboy special agent that knows abt chrysi’s past and he’s always admired her frm afar,,, this is only so that i can have the scene where chrysi gets infected and azure starts tearing through zombies to get a cure for her bc he has such a major soulmate crush on her. umm ummm, the scene where that scientist guy is holding carlos in front of him and trying to get to safety under the context that jill won’t shoot, but he does that w azure and azure’s like “go ahead. kill him. i know your aim is good enough to not hit me” and chrysi’s like “i appreciate the confidence in me, i jst think that maybe you shouldn’t have it.” but she does have good aim, so bye bye!!! (i haven’t seen gameplayof re3 in a while, so pardon me if the details are hazy ;;;; )

UMMM, i don’t know if these count, but the live action resident evil movies that are not at all related to the games (not truly) have some moments that i’ve superimposed soooo hard on chryzure zombie aus. like azure slowly developing the telekinetic powers of the third one (??? i think??? i also haven’t seen the movies in a while), or him dying and being brought back wrong (…can’t remember the context for that either, but umm it’s because chrysi was going to be hurt by some flying shrapnel and azure shielded her with his body instead,,, causing the shrapnel to travel straight through his body and he dies apart from chrysi bc she’s dragged away from him by somebody trying to keep her away from zombies. it is a sad moment that i like to turn aroudn in my head like a plate in the microwave),,, meanwhile chrysi keeps building up her groups of survivors over and over again.

OHHH, ANOTHER RE MOVIE SCENE I THINK OF IS HAVING AZURE BE INFECTED AND HE’S SLOWLY TURNING BUT HE HAS TO HELP THEM, SO HE KISSES CHRYSI ONE LAST TIME BEFORE SACRIFICING HIMSELF BY BLOWING UP ALL ZOMBIES AROUND HIM. i don’t have this be canon most of the time (or maybe it is… maybe i’ll go with the “azure brought back to life” thing being that he’s jst clone after clone of himself, with new zombie powers each time.), but it is something i like to think of…

but yeah yeah yeah, i love the movies and how silly they are + i think azure deserves to be a new, fucked up zombie clone of himself each time, and that he should find his original body being kept in stasis with chrysi, and so there’s a whole moral issue of, “i’m not the actual person she loves, but i love her and i want to be with her… even though i know the original version of me deserves it more.” now i am thinking abt this rlly hard. fuck. i could make a whole, unique storyline frm this alone bc i looooove this little rabbit hole.

there’s also that chrysijacks re7 au, and with that, i mostly like to imagine chrysi chasing jacks with a chainsaw <3 it’s what she deserves. it’s also what jacks deserves. get his ass, honey.

(that helicopter scene haunts me so mmuch btw, so i always imagine a ship in that setting, bc it’s so genuinely romantic in its peak form… going through and hell and escaping it, and clinging to each other as you go to someplace better… it makes me cry every time i think of it. i always make it more touchy-feely bc IT SHOULD BE!!!

You had been falling asleep for a minute there, but now you were wide awake again. You rolled over and looked at the time on your phone. You squinted at the bright screen and read 2:15 A.M. How was that possible?

Across the room, your roommate slept soundly. You pouted. It wasn’t fair. You wanted to sleep but your mind wouldn’t shut up. You would gladly let Queen Rapunzel hit you in the head with her frying pan if it knocked you out. “Hey.” You spoke softly so you wouldn’t wake your roommate.

“Hey.” Carlos’s voice was equally soft, probably so he wouldn’t wake up Jay. “Why are you calling so late? Is something wrong?”

The worry in your boyfriend’s voice brought tears to your eyes. Well, it was a combination of his worry and your stress. Ugh, the stress was enough that pretty much anything could’ve made you cry right then.

“I can’t get to sleep,” you said.

Carlos let that sit for a beat before replying. “Something’s upsetting you. Do you—yawn—want to talk about it?”

“Um. I guess I could?” You stayed on the call but returned your eyes to the ceiling. “I can’t stop thinking about schoolwork.”

