May I have your attention please? Would the real DSMP protagonist please stand up? I repeat, would the real DSMP protagonist please stand up?
We’re gonna have a problem here-
Ya’ll act like ya never seen a ctommy before, jaws all on the floor, like Wilbur when cPhil walked through the door, started looking him up, sadly of course, eyes had remorse, didn’t want to use deadly force (but he did!) 🤣
It’s the return of the-“aw wait no way, you’re kidding. He didn’t just say what I think he did, did he? And ccdream said…” nothing you idiot ccdream’s dead he’s locked in my basement 😈
Feminist women love tommyinnit, “chicka chicka chicka c!tommy, I’m sick of him 😒 look at him, walking around, grabin his discs so tight, flipping off dream on sight,” yeah he’s so cute, right? 🥰 yeah probably got a couple of screws up in my head loose, but no worse than what’s going on in lore streams with ranboo, sometimes, I just wanna hop on tumblr and just let loose, but I can’t, but it’s cool for cSam to kill cRanboo 💀
ctommy’s on your screen, ctommys on your screen, and it’ll stay that way for a time slot that’s just obscene, cause everyone has gotta know ‘exactly what I mean, when I be sayin he’s the littlest guy I’ve ever seen ❤️
Of course you gotta know about the lore streams, about all the insane scenes, where he would put the big T in acTing-we ain’t nothing but bloggers, well some of us wrongers, posting takes cold just like Antarctica 🥶
But if people with the IQ low be makin posts bout whether not it’s moral to be cheering during a torture show and you feel like I feel I feel? I got the antidote, some discourse we’ll help promote, sing the chorus AND IT GOES-
It’s ctommy yeah he’s the real Tommy all you other ctommy’s should try to stop balling 😭, so won’t the main character please stand up? Please stand up? Please stand up? ⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️
‘Cause it’s ctommy yeah he’s the real Tommy all you other ctommy’s should try to stop balling 😭, so won’t the main character please stand up? Please stand up? Please stand up?⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️

New Face: Joining the dots on Psy's Discography
Tumblr media
Psy and Suga's That That is included in my Spotify streaming list for Jimin's new collaboration and as I listened to it again over the weekend I was reminded of when I first heard Gangman Style back in July 2012. It was the hit of the summer and played at every children's birthday and pool party that year.
Tumblr media
No other Psy track has been so successful and in an interview last year Psy marked it as a career high point. In the same interview Yoongi is quoted as saying, ""With 'Gangnam Style' he paved the way for K-pop in the US, that we were able to follow his footsteps with ease". His role in accelerating the Korean wave is undeniable so much so that when I went to the Hallyu exhibition at the V&A a few weeks ago, Psy singing Gangman Style this was the first thing everyone saw as they walked in.
Tumblr media
But what I wanted to talk about here was my introduction to one of his other songs, New Face. It was during lockdown and I was binge watching one kdrama after another. I was digging into the career of Lee Jong Suk and checking out videos on You Tube. I came across this video of him dancing to New Face which is totally adorable.
youtube
Then when I discovered BTS, I saw V and Suga doing this totally chaotic and not terribly tuneful karaoke version of the song much to the bemusement of the rest of the members.
youtube
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, watching back episodes of Knowing Bros, I saw Cha Eun Woo (JK and Jimin's mate) and his Gangman Beauty co-star Im Soo Hyang doing the dance on the show.
youtube
By now I understood that this was a South Korean viral trend but would you believe it wasn't until last week that I actually got round to watching the original video. Psy is a real showman. So many characters in just one video and always this satirical/comic tone. Son Naeun from Apink also makes a big impression.
youtube
Tumblr media
As a side note, the video seems to have been filmed at the same Venetian style shopping centre where Hobi filmed last year's birthday message for V.

FLUFF
since baekhyun knows how to make scented candles, he creates one for you as a birthday present with your favorite fragrances.
every entry in mark’s diary involves fond thoughts about you.
taemin kisses you more than his cat kkoongie on a daily basis so let that sink in. his smooch obsession is getting out of hand.
lucas, having giant fingers after all, learns how to knit in order to make you a warm scarf. he’s still a bit clumsy with it and had to call kun for advice, but the result is surprisingly proper and quickly becomes your favorite item. it’s a little huge but well, he thinks in his dimensions. lucas’ next project is a beanie.
ten overwhelms you with pet names. in fact, he seemingly seems to come up with a new one each day.
kai is a candlelight dinner, rose petals and music kinda guy. he does every old-school thing in the book.
taeyong can cuddle endlessly in bed. he just doesn’t wanna leave.
lucas gladly shares his sweaters. they’re ginormous so, perfect cuddle material.
baekhyun is already a fool. so — when he falls in love, he becomes an even bigger fool. or, the contrary happens: he becomes dead silent around his partner because he’s so enthralled. he can take this more seriously than you think.
mark likes to write little cards and many many texts to express his love.
lucas is the type who can help you put on your jeans when they were shrinking a bit too much in the dryer. he’s pretty sexy like that and things can get really touchy.
cheesy fucking kai, and there’s only one guy who would do this, has actually lowered himself over a puddle once so you would have a bridge. brushed it off like a daily workout rep.
not one shower missed without baekhyun joining you. yes, it’s not always sexy time, he likes it when you shampoo his hair and whisper sweet nothings. and obviously: it’ll all devolve to a laughing fit.
taeyong is the type who wants to be proposed to.
taemin will get a motorcycle license and take you for a frequent ride. he loves getting those kind of back hugs.
both ten and lucas are great at making bracelets. wayv’s dorm is fully equipped with charms, strings, and pearls, so expect matching ones for you.
we’ve seen it, that one’s his favorite move. kai wraps his hand around your shoulder when you walk together.
mark will ALWAYS share his melon.
making you swoon on a DVD evening is lucas’ favorite hobby. he will buy you the most sugary-sweet romance movies. he will often browse streaming sites to select the latest sentimental plots. all these dramas seem to have a male lead who is suspiciously tall and lanky.
if you allow him, taeyong customizes your white tees with his cute drawings.
since taemin swims in money thanks to his profession as the god of kpop (yes, this is a registered job name because i say so), he can fulfill you any wish. he’s stingy and pouty when the shinee hyungs can pay, and the motherfucker baekhyun is even richer since his albums have been taking off so he opens his mochi wallet when superm is gathered, but you... are a different case. taemin will humbly empty his entire pockets when he overhears you gushing over something. there’s a voice in his mind going: must splurge!!
mark loves christmas, you establish an annual tradition to stage a whole couple evening.
baekhyun likes to play charades and especially do karaoke with you. he’s always cutely wiggling his butt and dances like a drunk uncle. he hits the high notes anyway and makes sure you score 100 points.
taeyong can make out with you while at the same time making sure that the milk doesn’t get burned on the stove. kiss’n’stirr multitask tyong alert. gotta make sure the cocoa is served in time, you know.
all the members enjoy playing board games. yep, imagine the fun and sheer chaos.
lucas has the funniest laugh ever indeed. he’ll react to all your jokes, no matter how lame they might be. intensely reassuring.
taemin’s hand is basically glued to yours.
taeyong and mark are the kinds of boyfriends that spoil their partner with skincare. fancy a nice face massage with a nice fragrant oil?
baekhyun has been baking heart-shaped pizzas ever since you started dating. he just can’t make them round anymore.
mark will join you on anything you’re currently bingewatching.
kai sometimes — only half-jokingly — goes down on both knees bowing forward with his hands on the ground just to show how much he wants to thank you. in case you didn’t notice: this guy treats you like a deity.
ten usually gets confused glances from the other members whenever he gets the current date wrong: he simply loses track of time with you.
lucas makes a habit of buying you flowers every other week. but on unpredictable occasions, and he arranges them in places you’d never expect.
taemin will build you a weird-looking snowman to make you laugh, and give it an even stranger name. ten will build one that looks like you. kai doesn’t build snowmen, he just stands there challenging you to throw snow balls at him.
mark will hang out with you at the beach constantly bringing his guitar. he’ll serenade you all the time.
returning from three months of touring, baekhyun has once climbed your balcony when your parents were in the other room. yep, he was that desperate to see you. somebody give this man a rope and helmet.
taeyong writes down heartfelt confessions on 365 folded slips of paper so you can open one every day. your reactions will range from ‘awwh!’ to straight-up tears.
ten does regular couple yoga with you. a mildly challenging form, not the circus acrobat version. he’ll do the difficult parts anyway. you can pretzel this guy up, he’ll do anything to make you laugh.
when it rains you hook your arm around his, and lucas always holds the umbrella. even the wildest gush of wind can’t make it turn inside out. you arrive home entirely dry. xuxi is so cute, he’s also a great source of cooling shadow in the summer without even trying.
taemin’s skinship overdrive doesn’t stop with endless hand-holding, back hugs and kisses. he wants to lay down in your lap whenever he can. he looks damn pretty with his hair splaying there. if you work on your laptop, you can pretty much count to ten and he’s already nestled there.
kai does pushups with you on his back. it’s a staple. each time he does one, he says ‘i love you’. he increases his count every day.
NSFW
it’s no secret that taeyong is great at acting or pulling off any outfit and costume. expect roleplay of the finest kind — literally. he looks good in a firefighter uniform. you’ll be burning up pretty much automatically.
taemin can’t keep his tongue in. it’s terrible. he’s always in the mood for head. his sloppy noises are the absolute worst, it turns you on way too fast.
lucas had some major problems finding condoms that fit him.
ten and taemin are so switchy, they have an unresolved power struggle going on. begs for a dominant third party to help them out.
kai owns expensive latex gear.
baekhyun may be the king of vocals and breath technique, but if you push him far enough he does get hoarse.
taemin often jokes how kai will one day break his dick from fucking too hard.
meanwhile, mark’s dick is already falling off – from fucking too often. this guy has some major hormones going for him. no surprise, a guy who can promote in four kpop groups at the same time is a stamina king.
taeyong likes eating pussy with another party involved. three’s a crowd my friend. sometimes it’s taemin who unleashes his spit waterfall power, sometimes it’s baekhyun who preoccupies himself with nibbling at the inner thigh while taeyong digs in.
taemin owns the most underwear.
mark takes valerian drops because he is so nervous in bed. it never really goes away, it’s his nature.
taeyong keeps a lube collection. a different flavor for all occasions. he likes associating certain scents with specific body parts.
kai has a heels kink. he literally goes wild over it.
taemin likes to have sex with favorite glasses on.
taeyong and kai are the most likely to cry during sex. baekhyun as well if you rough him up enough.
mark gets rock hard the fastest, followed by kai. he’s a grower.
taeyong gets the best inspiration for a song when he gets a casual dick riding.
taemin watches extremely x-rated erotic thrillers and bdsm flicks that are heavy on the plot. he gets more invested in the characters and actors than you think. since his japanese is amazing? of course he also owns a giant 90s hentai collection.
when he’s jerking off, baekhyun chokes himself. a) because he’d make too much noise otherwise and b) because asphyxiation is his favorite thing.
kai feels pleasure in his every cell. he cums the hardest. and, as you can expect, his body expresses it the most extremely, accurately, passionately. if you’ve seen it even once, you’ll never look at him the same again.
taemin has less experience than his discography claims, but more than you’d think. he researches sexual techniques as well. you can brace yourself.
mark has not just a tiger inside, but a freak inside, waiting to be unleashed.
sex while gaming is a go-to activity for baekhyun.
lucas has the best stamina when it comes to getting head.
taemin throws his head back during sex. and no, he doesn’t T-pose. i’m kidding — of course he does. but only when he’s on his back.
taeyong tends to grip a pillow when he cums.
or he humps one when he’s by himself.
ten has the best taste in sexy time playlists.
baekhyun has the best taste in singing his own playlist along.
oh, the things kai has bought at a gas station at 3AM.
baekhyun sucks strap the best. he can open his mouth the widest, drools a lot, and makes the best noises unsurprisingly.
how to turn on lee taemin? he likes getting slapped.
since he’s the most avid and most diverse eater, lucas’ sperm tastes the best. he’s shove 50 fruits into his system just to give you a sweet experience.
mark is absolutely a starfish.
kai wears fishnet tops if you fancy it.
curiously, baekhyun out of all people doesn’t announce when he’s cumming. you’ll hear it, though.
taeyong’s dildo collection is one for the books.
taemin has visited a pro dominatrix a couple times. needless to say, he was the #1 favorite client at the dungeon. having fully submerged into a fantasy world, taemin was one whip crack away from falling in love with the mistress. but then covid happened and the venue closed.
mark’s dick looks really pretty.
taemin can grind on the strap at every humanly possible angle. he’s almost always ready to take it. he carries a prep kit.
kai — that fucker — knows how to make you wet the most with his bare hands. prepare for the thigh ride of your life, too.
taeyong, baekhyun, and taemin have the best arches. kai is coming for the top three as well. ten’s arch is so good, it can’t be considered one anymore.
baekhyun knows every adult movie out there. theoretically, nothing can shock him. in reality, he melts in your hands.
taeyong is so sexually active with you, he has quit eating garlic.
kai will exploit your muscle kink in any way he can.
taemin, being a devil, has that one button on his phone that he can press when you go out for dinner. he’s OBSESSED with getting you off. once you head home, it’s basically running down your thighs.
ten has once opened a condom with scissors to scare away a date that grew weird on him by the time it got to the do.
lucas is too tall for doing missionary normally.
this will surprise nobody: mark is great at constantly keeping up the dirty talk.
baekhyun’s car is sort of like a brothel on wheels. he can’t count how many times he got down and dirty in there. he cleans it all up by himself.
kai can technically grip you the hardest but he’s the gentlest and great at caressing the whole body.
taemin has the easiest time saying what precisely he wants. he is also the best people reader — most your wishes he can pretty intuit. taemin observes your interests well.
ten likes his hair pulled and makes angelic noises when you do so.
baekhyun likes camgirls and erotic chats with strangers online. he spends a lot of money for nsfw internet encounters.

