Ok, so, 🖐bare with me🖐, I've had this theory (with proof) for awhile now but when I went to share it with you, you recently made a post about your ask box being closed, but now that it's open again, I can share it with you and maybe get some kind of confirmation!

So,

There's a scene in Mushroom Oasis where MC is kinda just zoning out while Mychael rambles on about the life cycle of a "topsy-turvy door-knee". Now, at first I thought this was just a mistake on his English (considering he mixed up the words touch and touchè), but then I put more thought into it. A scene before that mentions that Mychael's favorite animal is a jellyfish because he

1. Thinks they're pretty to look at

2. He relates to one specific type (remember this reason and stay with me here!)

So I figured that this "topsy-turvy door-knee" thing had to do with jellyfish in some way. I searched up different kinds of jellyfish and a certain type catches my eye. The turritopsis dohrnii, or better known as the immortal jellyfish. I think he relates to this jellyfish by being immortal. My reasoning being that "topsy-turvy door-knee" sounds VERY alike to the scientific name of the immortal jellyfish.