“Mm,” Carlos hummed. “Any class in particular?”

“Mostly precalculus and history.”

“History of Auradon?”

“Yeah.”

“Do you still have homework to do?”

“No, I . . . I mean, I attempted all of it, but I’m pretty sure I got at least half my precalc homework wrong.”

“I can help you find a tutor in the morning.”

“Do you know someone who could tutor me?” you asked.

“I’ll be able to find someone,” Carlos said with a yawn. “Remember, I’m friends with the king of Auradon, and he knows a lot of people. I’ll find someone to help you.”

“Thanks, hon. That’s so sweet of you.”

“And you said HIstory of Auradon was bugging you, too?”

You sighed. “Yeah. There’s a unit test at the end of the week and I’m so not ready.”

“There are definitely people who can help you with that,” Carlos said. How he managed to sound so confident while also sounding sleepy, you couldn’t figure out.

“Thank you,” you said.

“Are you still feeling bad?” Carlos asked.

The lines on the ceiling turned into royal family trees. You squeezed your eyes shut to block them out. “Gah! Yes!”

“What can I do to help?”

“I don’t know,” you grumbled. “My mind won’t shut up.”

“Hmm.” Your boyfriend was silent on the other end, but you could hear the gears turning in his head. “We need to find something for you to focus on so your brain won’t be able to think of schoolwork.”

“What do I focus on, though?”

“Um . . . have you tried counting sheep?”

You laughed. “Oh, I tried. I can’t count normally anymore. I try to count, but my mind goes to pi over six, pi over three, pi over two, two pi over three—”

“Okay, okay,” Carlos said. “Let’s stay away from numbers. And lines. And curves. And . . . what is the test on Friday about?”

“Royal alliances,” you said with a groan.

“Then let’s stay away from royalty, too.”

“Hard to get away from around here,” you said.

Carlos laughed. “You’re right about that. On my first day in Auradon, every other person I met was royalty.”

You laughed. “I’d love to go far away, maybe second to the right and straight on till morning, if it meant I never had to look at royal lineages ever again.”

“Oh!” Carlos almost interrupted. “I have an idea! Tell me five things you can see right now.”

“Uh . . . it’s dark.”

“Oh, well, um.” You could picture the adorable sheepish look on his face. “Well, it’s not completely dark, is it? You can still see a few things? Maybe five things?”

You looked around the room. Your roommate’s bed appeared colorless in the dark, but you could see its outline. “Bed.”

Between the two beds, the moon shone through the window. “Window. Moon. Curtains. Five things?”

“Five things.” You could hear the smile in his voice.

“Um . . .” You looked at your desk. “Desk.”

“Good,” said Carlos. “Now what are four things you can touch right now?”

“Uh . . . phone. Bedspread. Pajamas. Um . . .” You switched your phone to your other hand so you could reach out to touch something, anything. The wire of the phone charger brushed against your fingers. “Phone charger.”

“That’s good.” He yawned. “Can you tell me three things you can hear?”

“Your voice,” you said, smiling. Carlos chuckled on the other end of the line. “Your laugh. And . . . um . . . oh! My voice.”

“Good job. What are two things you can smell?”

“Hmm.” You thought about it. You were so used to how your room smelled now, in contrast to the beginning of the school year, that you couldn’t smell it anymore. “Does my room count if I can’t actually smell it?”

“I don’t think so,” Carlos said gently. “Is there anything in the room that smells different?”

You inhaled deeply, trying to focus on your surroundings. You smelled . . . pencils? “Pencils,” you whispered. “I sharpened my pencils not too long before I went to bed.”

“All right. Anything else?”

You sniffed the room again. “There’s a faint smell of laundry detergent on my blanket,” you said.

“That’s your two things,” said Carlos. “One more: what’s one thing you can taste?”