THE AARONS 2020 - Best TV Show
It was prime time for TV in 2020, with many more free hours to fill. I managed to get through a lot of my backlog in fact, finally getting around to watching shows like The Strain. It’s a show about a deadly disease that tears society apart because a lot of arrogant people think they are exempt from quarantining. The disease turns people into vampires, so it’s technically escapism. Here are the Aarons for Best TV Show:
Tumblr media
#10. The Plot Against America (Miniseries) - HBO
Tumblr media
It’s not TV, it’s not HBO, it’s real life. The Wire-creator David Simon’s penchant for illustrating the human fallout of institutional failures made him a perfect collaborator for HBO’s Plot Against America, an adaptation of Phillip Roth’s alternate-history novel. Following a Jewish family in New Jersey navigating the increasingly-fascist America of a hypothetical Charles Lindbergh administration, the show is a terrifying warning of what happens when hatred and conspiracy theories are allowed to accumulate political force. Notably, while the book ends with history back on the right track, the closing moments here are left ambiguous. The show was a limited series, but in many ways, The Plot Against America is ongoing.
Tumblr media
#9. Mrs. America (Miniseries) - FX
Tumblr media
Its interests are married to The Plot Against America, but Mrs. America traces the country’s rising extremism from a more historically accurate perspective. The miniseries centers on political activists in the 1970s on opposing sides of the proposed Equal Rights Amendment, but its dialogue isn’t a strict dichotomy. The episodic format is expertly utilized to build out intersectional ideas from the likes of Rose Byrne’s Gloria Steinem, Uzo Aduba’s Shirley Crisholm, and Margo Martindale’s Bella Abzug, detailing the difficulties in building a diverse coalition, and the dangers of a single-minded one. Drawing parallels to current debates, its compelling centerpiece is how conservative Phylis Shafley (Cate Blanchett) successfully defeats the Amendment; voting against your own self-interests, Mrs. America says, is as American as apple pie.
Tumblr media
#8. The Outsider (Miniseries) - HBO
Tumblr media
Societal collapse comes from within in the two shows mentioned above, but the threat in HBO’s adaptation of Stephen King’s 2018 novel is decidedly an “other.” King clearly had his mind on modern manipulations of truth when crafting the ingenious premise: a man is arrested for the murder of two young boys due to irrefutable DNA evidence, only to provide an air-tight alibi for the crime. To match King’s procedural prose, HBO brought on The Night Of’s David Price, who layers the original work with meticulous mysteries. The Outsider has all the pulpy jolts expected of the author, but the show’s true horror lies in its overbearing grief, best brought to life by Ben Mendelsohn’s Detective Anderson. To say more would be to spoil its secrets; you’ll want to be on the inside.
Tumblr media
#7. Perry Mason (Season 1) - HBO
Tumblr media
Just like the famous fictional attorney, HBO can’t seem to lose, with Perry Mason marking its third entry on this list. The reimagining of the long running court drama actually takes place before the character’s illustrious law career; here he’s a down-on-his-luck private eye caught up in a scandalous child kidnapping case. The result’s a gangbusters production of old-fashioned moody noir: political corruption, femme fatales, and a more morally-complicated Mason, as played by The Americans’ Matthew Rhys. The lavish period details and character-actor cast, including Shea Whigham, John Lithgow, and Tatiana Maslany, will help draw viewers in, but, I’ll confess, I was already hooked by the season’s chilling opening moments.
Tumblr media
#6. Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (Season 1) - NBC
Tumblr media
Dour seasons have dominated this list thus far, but Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist sings a different tune. It’s a lovably oddball premise: an accident during an MRI causes a young woman, played by Jane Levy, to hear other people’s thoughts in the form of popular music. It’s all karaoke, but, emphasized by the presence of Skylar Astin, a worthy inheritor to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s musical-comedy crown. The tracklist, workplace antics, and love-triangle drama all exist in a comfortingly familiar network TV realm, but the show takes additional steps for inclusion with stories highlighting Zoey’s genderfluid neighbor (Alex Newell) and an American Sign Language performance of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” During a year in need of shuffling off stress, there was no better time to queue up Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
Tumblr media
#5. What We Do in The Shadows (Season 2) - FX
Tumblr media
FX’s expansion of the mockumentary feature film of the same name lit up some of the darker corners of its universe in the show’s second season, transforming mundane-seeming material into something completely, uniquely batty. Each creature of Shadows took their turn in the spotlight this season, from a middle-management promotion gifting energy-vampire Colin Robinson unlimited supernatural power, to undead Nadja befriending a doll possessed by her own ghost, to Matt Berry’s Lazlo forging a small-town persona as a bartender/volleyball coach to escape a vengeful Mark Hamill. As always, it was the sympathetic Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), a Van Helsing descendent desperate to become a vampire, who gave the show its emotional stakes, and the vampires within a different kind altogether.
Tumblr media
#4. Stargirl (Season 1) - DC Universe
Tumblr media
Shadows was lit, but few things burned brighter this year than Stargirl (perhaps too brightly for the flamed-out DC Universe). The superhero drama is one of several that will outlive its original streaming service - fitting, given its obsession with legacy. Based on a character created by DC Comics stalwart Geoff Johns after the tragic loss of his sister, the show finds a young girl taking on the mantle of a fallen hero after moving to a town run in secret by supervillains. With sprightly fight choreography and an unabashed embrace of its comic book lore, Stargirl outshines the overabundance of small-screen superheroes out there. Its highlight is the bright performance of lead Brec Bassinger; put simply, she’s a star, girl.
Tumblr media
#3. BoJack Horseman (Season 6b) - Netflix
Tumblr media
Throughout its run, BoJack Horseman garnered acclaim for routinely delivering unexpected pathos, and the final season kept it on that track until the end. ...Get it, because horses run on tracks? The unexpected porter of television’s legacy of antiheroes ended in much the same vein as its sister shows - with consequences finally catching up with its protagonist. No amount of fanciful animal puns could soften that painful catharsis, as the show finally trampled its tricky web of abuse through bittersweet means. The series closed out with an especially thoughtful scene, the kind viewers who looked past the wonky pilot years ago were regularly blessed with; to the very end, BoJack, you were a gift, horse.
Tumblr media
#2. Better Call Saul (Season 5) - AMC
Tumblr media
As good as Bad ever was and better than ever before, the fifth season of AMC’s spin-off completely upended the world of its eponymous lawyer while bringing Vince Gilligan’s universe one step away from full-circle. Saul Goodman found himself in way over his head, and viewers found themselves way on the edge of their seats, as his first foray into “criminal” lawyering swiftly dovetailed with an escalating drug war. Despite the emotional distress of watching fan-favorite character Kim Wexler placed in perilous situations, there are no objections to be had with the drama’s continued masterful storytelling. Ramping up the slow-burn storytelling, season five saw Kim and Saul’s relationship develop in rich and unexpected ways, while still keeping their final fates unresolved. Fans are thus waiting with bated breath for the show’s final call next year.
Tumblr media
#1. The Great (Season 1) - Hulu
Tumblr media
Who could be the best but The Great? There was a minor television controversy this year over Netflix marketing The Crown as a historical drama despite its fictional interpretation of events; The Great has no such pretentions. An asterix adorns every title card of the show, letting viewers know that its take on Catherine the Great’s coup against Emperor Peter III of Russia is only “an occasionally true story.” The show indeed is not great for education, but it’s the most entertaining television of the year, locking stars Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult in a battle of wits and a fight for the country’s soul under the watch of The Favourite co-writer Tony McNamara. The uproarious comedy slyly collates leadership based in cruelty with leadership based in goodwill in the background of its quite bawdy escapades, a subtle bit of relevant political maneuvering that lets it successfully claim the crown this year.

So what are your top 5 favorite BTS songs and then top 5 favorite BTS videos?
Then what are you top 5 favorite Jikook moments? Lol Haaaard questions
Gonna combine these two cause I think these are from the same anonie, who I’m starting to think likes to make people suffer djfhskdh (if it’s not from the same person, then big rip)
Sorry this took so long, I was really trying to narrow it down to top 5 and I think I still ended up failing... I actually do this with my friends but usually, we’re a little bit more generous by narrowing it down to stuff like: top 5 title tracks, top 5 rap-line, top 5 vocal line, top 5 albums, etc... Asking me top 5 songs from their entire discography is absolutely savage.
For my top 5 BTS songs (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER BECAUSE I BARELY NARROWED IT DOWN TO FIVE, YOU CANT MAKE ME RANK THEM):
Blood Sweat & Tears: the monarch, the goat, putting it simply, the absolute best. I honestly remember when the Wings short films started dropping, my friend and I panicked HARD because we were like “WTF IS GOING ON WHAT IS THIS”. And then the teaser dropped, and it was so different from the “typical” BTS we’ve been getting, so we were even more confused. But then... The MV dropped and that was honestly just such a massive turning point for everything. Also, as an ARMY with a Jimin bias, I almost didn’t survive it.
Attack on Bangtan: okay this is honestly just such a fun hype song that never gets old no matter how many times you listen to it? It’s honestly a classic and whenever it plays on Run BTS, I know I’m either about to witness an epic moment or it’s gonna send my ass on the floor from laughing. (Also, let us never forget Tae’s “Nico nico niiii~”)
I Need U: okay this was The song that got me learning all their names and holy shit, I’ve listened to this song so much, it’s currently 5th most played song (out of nearly 2k songs) in my iTunes with 1,338 plays. When one hears “Fall...”, one does not simply resist the urge to belt “EVERYTHANG” with feelings. Also, funnily enough, the one that first caught my eye was Yoongi, there was something so eye-catching about the way he rapped in such a despondent manner at the start of the mv.
House of Cards: I definitely need to put this one because I’ve listened to this song a total of 2,104 times, if you add the Prologue (short) version total (861) to the full length one (1,243). This was my “hoe” anthem long before My Time was born. I deadass fell in love with the song 10 seconds in, there was no saving me and you cannot stop anyone from doing emo bodyrolls when it comes up. Jikook’s bridge? I can’t sing to save my life but you can bet your ass I’m lipsyncing to that shit every single time.
I HATE THIS. I HATE PICKING THE LAST ONE, I WANT TO FIT THEIR ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY INTO THIS LAST SPOT FFFFFFF.
And now, the last one... can I cheat and throw Euphoria, Serendipity and Seesaw all at my 5th spot? Cause I REALLY can’t pick one out of these 3 skjdhfkshdkf I have such an emotional attachment to Serendipity and Euphoria at this point (DJ Swivel remix of Euphoria? Hello?? I almost cried??? You are me, I am you?? HMMM????), and Seesaw just really surprised me. I absolutely was not expecting it, but holy shit, Seesaw slapped and it slapped hard. At this point, I’m like, anything Yoongi touches turns to absolute gold, I can’t resist him.
Okay I have so many other faves (Spring Day, Baepsae, etc.) but since you only asked for top 5 and not, like, top 100, I have to stop myself here, but I also very curious about your top 5s if you guys wanna share!! Let’s see how well you do, only narrowing it down to 5.
For my top 5 BTS videos (I only counted Bangtan Bombs and live performances, excluding MVs, since you didn’t specify. Otherwise there are too many... just thinking about how many Run BTS episodes I could fit otherwise lmfao):
Perfect Man: I’m a Jimin stan. What did you expect, me to not include this masterpiece??
As I Told You: Good lord, Jungkook was so fkn attractive in a hockey jersey of all things. I honestly loved it so much, I can listen to the live audio as is.
2018 MMA - IDOL Intro Performance (3J focus): Again, I am a Jimin stan. But seriously, from Hobi hitting every. single. beat. while dancing on a raised platform, to Jimin’s fan dance (I streamed the show live and I couldn’t focus on anything else after), to JK lounging like the absolute king that he is, what’s not to love?
It’s Tricky Bangtan Bomb: oldie but goldie, honestly. All of them were babies but holy shit, if their casual dancing didn’t absolutely make me fall in love with them all over again. It honestly never gets old no matter how many times I watch it.
BTS Carpool Karaoke: I have to admit, I honestly got stuck picking the last one so I went with this one because I feel like this is a really really good video to introduce others to BTS to. From their amazing acapella vocals (JK belting Finesse lives in my mind rent free) to how they were so perfectly themselves? You had Hobi’s sunshine smile in the middle, Baby Mochi, Jin’s “I don’t know what he said, but let’s laugh ha ha ha ha”, etc.
Okay I have to admit something, I probably forgot like 90% of their videos so if any of you guys mention a video, I might go “AH SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT THAT ONE SKDJFHKSH” so take this list more as a “bangtan videos you should 100% watch” :^)
For my top 5 jikook moments (you absolutely devil, how could you ask me such a question), in no particular order because, again, I actually cannot physically bring myself to rank them:
Jimin comforting a crying JK during LY: (6:05) the way Jimin ran over as soon as he saw Jungkook bent over, facing the backstage. My heart. And he kept JK company for a bit, making sure he was fine before leaving. This whole thing just makes my heart melt into a puddle no matter how many times I think/see about it because it’s like, the timing is just? Anpanman barely started and he just looked over, saw, and ran over. Jesus Christ.
That Jikook moment during SY Seoul Finale: Just how much comfort Jimin must represent for Jungkook to let the dam free once again just seeing his face aghhhhhasgdahj I literally made an entire post about that moment because of how incredibly soft it gets me. I’ve linked it but it’s also my pinned so it’s very easy to find.
“Are you guys dating?”: (start) holy shit okay so this moment is so sdjkfhkdshkfdhks the way both of them were so giggly? It never fails to make me laugh how absolutely done Joon sounded when he said “push quickly!” Also, just how soft did Jimin make his voice when he asked “are you ready”? and how JK, the single most competitive member of BTS, was just giggling the entire time and didn’t even try pushing Jimin before Jimin ended up eliminating himself. Not to mention how JK couldn’t into Jimin’s eyes and only finally made eye contact with at the very end :^)
MMA 2018: lmao okay so I’m just gonna throw this entire fkn night into the mix. I still remember how it was the wee hours in the morning for me when I started following the live stream and damn, they were literally inseparable the entire time. My TL was exploding in Jikook content and between watching them through the official broadcast and watching the fancams, I was BUSY. They did everything: whispering to each other’s ears, slinging their arms around each other’s shoulders, JK massaging JM’s nape, JK pulling JM down to sit... phew.
GCF in Tokyo: Okay so this is one of those things that the more you think about it, the more you can’t believe it’s real. I couldn’t not include this simply because of how meaningful the whole thing was. There’s so much about it that makes me ????? because JK really booked a two-person trip to Tokyo for Jimin’s birthday. And Jimin genuinely had fun on that trip. The whole thing just shows how comfortable the two of them are with each other because they’d never had gone on a trip together elsewise. I recently saw a Korean movie director’s reaction to GCF and the whole thing didn’t have any subs, but the two reactors were like “ohhh... these two... these two must be really close” (they’d reacted to BTS MVs before, but they’re not familiar with how the members are outside of that). From my limited Korean understanding, the movie director then commented “Because the model and the director are so close, it’s very natural” (if I’ve gotten any Korean followers, I’d love to get confirmation on the words said because my Korean understanding isn’t perfect and I don’t want to be spreading crap around). GCF in Tokyo is also the first video posted under the GCF label, with JK editing the whole thing himself. He filmed, he directed, he edited. And his main actor was Jimin.
I was this 👌🏻 close to adding LY lap sitting and Rose Bowl moments but I had other faves to include so I thought I’d go with something else :^) GCF forced its way into my list, I had no say in it.
Okay so I hope this was enough skdjfhkdshfs this post got really long cause I couldn’t help myself from giving reasons for why I included the ones I did, I’m sorry sjkfhdks Please feel free to share you’re own fave songs/videos/jikook moments!!

