All I know is that Z and Hunter seem genuinely close like sisters, and you can always tell when Z is GENUINELY close friends with her cast mates and not just "acquaintances" with them, because she will spend time with them OUTSIDE of filming, and usually on a consistent basis.

Filming is like doing a temp job. You're working with ppl for a few months, and then that's it. You leave lol. 😂 Maybe you might see those ppl again if you have to film sequels or multiple seasons with them, but otherwise, you may get close to some, or you may not. 🤷🏾‍♀️

This won't be a proper analysis of each, but more a comparison of the Prince and Bard, followed by an explanation of Breath and how they impact it.

Answer below the cut.

Prince

Princes are the Active Destroyer Class, either destroying their Aspect or destroying by using their Aspect, whichever the situation calls for.

Dirk Strider, for example, is a Prince of Heart. Heart is the Aspect of the soul, the self, and we see him destroy Heart in the form of literally being capable of destroying souls, and destroy USING Heart in the form of using his splintered selves offensively.

Eridan Ampora, likewise, is a Prince of Hope. Hope is the Aspect of imagination, hope, and faith. We see Eridan destroy Hope by destroying the Matriorb, and we see him destroy USING Hope by transforming his faith in science and his imagination into raw energy through his "science wands".

Princes also tend to start with an over-abundance of their Aspect. They simply have too much of it, and it causes them problems. Dirk had too many selves, and it overwhelmed him. Eridan had too much hope, too much faith, and it blinded him and left him wounded in ways deeper than could be healed. In this, they destroy themselves with their Aspect, constantly accumulating more of it under the belief they don't have enough, when in reality they are already suffering the effect of too much before they ever even begin.

Bard

Bards are the opposite of Princes, in more ways than one. Bards are the Passive Destroyer Class, inviting the destruction of their Aspect or inviting destruction of something/someone else through their Aspect.

We see both of these clearly with Gamzee Makara, the Bard of Rage. Rage is the Aspect of Wrath, Fear, and Contrivance. We see the full spectrum of the Bard's powers in full effect in a single event: Gamzee's murder spree.

During the spree he: - Invites destruction through Rage (Wrath) by going on an anger-fueled murder-spree, killing Equius and Nepeta. - Invites destruction through Rage (Fear) by instilling such fear of him into Equius that the blue-blood simply gives in and allows himself to be killed. - Invites destruction both of AND through Rage (Wrath/Contrivance, respectively) by sending Nepeta into such a frenzy that the normally lethal hunter's skill and prowess is useless, so blinded by her anger that she simply charges in without any thought, directly leading to her death. - Invites destruction of Rage (Wrath) through his friendship with Karkat, which proves to be the only method post-murder-spree of keeping his wrath at bay. - Invites destruction of Rage (Wrath, Fear, AND Contrivance) through his constant abuse of sopor slime pre-murder-spree, the ingestion of which destroys his highblood tendencies towards anger, intimidation, and natural ability.

I bring all of that up because it's critical to understand how the Bard works. Bards destroy their aspect and destroy with it, but while a Prince CHOOSES to do this (like with Dirk constantly crafting new ways to split himself, or actively destroying souls), the Bard has this happen to them through the consequences of their actions.

Breath: Bard vs Prince

Breath is the Aspect of freedom, movement, wind, independence. It lends itself well to both Active and Passive classes.

A Prince of Breath would be one who Destroys freedom, movement, wind, and independence, or destroys by using those concepts. They would actively destroy these things, or destroy with these things, in direct ways.

For example, they may destroy freedom by literally imprisoning others, destroy movement by locking them in stasis, destroy wind by forming a vacuum, destroy independence by taking control of others.

Or they may destroy a person/place/thing by freeing the oxygen from their lungs, stopping their heart from moving (thereby stopping it from beating), or some such like that.

They would believe they have far too little Breath of their own, always seeking more, always accumulating more, and always suffering for it until they learn to accept what they have and stop trying so hard to obtain more.

A Bard of Breath on the other hand would be one who invites destruction of freedom, movement, wind, and independence, or invites destruction through freedom, movement, wind, and independence.

They may invite destruction of freedom by calling in an authority they know will put a stop to things, or they may invite destruction of movement by carelessly distracting someone at a crucial moment, causing a severe accident.

Or they may invite destruction through movement by challenging someone to a race, running through dangerous areas they know they can get through, but leading to their opponent dying to the very danger they avoided.

They would likely make choices which lead to consequences that limit or outright remove the concepts of Breath from their life, until such time as the switch flips and they are the fury of Breath given physical form...

Overall, look at it like this:

The Prince knowingly does something to/with their Aspect as an action. The Bard accidentally causes something to happen to/with their Aspect as a consequence of an action.

LMFAOO sorry I haven't updated all day today's just been kinda a shitshow this whole week has been during study hall in the library the childhood development class came in they have kids with them once a month and they were there that day and I h a t e the sounds of babies/kids crying because it's sorta a trigger response so that was great half of our understudies won't be here for the understudy run and our director refuses to move it I sing pretty loud naturally bc yep and after the song I star in one of the girls I work with go "you're singing over shakespeare and he has a mic." and I apologized and she went "either sing quiet or don't sing at all." so yep I had a breakdown over that one of our featured dancers (the self-destructive one who refuses to admit that she's hurt) fell backstage and landed on her NOSE SHE SOMEHOW ONLY GOT A NOSE BLEED??? but reese updates for the day hmmm Earlier we were taking quizzes for fun and he asked if he was creepy or disarming and I said like 85% disarming and he asked why and I said "Well I used to be scared shitless of you. you have a very... intimidating figure" and he got all puppy eyed and stared and went "really?" and I nodded but hey it was hilarious seeing him sprint out the door 15 minutes late after rehearsal for guitar lessons