“One thing I can taste,” you echoed. You opened your mouth to taste the air. Nothing. Wait. No. There was—

“There’s still a bit of garlic taste in the back of my mouth,” you said, trying not to giggle. “From dinner. I guess I didn’t get it all when I brushed my teeth.”

Carlos laughed. “Don’t you brush your tongue?” he teased.

“Shut up,” you said between laughs.

“Sounds like I’ve woken you up more,” Carlos said. “Sorry.”

“Maybe, but it’s okay.” You yawned. “Or maybe I’m not more awake?”

Your boyfriend let out a soft, warm chuckle. “Is your mind quieter now?”

“Yeah, but . . . I’m worried it’ll become noisy again. And what if I run out of things I see and hear and touch?”

“I’ve found it helpful to list other things,” Carlos said. “I would list, just to myself, all the dog breeds I can name.”

“I could probably only name five,” you admitted.

“It doesn’t have to be dog breeds,” he said. “It could be anything you know well that gets your mind focused on one thing. Cat breeds, moons of other planets, celebrities with blond hair, InstaRoyal models.”

You laughed and yawned again. “I might try cat breeds, at least at first.”

“That’s good. I hope you get to sleep soon, babe,” Carlos said in his gentle voice.

“Thank you, hon.”

“Good night. I love you.”

“Love you too.”

Your phone beeped, signaling the end of the call. You placed your phone back on your nightstand and returned your unfocused gaze to the ceiling.

Cat breeds, Carlos’s voice echoed in your memory. You imagined cuddling with him on Evie’s couch, his arms encircling you as you listed off cat breeds.

"Carlos has been home for weeks" this is… kind of why I don't like the pacing of these three part arcs tbh? like. it would almost make sense if Cecil was talking about it like Steve is ALSO home and things FINALLY got worked out. but that's not the case. so like, is he going to reveal a reason for this delay? maybe, but it feels like they do this a lot where they try to keep it "real time" in situations that don't make sense

I mean I also guess… Carlos being in this "funk" would have less impact if it hadn't been prolonged? but that just seems like a weird thing to throw in… in that order… maybe I'm nitpicking too much but even just arranging it differently, like, "ever since he came home a few weeks ago, he's been in a funk" just. Something about the way it was initially framed made it sound very "here we gotta get you up to speed" and that's really stilted and unnatural

At one point, Bonham brings him a beautifully frosted cupcake and says, “I know we’ve been fighting lately, but I came with a peace offering. Here.” “Wow, thanks.” He says. He takes a bite of it, chews, grimaces, and spits it out. “Augh, what is that?” “It’s lotion, you bastard! That’s for taking a knife to all my stage clothes!” She yells it loud enough that everyone hears. What does Kevin say, what do you say, and how does everyone react?

Kevin: You bitch! 

Me: Enough! 

I grab both of them by the ears. 

Bons and Kevin: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. 

Me: I’ve had enough of the both of you bickering and fighting with each other. You’re friends. Friends don’t act this mean towards each other and if I have to treat you like children I will. 

Rudy: Whoa 

Randy: You should do this to them more often. Might stop them from fighting. 

Sean: Mama Carrot is out. Watch out! 

Erik: I remember her doing that to me it’s not pleasant. 

Linus is outside smoking

2. You and Bonham are hanging out with QR one day and at one point she and Rudy are talking to each other in Spanish. Frankie comes up to them and says to Bonham, “I didn’t know you knew Spanish.” She responds with, “Yeah, I do. It’s how me and Rudy talk shit about you guys to your faces.” How does Frankie react, and what do you, Carlos, Kevin, and Rudy say?

Frankie: *fake scoff* Well, I never! 

Carlos: That never works on me though. We all talk shit about interviewers a lot. 

Kevin: I honestly don’t care how you talk about me. 

Me: Doesn’t surprise me to be honest. I trust Bons enough not to talk too badly about me. 

Rudy: ...you realize she was joking right. 

Bons (looks to Kevin): Only partially joking. 