Lol, welp, since your submission page does say you’re accepting people venting their opinion about something, and other anons you’re getting today have made this topical, I’m going to submit a bit of a frustrated opinion piece to you here- though I totally understand if you don’t want to post it if you think others might take it the wrong way and feel like it’s inciting drama or something.
So bit of a hot take here, but I hold the opinion that Jikookers who insist that the post SY Final emails from TKers/hetshippers about stopping Jikook’s ‘gay performances’ worked, and that Jikook has ‘barely breathed’ and stopped interacting in public since then specifically because Big Hit won’t ‘let’ them because of those complaints, because they’re now trying to suppress their relationship and please Taekookers, are almost as frustrating as the crowd that starts weeping about how Jikook broke up every single time we go a week without a new moment at this point- it’s just two different forms of baseless hysteria grounded in insecurity. There’s a reason TKers have been widely mocked for coming up with conspiracy theories about how BH has turned TK into a tragic, forbidden love that is forced to stay apart, and I just hate seeing so many of us turn around and do the exact same thing the second we miss the boys for a minute. Now, allow to me explain WHY I think this idea is so silly, if I may
I guarantee that Big Hit gets complaints and demands about EVERYTHING related to the boys, that’s just the nature of overseeing literally the biggest band in the world- and yet people truly believe that of all the things they hear about, they caved to the emailed demands of what was most likely not even actually a full 100 people among BTS’s 1mil+ person fan base? You’re giving what was most likely a double digit amount of TKers (whenever anyone tries to bust out a tweet of people complaining about all the Jikook interactions that night that has triple digit likes, as if that’s proof that hundreds upon HUNDREDS of people were emailing Big Hit, I have to roll my eyes; one, a lot of that those likes probably come from people who have multiple accounts, and two, there’s way less energy involved with hitting like on a tweet than composing and sending an email-I would bet you anything that the vast majority of people who did the former never actually followed through with the latter. Not to mention that even if it actually had been a few hundred, which it almost definitely wasn’t, that’s STILL a completely insignificant portion of BTS’s fanbase) entirely too much credit if you think BH started suddenly declaring how and when JM and JK are allowed to interact just because of them; frankly, BH likely gets WAY more nutso emails from people about dumb things like wanting Tae publicly flogged for vaping or wanting JK kicked out of the group for having tattoos than they ever have about shipping matters- I’d be shocked if this particular issue was even a blip on the radar, or ever went beyond the administrative assistant in charge of sorting through fan emails laughing to themself as they deleted the nonsense.
But hey, let’s say the emails DID make it to the higher-ups at Big Hit and they WERE aware of them- thinking they started keeping Jikook apart because of them requires assuming BH places more weight into a few pressed emails than they do the entire sold out stadium being filled with the sound of hysterical, supportive, happy screaming every time Jikook were acting boo’d up that night, and, uh… WHY would you assume that, lol? Even IF BigHit is hypersensitive to how Army responds to specific ships, which I honestly doubt, I promise you any company would care more about the real-time reaction of a 60000 person true random sampling of the band’s fan base than a comparatively TINY amount of emails or tweets that, for all they know, are just being spammed by the same five people with an agenda across different accounts, and that real-time reaction to Jikook from 60000 random fans was extremely positive. Not to mention how Jikook is more popular than Taekook with both K-Army and J-Army, and it’s only I-Army that Taekook has the edge with; why does anyone think Big Hit cares more about a shipping subset of their third biggest market than a shipping subset of their first two biggest markets, if they’re going to care about shipping at all?
Then there’s the issue where I also think it’s kind of insulting to Jimin and Jungkook to suggest they would have even stood for being forcibly distanced to please some pissy Taekook fans, TBH. I’m not saying they get to live their lives as openly as they want 100% of the time, obviously as Idols there are things they make big concessions about, but Jungkook is a man who has been acknowledging since 2014 that a lot of their fans would be very upset with him if he ever got a tattoo, and who then still proceeded to get 20+ of them because that’s what HE wanted, Jimin is a man who saw fans complaining his shirt was too revealing and he should stop wearing it and proceeded to wear that shirt as often as possible throughout the next few weeks to make a point- you think they’d put up a fight like that for tattoos and clothes, but not for the person that we as Jikookers are assuming is their beloved partner? That’s not even getting into Jungkook being so vocal and so brave with gestures like GCF Tokyo and Rose Bowl; I would bet you anything that same man would not sit there quietly and nod along if an executive tried to order him to stop being seen with Jimin and start playing up his friendship with Taehyung for the camera more often, all just so they could please some obnoxious American teenagers.
And finally, and what might be the biggest point to me- the ‘Jikook has been dead since then!’ and ‘Something is clearly off between them since then!’ narratives are SO exaggerated by Jikookers anyway, ones who have lost all perspective about how they haven’t been in public much since November, and they both barely use social media anymore, so ALL content from them drops off dramatically when there’s no tour, no promotions, and no appearances happening. Shippers keep complaining that we’ve had barely any new content in 2020, it’s all been stuff that was filmed in 2019 and just released now, waaah, and I’m just like ‘…uh, yeah, and that’s the case for literally every ship involving Jimin or Jungkook, because the three weeks of album promotion we got are basically all either of them have been seen for this year.’ If they were both constantly around and acting affectionate with other members while visibly icing only each other out, then maybe I could get the conspiracy theories, but I genuinely can’t recall any significant interactions either of them have had with other members outside of the clearly planned and scheduled V-Lives- not that this means the interactions in said V-lives weren’t genuine and cute, for the record! But it’s not like Jungkook was just hanging out at Tae’s apartment and they spontaneously decided to go live- Big Hit clearly had these particular lives mapped out and they’ve essentially been part of the boys’ current work schedule. They’ve both made themselves scarce, period, you can’t get ‘fed’ by people who just straight up aren’t making public appearances or using their social media accounts- and when we HAVE seen them, like in the last two OT7 lives, they’ve very much seemed like their normal selves and have been right by each other’s side, per usual. Also, when you look back on years in your mind as a compilation of significant moments, it makes you forget that even in 2018 and 2019, it wasn’t uncommon to go weeks or months between content; your brain just selectively filters out the time in-between that you spent waiting to remember only the good stuff we got those years, and it makes it feel like it was a constant flood of moments happening all at once; you remember ALL of 2018 and 2019 as their respective best dozen moments, forgetting that there was plenty of time in between even then, and that Jikookers frequently threw embarrassing fits about how they had clearly broken up any time their ‘feeding schedule’ was off for a few weeks even then.
And I mean, the face smushing pictures that have already become a Jikook fandom all time favorite moment were post SYF, the chest groping performance of Home was post SYF, them lovingly smiling while singing The Earth Traveler directly to each other and the behind the scenes clip of them looking just as smitten during the recording was post SYF, the extremely flirty and domestic New Year’s VLive that had Jikook fandom dying was post SYF, the video of them flirting about how long they’ve been a unit was post SYF (not to mention how Big Hit deciding to give them a photobook subunit in the first place, or deciding to include that flirty footage in the album release event stream, were both choices made post SYF), the big Jikook feast that was Winter Package was post SYF (and again, BH didn’t HAVE to include all that Jikook footage, and they DEFINITELY didn’t have to write the very shippy captions that one had- they chose to), Jimin holding Jungkook’s arm in the airport was post SYF, them holding hands while walking off stage at the Japan muster was post SYF, Jungkook calling Jimin cute and sexy during the album release and all of their flirting across the table and hugging and touchiness that same night was post SYF, the V-Live where Jimin was being very affectionate with Jungkook and there was that adorable minute long sequence where you could tell how badly they were fighting the instinct to hold hands was post SYF, Jungkook publicly and proudly losing his mind over Jimin the Black Swan reaction video was post SYF, them choosing to let us see them happily riding home together was post SYF, Jungkook stopping dead in his tracks and abandoning the routine to just lovingly stare at Jimin for two minutes straight during Carpool Karaoke was post SYF, the cuddling and spooning during recent Run BTS episodes was filmed prior to then, but BH’s decision to include the footage and post the photo was post SYF, same with all the season’s greeting Jikook footage, same with BH deciding to make the 5th Muster DVD an all out Jikook holy grail, same with BH having the Speak Yourself Japan behind-the-scenes footage be more Jikook than anything else. If that’s Jikook after supposedly being ordered to stay away from each other or to at least ‘tone down the gay’, and if Big Hit’s idea of pulling back on Jikook means still having the behind the scenes footage on the next 4 paid content DVD releases be LOADED with Jikook and basically revolve around their interactions, then call me crazy, but I think things are gonna be okay

Spoon Interview (Shirai Yusuke)
Please support spoon 2Di !! You might be able to find them on Amazon.jp (international credit cards accepted) and CD Japan. Please show Hypmic that international fans also contribute to the sales!!  This article is from vol. 41.
Shirai Yusuke is the voice actor of Shibuya’s cute idol Amemura Ramuda. How did he perform the cuteness unique to the bubbly Ramuda, or his intriguing duality? We’ll be asking him about all that!
Tumblr media
——How do you feel about the current boom of popularity?
“Until the release, I was still unsure about how well the hip-hop genre would be received, but now that I know a lot of people are listening to it, I’m delighted. I never imagined it would have such a sudden upsurge in popularity.”
——During the nico-nama live stream the other day, you probably directly felt the reaction of the audiences.
“The enthusiasm was just incredible. I felt like we were all enjoying something new together.”
——How did it feel to actually rap freestyle?
“I took up the challenge just like that, but freestyling was difficult (laughs). You have to get your words in rhythm, and keep going at it while rhyming nicely; I really felt the importance of wit, vocabularies, etc. However, it was something that I don’t usually do, so it was refreshing and felt good. If there’s another chance, I want to practice a bit more and take the challenge again no matter what!”
——So in hindsight, how did you feel when you heard about the project of Hypnosis Mic?
“Since I always sing songs of rappers I like at karaoke, a rap project seemed interesting to me. Actually, I auditioned for other characters instead of Ramuda. But then after that, they sent me an offer that said, “please be Amemura Ramuda.” There I saw Ramuda for the first time and was a bit shocked, like, “this cute boy... me?” So I had to go up to my manager and confirm with them if the role of this character was really offered to me (laughs).”
——Ramuda's visual is really cute like a girl (laughs).
“They directed me to make him bubbly and sly like he knows how cute he is.. However, even though his appearance is this cute, he’s still a grown man who’s 24 years old, so it has to be within reasons, as I was told. So I did my best to show as much slyness  as I can. I I have never played any characters look as androgynous as he does, and I think this is my first time playing a main character whose voice is this high-pitched.
——So you really focused on showing the cuteness and slyness while you’re performing as him.
“That’s right. Ramuda himself is also “clever, and understands how others see him [according to the character profiles],” meaning that he makes himself look cute; his slyness probably comes from him trying to act cute. So I thought that if that’s the case, I could pull it off, too. Therefore, when I voice Ramuda, I try to make sure I show a little of that forced cuteness.”
—— In the drama tracks of Fling Posse VS Matenrou, weren’t there parts when you had to also portray his other side?
“When I first voiced Ramuda, I didn’t know about his duality, so I didn’t act with the thought in mind that he had another side. Therefore, I was also shocked by that side of Ramuda!”
——Now that you have performed as him so far, what do you think Ramuda is like?
“He’s just full of mysteries. We still don’t know about his past, and just like how Gentaro was saying in the drama track, Ramuda is "too spotless" and it feels almost like it's all made up. In Fling Posse VS Matenrou, I played “Dark Ramuda.” ...that’s how I called his other side (laughs). Since I don’t know whether that was his true self or his acting, I am looking forward to how it will turn out. What’s more, since he also has connections with Kadenokouji Ichijiku-san (who is a high-ranking official of Chuo-ku), I think he’s going to be the key character of the plot. I am also looking forward to the story’s development.”
——It was really shocking that he was in communication with Ichijiku-san; as his voice actor, how did you feel about this?
“I had so much fun. Finally, I could talk in a comfortable tone (laughs)! Though I had also wondered if I should keep a little bit of his usual cute vibes, I intentionally changed [my voice] to the extent that it sounded like a different person. When people told me how shocked they were to find out about that Ramuda, it made me grin thinking, “I know right” (laughs).
——So what kind of team do you think Fling posse of Shibuya Division is?
“Fling posse started off with Ramuda forcing Gentaro and Dice to join, but taking that into consideration, they’re getting along pretty well. They have bright, pop-like vibes to them. However in the drama tracks of Fling Posse VS Matenrou, Gentaro was also suspicious of Ramuda, so they were both probing into each other and things were turning a bit sour… And then amongst them there is Dice who’s the only one not caring about anything (laughs). That’s why I think thanks to Dice, the team can maintain its balance. His lightheartedness really helps; I think he’s a great guy. Gentaro is a serial liar, Ramuda is full of mysteries, and maybe that’s how Dice’s straightforwardness stands out so much. Even though Dice loves gambling to death, he’s in general a sensible person. For example, he stood up for Gentaro when Hifumi dissed his clothes. When you see how much he treasures his friends, you can really tell that they’re ‘posse’. I am glad to see that their relationships have improved a lot compared to when they first started.”
——What do you think about the relationship between Ramuda and Dice?
“It feels a bit superficial. But since Dice trusts Ramuda, the exchange between the two is generally pleasant.”
——What about Gentaro then?
“Even though he likes saying “it’s a lie,” I think there has to be some truth in there. Anything could be a lie or a truth; it’s fun to ponder on it. Actually, I wonder if Ramuda already saw through what Gentaro was thinking; as I mentioned just now, in this CD’s drama track both Ramuda and Gentaro were figuring each other out. But Ramuda didn’t really let him know much more than what he revealed. However, there are also quite a few mysteries regarding Gentaro. For instance, he was angered by Hifumi’s comment on his vintage outfit, he seems to have all sorts of secrets. Not just Ramuda and Gentaro, everyone seems to have their own past. I really want to know about them soon.”
——What do you think is the strength of all three of them as Shibuya Division?
“Although they seem to have nothing in common, surprisingly they get along. I think their charm lies in their youthful, pop vibes, as well as their positivity.”
——As your opponents in Battle Battle Battle, what kind of team do you think Shinjuku Division is?
“Contrary to Shibuya’s youthfulness, Shinjuku are adults, and they are a team of mature appeal. However, they also surprisingly get along, which is nice. Jakurai-san seems like a loner at first,  and yet he goes fishing with Hifumi. Doppo and Hifumi were friends since they were very little, but I didn’t expect that they’re living together. They’re so close with each other.”
ーー In Jakurai and Ramuda's duet, it has awfully thrilling feelings when you listened to it, is there anything you were conscious of when you perform?
“I try to be offensive and snappy towards Jakurai at full power. Therefore, I exaggerate my expressions, and put extra effort in delivering the taunts. Honestly, I had fun doing that (laughs). They were in a team together in the past, but curiously he seems fine with Ichiro and Samatoki; it was only with Jakurai that he has this antagonism. Ikebukuro and Yokohama, or Ichiro and Samatoki are also hostile towards each other; I really want to know what happened between them.”
——We were only given some intriguing keywords. Like how Samatoki calls Ichiro a “hypocrite”, and that Jakurai mentioned that Rumuda had “done something inhuman”.
“Oh well, what inhuman things have you done, Ramuda…(laughs)”
——For the next part, I would like to know more about the songs. To start with, please tell us was there anything you were particular about or paid attention to while you were recording your solo song Drops?
“Since it’s a solo song, it is the most Ramuda-style song ever. When I recorded the very first drama track, I did the highest voice I could to show Ramuda’s cuteness, so at the song recording I was worried like, “do I have to rap in that tone all the way…!?” (laughs) However, once I found out that the song only had rapping at important parts [and the rest was singing], I remember feeling a bit more relieved (laughs). It’s a stylish and cool song, I like it.”
——While rapping with a cute impression is good, I think the faint, sexy undertone of a 24-year-old man in there was brilliant.
“I'm glad you say so! At the beginning of Ramuda's rap, the feeling of him acting all cute and charged up really was intense, and the pyon pyon part really hit the limit. I sang it like I'd exhausted all my brain cells (laughs). I tried to sing it at karaoke once, but my heart broke in the middle of it (laughs). I had wondered if I would be able to sing this live. Ah, but when this interview gets published, the live will have already taken place! I think it'd be nice if I can sing it well (laughs). However, my feelings of wanting to sing it in front of everyone are strong, so I think it'd be nice if I could sing it happily. Also, Gentaro’s VA, Saito Soma told me that he thinks the lyrics at the chorus -  "if you want to pick it up, do it" are superb! I was like, "ehh, is that so~" (laughs). Other people also told me the same thing, so I thought, "I guess it is~!”
——How about your division song, Shibuya Marble Texture - PCCS- then?
“This song is stylish, isn’t it! When I listened to it for the first time, I was surprised that this type of style can exist in the project, too. So far, all the songs have had either a fast tempo or they have loud and offensive moods to them. A rap with a relaxing tune was really refreshing. Although, Ramuda's voice was high as always (laughs). I think the song suits the evenings, so I listened to it on the way home from work. Because this song is the most recently recorded, I noticed some improvements in my skill after singing a lot of songs before it. At first I was really struggling, but it became more and more enjoyable as I went. Comparing it to the first time and the stage live... It's a bit embarrassing to say (laughs). Anyway, in contrast to the peaceful feeling of this song, the plot twist in the drama track is so...! There is this lyrics verse, "Shouldn't the world be more interesting?" rapped by Ramuda which makes you wonder which the true one is; the Ramuda of those lyrics or the one from the drama part. I think everyone ponders about that.
Since you can feel the bonds of those three in the lyrics "Side by side we watch the sunset", it would be nice if their bond pictured here [in the lyrics] is not a lie. It leaves a lot to the imagination.”
——On Ramuda and Gentaro's part, Dice who shouted their names was impressive, but on the contrary, when Dice got his, Ramuda was all-out with his, "Di~ce!", it was really cute.
“I put my everything in that ‘Dice’ (laughs). That part was originally not included in the song demo, but since Dice's VA, Nozuyama, shouted Ramuda and Gentaro's names, Ramuda decided to do it too when recording, because it’s not in character for Gentaro to do it. Speaking of which, Doppo's VA, Itou Kento, said he always listened to this song during the morning commute and that made me happy. It does get you in the mood if you listen to it when you are traveling!”
——Well then, how about Shibuya and Shinjuku's battle song, BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE?
“I'd say it was a real battle, like up until now, they never attacked each other, I think. In the song, there was a line, “Quit draggin’ someone’s past up to the surface over and over”. In that you could see a glimpse of the “Dark Ramuda”. Since the song was distributed before the CD release, if you listened to the song before the drama track, I think you would have been surprised like, "who was that just now?!" (laughs)
Still, I recorded that part separately, so I wondered how everyone would react when they have heard it. That too made me grin a bit while recording (laughs). Then during the verse which said, “without a promise, I won’t forgive that scenario”, he was already back to the usual Ramuda. But there was still a bit of the manly charm and his dark side left in there while I sang it; so when you listen to it, by all means please pay attention to that part.”
ーーHow was it when you heard the finished song together with rest of two members?
“I like how this song gave off the feeling of passing on a baton to each other while battling, but Gentaro's part was too tricky! I mean, it's difficult even if you were told that you can sing it, it’s just impossible (laughs). I really like that, while dodging Hifumi's diss, he provoked the other side with his last line, "A howling imbecile wouldn’t understand that, though, would he?"; I have been looping it in my head all this time. Also, with Dice going against Doppo, the salaryman, I like the feeling of how he struck a great blow with his last one phrase "I ain’t some collared pet.”
——Ramuda's taunting phrase "I’m disa~ppointed" was also good.
“If you were told something like that, you'd certainly get irritated (laughs). I can see Jakurai’s annoyed expression in my head (laughs).”
——Then, please tell us if you have a favorite character and a character you are interested in.
“It's (Iruma) Juto from Yokohama. Even if he is a policeman, he has this shady feeling, and I think how his manner in speaking holds hidden meanings is also nice. In the drama track, it is said that he even questioned Doppo in the past, but I feel like he changed a lot from his old days. Hifumi's duality is also interesting and how even if he is afraid of women, he works as host.”
——Do you have any favorite song aside from Ramuda's?
“Of course it's Ore Ga Ichiro from Kimura Subaru who plays as Ichiro. How he wrote the lyrics by himself is amazing, and the tune is just right. I thought that this guy is totally a rapper and that it was shown clearly.”
——It will be fun if a The Dirty Dawg song were to be made someday, with Ichiro and the legendary team The Dirty Dawg together.”
“Certainly, that possibility is also there! If the songs increase, there could be various combinations even outside the divisions, and perhaps there would be a rap for Dark Ramuda, too.”
——Hypnosis Mic held a Champagne Tower with everyone (the collab drink with karaoke shop), everyone in the cast gave off the impression that they were enjoying their work.
“That champagne tower party was totally private, and yet everyone gathered to that extent, I think that was amazing. Contents of Hypnosis Mic had been exciting so far and I think that it's really pleasing for a lot of people to accept it because we are having a lot of fun too. After all we got to listen to Hayami Show-san’s rap, right?”
——Right. How did listening to Hayami's rap feel like?
“Really cool! Because Hayami is Jakurai, I thought that as Ramuda I should do my best not to lose.”
——Thank you. Lastly, please give a message to your fans.
“By the time this interview gets published, I think we will have already finished the 2nd Live successfully and that the 3rd Live will be decided in November, too. It's unusual to conduct a live in such a short time span, but I think next time we can have fun with more people, so I'd be happy if you could come and play. I don't know how the story will progress according to the battle results, but I am also looking forward to see how Ramuda will get involved. I also want to work hard to improve my rapping skills, so I'd be happy if you can keep supporting Hypnosis Mic in the future.”

