It's so interesting how submissive House is to Wilson. In basically every scene where Wilson gives his 2 cents about a case, House without fail (for the most part) follows his opinion. Wilson gives him unsolicited advice and half the time he listens without saying anything, and the other half he argues but ends up listening to him anyway. House starts psychoanalysing Wilson and Wilson does it right back to him and House shuts the fuck up or gives a one line quip back at him (to have the last line) but knows deep down Wilson is right.
For a man of House's stature and how he interacts with Literally Everyone Else, the writers really hammer it into your soul that House only really listens to Wilson and no one else

the thing about labru vs kabumisu is that both of them have the same core appeal to me, specifically from kabru's side of things: kabru being someone who is constantly agonizing about social rules and putting on the right mask, and meeting this Weird Fucking Guy who does not (cannot) care about all those things, and so kabru slowly allows himself to be more genuine. they're both such good relationships (whether you view them romantically or platonically), why must there be so much hostility between enjoyers of these ships?

Hey. Hey. Speaking of Kaveh being like Kaeya mischaracterizations, I've come to a realization.
People say they want Kaeya and Diluc to be shippable instead of siblings because they want the dynamic, but the dynamic they describe isn't even theirs to begin with half the time; it's Kaveh and Al Haitham
huh anon yeah you might be onto something. admittedly i dont know exactly what the k*el*c people see as super romantic in the dynamic because i dont ever look at what they do i just block on sight. but if they want a friends to enemies to lovers sort of thing, then yeah kaveh and alhaitham have it all. to play devils advocate for one second though i guess you could argue that, oh, kaeya and diluc have a much more serious falling out and theres more angst and the stakes are higher all throughout their stories compared to kaveh and alhaitham who are just living in a college/university slow burn au, and thus the comparison made is stupid or whatever, i dont know. but im not the devils advocate and i dont care. so yeah i do think you're onto something

I'm currently getting through ordem for the first time and the amount of times I have to pause myself before getting excited at a new player/guest to check whether they've said or done something awful since is becoming quite a fun game, it makes me really sad seeing how some relationships have panned out because of how strong the chemistry was between everyone in the early seasons, but I guess that's just how life goes sometimes, especially in the public eye. (poor guy)
yeah i mean i'd finished aop and just started osnf when the rakin shit happened and watching the rest of the series with rakin in like almost everything is gonna be kind of weird. i already hate his play style though so it's not gonna make too much of a different on my opinions of his characters
but yeah it's a bit disappointing i guess to realize how many people did great work on ordem but for whatever reason have some beef irl and that kind of poisons their time on the show, although honestly i think the hardest ones will be much later down the line from where i am so i'm not too worried personally.
watching anything a bit old is like that though; every time i watch an among us vod or something it's like taking attendance of everyone who's talked shit and everyone who's still friends with him

complaining about gender clinic again
mid-may: coincidentally finds out that the gender clinic offers [resource] they never informed me or nearly anyone else about, gets help from one of the nurses to order [resource] except she's going to send me more info over email first :)
(late july: my GP can also order [resource] for me and does so, it's different than the one i ordered through gender clinic because i wasn't sure if gender clinic was going to send me the [resource i ordered] or not. GP order goes through immediately)
early august, back from travelling: well i haven't received any emails nor word about [resource] so i'll shoot them a message
mid-august: well i haven't received any replies to my message so i'll call them even though their call times are a scarce two hours every weekday. i'm told they'll call me back over the week
this monday: over a week has passed and i received no call. i will call them again! the lady on the phone says i should contact the regional centre because that's where they send [resource orders] :) and if i don't want to do that i should call [different number that has call times only twice a week]
today: "hello special gender clinic number i really want a follow up about this thing one of your nurses promised but i have been completely unable to get a single word about despite contacting you multiple times"
"oh no!! i see you sent us a message weeks ago and nobody answered it! this isn't supposed to happen!"
"one would think"
(and then she actually emailed me!!!!! yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS TIME IT BETTER GO THROUGH I SWEAR TO GOD.)