3. Linus has just outed Sean’s reasoning behind reading War Angel fiction, and he hasn’t denied it (continued from number 9). How do you, Bonham, Erik, and Linus respond, and how do you all move forward?

Bonham: While I’m very flattered, Sean. You’re much younger than I am and I don’t like you like that. I see you as a little brother. 

Erik: Ooh you’ve been relegated to little brother. 

Linus: Finally, now that that is taken care of. 

Me: I told you, you couldn’t date Bonham, Sean. It’s almost broken up our band in the past. 

He does move on from Bons. He soon dates a really nice girl named, Kelly. Who he does eventually marry. It actually made him and Bons closer in their friendship and our band closer as a whole. 

4. Your band is getting ready to go onstage one night, but all the dressing room doors look the same. You’re in yours with Kevin, Bonham’s in the one next door, and the rest of the boys are scattered around. You step out to ask Bonham for more eyeliner and see Sean walk in. Bonham screams and says, “Get out!” Sean says sorry, then steps out, but he looks dazed. Kevin follows you out, and asks him, “Everything okay?” He looks past you and right at Kevin and says in a small voice, “…her rack. She wasn’t dressed yet.” How do you and Kevin respond, and what does Bonham say when you go to get more makeup?

Kevin: Dude, you seriously went in her dressing room?

Sean: It was an accident! I didn’t mean to. It’s not labeled and I thought it was mine and...

Me: Whoa, whoa, whoa. It’s ok it was an accident. Just apologize to her when she comes out and don’t do it again ok?

I slip into her dressing room and she says, “I can’t believe he just popped in here like that. It’s like Daryl watching me shower all over again. 

I explain to her it was an accident and he didn’t mean to and he felt bad about walking in on her. 

5. Bonham’s been learning to play the guitar and she’s got a special way of going about playing it. One day, she’s doing this while playing when Kevin comes in and says, “You sound like an unbelievable douche.” She sings the last bit of this (after Brian comes in. In this situation Stewie is Bonham and Brian is Kevin). How does Kevin respond and what do you say?

Kevin: You’re incredibly annoying. 

I have gotten good at tuning out their arguments so I’m not really paying attention. 

6. You’re hanging out with Kevin and Bonham one day when Erik comes in and says, “I have a boss question for you. Someone called my phone and said that you and Bonham are up for awards and asks if you accept.” “What are they?” you ask. “Yours is Best Female Lead and Bonham’s is “Sexiest female backup musician.” She just looks up from the chips she is eating and says, “You should call them back and tell them I think they fucked up with mine.” before stuffing another handful in her mouth. Technically, you have the authority to make the executive decision. Do you accept your nomination? Do you say that Bonham accepts hers? Do you win? How does Kevin respond?

I accept my nomination and tell them that Bons accepts hers and I don’t win my award but Bons wins hers. 

Kevin: See, if you hadn’t accepted you wouldn’t have won. 

7. Kevin and Bonham are arguing one day about video game history. Bonham googles their question and is proved right. “Hah! I told you! I may be dumb, but I’m not stupid.” She says. How do you and Kevin respond?

Me: You are not dumb or stupid and don’t say that. 

Kevin grumbles about being proved wrong. 

8. You come home one day and you hear a weird thumping coming from upstairs. You go to investigate, and it’s coming from Sean’s bedroom. You open the door to see what it is and you find him and Bonham in the middle of doing the act, even after you deliberately said no. How do they react once they know you’re there and what do you do?

I scream seriously?! And then both jump but I soon realized that they’re both really, really, really drunk so I tell them to knock to the fuck off and once they’re sober we have a band meeting about how to go about this. 

9. Some time has passed since War Angel has retired. You’re all in your fifties, and can’t keep up like you used to. You’re content with life, but Kevin isn’t. Even though he and Frankie are the only ones left of QR, they’re making a new album and calling it Rehab.You’re happy for him, but Bonham is skeptical. “He should quit it soon, he can’t keep up the way he’s going. The best things come to an end. That’s why you never see a classic with a sequel.” What do you think of this attitude, what does Kevin think?