A Tribute to Chester: Life, Death, Rebirth, and How He Lives on in Memory
How do you properly memorialize one of your childhood idols? Are you supposed to scream, cry, and gnash your teeth? Or do you put on noise-canceling headphones and block out the ambient noise of the outside world for a while? All of these are difficult questions to answer. I guess that’s why they’re rhetorical. It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost two years since Chester Bennington passed. So in a way, this simple little essay is how I can honor him. It feels nice to write something that isn’t fiction or related to a blog for a change[1]. Let’s see how it goes.
Part Zero: Notes from the Underground
I must confess that I was never a member of the official fan club, the LP Underground. I suppose in retrospect that’s how I could have proven I was a legit fan despite never seeing them live in concert except via live stream. But even then, that was a rare occasion. I do remember a t-shirt I got from Hot Topic when I was 12 or so – it had the faces of all of the guys gathered around the classic script font of the band’s logo.
I don’t remember what happened to it. The last time I remember wearing it was in August 2014. I supposed by then I had outgrown it. But still, buying whatever merch I could and getting all of the CDs and eagerly anticipating the next music video all had to count for something.  I knew the names of all the guys, even Mark Wakefield, who was never an official member, and Phoenix Orion (Dave Farrell?), who left before Hybrid Theory but was back in time for Reanimation – more on that later.
But I digress. Let’s get on with the real meat of why we’re here. In terms of structure, I thought it would make the most sense to go album by album, discuss some memories I have associated with each, and attempt to unpack why they remain so important to me even as time has marched on since then. Growing up with the band, as I’m sure many of you did, you might feel a similar connection that you never fully grasped until the night of the tribute show in December 2017.
Part One: Hybrid Theory
#Forfeit the game/Before somebody else/takes you out of the frame and puts your name to shame/Cover up your face, you can’t run the race/the pace is too fast, you just won’t last. [HT Track 4: “Points of Authority”]
Although Hybrid Theory came out in October 2000, I think the first time I heard it was for another month or two after it came out. It’s still one of the most vivid memories I can still recall, the first time “Papercut” blared out of a cd player. I was sitting in the basement at my buddy Andre’s house and we were playing Perfect Dark with our mutual friend Alberto. It was honestly the perfect soundtrack for the game. Here’s what I said back then: “Dude, who is this? This is awesome!”
               “It’s Linkin Park.”
Even then I thought the name was cool, the way that they intentional misspelled Lincoln – the rule of cool and all that. Elementary school hadn’t even ended yet, but it was still part of my formative years, musically speaking. Before then, I had never discovered any music on my own – my friends had always shown me. My parents didn’t raise me to enjoy music – I hated classical and most of the “standards” went over my head. My parents were still throwing karaoke parties. My old neighbor John showed me James Brown. That’s how I latched onto my first favorite song of all time “I Feel Good”. Then came Third Eye Blind, another early love of mine. But that’s a story for another time, as is my recollections of Limp Bizkit. This tale is about LP.
I wouldn’t realize it at the time, but Hybrid Theory would continue to be one of the most important albums to be me as I left elementary school and hit middle school. The days of Perfect Dark and WCW/nWo Revenge began to fade[2] as Diablo II and Starcraft emerged. The sound of Chester’s howls and Mike’s swagger along with the rest of the bands driving instrumentals provided a backdrop like you wouldn’t believe.  “In the End” stood out in particular, although as middle school came to an end, it became clear that those reasons weren’t ones I wish to discuss here, now. Ask me again another time. It was at the end of middle school (hell, even before) that I confronted the notion of how deeply uncool I was, and probably tangled with imposter syndrome, anxiety, and depression long before I knew what any of those terms meant.
I already knew I was an introvert who was much more inclined to stay inside playing video games, reading, or writing instead of going outside to play street hockey or anything like that. That shouldn’t have meant that I was an easy target for bullying, but hey, it was the 90s and then the early 2000s, so what could you do? LP helped me cope, even if I couldn’t always express my anger in responsible ways.
I think here is a good place to stop and point something out: mental illness has been something that has been immensely important to me – it affects me and I know it damn sure affects my wife and mother in law. I went through a very dark time in my life roughly five years ago that LP also helped me pull out of – but I’ll get to explaining that more in-depth later on. Right now we’re still in the HT era; I just wanted to talk a little bit more about my motivations for writing this piece.[3]
Part Two: Reanimation
#Keep that in mind/ I designed this rhyme/ when I was obsessed with time. [RA Track 3: “Enth E Nd]
Full disclosure: when I first heard Reanimation, I thought it had its moments. But it wasn’t something I could listen to end-to-end and love every single song. Heck, even HT wasn’t like that, since some of the songs had to grow on me. The video with the robots and aliens having a war while the disembodied robot heads of the band sing the remixed version of “Points of Authority” by Jay Gordon of Orgy was definitely awesome, but I don’t know, I had mixed feelings about the album that took years for it to resolve into me think of it as one of the LP’s early era classics that would culminate with Meteora and Live in Texas.
I have a very distinct memory of popping this cd into the car’s stereo while we were out in…Houston? Taiwan? The details are blurry now because it’s been too long. Seventeen years was a long time ago, and 2002 me was simpler, less refined, and yes, much dumber and naïve. On an emotional level, “p5hng me Aw*y” stood out, and even though it wasn’t actually a true Linkin Park song, “It’s Goin’ Down” stood out from this time period too.
Part Three: Meteora
#I’ll never fight again, and this is how it ends…I don’t know what’s worth fighting, or why I have to scream, but now I have some clarity to show you what I mean… [MA Track 9: “Breaking the Habit”]
Meteora is one of those albums I more clearly associate with Diablo II and Starcraft more than any other games. Just something about the overall darkness and broodiness of the album really fit both of those games. Also, this essay project is making me want to go back in time. Not really from a nostalgia standpoint – okay yeah I guess from a nostalgia standpoint. But it was during this era that I really started to enjoy their music videos. Believe it or not, for the longest time, not all of the songs on the album were rated five stars. I used to be stingier with that rating that I am now. It took a while for some of the songs to grow on me, but “Somewhere I Belong”, “Faint”, “Easier to Run”, “Breaking the Habit”. “Nobody’s Listening”, and “Numb” were instant standouts. I’m still not sure what happened to my original copy of this album. The last I checked, I had a burned copy, but not the real deal.
Part Four: Live in Texas
#When I look into your eyes there’s nothing there to see/nothing but my own mistakes staring back at me# [LIT Track 8: P5hng Me A*wy – Live]
Man, I remember this too. It must have come out six months or so after Meteora did, and grabbing it from Kmart was one of my best days. I think it was also the first LP album to have the dreaded Parental Advisory sticker on it, and this is probably the album I blame most for me disliking the edited versions of songs. Sometimes edits can be clever, but when they’re just bleeps or certain naughty words are blanked out, then it gets annoying. Then again, I probably wasn’t a stranger to this concept thanks to early exposure to Third Eye Blind and Limp Bizkit, as I mentioned before. Was this the first time I heard “live” performances of LP? I think it was, and it probably stoked my eagerness to see them live in concert. Alas, it was never to be.
Part Five: Collision Course
#Yeah/Thank you, thank you, thank you, you’re far too kind#  [CC Track 4: “Numb / Encore”]
It’s fitting that as I pick this up on (7/21/19) it’s the day after the 2 year anniversary. I meant to have this finished by the 20th, but it just didn’t happen. Plus “Numb/Encore” was one of the first songs that started up on this go-through of the playlist. If you’re interested in listening to it, I can direct you to my Spotify profile! Numb is one of those songs that have taken on new meaning since his death, but out of all the collaborations on this mashup album, I think it’s the one that works the best sonically and thematically, especially with the juxtaposition between angst and bravado[4].
Part Six: Fort Minor & The Rising Tied
#So sick, if he’s gonna think/That the good lord would come take him/I’m shaking him, “Wake up, you son of a bitch!”#  [TRT Track 14: “Red to Black”]
It was four years between the era of Meteora and Minutes to Midnight. In between that time, there was a sea change. First there was the mashup with Jay-Z, and then this came along in November 2005. I remember being more stoked for it than probably any other music that I discovered that year – and this was when Fall Out Boy, 50 Cent, and Coheed and Cambria dawned on me, among others. For those who don’t know, Fort Minor is/was Mike’s side project. He’s since done other solo stuff under his own name but between then and now he would bust out verses from The Rising Tied and incorporate them into existing songs. I always thought that Red to Black was the most LP-sounding song on the entire album and that for the longest time I thought Chester used Jonah Matranga as an alias and it wasn’t a separate person.
Part Seven: Minutes to Midnight
#In this farewell/There’s no blood, there’s no alibi/Cause I’ve drawn regret/From the truth of a thousand lies/So let mercy come and wash away# [M2M Track 6: “What I’ve Done”]
In the interest of time, these entries are probably going to get shorter and shorter. At this point, I just want to get the damn thing over with. “What I’ve Done”, the lead single was the one that struck me the most at first; I remember LP making a big deal about how they wanted to start a new sound after leaving their classic era behind. The music video was awesome, and I think LP was one of the best choices for the Transformers movies. I always thought that “What I’ve Done” would make a great wrestling song. Not necessarily as an entrance theme, but as a hype video for a PPV or a feud or something like that. EWR back in the day helped reinforce that belief though I can’t exactly remember what I associated it with – anyway, that’s neither here nor there. The day that I got this album was the same day the shooting at Virginia Tech happened. Finding out that the shooter was a mentally ill Asian dude spooked me. In today’s parlance, I was shook.[5] That’s something that has always stuck out even though it’s something I’ve not been fond of discussing, for obvious reasons. Still, for our purposes here, it is for once, actually relevant.
Part Eight: Dead by Sunrise and Out of Ashes
#Don’t want to lose my innocence/Don’t want the world second-guessing my heart/Won’t let your lies take a piece of my soul/Don’t want to take your medicine# [OOA Track 2: “Crawl Back In”]
The melodies that emerged on Minutes to Midnight, especially when it was Chester’s turn to take the mic, evolved. They turned into another platform for his music: the side-project Dead by Sunrise and their only album, so far as I know: Out of Ashes. I lump this album in with Welcome to the Masquerade by Thousand Foot Krutch and Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin. All three emerged during my sophomore year of college[6], which was another difficult year for me. I think that is when I had the most trouble sleeping, either by choice or for other reasons.  Out of everything LP-related, I think I have given this the least amount of attention. It’s probably time for that to change, ten years later.
Part Nine: A Thousand Suns
#Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds/I suppose we all thought that, one another# [ATA Track 2: “The Radiance”]
If Minutes to Midnight was an attempt to step out of the shadow of Hybrid Theory, then A Thousand Suns represented an aural breakaway. It was vastly different, integrating more spoken word and turning up their signature sound to 12. I can’t remember exactly if it was in 2009 or 2010 that I was meant to go see LP as they rolled into DC. Ultimately, I couldn’t go because of a lack of transport. It all ended up moot anyway because that was the show that got canceled because of Chester being sick. Trying to dig up that post on Facebook is probably beyond me now because it’s a day late. Maybe someday I’ll be able to find it again because those days were golden (at least my pathetic little eulogy for him that I wrote two years ago.)
Part Ten: Living Things
#Fly me up on a silver wing/Past the black where the sirens sing/Warm me up in a nova’s glow/And drop me down to the dream below#  [LT Track 6: “Castle of Glass”]
So if LP had been striving to break away from the sound that made them famous, it was at this point where they were “Nah bro” and went full bore back around into an ouroboros[7] of awesome. While the vast majority of A Thousand Suns[8] had to grow on me over the intervening years, Living Things grabbed me by the throat and never let go. It followed the Hybrid Theory blueprint to a T. After all this time, “Castle of Glass” still stands out as my favorite from the album, but as is often the case, it’s hard to pick favorites.
Part Eleven: Recharged
#When I was young, they told me, they said/Make your bed, you lie in that bed/A king can only reign ‘til instead/There comes that day it’s off with his head# [RC Track 1: “A Light That Never Comes”]
The less said about this, the better. It had its moments, especially “A Light That Never Comes” which showed me the potential of Steve Aoki. But the memory that stands out most clearly about the day I got this album was getting a case of Hell or High Watermelon beer. I think since I got it from Record and Tape Traders, it was the day I found the TARDIS socks for Ally and sent them to her later that week. As you probably gathered from the cluster of footnotes, this was deemed my least favorite “official” LP album, and that ranking has held up in the last six years. It does to Living Things what Reanimation did to Hybrid Theory, but for whatever reason, I can’t bring myself to enjoy it more.
Part Twelve: The Hunting Party
#Cause you don’t know what you’ve got/it’s your battle to be fought/until it’s gone# [THP Track 7: “Until It’s Gone]
Ah, here we go. LP seems to follow patterns in the creation of their albums. Cause roughly a year after Recharged, there came The Hunting Party. After A Thousand Suns came and went, it seemed like LP was on a creative lull. But then we got LT, Recharged, and THP in three straight years. This came out in 2014, and it’s hard to believe that five years have passed already. To this day, I still think that my favorite part was all of the guest appearances on their album, especially from collaborators they hadn’t featured before then, like Daron Malakian and Tom Morello.
Part Thirteen: Welcome
#First time I did it, yeah I’ll admit it/I kinda hit it and quit it and left y’all hanging# [“Welcome”]
In all honesty, this should be a footnote for The Rising Tied. It came out 10 years later, as a way for Mike to tip a wink and a nod at all his fans that were still waiting for a full-fledged sequel. Fate had other plans, though. I can still remember helping to clean Tidewater while this song blared through my headphones.  This probably became one of my most played songs of 2015.
Part Fourteen:  One More Light
#Who cares if one more light goes out? Well I do# [OML Track 9: “One More Light”]
We’re almost to the finish line. I was super excited for One More Light because it broke a drought of no new music until 2017[9]. The song One More Light became more poignant after his passing. I hope it still makes him proud.
Part Fifteen: Afterword
So where do we go from here?  Honestly, not even the remaining members of the band know. They’re not actively looking to replace Chester, and as a group, they’re still officially on hiatus. I didn’t even touch on any of the DVD or special edition releases that I’ve barely heard. I guess in a sense they’re honorable mentions, but without having listened to them, I can’t form any honest opinions or associations for them.[10]
[/mrhahn]
[1] It seems fitting that I mention that shirt I got as a twelve-year-old because that’s when I started picking up on writing as a hobby. It was a way to release my imagination and translate what I had in mind into a story, even if those early stories were embarrassingly bad. These footnotes will serve to flesh out those asides since they’ll more than likely distract from the main narrative I’m trying to spin here.
[2] Although Revenge remains iconic! Even to this day, I still long for an N64 and another copy.
[3] Chester struggled with MI too, even though hardly anyone knew it. It’s what ultimately got the best of him.
[4] My fascination with Genius Lyrics is really helping me to analyze and better understand the meanings of the words.
[5] It didn’t help that he bore an uncanny resemblance to me…
[6] 2009, how time flies!
[7] Not sure how to spell this dang word.
[8] I regarded it as my least favorite LP album until Recharged came out. More on that later.
[9] It wasn’t until that I built the playlist that inspired this essay that I learned that there were some other singles issued between The Hunting Party and One More Light. These tracks include “We Made It” with Busta Rhymes, which actually fell between Meteora and Minutes to Midnight; “Not Alone”, which was between A Thousand Suns and Living Things; and “Darker Than Blood” with Steve Aoki that was between The Hunting Party and One More Light.
[10] One was called “Frat Party at the Pankake Festival” and the other one was “Road to Revolution”, I think?