I agree with her and I keep a close eye on Kevin. He’s no longer doing drugs (thank god) but he should take it easy he should enjoy his grandkids while he still has the time to. 

10. Bonham comes to yours and Kevin’s house one day super excitedly. She’s barely made it in the door before she squeals, “I’ve been invited to be the clarinettist for the new Dragon Quest game! And guess what else! They want you two to be the male and female chorus leads! Isn’t it great?” How do you two respond? Do you accept? How does it turn out?

We both say we’re love to and the game turns out great. The three of us have a lot of fun. 

11. Your band and QR are hanging out one night, and at one point the subject of fetishes comes up. Frankie goes into detail about all the fucked up stuff he’s into, and at the end, you’re all in a bit of stunned silence. Bonham finally says, “I’m sure we’ve all already realized this, but Frankie is one fetish away from being a serial killer.” How do you, your band, and QR respond?

Me: No, Son of Sam was a bit crazier and John Wayne Gracy had an unsettling fetish. So did H. H. Holmes and he was insane. Zodiac killer I have no idea. So Frankie isn’t close to a serial killer. 

Erik: How the fuck do you know all that?!

Carlos: Yeah, man that's freaky. 

Rudy: We had to do a project on it in highschool. 

Sean: what high school did you go to?

Linus doesn’t say anything but nods.

Your singer grabs his arm and goes, “If you think you’re going to rehide YOUR stash don’t bother I already flushed it all. You’re another matter. I will not be having my kids dealing with a constantly strung out father. You’re quitting cold turkey and I’m taking you to a rehab center today. You're in your fucking thirties, you have three kids who want to have their father for a long, long time.” Kevin glares at her and goes, “I’m not going to rehab. I’m fine and have it in control.” “Oh, is that why I had to rush you to the hospital last week because of a cocaine overdose? Just so you know our kids were terrified. They kept asking if they’d have to say goodbye to Daddy.” Kevin pulls his arm out of her grasp, “I don’t need to go to fucking rehab.” Your singer glares at him and you can see the tears sliding down her cheeks, “I honestly don’t care what you do anymore, Kevin. I love you with all my heart. You’re my soulmate but apparently, I and our kids aren’t enough to outweigh the sweet release of a high. But just know, you’re pushing everyone you love away. Go get yourself some help.” She heads upstairs and you hear her and Kevin’s door slam. What does Kevin say after she leaves and how do you and Sean respond? Do you go check on your singer?

2) It’s your birthday and Kevin was in charge of the cake. (Why your singer put him on that you have no idea, But she later regrets it.) He won’t let anyone see your cake until it’s time to eat it. He puts the candles on it and brings it out to you at the table. When he places it in front of you it reads, “Happy fucking  birthday, you fucker.” How do you, your singer, Rudy, Danny, and Arin respond?

3) Your singer broke up with Kevin over his drug use and has been dating different guys ever since. One day, she comes to your and Rudy’s house while Kevin is there with Tom Keifer. They run into each other at the door and your singer goes, “Oh...Kevin. This is my boyfriend, Tom. Tom, this is...Kevin.” Kevin shakes his hand and looks him up and down before saying, “Hello, fucker. Thanks for taking my girlfriend.” How does Tom respond and what do you, your singer, and Rudy say?

4) Your singer takes you, Kevin, her friend, Mick, and Rudy out for sushi. You’re all ordering and Mick orders something that’s not sushi but your singer doesn’t say anything. When the waiter leaves, Kevin goes, “Why does he not have to try sushi?” Your singer looks at Kevin and goes, “Because he tried it already when I took him out for food before I met you and he doesn’t like it that’s why.” How do you, Kevin, and Rudy respond?