Creep
Honestly @xx-thedarklord-xx and @quicksilvermaid are always posting inspiring ass Drarry content that just sends my brain into Drarry overdrive so that’s how this came about, it’s like half headcanon/half...really long drabble? I don’t even know lol
-——————————————————
Draco is 25, has been crushing and pining on Harry hardcore since their eighth year, but he is so tormented by his awful decisions during the war that he “knows” he has no shot with someone like Harry. Despite their pretty solid friendship post-war, Draco deems himself too tainted for Harry.
One night, Draco goes out to karaoke with Pansy and Blaise. More accurately, Pansy drags Draco and Blaise to karaoke and demands they sing at least one song.
Draco is flipping through the songbook when he sees Harry, Ron, and Hermione come in and he is just NOT okay that day. The “I love Harry sodding Potter and there’s nothing I can do about it” feels are just too fucking heavy that day, okay? So Draco decides to sing “Creep” by Radiohead and from the moment he opens his mouth, Harry can’t take his eyes off him.
The raw emotion behind Draco’s voice doesn’t leave many dry eyes in the room. Harry is completely blown away by the emotion and how mesmerizing Draco’s voice is. He never knew Draco could sing.
After his number is up, Draco goes out back to the deserted patio because fuck, he loves Harry so much, and this whole unrequited love shit is bollocks. He smiles a cigarette to calm his nerves when who should show up on the patio?
Harry fucking Potter because...of course he does.
Harry is gushing and beaming at him, telling Draco how well he did and it just feels like a knife to the heart. He placates to the conversation, thanks Harry, he’s all obligatory smiles and nods. He just wants Harry to go away and let him wallow in piece but he loves the git too much to say so.
“Whoever you sang that for must have really broken your heart,” Harry murmurs.
Draco snorts, blowing a controlled stream of smoke from his pursed, pink lips as he sniffs his cigarette out underneath his wingtips. “You’ve no fucking clue, Potter.”
“Maybe they didn’t mean to...”and Harry is looking up at him with those big, green, puppy dog eyes so full of hope and light and everything Draco feels he doesn’t deserve. Harry is stepping closer to him and Draco just wants to crawl into a hole and die because Harry being this close to him is agonizing.
“He don’t know. I never told him how I felt because it doesn’t matter. I don’t deserve him.” Draco repeats it like a line from a book. He’d lost track of how many times he’d said it to himself over the years.
“Says who?” Harry steps close enough to him that Draco can smell his cologne. It’s vibrant, woodsy, it reminds Draco of the wood polish Harry used to use for his broom back at Hogwarts.
“It’s just a fact,” Draco mutters, heavily distracted by the fact that Harry’s lips are nearly touching his.
“Mm,” Harry’s hand comes up to stroke a stray lock of hair out of Draco’s eyes. Green eyes bore into him and Draco found he couldn’t possibly look away, even though his face was burning and his stomach felt like a wild hippogriff was tampling around inside it. “I think that’s utter shite,” Harry whispered, leaning forward and running his tongue over Draco’s bottom lip “I think you’re perfect for him,” and before Draco could refute that Harry was kissing him full on the lips, gentle but demanding, shutting up any half hearted argument Draco had been trying to muster.