5) You're with Crüe and Tommy is sitting on the hood of his car. Your singer has had a bit to drink so she’s a bit drunk. Tommy goes to you, Nikki, and your singer, “Come sit on my lap.” You look at him and go, “Not in this fucking lifetime.” Nikki is too busy making out with another girl but your singer goes, “Ok.” She sits on Tommy’s lap and the next thing you know, they’re heavily making out. She soon gets up and goes, “I’ll be waiting for you later.” Tommy didn’t expect that at all. How does Tommy respond and what do you, Nikki, Vince, and Mick say?  

6) Your singer and Kevin’s wedding is getting nearer and Kevin still hasn’t gone tux shopping. One day he’s talking to you and Randy and he says, “Maybe I’ll just get married in that suit I own. I don’t want to go tux shopping.” Your singer’s head pops into the kitchen and she says, “I swear if you get married in that god awful pink suit. I’m divorcing you.” How do you, Kevin, and Randy respond?

7) You and your singer come back to her and Kevin’s house one day to find a stuffed lobster in the bathroom holding a platter full of pads and tampons. (I have a picture of it somewhere.) Your singer calls out to Kevin and goes, “What’s in the bathroom?” Randy and Kevin come to the doorway and Kevin goes, “That’s a menstruation crustacean station.” Your singer blinks and then rolls her eyes. What does she say and how do you, Kevin, and Randy respond?

8) You and your singer are in an interview with Tommy and Nikki about your upcoming joint tour when the interviewer says to your singer, “You curse a lot. You do realize that’s not ladylike, right?”  Your singer leans back and goes, “I know it’s not ladylike. Good thing I’m not a lady.” How do you, Nikki, Tommy, and the interviewer respond?

9) You and your singer are on the set of a QR music video. Kevin comes over to the two of you and goes, “So what do you think?” Your singer looks at him and goes, “Kevin, your wig looks very fake.” He steps back a bit and goes, “What?! I’m not wearing a wig. Give me my son please.” Your singer hands over nine-month-old Mal and Kevin is talking to him. Before you know it, Mal has pulled the wig off of Kevin’s head. How do you, your singer, Rudy, and Carlos respond?

10) Kevin comes to bring you and your singer lunch while your recording with Crüe. He comes in wearing this really feminine scarf. Tommy comes up to him and goes, “Nice scarf, Kevin. Really brings out your femininity.” Kevin glares at him and goes, “Shut up.” How does Tommy respond and what do you, your singer, Nikki, Vince, and Mick say?

11) You're still in the interview with Tommy and Nikki and the interviewer keeps digging at your singer and being an ass towards her. She makes a comment about her dating Kevin and about how he’s an idiot and just really nasty things about him. Your singer stands up after that and goes, “Ok, I am officially done with your attitude and how you’re treating me. I don’t appreciate it and I don’t have to stomach it anymore. So fuck you,” She flips the interviewer the bird, “Good night.” She walks off the set and you hear the stage door slam. How do you, Nikki, and Tommy respond what does the interviewer say?

12) Your group therapy sessions with Sean are still very strained and he constantly makes comments about your singer, “Well if that bitch didn’t put me in here we wouldn’t have a problem.” You go off on him every time he calls your singer a bitch but she doesn’t say anything. One day he says it again and she looks at him, “You know, Sean. No matter how much you don’t want to admit it, you’ve very reliant on me. You live with me and the reason I sent you into rehab after your six-month coke habit was because it was becoming an addiction. And my kids look up to you as an uncle. You’re like a little brother to all of us. We love you. And I refuse to have my kids grow up with a strung out father and uncle. Because that’s what the both of you are. And Eddie and Roxanne may be too young to pick up on it just yet, but Mal is already picking up on it. Every time I leave the house to visit you and Kevin in rehab I get, “you’re going to see dad and uncle Sean again aren’t you?” and it breaks my heart because he knows the both of you have a disease and are sick and yet the two of you can’t pull your heads out of your asses to see how it’s affecting your loved ones. And that’s just sad.” How does Sean respond and what do you, Kevin, Erik and Linus say?