Author’s Note: It’s finally here! Thank you to all readers that still follow this series even though I’ve been procrastinating for so long. My apologizes for my incessant laziness; I hope you enjoy this latest installment!
Part one. two. three. four.
Soulmate. When your whole world comes to a stop when destiny draws the pair close.
jungkook’s pov
He spends the next few days relentlessly looking for you. Starting by scanning through social media, with only your name to try to find who you are, it seems impossible. Jungkook is on his phone scrolling page after page on Google, stumbling across multiple accounts that have the name Y/N in them. It’s no use.
He returns to the familiar cafe, praying to someone he didn’t believe in that you would walk through those doors once again. However, after talking to Hyorin, he learns of the name of college that you attend, and without a second to waste, rushes there on his motorcycle.
His mind is racing the whole day, until he reaches your school. He scours throughout campus, scanning every person trying to recognize a figure with your familiar hair. When he does this for two days, he starts to spread his radius, looking around the shops and fast food stops around the campus. He begins to feel helpless.
Fuck, Y/N where are you?
As the sun sets, he has once again spent the whole day at your campus and city searching for you. His mind is a jumbled mess of thoughts and worries. He spends the night on the various subway lines, hoping to possibly bump into you.
This went on for a few days.
Day 364.
Night quickly approaches, and the air turn chilly once again. He walks past the motorcycle parked on the side of the road, and heads into an unchecked subway station. He pads down the steps quickly and starts to wander around again. He loiters around the benches, the line of people buying their tickets, and the group of tired individuals leaning on the columns waiting for the subway to come.
When the subway arrives at it’s station, Jungkook follows the flow of the others into the train and stands, hand grasping the hanging strap for support. He stares at his phone, watching the digits count up to the dreaded 11:59 pm
Tomorrow is the last day. He furrows his eyebrows, staring LED screen displaying the station number in large pixels. People streak by the window as the subway picks up speed.
The subway train does a series of starts and stops, picking up and dropping off passengers the whole time, slowly becoming more and more crowded.
As the train slows down pulling on the fifth stop, Jungkook counts the number of people he sees outside.
Man in a blue hat, mother holding a child, elderly with a cane, girl with headphones, guy drinking coffee.
Methodically, Jungkook mentally takes note of the small population in this subway stop.
However, a shot of alertness surges through his body.
“Wait, was that Y/N?” he thinks. Your image ghosts across the window as the subway surges forward slowly to a stop. His whole body is on alert. He stumbles down the carts, pushing away the people leaning on the poles and dishing out half-hearted apologizes. He is too focused on trying to take a better look. He weaves around the stationary figures holding onto the railings above them, his eyes trained on your silhouette within the crowd waiting to enter through the designated doors.
Please watch your step as you walk in.
The PSA sounds throughout the subway, and sound of releasing air exhales from the tracks. People start to stand up as when they see the subway doors start to open. Jungkook loses his vision on you, your face obscured by the intersecting paths of everyone around you.
Jungkook is standing a few feet from the door. It’s you. He sees from a distance that you are walking further down, maybe waiting for the next subway, maybe to enter a less crowded subway cart, maybe to leave this station all together. Jungkook can’t think right. He’s standing on the side of one of the doors with people streaming in like a school of fish.
“Y/N!!” he shouts, voice breaking away from desperation.
He continues to push past the crowd of people, struggling break free from the tangle of arms grasping the bars for support and the legs stretching out across the train floor. Jungkook calls your name out again, desperation evident in his voice much to the annoyance of the people around him. He has already quickly lost his sight on you.
“Fuck!” he yells. He wants to push, shove, hit anything and anyone around him. He manages his way through the people and sees the door still open. He doesn’t know where you went, but he knows he has to make a choice. The cold air rushing through the door almost seems inviting as he bursts from the crowd of people out onto the cement floors.
 He sprints.
Following the yellow lines bordering the safety zone for the public to take account for, he scours the windows of the train, hoping to see that familiar hair, that perfect smile, that comforting aura, his soulmate.
Please watch your step, doors will be closing soon.
Jungkook’s mind is racing, his heart pounding from nervousness and running through the station. Eyes bouncing around the scene before him, he sees you, back facing towards him. Standing against the pole, your hands are in your pockets with a backpack hanging from your tired shoulders. The violent wind is making strands of hairs dance wildly in the air around you. Jungkook never slows in his steps, rushing towards you and grabbing your wrist as you reach up to pull one of the earphones away from your ears.
“I found you...” Jungkook whispers, breath filling his speech.
 He stills.
Day 364.
364 days of searching.
364 days of pure agony and distress.
364 days of cursing at the gods for this mislabeled hope.
 It wasn’t you.
Gentle ringing tones sound throughout the subways as the doors close. The girl he grabbed ahold of gives Jungkook a strange stare beofre quickly brushing off his grip on her arm. He quickly apologizes and whips his head around to search the subway once again.
Empty. Dark. In his moment of hesitation looking through the subway window past the reflection of himself on the glass, his eyes lock with someone else. You stand frozen. The real you, holding your phone in hand, stands on the other side of the glass, eyes widening. The world stops right there, time crashing around him. Jungkook wants to lift his legs, move his feet towards you, but it feels too slow. His movements are too sluggish.
Without a word, he lets his weight pull him forward with one goal in mind: you.
your pov
After your heated argument with Jungkook during your second meeting with him, you are left feeling empty, yet filled with a eventually acceptance for what was to come. The following days, you actually go out with your friends, enjoying their company. It was refreshing to socialize instead of moping around for days on end. Nevertheless, in the back of your mind, whether you were singing karaoke or out eating with your best friends, Jungkook was always on the back of your mind. Your smile felt forced most of the time, and only on few occasions was it genuine.
Your nightly adventures with friends always came to the same ending, with your friends too drunk to move, and you hauling asses into the taxi cab so they return home safe and sound. Of course, you never actually have to help you friends back into the cab since the day would just reset; however, going through the routine made your heart feel at rest, and although you lost your breath after the third person, your mind was occupied and free of worries for those few minutes. Afterwards, you would find yourself waiting in the subway for your ride back to the dorms.
The subway station was like your second home. While others complained about the smell or chilling temperature, you only pulled the zipper of your jacket higher as you browsed your phone. Subway tickets were was cheap, and the stop near your university was only a minute walk away. Although you could wait for the time to reach 11:59 and be magically transported to your room, the subway provided a sense of calmness that kept your mind from the fear of not being able to find your soulmate.
Day 364.
You wake up at the repeated sound of your alarm clock, with the incessant and annoying sunlight filtering through the blinds. Your arms stretch in an arc over your head, and your toes point forwards creating tents in the fabric of the blanket. You shove your elbows under you, pushing yourself into an upright position on your bed, the movement shuffling the stuffed animals on your bed. Your phone lights up the same time it has for the past months, notifying you which homework assignments were due that day. You reach over to grab your phone off your tableside desk, your thumb hovering over the dimly lit screen.
It was time to face the inevitable and with a final affirmation through yelling at yourself to just do it, you dial your mom.
The ringing only heightens your nervousness, and deep down you wish she wouldn’t answer so you don’t have talk to her about this.
“Hey, honey, it’s such a surprise to see you calling home,” cheers your mom. You fake a smile even though shes not in the room.
“Hey Mom, how are you doing?” you ask out of politeness. Your mom chuckles from the other side of the line.
“Shouldn't I be asking you that question? But I’m doing well, spending time with your father, gardening, old people things. What about you?”
The corners of your lips lifts into a small smile. It was nice hearing from your mother. The background sounds form the TV playing and you can almost hear your dad yelling from upstairs asking your mom who was on the phone.
“It’s Y/N, dear, come and say hi!” yells your mom into the distance.
“College is nice, made lots of friends, some partying, generic college student activities,” you respond to your mother’s question.
“I see your sarcasm is still in top notch shape,” says your mother. You can see the smirk planted on her face as she says that.
“I learned from the best,” you reply. You can hear the phone being moved around and shuffled between hands. The hushed whispers of how to turn on speaker phone was a clear indicator that your father had finally made his way to the phone.
“Hi pumpkin, why the call home, and why so early? Don’t you have class?” interrogates your father.
“Nothing ever gets past you, Dad,” you say. You fingers play with the hem of your blanket and your gaze settles from stuffed animal to stuffed animal.
“I wanted to call you because I was worried about something,” you continue, expression scrunching up into a grimace. The silence from the other side meant your parents were ready to listen. You take your time, squeezing out the words syllable by syllable.
“I’m nervous...and I have some questions,” you push out. Your dad signs into the phone.
“Y/N, don’t be nervous, you know your mother and I won’t judge you,” reminds your father. You only feel the nervousness build even higher and you fist your blanket even harder.
“I just wanted to know what it felt like when you were searching for each other,” you rush out. The words seem to hang in the air before a response comes from the phone.
“Honey, you mean...searching, as in searching for your soulmate?” questions your mom. You let out a small “uh huh” in confirmation. The small squeal from your mom and chuckle form your dad shows how happy they were.
“You’re looking for your soulmate? That’s wonderful, what are you worried about? Oh wait, is this even the first time you told us?” laughs your mom.
You want to smile with them, but you brace yourself to ask the next question.
“Mom, Dad, I’m worried, and I just want to know what exactly happens when you don’t find your soulmate in time,” you nearly whisper.
Your parents quiet down and before you try to make a joke to lighten up the mood, your mom speaks, “Well, honey, you know how when you touch you soulmate for the first time you feel a rush of emotion, all the emotions in fact, from all the times you were separate from your soulmate. If you stay together until the restart time, you are bonded with your soulmate.”
“And if you don’t?” you ask.
Your mom sighs before continuing, “And if you don’t...well, honey, you won’t be able to feel anything anymore. But you already know that,” replies your mom.
“But what does that mean? To not feel anything?” you persist, trying to get more details.
“Well, you won’t feel the need to laugh at things that are funny, or cry when you feel sad, or get angry at anything. You might act rashly and do things to make you feel something, doing crazy things just to feel even the tiniest bit of adrenaline or fear. But, in the end, you would still be emotionless, for the rest of your life,” finishes your dad.
You sink into the headboard of your bed, and your whole body seems to deflate. It was clear that those were not the words you wanted to hear, and yet you knew that what they were saying would be your future. When your parents didn’t hear a response from you, they sighed and calmly spoke out.
“Y/N, you don’t have to worry about that, I bet you still have plenty of time to look for your soulmate,” affirms your mom.
“Yeah, I know,” you lie to her. You didn’t want to worry them or hear concern woven in their words. You continue, “Thanks, those were the words I needed to hear.”
Your dad chuckles and your mom responds, “No problem, let us know if you need to know anything else okay?”
You nod into empty air as if they were right there, and you end the call with a promise to keep calling back and a bittersweet goodbye.
You clutch the small yellow stuffed bird closest to you and speak aloud, as if it was speaking to you.
“No point in sitting in bed all day,” you squeak in a high-pitched tone. The bird stares back as it jumps up and down in encouragement from your actions. You let your arms relax, and the bird stills before you chuck it back to the end of the bed and you swing your legs out from under the covers.
Time to get going.
You sit on the bus, watching the trees fly by and birds hover in the air. You spend the day here and there, walking around the town of Seoul doing everything that interests you. You eat ice cream by the fountain of the park, and enter various shops to try on outrageous outfits you would never try out. You take pictures of everything that makes you feel happy and bubbly on the inside. The day flies by faster than you think.
In the end, you spend the end of the day waiting for the subway like always. You hold your phone up and snap a picture of the rushing subway train. The howling of the wind as it travels through the tunnel makes you put on your earphones to drown out the noise.
After a few trains that come and go, you enter a subway train that would bring you back to your dorm. You follow the few people that stand up to enter the train and reach one hand up to grip on the overhead railings.
Please watch your step, doors will be closing soon.
The announcement filters through your earphones and the faint tones of closing doors prompt you to instinctively scoot further away from the closing doors. You bump into a women next to you and one earbud falls out of your ear. You hear a quick apology and look up from your phone. Quickly bowing, your eyes jump from the women to your reflection in the glass.
Except, you don’t notice your reflection. Jungkook is standing outside. His eyes are wide open. How? The subway starts to inch away, and you snap into action when you see Jungkook charging towards the window.
Unless... he is...
“No, no, no!” you repeat over and over as the understanding that he is your soulmate slams into your mind. Your heart is beating uncontrollably and your arms shake as you frantically spin around to look for the button that alerts the conductor to stop the subway train. Jungkook is screaming your name from the other side of the glass and onlookers stare as he pounds his fists against the door.
You’re nearly sobbing now as you drag in ragged breathes while whispering Jungkook’s name over and over again. Your finger presses the red button continuously.
“Please, please, not like this,” you yell against the door. Jungkook is running as he tries to keep up with the speeding train. The wind howls louder as the subways picks up speed and Jungkook falls away from the glass. You only scream louder and claw at the door despite knowing there no chance you could do anything.
Your throat closes as your emotions claw upwards. Tears spill from your eyes, and you watch as your chance to be happy disappears. All you can remember are all those times you spent with Jungkook, and how the both of you never managed to make contact once. If only you grabbed onto his hand when you went to the beach, or let his fingers graze your face when he was hugging you. The blinking LED time display only serve as a countdown for the final day on your soulmate search.
If only...
Expect regrets only happen way too late, and this time, you weren’t sure whether you could do anything about it.

Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry: The Complete Timeline of Their Feud
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's pop star feud just keeps on giving!
Over the past few years, these famous frenemies have seemingly used their beef as songwriting material, addressed their differences in interviews and have gotten their squads involved.
Here's a look back at how the feuding first began and how it's progressed:
Sept. 8, 2014: Taylor Swift's Rolling Stone Interview

Prior to Swift's revealing Rolling Stone tell-all, Perry and Swift appeared to be friends, gamely posing at awards shows together.
But Swift had everyone talking ahead of the release of her GRAMMY-winning 1989 album, thanks to her quotes to Rolling Stone magazine, in which she revealed that she had a feud with a fellow pop star, which inspired her hit song, "Bad Blood."
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift said. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
"She did something so horrible," she continued. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
Several internet commenters then noted that Perry did lure a few backup dancers away from Swift's tour as she embarked on her own Prismatic tour in 2014. However, according to one of the dancer's agents, the dancers "exercised a 30-day out in their contracts and left Taylor, but Katy didn't steal them."
"They just didn't want to tour with her anymore because there is basically no choreography or dancing in her show," the agent claimed.
While Swift did say that the feud had nothing to do with a boy, both previously dated singer John Mayer.
Sept. 9, 2014: Katy Perry Calls Swift a 'Mean Girl'
Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing...
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) September 9, 2014
Perry didn't shy away from Swift's Rolling Stone comments, tweeting the next day: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
In January 2015, Perry confirmed the tweet was pointed at Swift.
"If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it," Perry told Billboard magazine when asked if her tweet was about the "Shake It Off" singer.
May 23, 2015: Taylor Swift Will Never, Ever Talk About Katy Perry Again
In an interview with The Telegraph, Swift made it clear she was over Perry. "I'm not giving them anything to write about," she said when asked about about her nemesis. "I'm never going to talk about her in my interview. It's not going to happen."
Swift did, however, confirm she had her "enemies" in the business. "It's not real if someone appears to never have any issues with anyone," she explained. "I have my friends. I have enemies."
July 22, 2015: Katy Perry Hits Back at Taylor Swift Amid Her Nicki Minaj Beef
Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman...
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 22, 2015
The pop star feud was resurrected when Perry jumped in on the Twitter beef between Swift and Nicki Minaj over the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominees.
"If I was a different 'kind' of artist, 'Anaconda' would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well," Minaj tweeted, getting vocal about her VMA snub. “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year."
Swift took the tweet personally, responding, “I've done nothing but love and support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other.”
Perry then chimed in with a devastating tweet referencing "Bad Blood."
"Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..." she wrote.
July 27, 2015: Taylor Swift Throws 'Left Shark' Shade at Katy Perry

— Jillian ❤🎤🎧 (@Swifty448) July 26, 2015
Swift appeared to be back at it again later that month, seemingly trolling Perry during her Foxborough, Massachusetts, stop as part of her 1989 world tour. Her performance of "Bad Blood" curiously featured a cameo from a life-sized shark mascot -- a not-so-thinly veiled dig at Perry's Super Bowl dancer-turned-internet meme.
July 13, 2016: Calvin Harris Brings Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's Feud to the Forefront

— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 13, 2016
Time, the ultimate truth teller.
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) May 9, 2015
Swift's ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris, brought up Swift and Perry's bad blood when he slammed the singer on Twitter. Harris was upset after Swift's rep confirmed that the singer wrote his and Rihanna's summer hit, "This Is What You Came For," under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg -- when the two were still a couple -- and after Swift began dating actor Tom Hiddleston, who she broke up with that same year.
"Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," he tweeted, after initially praising Swift. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."
"I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it," he continued.
Perry later tweeted out a GIF of Hillary Clinton shooting out an epic "I told you so"-look shortly afterward.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Perry then retweeted her own tweet from May 2015, where she wrote, "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
Sept. 10, 2016:  Katy Perry Would Collaborate With Taylor Swift Under One Condition
if she says sorry, sure!
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) September 10, 2016
Perry was looking for an apology after a fan asked her on Twitter: "Will you ever collab with Taylor Swift?"
She surprisingly tweeted back: "If she says sorry, sure!"
Oct. 26, 2016: Katy Perry Rocks Out to Kanye West's 'Famous' Taylor Swift Diss
Perry once again rekindled the pop star feud while celebrating her 32nd birthday at Kanye West's concert in Inglewood, California. She even shared a video of herself dancing along to the rapper's now infamous Swift diss in "Famous."
May 20, 2017: Katy Perry Calls "Swish, Swish" an 'Anthem' Against Bullying
Though Perry never mentions Swift in her song, "Swish, Swish," the track is clearly slamming somebody, and of course, fans couldn't help but notice that that "swish" isn't so far off from Swift.
"From a selfish or a sheep/ Don't you come for me/ No, not today/ You're calculated/ I got your number," Perry sings. "'Cause you're a joker/ And I'm a courtside killer queen/ And you will kiss the ring/ You best believe."
"So keep calm, honey, I'ma stick around/ For more than a minute, get used to it," she continues. "Funny my name keeps comin' outcho mouth/ 'Cause I stay winning."
"I think it's a great anthem for people to use whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you," Perry told Jimmy Fallon about the song during her appearance on The Tonight Show. "That's kind of what this record is about. It's just like [a] 360-degree liberation. ... I think 'Swish' represents the liberation from all the negative that doesn’t serve you."
Of course, some of Swift's pals definitely didn't see it that way. Ruby Rose took to Twitter to defend Swift and slammed Perry, writing: "Purposeful poop" to 'bomb a petit' to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make 'Wit..I mean 'fetch' happen."
"I've always stood up for the people I love and against things I think are cheap or mean spirited. That's not new. You have to follow your ❤," the actress continued. "I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer."
May 22, 2017:  Katy Perry Claims Taylor Swift 'Started' Their Feud and 'It's Time for Her to Finish It'
Perry didn't hold back during her Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden, addressing the beef head-on.
"Honestly, it's really like she started it and it's time for her to finish it," Perry said after the Late Late Show host asked her to clear things up. "She wouldn't speak to me. I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I'm like, 'OK, cool, cool, cool. That's how you wanna deal with it?'"
"But, what I wanna say is that I'm ready for that B.S. to be done," she added. "Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something and there's going to be a reaction. And trust me, Daddy, there's going to be a reaction. It's all about karma."
It should be noted that "Swish Swish," coincidentally, has a line about karma, where Perry croons, "Karma's not a liar."
June 8, 2017: Katy Perry Slams Taylor Swift for 'Trying to Assassinate' Her Character
Perry wasn't quite done talking about Swift. In an interview with NME, she gave background on why she decided to address the feud with Corden.
“I mean, I’m not Buddha -- things irritate me,” she said. “I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That’s so messed up!”
June 8, 2017: Taylor Swift Puts Entire Song Catalog Back on Streaming Services -- Right When Katy Perry's Album Drops
Actions speak louder than words. Though Swift has stayed silent on Perry's comments about her, she announced on June 8, 2017 that her entire song catalog would return to all streaming services at midnight -- just when Perry's Witness album dropped.
Perry was later asked about whether the move bothered her during an interview with the Today show's Natalie Morales. "I don't know, I can only do me," Perry replied. "All I need to say to her is I love her, and God bless her on her journey. And that’s it."
June 10, 2017: Katy Perry Is '100 percent' Ready to 'Let Go' of Feud
Perry made it clear that she was ready to make amends with Swift during a conversation with Arianna Huffington, which was live streamed to promote Witness.
"I'm ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 percent," Perry said of the longtime beef. "I forgive her, and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it's actually... I think it's time."
"There are bigger fish to fry, and there are bigger problems in the world," she continued. "I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter, and like, I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like, 'Yeah, we can do this.' Maybe I don't agree with everything she does, and maybe she doesn't agree with everything I do, but like, I just... I really, truly, want to come together, and in a place of love and forgiveness, and understanding and compassion."
June 12, 2017: Katy Perry Changes a Key 'Swish, Swish' Lyric
Perry backed up her conciliatory quotes by pointedly changing a few lyrics while singing "Swish Swish" during an outdoor concert for her fans. Instead of singing the line, "Don't you come for me," in the first verse, Perry sang, "God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl."
July 19, 2017: Katy Perry Says She's 'Always Loved' Taylor Swift Despite Their 'Differences'
Perry wasn't done trying to make nice with Swift.
In an interview on Australia's Today show, Perry reiterated that she had love for the singer. "I mean, I love her, I always have," Perry told host Richard Wilkins. "We've had our differences, but I just continue to say, 'God bless her on her journey.'"
While Swift never acknowledged Perry's compliments, Twitter was abuzz that the ladies would finally put their beef behind them at the VMAs. After all, Swift did so with West at the 2015 VMAs when she presented the Video Vanguard award to the rapper, and when she jumped onstage to open the show with Minaj after their Twitter feud that same year.
However, Swift did not end up attending the 2017 VMAs.
August 24, 2017: Katy Perry Releases Star-Studded "Swish, Swish" Music Video
youtube
Like Swift's "Bad Blood" music video, Perry enlisted a bunch of celebrities to star in the music video for her single, "Swish, Swish," her diss track widely speculated to be about her frenemy. The release was ahead of Swift dropping her first single, "Look What You Made Me Do," off her album, Reputation.
August 24, 2017: Taylor Swift Releases Shady "Look What You Made Me Do" Music Video
youtube
While Perry hosted the VMAs, it was Swift that got people talking with her shade-tastic music video for "LWYMMD."
Main moments of shade include Swift made up in a way that could be described as “Katy Perry-esque” and wrecking a car (complete with a Katy-cat in the front seat).
March 17, 2018: Karlie Kloss Addresses Taylor Swift Feud Rumors After Hanging Out With Katy Perry
The model-turned-tech philanthropist was longtime friends with Swift, and opened up to The New York Times after fans started speculating that she was now Team Katy. After all, the girls was spotted hanging out together a month prior.
"Don't believe everything you read," Kloss said simply.
March 18, 2018: Katy Perry Subtly Shades Taylor Swift on 'American Idol'
The feud continues! @katyperry throws SHADE on @taylorswift13 on @AmericanIdol#AmericanIdolpic.twitter.com/IBut9mAkhn
— TalentRecap (@TalentRecap) March 19, 2018
During a montage segment of Idol hopefuls auditioning for the panel, Perry's fellow judge, Luke Bryan, asked one scruffy, guitar-carrying singer, who he looks up to as a musical artist. "I'm sorry for this Katy… Taylor Swift," the hopeful answered nervously.
"Oh, you don't have to be sorry," Perry replied.
"I love Taylor Swift," the contestant added, emphatically.
"I love her, as a songwriter, as well," Perry stuttered, before shrugging indifferently.
Will these two ever make amends? Here's more on the feud:
May 8, 2018: Katy Perry Sends Taylor Swift a Literal Olive Branch:
It appears the feud is finally over. Swift shared a video of an olive branch and a note from Perry on her Instagram Stories on May 8, one night before her Reputation tour kicked off. The note is addressed "Hey Old Friend," and a closer look at the handwriting shows that Perry apologized to Swift.
"Hey old friend, I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the feelings between us, I really want to clear the air," the note reads.
Swift was clearly pleased by the gesture.
"So, I just got back to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch," she says in the video. "This means so much to me."
"Thank you Katy," the text on the video also reads, along with pink heart emojis.

— Taylor Swift Updates (@TSwiftPR) May 8, 2018
A source told ET that Perry gave her apology to the "Gorgeous" singer a lot of thought before sending it, and has been wanting to bury the hatchet for a while now.
“Katy planned a very personal, sweet apology and took time to write a kind note in hopes Taylor would see how much she cared about putting this behind them,” the source said. “Katy told friends if Taylor didn't accept this apology, she would keep trying because she is done holding on to the past and wants to be part of the change in today's society. She wants to set a good example for women, so she planned to never give up, if that is what it took."
“Katy hopes they finally can be supportive of each other's music and maybe one day soon even hang out together again," the source added. "Katy realizes they need to take it one day at a time, but that this is a great start.”

Surprised by singing
Tumblr media
This is honestly so sweet and wholesome, I love it! Also, thanks for only asking for the three guys you actually want instead of the whole RFA++. Hope you enjoy!
Zen
Since you'd become Zen's manager, his career had skyrocketed drastically. After everything with Echo Girl had been settled it had given him just the right exposure and publicity and by using the momentum you'd made Zen the most sought after actor of the generation. But you didn't just stop there. Besides being the most amazing and efficient manager he could ever have dreamed of, you were also a very loving and devoted girlfriend as well as his best practice partner with patience of steel. Zen was a workaholic, everyone who knew him knew that, but lucky for him he had you to share those hard hours with. You listened to his every line and every song. You made sure he stayed in pitch and gave helpful critique as well as kept him motivated. In short, you were his literal goddess. How you managed it all so easily was beyond him, but he never failed to let you know just how much he appreciated it. One thing, however, did daze Zen a little bit; no matter how much you seemed to know about music and singing, he'd never heard you sing. You did get the occasional ear worm from all of his practicing, but you'd only ever hum along, tap your foot or something similar, yet you'd never actually sing yourself. Zen had no idea what you sounded like, until the day he came home early from practice while you were in the shower. Even with the water running and the closed door muffling the sound even further, he could hear you singing the second he stepped through your apartments door. Zen froze in his tracks, completely taken aback by what he was hearing.
For a moment he was convinced, that it was a recording. The voice was just so strong and clear, it couldn't possibly be you. Then he noticed the lyrics from his last musical, however, and it became undeniably evident that the enticing voice belonged to you. When he stepped out of the bathroom Zen stood there waiting, jaw still slack with shock. “You sound beautiful! Why have I never heard you sing before?” Your cheeks tinted red and you bashfully lowered your head to smile to yourself. The answer turned out to be quite simple and somewhat heartbreaking; you'd tried to avoid stealing Zen's spotlight. You loved singing, yes, but you didn't love it half as much as Zen. He was truly passionate about it, so you wanted him to have that one thing purely for himself. In the end, the world never got to hear you sing, but Zen made sure that he did. He'd listen to you sing in the shower whenever he could and when he couldn't, he got you to jam with him. Even better, now he could practice all his songs with you and it made it all the more fun.
Jumin
Since you'd stepped into Jumin's life a lot of things changed. His carefully crafted routine has been turned upside down many times over and no matter how much he occasionally tried to settle back into his former life, you always found a way to disrupt his attempts.
At first, it was rather exhausting. For a perfectionist like Jumin Han is, it's hard to give up law and order, give up control, but you somewhat forced him to and once he'd gotten used to the constant adventure his life had turned into, Jumin was rather thankful for it. You made certain decisions for him that he'd never even considered, that turned out much more beneficial to him than he could have ever anticipated. One of those decisions was your idea of a monthly get together with the C&R employee's. At first he'd been adamant on denying you at least that request. Jumin loved making you happy, but this was different. There were certain boundaries between a boss and an employee he didn't want to cross. Of course you wore him down eventually. That's how Jumin, Jaehee, you and a bunch of other C&R employee's ended up at your first dinner together. Admittedly, it was awkward the first time around, but by the time the third monthly meet-up came around, everyone had warmed up to one another. Surprisingly, the entire thing was not only fun for Jumin, actually getting to know his employee's and learning how to improve upon himself as their boss and leader, it did actually have other benefits as well, since their productivity increased with every meet-up. Two years into the monthly meet-up and one of the assistants suggested going to a karaoke bar, something you hadn't done before. At first Jumin was hesitant, he wasn't a big public singer, but you reminded him of his pretty voice and how excited you were to hear him sing. He caved once more. When Jumin returns from to his seat after singing he's actually grinning, the whole group cheering and clapping. Apparently he did really well, if the excitement and the good score were anything to go by. However, nothing quite compared to what he heard next. Despite being married for years at this point, he'd never heard you sing. In fact when you started your song of choice, Jumin couldn't actually believe it was really you singing and not some playback. You sounded like an angel, mesmerizing everyone in the room into utter silence. Needless to say, that after that performance monthly meet-up ended up being karaoke for the next six months in a row. It was the most fun and interactive, something everyone had enjoyed. Mostly, however, it was because Jumin wanted more opportunities to hear you sing.
Saeyoung
Being married to Saeyoung is a little like a very, very unpredictable roller coaster. It goes up. It goes down. Sometimes it's fun, other times not so much. Most importantly, however, it's a constant stream of twists, turns and surprises.
There were days when you had to help Saeyoung work through things, where his past caught up with him and he was incapable of so much as leaving the bed, because it overwhelmed him all. You understood. He'd been through so much, who'd dare to judge him.
But for every bad day, there were at least three good ones. Times where Saeyoung was playful and cheeky, always smiling and making jokes. He'd come up with the craziest ideas on those days, sometimes spending the entire day tinkering and other times he would be glued to your side.
Of course with Saeyoung there was always a bit of a balance issue. Always had been and probably always would be. On his bad days, he could get horribly bad only to bounce back and onto the next extreme on his good days. As mentioned, a proper roller coaster.
It made keeping up with him a little harder than the typical marriage, but it made things all the more interesting as well. Like all the prank wars the two of you started. No one really understood why the two of you did that to yourself, but you didn't care.
It all started out when you'd switched out all of his PhD Peppers with tea in order to make him drink less sugary diabetes in a can and more healthy, digestion helping tea. Saeyoung took that one a little more personal than anticipated to which you promptly found itching powder in your favourite sweater.
It all spiraled out of control from there. Tit for a tat. A constant battle of wits. However, after a couple of months Saeyoung actually ran out of idea's, so he decided to pull his trump card and dig around in your past.
He'd been sure he find something embarrassing to annoy you with – everyone had a shameful phase during High School they didn't want anyone to know about – and it felt like he'd dug out a treasure when he found a video of a talent show you participated in during your sophomore year.
Lucky for you – sadly for Saeyoung's prank – it turned out to be anything but embarrassing. Sure, your hair and make-up were a bit silly, but who'd looked good in High School, really. More importantly, you were a fantastic singer!
When you came home about two hours later, Saeyoung was still sitting in front of the computer, listening to all of your performances on repeat. You won that prank war, but more importantly you found something to cheer Saeyoung up with, when the days got a little dark again.

Quarantine day 2

Tumblr media
DAY TWO BABY!! I thought about my schedule and tried to stick to it. My phone’s sleep function let me set an alarm for 9:30 and the alarm for this function is birds chirping, gradually getting louder and louder, and I was confused at first because it kinda blended in with the natural birds chirping outside my window. And then I was happy because it’s spring! And the birds are singing again! It’s very exciting. Even my sister noticed and was happy about it.
I’m going to start off this blog post with my lists of things I’m grateful for and Quarantine by the Numbers now, instead of ending it with the lists. This way I can kinda organize my thoughts in the beginning by listing highlights of the day. We’ll see how it goes.
THINGS I’M GRATEFUL FOR:
A few turtles still out at the park! Birds chirping. The random old man singing karaoke into his phone on the bench. A really cute corgi that I definitely did not consider following. Very pretty flowers blooming! Birds chirping! Spring is coming! The mozzarella stick that my sisters made for me by dipping a cheese stick in egg, flour, and panko bread crumbs. It was really good! Trying matzo with peanut butter. Also tastes pretty good. My phone that lets me stay in touch with family and friends who are far away. Wifi. I really love wifi in case you can’t tell. The Legend of Zelda. That my sisters let me have the Switch
QUARANTINE BY THE NUMBERS:
Time outside basement: approx. 1.5 hours
Legend of Zelda: approx. 3 hours
Toggl-logged productivity time (thesis and reviewing lectures): 2 hours 1 minute
Pokemon Shield: approx. 1.5 hours
Watching Bowen Yang SNL videos: approx. 1 hour? Unsure really honestly. He’s HILARIOUS. Highly recommend any video with him as Chen Biao, Chinese trade minister or coronavirus official.
BACK TO YOUR REGULAR SCHEDULED “BLOGGING” aka June rambles for a long time:
Honestly, I was pretty happy with how my schedule was working out today. I did a bunch of work in the morning and afternoon. Had some nice lunch and leftovers. It all started going downhill after I came back from the park though, at least in terms of doing “what I’m supposed to be doing.” (Which, might I say, is kinda BS at this point. What am I supposed to be doing? I’m on spring break. I’m supposed to be coming back from Puerto Rico today, and hanging out with my friends in the city, probably getting tipsy and taking photos with my Polaroid and buying mediocre NYC food and then getting McDonald’s after because we’re still hungry and Mickey D’s is more satisfying sometimes anyways. And then I’m supposed to go back to school and work and finish my semester and graduate. But none of that is gonna happen.)
Sorry. What I meant was that I started getting really off-track from my idealized schedule after dinner. I played a ton of Breath of the Wild and live-streamed it for my sisters (like a Twitch streamer!) I have the books set up on a table and plug in my phone and prop it up so they can see the TV. Probably like 2 hours. I kinda can’t remember what else I did but I know I also played Pokemon Shield for a while too, because I figured that I’d played too much BoTW.
OK. Can we talk about Pokemon Shield for a second? Like, what the hell? Maybe I’m getting too old, but I was getting SO frustrated while I was playing with it. That kid, your neighbor, whose bro is the champion? He NEVER FUCKING SHUTS UP. OH MY GOSH. HE’S SO. FUCKING. ANNOYING. And he just says the SAME shit OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Wah wah wah! I’m going to be the next champion! Wah wah wah! My brother is the champion! And I’m gonna be so strong! Watch me! And then he keeps losing. And there are just too many cut scenes. I feel like I’m watching a TV show, but the most boring and repetitive TV show ever. Maybe it’s because I’ve played a lot of Pokemon games and they mostly have the same plotline, but I was just Really Bored during it.
My sister did tell me that a lot of people noticed that Sword and Shield were clearly marketed for a younger audience (like elementary school age, 5-9 maybe) and I’m kinda several times older than most elementary school kids. So I guess it makes sense. But either way I still ended up playing till like 2:45 in the morning because I got to the Wild Area and that was actually kinda fun even though I made terrible curry and my Pokemon probably wanted to vomit it up.
Saw a little wounded squirrel friend. See how he’s missing an eye and his tail is kinda chopped a little short? I don’t know how that happened, but he seems like he’s thriving though! Running around, chasing nuts, the usual. A fighter! He was inspirational.

BTS Imagine #12: So far away with Yoongi
Word count: 1,560
Members featured: Yoongi
Description: I’m at my apartment when Yoongi calls me, telling that he needs me at his studio right away. When I get there, he drops a very interesting announcement which involves us working together on something very special.
I didn’t often get quiet days at my apartment. It was becoming more and more difficult to make time for myself away from the boys. With them hard at work on the new album and all of them each demanding my attention in different ways, I rarely saw my friends anymore. I felt bad but this was also part of my job in some ways. I couldn’t say no to any of them.
Just as this thought had formed in my mind, my phone started to ring.
GENIUS OPPA CALLING, the screen read.
“Oh, no,” I muttered.
If Yoongi was calling to ask me to come over, I knew I would be leaving my apartment in a heartbeat.
“Hello?”
“Hey, are you busy right now?” Yoongi asked me.
“No, not necessarily, but–”
“Can you please come to the studio? It’s really important.”
“Yoongi, I never get time to myself and this is the first time I’ve been in my apartment in, like, a week,” I complained. “The agreement was to live in the dorms part-time, not all the time.”
“I know, and I’m sorry that we’ve been demanding so much of your time, especially me,” he apologized. “There’s just a lot of pressure for this album to be amazing and you always make me feel like I can do anything.”
When he said that, I knew there was no way I could turn him down.
“You really do deserve a break but this is really, really important and I need you to be here,” he went on, his voice earnest.
I was already grabbing a jacket and my keys before he had finished his sentence.
“You know I’ll always be there for you,” I told him.
I could hear the relief in his voice before his tone abruptly changed.
“There’s a car on the way to get you,” he said sheepishly.
“How did you know I was going to say yes?” I demanded.
“I had a feeling.”
“Ugh! You’re lucky I love you!” I said, wedging my phone between my shoulder and my ear so that I could put my shoes on.
“I know, I am so incredibly lucky. I am lucky that you were so determined that we should meet. I am lucky that you made every effort for the two of us to be close. I am lucky that you packed up your life and moved across the world to–”
“Okay, please,” I choked, tears streaming down my face. “I can’t–you didn’t need to–My heart!”
Yoongi chuckled.
“I’ll see you in a little bit,” he said. “Bye.”
I managed to get a hoarse “bye” out of my mouth before he hung up. I wiped my face with the back of my sleeve, trying to pull myself together. I hadn’t been prepared for an assault on my feelings. It was so unfair.
“Damn it, Yoongi,” I muttered, slinging my purse over my shoulder and getting ready to leave.
By the time I arrived at Yoongi’s studio, I felt composed enough. I was curious about what he needed me for. I had heard the urgency in his voice so I had a feeling that he didn’t just want my company. I unlocked the door with a key, which was one of only two copies that existed.
“I’m here!” I called out, dropping my purse on the couch.
Yoongi rushed over to me at once, throwing his arms around me for a tight hug.
“Oof!”
Startled, I wrapped my arms around him, resting my hands flat on his back. Although ARMYs thought Yoongi was tiny, he was still about four inches taller than me and he made me feel safer than anyone else in the world.
“I’m so glad you decided to come,” he told me sincerely after he had released me. “We are going to be working on something very special today.”
“We?” I repeated, confused.
“Bang PD-nim approved this very special project for FESTA this year,” he said, his eyes twinkling. “We’re going to release an alternate version of ‘So far away!’”
“That sounds great but… I fail to see where I come into the picture,” I replied.
Yoongi grinned, his smile stretching his face so wide into what ARMYs called his gummy smile.
“You’re going to sing Suran’s part,” he announced.
I blinked a few times in rapid succession.
“I’m sorry–what?”
“Look, I’ve heard you sing. The other members have heard you sing. Bang PD-nim has heard you sing–”
“When did he hear me sing?” I demanded, my face burning red.
“Um… I may or may not have sent him a video of you at the karaoke bar that one time,” Yoongi admitted.
“Yoongi!”
“Okay, I know that I should have asked you first!” he said quickly. “The FESTA schedule hasn’t been announced so nothing has been finalized. If you really don’t want to do it, you don’t have to.”
“I… Yoongi…” I sighed. “It’s not that I don’t want to. Trust me–I really want to. It’s just… I’m not like Suran or any other female Korean artist you could be collaborating with. I’m not… good.”
Yoongi placed his hands firmly on my shoulders, bending down slightly to look me in the eyes.
“I can’t think of anyone who I would rather be working on this with than you,” he said, articulating each word clearly and emphatically. “I want to do this.”
“But if you’re planning on releasing it during FESTA… that means… that a lot of people–a lot of ARMYs–will hear it,” I said slowly. “What if they hate it?”
“They won’t,” he assured me. “It’ll be great.”
I bit my lip, hesitant, unsure.
Yoongi took one of my hands and placed it over his own heart.
“You’ve always believed in me,” he said seriously. “Now it’s my turn to tell you that I believe in you. So please, let’s do the song together.”
I felt a tear slide down my cheek.
“Okay,” I whispered, feeling the change in his heartbeat beneath my palm when I agreed. “I’ll do it.”
I had never seen a more radiant smile than the one that appeared on Min Yoongi’s face in that moment.
“Great!” he exclaimed happily. “Now come over here.”
He took me by the hand, leading me to where his equipment was all set up. He already had everything ready to go–the instrumental track, the microphones–all of it.
“I’m going to re-record my part,” he explained to me. “I’m going to try and give it a different feel because obviously I’m not the same person I was when I first wrote this song. And you’re going to record all of Suran’s part.”
“You know I can’t read music that’s not for the flute or guitar, right?” I reminded him. “I can’t look at a note and just know which one to sing.”
“But you know the part,” he pointed out. “Even if you only know it by ear, you still know it. So it’s fine. I trust you.”
“Okay,” I said, doubtful.
“We’re also going to add some harmonies,” he informed me. “You can sing both at a higher range and a lower range, so we’re going to use both.”
I tried not to look like I was panicking. It was one thing to help Yoongi figure out harmonies when I knew that someone else was going to be singing them. It was another thing entirely to be harmonizing with myself on a professionally recorded and produced track that hundreds of thousands of people were going to hear, if not more.
Yoongi took my hand and squeezed it in encouragement, as if he had heard me freaking out internally.
“We’ll take this one step at a time,” he promised me.
I nodded, unable to form coherent words.
We spent the next four hours working on the song, first practicing with the original version so that I could get comfortable and Yoongi could try different styles. We then started recording our separate parts. He would be producing the song himself, along with some help from Big Hit’s other producers.
“Should we… maybe ask Adora to help with backing vocals?” I ventured.
“No, I really want you to do this yourself,” Yoongi replied. “It’s a collaboration between us and us only.”
We spent another hour recording parts before Yoongi was finally satisfied with what we had.
“I have other things I need to work on this week but you’ll come back when I start working on the production, right?” he asked me.
“I… you don’t need me for that, though,” I said.
“I always need you,” he told me sincerely. “You’re my best friend, my family. There won’t ever be a time when I won’t need you.”
“I’ve already cried twice today because of you,” I whined, already wiping my face with my sleeve. “You need to stop.”
He laughed, gathering me into his arms for an affectionate hug.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “I didn’t mean to make you cry. I just feel like I don’t tell you often enough how important you are to me. Before that stop on the tour, I only knew you as an ARMY. Don’t ever tell Hoseok this but I’m so glad he noticed you at sound check.”
I laughed through my tears, my arms tightening around him.
“Me, too, Yoongi. Me, too.”

Tribal Council #6 - Clownie
Tumblr media
You should take it as a sign of just how much I hate Alice Quinn as a character that I’ve decided to break the 4-4 tie for the tribe name in favor of a literal demon...
Welcome, Clownie Tribe, to your first merged tribal!
You were all asked questions, but I had zero interest in coming up with 11 game-related questions for y’all, so this is what happened instead!!!
Colin - If you could change Ten (10) Seasons of Survivor to make it so your favorite from the season wins, but in exchange, Cirie Fields was never on Survivor, would you do it?
I dont even think I've watched 10 seasons of survivor tbh and I love Cirie so uh I'm gonna say no???
Dani - What song does the viewing lounge need to know about RIGHT THE FUCK NOW?
youtube
Dean - Which Harry Potter character got the worst translation from book to movie?
that would easily be Ginny "waste of space" Weasley. Who literally was reduced to Harry's love interest - even Katie Bell was more interesting than Ginny... where was all the character development? The building of a strong, independent character in her own right? No, let's take everything meanigful about Ginny and make here this boring character who is only concered about Harry and what Harry thinks of her.
Dennis - What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?
I had an older cousin who I overheard say she was going to be a porn star one day. I had no idea what that was (9yrs old). One day we went to the mall with her parents and a kiosk was selling license plate holders. One said "#1 porn star". I very loudly said "look Angie! #1 porn star!! For you!!" The look on her parents face....
Jacob - You’re at a karaoke night and you have to sing a song. What’s your go-to track?
recently i would go for space cowboy by kacey musgraves too but supercut and dancing queen is my long term brand
Jess - Congrats on immunity! Assign a Buffy the Vampire Slayer character to each tribe member, but don’t give any reasons why you chose them.
Colin- Spike
Dani- Buffy
Dean- Angel
Dennis- Xander
Jacob- Rupert
Jess- Faith
Kage- Riley
Lily- Dawn
Maynor- Oz
Nicole- Cordielia
Stevie-Wesley
Kage - How old were you when you found out Santa wasn’t real? What was the last straw in your belief?
No answer...
Lily - What Disney movie makes you cry the most?
Ah Sweet, Drewie. This is the best tribal question you have asked me all season. Tbh I don’t cry at movies often in general...but I bawled on my 2nd viewing of Up. I don’t want to get into the details but damn. I was real sad. Not sure if I can watch it again.
Maynor - What obscure Pokemon should be the star of their next animated movie, and what would the story be?
i want to see a movie on Delibird. Have a female shiny amd a normal living in the snowy mountains. Where they are going to have to save xmas because a gengar and an alakasam stole the ice heart from their village. And alakasam n gengar live in a cave up the mountain. So they have to travel up and face some of their hencemen (gastly haunter abra kadabra onix hypno drowzee) while the final battle gengar takes down shiny female delibird and she falls into a cave hole not to be seen ever again. Then normal gets emotional and defeats gengar and alakasam. Looks for shiny deli and cant find her. Goes back to return the heart. Articuno comes in thanking deli and reveals that the shiny deli fell on articuno where it was sleeping.
Nicole - What’s your biggest unpopular food opinion?
bitch I love Brussels sprouts idc what anyone says
Stevie - What is the best Emma Stone movie, and why did you pick Easy A?
The best Emma Stone movie is in fact Easy A. First of all, who doesn’t love a good coming of age movie? Especially one shadowing The Scarlet Letter that most people probably had to read in high school. The cast was just great. Penn Badgley? Amanda Bynes pre total meltdown? Aly Michalka? Stanley Tucci? Lisa Kudrow?! ICONIC CAST. And we can’t forget Patricia Clarkson, the reformed slutty mom who brought her husband back to the Hetero life from his stint as a gay man because she is THAT bitch. Their family dynamic was fun to watch in every scene and I needed more of it. “Spell it with your peas!” So she didn’t say “Twat” in front of her little brother is one of my favorite moments. And shortly following the black brother talking about him being adopted and their dad saying “Who told you?!” Is still one of my favorite lines because they are a white family and it’s obvious that they did not have a black baby naturally. Every scene with the family is just filled with jokes and I love it all.
Next we need to talk about Amanda Bynes. The Jesus freak purity cult leader who clearly just needs to get laid. She goes from 0-100 REAL QUICK and down to -100 in a blink of an eye and I feel she did it so well because that’s her in real life. Having a boyfriend that was sleeping with the guidance counselor, who was 22 or something and still in high school, and got chlamydia whilst being in the Jesus purity group was just wild. Honestly thinking in depth about it, this whole movie was just wild. Amanda Bynes’ character was the antagonist that you love to hate and she definitely made the movie.
Seeing Aly Michalka in action again was truly a blessing. The nostalgia of seeing her alone from her Phil of the Future days was enough for me to love her character throughout no matter how much of a stupid bitch she was in the movie when she turned on Olive. Speaking of this, we need to talk about the root of that happening. When Olive gets a card from her grandmother in the mail and it sings “Pocketful of Sunshine” by Natasha Beddingfield. ICONIC SONG. And Emma Stone opens the card and says “ugh I hate this song.” Then proceeds to spend the entire weekend jamming out to the song (FROM THE CARD, NOT DOWNLOADING OR STREAMING) until she wears out the card and it dies. Then she lies and says she visited her older brother at college and lost her V card to a guy at his college. Which I think might be community college? I don’t remember fully. What later on in the movie SENT ME was when her phone rings and her ringtone is Pocketful of Sunshine. I was DEAD.
Most importantly Woodchuck Todd was my favorite storyline. He didn’t believe the sluttiness of Olive because of what she did for him from spin the bottle in 7th grade. I shipped them the whole movie and loved how cheesy all of it was. The most exciting part was the musical number of knock on wood at the end during the basketball game. Stellar performance, so extra, and Emma Stone killed it. So yeah these are all the main reasons why I love this movie and I could easily talk about every single thing that happened and dawn over how much I love it all but I will keep it to these fave scenes.
La La Land was a great movie but this was just so entertaining and funny and a great story. And honestly all of it was a bit ridiculous but not too ridiculous that it went to far. It was the right level. Another honorable mention would be Crazy, Stupid Love because that was also a stellar cast, really funny, and overall just great. Had a great reveal in the end. Easy A was just one of the most memorable movies I’ve seen and I love it equally as much, if not more, every time I see it. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
If anyone has a power and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so!
